Journey Roleplays! They're the grilled cheese of roleplays. So often done, but never dull. They also require little thought and can really, never go wrong since the concept is so simple. Not to say that's a bad thing.
ANYWAY enough of my rambling. There haven't been any new journey roleplays lately and I'm bored, soooo....
My random number generator said galar so here we go!
Rules

He's quite optimistic and likes to crack jokes often. He's capable in battle, and is surprisingly intelligent, at least pokemon-wise., although despite his intelligence, he can be very dense and can't really take a hint unless said aloud. He's clumsy whenever unfocused, which is often. He can be very sarcastic and snarky when in a bad mood, usually because of cold or if he just doesn't like the person.

Personality: Greg is a confident and friendly individual with an equal sense of sass and sarcasm at times, he respects his friends and always tries to pay people back if they help him. He has a strong love for Pokemon and an even stronger love for battling... although he shows visible anger if someone treats their Pokemon poorly or if he loses a Pokemon battle. He is a person who prefers nature over the big cities.
Backstory: Born in Hulbury, Gregory grew up around the environment with a lot of Pokemon, his father was a helper at Milo's gym while his mother ran a flower shop with her trusty Tsareena. Gregory spent half of his time watching battles on television and his other half playing with Tsareena, one day, his father gave Gregory a Poke ball and went with him to teach him about catching Pokemon, in the end, Gregory caught a Rookidee and the two became fast friends. Now that Gregory has reached (and past) the appropriate trainer age, he seeks to begins his Pokemon journey and become a strong and proud Pokemon trainer.

He was the best in his class at sprinting and athletics, though that was mainly because everyone else was uninterested in PE. Then, his parents and one of his brothers passed away in a car crash. Each of the siblings went to separate regions and foster homes, with John being sent over to Motostoke City in Galar.
John's new home was more forgiving, but he didn't care about anyone else. All he had his mind on was himself and his partner Pawniard, and as soon as he left when he was 16 years old, he lived in an apartment and worked at retail.

Her light strawberry brown hair falls about to her waist, with an intense emphasis on the pinkish tint. She has pale cocoa eyes framed with long, dark eyelashes. Her hair is often swept up into a bun or multiple of them, a high ponytail of some sort, or a single braid. She often sports a long-sleeved white shirt complimented by a black cardigan a little too big for her, black leggings, and tall cream boots with an ruffled, ebony rucksack.
Personality: Her overall social category fits in with an ambivert, who does fine in social settings but does not like to be the center of attention. Loyalty is one of her main values, however much it may pain her if she’s in a toxic relationship. Common moods for her include optimism or neutrality.

Violet is native to the Sinnoh region, and has lived with her mother since she was five years old due to the divorce of her parents. She often remembers fights and struggles, and was always choosing one side or the other until they decided to split up. This was her mother more often than not, and her father was furious at her repeated alliance with his wife. Her father moved to Galar, where he now resides as an obscure assistant of Professor Magnolia’s. When the Galar region became popular because of its now-noticed Gym Challenge, her mother sent her off with her only Pokémon, one she had received for emotional support very young, to compete in what she’d be happy doing. Despite the ups and downs of her past, Violet will struggle yet again to become the best trainer in all of Galar!

When they glow, it is undeniably pastel pink. Her eyes are a soft lilac-blue color. Overall, the commonly portrayed sleek Umbreon is replaced with a cuter, fluffier version. The only accessory she always has on is a collar that matches her eyes, with a chiming silver bell attached. This is a Soothe Bell.
Personality - She is a timid, introverted Pokémon who often displays signs of stress such as kneading paws, crawling low to the ground, or shivering when provoked. This Umbreon should be approached with caution, or else she’ll probably become afraid and flee. It takes her a while to warm up to people, but inside, she doesn’t want her heart to be broken again. Being separated from her parents at a young age to become a helper Pokémon really did a number on her mental state. Surprisingly, this is why she bonded with Violet so well. They’d both gone through separation. Also, as an Eevee, she wasn’t very strong, so she had a reason to be wary. Once you get to know her, she will be loyal to you no matter what so no one can take her away again.

His farther has been caught stealing many times. When Leon was 8 he found Tarilla in the forest hobbling along Leon brought it to the water and they bonded after he took care of her. They have been best friends ever since and now it's time for their adventure.

Backstory: Sol, along with other Solosis, was used by Xander's parents to carry out many different DNA experiments. Most of them were cruel, involving physical dissection of the Solosis after experimentation, while it was alive. Against his parent's will, Xander stole a Solosis from their lab and raised it in secrecy, all the way up to a Duosion. While on a trip to Galar to publish their findings, a criminal organisation hijacked the cruise ship. Xander was rescued by local authorities, but his parents were never found.

Backstory: Sol, along with other Solosis, was used by Xander's parents to carry out many different DNA experiments. Most of them were cruel, involving physical dissection of the Solosis after experimentation, while it was alive. Against his parent's will, Xander stole a Solosis from their lab and raised it in secrecy, all the way up to a Duosion. While on a trip to Galar to publish their findings, a criminal organisation hijacked the cruise ship. Xander was rescued by local authorities, but his parents were never found.
