Rin nodded. "Yeah, we all might need to get something formal too, if we're gonna be a representative. I also need some casual clothing. Let's stop by at the next store."

James entered his apartment and closed the door with a sigh, locking it. This was the most success he'd had in weeks, and it wasn't even public. His public image still remained horribly stained as ever. "Mention Jack." He said to himself. "Mention Jack..." He found his favorite sitting spot; his couch. With that, he lied down and felt his eyes droop. The alarm would go off in three hours, best to get as much rest as possible.
It was a good thing he always wore gloves, because if those men had shaken his REAL hand... well, the only question would be 'What men'? It's more of a curse than an ability, to be able to kill anyone and anything by touching it, regardless of whether it's a human, a devil, or a God.

"So this is the place." Zane said as he stood in front of the door of James' house. Zane decided he would test his luck and see if the man would let him through the front door. Unknown to Arthur, Zane hadn't come there to kill James, atleast for now. He just wanted to ask him a question. It was something that had always been in the back of his mind. It was something he thought maybe James could answer. Well, there was only way to find out. With that, Zane clicked the doorbell and knocked on the door a few times to make sure James could hear.

James sat up groggily. "Damnit... I'm getting no sleep tonight..." He made his way to the door, stopping at the mirror, making sure he looks decent before unlocking and opening his door. "Hello?" He asks the man standing there.

"Really, I've been the formal one, the entire time,"Quickdraw said as they converged into the highway, before gesturing to his formal jacket, and slacks. "We should talk to the others when we get there. Discuss who it will be, and remember, he said he only needed one."

"Yes you can actually. Do you think you can let me in because what I have to tell you is really important and I don't want the whole street to hear us." Zane told James. "If this makes things better, I'm a meta and I need to ask you some questions." Zane said to James, hoping this would convince him. He would rather not use force until he had too.

"Thanks." Zane said as he walked in. "Nice place you got here." Zane said as he looked around. Eventually Zane found a good spot to sit down. "Sit down James because what I have to tell you might affect your life in more ways than one." Zane told James as he got comfortable.

"Well I guess I'll start off with this." Zane said before getting up. He pulled out his sword and put the tip at James' neck. "I was sent here to kill you." Zane told James before he started to grin. He wanted to see what James would do. Was he just like any other human or did he truly believe that metas could be trusted.

James looked down at the sword. "I have many enemies. Didn't realize they would use what they dislike against me. It's... ironic." He was remaining calm. If he were to die now, he would be remembered, and he would leave a mark, and a legacy. In death, he could achieve more than in life.
Or, if this meta is dumb enough to get close, a simple touch from a single finger would take his life...

"Yeah it kind of is ironic." Zane chuckled a bit as he thought about James' statement. Then he pulled his sword away. "It's good to know you're not like the other humans who just cower in fear when they see one of us." Zane said as he sat back down. "I mean we're not all that different. Like this sofa feels comfortable for me as well." Zane told James as he laid back. "But in all seriousness, I was actually sent here to kill you. However, that all depends on how you answer my questions." Zane told James, trying to be a bit more serious. "Do you honestly believe us metas can live together peacefully with the humans?" Zane asked James,

"Peacefully? No. There will always be conflict. What I'm trying to do is form an alliance. Peace... peace is an impossible concept. It's simply a dream for idiots. An alliance is the closest we can get. I believe that if we have an alliance, we have a better chance of surviving." James answered. "Next question."

Zane was reminded about what Alex said as he went through the portal. 'People can only achieve peace and true happiness once they understand and accept each other physically and mentally.' "I guess he is an idiot." Zane said to himself as he shook his head. "My next question is why are you so pro-meta? You've seen the things we've done. The things we're capable of. What makes you think that even if this alliance was formed, people like me would just go along with it?" Zane asked. "Do you know why we despise humans so much? I've seen what you do to my kind. You humans believe that you are the superior race. when in fact we are the next step in human evolution. You capture us, put us in institutions, prisons, and perform tests and experiments on us and then believe you are doing the right thing. That is something that I just don't understand and it is unforgivable." Zane stated.

James cocked his head slightly, looking at Zane. "Who said I'm human?" He asks. Without waiting for a response, he stood in his chair, and removed his left glove, approaching one of his plants in the corner of the room. He reached up his hand, and touched the plant with his finger. The plant immediately shriveled up, shrinking. In less than an instant, the plant was dead. James turned back to Zane. "I have death's touch." He said. "So you ask why I am pro-meta, it has nothing to do with my ability. As a matter of fact, I hate my ability. Yes, I've seen what metas can do, and i've seen what humans can do. I never said ALL humans and metas can live together. Some just aren't strong enough to possibly think of living in a world that isn't separated directly into 'metas' and 'humans'. It's not even as simple as 'good' vs 'evil'." James had returned to his seat slowly while he spoke, returning his glove onto his hand.

Alex laid back against the roof and looked up at the sky, it was such as peaceful morning compared to the constant running from humanity. Alex lifted up his hand focused on it a little bit and a small black flame ignited in his palm, "So this must be the power he gave me." Alex said as he put out the flame, the leaves blowed gently through the wind and the sky was the same blue as his eyes.

Zane was shocked when James revealed his power but didn't want to show it. "Interesting. A meta this high up in Washington and no one has even the slightest idea. You've been playing your cards well." Zane stated, obviously impressed. "It's clear to me now that you've been working on this alliance for awhile which makes me wonder, how have you not been able to convince the court? I'm sure you've brought up some good ideas." Zane stated before remembering Arthur. He had completely forgotten about Arthur's place in this. "The government is corrupted, isn't it?" Zane asked.

Fern frowned as she watched the world go by outside the window of her limousine. She was stuck in traffic as her security detail and manager tried to figure out what to do. The singer whistled a song tune and watched as two people seeming fell in love out of nowhere.

"The Government is very corrupt. I'd say it's mainly because of my largest opponent, Arthur. He has a truly influencing voice. I'd say, if he were secretly a meta like me, his power would be a manipulating voice. I'm going to go out on a branch here and assume Arthur sent you." James said, stroking his chin thoughtfully.

"Maybe or maybe not." Zane said as he rubbed his hair. "I would like to tell you my employer but this place might be bugged and I don't want to risk my money. Speaking of which, since I do want that five hundred thousand, I'm pondering on whether I should kill you or not." Zane told James. "But then again, you'd probably kill me as soon as I touched you." Zane said looking directly at James' hands. "What do I do?" Zane asked himself as he placed his hand on his temple deep in thought.

"Do whatever you want. I'm not going to stop you. Maybe. But Arthur is a ruthless man. It's quite evident he's employed you. Your tone and body language gave it away, as well as a slight dilate in your eyes. Arthur might give you your hard earned money, yes, or, he might simply attempt to capture you and lock you up in another of his experiments. Yes, I know of those, I just have no evidence to go against him on it." James stood and rubbed his eyes. "But if you are not going to kill me, then we'll need to wrap this up, because I'm rather tired and in dire need of rest before another political push later today."

"Say, what type of evidence would you need to take Arthur down?" Zane asked. He would love to take Arthur down himself but he wanted to see if the justice system was any good. "Anyways, I guess I can tell Arthur you weren't here. or something like that. I think he'll believe me." Zane stated.

"Well the enemy of my enemy is my friend." Zane stated as he looked at James. For some reason he felt like he could trust this guy so he went along with it. Zane put his hand out. "You have made me believe that there might be a chance for an alliance between humans and metas. If Arthur stands in our way, then he must be taken down." Zane told James.

Rin nodded. "I can go. I'm not an actual meta, I can just control my life energy in... interesting ways." He flared up his aura, smiling. "But we'll discuss it with the others."

"Hopefully." Zane said as they finished shaking hands. "Well I'm going to go now so you can get your rest. I'll tell Arthur some bullshit story tomorrow so he doesn't get suspicious. I'll also see if I can get some leverage on him as well." Zane said as he walked to the door. "Oh yeah, I don't think I told you my name. It's Zane." He said before opening the door. "I have your number so I will keep in touch. Until next time." Zane told James before leaving.

James nodded at Zane before he left. Maybe now, James could finally get some rest...

Dirk dropped Taylor off at a mansion, and was gone before anyone could notice him. All they found was a flustered Taylor.
Something big is about to go down, and the whole fate of humanity may be in the balance...

Jack looked up at the sky. Wow... he'd never taken the time to appreciate this... the stars... they're beautiful. He shook his head, clearing out the dreamy voice. There was no doubt about it, he'd split into two separate personalities. Jack quickly got up and looked into the forest. He could smell that meta around here somewhere...

"Yeah, let's discuss it with the others. I'm on the same boat, as being barely Meta, but I couldn't do it. I hate politics. " Quickdraw said as he shifted lanes. "So should we stop at a store so you guys can get ahold of something decent to wear? Or should we head home first?" he asked.

Rin stroked his chin. "Let's get something to wear. My only clothing is a military trench coat that makes me look like a protagonist from Assassin's Creed, and that's about it."

"Okay, we'll head to a mall," Quickdraw said turning off onto an exit. He drove up and pared outside a large mall. "Let's keep things on the down low. In and out. Got it guys," he said getting out of the car.

Jack looked at his reflection in the water. He could barely see it, but he was rather a hideous site. Maybe it's all the blood. Yeah, it's probably that. He growled in a low tone at it as the reflection seminal smiled at him. It's his head playing mind tricks again. It's getting too annoying for Jack as Spades continues to pester him. Jack splashed the water and turned away from it. This place really is far more peaceful than anywhere he's been. He feels contempt. He is actually enjoying himself... or maybe that's just Spades talking. Regardless of who it is, Jack lies on the ground, and looks up at the morning sky. He could go for a nice flight.

Dillon got out the car and followed the guys into the mall. "We should got he food court after we're done. I haven't had any good food for weeks." Dillon stated.

Rin shrugged. "Maybe, we're in a bit of a time crunch here. I'm gonna head over to Old Navy or something. Let's rendezvous back here at the entrance once we're done, alright?"

Draco look around while he stayed in the water "man it's sure is quiet too quiet" he told himself while he look up into the sky with tear's "im alone again why?.

"I'll come with you." Dillon said as he followed Rin. I have no money anyway so you'll have to buy stuff for me and Alex." Dillon told Rin as they walked to Old Navy.

Draco got up and walk towards his Motorcycle before he slid his deck into his belt Trasforming him into Ryuki. "Ok lets go" Ryuki called out as he drove into the waterfall reflection and later what's in the mirror world again.

Fern stepped out of her limo and was quickly escorted into the mall. A large stage having been set up in it. She was put backstage so that make up could be done and outfits could be readied. She could already hear some fans gathering and soon she was pushed out on stage to promote a new make up and do her song.
