Then keep living your fairy tales. You give Dragon Ball Z a bad name, and I just want to say that maybe you should get a little creative, and try making him a character of your own. See, I was in your shoes when first making my characters, but quickly, I adapted and changed them into something more unique.
Dave. Originally a quiet, cool guy with zero fucks. Through change, he is now confident, loud and obnoxious, and a caring character.
Nathan. Originally a being of infinite power and a refusal to battle. Through change, he is now less OP and more eager to help those he cares about.
Jack. Originally based on Big Boss. He's still similar, but I've made obvious changes.
Adam... you know what, let's not talk about him.
I'm just saying, make your character unique. Work on your grammar (I've noticed improvements, kudos to you). And understand your character before you use them. You didn't know what you wanted to do with your first guy, and now he's forgotten. I'll admit, I didn't have much for Adam to do deeper into the story, so I got rid of him.
