Casys rolled his neck to loosen the tense muscles, and nodded to Boris as he passed him on his way out of the warehouse. He spread his wings, thankful to stretch them again, and took flight. He was careful not to fly above the rooftops of buildings, but as he felt the wind on his face Casys just couldn't resist. He soared to a wide rooftop, retracted his wings and took off free running.
Casys skidded to a halt on the rooftop, peering down at the house where the battle had taken place. It was swarmed with human police officers, as well as a few army members. Casys jumped down, landing in the shadows of an alley, and crept by into the house. He found the device laying on a countertop, but before he could get to it two police officers walked into the kitchen, weapons drawn. "Dammit," Casys cursed under his breath. He froze the water in their brains, killing them instantly, and swiped the device off of the counter. He stalked out of the house and flew back to the warehouse as fast as he could. "I got the device," Casys said as he flew in through the open doors.
