James looked at Boris. " Go find the device Boris." James said. "I'll keep guard of our resident witch. He said as he leaned back. he whispered " Sorry I messed that up again Miridia." He said. " It might be a good idea if I just stay here." He said. " It aint exactly like I'm useful anyways."

Casys rolled his neck to loosen the tense muscles, and nodded to Boris as he passed him on his way out of the warehouse. He spread his wings, thankful to stretch them again, and took flight. He was careful not to fly above the rooftops of buildings, but as he felt the wind on his face Casys just couldn't resist. He soared to a wide rooftop, retracted his wings and took off free running.

Casys skidded to a halt on the rooftop, peering down at the house where the battle had taken place. It was swarmed with human police officers, as well as a few army members. Casys jumped down, landing in the shadows of an alley, and crept by into the house. He found the device laying on a countertop, but before he could get to it two police officers walked into the kitchen, weapons drawn. "Dammit," Casys cursed under his breath. He froze the water in their brains, killing them instantly, and swiped the device off of the counter. He stalked out of the house and flew back to the warehouse as fast as he could. "I got the device," Casys said as he flew in through the open doors.

Miridia grumbled and opened her eyes again. She looked at everyone and yawned, steadying herself when her eyes messed up for a moment. She slowly stood up and patted everyone on the head, "so we got the device. What are we going to do now? Are we going to go after the monster or go home"?

"We should go home." James said. " Sabrina is safe. Let that monster terrorize this universe." He said. He grabbed the device he messed around with it before activating it. A blue portal appeared infront of James. " Alright everyone go through I'll stay guard in case any one show's up." He said. though he could barley speak do to the wind like noise the portal created.

Akron was trudging through the forest until he heard a deafening howl of wind as a portal opened a mile away from him. "Uh, what?" He stood there, dumbfounded. "Okay, what is actually happening?"

Miridia stood up and dusted herself off. She stretched and looked at the portal, keeping her eyes around the building as she tried to make sure they weren't being tracked. She felt the small patch of scales on the back of her neck, happy that they weren't falling off.

Julian helped his friend up. "Hey So I heard you made General." He said to Pyke. " They must of been very desperate." he said sarcastically.
" I heard you died in New York." He said as he regained some of his strength. " Glad you didn't." He then looked serious. " You got to get out of here. It's a trap." A shiver ran down Julian's neck.
Julian pressed a hand onto his intercom. "Private how does it look out there?" He asked.
"Everything is fine... What is that. Oh god it got pierce." Julian heard gun fire through his intercom. " It's not...." All Julian heard was a gargle sound as the gun fire stopped.
Julian looked at Vex. " We need to leave now."

Vex nodded turning around slowly walking towards the exit, he paused for a moment to listen. He looked back at Julian and gestured to come. "Its quiet but I dont think we're gonna be aloud to walk out of here easily."

Julian nodded and walked by Vex. "Boy." Pyke said. " Me and the boy here will try and find an exit route. Hardeng and Moreland you both hold off whatever they plan on doing until we find something."
Julian shook his head as he and Hardeng placed C4 around the entrance. Both of them took cover and waited for whatever it was to show up.

Casys carefully stepped through the portal, feeling a brief spell of vertigo before making it to the other side. He tumbled to the ground, dizzy, but quickly got up and shook his head to clear it. "If I never go through a portal again, it'll be too soon," He muttered as he got to his feet. He reached to make sure that his axe was still there, but with a pang of pain he remembered that it had shattered against Josiah's jaw in their fight in the other dimension. All Casys had left of his weapon was the simple, well-worn hilt.

Casys spread his wings and flew upwards, looking to get a view of the mansion. He turned his head and saw it, about a mile away, and soared to the house.

Dasken wasted no time in blasting his way through the portal and to the mansion. In a fancy flourish and a somehow symmetrical wisp of kicked-up dirt and dust, he landed, walking, to the front door of the mansion.

Miridia looked around one last time before she stepped through the portal. She caught herself and smiled, walking to the cabin to check on Lyric and Sabrina. She saw Lyric and sat down at the counter, joining the woman for tea.

Casys zoomed up to Dasken just before he entered the mansion. "Hey, uh, Dasken," Casys stuttered, "Is it okay if I stay here for a while?" He had no where else to go, and even if he did, Casys would have wanted to stay with his former friend a while longer.

James looked at the portal. " Your next Boris." He said. " Go through the portal and go home i'll be right behind you." He lied he already made up his mind that he was staying there.

Julian breathed out. he heard the sound of feet. He looked and saw a monster looking at them. One of it's arms appeared to be two blades. It's skin was orange like. He had what looked like a third eye ball on it's shoulder. Both of the soilders looked at each other and shook their heads. Julian detonated the C4 as soon as it entered the dungeon

Dasken nodded, and tried to hold back a smile. "Of course, Casys. You are my friend, after all. If nothing else, we can share a room." He turned to walk in again.

Boris looked at James and smirked. "I not going until you go, you not able to lie to telepath you know." Boris said still smirking. "Tell me why you want stay in this dimmension." Boris demanded.

Middie looked at her guest with an inimpressed look. She sat down and swirled the wine in her cup, humming in thought.
Faela moved down the hall and back towards her room. Her tail lashed about and her wings were pressed close to herself.

The fire cleared up as the monster stood there unaffected. "Shit." Julian mouthed. Both Julian and Hardeng opened fire on the thing as it ran towards them. Their bullets bounced off of the monster as it closed the gap between them.
"What the fuck is this thing." Hardeng said. He tried to reload only to be skewed on the beast's blade.
Julian yelled as he ran towards it. It used it's non bladed hand slap Julian into a wall breaking the wall in the process.

Charles watched as TS-01 walked slowly towards the solider. " Kill him." He said into a microphone. He smile a little bit. "So Ms. Midide what do you think of my bio weapon?' He asked.

James looked at Boris. " Trust me Boris it will be better if I wasn't there I screw enough things up as is." He threw the device towards the Bear. "Tell Miridia that I won't be able to make the date."

"Interesting. Very interesting," Middie nodded as she kept her face neutral. She sipped her wine and offered some to the man she was doing business with. She leaned back and watched, "how do they fare against a dragon"?
Faela moved around the corner and growled lowly as she slowly started to shift. Her roar when she fully transformed echoed through the mansion and she checked the air, moving toward the prison.

Vex shot forward as Julian was slapped into a wall, taking advantage of the monsters lowered defences and striking out hard with his blade. He followed through and spun around looking back at the monster. "You gotta be kidding me...." he said staring at the shallow cut on the monster's chest.

"Dragon? Charles said in disbelief. "It'll harm it that's for sure.

The beast laughed as it slapped the man into the wall. "Time to die." It said. Before it could do anything an explosion hit it's back. It looked behind itself to see an old man standing there. "I'm sorry sunny." The old man said before a blue light appeared revealing himself to be Brandon. "But I'm not going to let you hurt them.

Middie shocked her head in agreement when she heard the roar. She sighed and summoned another orb, frowning slight as she saw Faela surging through her mansion and knocking things about.
Faela made her way to the dungeon, bursting through a wall as she roared.

Ethan appeared next to Charles. "Your Bio weapons are not bad, but it just look like a mindless killing machine. My genetically engineered animals have much more personality than that. I'll introduce you to them." He said as he pushed a button on his watch. Three shadows appeared behind him. "Meet my brand new genetic beings." Behind him stood a humanoid tiger, lioness and mantis covering her mout with one of her claws.

"You have been busy," Middie turned to the creatures and looked over the three. She leaned back in her chair and summoned more wine to herself. She leaned back and watched the chaos unfold.

Casys tucked in his wings, not withdrawing them, and followed Dasken into the mansion. "Should I get myself acquainted with my new milieu, or what?" Casys asked Dasken.

Charles looked at the beasts unamused. "And what happens when they go up against a meta." He said. " Didn't a decent portion of yours die when they fought only two of them. " He said as he read information from his glasses. " And another turned on you correct. Mine are loyal to their master whoever it ma end up being

"Oh but that where its different." Ethan said to Charles with pride. "You see, these are a new generation of genetic beast, they are way more advanced than those prototypes and that bear." He turned to them. "Zaria show them what you can do won't you." The lionnes smirked. "I though you would never ask." She said. She held up her hand and a wisp of fire formed on above it, the wisp flew around her hand until it returned to her palm where it was extinguished. "You see I found the way to infuse powers into my creations And the betraying part, it won't happen because unlike most evil scientist I'm actually nice to my creation." Ethan said lifting his hand.

Akron trudged to the house, forgetting how tired he was after what had happened. He sighed. Hopefully Stephen was right and Lyric would forgive him. He opened the door to see Miridia and Lyric conversing over cups of tea. "Is Sabrina alright?" He asked, walking to the kitchen to brew a cup of coffee.

Dasken nodded. "Thing is, Casys, these people will take you in like family, no matter what you do." His face grew dark for an extended moment, but eventually returned to normal. "Come on in." Dasken said with a dark undertone.

"She is fine," Lyric nodded and smiled at him. Miridia looked between the two as she had finished her spell, still unable to remove the chip without hurting the person it was attached to. She sipped her tea and looked between the two, nodding, "yeah they got her back. We're quick about it too".
Middie actually giggled at the argument between the he two people. She then showed them the orb that showed Faela, "how about we see who's better? First one to kill or get the dragon in submission is better".

Akron took a sip of coffee and sat next to Lyric. "I'm sorry I let Josiah get away with her. I wasn't fast enough. Please, please say you forgive me." Akron held Lyric's hands in his and looked at her, sadness glinting in his amber eyes.

"You didn't have to be fast enough. That man is no longer human as Miridia has filled me in. There is nothing to be forgiven," Lyric kissed his cheek before finishing her drink and standing up, "now Zack was very upset when you pushed him away and is in the room Miridia is letting us use so I think it would be best to see him. Be quiet though, Sabrina is sleeping"

Akron stared as realization hit him. "Oh, crap. I'm in for it now." He made his way to the room Zack was in and sat next to him on the bed. "Hey, buddy. Listen, I'm sorry for pushing you that other day. I guess I was so struck by Sabrina going missing, I lost all other sense. Do you forgive me?" Akron ruffled the kid's hair and flashed him a playful smirk. "I'll take you on the highest piggy back ride you've ever been on."

Zack rolled over to look at akron. He was pouring and had tear stains on his face. He hugged his dad tightly and whimpered softly, pressing his face into his chest, "you own me that piggyback ride".

Akron hugged his son back. "I know. I'll be a better father to you, I promise." He sighed. "All right, come on, stop crying. What's gonna happen if I'm gone? You have to take care of the family when that happens." Akron ruffled Zack's hair. "Are you hungry? I can make something to eat."

"M fine", Zack sighed and wiped his eyes. He sat back and smiled at him happily. He slowly got off the bed and tugged on akrons arm toward the door, "can you teach me how to fight"?

Akron's eyes widened in surprise. "Fight? How old are you again?" His amber eyes glinted with pride for his son. "Of course I will. If," He raised a finger to indicate he wasn't done. "If your mother agrees."

Boris looked at James. "Don't say that friend James, miss Miridia need your company and you great person in our gang." Boris said to try and get James to go with him

Ethan listened to Middie. "Sure challenge accepted." He turned to the mantis. "Lauris I leaving you in charge of taming that dragon." The mantis looked down unsure if she could do it. Ethan put his hand on her shoulders. "Don't worry I know you can do it." He said to the mantis. Lauris blushed when she heard his say that. "What? Why her of all of us, I'm more capable than any of here." The tiger growled. Zaria rolled her eyes at him. "Zip it Khan complaining will make you look bad. Khan glared at Zaria. "Who says you can boss me around!" Ethan looked back at the to felines. "Shut it lovebirds." Khan and Zaria both stepped forward. "We are not lovebirds!" They said as the same time.

"Um...Alright then," Casys responded. He looked around, impressed with the lavish decor. Rrrrrr! Casys chuckled and asked Dasken, "Is there a kitchen? I'm pretty hungry after all that fighting earlier!"
