Drakkon just grinned. There was a tremendous flash, and not only were Drakkon and Dasken gone, but so was Ashley. The air sizzled and popped, pitch black smoke rising where the three were.

Miridia blinked in surprise before throwing her teacup at a wall. A shadow caught it before it could be smashed and it disappeared. A new cup formed and she quickly drank it down to keep her scales from creeping up her neck and fangs hidden.

Midnight walked through the mansion, thinking about all that he had missed. It was strange, he couldn't have been gone for more than a month but... so much had seemed to happened.

He decided to find someone, anyone that he could talk to.

Miridia marched through the hall after she finished her tea. She kicked the door open to her mana room and her little shadows scattered as they felt her anger. She fell to her knees and slowed her breathing, forcing herself to relax.

Joshua walked out of the mansion and headed towards his campsite. He made it there and grabbed a neutralizer. " this is stupid. The bastard deserves what he's getting." He let out a breath and headed towards the Coven.

Lyric stayed at the mansion to calm down the kids by making cookies. She stretched and smiled to hide her fear from the little ones. She whistled and helped them wash up as she made the cookies.

Joshua entered the Coven. He walked slowly around trying to blend in. He wondered what Julian might be up too. He took a deep breath. He had to get Dask to safety. He wondered around until he found the witch's mansion. He entered the mansion while no one was looking. He pressed the button on the Neutralizer and proceeded to walk around.
His mind wondered back to Lyric as he wondered what she saw in him. He's broken her heart too many times yet she stays with him. The other guy would be a better match for her. even if he does seem a little to clingy.

As Lyric baked cookies for the kids, Akron decided to play with them and let them hang on his arm. The kids begged him to give them a piggy back ride, Akron flashed an exhausted look at Lyric and smiled, complying to the kids' wishes.

Lyric shook her head with a small laugh before continuing to follow Miridia's cook book. She was happy the witch had normal recipes and kept an eye on the kids from where she was cooking.
Miridia teleported into the room and whistled to catch the kids attention, luring them away from Akron with a small magic show.

Joshua was a little surprised by the fact that he hadn't been caught yet. Maybe they think he's Julian and not attacking him. He kept walking through the witches mansion wondering if and where the witch might keep her prisoners.

Faela strode through the halls and walked past Josh without a second thought. She moved down into the kitchen and started to ready some wine for the witch. She sighed and also grabbed some grapes for her, taking the tray to her study.

He kept walking through the mansion. He was lost that much was for sure. He walked up to Middie's study. 'I'm staying away from here.' he said as he turned around

Faela left the room after she had delivered the food and made it to the small library that she had acquired. She changed into a dress with a low back and a short skirt, shorts slipped on afterward. With a roll of her shoulders her races features appeared and she grabbed a book, laying in a nest of sorts as she read.

Akron, thankful to Miridia for taking the kids off of him for a while, made his way over to Lyric. He put his hand on her shoulder and said, "Hey, if I'm ever being too clingy around you, just tell me, okay? I feel like I've hung around you for more than you can bear."

"It's fine," she smiled and kissed his cheek before going back to finishing up the treats. She slid them into the oven and dusted her hands off, turning to the mess she had made with the cookware. She stretched and got to work, "I'll tell you if I need space. Would you like to help me clean up? Miridia is probably to busy with the kids to help".

Lyri watched Miridia and the kids as she cleaned, checking on the cookies every so often until they were done. She set onto of the stove and let the smell drift through the house as they cooled down.

As Akron was cleaning, he caught a whiff of the cookies, fresh out of the oven. "Wow, that smells amazing," He complimented, throwing Lyric a grin. "You never told me you were such a good baker!"

"I learned how to bake when I was younger," she hummed as she finished stacking some pots and remembered the farm she grew up on. With a careful finger she tested them before nodding, "they are still hot but should be good in a minute or so".

He let out a breath. " it's fucking pointless." He thought. It wasn't like he cared about Dask any way. He took out the gun he had and looked at it. All he needed was one clean shot and it would all be over. Lyric will be happy with Akron, Sabrina will be taken care of. and he rarely spoke to anyone else. His brother was happy and not being a psycho path, and his sister found her true self. He could just end all of this. He let out a breath and walked into the witches study. He pressed the neutralizer and pointed his gun at her. "It's over." He said.

Middie looked up from her wine and smiled. She leaned back in her chair and waved. Her smile was poisoning and her eyes held a curious chill to them, "oh is it now? A gun to a witch and a neutralizer? You do realize that the moment you kill me my death protection puppet will just fix me back up and I have many of those thing. Come sit, have some wine".

"Well." He said. He lowered his gun and sat down. He took a glass of wine and sipped it. " If you're going to kill me go right ahead." he said before taking another sip.

"Why would I do that? Why would you want to die anyway, a lost loved one or some other reason," she smiled and offered him some grapes, popping one into her mouth so she could chew on it.

"Alright, I'll bring the kids in." Akron kissed Lyric on the forehead and walked out into the backyard. "Zack! Sabrina! Mommy baked some cookies! Come inside! Remember to wash your hands before eating!"

Zack barreled in first and slid into the bathroom. Miridia was floating upside down as she looked at them with a playful grin, moving into the kitchen to steal three of the cookies.
Lyric rolled her eyes and started to move them onto a plate so she could wash the pan.

Akron laughed. He turned to Lyric. "Hey, I'm gonna go out for a while. I'll be back sometime this evening, okay?" He leaned forward and kissed her cheek gently and left the mansion. Once he was out in the open, he smirked playfully to himself. What Lyric didn't know was that he had been saving up some money to buy her something that would change their life together forever. Akron chuckled softly and made his way over to a local Jared's Jewelry store.

" I have no porpuse." He said as he took a sip of the wine. "Before all of this started I suffered from depression. While I got tested by a doctor for it I didn't tell anyone about it. My problem I should be the one that had to deal with it. besides Philip and Mom could care less bout me, Brandon left home many years prior and Steven was the golden child who could do no wrong. All I was, was a boxer that no one really cared about." He took a breath. "Then I came here and thought. " Hey maybe I could lead these guys push through the elements together. Instead we found a safe shelter by another person. Then I fell in love." He took out an engagement ring. "And I broke her heart so many times that I don't know why she kept forgiving me. She deserves better." He took another breath. "Funny how Brandon figured out about my depression and attempted sucide looking like me. cause that's something I might have done if I was still around during that time." He looked at her. "So yeah kill me that's all I wish for at the moment."

"Poor child. There is so much I could do if you'd let me," Middie smiled like she actually cared and reached across the table to caress his face. She shook her head and looked at him, "turn off the neutralizer. And let's talk, I'm willing to do something for you if you do something for me".

he turned of the neturlizer and looked at her. He knew she was going to screw him over but for some odd reason he wanted to hear her out. "Go on." he said.

Middie smiled and a small bubble formed in her hand. She showed it to him, a diffrent scenario then the one in their world playing. It had all of his wishes come true, down to even his parents love, affection and worry that he had been taken away. She tilted her head and twirled it on her finger, "you destroy Miridia's mana room or even better is if you kill her and I'll give you everything".

Akron looked at the various ring choices. Finally, he pointed to one that caught his eye. A silver ring with a beautiful sparkling diamond on the top. "I'll take that one please. Man, my girlfriend will love this." He boxed it, and when the coast was clear, he sped off towards the mansion on a smooth stone slab. He entered the mansion and went to the kitchen. "Hey Lyric, I'm back." Akron kept the box hidden behind his back.

Lyric was at the counter with the kids. She had a cookie hanging from her mouth and smiled at him. Zack was crumbs almost everywhere while Miridia was back in her mana room. The glyph user offered Akron some of the treats as she cleaned up her son.

He shook his head and looked at Middie. "Alright." He said. He wanted this. If any of this happened then everything now wouldn't be happening. He wouldn't have to worry about the explosive bastard going beserk nor anything else. he could finally be at peace. "I'll do it."

"Now this won't work until you've completed our deal. Once that is done then just crush it in your hand and everything will be good," she put the orb in his palm and nodded. She stood up and grabbed her drink, walking to the door, "good luck".

Akron accepted a cookie and crunched it. It was indeed amazing. He smiled with satisfaction. Akron suddenly twined his fingers around Lyric's gently and called to the kids. "Mommy's gonna be back in a while, okay?" He smiled at Lyric and led her out of the mansion to the sightseeing cliff.

Joshua nodded and left the mansion. He made it back to Maddie's place and made his way to her study room. He turned on the neutralizer and just walked around.

Lyric followed him and squeezed his hand gently in her grip. She smiled as she watched the wildlife around her.
Miridia stood in her mana room looking it over. Zack pulled his sister into the room after they had finalized their cookies to see all of the flowers and plants she kept as generators.

Joshua walked into the Mana room. " Zack, Sabrina." he said " Go to your rooms. Uncle Joshua has to do something." He looked at Miridia. His eyes where hallow, his voice low as he stared at the witch.

Akron slipped the boxed ring into his pocket. He inhaled, then exhaled deeply. Then he began. "Ever since that day we went swimming in the pond, I've known I truly loved you. I guess I didn't want to show you until Fae's Siren song cut through. Since we've started our relationship that day, I realized that I honestly want to spend the rest of my life with you." Akron got down on one knee, practicing the common tradition of men. He pulled out the box and opened it. "So, I ask you humbly: Will you do me the honor of being my wife until our lives are through?"

Lyric froze and stared at him for a bit before tackling him to the ground and kissing him. She nodded her head and hugged him, "yes".
Miridia saw the looked and grew stone like in features. Shs waved the kids out of the room and stood tall as she looked at him, "so you gonna say anything"?
