If you're facing an opponent who has a clear advantage, without switching out, use a normal-type move to counter the attack that was apparently super effective. Moves like Sing, Protect, or any other move to stall the opponent's Pokemon would be ideal.
Now he knew. "Pyroar, Take Down, go!" Pyroar ran at the approaching Nincada, and blasted through its Scratch, knocking it to the wall. "Attaboy, Pyroar!"
