Backstory: Dan lived on Slateport her entire life. She went on sailing trips with her grandpa, her guardian, throughout her life. When this school noticed her knowledge, they were quick to accept her.

Jack is really determined and will stand up for his Pokemon and friends, but he has a secret soft spot. He knows a lot from Oak but isn’t really a nerd. He’s pretty friendly and is sometimes a bit too talkative. He’s very outgoing and energetic. Even if Jack himself gets insulted and feels bad, he usually feels bad but doesn’t show it.
Appearance:
He stands at exactly 5 feet, but is incredibley skinny. He only ways 80 pounds and is also slightly tanned all over. Jack wears a black sweater with yellow tips. The sweater also has a very light black Pokeball logo in the middle. He wears red and black glasses and has crimson eyes. Before he used to wear a black tank but now wears a black shirt. He has normal blue jeans and black Nikes. He has black hair, with a modern quiff haircut.
Likes:
Jack loves to do stuff outside, and he likes learning about Pokemon. He also has a secret love for sweets, but isn’t shy to admit it if someone finds out. Jack plays a lot with his Pokemon and likes to take care of them.
Dislikes:
He hates people that don’t like his Pokemon or find them gross. He also hates bullies and sour things.
Backstory:
Jack is from Viridian City, Kanto. When he was about 10, Professor Oak was in town. Jack begged his parents to let him meet the professor. Eventually, they let him go, and he used his bike to get to where Oak was. The professor had run out of Pokemon to give, but then remembered that Viridian Forest was nearby. He gave Jack 6 Pokeballs and a Pokedex, and told him to get a weak Pokemon from the forest, but to be careful. Jack went to the forest and found a Caterpie. He threw one Pokeball and caught him. Jack was going to show the Professor his Pokemon, but he had already left. So the boy went back to his house to show his new Pokemon to his parents. While they adored Caterpie, they were very mad at Jack for doing more than just talking to the professor. When he asked his parents if he could go on a journey since he had a Pokemon, they didn’t let him go. One year later passed and Jack and his dad were going fishing. The first thing that Jack actually caught while fishing was a magikarp, which he ordered his Caterpie to use String Shot on. The now immobilized Magikarp was grabbed by Jack, and he used one of the Pokeballs Oak gave him. The Pokeball broke, and then he told Caterpie to use Tackle a couple of times. Each time Magikarp was nearly thrown to the edge of the boat, but eventually got to the middle. Jack threw another Pokeball and the now weakened fish Pokemon got caught. Since then, Jack still wasn’t allowed to go on a journey, but he was allowed to visit Oak. Jack helped Oak with his studies, but didn’t capture anything. He learned a lot from him, and then one day Oak recommended a new school opening in Hoenn. Jack’s parents and the Professor talked about it, and his parents decided to buy a ticket for Jack to go to the school. His parents signed the form needed a couple days after June started.

Name: Aqua Bright
Age: 12
Gender: Female

Personality: Aqua is a calm and gentle spirit. Raised on her family's virtues in Pacifidlog Town, she never turns down someone in need of help and would take in injured Pokémon and heal them. She believes that everything and everyone can live in harmony with each other and works to achieve that, but dislikes confrontation of any kind and in battle prefers to focus on healing whoever she's battling with and outlasting her opponents. Due to the communal nature of Pacifidlog Town, Aqua has never battled on her own. During fights with other people, Aqua usually attempts to play peacemaker or just leaves if they aren't listening to her. Aqua does not carry Poké Balls, instead preferring to keep her partners "in the world". If she cannot see the Ocean, she begins to panic, but she has no fear of the water or aquatic Pokémon.

Appearance: Aqua stands at 4 feet 7 inches, making her around average height for her age. She is very thin and somewhat tanned, having lived her entire life on the sea. Somewhat muscular body. Often wears a light blue Tank Top and and Skirt, with a bathing suit underneath it. Wears sandals. Has somewhat long brown hair that she lets fall naturally.

Likes: Swimming, the ocean, water, taking care of people & Pokémon, the sound of the waves, meeting new Pokémon.

Dislikes: Confrontation, fighting, Pokémon battles, being away from the water, seeing Pokémon get hurt.

Backstory: Aqua was born in Pacifidlog Town and joined the community, learning to swim almost before she could walk. From a young age, she took a delight in helping others and would rescue Pokémon lost at sea before sending them home on the supply boats. At the age of 7, she discovered a Nincada in the water and nursed it back to health. The Nincada refused to leave her and became her first Partner. Not long after, she healed a Chinchou caught in a fishing net and formed a bond with it, gaining herself a second partner. As she grew older, Aqua preferred to stay out of Pokémon battles, using her Pokémon's strengths to keep each other from getting injured until whoever she was battling with could defeat the other Pokémon, and never battled alone. As she grew older, Aqua knew she wanted to be a Pokémon doctor, even if it meant leaving the sea behind. And as such, she set off on her journey to Slateport City...

Personality: Alvero is a shy person who finds it hard to initiate conversations with others, but he does manage to socialize if people start the conversations first. He's also caring for others and will support people who he thinks needs it. He finds it difficult to purposely be mean to others since he always feels guilt afterwards.
Appearance: He's short with a tanned complexion. His hair is black, short, and gelled back. He wears a plain blue T-shirt with black jeans and blue and white sneakers.
Likes: He likes Pokemon Breeders and peacefulness. He also likes Pokemon battles and playing Pokemon simulator games with his rival, Andrew.
Dislikes: He dislikes being mean to others or when other people are mean to others. He also dislikes any kind of hostility or having large groups of people's attention for long periods of time.
Backstory: Ever since he was a young boy, he's been best friends with a boy that lived in his neighborhood named Andrew. The two loved playing Pokemon battle simulator games and always wanted to actually own Pokemon of their own so they could experience real Pokemon battles. When the two turned 11 years old, they decided to go to Professor Oak and get their starter Pokemon and move to Hoenn to enroll in Slateport academy.

Personality: Andrew is a very confident and loud person. His confidence can also be called cocky since he thinks he's a elite when it comes to Pokemon battles. While he does have a good heart, he can be mean when he's comparing his Pokemon battling skills to another person.
Appearance: He's short just like his best friend, Alvero. He has clear skin and spiky brown hair. He wears a black tank top with a red at the arm holes and blue jeans and black sneakers.
Likes: He likes winning Pokemon battles and winning at pretty much almost anything else he does. He likes playing Pokemon simulator games with his rival, Alvero.
Dislikes: He dislikes losing, especially when it comes to Pokemon battles. He dislikes having to stay in one place for long periods of time.
Backstory: When he was a younger, he use to live in Pallet Town with his rival, Alvero. When the two met, they instantly became friends and enjoyed playing Pokemon battle simulator games. When the two became 11 years old, they got their starter Pokemon from Proessor Oak and convinced their parents to move to Hoenn so they could enroll in Slateport academy.

Personality: Lily is constantly rather tired, and is very pessimistic- though intelligent. She can be quite snappy and rude sometimes, and is very defensive of those she doesn’t know- though once you get to know her, and if she trusts you, she has the tendency to ramble. She has social anxiety, which makes her very paranoid. She's also a secret member of Team Skull. She is very analytical and smart, moves very quietly and has great logical thinking. She is extremely loyal to everyone she loves. But, she has bad morals and believes stealing is okay if you need it. She has additionally trained her Snivy to be just like her. She will act incredibly annoying if she believes she's right.
Appearance: Lily has pink-brown hair, pale skin and maroon eyes. She has quite a curvy frame, a small nose, and her eyes are strangely absent of any sparkle- except when she is happy. Her hair comes to a few inches below her shoulders. She wears a black tank top, dark grey ripped jeans, and has a Team Skull pendant which you can hardly see.
Likes: Her Snivy Serpentine, Watermelon, peach pink (though keeps that a secret), Stealing
Dislikes: Goody-two-shoes, people messing with her,the colour purple
Backstory: She is a young member of Team Skull, and has pretty bad morals. Her entire family are Team Skull members, and she descends from Po Town. She has a sort of affinity for stealing because her family was so poor, and as a result moves very quietly. Though, all her life she has dreamt of something more, and act acceptably.

History: Lily stole and egg from a Pokémon Daycare, and inside happened to be this Snivy. Serpentine, as Lily named her, became close trusted friends with Lily and became a theif just like her owner. Overall, Serpentine and Lily are very, very similar.
Personality: Serpentine is sort of neurotic and will panic if anything goes off track. She is very panicky in this situation, due to this.

Personality: An optimistic boy who has dreams of being at the top, but isn’t very good at it. His dreams lead to him being vulnerable to almost anything. He thinks he’s normal, but knows there is no such thing as normal. At least, not in his ideas.
Appearance: He has black hair in some sort of quiff, with narrow but friendly eyes. He wears an unzipped dark grey hoodie, with a mudkip shirt underneath. He always wears grey shorts, whatever the weather. His shoes are the oldest shoes ever, linking back to when he was 8.
Likes: Pretty much everything.
Dislikes: Most of the classic school subjects e.g English, Maths etc.
Backstory: He is basically a normal pokemon-obsessed kid who lived in Littleroot town, which is where he got his pokemon, from Professor Birch.

Appearance: Connor has snow white hair, slightly tanned skin, black and purple sweater with a green t-shirt underneath, green bermuda shorts, and a PokeGear on his left wrist.

Backstory: Connor was born and raised in Ecruteak City, Johto. His father gave him his first Pokemon, Rhyhorn, when he was 10 years old. One year later, Connor entered a Bug Catching Contest in National Park, where he caught his Scyther using his Rhyhorn. After 3 years of studying with his father and Morty, the Ecruteak City Gym Leader, he decided to enter the Slateport Academy in Hoenn to prepare for his journey.

Appearance: Vee stands at 4'7 feet tall, changes his hair color often, but right now it's white. He wears a black hoodie with matching black jeans, and also has a white t-shirt underneath. His skin is as pale as the moon because he doesn't like the sun.

Backstory: Vee grew up in Slateport City, where he learned to like music. One day, he left Slateport to catch a pokemon and encountered a Zigzagoon. He caught the Zigzagoon and named him Ziggy. Naturally, since he lived in Slateport, he figured out about the academy and they invited him.

Backstory: His family own the hoenn day-care (although im going to call it a farm as its more realistic and sounds like a proper job) so he was raised around many different pokemon. His father taught him to ride pokemon (because you need to keep up with herds) while his mother taught him the rights and wrongs of the world. He was accepted into the school as he would be great at the breeding studies portion of school

Personality: At first, it’s evident that Bridget is shy and hesitant; she isn’t a very big fan of overwhelming crowds/parties, and prefers smaller, less stressful groups to hang out with. However, once you eventually get to know her, she may become the most extroverted, most kind, and caring girl you know with a sense of humor. Being a rather neutral presence, she likes to do her best to look at things from a non-bias point of view before making decisions.When her friends or her Pokemon are having a kerfuffle, Bridget is the most likely to step in and help calm down the situation! This habit has rubbed off onto her Pokemon partner, Lopunny (Bonnie), as she too likes to help ease rising tensions, at least for Bridget’s sake.
It’s also important to note that she gets her feelings hurt very easily. She ain’t a tough cookie. Because of this, what others say to her has a pretty big impact on how she feels, especially about herself. But overall, Bridget is a kind, creative, and caring girl who can sometimes let her emotions get the best of her.

Backstory: On a blustery cold night, it was Jubilife City where Bridget was born to Fern and Jasper Forst. Fern and Jasper were in their early twenties when they had their first child, and regrettably, they were not responsible nor were they ready for parenthood. During the first two years of Bridget’s life, it was full of neglect, both intentional and unintentional. They would leave her unsupervised for hours while they were at a party, or wouldn’t give her proper nutrition. At times, they would simply let her cry until she stopped crying on her own.
It was when Bridget’s grandmother came to visit that her life would change for the better. Seeing the awful treatment of the child, her grandmother got enraged at her own daughter and after winning an argument, Bridget was taken away from the neglect of her parents to live with her grandparents (both florists) in Floaroma Town to the north. Now living in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature instead of in a city apartment, Bridget, affectionately nicknamed Birdie by her grandmother, began to grow up and get the love and attention she needed to flourish. Because of the previous abuse at the hands of her parents, and once she was old enough to fully comprehend what was going on, she sought comfort in food which led to her weight increasing to the point that she was pretty chubby, and she never aimed to get healthy, mostly because her grandparents never made her. Even when she started school at age 5, and kids called her names for her weight and avoided her, she simply ate food to get rid of those negative feelings.
It was only a year or so later when she was called annoying for the first time when her mother came to visit her. This caused her to not be as open and more quiet, thinking that would be the only way she could “stop being annoying”. Bridget is still rather quiet and reluctant to speak to this day. At age 9, this girl met her first Pokemon and partner, Buneary. With her grandparents in the nearby flower fields, Bridget found an injured Pokemon when helping out with finding pretty sproutlings. Immediately she asked her grandmother if they could take the Buneary to the Pokemon Center, and her grandmother agreed. Over the course of this very important afternoon, Bridget and Buneary, who she started calling Bonnie, grew close over the experience they shared, and after convincing her grandparents, they helped her catch this Pokemon. Buneary was Bridget’s first real friend, and they are so close that Buneary rarely ever went into her Pokeball.
At age 11, Bridget decided to start her journey. Before she left, though, her grandmother wanted to test her to see if she was truly ready by winning in battle.
With her Buneary, she fought valiantly against her grandmother, and managed to win by a hair. As a gift, her grandmother gave her the family heirloom, which was a megastone key. Wearing it on her headband as a symbol of pride, she set off to seek new friends and Pokemon, and maybe learn more about herself as well.

She isn't self centred whatsoever and thinks less of herself, and thus doesn't care what people think about her. She isn't the smartest of pupils, but she will always try her best (Without showing it of course)

Backstory: Ariana came from quite a poor family, so she wasn't given much as she grew up, but was completely fine. Her first pokemon was her buneary (sorry didn't realise someone else had one :/) which professor rowan gave her while she was in her home town , twinleaf town, in sinnoh. The main reason shes extremely shy is that at her old school in sinnoh, she was constantly bullied and just hid in the shadows.
