Before Ventus could hesitate, he told Voltage to return and sent Eevee out onto the battlefield without noticing that she took damage from the Bulbasaur. "You're up, Eevee!" Said Ventus. "You got Tackle and Ember. Let's use our moves wisely. Use Tackle!" Eevee then used Tackle on Leaf's Caterpie.

Drake kept walking to Pewter City, clearly not wanting to socialize with anyone any longer, but he felt suspicious that his Pichu was hiding from him. Why? All he did was attempt to raise her, with compassion and for battling. Why was that wrong?

Natalia was busy roaming around before entering Pewter City, behind Drake. It was time to battle Brock. Her Pokemon were a little advanced, but that was okay. Gym Leaders in Kanto usually allow others to fight them out of order and have Pokemon to in varying amounts of strength for some such occasion.

Chu was busy watching the battle happen before her. She started getting that itch to battle. She saw a Riolu watching it too, but this Riolu seemed too inexperienced. She'll just have to wait. She watched the battle with great interest. Being atop Ventus's shoulder this entire time felt nice, and she got an amazing view of the battle.

Slowly, Hanako began to make her way through the tall grass of Viridian Forest. The grass came up to her waist, and Hanako walked holding her arms to her chest. She couldn't help but to think back to the warnings her mother gave her about playing on Route 11 and Route 6. Stay out of the tall grass, or you could stumble across a wild Pokemon that could attack you. Hanako had her own Pokemon to defend herself, but in truth she wasn't feeling to confident in using them. Her Pokemon were water types! Weren't forests where grass types usually gathered? Her Pokemon would just end up getting hurt!

The sound of something darting through the grass behind her made Hanako freeze. Hanako was able to see the grass move as some Pokemon Hanako was unable to make out ran by her. The dark haired girl stumbled back, nearly falling into the grass. At the last moment, she regained her footing. Just then, another Pokemon Hanako was unable to see darted by her in the grass. Beginning to panic, Hanako began to move again. Her pace grew faster and faster as her panic grew. Every rustle of grass became in Hanako's mind a Pokemon ready to jump out and attack her. Hanako practically ran through the grass for a few more moments, when there was suddenly a loud buzzing sound. An insect Pokemon? There was a sudden shadow as something flew over Hanako, making her trip. The girl fell...

... But not into tall grass. Unexpectedly, Hanako fell into a clearing. Looking up, Hanako was able to see that she had pretty much made it out of Viridian Forest. Slowly rising back to her feet, Hanako sniffed and wiped away the tears that had fallen down her face as she had been panicking. Still trying to recover from that quite scary experience, Hanako sniffed and wiped her face again before holding herself and walking into Pewter City.

Blaze saw the Pichu looking over the Riolu like she wants to fight but knew the Riolu was inexperienced and decided to be her opponent, "Char-Charmander-Char-Char!("Hey Pichu why not battle me since I am itching for a fight right now and I bet you are as well!")" he yelled as he got into an attacking position away from the others but enough for Pichu and him to battle. Mitchell saw what was happening with Blaze and saw he was ready to battle the Pichu on Ventus' shoulder and decided not to interfere and looked back at the battle, "So she had brung out her Caterpie, not the best choice but looks can be deceiving and it looks like Ventus' Eevee is a bit damaged as well from the Bulbasaur so it is anyone's match now," he said quietly as he continued to pet the Vulpix but Aerial was getting a bit jealous but knew that she will get the same treatment soon and decided to keep watch on Riolu, "Pidgey.("Hey why not join my trainer's team because I am sure he will take care of you.")" she said as she her right wing around the Riolu.

The tackle landed and affected Caterpie. She was weak but endured the hit, and Leaf ordered to Caterpie to use Tackle too. Then, Caterpie charged onto the opposing Eevee to perform a Tackle.

"Dodge the attack, Eevee!" Said Ventus, and Eevee went to the side to avoid the attack. "Now, do that final take down move! Use Ember!" Said Ventus. Eevee finally listened to Ventus and used Ember on Leaf's Caterpie.

"Rio? Riolu!" ("Team? Team!") He exclaimed, as he was very happy that someone would take care of him as he nodded to accept the invitation . As he looked at the Pidgey with a smile. "Riolu! Riolu!" ("Care! Care!")

She concentrated all her forces and began covering her body with silk strings, until she was completely covered in a cocoon. A metamorphosis ocurred. The strings fell out of the Pokémon´s body, but she was different. She had become a Metapod.

"Impossible!" Said Ventus. "Caterpie evolved into Metapod!? Whatever, we'll fight back with ease. Eevee, use tackle to bring it home!" Eevee then used Tackle on Metapod. Squirtle surprised that Pichu enjoyed Ventus' shoulder.

Metapod had spent a lot of energy to evolve, and that tackle knocked her out. Metapod had fainted, and Leaf returned her to the Poké Ball. Leaf had lost the battle, but she was not sad. Because, at least, her Caterpie had evolved. "See you later", said Leaf to the other trainer, before heading to Pewter City.

Before Ventus could do anything he returned Eevee back in her Poke Ball, unable to move Ventus could not believe he won his second Pokemon battle. Paralyzed with pride, he began to faint on the ground. Ventus has never won before in his life.

Chu hopped off of Ventus's shoulder before he fell over and just sighed before heading over to Charmander, standing a bit of a ways away. <Alright. Want to fight me? You go first.>

She always did this tactic. Always. She had seen how Charmander worked, and she was wanting to show how strong she actually was. She got on all fours and got ready, crackling was heard from her cheek pouches.

Ventus then shook his head to gain his instinct. Then he went back up on his feet to watch Pichu and Charmander fight. "Pichu doesn't have a master. But it can fight without problems. Can it?" Said Ventus to himself.

Mitchell saw the Pichu was ready to fight his Charmander and decided to see how well Blaze would do on his own, "It probably can fight on its own," Mitchell said putting the Vulpix next to him. Blaze had his claws out and decided to charge at the Pichu, "Char!("Here I come!")" said Blaze as he prepared to do a Scratch attack but then turned around with his tail turning hard as steel, "Char!("Iron Tail")" he roared as he swiped his tail at Chu.

Chu tensed up, watching for any subtle movements. Training that she had gone through for years until she left her trainer. Watching for any subtle changes in Blaze's charge. She saw the claws and waited until he got close. That was when he changed tactics.

But it wasn't fast enough. A metallic tail swung.

And missed.

Chu was now in the air above Blaze, her own tail becoming metallic as she somersaulted in the air above him, raking the Iron Tail downwards towards Blaze's forehead.

The attack hits Blaze on the forehead and was dazed a bit but quickly shook his head fired an Ember at Chu. Mitchell saw that Chu was faster than Blaze and knew that this battle would go to Chu if Blaze didn't do something quick, "Blaze is having trouble against Pichu but why is it so fast and strong? Pichu's aren't suppose to be that powerful," said Mitchell to himself as he rubbed the top of Aerial's head making Aerial coo in response.

Chu, having known that any opponent would try to attack while she was in the air for a second or two, pivoted around once she landed and used Thunderbolt on the embers spat at her to make them explode pathetically. She smirked as she got ready for one of her moves, her body cloaked in electricity as she charged at Blaze with reckless abandon.

Volt Tackle.

Blaze saw Chu charging at him in a Volt Tackle but had an idea, "Char!("Iron Tail!")" he said as he swung his metallic tail at her to hit her while she was running at him in time. Mitchell knew what Blaze was thinking and decided to have that idea stuck in his strategy while battling foes with Flame Charge and Volt Tackle.

Chu got smacked by the Iron Tail and fell to the side. She rolled over several times before stopping and getting up. She looked quite hurt already due to the recoil and the attack, but she looked relatively energized to fight. She then let loose an arcing blast of Thunderbolt.

Blaze saw the Thunderbolt and knew that if that hit him he would be done for so he fired a full power Ember towards the Thunderbolt cancelling both attacks and used Smokescreen to cover the whole area in smoke, "Charmander-Char!("Try and find me now you rat!")" said Blaze in the smoke trying to taunt Chu into doing something reckless and also getting ready to do lots of Scratch attacks on her when she enters the smoke.

Ventus watched the battle as Pichu and Charmander fight each during the match. Squirtle, Voltage, and Eevee weren't even paying attention to the battle when they were playing together.

Meanwhile, Leaf´ s team finally arrived to Pewter City. "A small step to a girl, a great jump to a Pokémon Trainer", she said. While Leaf and her Pokémon (she was carrying Metapod) were walking, the Pokémon were chatting with each other. "There is actually a Gym in this city?" Basaur asked. "Yes, and its leader, Brock, uses rock-types", Pidgey answered. But first, they needed to heal the Pokémon at the Pokémon Center.

Chu watched as the smoke filled the area and she kept on high alert. She heard Char taunt at her but she kept her vigil. One of the things she was taught when under Drake was to not let the foe get to them. Granted, she was born to battle and to be good at it too, not having the skills for battling would put her in a bit of a tizzy.

She closed her eyes and listened with her ears, trying to hear footsteps, the sound of a flame flickering and moving, anything. Her ears twitched as she searched for him, and she finally thought she heard him.

She sent off a Thunderbolt in the direction of the sound she heard, trying to flush him out. The arcing electricity went through the smoke, dispersing some of it away from the lightning attack.

Ventus got his journal out of his backpack and studied Pichu's moves without distracting Pichu. "Normally, Pichu takes damage by electrocuting themselves. But this Pichu has the guts to make a comeback. What is Pichu's name anyway?" Said Ventus to himself.

Blaze moved away before the Thunderbolt could hit him and saw that part of the smoke had dispersed so he had to act quickly now, *This Pichu is really giving me a hard time but I wont lose so easily now to try a Scratch, Iron Tail combo*, thought Blaze as he quietly sneaked behind Chu and then charged forward with his claws ready for a Scratch attack and his tail turning metallic to deal lots of damage to her.

Chu was also getting ready. Her ears picked up movement as her attack ceased and she listened around for more. She found the sound got closer to her from behind. Typical. She stood up, her fists and feet glowed with pure energy while her tail became metallic. She squeezed her cheeks and covered her body in electricity.

She immediately turned around and delivering a Mega Punch, which will be followed by another Mega Punch, an Iron Tail, and two Mega Kicks. Her attacks were covered in electricity, making it potent.

Having finally made it Pewter City, Hanako took a moment to try to calm herself down. That had probably been the scariest experience she had ever had. What had she been thinking? She had thought she had been old enough to make this small trip, this small adventure, but was she really? Sniffing again and wiping away the last of her tears, Hanako slowly walked down the streets of the Stone Gray City. She fidgeted with her hands, looking around nervously at the other people on the street. She needed to calm down. Just calm down.

It was about then she noticed a rather welcoming sight. Not too far away in the middle of town, there was a small green space where flowers bloomed. Taking a breath, Hanako climbed the stairs to the small green space and sat down. To help calm herself, she knelt down and released her two Pokemon from their Pokeballs. In a flash of light, the two rather unusual Pokemon appeared. The first one was a small, brown, shellfish like Pokemon. Two red glowing red eyes peeked out from underneath it's shell. It was a Kabuto named Kabo. The second one appeared to be hiding inside a spiral shell. After a moment, two eyes and a dozen or so small blue tentacles cautiously peeked out of the spiral shell. Hanako couldn't help but a small giggle at her Omanyte's cautious antics.

"It's okay Omar. I'm right here." Hanako said, petting her Pokemon. Sensing something wrong, Kabo made a concerned clicking sound as he tried to climb up his trainer. Hanako smiled once again, picking up Kabo and placing the Kabuto on her head. "Don't worry, Kabo. I'm fine."
From up on this elevated green space, Hanako actually had a good view on the streets of Pewter City. There were some rather interesting people walking about today. She watched as a teenage boy not much older than her with black hair strode through the street with a purpose. He seemed to have a lot on his mind. Not far behind him, a woman with very short, white hair also walked. While Hanako was a distance away, she could tell that this woman had an air of determination around her.

The next person Hanako saw was... well, rather unusual. It seemed to be another girl, maybe around Hanako's age. The unusual thing was that she was walking with a ton of Pokemon around her. It almost looked like a Disney princess with the number of Pokemon she had around her. She was holding a Metapod, with a Bulbasaur, a Pidgey, a Nidoran... the girl looked like a regular Pokemon trainer!

Blaze was not ready for Chu to turn around at him and was hit by the attacks that were thrown at him until he was hit so hard he went flying out of the smoke and landed on his back with spirals in his eyes. Mitchell saw Blaze fly out of the smoke and quickly got up to go hep Blaze with Aerial flying next to him, "Blaze are you alright!" asked a worried Mitchell, "Char...("I'm alright...")" said Blaze weakly as his trainer picked him up gently and decided to rest while the smoke cleared up.

The smoke cleared afterwards, showing a Pichu heaving with her fists and feet still glowing and her tail still metallic with her body covered in her electricity. Something primal was in her eyes - something rooted deep inside her to act out in a brutal fashion. She realized she was still exerting herself and immediately stopped her attacks, her body fading back to it's original glow, which wasn't much.

When she looked back at Blaze, she felt kind of bad. She ran up to him and then looked around for something to help. That's when she found a Berry bush. She ran and jumped in and pulled out several Sitrus Berries and found a Revival Herb in the center of the Berry bush. She then ran back to Mitchell, the items in her mouth as she set them in front of him. She was expecting him to make something out of this.

Ventus dropped his journal as he saw Pichu defeated Charmander with his his own two eyes. "At this rate, Pichu will cut down through anything and everything!" Said Ventus.

Chu looked over at Ventus and just shook her head. She put her palms on the ground and patted the earth. In this kind of charade, she also acted in punching herself and "knocking" herself out before jumping back up again. She then decided to make the soup herself.

She dug a little hole and pointed at Squirtle and then at the hole while squeaking. <Fill it, please.>

She then also remembered her name and that she hadn't told anyone. <Oh, and my name is Chu, Squirtle. Is he able to understand you when you tell him my name?>

"Squir-squirtle...("I'll fill it in for you. And it's nice to meet you Chu. And my master isn't able to understand you when you tell him your name because we only speak in Poke speech.")" Said Squirtle filling up the hole with water.

Darn, and she didn't know how to spell either. Well, she just had to try. She looked over at Ventus and did the same charade of the ground hitting her in the face and knocking her out. That's when it dawned on her. She can say her name, it just took effort. She pointed at herself and struggled out a "Ch-Chu...."

Feeling proud of herself, she dug another little hole where she ground down the Revival Herb and then threw the bits and pieces in the water. She then squeezed the Sitrus Berry juice into the water and ate the skins while also using a Rock to smash the berries and throwing them in there. She looked around for another ingredient and found Leppa Berries. She hurriedly grabbed them and either crushed or squeezed them into the soup and ate their skins. Now the soup was almost ready and just needed to be heated up and stirred before it can be eaten. She pointed at Blaze's tail and then patted the ground next to the earthy bowl before getting a stick and stirring the mixture.

While Leaf was heading to the Pokemon Center, another girl came across her way. She had a Kabuto on her head. "Hello there, glad to meet you" Leaf said. She explained who she was: Leaf from Pallet Town, who dreamed to be a Pokémon Master like the Legendary Trainer Red was. She also presented her Pokémon: the female Metapod, the male Pidgey (her first Pokémon) and Basaur, the male Bulbasaur. "Hey, is that thing a Kabuto?" Basaur asked. "Yes, Kabuto the Shellfish Pokémon, type Rock/Water, it is a very rare Pokémon" Pidgey answered. And as usually, Leaf wanted to battle that Trainer.

"Chu?" Asked Ventus as he pointed his finger to Chu. "Your name is Chu?" Ventus took a brief moment to know her name. Of course, it would be impossible to not remember who she is.

Mitchell saw Chu run towards the bush and came out with several berries and a Revival Herb and knew that she felt bad for Blaze and wanted to help, so he did what she wanted him to do and put Blaze's tail near the earthy bowl to let it heat it up. After it was stirred and boiled, Mitchell quickly went and got a bowl and spoon for Blaze and filled the bowl with the soup and fed it to Blaze gently. Blaze ate it, his strength came back fully and was happily jumping up and down, "Char-Char!("Thanks Mitchell your the best trainer ever!")" Blaze charred, "Blaze I think you should say thanks to Chu as well since she was the one that made the soup for you and told me what to do to help," Mitchell said, after looking at Chu closely and saw the difference between female Pichus and their male counterparts to make sure of her gender, "Char-Char.("Thanks Chu for helping me your a great friend you know.")" said Blaze rubbing the back of his head.

Chu smiled and cheered as she was thanked. She squeaked happily, thankful that Blaze was okay. She then pointed to herself and said "Chu" before scratching the back of her head when Blaze complimented her on being a good friend.

Her feminine features were very hard to discern, but her overall body height, being eight inches instead of a foot, let people know she was the runt of the litter. But she had a more soft rounded out face than the Male's slightly more chubby and angular face, and her body was more slim than rounded. There was also a tiny little notch in her tail, but that was hard to see due to her fur, and will really be seen if she evolved. And, of course, her enlarged cheek pouches, which wasn't a gender thing, but it showed that she had great control of her electricity and that she had a different ability than Static. It was Lightning Rod.

She then motioned for everyone to follow her as she ran off to the exit of Viridian Forest, wanting to get out of here.

That's when she saw another Pikachu, looking at her funny. She looked back and saw that the Pikachu was bigger than most - being one foot six instead of one foot four - and he charged at her. She let out a Disarming Voice, a cry of pure emotional heart tugging as it hit the Pikachu straight on. The Pikachu, covering his ears, tried to use Thunder Shock, but the electricity immediately arced towards Pichu's cheeks, leaving her relatively undamaged. Chu giggled before using a Thunderbolt, sending the now powered up electricity at the Pikachu and pushing it away. Giggling, the excess electricity escaped out of her tail and into the ground as she set her tail on the earth.

She then looked back at the others and motioned for them to keep following as she exited the Viridian Forest.

Mitchell packed up his stuff and returned Blaze and Aerial to their balls and went to follow Chu and after seeing her fight off the Pikachu he was impressed but continued following Chu after giving the Pikachu an Oran Berry. Mitchell came out of the forest following Chu and saw Pewter City and quickly went to the Poke Centre to heal his Pokémon up and signing up for the Pokémon League. After he healed up his Pokémon he decided to head to the gym to get his first gym badge but didn't know where to look so he decided to walk around a bit and ask for directions.

Ventus picked up some berries to grab the female Pikachu's attention. Carefully, he followed Chu, and Mitchell out of the woods and tripped over onto the Pewter City concrete floor face first. "I need to stop going super fast." Said Ventus who's face was covered in tiny rock particles. After he got back up, he went to the Pokemon center to heal his Pokemon team. "Thanks for healing my team." Said Ventus towards the Pokemon center lady. And he went to the PokeMart to buy some essentials. After that he went to find the Pokemon gym as he used his map to find one Pokemon gym.
