Open Pokemon Nursery

The Helioptile went to Razi as he said, "Uhh... so everyone's going. Oh my, I don't see our trainers yet. Hmm, if they don't come later, well should we go to your house? I know how to get in if they don't come, it's pretty easy."
Razi replied as he saw Starkite leave with his trainer, "Sure, and well... I suppose that we should eat right? I'm starting to feel better thanks to you and everyone... thank you."

The Helioptile smiled as Razi gave a brief hug, before they realized that their trainers aren't coming anytime soon. Razi said to the Helioptile, "So, our trainers aren't coming soon, I suppose we might have to sneak out if the nurse won't let us. Also, umm... what's your name by the way, I kinda forgot, and I'm Razi."
The Helioptile replied to him, "Well, I'm Hector, and it might be time for us to walk to your house. It shouldn't be too far, but I'm kinda worried about the nurse if they won't let us."

Razi thought to himself, "Hmm, should we just go off alone, or wait? Decisions, decisions... oh they're so hard to pick." Hector walked to Clay and said while he patted him, "You alright? Look I know you're a little frightened here, but try to relax. I'm also scared, since I have to take my supplement shots." Razi went over to Hector and looked around to see if any trainers are there.

Clay looked around to see if his trainer was here. He waited 'till he was one of the last Pokemon left and yet no one came to pick him up. Clay got depressed at the thought of his trainer abandoning him at the Nursery. After Hector talked to Clay, Clay slowly and nervously approached Hector and said, "Hey, I d-don't think my tr-trainers coming, is it okay to stay with you for today?" Clay asked.

(OOC: I'm going to be taking the SAT, so I'm going to be away for some time. Anyway, good luck.)

Hector said, "Yeah sure, we're going to Razi's place here. Our trainers aren't coming anytime soon." He smiled at him, as Razi stood next to him. He said while his aura returned back to normal, "Well, I'm going to head over to my place. It's a two story house and it's hard to miss the red roofing on it. I've always gotten snacks and other stuff in case if hunger becomes a problem. Shall we get going now?"

Cosmi sighed watching the others leave, she would never get that for a long while .... going home sounded nice but it was going to happen till her trainer came back from there holiday

"Sparkle!"

Sparkle's ears pricked up when she heard her name being called. She cried for her trainer's mummy, but it only came out to the human as, "Plusle, plus, plus!"

The woman picked Sparkle up, and the little plusle nuzzled her cheek as she was carried away.

"Bye guys! See you tomorrow! We'll all work on our attacks together then!"

And then, Sparkle went home to Ella, who hugged her tightly as they slept together that night.

The very next day, Sparkle was dropped back at the nursery, and today, instead of playing by herself, she went to look for Cosmi, and Lyle, her new friends...

Cosmi was in a small bed, curled up and unsure what to do now her friends had been gone, she knew she'd come back but she was bored and lonely and a lot quieter now the sugar had left her system completely from before

"Yeah let's go!" Clay said. Clay cheered up because he realised that was wrong and it was his thoughts that he was scared of. So Clay went home with Hector and Razi and spent the night there. Clay really enjoyed himself with them and felt a lot more comfortable with other Pokemon because of that. The next day, Clay got to Nursery before Hector and Razi, so Clay waited for them by the sandbox.

Razi and Hector both went to the Nursery after they had a little snack, as they closed the door and Hector locked it by using his frills. They both walked together, as Razi said, "Huh, guess Clay already left to the Nursery already. I still haven't seen our trainers, something just isn't right."
Hector replied, "Yeah... I have a feeling that something bad might be going on. Let's keep our guard up."

They both got to the Nursery a little later, as they went outside and saw Clay by the sandbox. Razi said to him as he walked with Hector, "Well, guess someone beated us here."
Hector giggled and replied to him, "Yeah, he's pretty quick for getting ready. I was still out cold I think when Razi tried to gently shake me awake."

Cosmi saw Clay by the sandbox and looked at him curiously, she was unsure if she should say hi or not so stayed where she was, keeping quiet. She saw another two pokemon meet him so decided to stay alone, unsure if she'd be welcome by any of them

Sparkle bounded over to Cosmi, eyes bright and plus-shaped tail bobbing about as always.

"I'm up and ready to train! Today, I'll learn spark for sure," she squeaked confidently, "Shall we go over by the trees, then?"

She was surprised as her friend jumped over but grinned and nodded, ecstatic (take it or leave it as a pun)

"Alright!let's do this then !" she said happily, so happy to help someone train "maybe we could even do a little battle with our first moves" she chuckled softly

"Wow, a battle?" Sparkle chirruped, "Hey, that's a great idea! If Ella's gonna be the champion,then I have to become a top-class battler!"

The little Plusle thought about trying to learn spark again, but then, a slightly different idea came into her head. She'd never seen a psychic type battle before, so...

"Hey, why don't you show me some of your moves?" Sparkle suggested.

"Hey guys!" Clay said to Hector and Razi. "What do you wanna do today?" Clay asked in an intriguing tone. Clay started to get excited and started to run around in circles in the sandbox, and was in a very playful mood.

Cosmi nodded "yeah! and if I'm going to be a great meowstic like my mum I have to train hard too! and battling is a great way to get exp"

Cosmi was surprised at the question and thought "O-ok ... I have a few moves: scratch,leer,covet , which I'm practicing more, and confusion"
she smiled softly "confusion is my only psychic move so far but then I'll get light screen and psybeam" she said cheerfully at Sparkle "which one do you want to see first?"

Hector replied to Clay while rubbing his frills, "I honestly don't know what to do today. I have to umm... uhh... what was I gonna say?"
Razi patted him on the back, as he said to him in a calm tone, "Go on, say it... hiding it isn't gonna really help."

Hector didn't want to tell Clay that he had to get his supplement injections, knowing that the nurse is still looking for him. He looked worried, as he hid in the sandbox while Razi chuckled and said, "Sometimes, he can get a bit silly at times. He needs to get some shots since he has to take his supplements due to not being able to eat much."

"I wanna see confusion first!" Sparkle said after a second or two of contemplation. She'd seen confusion be used by psychic pokemon on T.V, when she was home with Ella. She really wanted to see it in real life; it seemed like such a cool move to use! In fact, Sparkle kind of wished that she was a psychic-type, so that she could learn it...

Cosmi nodded at sparkle and breathed out "Ok ..... just remember I'm only getting the hang of it ,luckily being a psychic pokemon myself it does come more naturally" she smiled almost with confidence before going into a relaxed stance, her eyes concentrated and she sent out the pink and purple rings to make it seem like a single form, with no target in front of it, it soon dissipated but she was happy with how it looked.

"as I'm sure you know that would of confused an enemy and possibly made them hit themselves which is always useful in battle if your going against a strong opponent" she chirruped softly

Clay looked at Hector, sympathising and relating to how he felt because that's similar to how he felt yesterday but with everyone rather than a needle. "I had to take an injection once, it wasn't that bad. It was because I talked to someone whilst it happened, and they did it without me realising." Clay said. "Should we try that?" Clay suggested.

 

[Shiny Blue Gardevoir]

"Wow, cool!" Sparkle cried, "I bet that took lots of practice to master!"

The plusle assumed a wide legged battle stance in front of a tree. "Now, it's my turn! I've been practicing my spark lots and lots since last night, and now, I think I've got it!"

Electrical pulses flowed through Sparkle's body, and then into her paws. They started to hurt a bit as they got stronger, but she powered through it, until she had a decent sized ball of red electricity.

She threw it at the tree. It didn't do very much damage to the tree, but at least it worked! She could successfully use the move spark.

"Next, I wanna learn thunderbolt!" Sparkle squeaked.

Hector replied as he looked frightened, "I don't know... I have a bad feeling that I might get put on a bed with a bottle while everyone laughs at me..."
Razi hid a chuckle, as he said to Hector, "It's alright buddy, sometimes you just have to try to face your fears. I know it might seem a lot, since it does tend to hurt for you."

Hector looked teary eyed, as he saw the nurse coming to the playground. He quickly hid in the sandbox again, as Razi said, "Okay... maybe he's gonna need a lot more work on this. Let's just hope this doesn't go like how it went last time."

Comsi smiled in thanks at Sparkle "yeah it took a lot of time for me to learn that one, mum helped me with it before she went with my trainer"
The espurr looked at Sparkle as she used her move and she gave a cheer and applaud as she hit the tree "alright! that was so good!" she was beaming, excited and proud for her friend "you'll have to keep practicing that to become properly good at it butt hat was so cool! I always loved electric moves so that was awesome" she was almost hopping in excitement

"Well... I hurt my head really badly yesterday and couldn't deal with the pain I was going through and wouldn't stop crying, but no one did. I had the same thoughts as you did yesterday but I was wrong, and you should realise that." Clay explained. Phanpy tried to start on his hind two feet and pose due to being proud of what he said. However, he lost balance and fell on his butt.

Razi helped Clay up after he fell, as Hector still hid in the sandbox hoping the nurse wouldn't notice him. However, his crying made him stand out, as the sound attracted her. Razi saw her going to him, as Hector gulped and quickly got up, realizing that the nurse had detected him.

His heart was beating like an overcharged machine, as he quickly cried and ran to Sparkle! He said while his face was flooded with tears, "H- hide me! S- she's h- here!" Razi watched over Clay while he looked at Hector, who was terrified now.

 

[Shiny Blue Gardevoir]

"Yeah, I wanna make my spark really powerful, and then, I wanna learn even more powerful electric moves," Sparkle replied, "I saw a really strong electivire use thunderpunch on tv once. When I get bigger, I wanna learn that too! It'd be so cool!"

A happiny came by, and butted in. "Thunderpunch, you say? How violent!"

Reason for being at the nursery: She is being sent to the nursery until she is old enough to train as a service pokemon, so that she learns to make friends with other pokemon. When she grows up, she will be given to a trainer with chronic pain, whom she must care for.

Clay stared at Hector run off and then looked back at Raze. "Should we um... go after him?" Clay asked not knowing what to do in the situation and whether or not to help or stay out of it. Clay stood on all fours again. Clay looked at the tree remembering what it was like when he was hiding behind it.

Cosmi smiled "I bet you'll be the best plusle int he world" she grinned happily before looking at the happiny

"H-hello" she went back into her shy mode and stood back a little,nervous "w-well th- that's .... not the point we want to battle so ... a powerful move would be good for Sparkle"

Hector saw the nurse coming towards him, as he tried to think of a way to elude her. He knew that she would have caught him eventually, but he tried his hardest to delay the inevitable. Razi quickly went to Hector and said, "Look buddy, you can't keep delaying this. Sooner or later you're gonna have to take it, so why not just do it now?"
Hector replied while the nurse came closer to him, "I'd rather book it to forever if I could... those needles hurt you know! I don't want to be crying and drinking a bottle while everyone laughs at me!"

"You and I are definitely gonna battle someday when we're grown up," Sparkle agreed.

She turned to the offending happiny, pouting. "Yeah! You better watch out, cuz I'm gonna be the roughest, toughest plusle in the world!" She squeaked.

The happiny stuck her nose right up, "When I grow up, I'm going to care for a chronically ill human, unlike you ruffians!"

"Chro-nic? Ruffian?" Sparkle had never heard those words in her life.

"It means, I'll look after a human with pain that never, ever goes away," the happiny said proudly.

Cosmi suddenly scowled, she did not like this happiny "battling is something to be porud of, it's how we grow strong how we evolve and bond with the people around us. It's lovely to know you're going to look after someone but you wont get anywhere acting like that." her fur had puffed up and she had got very defensive especially with how the happiny was acting around the only true friend she had here "go to the nurse if you don't want to deal with us ruffians you ....you ..." she stopped, she wouldn't go that far to be offensive only defend her friend and honour "... leave us alone"

Lola flicked her ponytail, "Enjoy inflicting terrible wounds on one another in battle, ruffians," she spat, walking away. She found battling so very pointless and barbaric; being forced to fight, injure, and possibly kill another pokemon was absolutely disgusting to her, as a future service pokemon.

Sparkle had taken Lola's words a little too much to heart though. "Terrible wounds? B-but I don't wanna get hurt!" She wailed, "And I don't wanna hurt my friends!"

Cosmi's eyes somehow got even wider and she tried to comfort sparkle "that's not true! you get stronger the worst that'll happen is being unable to battle, there's never been a death or even critical injuries in legal battles, you wont get hurt sparkle as long as you get stronger now ...." she wasn't sure what to say now, it was true pokemon got hurt but she enjoyed battling and watching her mother battle, and battling just made the bond with a trainer so much more special .... but pokemon did get hurt .... "you have to get strong ... for your trainer so you can both become the best"

"That's true, but...But..." Sparkle sniffled, "To tell you the truth, I'm really scared of pain! What if someday, Ella wants me to fight against a big, scary ground type? I'd be blown to bits!"

"hey, look , your trainer will never do that if you show what types your weak against, the more she knows the more she can help you, you'll get stronger and she can get a pokemon to fight against those ground types while you fight the rest of them, yeah?" she smiled comfortingly "if she knows to have a balanced team you can have great journeys with her" Cosmi couldn't help but feel homesick talking about this stuff now but she had to be their for sparkle right now.

Clay heard some yelling and got curious as to what it was. "I'll um... I'll be right back. Good luck," Clay said as he walked away. Clay started to approach the Plusle and Espurr. He walked past a Happiny, who seemed very up stuck and moody. "hey is everything alright over here?" Clay asked Cosmi and Sparkle.

Sparkle sniffed and wiped her eyes. "You're right. Ella was telling me that she's learning about type match-ups in school," she explained, "So she said that she'd catch lots of strong pokemon, of lots of different types. But she wants to specialise in electric types, first amd foremost!"

Sparkle turned to face Clay, eyes wide and glassy, "Yeah, we're fine! A mean happiny just came over, that's all!"

Cosmi smiled glad to of cheered up sparkle "don't listen to that Happiny anyway! she doesn't know anything about battling!" she turned round to see the phanpy and gave a sheepish grin "yeah we're ok, thanks just some stuff came up, happiny said something mean and I just had to clean it up don't worry"

"Really?" Clay turned back and looked at Happiny, then looked back again. "Why would you go around starting arguments in a Nursery?" Clay questioned. "Anyway what are you guys up to?"

"She said that battling was for ruffians, whatever that means." Sparkle explained, "And that when she grows up, she's gonna look after someone with a...Conic, no, chronic illness."

"Oh right... Am I supposed to know what those words mean?" Clay looked back clueless. He then looked at the tree with a slight burn mark on it. "Are you guys battling?" Clay asked.

"ruffians is people who fight and are just bad, that's not correct as we aren't bad" she said to comfort Sparkle before looking at clay "we're working on our moves!" she said to move the conversation, a small smile on her face
