The little Riolu bristled, having been completely ignored. Completely rude of them, obviously! The haughty jackal tossed her head and crossed her paws at the indecency of it all while the Gengar really couldnt be more relieved. It was about when the reporters started to crowd that Harper finally noticed her two wanderers. She swung onto her feet with a groan and plodded down the beach with Basil at her heels.
"What are you up to now, Hyssop," the Riolu glared at her trainer's accusatory tone for a short beat before getting distracted by the crowd again. It looked like a battle was about to begin.
"Oh, thats a lot of--" Harper cut herself off when her trouble seeking Riolu started towards the flock of people. "No, no no no, Hyssop get back in your ball please." The trainer, Gengar and Typhlosion all sighed in relief when Hyssop returned to her ball with a flash.
Basil nudged his trainers side with his snout, earning a soft, tired chuckle from her as she fumbled for his ball too. "Alright, I know you don't like crowds. Here," she offered him his Pokeball. The fire type nuzzled his cheek into her shoulder before poking the ball with his snout and disappeared inside. Once the two Pokeballs were securely put away, Harper approached the shifting crowd, her Gengar at her side.
She was able to weave inwards, ushering her Gengar to sink into her shadow. Once she got to the outskirts, she saw just what all the commotion was about! Harper's eyes lit up once she saw the two massive dragons and, to her delight, Mimi. Maybe, if she was lucky, she could catch up with her childhood friend after all! From what she'd gathered from the surrounding chatter, the tall knight was fairly famous as well.
"How lucky are we? A free battle and they're both dragon types?" Harper grinned down at the glowing eyes in her shadow. A crescent grin answered her as she pulled out her phone again to record the battle. "There's no way this wont be awesome."
