Which do you prefer? Going through the snow storm in a long valley or a city filled with enemies?

I was about to write a post on Taikon voting with taking chances on beating the storm.

Edit: As much as he enjoys killing, he can only do so much before some people get a bit cautious.

Was also wondering on the best scenario for Taikon to attempt to assassinate the princess.

For the snow storm I was thinking of separating the group into smaller ones so if you want I could have Taikon go with Maker.

That could also work, and with the snow storm, he could pretend to get lost and separate from Maker, using the chance to "change clothes" and try to assassinate her like a different person. If he gets found by someone else while trying to assassinate, he could try and fake being unconscious or something along with giving himself a "convincing" injury.

Unless you want him to be found out during the attempt that is.

Edit: Zorua could even use her illusion skills too. (Yes, I know she can only disguise herself until she evolves.)

That could actually work, it will place everyone on alert, specially Maker.

I dunno what it'll do in terms of trust between Taikon and Maker if he doesn't get found out and found while "injured." Maybe he can even pretend to be super sympathetic and guilty for "failing to protect her."

And maybe Avery tries to make peace with Maker after being the rudest to her...

That could work, but then Maker will see him as a personal bodyguard, which actually works xD
Yeah we could add Avery to the group and have a Taikon vs Avery fight

And as they're both people who hide in shadows, I'd say they're somewhat evenly matched in the magic department.

the thing is when Taikon and Maker being separated together, Taikon would just kill her, why would he even bother rejoining back with the group since his mission would be accomplished. even is Avery is with them Taikon would know that she's inexperienced enough that he could easily take her out as part of collateral.

We could add one more person to the group so Taikon doesn't complete his job. I still want to see Avery vs Taikon though.

Because Maker would likely be protected by her Chandelure, Zhask, that's why Taikon was being cautious at first.

Or can Zhask only do so much?

@Hecotoro would be interesting, but given that Avery is kind of a newbie and Taikon is technically a skilled assassin, not sure how much of a fight it would be if Maker doesn't assist

yea at first, but now since its been some time, i hope Taikon would have gathered enough info about everyone around him and assess everything well enough carry out his job

Actually Maker hasn't really used her powers borrowed from Zhask, it's usually just him protecting her. I could have Maker finally use them.

I wouldn't call myself the smartest dude, so I'll have to try if I wanna use as much of his knowledge on everyone to his advantage.

...or just be that guy and just have a tab or two on previous posts where he was present around seeing everyone else in action...

and as said, Taikon hasn't used his shadow magic while fighting with the others, he just used a smoke bomb to cover the one time he did.

I think the fight would be something like
Avery going all out and Taikon not taking her seriously. Taikon gets hurt because he got too confident and decides to go all out. He is about to take out Avery and Maker (with Zhask) step in. Taikon, injured, decides to back out.

That could work, although as Taikon disguises himself, I won't have him speak during the fight and he won't have Zorua's help because she'll be playing dead while under an illusion as Taikon.

Avery has also basically been training in the Torus her whole life, though fighting is her weakest point.

So if you two are okay with it then we can set that up. Meanwhile the others will have to survive in a snowstorm

Not that I know of, but Kira has minor fire powers.

Zhask is a fire type and that's about it xD
The Ampharos are going to be useful.

If we go through the Black Dragon city there could be another Avery helps Maker moment.

Kira will want to go through the city...

If Kira wants to see the cities, she will get a chance later on to see others.
