Maybe the ones who want more power down at the bottom, but the ones closest to Ganger would be loyal, otherwise their system wouldn't work.

True. But Avery had to navagate the lower area at a young age. It's bound to leave some serious lasting effects. Plus being told that if she messed up, no one will be there to help her.

That makes sense, it is a very harsh way to treat their own but since the Toru focus on power, that's probably why.

You did literally have the Torus say they'll kill her if she failed, because they're goal is to make the whole world Kelan, and if she was spotted in Kelan, they would kill her.

If Avery killed the person who killed Maker, would she be redeemed (hypothitcal question)?

With Maker dead, Ganger would take the throne so they wouldn't really care about who killed her. It won't make a difference to anyone since the world would be lunged into war. But I guess they wouldn't kill Avery, since the goal was achieved, but she wouldn't receive anything.

I guess we should establish how far you the chain Avery's mother is. This way we could decide if Ganger would care for Avery's life or not.

Well, her mom is a descendant of Alice and her mom is very skilled at what she does. I personally believe she climbed the ranks rapidly, but I'll leave that to you.

Well Lesly is Ganger's right hand, so maybe Avery's mother can be under Lesly? This way Avery's pressure to succeed is greater, since Ganger can easily find out if she fails and her life would be at higher risk.
