These are borrowed pokémon correct? That's just my guess. Borrowed pokémon shouldn't be a big deal as its not like he's keeping it for the journey. When you initially said they would need a water type I assumed that meant you wanted them to have a water type in their team.

I understand that they’re handing out Pokémon that you will have to use in the contest. Then you return it afterwards, or you can keep it if you form a bond with it.

you can participate in contests without completely devoting oneself to it. Friedrich is going to participate in a couple gym battles ,but only a few. Not enough for pokémon league.

@ThePlayfulFox, Go ahead and make another character. I know that you already have two, but Sera is like an NPC, so you can have another character if you would like. If this goes well I might do this for other contests as well, depending on if this goes well or not.

Yes that will be fine. I do not mind if Clafairy is the starter that you want for the character. If you want to, you can skip the meeting with the professor, just kind of gloss over it in your post.

Yes that will be fine. Regarding making it occasional, I do not mind, there will be othet twists as well when it comes to contests, also I have other ideas for things that will happen as well that will involve others who are not contest goers.

I have two questions, are the water pokémon borrowed? and will they only be using the borrowed pokémon during the Cerulean City contest or will they also use their own pokémon during the contest as well?

The pokemon are borrowed unless the pokemon wants to go with the trainer that they worked with. When we get closer to the contest in the RP I will give more details on the rules for it. I do not want to give a lot away, but I will say that the pokemon that you are given must be the star of the team.

Personality: Ellie acts extremely prissy and like one of those 'popular girls' on TV (much nicer though). However, this is just a mask for her brilliant mind and nerdy quirks due to a fear of being bullied. This will be better shown in the RP

Defining Feature: Still not sure what this means
Physical Appearance: She has blonde hair with brown roots (due to dyeing her hair blonde) and blue eyes. She's caucasian and tends to be slender.
Clothing: Her outfit isn't very suitable for traveling, however she continues to wear it. It is a grey shirt that has it's sleeves stop at her elbows. She wears a pink skirt with ruffles that stop halfway to her knees. White tights continue her decency by going down to her calves. She then wears grey flats with a pink bow on them. She is also supposed to wear glasses, which she keeps inside of her white massager bag with a pink bow on it. (She might have a massive wardrobe change later).

Yes that will be fine. I do not mind whar pokemon is given, but it is like a surprise for the coordinator what pokemon that they will get.

I don’t care who wins, really. (But as a consequence of making short characters, the almost always have shorter legs than mine.)

How significant of a role will Pewter City play? Will anything of interest occur in Pewter City? Besides gym battles.

She had come from Unova and then moved to Kanto when she was about 10. She is around 15 at this time.

Yes though they could have known each other sooner as she stayed there for a couple of summers with her grandmother before that time.

May I make a suggestion for the contest? When they receive their water type Pokemon for the contest, it's somewhere from an hour to 15 minutes before the start so that they have a little time to work on a routine? Also, remind me how the first round works? One or two Pokemon do an appeal round and if they do well enough, they move on to the battling rounds?

I was thinking that when they signed up for the contest, they received thier 'mon. (Basically sign ups end one day before the contests)
