Backstory: Landon began his journey in Twinleaf Town at the age of 10 and began his Pokemon Journey. The first Pokemon he received was a Piplup naming it Mizu. When he gathered 8 Sinnoh Badges he challenged the Sinnoh League and lost in the Top 16, after Professor Rowan recommended that he should travel and explore other regions to get stronger and has now returned to challenge the league again.

Backstory: Connor started his journey at age 6, when an Ivysaur started bullying him. A Totodile came to the rescue, and 1 hit KO'd the Ivysaur with water gun. Connor never saw a real battle, except for the time when his father challanged lance. But he was just a baby back then. Connor didn't know what the Totodile wanted from him, so he just ran away. The Totodile followed him, though, and quickly chased him all the way from Goldenrod to Blackthorn. Connor opened his house's door, and shut it before the Totodile could enter. But then, What if he needed help? He thought. He then open the door, and snuck the Totodile into his room without anyone noticing. He had a toy pokeball, but he thought it would work. And, it did. Connor and Totodile are now best friends.

Name: Ry Burst
Region: Veilstone City, Sinnoh
Age: 16
Appearance: He has mid length brownish red hair. His green eyes with a spark of blue in them. His skin is slightly tanned, and he has good limb strength. He has a small scar on his left shoulder. Normaly wears a red jacket with hood, open, black shirt, grey jeans, and red sneakers. Clipped to his jeans is a white baseball cap that once belonged to his father.
Dream: To be a Pokémon Master, and a fighting type master.
Personality: Full of energy. He loves to battle, and never stops having fun. he cares for his pokemon deeply, and has large amount as of trust towards them. He does have a temper and is easy to anger, but he doesn't mean it. he is oblivious to the world around him, caring only for pokemon, battling, and his friends He wants to be friends with everyone he meets. Berry identification and cooking are important skills he learned from his mother. he is a budding Pokemon breeder, but his real dream is to be a Pokémon champ. he can Ashly connect with any pokemon he meets. He has superb battle sense, in battle, most of the time, able to calculate plans in a matter of seconds.
Backstory: When he was 6, his dad left to go stop a group of Team galactic rejects and Ry secretly followed. There was an explosion and he was saved by the legendary pokemon Latios. Latios got Ry out in the nick of time, with the only injury a small scar on his shoulder.
When he was 10, he received an egg. It soon hatched into a chmcharand Ry raised it. He and the Chimchar trained with the gym leader Mylene for 5 years. During that time, Ry got stronger and chimchar evolved into an Monferno. Tried to win the Sinnoh League but lost once he reached the top 16.

Personality: Due to being hatched from an egg, he is very much like his trainer. Hates to lose, but will accept it graciously. He likes to spar with Aura and Jet whenever he can in his free time, but he loves to just chill in a tree with his trainer. Fuego loves Spicy food and has a Brave Nature.

Appearance: Shoulder length brown hair, blue eyes, wearing a purple paperboy hat, a red tie-waist blouse, knee length ripped jeans and hiking boots.
Dream/Goal: Make a name for herself as a renowned trainer
Personality: Nina sports a brash, upfront personality. She is very direct with people, to the point of almost being rude. When faced with adversity, Nina is the type to turn it into a joke and laugh over it, never taking anything more seriously than she has to. However, while she rarely let's it show, she gets a bit sensitive when people call her "boyish."
Backstory: Not much is known about Nina before her debut as a trainer 7 years ago. She claims to be from Snowpoint City, but when asked, none of the locals seem to recall her, save for her mother and her younger sister. When Nina started her journey, she decided to journey to other regions before taking on the Sinnoh League. Over the course of 5 years, Nina has completed the Gym challenges of Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto, but has not yet participated in a league tournament. After returning to her home region, Nina collected Sinnoh's eight gym badges and began training for her first League tournament.

Landon stepped off the boat and onto Lilly of the Valley Island sight of the Sinnoh League. Landon pulled out his badge case and opened it, 'I've come a long way since last time' he thought to himself as he placed his badge case back into his pocket.

"Landon wait up!" a voice called out, Landon looked back and saw Lyra running towards him, they had met in Johto and traveled together a lot, "Would you mind waiting until I was ready to get going, I still had things to pack up," Lyra complained.

"I need to get signed up as soon as possible," Landon smiled, he knew he'd be able to sign up but he enjoyed getting there early to check out the place. Landon and Lyra walked around looking at the different trainers and Pokemon, unlike before there were trainers with Pokemon from all over the world, even some Alolan-Form Pokemon. Landon looked around and saw the building for registration, "Alright let's get going!" Landon shouted as he grabbed Lyra's hand and ran for the building.

Charles had looked at his pokedex in his hand,then he looked up at the sinnoh league "this is it,I'm finally here,and if I knew my brother,he will be here" he looked around and walked towards the league "I'll finally prove to him that I'm stronger! That I can beat him!" He walked forward a bit more then stopped and looked up "let's do this" he walked inside to get in line to register

"Name please," someone behind the desk asked Landon. "Landon Shono," he replied waiting anxiously to be registered. "Alright, now your badges," they requested, Landon handed over his badge case as the receptionist opened it she turned to him, "These are old badges, not so much that they've rusted, but more like a keepsake, you aren't new to the Sinnoh League I assume." Landon smiled, "No I'm not, I've partaken before but I lost." The receptionist finished registering Landon and handed him a key for his room. As Landon and Lyra began walking to the hotel Landon could feel that his bag was lighter, he threw his bag off and checked he noticed that Zippy had fallen out, "I'll be right back," Landon said to Lyra in a panic as he ran back into the building, "ZIPPY!" he called out, "Hey Zippy!" Landon ran around continuing to shout, "Hey! Has anyone seen a Togedemaru!"

"It's been a while," Ry said as he stepped off the boat, and beside him was Fuego, his Infernape partner. Around them, was a variety of Pokemon and trainers, all congregated to compete in this competition. Both Fuego and Ry exchanged glances, and they both new they were pumped. "I CAN'T WAIT!" Ry shouted, jumping in the air, with his arms raised, and Fuego happily shouting, "INFERNAPE!" The flame on his head grew, noticeably brighter. People around him, shot him stares. He shurgged them off, and entered the building.

Then the duo saw a familiar face. It was Landon, and apparently he was missing something. "Hey Landon, what's wrong?" He asked jogging over.

Charles walked up to the registration desk "I'm here to register for the sinnoh leaguez" they looked at him then asked "your badges?" Charles then went wide eyed "right!" He then fished through his pocket and pulled out his badge case and opened it "here,my badges" they looked at the badges then proceeded to register him and when they finished,he grabbed the key and ran outside "alright!...now where is the hotel?"

"Hey Ry, I'm looking for Zippy, my Togedemaru, the one from Alola, he was sleeping in my bag and now he's gone," Landon replied in a panic. He began running around looking for Zippy. "Zippy!" he called out again, he heard a call from somewhere in the building and ran towards it. Landon continued running and saw Zippy being surrounded by some kids, "You don't see a Togedemaru in Sinnoh," one said. "Yeah but this is the Sinnoh League so it could belong to someone, John" another replie. "Marica's right, we should see if we can find the trainer," the third one commented. "Yeah Jackson I guess we should, but what if it's trainer abandoned it," John proposed, "Then it would be fine if we took it." Landon ran up, "Zippy are you okay?" Landon asked. "Hey kid I don't know what you're talking about but this Togedemaru is ours!" John exclaimed as he grabbed Zippy.

Charles had noticed Landon run off "what the?" He then walked towards where Landon went and saw Landon and the kids with one holding togedemaru "hey! What's going on here?" He walked closer to everyone

"They're trying to take my Togedemaru," Landon commented, as he reached into his pocket. "This is our Togedemaru bud, plus you have no proof that it's yours," John replied as he held Zippy high up. Landon pulled out a Pokeball and recalled Zippy calmly, "Is that enough proof for you?" he asked as he turned to the guy standing near him, "I'm Landon by the way, I assume you're participating in the tournament too," he extended his hand for a handshake.

He shook landon's hand "my name is charles,I'm lucky to be able to participate in the league" he pulled his hand away and asked "by the way,where is the hotel where the contestants stay at?" He looked around and smiled "it's been so long since I've been in sinnoh"

"I feel like I'm forgetting something," Ry said after Fuego finished glaring angrily at the kid who took Zippy. Then a lightbulb went off in his head. "Crud monkeys! We forgot to sign in!" Ry shouted, and both him and Fuego ran inside. "Catch you guys later!"

"See ya Ry!" Landon called out as he waved, "Well it was a pleasure meeting you Charles and I hope that we'll be able to compete against each other." Landon waved and went outside to meet Lyra, "Sorry some kids tried to take Zippy," Landon appologized. "No worries now let's see our hotel room!" Lyra grabbed Landon's hand and began running towards the hotel. When they reached their room Landon unlocked the door, walking into the room he threw his bag onto one of the beds and sat down, "This almost reminds me of the Silver Conference," Lyra commented. "How?" Landon asked as he got up. "That was when we were at a league together but back then we were rivals," Lyra replied as she looked out the window. "Yeah you put up a good fight," Landon commented as he walked to the door, "I'm gonna rotate my Pokemon quickly wanna come?" "I am the one who takes care of them while you're gone," Lyra replied as she ran after him.

He watched him walk away and then followed him to the hotel as he looks at his phone "so the beginning ceremony is tomorrow? Alright then" he put it away and went to his room,upon opening the door he looked around "wow...this room is amazing" he then grabs a pokeball from his belt "snowdrop,come on out" the froslass came out of her pokeball and looked around "this is our room,pretty nice right?" The froslass looked at charles and let out a happy cry "good"

Landon walked to the counter, "I'd like to exchange my Pokemon," Landon requested. "Do you have a scheduled time?" The receptionist asked. "Yeah from Professor Rowan," Landon replied as he handed five Pokeballs over to the receptionist. Landon stood and watched as the Pokeballs were exchanged and he was handed a tray with his Pokemon, "Thank you," Landon said as he walked out. "So let's see em'" Lyra requested, Landon smiled as he held the Pokeballs, Zippy leaped out of the bag and next to Landon, "Alright, come on out everybody!" Landon shouted as he threw up the Pokeballs. The Pokeballs all burst open and an Empoleon, Noivern, Lucario, Blissey, and Serperior all appeared, "Thanks for helping me out you guys," Landon thanked as he faced everyone, "This time we'll give it our ALL!!!!" Landon cheered with his Pokemon. Lyra tapped Landon on the shoulder, "Landon the opening acrimony is gonna start soon so you may want to get down there," she reminded him. "Right!" Landon replied as he quickly recalled all of his Pokemon aside from Mizu, "Me and you just like before!" Landon said confidently, Mizu nodded in response as they left for the stadium.

While charles and snowdrop admired the room,charles checked the time "OH MY GOODNESS WERE GONNA BE LATE!" froslass becomes panicked as well and they both rush out towards the stadium,but on the way charles ran right into Landon "OW!" He fell down on his butt while froslass held back a laugh

"RUN MATE!" Connor and his feraligatr were super late. They had to register as fast as they could, otherwise they wouldn't be able to join. "Hey there, you need to register." A guard stopped Connor and Feraligatr. "Oh right, let me just show my badges..." Connor searched his pockets, but there was nothing in there. "Maybe in my bag?" Nothing was in the bag, except some snacks and berries. "Oh no, I think I rememeber." He looked at feraligatr. "We forgot them in Johto... Oh right! I have 8 Johto badges! Do you take them aswell?" Connor showed the Johto badges. "I'll let you in, but next time you better not forget the badges. Name?" "Ferali! Gatr!" Feraligatr gave his name, now for Connor. "Connor Holloway." The guard gave him a key to his room. He ran to the stadium, and sat next to a kid with a togedemaru. "Only seat left, eh. I'm connor, and you?"

Charles sat down a few seats away from Connor and landon,snowdrop still being outside her pokeball with him "I can't wait! It's starting so soon!" He was getting excited in his seat as froslass held back a laugh from how charles was acting

Nina was currently gasping for air as she stood with her back hunched over the arena's railing. She had just run from the Pokémon Center after taking too long to decide her team for the first round. By the time she got to the arena, every seat was taken. "At least we didn't *gasp* forget to *wheeze* sign ourselves in, right Ruhig?" The Weavile that stood beside her chuckled at how desperate Nina was to catch her breath. In all of his years of battling alongside Nina, he had NEVER seen her run that fast before. "Oh, you think this is funny? Maybe I should leave you on the bench when the tourney starts!" The Weavile looked panicked at this idea. There was no way he was missing out on this!

"Ruhig, chillax! You know you're my star fighter, I couldn't leave you out even if I wanted to." She looked around the arena one last time to see if she had missed a seat, and to her surprise, there was one! Until some guy with a Feraligatr scooped it up at the last second. "Well, that's just our luck. Guess we're standing for now."

"Let's book it!" Ry shouted as he ran from the hotel room, towards the stadium, with Pax on his head. He skidded to halt beside a girl with a Weavile. Well he tried to stop, but instead ran into a wall, just to the left to his designated target. He bounced off the wall with a loud thud.

The boy collapsed on his back, laying on the floor, rubbing his head. Apparently Pax had hoped off last second and was now, laughing.

"Yeah, I know it's funny. But remember, it was that or be late," he said facing the laughing Pancham.

Charles saw what happened to ry and held back his laughter and almost laughed loudly but kept it quiet "oh my goodness,are you ok?" He yelled from his seat "the opening ceremony is gonna start!" He looked at the two of them with a smile still on his face

"I'm Landon, pleasure to meet you," Landon said as he shook Conner's hand. Landon looked up as all the lights in the stadium went out, there was a runner carrying a torch that was said to have The Sacred Flame of Ho-Oh. When the torch was lit Landon saw someone walking into a platform in the middle of the stadium.

"Ladies, gentlemen, Pokemon Trainers from all around, welcome to the Lily of the Valley Pokemon League Tournament!" The man exclaimed to everyone, "Now we have trainers from all over the world joining us today, from the famous Kanto to the tropical Alola, however only one will be crowned the next Pokemon League Champion and earn a place in the Hall of Fame!" The crowd gave a loud round of applause, Landon was stoked to compete in the Sinnoh League again. "Now without further ado please check the screens for who you'll be facing off against and when!" Landon looked up at the screen and saw all of the trainers being shuffled, when they stopped Landon saw his time and opponent. The man dismissed everyone from the stadium telling them to get some rest and battle they're hardest tomorrow.

Nina glanced at the boy who had just crash landed beside her, and couldn't contain her amusement. "Hey, uh, are you okay?" She said, struggling not to burst out laughing. She offered him and hand to help him up. As she did so, the announcer began his speech, signifying the start of the Lilly of the Valley Tournament. She glanced at the Pancham the boy was traveling with, and thought to herself. "Heh, using an unevolved Pokémon in a League tournament. If there are more competitors like this guy, this should be a cinch." Nina mentally slapped herself for her cockiness. "Get a grip, Nina! He might not even be using that Pancham in battle. Never underestimate the competition!"

"So, my opponent is... Well, okay, that was unexpected." Connor didn't want any rest, so instead he went exploring. not a lot to see, and not a lot to do. So he returned to his room, which was rather small. "They probably give bigger rooms to people who actually brought their sinnoh badges. Atleast I have my johto badges, after losing the league at number 2. But this time, bud, we won't lose. we CANT lose. We have to win this, so we can become the official pokemon champion of each and every region!" Feraligatr sneezed.

Charles looked at the screen and noticed he was going up against a trainer he didn't know named blake "huh,this I'll be interesting" he got up from his seat and started to head back to his room,withdrawing snowdrop and entering his room where he plopped on his bed and took off his shoes "alright,gotta rest up for tomorrow" he then realized the cafeteria was downstairs "wait...I'm such an idiot" he put back on his shoes and went downstairs

He took the hand and got up. Then with wide eyes, full of vigor and fire, watched as the speech began. He was pumped when the speech was done. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine, it happens all the time." He said giving a shrug. Pax climbed back on Ry shoulder and gave a matching shrug.

"My name is Ry Burst, future Pokemon Master! And this is one of my pokemon, Pax, and we're gonna win this tournament!" He said happily, giving a fist pump. "And it's a pleasure to meetcha," he said offering the girl a handshake.

Nina firmly grasps Ry's hand. It's always nice to see such fire in the eyes of a fellow trainer. "Nice to meet you as well, Ry. The name's Nina, and this little rascal to my right is Ruhig." She couldn't resist smirking a little. "And of course, we plan on winning this tournament as well." Ruhig crossed his arms over his chest and grunted smugly.

She looked around and saw people getting up to leave the stadium. She would have to get moving soon if she wanted to find out who her first opponent was. "Hey, I don't know about you, but I'm gonna go check out the brackets. You're welcome to tag along if you want."

"Don't get too sure of yourself," Ry said smiling. "At this point, it can be anyone's game," he added, giving a laugh.

As the people began to leave, and Nina made mention of checking the brackets, Ry gave a nod. "Yeah, it would probably be best to check it out," he said smiling.

While charles was downstairs getting his food,he ran into the trainer he was supposed to face "oof! Sorry about that,I ap-" he froze up when he realized "oh,your the one I'm fighting against!" The opposing trainer had a smirk "yeah,but don't think you'll win" he walks past charles as he is left with a scowl

Landon made his way back to the hotel to get some rest for his first round match. Landon woke up the next morning, he and Lyra went down to get some food, "These pancakes better be as good as they claim," Landon commented as he sat down and began to eat. "So I assume you didn't research your opponent," Lyra replied as she pulled out her Pokegear. Landon nearly chocked on his pancakes in response, his opponent probably did research to find out Landon's potential strategies. "You're lucky I'm with you," Lyra said superiorly as she opened her Pokegear, "So your opponent is Mike Salno from Mauville City, he has a Manectric, Muk, Skarmory, Abomasnow, Blaziken, and a Bibarel." Landon thought about the Pokemon and a strategy, "Then I'll go with Ellie, Noiv, and Mizu," Landon stated confidently. "What are you gonna do about that," Lyra pointed a small black box Landon had next to him. "If push comes to shove I'll use it, plus me and Mizu have been practicing," Landon replied as he got up, "Now I'm going to get ready." Lyra smiled, "I'll go take a seat and wait for your match!"

Nina woke up early that morning and began doing research on her opponent. She knew it was some kid named "Tyler" or something, but after all the excitement of the previous day, Nina was too tired to do any meaningful research. He didn't look that tough anyway. Still, better to be safe than sorry. She sat down at a computer across from her bed and pulled up his profile. "Let's see here...Tristan, that's his name. Became a trainer just over a year ago, taking the Sinnoh gyms by storm in only a few months...jeez Rowan, you really know how to pick 'em." Nina was shocked that a greenhorn was skilled enough to come this far. He must have a strong team. "Well, what do we have here...nothing too special. Torterra, probably his starter, a Staraptor, a Floatzel, a Rapidash, and a Machamp. Looks like this guy likes to go ham with attack power. Oh, wait, there's one more on his team...whoa." Welp, that explained a lot. This kid had a Garchomp. Nina wasn't worried, per se, but it was still impressive that a fresh new trainer could tame a Garchomp. "Dust off those claws, Ruhig. I think I've found you a good warmup."

"This stuff is delicious!" Ry exclaimed, shoveling food into his mouth, from his bowl, the next morning.

"That's rice," a young girl said sitting next to him.

"Yeah, but it's still a pretty good breakfast," he said stopping to talk, before eating more.

"My name is Amanda. I'll be your opponent, Ry. And might I say, your outmatched, because while you want to be a fighting master, but I'm going to be a psychic master. And your Mega Sceptile stands no match against my Pokemon," the girl bragged.

Then Ry gave a grin, "That's why I didn't do any research. I believe in fighting blind and letting whatever happens in the battle happen. So do me a favor and don't ruin the suprise," he said giving big a peace sign before focusing back on eating.

Amanda rolled her eyes and walked away.

"Hey, bud, we going for the surprise technique like we did back in Johto?" Connor never checked the teams of his opponents in the Johto league, and he'll do the same here. He only saw that his opponent uses grass types, so Connor hoped feraligatr is faster than all of his opponent's pokemon. He quickly checked where the battle will be. While walking towards the arena, he ate a snickers bar that he had in his bag. He didn't eat since yesterday's morning, when he flew here from Johto. "And the winner is Ben Brown!" Connor had just reached the arena in time for a battle he wanted to see. "This is supposed to be the guy we're battling. Aiden Jackson. Should be easy for you, though!" Aiden's opponent was someone who seemed familiar to Connor, but he just couldn't identify him. "Welcome, folks. This is going to be a great battle, with one of our new trainers, Say Alola to the Alolan grass type master, Aiden Jackson! And on the opposite side, no need for introductions, The god of dragons, all the way from the Kanto region! Let the match begin!" Said the announcer. "Go, Exeggutor!" Aiden's exeggutor had a giant neck, which was something Connor has never seen before. "Then I'll choose, Dragonite!" Said the opponent that Connor couldn't identify. "Dragonite! Hyper beam!" Dragonite completely wrecked exeggutor. "Exeggutor, return! Go, skiploom!" Dragonite had to recharge, so skiploom set up some stat changes. "Dragonite, thunder!" Skiploom fainted. "Skiploom! No! Well, buddy, you are my only choice! Go for it, Tropius!" Aiden's tropius was gold and bright green, which was also new to Connor. "Tropius! Leaf blade! Show him how we do it!" Dragonite fainted. "Dragonite, return! Go, dragonite!" The opponent sent out another dragonite. "Leaf blade!" Dragonite fainted. "Come back, dragonite! Go, dragonite!" Woah, a third dragonite? Connor didn't expect that. "Leaf blade!" Dragonite held on using it's focus sash. "Destiny bond!" Dragonite was prepared to take down tropius. "Magical leaf!" Dragonite failed his destiny bond, and Aiden won. "And the winner is Aiden Jackson!" "Wow, he's a strong one. Gotta get in place, next match is mine!" Connor stepped into the arena. "Stay here, folks, because this match is Aiden again, against Connor Holloway, the famous 2nd place in the Johto league with only a croconaw! This time it evolved, though, so be ready for a tough battle! This is the first match from Connor, although he forgot to bring his Sinnoh badges and had to show the Johto badges, so we placed him with a hard target! Let the match begin!" "Go, Exeggutor!" Exeggutor didn't look tired from last battle... must be a berry or a potion. "Feraligatr, I choose you! Ice fang!" Feraligatr quickly bit exeggutor in the neck, freezing him. Exeggutor couldn't take it, and fainted. "Go, skiploom!" Skiploom was an easy target for an ice attack. Same as exeggutor, super effective. "Ice fang!" Skiploom had no chance. Aiden retrieved skiploom, and sent out tropius. "Ice fang!" Feraligatr was just about to bite tropius, when tropius used leaf blade. Feraligatr survived the attack, and bit the tropius. Connor easily won. "And the winner is Connor Holloway!" "That was a great battle, mate. Let's swap pokegear numbers!" Aiden looked confused. "What's a pokegear?" Connor facepalmed. "Something from Johto, never mind." Connor ran to his room with excitement, he won his first match!

Charles was heading towards the arena,it was finally his turn to fight agains the very cocky trainer,blake,who always boasted about his pokemon's strenght and he had a frown as he reached the battlefield and blake stood on the other side "trainers! Send out your pokemon!" The ref shouted as the two trainers each pulled out 1 pokeball "go! Snowdrop!" Out of charles's pokeball came his froslass,snowdrop,ready to battle "alright then,go! Krookodile!" The trainer known as blake sent out his Krookodile,which let out a loud growl

Landon walked through the corridor towards the stadium and saw Connor walking back from his match, "Congrats on the win Connor!" Landon said as he gave a high five. "Ladies and Gentlemen it's time for our next match to begin!" The announcer called out, "This match will be between Landon Shono from Twinleaf Town and Mike Salno from Mauville City!" Landon stepped onto the field with a Pokeball in hand. "Trainer please bring forth your Pokemon!" The referee signaled. "Go! Ellie!" Landon called as he whipped the Pokeball, a Donphan burst out giving a fierce look of determination. "Alright Manectric, get out here now!" Mike called as he threw his Pokeball, Manectric burst out and gave a roar. "I'll take the first move, Ellie Take Down!" Landon called, Ellie began charging towards Manectric shaking the ground as it went. "Manectric Quick Attack!" Mike ordered in response, Manectric began glowing a bright light and slammed into Ellie stopping it in it's tracks, "Now send it flying!" Manectric using all it's force sent Ellie flying back. "Ellie!" Landon called out, Ellie slowly got up and shook off the damage, "Right now Rollout!" Ellie curled up and began rolling towards Manectric with great force. "Manectric Protect!" Manectric generated a light blue shield in front of it blocking Ellie's attack, "Now Crunch!" Manectric leaped at Ellie and bit into it dealing major damage. "Ellie!" Landon cried as Ellie was thrown into a wall. "I guess that's it," Mike said unimpressed, "Manectric use Dig and wrap this up!" Manectric leaped up and dug into the ground with great speed. "Now's our chance Ellie! Use Earthquake!" Landon shouted, Ellie roared as it slammed into the ground creating a massive shock wave sending Manectric flying from out of the ground, "Now Take Down!" Ellie began charging at the falling Manectric and leaped at it dealing major damage and hurdling Manectric to the ground. The referee ran over and looked at Manectric, "Manectric is unable to battle, Donphan wins!"

Mike recalled his Manectric and pulled out his next Pokeball, "Go Abomasnow!" Mike called as he threw his Pokeball, an Abomasnow burst out and roared, "Abomasnow Blizzard!" Mike called out, Abomasnow launched a powerful Blizzard at Ellie causing lots of damage. "Ellie Rollout!" Ellie quickly curled up and began fighting against the Blizzard with Rollout. "Wood Hammer!" Mike ordered, Abomasnow formed a green energy log around it's arm and slammed it into Ellie sending it flying and knocking it out. "Donphan is unable to battle Abomasnow wins!" the referee declared. "Return Ellie, you did great," Landon thanked as he recalled Ellie and changed Pokeballs, "Noiv, let's go!" Landon threw the Pokeball, a Noivern burst out and flew into the air before circling back towards Landon and biting onto his head, "Noiv let go we talked about this!" Landon complained as he removed Noiv's jaw from his head, "Now use Flamethrower!" Noiv flew up quickly and shot flames straight at Abomasnow. "Abomasnow Blizzard!" Mike ordered in response, Abomasnow's Blizzard blocked the Flamethrower creating a large cloud of steam blocking the view of both Pokemon. "Now use Boomburst!" Landon ordered. "It's usless your Noivern can't see Abomasnow!" Mike claimed proudly, to his surprise the Boomburst hit Abomasnow directly, "Wait but how!?!" Landon smirked, "Noivern can create sonic waves that can help it see even through steam," Landon explained, "Now use Flamethrower and wrap this up!" "Abomasnow Sheer Cold!" Mike yelled. Abomasnow and Noiv both launched their attacks simultaneously at each other causing a huge explosion, Landon and Mike both stood in suspense waiting for the smoke to clear.

The battle had begun. Both trainer stood their ground, with their Pokeball in their grip.

"Go Pax!" Ry shouted tossing his pokeball. It burst open, revealing the small panda like Pokemon. He did a small helicopter kick, and jumped in the air, landing on his feet, flexing his arms.

"Even now, you send out a fighting type. Knowing I use psychic types. Wow, you are idiot." Amanda sneered. "Go Xatu!" The bird Pokémon flapped his wings.

"Okay, buddy, Stone Edge!" Ry yelled. Pax leapt into the air, and fired pointed stones that circled him and fired them at the Xatu.

"Protect!" Amanda commanded. The Psychic and Flying type, became enveloped in a pale veil of energy that blocked the attack, allowing the stones to land in the dirt.

"Shadow Claw!" Ry yelled. As soon as the veil disappeared, Pax was right there, spinning around, with his paw engulfed in a dark shadowy energy. He slashed at Xatu, knocking him back.

"Why you little," but before Amanda could finish her swear, Pax charged again.

"Comet Punch!" Ry shouted, as Pax slammed his fist into Xatu, knocking him back, once more.

Nina stood just outside the entrance of the stadium, going over her strategy for her battle against Tristan. Looking at his battle history, it was clear that Tristan put most of his time and effort into his prized Garchomp, so Nina thought it best to focus on taking it down. She knew Ruhig could take it down, but probably not in one hit. Nina had to think of a way to weaken it before finishing it off. "Ohhhh...now there's an idea!" Straightening her hat, she walked into the ring, just as the announcer signified the start of the match. "The next battle will be between Tristan Nakamura from Jubilife City and Nina Schulz from Snowpoint City! Trainers, you may send out your Pokémon!"

Tristan was quick on the draw. "Garchomp, take 'em down!" Nina took a moment to review her plan before sending out her own Pokémon. "Alright, Rauch, I'm counting on you!" Nina shouted as she called out her Weezing. Tristan seemed to get cocky at the sight of it. "Ha! What's that thing supposed to do? Garchomp, let's show them how it's done! Rush it with Dragon Claw!" Swiftly, the dragon charged towards its target, rearing back its arm as it prepared to strike Rauch at full force. Nina waited...and waited...until Garchomp was right where she wanted it. "Now Rauch! Will-o-wisp!" Rauch's second mouth began to glow as it kindled the flames, and then fired them straight at Garchomp. While the attack made direct contact with it, Garchomp was undeterred and continued to smash its claws straight into Weezing. Tristan couldn't help but laugh at the weak attack. "You see? That floating ball of gas can't do anything! Show me a real Pokémon!" Nina only shook her head. Not in annoyance, but in amusement. He really had no idea of what just happened, did he? Might as well humor him, she thought. "Oh my, you're right! Sorry Rauch, but I'm going to have to call you back before you get hurt." With mock worry, she returned Rauch, and began phase 2 of the plan.

While the battle was going on,charles and blake were battling as well "use taunt!" Froslass made a taunting gesture as blake got angry,being unable to use Swords dance "ugh,that's it! Use crunch!" Krookodile was fast and managed to hit snowdrop,but her health was at 1 due to her having focus sash "what!? Come on!" Then,both pokemon's bodies were glowing purple,the sign of the ability curse body "heh,now you can't use crunch" Charles said with a smirk as he called out the next attack "ice beam!" The icy attack hit the Krookodile,knocking him out "Krookodile Is unable to battle and the winner is froslass!" The ref says as froslass let's out a happy cry

As the smoke cleared Landon and Mike both noticed they their Pokemon KO'd each other, "Both Noivern and Abomasnow are unable to battle," the referee declared. Landon and Mike both recalled their Pokemon, "Alright Blaziken lets go!" Mike threw his Pokeball, a Blaziken burst onto the battlefield, "Alright Blaziken you're our last hope to win!" Landon smiled as he took off his bag and began going through it, when he was done he was wearing a Z-Ring with Steelium Z on it, "You're about to see a full powered attack, Mizu I need your help!" Landon threw a Pokeball and an Empoleon burst out. "We'll get the battle going, Blaziken Blaze Kick let's go!" Mike called out, Blaziken dove towards Mizu with great speed. "Mizu block it with Metal Claw!"Landon responded, Mizu blocked the Blaze Kick with a Metal Claw. "What Blaziken's Blaze Kick should've still done damage and knocked your Empoleon back," Mike complained in confusion. "Normally that would've but Mizu's gone through rigorous training so a simple Blaze Kick won't throw us off," Landon explained, "Now Mizu, Ice Beam!" Mizu shot a close range Ice Beam at Blaziken knocking it down. "Blaziken Close Combat!" Mike yelled, Blaziken quickly moved in close and began rapidly hitting Mizu. "Just hang in there Mizu and look for and opening to grab Blaziken!" Landon yelled, Mizu understood and began analyzing Blaziken's movements as it was being hit until finally it saw an opportunity and grabbed onto Blaziken and was now holding on tight. "Blaziken break free!" Mike called out in a panic, Blaziken struggled as hard as it could but could not break free. "Now Mizu give them the Seismic Toss!" Landon called out. "But Empoleon can't learn Seismic Toss!" Mike yelled out still panicking. "Then we'll improvise, Aqua Jet let's go!" Landon called as he looked up, Mizu wrapped itself and Blaziken in a veil of water and sprung into the air, "Aquatic Seismic Toss!" Mizu began spinning in the air before diving straight back down to the battlefield, Mizu slammed Blaziken into the ground at the last second and leaped away. "Come on Blaziken! You have to get up!" Mike called out to Blaziken as loud as he could. Blaziken got up slowly it still had enough energy to battle. "Time for us to so our true power!" Landon called in response, he placed both his hands in a X position and Mizu replicated, Landon bashed his two fist together before pointing them forward, Mizu did the same, "Go Corkscrew Crash!" Mizu's body was now coated as if it were metal, Mizu placed it's fins above it's head and began spinning towards Blaziken like a drill. Blaziken was hit by the attack and was sent flying, Mizu stopped and it's body returned to normal, the referee ran to Blaziken, "Blaziken is unable to battle Empoleon wins, so the winner is Landon from Twinleaf Town!" the referee declared. "And that's all she wrote folks after an intense battle, the winner is Landon!" the announcer announced. Landon smiled as he walked over to Mizu, "Thanks buddy," Landon thanked, he and Mizu shook hands with Mike and Blaziken wishing each other the best.

Blake reached in for another pokemon "go! Tyrantrum!" Tyrantrum letting out a terrifying roar "use stone edge!" Blake called out and before charles and snowdrop regained theYreka compare romantic the roar,snowdrop got hit and charles screamed out "SNOWDROP!" she was then launched towards charles but he caught her as the refund announces that Tyrant rum won "you did well,bow take a good rest" he withdraws snowdrop and pulls out another pokemon "go! Stygian!" Out of the pokeball came a gliscor

 

[Ry_Burst]

The battle was getting intense with Pax dodging attacks, and delivering hefty counter attacks, whittling away at Xatu's heath. Soon the bird was defeated, and Amanda was getting angry.

"Return," both trainers said, returning their Pokemon to their pokeballs.

"Go Fuego!" Ry yelled tossing out his partner. The Infernape took the field and flexed his muscles happily.

"Gardevoir, stand by for battle," Amanda shouted. Like last time, she had chose a Pokemon, that would have the advantage over hers.

"Flamethrower!"

"Moonblast!"

The two blasts collided centerfield, with one a light pink, and the other, a fiery red. They explodes, creating a large smoke cloud, that enveloped the field.

"Thunderpunch!" Ry yelled. Fuego sprung his legs, launching himself high into the air, with his fist, crackling with yellow energy.

"Energy Ball!" Gardevoir formed a green ball of energy that she used to block the Thunder Punch, at close range. Again, like before the attacks exploded creating a dust cloud, over the two Pokémon.

Landon walked with Lyra back to the hotel, "I didn't think you would use your Z-Ring," Lyra commented as they walked back. "I wanted to make it known that I came to win I probably won't be using it for a while anyway," Landon replied as they continued their walk, "I wonder how the others are doing right now?" When they arrived back at the hotel Landon took off his Z-Ring and placed it on the table, "Well time to do some training before the next match."
