Nina had already left the arena before the match had ended. It was clear that Landon was fighting a losing battle, and she wasn't surprised at all when the results were announced on television. Typical. The guy tough enough to beat her in a six in six match can't even win the championship. Still, that whole Z move thing that Landon had going on interested her. She would have to keep Landon on her radar for a while. If she could get that power for herself...she shook with excitement just thinking about it.

"Well, tailing the guy can wait. It's been a while since I visited home." Home. The thought of going back home warmed her heart. It had been a long time since Nina had actually visited her home. Even when she came back to Snowpoint to challenge the Gym, she had been in such a rush to make it to the Lily of the Valley tournament that it had mostly been an in and out deal. Her mom would probably barely recognize her now, and Lisa would probably be off traveling again already. Still, it would be nice to take a breather for a while. Maybe think about where to take her training from here.

"Yeah. My partners and I are gonna get even stronger. Gonna plow through anyone in our way." She looked across the sea as Landon's boat moved further and further away from her own, and then to the island, still booming in celebration for their newly crowned champion. "Just you wait. Next time, we'll be the ones coming out on top."
