[Ry_Burst]

"Pax, dodge!" Ry shouted quickly. However, as Pax trtied to move, he was engulfed in energy. After getting knocked unconscious, Ry returned him to his Pokeball.

"Okay, go Jet!" Ry ahoited, sending out his ace. "Use Leaf Blade!" Jet bounded across the battlefield, with his arms raised, and the leaves engulfed in a green energy. Rushing towards the Slyveon, he swung widely at it.

 

[Frontier Master]

"Dodge it then substitute!" Yelled Ajax desperate not to allow Jet to start sweeping. Navi bounced around the field using the fallen stones from stone edge and the various craters throughout the field to hide from the aces attacks
Once clear Navi gave a slight Groan and rose her ribbons as the faint outline of a giant doll surrounded her "great now use wish!" Navi appeared again raising her ribbons as pale moon like light shone down on her before fading again

 

[Ry_Burst]

When Ry saw Ajax use Wish, he smiled. He had dealt with a cbo similar to this before and he had the perfect option. "Jet use Swords Dance to stall, and wait for Wish. Use it over and over again, if needed!" Ry shouted to his Grass type. Jet nodded and began to flew his arms, boostong his attack and power. Then after he finished, he began to do it again.

The wish granted quickly and sylveon raced toward Jet "use moonblast!"
Navi fired a wave of fairy projectile at close range each racing toward jet with amazing speed

"Dodge with Swords Dance!" Ry shouted as Jet, while moving his arms, made a flip over the Moonblast. His tail, got hit, and get quickly ducked and rolled, landing behind the Slyveon. "Leaf Blade!" Ry shouted, as Jet quickly swung at the shape of the substitute, encasing the Slyveon.

The substitute took the grunt of the attack leaving It barely held together while Navi spun around and fired a point blank moonblast directly into Jet's body

 

[Ry_Burst]

"Limbo!" Ry shouted at Jet, who knew exactly what Ry meant. This was one of their more common strategies, that he's been using for quite a while. Jet leaned backwards, just low enough that the Moonblast scooted over his head, slightly scraping his chest.

"Leaf Blade," Ry shouted as Jet came back up. Digging his right foot down, he swung at the Slyveon's Substitute once again, to hopefully break down the barrier.

The attack tore through Navi's barrier
"Navi full power moonblast!"
Navi poured every once of its power into this one attack leaving nothing behind, a huge ord the size of a Wailmer flew from Navi's mouth and directly toward Jet

"Leaf Blade!" Ry shouted, once again. Jet crossed his arms, slicing through the massive amount of energy, but still taking damage. Then he rushed towards the Slyveon to deliver another powerful blow.

The attack hit an already weakened Navi hard knocking her back
Navi stood again using wish trying to Stall until it come through however exhaustion overcame her and she fainted
"Navi return, go hot shot Use swords dance!" Ajax threw another pokeball high into the sky and a large and agile talonflame appeared from the ball, Hotshot rose high out of Jet's reach and let out a hearty cry raising his attack considerably

"I can't let him build up. I should probably lower him and keep him low." Ry thought. As Jet stared straight up. The Sceptile, was damaged, but as usual, refusing to accept it. He was holding his arm and wincing. In a quick motion, Ry returned Jet to his Pokeball, and sent out Splashy. The Water and Fighting Type, stretched his arms and flexed. His Water type moves would be super effective to the Talonflame, while the flying would be super effective to him. It would be an interesting fight.

 

[Frontier Master]

"Swords dance again! And keep out of reach" hot shot let out another hearty cry and continue to fly high above the stadium occasionally diving or spinning sporadically to avoid being an easy target

 

[Ry_Burst]

"Hydro Pump!" Ry shouted, as Splashy raised his bulking arms upwards, each in opposite directions. Then he fired a blast of highly pressurized water that raced across the sky, aiming directly for Hotspot's flight path, where he would hopefully slam into.

 

[Frontier Master]

Hot-shot swerved violently to avoid the attack however it clipped his wing, sending him into a nasty spin directly into the flow of the attack, Hotshot managed to pull out of the attack but not without sustaining heavy damage. Suddenly a pale milky light shone down the form the sky restoing hotshots stamina
"What's this it seems the effects of Navi's wish have saved Hotspot in a time of need" yelled the Announcer
"Use brace bird!" Hotshot dropped into a sudden dive and flew directly for Splashy's chest

 

[Ry_Burst]

Ry knew that this attack would do serious damage if it landed, but would have recoil, nevertheless. Hopefully, he could stop the attack from landing. "Hydro Pump!" Splashy fired another blast at the charging Talonflame, hoping to smack it away, or have it swerve to avoid the attack.

 

[Frontier Master]

The attack hit Hotspot directly to the front of his attack however his highly increased attack power allowed the scorching Pokémon to slowly make progress toward Splashy

 

[Ry_Burst]

"Increase the power!" Ry shouted. The water jetting out of his palms, increased. He needed to stop this attack. The water increased, as Hotshot moved forward.

 

[Frontier Master]

The water slowed Hotshot considerably though he was still making steady progress toward Splashy
"More power!" Hotshot let out another valiant cry and begun to advance faster toward Splashy

 

[Eis]

The fire in Nina's eyes flickered a bit, giving way to uncertainty for a brief moment. There it is, she thought. Landon was finally busting out those fancy combination moves. She had to admit, such an unconventional battle style unnerved her a bit. It certainly caught her off guard, as she couldn't issue out the order to protect quickly enough for Harry to react. Still, thankfully the Tangrowth was blessed with a typing that resisted both attacks, and was able to remain standing in spite of the direct hit. "It's alright Harry, we got this! Just hit 'em with a Power Whip!"

Harry looked back at his trainer with dazed eyes. He looked as if he had forgotten where he was. Then, he turned back to look at Joy. His eyes blurred and his vision swirled until he swore that the Blissey was moving in circles around him. In a fit of panic, Harry extended his arms out and around him, flailing against the ground and walls all around him. The vines wrapped around Harry's body as both arms swirled around in an attempt to reach back behind him. In the end, the only thing Harry had managed to hit was himself...badly. The force of the blow sent him toppling down to the ground, humiliated and defeated.

"...Harry, return." Nina was seething with frustration. Of course. Of COURSE she would be unlucky enough to have Harry knock himself out in confusion! Welp, that makes two out and one injured for her. And unfortunately for Nina, she wasn't really left with many options to deal with a Blissey...she was kinda banking on Zen for that one. "Well...guess it's time for plan B! Hephaestus, you're up!" Crashing into the center of the arena, the Aggron let loose a ferocious roar as he hunched his body over into a defensive stance. Nina thought for a moment. While it would be nice to start the onslaught immediately, it was probably better to think ahead. "Alright, get his show on the road with Rock Polish!" With Nina's command, Hephaestus began to fiercely scrape his claws down his armor plating, smoothing it out as much as possible and raising his speed.

The battle raged on in a long and hard fought battle each trainer taking their Pokémon above and beyound their pre-established limits. Until I came down to the last two Pokémon, Bastion versus Fuego. A matchup unlike any the Sinnoh league had seen before. Explosions and craters littered the field with debris until only one remained standing, Bastion in its mega form hovered spasmodically at Ajax's side of the field before lifting the now fainted Fuego into its arms and carefully carrying him back to his trainer
"Fuego is unable to battle Bastion is the winner! Ajax and his team will advance to the final round!" Yelled the announcer still in awe of the skill and power of both trainers and their Pokémon
"Great battle Ry, we should do this again some time, here so have sowe thing for you" said Ajax as he approached the teen with a golden embossed envelope in his hand. "This is an invitation to the Iron Island battle facility, if you choose to accept you will be mentored by trainers such as Brandon and Spenser of the Hoenn Battle Frontier, good luck and I look forward to our rematch"

"An Aggron!" Landon called in shock, he knew he would need to expect some powerful Pokemon in the league but Nina's team was packed full of powerful Pokemon. Landon quickly turned to the board and looked at his Pokemon, he was down 2 but every Pokemon except 1 had already battled which would make it an even bigger challenge, "The odds are against us, but that's the way we like it!" Landon exclaimed as he turned back to the battle, "Alright Joy, Water Pulse!" Joy nodded and slammed a ball of water against the field creating a large wave that was heading straight for Aggron.

 

[Eis]

"Power through it, Heph!" At his trainer's call, the Aggron got on all fours and sprinted straight though the Water Pulse attack, continuing to charge forward straight for the Blissey. 'Even if Hephaestus is weak to water attacks, we can't afford to let anything stop our momentum. Trying to dodge would be a waste of time at this point.' "Don't stop for anything! Full force Double Edge, now!" Hepahaestus lowered his head as he continued to charge forward at full speed toward Joy, aiming his horns at the dead center of the rotund Pokemon.

The Double Edge hit Joy like a truck sending it flying back and smashing into the field, "Joy!" Landon ran over to the injured Blissey he bent down and saw that his Blissey had been knocked out, "Joy thanks a ton," Landon commented as he recalled Joy. "Alright Spike let's go!" Landon whipped his Pokeball, his Blaziken burst out ready to battle again, "Use Overheat!" Spike's body began to glow a bright red as it shot a hot beam straight at Hephaestus.

 

[Eis]

The flames made direct contact with Hephaestus, some of the blast turning to steam as it made contact with the water droplets left over from Joy's Water Pulse. Normally, Hephaestus could take this kind of punishment almost twofold. But, as always with Landon's Pokemon, Spike seemed much more powerful than the average Blaziken. With a final roar, the Aggron collapsed, causing the ground to shake a bit as it fell. Shaking her head in disbelief (and, if she was being honest, a bit of dissapointment), Nina recalled the Aggron to his ball.

"Hephaestus, return! You've done enough." While that's what she said, internally Nina was getting a bit worried. She was down to half of her team, and one was severely injured. Making things worse, it seemed that Anmut was her best bet against Spike for now. Hopefully she could avoid damage better than Hephaestus. "Anmut, get back in there! Cross Poison, on the double!" The Drapion landed with a thud, and a wince in pain, still differing from her previous injuries. One hit would be all it took to knock her out. Shaking off the pain, Anmut swiftly scuttled to Spike, pincers poised for attack.

"Spike dod-" Landon yelled but he wasn't fast enough, Spike was slammed with a Cross Poison which had dealt lots of damage and left Spike poisoned, "Now that we're poisoned Spike's special attacks won't do as much, good thing we weren't planning on using Overheat just yet," Landon muttered to himself, "Alright Spike Brick Break let's go!" Spike straightened it's hand as it leaped up aiming for Anumt's head to deal some good damage, 'Drapion may be a Poison Type, but it's Dark Type will balance out the damage of Fighting Type attacks' Landon thought to himself as he concentrated on the battle, he looked down and saw his Z-Ring, he was still able to use it but he would need to use Zippy.

 

[Eis]

'An overhead strike...Anmut won't avoid that. But I need that Blaziken gone! Time for a last resort attack.' "Anmut, Cross Poison again!" However, just as the Drapion raised her arms for one last attack, Spike's Brick Break had already made contact with her head, sending Anmut plunging into the ground, defeated. "Of course that wouldn't work...time to get creative. Anmut, return. You did great girl." In her head, Nina weighed her options. She could send Rauch out, but she would rather have him in prime condition for that rodent, and whatever Landon's last Pokemon was. However, sending out Ruhig was straight up risky. It was a risk worth taking though.

"Alright Ruhig, let's go! Get ready to dodge!" The Weavile landed center stage, doing a small flip as he made his entrance. Bending his knees, Ruhig prepared to dart away from whatever the opponent threw at him.

Spike landed and immediately took damage from the poison, "Spike are you okay?" Landon called out, Spike nodded back but it was seriously damaged, Landon stood for a moment contemplating his next choice, should he switch his Pokemon, "Weavile's weak to both fire and fighting, but Spike isn't in the best of shape," he muttered. Spike saw Landon's concern and immediately got up and roared that carried across the stadium, "Alright bud, whatever you say, now use, Thunder Punch!" Spike dove in towards Ruhig and began jabbing at it using Thunder Punch back to back.

 

[Eis]

'That's odd...why isn't he going for a fire or fighting move? Whatever, makes things easier for me.' "Ruhig, now!" As Spike's fist approached ever closer, Ruhig jumped backwards and made a left turn as soon as his feet touched the ground, dashing around the arena and checking for any openings Spike may have left. Noticing this, Nina called out to the Weavile. "Don't try to attack! Just keep away for as long as you can!" Ruhig looked more than a little disappointed at this, but obeyed nonetheless. 'As long as we can keep dodging, the poison should take care of the rest.'

Landon watched as Weavile continued to dodge Spike's attacks, "What's she up too?" Landon wondered as, Spike continued to use Thunder Punch Landon soon realized what was happening, every so often the poison would return, and drain more of Spike's energy, "Spike return!" Landon called as he took out Spike's Pokeball, Spike retaliated in denial. Landon stood for a second and understood what Spike wanted, it knew it may not win, but it would give this battle it's all, "Alright then Spike, use Blaze Kick!" Spike leaped up into the air and dove down towards Ruhig using Blaze Kick.

 

[Eis]

Chuckling, Nina could feel her confidence start to come back. An overhead strike would be an issue for Anmut, but not for Ruhig, the fastest member of her team. Without needing to say a word, Ruhig sidestepped the Blaze Kick and lowered his body in preparation to dash away. 'If he wants to go out in a blaze of glory, then fine. Let's finish this in style!' "Ruhig, finish it off with a Low Kick!" Grinning sharply in excitement, the Weavile swept his leg underneath the Blaziken, hoping to knock him off balance and finish him off.

Spike collapsed to the ground in defeat, "Blaziken is unable to battle, Weavile wins!" the referee declared. Landon recalled Spike, "Thanks buddy, you were great," Landon put the Pokeball away, "Alright, Pory, let's go!" Landon threw the Pokeball straight up, a Porygon-Z burst out and hovered a small distance from the ground, "Alright use Conversion!" Landon called out Pory's body glowed a bright white as it's redish-pink color was changed to yellow, "My Porygon-Z is now an Electric-Type, and we'll use it's new strength right away, Thunderbolt!" Pory shot electricity straight at Ruhig.

 

[Eis]

Distracted by the sudden attack, Ruhig was caught off guard and took the Thunderbolt head on, causing massive damage. Letting out a shriek of despair, Ruhig charged forward at the artificial Pokémon without Nina's orders. "Ruhig, what are you doing?!" Seemingly ignoring his trainer, Ruhig raised his claws in attack...only to collapse abruptly at Pory's feet.

Nina was floored. Yes, the Thunderbolt was powerful, but it shouldn't be enough to knock out Ruhig in one hit! Gazing across the stage, Nina noticed that Ruhig's foot was...twitching? 'Ahh...I see what's going on here. Sure, I'll play along.' "Oh no, Ruhig! Are you okay? Please say you aren't hurt!" Ruhig's foot stopped twitching at the sound of Nina's voice, and he lay there motionless, save for his broken breathing.

Landon was surprised, a Thunderbolt shouldn't have taken out any non-Water or Flying Pokemon in one shot, Landon saw Ruhig's leg twitch before stopping all together, "The one twitch makes me think it's still okay, but it's not moving," Landon and Pory exchanged looks before shrugging, "Should we take it safe?" Landon asked, Pory nodded, "Alright then, Signal Beam let's go," Landon ordered, Pory shot a multi-colored beam of light at the collapsed Weavile.

 

[Eis]

As Pory and Landon were discussing what to do, Nina was signaling to Ruhig, who kept one eye open and pointed toward Nina. "They aren't buying it. Move!" When Pory fired its beam, Ruhig was prepared to roll out of the way. However, the compromising position made it impossible to dodge the attack completely, and Ruhig was still damaged by the Signal Beam. "You're close up! Knock Off!" Moving in for a strike, Weavile quickly brought down his right claw as hard as he could down toward Pory.

Ruhig's Knock Off slammed against Pory dealing lots of damage, "Now Thunderbolt!" Landon yelled, Pory charged up and launched a close range Thunderbolt attack, 'Ruhig's good at dodging, but how well can it dodge at close range' Landon thought to himself as Pory launched it's Thunderbolt attack.

 

[Eis]

Ruhig was severely damaged by the Thunderbolt as soon as it hit, but Nina knew he could power through it for one last attack. "It's time Ruhig! Give 'em a combo attack!" Still being shocked by Pory's attack, Ruhig began his final combo, starting with a Fake Out straight to the face. Nina cheered Ruhig on, knowing that he would faint as soon as the theatrics were over. "One for the money!" Following up, Ruhig brought both of his claws down in his most powerful Knock Off yet. "Two for the show!" As Pory was sent crashing down into the ground, Ruhig followed up with one last Low Kick, aiming straight for a blow to the artificial Pokemon's head. "And three...to...go!" As the kick made contact and Pory was sent flying, Ruhig collapsed on the spot, pushed far past his limit. Nina called back her exhausted partner. "You did well, mate. Rest up."

Without bothering to check whether Pory was still standing or not, Nina wasted no time in calling out her final team member. "Rauch, you're up!" The Weezing rose up into the air from his pokeball, one head focused on Landon and Pory while the other watched Nina from the corner of its eyes, listening for orders.

Pory was slammed to the ground from Ruhig's attack, "Pory!" Landon called out, his Porygon-Z's colors reverted back to normal as it lay unable to battle, Landon looked over and saw that Ruhig had also been knocked out, "Both Porygon-Z and Weavile are unable to battle!" the referee declared, "You were great Pory, take a long rest." Landon commented as he recalled his Porygon-Z. Landon watched as Nina sent out her Weezing, "Well Nina, this will decide it all," Landon called out as he took out his final Pokeball, "I couldn't have asked for a better Semi-Final opponent." Landon readied his Pokemon, "Alright Zippy, it's rematch time!" Landon whipped his Pokeball as his Togedemaru burst out and onto the field, "Let's kick things off with Gyro Ball!" Zippy nodded, it's spikes all glowed as it spun straight towards Rauch.

 

[Eis]

"Ha! This old show again. Rauch, he's flying right for you! Give 'em a Will-O-Wisp!" The smaller of the two heads fired off a spark of blue flame toward Zippy, but something changed from last time the two had fought. Zippy was apparently much faster, as his Gyro Ball was able to hit Rauch before he had a chance to fire his attack. 'Dang...this'll be tougher than I thought.' As the rodent Pokemon bounced off of Rauch's larger head, the Will-O-Wisp made its way toward Zippy.

"Thunderbolt let's go!" Landon called in response, Zippy launched a Thunderbolt that destroyed all Will-O-Wisps, "Sorry, but we won't be falling for that," Landon and Zippy both smiled with confidence, "Thunderbolt again!" Zippy nodded and quickly shot a second Thunderbolt at Rauch. 'Zippy, me and you, we won't lose a second time' Landon thought to himself.

 

[Eis]

Nina's eye began to twitch. 'OH, he thinks he's hot stuff now, doesn't he? I'll show him hot stuff.' "Quick, back-to-back Fire Blast!" Without having time to charge up to maximum capacity, the two heads fired two small Fire Blast attacks in quick succession. One was used to cancel out Zippy's Thunderbolt, while the other was headed straight for Zippy. Whether the blast hit the rodent or no the didn't concern Nina. What mattered was getting out of easy Thunderbolt range. "Now, Rauch! Propel yourself into the air with Clear Smog!" The Weezing began to spew a a white, cloud like gas as he rapidly ascended into the air.
