Alana stepped carefully through the woods, careful not to step on something sharp. Small bird Pokemon perched on her shoulder, chirping happily. Each step she took was as graceful as a Swanna. She closed her eyes, humming sweetly as she went on. She twirled around, her dress blowing through the gentle wind.

She was truly at peace. She enjoyed each and every Pokemon she met at her forest, and they enjoyed her back. At night, she'd climb high into a tree, and rest in a comfortable branch. To keep the girl warm, all of the Pokemon snuggled with her, singing their sweet melodies.

It was early morning of June, a slight trickle of wind breezing through the air. The warmth started to spread over the land, letting people relax in the sun. Alana picked up a young Chatot that had been sitting on a branch, and kissed its forehead. She then opened her hands for it to fly away, whispering,
“Go along, little one, fly home.”

Flareon stumbled through the woods, injured. She didn't want to remember the harsh training her trainer had put her through, before she abandoned her alone, and injured. Just thinking about it caused her to cringe. She had loved her trainer, so why had her trainer been so mean? Had she done something wrong? Had she slept to often? Were her flame throwers not strong enough? She didn't know. All she knew was that she was cold, hurt, exhausted, lost, and sad. Finding a small empty burrow, she curled up into a ball, wrapping her fluffy, yellow, warm tail around herself, and hiding her orange/red face into the fluff. Memories of meeting her trainer, and other pokemon flashing through her head, as her forest green pokemon eyes filled with tears.

Alana swiftly walked through the leafy forest. Every Pokemon from every nook and cranny came out to see her. Except one burrow. There was definitely a Pokemon in it, but it hadn't came out. It looked warm, and fluffy and it's fur was yellow and a hint of orange behind it.

Alana knelt down to the burrow, Pokemon gathering round her. “Little one?” She asked in a soft, gentle voice.

Green eyes opened at the sound of a gentle voice. Flareon looked up and saw a pretty girl, she had pink hair, and ears of an elf. Around her were more pokemon. Gulping Flareon stood on shaky paws, ready to defend herself. She narowed her eyes and and watched every movement looking for threat.

Azure was walking on a trail. It was a nice day, a breeze blew by. She heard a noise and decided to take a look. Peering through bushes, Azure saw a girl that was kneeling on the ground and in front of her there was a red and yellow pile of fluff.

“Oh I'm not here to hurt you.” Alana whispered to the Flareon calmly. “Go! Furret!” Alana threw a Pokeball up at the sky. A Furret emerged out and wrapped its body around Alana's arm. Using her other hand, Alana scratched her Furret's forehead.

“Furret, I want you to use Absorb on the sun, and shine it on this Flareon!” “Fur!~” Furret leaped up, holding her pelt high to the sun. She then absorbed at and released it near the Flareon. Furret hopped back to her trainer, climbing into her shoulder. Alana kissed her Pokemon on the nose. “Good job Furret!”

Flareon stood like a statue, she wanted to trust this person, but she was still hoping her trainer would come back. Plus, this person was acting weird. Why would she show affection to a pokemon? That's not whats supposed to do. Flareon felt a little better, but still wanted to sleep off some of the pain. Desiding that the human wasn't going to hurt her, Flareon lied down and curled into a ball again, twitching her ears she sensed another person in the bushes, and fixed her gaze on it.

Azure walked into the clearing. "Um..Hello." She said quietly. Her leafeon stood behind her legs, searching in fear. They were both shy.

Alana's ears perked up. “Go, team!” She whispered. She threw the rest of her Pokeballs up, and out came:
Solosis,
Vaporeon,
Leafeon,
Floette,
And her beloved Pokeball Vivillon.

All of her Pokemon swarmed her, excited to see her. Vaporeon nuzzled Leafeon, and Leafeon purred. Solosis danced around happily. Floette gracefully twirled her flower. And Vivillon fluttered her red, white, and black wings.

“Stay alert. If it's a Pokemon, back off. But if it's a human, stay still.” She whispered.

Seeing it was just a girl, her muscles relaxed. “Stand down.” She said to her Pokemon.

Azure looked surprised at the pokemon that were surrounding her. "Oh..um, hi." She whispered. Reaching down, she petted the Vaporeon softly. Her leafeon was dancing around happily that there were other pokemon.

"Flare!" Flareon pushed herself back onto her paws and hurried to see if it was her trainer coming back for her. Happiness swelled in her heart at the thought of it being her trainer. "Flare Flareon-" She cut off seeing it wasn't her trainer, and her tail sagged to the ground again. Does she really not want me any more? I was her first pokemon? Why does she not want me?! Flareon's paws couldn't hold her any longer and she collapsed, crying silently into her yellow fluff.

Vaporeon purred and twirled around Azure. Leafeon held her gaze on the other Leafeon, curiously.

“Forgive me, why are you here?” Alana asked gently. She stroked the Furret resting on her shoulder. Alana glanced at the Flareon, and back at the girl.

Vivillon perched herself on a nearby branch, and absorbed the warmth in her wings. “Viv! Vivillon!~”

Alana looked up at her rare butterfly, and smiled. “Vivillon, your wings are looking as bright as ever!” “Thank you, trainer!~” Vivillon replied.

Hearing Pokemons voices was normal for Alana. She spent her time talking to them, listening to their problems.
“Trainer, this girl is nice!~” Vaporeon purred. Alana chuckled.

Then Alana saw the Flareon was crying. “Oh, this is terrible.” Alana shook her head. “Young one, whats the issue?” She asked softly. She bent down to the Flareon.

Azure only saw the crying Flareon. She rushed over and bent down by it. She picked it up and curled it in her arms. Shhh she said in a reassuring voice. Then she turned to the girl. "My name is Azure, I was hiking up here."

Flareon didn't care that she was picked up, she just wanted to cry, and to get her trainer back. She had no clue how to be a wild pokemon, but she also didn't want a new trainer. She wanted HER trainer, the one that hatched her, the one that trained her, she didn't care that her trainer had hurt her, she just didn't want to be abandoned. Before long Flareon had cried herself to sleep, thinking about her trainer's bright red hair and grey eyes.

Alana followed the girl with her gaze. She was fascinated by the girls generousity. This forest was usually lost and sick Pokemon, which Alana would take care of. She knew it was dangerous for Leafeon to be by Flareon, but Leafeon curiously looked up at the Flareon.

Alana placed a hand on Azures shoulder. “It's good for you to help them. You're one of the first people who cares.”

Alana sighed. “Nobody really appreciates the little Pokemon. It's usually me who takes care of them. That's how I met these fellas!” She said motioning to her Pokemon.

Name: Kenneth Harvey
Age: Seventeen
Self Introduction: I'm told to be too laid back. On the other hand, others tell me I'm too easy to piss off.
Either way, they should learn to mind themselves; and you mate, are no exception.

Appearance: His limbs are long, slender and toned. He is stronger than he looks, and his smile is rare due to his calm poker face. Wavy black hair crowns his pale jade eyes, and his jawline is straight and sharp.

Kenneth's brows knit together in frustration as he held his gps device towards the sky.
Connection failed.
"Tch, Damn."

The trees were too thick to receive a signal, and he was already too deep in the woods to turn back. Walking aimlessly, Kenneth's Scyther eyed him with caution, his green armour sheen with sunlight.
Shifting the strap of his backpack, Kenneth's jade eyes glanced up at the tree leaves in subtle defeat. "Yeah. We're lost."
With a downwards gaze, Scyther sighed. His trainer was sometimes too stubborn. He didn't listen to the fair warnings of the nearby town folks, who claimed the woods to be haunted. There were many missing reports, and rumours of silhouettes and voices. With fair reason, most the trainers took a different route to the next town. However, claiming he does not believe in such hauntings, Kenneth had decided to take the short route through the woods. Short after venturing into these forests, they were lost.

Alana returned all of her Pokemon but Furret. "Take care of the Flareon, please," She called to Azure as she disappeared deeper through the woods.

Alana knew this forest like the back of her hand. She traveled her favorite path through, where it was possible to see cities in the distance, as the sun shone bright. She took the path and sat on the hills that exited the forest. Furret nuzzled its cheek on Alana's neck. Alana laughed, when she saw the silhouette of a young adult looking down, a Scyther accompanying him. Alana sighed. "More humans? Oh well..." She stayed and watched the boy, curiously.

"Why don't you make yourself useful, and clear the forest with those arms of yours, mate."
Scyther crossed its blade arms, looking at his trainer with a sideways glance. The pokemon had a stern expression, its posture straight with just the right amount of confidence. Scyther's dark eyes met jade, as the two stared down at each other, looking as if they were ready to brawl it out.
Rolling his eyes, Kenneth ruffled his unkempt hair with a gloved hand.
"Alright, fine. Lets call it a day and set up camp."

Alana angrily gasped, fuming when she heard the trainer. But she respectfully nodded when the Scyther denied. She was ready to sock that boy in the nose. Pokemon live in forests!

Azure nodded and continued stroking the Flareon which was now fast asleep. She laid it down silently on the grass and opened her bag. Pulling out a blanket and food, she set out a simple picnic. Leafeon began eating immediately and Azure took out some food for the Flareon when she woke up.

Flareon's eyes fluttered open, in front of her was a bowl of pokemon food in front of her. Flareon sniffed it, and her stomach growled. She looked up at the girl with blue hair, and then at the Leafeon, and back at the food. Hesitantly she reached her head up, took a mouth full of food and walked away before eating, she did that a few more times before sitting down and grooming her fur.

She's still hesitant... Azure thought in wonder. No Pokemon had ever acted so...smartly. She thought about were the girl could have gone and decided to go look. "Take care of Flareon." She said to Leafeon. ((Or Lee.))

(Kenneth has a tongue to spit sarcasm)
Scyther's stoic expression slightly softened, its dark eyes smirking down at its trainer. Despite his sometimes rash behavior, he deeply respected his trainer. Without Kenneth having to tell him, Scyther bent its knees and vanished into the thick trees. When they camped, they often tried to stay near a body of water.
Setting down his bag next to a tree, Kenneth sat down and leaned his back against its trunk. Wind brushed through leaves above him, a gentle wave of green. The forest reminded him of his home, and though he wouldn't admit, Kenneth missed it. It was this silence of nature he craved, but was always blocked out by city noise.

Alana's eyes shone furiously in the moon. She was waiting for when this trainer would would sleep, so she could teach him a lesson. She didn't even care about the Scyther anymore. "Vaporeon!" She whispered, and threw out his Pokeball.

As the sun dawned behind the forest horizon, Kenneth's breathing began to slow and soften. His eyes fluttered down to close over his pale specs, and the moon shone vicious against his dark hair. Arms crossed, his bag was collected at his side, and he figured Scyther was probably scouting the area. Kenneth listened carefully to the sounds of the forest, and let himself be lulled to rest.

Flareon looked at the Absol with interest, but took a few steps back, colliding with the Leafeon making her jump and run forward into the bushes. She hated feeling so scared, especially because she was used to pokemon surrounding her from training. She stayed hunched to the ground, peering at the pokemon through the bushes.

Alana quietly climbed a tree, deciding, no. She wouldn't prank this boy. But she pulled a leaf off the tree and had Vaporeon scratch the message:
Sarcasm is NOT appreciated here.

She patted Vaporeon and returned her two Pokemon. She gently let the leaf fall, and it landed gently next to the boy. Alana exhaled and curled herself up in a branch. She then dozed off.

Unlike his cold, and rather stand offish demeanor, Kenneth slept in innocence. With softened features, he was at peace, and fell into quite a deep slumber. However as the night wind blew, he shivered and stirred awake. Groaning and muttering incoherent words, his jade eyes danced in search of his Scyther. With a sleep induced brain, his hands fumbled for a pokeball on his belt. It summoned a red light, and a flash of silver stood tall before Kenneth, its body a massive armor. An unusually large Skarmory stared down at his trainer, patient to do his bidding.
"Bring Scyther back." Kenneth whispered, in fear of waking the sleeping woods. He knew Scyther was probably in need of rest, but like himself, was too stubborn to give up. Kenneth felt a prickle of irritation as he realized he was duped. Scyther had realized his tired irritation, and therefore got him to rest while he went out to search himself. Sighing, he watched Skarmory ascend with its large, razor blades. Kenneth glanced over, when a leaf with particular markings caught his eye. When suddenly, Skarmory cried, a screech like noise, which for whatever reason sounded pleasant.
Standing to his feet, Kenneth tilted his head, letting his loose curls brush against his face. "What is it?"
Skarmory flapped its monstrous wings, it's predatory eyes staring at a girl, unguarded and fast asleep.

Alana shifted around. She could've sworn she heard a screech, but shook off the feeling. She smiled as she felt small Pokemon gathering around her body. She then heard a noise below. She carefully sat up, trying to avoid awaking the sleeping Pokemon. She peeked down to see a pair of eyes looking up at her.

She widened her eyes as she saw the Skarmory standing over the boy. She then realized it was the boy who had made the offending joke. She gave a slight glare down at him.

Skarmory looked from his trainer, to the girl, and back with obvious confusion. With another screech of vibrating metal, Skarmory took off into the night sky in search of Scyther.
"Hey, kid, it's dangerous." Kenneth said aloud, his eyes guarded with slight suspicion and clouded with confusion.
Is she glaring at me?
Putting a hand through his hair in baffled surprise, he frowned down at the trunk of the tree. He was obviously still disoriented from sleep, and was tempted to be lulled back to sleep by the forest. However he couldn't decide if it was more proper to approach or leave the girl alone. Concluding it would be improper to just leave her, he glanced up at her, his jade green eyes becoming ivory in the moonlight.
"Come down here, you might really hurt yourself."

Azure could not find the girl. But then, she looked around and found her in a tree. Under the tree there was a boy, about 16 or so. She took a deep breath and stumbled out of the bushes, pretending she just got here. "Wha-What?" She asked. Taking out her Ninetales, she stood ready. "Hey, I was looking for you." Azure said to the girl in the trees. "And I still don't know you name!"

Alana jumped down gracefully, a few Pidgeys resting on her shoulders. "Thanks for your concern, but I'm not a kid." She muttered. She brushed away the hair loosely hanging above her pointed ears. She folded her arms, and studied him. "Is this your first time in the forest?" she asked suspiciously.

Alana glanced to Azure. "It's Alana."
