Spirit of the Woods (just join!)

Flareon smelled another trainer and lifted her head up happily, and took off leaving the Leafeon behind. When she got to the group of trainers, she slowed her pace and looked at the new trainer, sighing in despair. Of course it wasn't her trainer, why would her trainer want her back? FLareon sat back down and watched their display.

Kenneth observed the girl with sleepy eyes, when all of a sudden she jumped down. Body tensing, his eyes widened in surprise as she landed gracefully on her feet. Taking quick, long strides towards her, he ignored her question and grabbed her shoulders. His eyes scanned her face, his brows knit together. Realizing she was intact and in good condition, he let her go and sighed, a vein popping in his forehead as anger prickled his skin.
"You bloody scared the crap out of me!" He hissed, and seethed into his hand that covered his face. Despite the rise of anger, he was relieved to see she was alright. Glancing up at her with a mutual look of suspicion, he realized her peculiar appearance and muttered into his hand, "Yeah, what of it?"
Hearing the shuffle of footsteps behind them, another girl had called forth her Ninetails. Frowning at her somewhat hostile movement, his hand hovered towards his pokeball belt and waited a beat to see if she were really a threat.

Azure stepped back. Sitting down, she Listened with her Ninetales in her lap. They were talking and Azure didn't want to interrupt.

Leafeon stepped toward the Flareon. "What's wrong?"

As the second girl seemingly backed off, Kenneth too let his hand drop from his belt. He narrowed his eyes, and for a moment, it looked as if he were contemplating hitting the girl with pink hair.
What, does she own this forest?
Sighing, he massaged his temples, and held up a hand. "Okay, I'll look for another tree." He groaned, his voice laced with frustration. Blinking with realization, he stared at her, remembering his problem. "No wait, you go look for another tree." He said, as he needed to stay in place for Scyther and Skarmory to find him. "No, better yet, go home."
Walking back towards the tree trunk, he sat down and closed his eyes. It probably would have been smart to ask the two for directions, but his pride didn't let him.

Surprised Flareon fell forward onto her nose, getting dirt all over her face. Sitting back up Flareon looked at the other eeveelotion, 'N-nothing...w-why d-do y-you a-a-ask?' she stuttered, as she shuffled her orange/red paws.

“Home? You're kidding right? Take a look at me. Does it look like I have a nice warm house, with a happy family? First of all, I'm barefoot. Second: Are you that bad at paying attention to details?” Alana fumed and pointed to her ears. “You've heard the stories haven't you? About how this forest is 'Haunted'? No! I'm sick of this!” She was shouting. Her eyes started to glow into an icy white. Her hair was floating and waving in the air. The necklace hanging from her neck turned a bright shade of blue. Her feet were lifted off the ground, and she was now floating.

She pointed a finger at the boy. “YOU can go back home, mister. Oh and don't worry about that Scyther. He'll be back.” She glared, the outline of her body glowing.

Oh my... Azure thought. This girl was special. She was...extraordinary. Azure had some questions. Looking at her meticulously, she studied the differences.

Leafeon gasped. "Your NOT okay! Oh my leaf.." She took a step back. Being close to heat was not good for a grass type.

Seeing the damage she was doing to the forest Flareon tried to stop her heat, but it was becoming worse, and hotter. 'This must be why I was abandoned!' She started crying. 'I keep hurting everything!' Seeing the glimmer of a near by puddle, flareon got to her feet and made her way to the liquid.

Azure silently took out a notebook and scribbled down observations while still watching her.
She has seemed to calmed down. Still floating.

At her sudden outburst, Kenneth grimaced, fatigue colouring his expression. However as she began to glow and float in the air, his eyes widened, their jade specs becoming clear. Standing to his feet from the tree trunk, he slowly shook his head, his poker face making it hard to read his expression.
"No.." He said, his voice still. Most would cower when coming to terms with such an apparition, or reach for their pokedex. However Kenneth knew that even if he were to let the device scan the girl, she would not be registered.
"Spirits of the forest do not haunt, they keep alive." He said, reciting the words his grandmother had told him. A string of memories resurfaced, his small town and forest that burned down years ago.
"Calm down, and come down from there."

Kenneth returned her gaze, not daring to look away. She was right, he had completely looked over the details. Expression cracking, his lips curved into a smile.
"Pft-"
Failing to stifle his laughter, he chuckled. Calming down from his small fit, he looked back at the girl with amusement in his moonlit eyes.
"Never would have imagined I'd meet and piss off a spirit."
Reaching for his bag, he slung it over his shoulder.
"Alright, this is your home in which I trespassed. Point me in the right direction, and I will willingly leave."
His smile was fleeting as his expression returned into its hardened state. However there was no deceit hidden anywhere on his being. His words were honest, and his body language showed no signs of alert or hostility.

Alana nodded with a grin and pointed West. “Your Scyther is waiting there. Have a nice night!” It was funny how Alana was like that. She'd go from a temper tantrum, to a calm and sweet smile. “I am sorry for my ruckus.” She apologized to the Pokemon.

Kenneth yawned into his hand as he grumbled incoherent words. Above him, Skarmory and Scyther rustled with the leaves. Plucking their pokeballs from his belt, he returned them with a flood of red light.
"Reminds you of home, eh? Get some rest you two."
As he continued to walk west, he began to hear the flood of city noises. With a tired sigh, he cracked his neck and moved forward.

Flareon carefully approached Alana, and hesitantly reached up to lick her hand, in apology. Her body temperature was normal now, so she walked up to the Leafeon, and touched her nose to its, saying sorry. FLareon then turned around and made it's way back to the burrow she was sleeping in before.

Alana looked down at the Flareon. “Oh, I'm sorry! I must've scared you!” She looked over at Azure, a small smile painted on her face.

Azure sighed and started waling back to the area where she first was. "Shows over I guess..." Her Ninetales safely tucked into it's pokeball and her notebook went back to her pocket.

Absol was hiding behind a tree. He had not known what he had seen. He only knew that trouble was coming to the forest. This was insane. The black and white creature made his way to Alana, but looking at her made him run back and hide behind the tree.

A sent pasted through Flareon's nose, a sent she knew well. She sprung up and sprinted towards, the smell rushing past the trainer, and the spirit, and even past the trainer with the Syther. Fianally she saw the trainer that hatched her. HER trainer. She pounced on the red haired girl and was immanently thrown off of her, slamming into a tree.

"Flareon Flareon!" Flareon said happily bouncing around the girl, once she stood back up.

"Tsk I thought I got rid of you!" She spat. "Look I already have a replacement for you!" She pulled out a pokeball and let out a Vaporeon. "Vaporeon is stronger, and twenty times better than you. Vaporeon get rid of it!"

"Poreon!" Vaporeon let out a strong water sending Flareon flying back into the tree. 'Nothing personal, I'm just doing as told' Vaporeon said.

Flareon got back onto her paws, she limped forward, going back to her trainer.

"You never give up do you!" She scoffed, throwing out another pokeball. "Raichi Thunder full power." The Raichu did as told. Because Flareon was already soaked, the thunder hurt a lot more.

"FLAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Flareon yelled but still tried to get to her old trainer.

'Flareon, stop, just go we don't want to hurt you!' Raichu and Vaporeon said togeather.

'No she hatched me...raised me...she's my trainer...' She stumbled forward.

Absol heard Flareon's cry. He ran all the way to see what the noise was about. He was sad at this sight. He started to form a shadow ball, looked at flareon, and made it even stronger. He launched it.

Flareon saw the shadow ball and jumped in front of her ex-trainer, and getting thrown back.

"Lets go Vaporeon, Raichu." She returned her pokemon and walked away, not caring about the injured pokemon she raised from an Eevee. Flareon tried to fallow her ex-trainer but couldn't, and fell unconscious.

Absol ran up to the Flareon and howled out to Alana, seeing what it had caused. No wonder why I am called the disaster Pokémon... Absol thought, and let a tear fall.

Alana stomped forward to the girl with red hair. "How can you live with yourself, you jerk! This Flareon trusted you. You might as well join Team Rocket!" Alana glared.

The girl just tsked. "If you care so much for the brat take her! I could care less." She then turned around and kept walking, ignoring the angry girl.

Flareon opened her eyes and saw the crying Absol in front of her. Using whatever strength she had she lifted her head and licked the Absol's cheek. 'Thank you for trying to help, it wasn't your fault I was the one that jumped in the way. Thank You.' She lied back down to rest.

“Oh I will. And you'll pay.” Alana's eyes flickered an icy blue. She picked up the Flareon and brought her into the forest. She let out her team as well. “Everyone, use absorb!” All of her Pokemon absorbed the sun, and let it out on the Flareon, to dry her fur.
