Ask to Join Sword Art Online: A New Disaster(RP)

Finally calming down enough to think logically, Richard realised that if he were to survive the death game, he would need to be strong and have allies. He entered the fields again, hoping to meet someone to party with or something,

 

[Yaspen]

Lexi checked Jag's name, then smiled. "Phew, you're alive," she said, relived.

Damn it damn it DAMN IT! I can't find her anywhere! What am I going to do!?

Rose was in a panic as she tried and failed to find the girl Rita. Rose had searched the town and came up with nothing, and the fear had began to make her panic. Then a light-bulb went off in her head.

Wait, there was that other guy. Dapper_Cat I think. He offered to join with me earlier. Please oh please let that offer still stand!

Having not seen Dapper_Cat in the Town of Beginning either, Rose dashed towards the field with the hope he'd be there and be willing to work with her. Rose had to survive, she wasn't gonna let herself die in this damned game!

 

[Grand Master Koop]

A boy in his teen years stood against a wall in the Town of Beginning and saw Rose run around. He decided to walk up to her. "Hey what the matter?" He asked.

Rose turned to the guy, a look of confusion on her face.

"D-did you not get the message? We can't log out. And if we die here we're gonna die for real! All because of some defection with the NerveGear!" Rose yelled, surprised this guy did not seem to know that.

 

[Dapper_Cat]

Dapper_Cat wasn't too far from the entrance at the Town of Beginnings. Someone just a few feet away from leaving the Safe Zone would be able to see him, While he wasn't specifically looking for a party, as he stated to himself earlier, he wasn't about to abandon those people that were in the Town of Beginnings. Chances were, at least one of them didn't have anyone to party with and needed to be with someone, now that the game was mirroring the actions of the original Sword Art Online.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

The boy sighed. "I do get the life threatening event that's happening right now but panicking is not going to do anyone any good. its better to stay calm and think things through" He said.

"Yeah, I guess you've got a point. Thanks for that. You can call me Rose. What's your name?" Rose asked the boy who offered solid advice amidst the chaos and fear of this game becoming a literal matter of life and death.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

"My in game username is Grandmaster_Koop, just call me Koop. Its nice to meet you Rose." He said with crossed arms. He then uncrossed his arms. "So do you want to party with me? It would help with our survival rate." He said.

 

[Jagson]

" Yeah." He said as he smiled as he sat down. " So this is our new life." he said as he ordered himself an ale. " So what's the game plan?" He asked them.

"Of course I'd love to party with you. Thanks!" Rose said as she opened a menu to offer a party invite to Koopa.

"How are we gonna get out of this?" Rose asked Koopa during this process, wondering what they could do to fix this mess.

 

[Yaspen]

Lexi tilted her head to the side, thinking. "It probably wouldn't hurt to tackle some quests, just so we can get some Col for cooking stuff." She almost suggested that they for a guild, and maybe other people would join up with them.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Koop thought about what they could do. He then looked back towards Rose. "Well it seems the only way is to beat the game so we should try to do that." He explained.

Rose gave a nod to this.

"Sounds reasonable. We'll need to level up. Grinding is key. I suggest we do a side quest first. I also suggest we get at least one more person to the party, maybe two." Rose suggested to Koopa as she waited for him to accept the party invite.

 

[Dapper_Cat]

Dapper_Cat opened his menu to look at the quest progress. "Completed. Good." He murmured before closing his menu. He was surprised that he didn't find many people leaving the Town of Beginnings. Perhaps a lot of them were simply too scared to move on as of yet. Dapper_Cat decided to head back into the Town of Beginnings to purchase a new staff, and maybe some better armor for under his cloak. After he turned in his quest, of course. While strolling through the town, he spotted a familiar face. "Hey, I remember you!" He stated to Rose, giving a wave.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Koop accepted the party invite from Rose. "Oh yeah I forgot to ask. What level are you right now?" He asked.

Rose was about to answer before she turned to a familiar voice. Rose saw Dapper_Cat and greeted him with a smile.

"Hey! Good to see you, say is that offer to join together in a party still open?" Rose asked Dapper_Cat.

 

[Dapper_Cat]

Dapper_Cat gave a smile back. "Of course. In fact, it's open now more than ever." Dapper_Cat stated. "With everything going on, now would be the time where forming a party would be the best course of action. Strength in numbers, right?" He said, giving a shrug. "Anyways, yeah, I'd be happy to party up with you."

"Excellent!" Rose said as she opened up another party invite to Dapper_Cat.

"That makes three of us. This is Koopa for the record." Rose said introducing Koopa to Dapper_Cat and vice versa. Rose felt more comfortable as part of a group rather than being an individual.

 

[~Patriot~]

Casys added, "We should focus on that kind of stuff, but nothing too big." Casys brought up his map and said, "Let's check into an inn before all the rooms are taken." He left the other two only to return a minute later with three waters. "Gotta stay hydrated in the face of imminent death!"

 

[Dapper_Cat]

"Nice to meet you, Koopa." Dapper_Cat said as he accepted the Party request. "So, unless you guys are tired or hungry, I'm thinking that we can make it to the next town before dawn. If we stop by Restaurant, pick up some Kill Quests, and take down everything in our way on the way there, we should get a couple levels and some Col. Every town has at least one tavern where you can pick up these kinds of quests and turn them in. What do you two think?"

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Koop though about what Dapper_Cat said and nodded. "Yeah sounds like a good idea." He then asked the question he asked Rose earlier. "What are you guy's level?" He asked.

 

[Dapper_Cat]

"Level Five." Dapper_Cat replied informatively. He checked his menu to see how far away he was from leveling up. "I have about one fourth of my experience bar full, so I'll need to turn in a couple quests to get to Level Six." Dapper_Cat added. "Okay, Koopa's on board. What do you think, Rose?" He asked. "If you don't want to or are tired, we can rent an inn here for the night instead." He added. He didn't want to make his party members feel forced to go along with anything.

"No, that sounds good. I'm a level five as well. So we should be good." Rose said, with some confidence. So long as they worked together and watched each other's backs, they could do this.

Rose just had to be careful. One costly mistake would mean the end.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Koop looked at his two party members. "Well I actually just turned level 6 earlier today, I play this game a lot." He said before opening his menu. "I only have a tiny bit of my experience bar filled up currently." He explained.

 

[Dapper_Cat]

"Alright, then let's head to the nearby tavern and pick up as many Kill Quests as we can find. Once we grab those and I get myself some new equipment, we can head out." Dapper_Cat said. While the boy would've been fine on his own, Michael liked the thought of traveling with other people, too. In the end, he was glad he decided to join up with Koopa and Rose.

"Sounds good. I could use some new equipment as well." Rose said in agreement as she got herself ready for the journey ahead. Rose took a deep breath to let out some nerves.

I won't let it end here. I will live on. We all will.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Koop was still wearing the starter clothe so he could use some better gear. "Yeah lets get going, the sooner we get the quest the sooner we can get better gear." He said.

 

[Dapper_Cat]

"Right. Have you guys fought the Dire Wolf mini-boss yet? You get a sweet choice of weaponry or armor if you snag the quest before you fight it." Dapper_Cat informed. He motioned to his cloak. "I got this from that quest. And it gives you a helluva lot of experience, too."

 

[jade421]

"No I have not, but that sounds like a useful tip. I appreciate the information." Rose said, showing her gratitude over the tips Dapper_Cat had been willing to share. They were sure to come in handy.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Koop listened to what Dapper_Cat said then looked at his cloak. "Nice, I would like some sweet new armour so let do it." He said as he walked into the nearby tavern and walked to the quest board. He looked at the quests and found the Dire wolf one. "Alright found it." He took the quest. "Ready when you are." He said

Rose gave a smile as she saw Koopa take the Dire Wolf request and gave him a nod.

"I'm ready." Rose said to Koopa, her face filled with determination.

 

[Dapper_Cat]

Dapper_Cat skimmed through the quests. He took all the Kill Quests he could find and shared them with the party. The screen read to Koopa and Rose: "User Dapper_Cat has offered to share several quests with you. Accept?" After sending the Quests, Dapper_Cat headed for the door. "I'm stopping buy the market to get me some better Light Armor. We can all meet up at the town exit once we're ready." He stated as he headed for the shopping district.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Koop saw the message on his screen and accepted the shared quest. "Alright then I'll meet you at the town exit." Koop said to Dapper_cat before walking off.

Rose in turn also accepted the shared quest as she saw Koopa walk off. Rose turned to Dapper_Cat.

"And done. See you at the town exit." Rose said as she, like Koopa before her, walked with the aim to regroup later.

 

[Dapper_Cat]

Dapper_Cat finally made is way to the shopping district. On the way there, he couldn't count how many people he'd seen that had fallen into despair because of their current situation. But Dapper_Cat? He just hummed a tune like today was an everyday occurrence. He knew he wouldn't get anywhere by being depressed and scared. They had to act, otherwise they would all die. He finally found the shop he was looking for. He browsed through everything the shopkeeper had for sale.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Koop arrived at the town exit and saw Rose follow him. "Hey, ready to start the killing quest while we wait for Dapper_Cat?" He asked. Koop then extended his arm to his side with the palm open and a spear appeared. It was a steel spear, with a grey point on a wooden staff.

Rose did a quick supply check, one arrow in her bow at the ready with dozens of others in a holster on her back. Once Rose was sure she gave a nod to Koop.

"Yeah, I'm ready." Rose said to Koop with a confident grin. Rose had to settle her nerves; no use being scared now. She needed to get strong, strong enough to get out of this nightmare.

 

[Dapper_Cat]

Dapper_Cat checked his new outfit out in a nearby building window. He still had the same cloak, but under it was a light green clothing material, with black armor pieces strapped around it. He now had black pants to patch the rest of it, with light armor around his legs and black boots. All the metal was made from a light, flexible material. He had an improved variation of his staff, but it looked the same. He went to the entrance to see Koop and Rose. "A'ight, you two ready?"

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Koop nodded and got ready. "First up, kill 10 Boars." He leaned down a bit. "Lets do this." He said before dashing into the outer area and towards the wild boars. He spun his spear in his hand then slashed one damaging it before upper cutting it while it charged at him killing it. "One down." He said.
