Okay.The same
Alright, thanks. He is in Ragraoth since it's technically the closest to the middle of Necros. While he's not there he would be in Hethia. also note that this doesn't make him the Ragroathian king. He's the Necros King.
Northern.
Where exactly would Olympus, Asgard and Takamaghara be? I can guess where since each country in Necros is based off of a certain theme anyway, but i'm curious, because that gives my characters some options.Oh, sure.
The Blackquill is a peacekeeping organization founded a while back by Ezequiel, Elona and a council of others. They specialize in runic magic. After the first big war (Necros 1) they spent the next four years building a safe haven known as Olympus that anyone from anywhere could come to as long as they weren't hostile. Ezequiel and two soldiers known as James and Falaern Storm (married after the first war) kept up communications with King Avian before he abandoned the throne. Nowadays, the Blackquill is an international peacekeeping organization that works to uphold tranquility across Necros, most commonly being mediators. They also technically count as a kingdom due to Olympus and its later offshoots, including the colonies of Asgard and Takamagahara. The Council still rules, elected by the people with the exception of the chairman, a role passed on by the vote of the Council's own. Operations of the Blackquill and Olympus are conducted by the Council, with any and all major decisions decided by a collective vote. Ezequiel and James serve as generals in the army now, with Falaern retired to raise her two twins - Clarke and Eldri - alongside inheriting Ezequiel's position of current council chairman. Maria, Linda and Max are sub-generals. The Blackquill also has ties to the UNF, with one of their own members - Queen Maple - as the married of King Xavier.
In summation? The Blackquill are a kingdom that accept any who don't mean them harm and are really good mages.
One of my characters is a Hethian-born Navy admiral who abandoned his ship and got cast down to the rank of captain. He was highly looked up to before this. I'm now thinking he or one of my other characters would try to join the Blackquill.Olympus is in Ragroth, and let's set Asgard and Takamagahara in Hethia and Pyke Flovia respectively.
You put two of the 'countries' for Takamaghara. Does that mean you want it to cover parts of both of them or do you mean just one of them? And I agree with Jagson that it should be close to Boie since that is a very Japanese-style name. I feel like the word Asgard conjures up the idea of mountains though, so maybe it's better off in Pyke.let's set Asgard and Takamagahara in Hethia and Pyke Flovia respectively.
You could try one of the places Arabians believe is like Heaven. Babylon works, but I think you should keep to the theme of heavenly places. If it's like the middle-east, they'd have a islamic kind of culture maybe-the highest place in heaven for Muslims is apparently called 'Illiyin' but there's also the word for the afterlife that might sound good.Babylon? While it isn't a home of Gods. Hethia is middle eastern like. And Babylon was a big Empire long ago.
OkayEh, I like Babylon and it still technically fits with the theme through its various fictional interpretations.
Who was Grey talking about? The only forrester Im controlling is in the Great Forest.Grey let out a feignt curse. "Of all the times to not have a damn Forester onboard." He said as he took out his blade and led his men into an attack.
So you're saying Jeremiah would have had to have been from the Great Forest to cast that spell he did. And was that certainly him you were talking about? What are the rules for magic in Necros?Well most magic users that have been in this originated from the great forrest
Thats the essentials. As for rules keep them grounded. Don't be completely OP with Magic.Me and Eveechu actually talked about this earlier today.
Other than the Runes. Magic is mostly found in tomes. There are 3 types of magic via tomes. Light ( heal, protecting etc) Dark ( resurrection via necromancy, draining another's life to keep you're self young, etc) And Elemental those that involve the planet
Ok got it. I was thinking of introducing some of Acurian's servants as dark magic users. I have already introduced one: Ramos Cynder aka George Hill. He was in that one post way back. He wears the skull of a ram and lives in Pyke. Not exactly what I meant. While foresters seen to have a higher percentage of magic users (nearly all of Eeveechues characters) there are others that have used magic outside of the Great Forrest.
Please note that this was written during Necros one
Thats the essentials. As for rules keep them grounded. Don't be completely OP with Magic.
Also Magic drains it's user of stamina. So of say Jeremiah unleashes a completely over the top attack via magic he'll be completely useless for a certain amount of time after wards
The one that leaves the forrest, Lanette Pathorn, is related to Jeremiah, who is also known for being a spellcaster. She is his great niece. Two Forrest scouts investigate near Pyke. One of them gets killed while the other leaves the Forest
Is he talking to Gringull? Who is he talking to? If he is talking to Gringull, how did he get there?Sand offered his hand to the orcashi. "Are you alright?' He asked he gave the orcashi a smile.
Okay.Read the one above that post. Sand first officer of the Shadow boarded the waterfall with his crew to get rid of the rebels.
