Private/Closed Tales of Ender Eye (Fairy Tail RP)

Just as Angela threw out the seeds, Brendan retreated by shooting a blast of Heavenly Body Magic from his hands, propelling him backward and a good distance away from the lavender seeds. Brendan had thought these were the exploding seeds, but with one look, touching or even coming close to the lavender would probably apply some sort of status ailment.

Marc cursed to himself as the electric blast sailed toward him, he wouldn't be able to dodge especially now that he was charging this attack.
Just as the attack was about to hit Marc, the blast of electricity sailed upward and struck Brendan's Thunder Emperor's Spear! "Now Marc!" Brendan roared before quickly falling toward the ground. The mage didn't know how, but he had been affected by the lavender and was losing consciousness.

Marc let out a hefty roar as he unleashed the powerful beam of energy he had been charging up directly toward Angela. Though this came at a cost of leaving Marc with little magic energy left.

"I think you would know by now I'd rather let my actions do the talking."

Viper's hand was coated with position as he unleashed a Poison Dragon Claw as he hoped to catch Eliza off guard and try to deliver a quick slash to the fellow Dragon Slayer as he turned to strike Eliza.

Elaine herself had taken note of the echo as she let out a sigh. Great, a hard task was gonna be even tougher but she had known Eliza enough to know she'd never make anything easy. Elaine still tried to make what room she had work as she used her speed magic to bounce between mountains as she aimed to try and get behind Eliza; her normally flashy steps disrupted slightly by the echo generated by Eliaza as none the less she tried to get in position to land either a follow up blow should the claw strike connect or peruse Eliza if she moved out of the way.

Orion and Fallon regrouped back up together while Windaar and Aquilo still dealt with the battlefield and the Gladiator Angel. The celestial spirit narrowly dodge the rubble that was aimed towards him with great maneuvers of his wings. As for Windaar, he create a wind barrier that deflected most of the snowball and rubble aimed towards him. Unfortunately, Windaar had to let down his wind cyclone/vortex. After being deemed safe from the barrage of rubble and attacks, Windaar quickly put up the wind vortex, once again enclosing the creatures and mages within the area. Windaar stared down at the young humanoid spirit with wings, as if it was his fault. Aquilo simply shrugged, "Sorry bro?." After that the celestial spirit retreated back into his key.

Orion swiftly took out his only bronze key and summoned another celestial spirit on the spot. "Gate of the Sky Holder, I open thee! Atlas!" A man, twice the size of Orion came out of the ground on cue. He was shirtless and the only thing covering his lower half was a piece of cloth that hung between his legs, only tied barely on his lies, threatening to fall. "You called," the titan asked in a calm manner. Way to calm for a a spirit that is practically naked.

"Yeah, delay that angel up there," Orion pointed upwards. "Delay as long as possible, we need a distraction. Work well with Windaar. Defeat Zane." Orion explained to the spirit quickly, but calmly. Atlas nodded in acknowledgement of his objective and immediately got to work. Manipulating the fallen rubble with his earth magic, Atlas created a wall between Orion and Fallon, using the rubble that was originally a wall between Zane and his angel with the rest of the field.

After having built the wall as a cover for the two mages he's working with, Atlas took his focus onto the towering Gladiator Angel. Using his Airspace magic, Atlas focused his palms together and created invisible air blasts that intended to explode onto the Gladiator Angel. Atlas had held the slight advantage here as he's practically in his environment where there's Earth to manipulate everywhere while his Airspace magic is invisible, where the victim practically won't be able to see the attack coming.

Having a wall blocking the two from the rest of battle, Fallon and Orion got to work, talking quickly not having much time for a conversation. "Almost every summoner's weakness is not having the capability of a physical battle." Orion jumped straight to the point. "You and I are exceptions, you knowing martial arts and me with Requip. As for Zane, we've only seen him using his Angels in battle, so he might have a physicality weakness."

Fallon was nodding his head to Orion's information. Fallon realizes that it's true, he hasn't seen Zane in a physical one-to-one fight before. That may just be his weakness right there. Fallon peeked around the giant wall Atlas had made and watched Zane's position. The S-Class was directly under the angel as mist filled his area, covering their sights of the S-Class as well. Zane was well covered and protected.

"So here's my plan," Orion started off.
------------------------------
Angela wasn't able to think of a flower to stop it in time as to how fast it was going and using lots of her magic for the electric flower blast. Angela did the next thing she was able to think up of. Angela made walls of vines. Not singular, but multiple walls. Hopefully it would soften the blow. The blast was still going to go through, but all Angela can do was minimize the damage.

The impeding blast shreds through the multiple walls Angela made and direct contact with the plant mage. "Argh," Angela groaned. The blast ended, leaving Angela with one knee on the ground, in pain from the attack. Angela had skidded meters from her original position. Angela cough, the blast had affected her. "Nice job," Angela said. "But you're going to need to do more than that."

"Bluhen: Aloe Vera," Angela chanted as she cupped her hands around her wounds. A soft green hue emitted from her palms. Angela sighed in relief as she felt her injuries begone and energy replenished. Not long after, Angela was standing on both her feet looking refreshed and ready to go again. "That was crazy, well done you two," Angela clapped for the duo. "You guys really know how to work together well."

Marc fell to the ground still in his take-over and panted profusely, No way... This chick can just brush on attack like that off while I'm sittin' here almost out of magic? Damn. Marc thought to himself. His goal now was to wake up Brendan no matter the cost.
The Take-Over mage acted quickly, noticing Brendan wasn't completely under the spell yet. The mage quickly used his remaining magic to turn into his Mishipeshu form and shoot a big blast water at Brendan, pinning him against the wall, but successfully waking him up.

Brendan jolted awake as the freezing water hit him like a brick wall, though that may have been him slamming into the wall itself, but still, he was now awake. "Thanks Marc!" The mage called out to his partner.
"You better win." Marc said as he reverted back to human and collapsed to the ground from exhaustion, it was now a one on one.

"I will." Brendan muttered before pulling out two regular broad swords and activating his Meteor spell. The floor around Brendan's feet cracked as he shot like a bullet toward Angela and sending a flurry of sword swipes at her. His goal would be to cut through any sort of plants she may throw up as defense while also drawing seven certain magic circles while he sped about.

Eliza caught her breath for a second as she landed and quickly took in how her opponents reacted, Eliza then let out a grin as she heard what Viper said “that’s what I like to hear” Eliza said as she put herself into position “but if you want to speak with your actions don’t go with the obvious move” Eliza added as her tone became more serious and she jumped back high enough for her to flip over Elaine “I expected a little bit more from you Elaine, a behind attack is such a cliche” Eliza said as she landed behind Elaine. Eliza looked around her at the electrical rings flying around the mountain range and lifted up her arms and pointed at two of them she could see with her fingers in a gun shape “Shock bullets” Eliza calmly said as a loud booming sound cane from her fingertips and multiple compressed shots of electricity went shooting out towards the electrical rings and bouncing off of them onto each other before finding a direct course towards Viper and Elaine

Viper and Elaine focused as they saw the electricity that shot out of Eliza's fingers as they bounced off the incoming rings towards them. Elaine channeled her speed magic as she used what limited space she had to try and dodge & weave between the rings & the strikes while Viper generated a second Poison Dragon Clay and began to strike the electric "bullets" with strikes as they closed in on him. Viper tried to keep an eye out for the rings though one managed to get behind him and Viper had to block a bullet as the ring grazed his left shoulder.

"Gah! Alright...let's try this." Viper mumbled to himself as he jumped high into the air and gathered some of his own magic as he glanced down at Eliza.

"Poison Dragon Scale!" Viper called out as he fired dozens of poison dragon scales aimed right for Eliza as he tried to cover the entire area around her immediate area to box her in and ensure that at least some of the scales would hit.

Angela narrowly dodges all of the sword slashes Brendan threw at her, as she was still an S-Class after all. Angela still outclassed the former. She's the trainer. He's the trainee. Angela tried to bring up a vine in front of her to protect herself from incoming attacks, but to no avail, the vines were chopped down by Brendan. He was definitely fast, but with the included Meteor spell, Brendan was even faster than before. Brendan was narrowing on Angela. If her plants can't be effective from a front attack, maybe it'll be more effective from below. Angela, with her sneaky fingers, grew some vines from below and slowly maneuvered the life-life vines to entangle Brendan's foot to ensnare the mage for Angela to buy herself some time.

Angela quickly got away from the mage, still unaware that the latter was busying himself with a drawing of sorts. The plant mage began to retaliate against the requip mage. "Bluhen: Scilla forbesii," Angela chanted. As the words left her, baby blue and white flowers grew beside Angela in a line. On her command, the flowers basted a strong blizzard against Brendan, intending to hinder the latter's movements.

Zane watched on as Orion's celestial spirit had been able to successfully avoid taking damage, however soon retreated back to the Celestial World. Fallon's guardian, however, remained, and Orion had brought forth another Spirit. This one, whom he had not recognized but heard addressed as Atlas, was much bigger than the mages themselves but still quite small compared to the Hammer Angel. Zane realized that the size didn't prove to lessen the Celestial's power, though - as he sent a blast of what seemed to be an Airspace attack at his Angel. The attack was very sudden, causing the Gladiator angel to budge backwards mid-air. The muscular being remained stable, albeit caught off guard, quickly growing irritated.

The boundary of rubble that had served as a defense against Zane's attackers was then shifted into a wall that stood sturdy before Fallon and Orion, impressively done by Atlas. A good amount of mist still surrounded the area though, allowing Zane to keep a decent cover of his surroundings. Obviously, his colossal angel would be quite busy with both Windaar and this new titanous Spirit, and it would be dangerous to allow the two opponents to strategize while comfortably hiding. Fortunately, though, the wall covering the two A-Class mages was only one sided, a mistake on their part.

"Do your best to deal with those two," Zane spoke quietly to his angel, who had been able to understand through mostly via telepathy. "TIme to call on old reliables."

With a nod and a grunt displaying understanding, the Gladiator Angel focused in on the two Spirits before him, once again plowing his hammer downwards into the area near them. It caused the ground to tremble a second time, adding even larger cracks. Dust and rubble were tossed up in the air once more, but this time more as a distraction.

Within a matter of seconds, golden coins had conjured in Zane's hands, glowing brightly as he held them against his chest.

"I release thee into the earth - Divine Messengers! Rain down with your presence. Hounds of the Heavens, fulfill your instincts and seek out the targets!" The blonde chanted, tossing the coins forwards.

They glowed fiercely before materializing into the magic circle in which 10 white-coated round angels jetted outwards. And, as Zane had called, they soared throughout the air - right through the chaotic mist and rubble, heading straight for the wall... where they could smell the essence of humans.

The Messengers moved as a school of fish and looped around the wall, coming face to face with Orion and Fallon -- immediately aiming to bombard them with their whole-body attacks. The S-Class mage had only summoned a small amount in order to preserve magical energy, as dual-angel summoning siphoned quite the amount of energy. However, he figured if the 10 continued to relentlessly attack without ceasing, they should be enough to keep the boys too tied up to plot anything together.

Brendan's confidence grew as he was able to keep pushing back Angela, his speed tactic had seemed to work, Good, all I need to do now is-- Brendan's train of thought was interrupted by a vine entangling itself around his foot, pulling him backward and back on the ground.

The blue-haired mage quickly cut the vine with his sword, but this had bought Angela enough time to back up and blast a powerful blizzard that engulfed him where he stood, though a few seconds later a shimmer could be seen within the blizzard before it was seemingly cut in half, realign Brendan standing in his Glacial King Armor set.

Brendan placed his right hand on top of his left palm and extended seven specific fingers, two from his right, and all five on his left. Seven golden magic circles appeared slightly above the battlefield, each appearing one after the other. "May The Seven Stars Have Mercy on Your Soul!" Brendan roared as the magic circles began to violently glow,

"GRAND CHARIOT!"

Seven beams of incredible, golden light struck the battlefield, shaking the arena with their might.

Flynn smile when Ara spoke to him. "Its good to be confident." He said as he put his hands on the floor. "Flare wall!" He shouted as he wall of fire erupted upwards in front of him and would block the incoming attacks. He then snapped his fingers and many fire orbs appeared around him. "Heat orbs, Go!" He shouted as the orbs curved towards Ara and Cat.

Eliza looked around at the scales which the poison dragon slayer had fired at her, Eliza attempted to jump out of the way of the poison scales but to no avail being hit to the ground by a small barrage of the scales. The all so familiar sting of poison began to make memories of their previous surface in Eliza’s mind “wow! Nice one, a few more of those and you might be able to put me on the run” Eliza stated as she picked herself up off the ground “lets see what else you have up your sleeve” Eliza continued as electricity began to surge from her hands and feet, Eliza drew in a breath of air before rushing towards Viper appearing before him in a matter of seconds and throwing a punch at him.

Ara & Cat's punches were blocked by Flare Wall as they were forced to jump back but had little time to recover before Flynn fired a series of fire orbs that flew after them.

Ara was quick to act, as she began to channel ice magic and formed a path of ice that extended to to the air and had herself and Cat ride on it as they tried to speed around the spheres. Cat however saw an oppertunity as she turned to Flynn while she rode on Ara's ice path and generated some purple flare magic.

"Purple Flare Scatter Shot!" Cat called out as she fired several shots of her purple flare aimed at Flynn while Ara continued to try and move away from where Flynn fired the orbs at them.

Angela widened her eyes and gasped at the spell Brendan had initiated. Shoot! She didn't see him draw them. Maybe during their fight, while he was distracted her with his swords and slashes. Angela retracted her flowers quickly before quickly making a spell up on her own. "Faerie's Garden: Sacred Lotus," Angela chanted aloud, using up most of her magic to bring about the spell and to counter against's Brendan's powerful spell. A giant lotus, double the size of the plant mage, formed midair in front of Angela. The pure white flower with pink tips glowed and charged slowly within the center of the flower. As Brendan fired his Grand Chariot, Angela had countered with Sacred Lotus.

The pure white beam from the flower fired back against the golden beams of the star formation. Angela stood her ground against the beam, fighting back the pain she felt from holding on her own spell. Angela was having the upper hand before, but this spell puts a whole new level to Brendan. Angela began to ease up from the tension, but that soon showed to be a bad sign. As Angela eased up, golden beams of Grand Chariot shot through against the Sacred Lotus, burning up the the flower in the process and gaining a solid direct hit on Angela. A pitched scream can be heard from the explosion.

A few moments after the collision of Angela and Grand Chariot, the smoke cleared up to an Angela kneeling down, clutching her left arm. Groans can be emitted from the female plant mage, clearly from exhaustion and pain. Angela's hair was a mess, draping the left side of her face. Her clothes can be seen ripped and burnt from the attack. Bruises and scars are seen on Angela. Slowly, but painfully, Angela stood her ground still clutching onto herself from pain. "You definitely got game Brendan," Angela complimented through her agony. "But I'm still standing, am I not?" Angela said, showing herself off still having survived the attack of Grand Chariot.

Orion and Fallon were interrupted of their planning as the Messenger Angel gathered themselves among the two mages and started attacking them. Fallon kept them off the duo with his physical combat abilities while Orion had requiped to Infernos Embes Robe and Wand to burn off any enemies that had came close to them. Orion and Fallon were both hit here and there, but they were still able to fight back against the Messenger Angels that were bombarding the duo with headbutts, bites, and punches.

Meanwhile, Windaar and Atlas were holding on a fight of their own against the Gladiator Angel. Windaar closed in the proximity of the area, to lessen the room amount for the people and creatures within. Holding onto the wind vortex was a difficulty. It consumed majority of his energy to keep the vortex ongoing. If he does anything else, the dome would and will definitely break on him, which is not what the Guardian wanted. The Guardian wanted to keep the pressure on the enemy by closing in the space they have to fight. It was a risky move as it traps the allied mages as well, but they had to keep the enemy in the corner somehow.

Atlas dodged a hammer smash from the Gladiator Angel, but it had created a rougher terrain for Atlas to stabilize on. Fortunately for the latter, Earth and Air were his specialty. Palms facing the each, Atlas his hands together, manipulating the earth to close in the cracks and allow Atlas to have an easier terrain to battle with. The battlefield was soon flat again except with three protruding boulders that the angel had kindly break out for him. Lifting the boulders with his magic, Atlas catapulted the boulders towards the giant angel. He soon after shot three finger guns towards each boulder. Invisible air shot the boulders from behind, increasing their power and speed, hopefully damaging the angel enough to send it back to heaven.

Hopefully, unbeknownst to anyone except for Orion and Fallon, a shadow had crept the outskirts of the battlefield, outside of the wind vortex even. The shadow moved along the shadows, sneakily making his way towards a certain S-Class mage. He was outside the vortex, no one could see him, but that means he couldn't see anyone from within either. He was unaffected by the wind vortex, incapable of taking damage in this form of his, but meaning he couldn't attack back either. Another risky play, made by Orion himself, but maybe this spirit could take out Platinum without him knowing.

Many of the ferocious Messenger Angels were sent back to their divine realms as they were burnt and fended off from Orion and Fallon. It took Zane a couple of moments to realize, due to his over-do of smoke screens and distractions, but when he saw that all but 4 have been defeated, he was caught off guard. He decided to move for the first time since the battle started. He began slinking off to the left from the position he had been standing at for the past while, both in order to get a better view of the two other mages and to avoid coming into contact with any remains of the giant boulders being sent towards the Hammer Angel.

After noticing Orion had requipped into a flaming set of armor, Zane held his left palm to his chest, conjuring up 2 more golden coins. He summoned a little over a dozen more Messenger Angels to add to the remaining numbers. They could be very annoying, and every overwhelming if they worked in numbers. The razor-toothed puff balls shot towards the two other summoning mages and aided in the continuation of bombardment. All they had to do was keep the boys hands full until the Gladiator could do away with the two spirits he was facing.

The holy leviathan himself took notice of the boulders heading his way in an extremely fast pace. His facial expression remained stone cold, but his actions were panicked as he thrusted his trusty hammer before him. The giant weapon was able to smash the boulders, but even the debris were wicked in size. The smaller portions of the boulders still pelted at his chest and arms. The angel grunted in pain tremendously, but was able to remain sturdy.

Its going to take a lot more than that to overwhelm my solid ace. Zane thought to himself as he watched Atlas's attempts. He wondered if he should have waited instead of summoning the gigantic being straight off the bat. He simply shrugged - not much that can be done about it now. The blonde wizard figured he could just use this as an evaluation of teamwork among devastating enemies. Something he did notice though, was how problematic the extreme amount of wind being applied to the area was being. It was pretty clear that Fallon had Windaar set up this gale force as a trap - they didn't want Zane or his summons to be able to move around at a distance. That could serve as a difficulty later. And, to be honest, he was sick of the dark and dreary surrounding.

"Do it!" He called out to his seraphic creature, pointing towards the Guardian Monster.

The angel of brute strength rose his large golden hammer high in the air with all four of his arms grasping it, and it began to glow a bright yellow aura.

"Judgement." Was all that the Gladiator Angel said, in a low, rumbling tone that echoed throughout the vortex.

He launched his massive hammer forwards, and it went soaring at rapid speeds through the air like a comet - pinpointing exactly for Windaar.

Viper's eyes widened as Eliza appeared before him in practically no time at all as he only managed to get his poison-magic coated hands up for a guard before Eliza but the force of the blow knocked him back as Viper crashed into one mountain which caused him to cough up as the air had been nearly knocked from his lungs. Viper shook his head as Elaine focused in and channeled her speed magic as she bounced around the mountains though her movement had been restricted by the echos. Still, she managed to get in front of Eliza as she appeared to be aiming to deliver a punch to her friend's face.

Only to fade out, generating enough speed to create an after image as she moved behind Eliza and aimed to deliver a kick to the Dragon Slayer's back while Viper tried to clear the cobwebs as he just managed to dodge one of the electric rings.

Brendan fell to one knee and was forced to require back into his regular clothing. He was exhausted not only from this trial but the previous trials. The blue-haired mage gazed toward Angela, he hated to see her bruised and beaten like that, but she was still standing after all, but if she wasn’t giving in, neither would he.

Brendan wiped the sweat from under his chin and stood up, “Angela...” Brendan muttered before pulling out a single sword, if this fight was truly to go on longer he wanted to conserve as much magic as possible and gather enough to use his final trump card.

“I’m still standing as well, shall we continue?” Brendan responded confidently through his exhaustion before maneuvering into a defensive position, awaiting Angela’s next attack.

Angela watched as Brendan got up, despite the latter's exhaustion from major consumption of magic. Angela was in the same state as him though. Appreciating his diligence, Angela let herself ease up as the tension is released from within Angela. "No need for that," Angela said, raising her arm to stop Brendan and allow the mage to let up. Angela, using up the rest of her remaining magic capacity, chanted a healing spell she used not so long ago. "Bluhen: Aloe Vera."

Cupping her injuries softly, Angela's wounds began to heal once again, but still draining her of her magic. As she was healing herself, Angela began talking to the still conscious Brendan. "As S-Class member of Ender Eye, I judge you as worthy to become an S-Class trial." Angela finished up healing her wounds before making her way towards Brendan to give him the same treatment she had for herself. "Meaning, you passed and survived the S-Class fight."

Angela finished healing Brendan and slumped down, tired from the fight. "You're good you know that, capable of earning the rank of the S-Class."
----------------------
Windaar's eyes widened from his stationary position as the hammer practically flew to him. Windaar took an immediate direct hit of the massive hammer from the Gladiator Angel. With that the force of the direct hit, not only Windaar had disappeared, being sucked back into Fallon, but also caused the vortex to dissipate. The storm eased up as the bright sunlight shone into the domain once again for everyone. Which was a problem for the shadow that was once outside the vortex, blind from anyone. Now the dome had eased up, the shadow could only resort to hiding in shadows, behind trees and crevices, etc. The figure was closer to Zane definitely, but he was still quite a distance away.

Meanwhile for Orion and Fallon, the Messenger Angels were still at it, only a few of them remaining. The two were holding on fairly well, that is until Fallon felt a huge pang of pain out of nowhere. The Guardian Summoner collapsed onto his knees, clutching his chest as he felt agonizing pain. Fallon peered over to where Windaar was positioned, only to find in place was the Gladiator Angel's hammer. It made sense to Fallon now. Windaar, after all, is practically a part of Fallon. Whatever pain Windaar felt was also transferred over to Fallon, one of the major weaknesses of Guardian Summoners such as himself.

Orion caught a glimpse of this and realized what had happened, as the two had a talk prior to the S-Class Promotion about each other weaknesses. Using his wand, Orion quickly took out the remaining four Messenger Angels, who were being pests at this point, with a simple Flare Explosion of his. Orion quickly tended to Fallon, seeing if the latter was okay. Apparently not as Fallon was still groaning in pain, his fingers clutched onto his chest, almost breaking skin at that point. Fallon shook his head as Orion tried to tend to the mage. Orion still had a battle going on after all. "I'm out right now," Fallon explained. "Windaar held the vortex so long, consuming almost all of my magic. You can do this solo. Go!" Fallon pressured Orion into the fight, making the latter ignore his pain.

Orion tore his gaze away from the Summoner and put his focus back onto the battle. Sorry... Orion thought to himself before analyzing quickly at this situation at hand. Zane was still around the same position, moved quite a bit but still in the same general vicinity. Windaar and Fallon is taken out. The Gladiator Angel is still strong and going. Atlas is getting tired, barely making a dent into the angel. His Spirit that he summoned is out there hiding somewhere, still waiting for the perfect moment to attack the Angel Mage.

First thing first, Orion needed something to take out the thirty feet Gladiator Angel. If Fallon was here, his Juggernaut, Eguls, would have been solid as it was practically the same size as the angel, but there are cons to it. Fallon is currently out of magic, and he can barely control this giant eagle as Orion recalled during Pandemonium. Orion was thinking which spirits could deal with the monster. They don't have to necessarily defeat it, but distract it enough for Orion can go all out on Zane himself with the help of the hiding spirit. Suddenly Orion thought up of an idea, but he doesn't recall if it works or not. It's better to try it out now than later.

Orion closed the Bronze Gate of the Skyholder before pulling out his silver key. "Gate of the Hell Hound, I open thee," Orion called out. "Cerberus!" A magic circle open up in front of the Celestial Mage and out appeared a small puppy with three heads, each of them hanging a tongue out. Cerberus began to go all over Orion, snuggling up against his leg. Orion ignored it as he tried to remember what was it that he saw within his books. On cue, Orion slowly said the words.

"Guardian of the Underworld, cross River Styx and ravage on the lost souls of the mortal realm!"

The three-headed puppy froze in it's track. A magic circle opened up beneath the spirit and engulfed it within a crimson flame. The flame grew bigger and bigger until it had stopped growing. Slowly the fire burned out and revealed a gigantic three-headed dog. Cerberus was practically about a few feet under the Gladiator Angel. The old black fur of the puppy had soon become a solidified skin, filled with cracks and crevices. A spine was protruding on Cerberus' back, as if they were giant stalagmite. Each dog eyes were glowing red as lava spilled from the dog's mouth as if they were drool. It's muscles were bulging and sharp claws glisten in the sunlight. A collar on each head, spiked. Cerberus gave a loud roar before charging at the first thing it saw: the Gladiator Angel.

Brendan plopped down next to Angela after she finished healing him and took a deep breath before exhaling, "Thanks, but I couldn't have done it without him." Brendan said, glancing toward Marc for a moment, "One. More. Trial." Brendan muttered before sitting back and resting his weight on his hands.

"Though.." Brendan said in a somewhat curious tone, "I never thought I would've battled you. I had no idea you were even an S-Class mage! I just thought you were the cute bartender, you know," the mage said, "But, I'm glad it was you." Brendan finished with a smile before gazing back into the seemingly infinite sky.

Flynn looked at the purple fire spread shot flames come towards him. He put his arms towards them. "Blaze Surge!" He shouted as he shot a blast of fire in a cone shape in front of him and countered Cat's attack. "Flame control!" He shouted as the orbs started to curve towards Ara and Cat from multiple angles.

Angela chuckled. "Oh sweetheart," Angela began. "There's lots of things your and many members of the guild still don't know about yet." Angela stared off into the sky with Brendan, admiring the vastness of the open air along with the emptiness within the forest. "I don't like to resolve my issues through violence and fighting, only if it's necessary and if Master Ed asks of me to. But during those extra time I don't go out on quests and such, I work the bar. You don't realize how many members of our guild buys from there and how many nonmembers come to get a drink or a meal. It's a solid, stable, money-making job. So I don't usually have to fight during my time as a bartender."

Angela turned to the Requip and Heavenly Body Magic user as she realized something from moments ago. "Also, you think I'm cute?" Angela smirked a little bit before moving on. "Well I lad it was you too, you aren't looking bad yourself Mr. Fernandez."

The battle was pretty much completely under Zane's control. He was a little worried, because he was sure that at least Orion would give him quite the run. It wasn't a serious, life versus death battle, but as much as he enjoyed the two boys' strategies and tactics, he would have enjoyed seeing more of their up front strength to back up those plans. From what he could tell from the distance, Fallon had actually somehow been injured. It wasn't from the Messengers, as those had been wiped out fairly quick. The S-Class then took notice that it occurred whenever the wind vortex died down, as soon as his Gladiator angel had taken out Windaar.

It made sense, now that he thought about it. Fallon must suffer the same amount of pain as his summons upon defeat. It was actually similar to the origins of Zane's own magic. When researching the origins of summoning angels, the blonde had come across an old log claiming that before the conflicts of the Zentopian Church affected the very core of several magical inter-workings, those who summoned powerful angels would suffer a shortened life span in the event that an angel was defeated on their behalf - in order to atone for the casters past sins. It was intense, but all that Zane would undergo now when one of his powerful summons were defeated was a mild headache/energy drain. It seemed Guardian Magic had similar drawbacks.

As it stood now, Orion was face standing Zane, having sent Atlas back to the celestial world. Fallon seemed to be down and out for a good while... maybe he shouldn't have had the Gladiator take such drastic measures to take out Windaar. Orion must've had a plan, because there was no way he was about to surrender. After a few short, still moments of the sun's bright light shining down on the terrain, Orion whipped another key out and called upon another Spirit. Zane and the Gladiator Angel both watched, remaining still as Orion chanted out to Cerberus, the Hell Hound. This sounded like a very interesting match up.

However, merely an energetic puppy was brought into the realm. Well, Zane thought it was a puppy... until the small dog had suddenly grown into a gigantic fiery beast practically the same size as the Gladiator - truly a terrifying transformation. What a pairing: warrior of the heavens facing off against the guardian of the underworld. The mage of white arts was just about to call out to his Angel, when suddenly the three headed monster charged with all of its might. The Gladiator tried to grab the muscular dog by one of its throats, but this just caused the two to fall to the ground, shaking the mountain as they wrestled.

It was like watching a battle of titanic gods. Zane was too awe-struck to actually say anything, he was too enveloped into the fight. That is - until the Gladiator Angel became quickly exhausted and weakened. He had sustained himself for a long time up to this point, and the Hell Hound was proving to be overwhelming. Within a matter of minutes the angel fizzled away after shouting loudly. A pressure started forming in Zane's forehead due to the defeat, but it wasn't enough to disable him.

"Ah, very nice, Orion!" He called out to his guild mate. "I was waiting to see something like that! I'm sure it took a load of energy to call upon that Spirit."

He, in turn, brought his left hand to his chest, conjuring up a couple of golden coins and throwing them forwards. The coins shone brightly as they skipped across the mountain range and came to a soft landing directly underneath Cerberus.

"I call out to you, come forth from the light. Emit your presence, embrace thy holy light. Angel of the Sun, Shamsiel!"

The coins flashed brightly and upwards from them shot out a being at high speeds, delivering an uppercut blow to one of Cerberus's heads. The being then flew backwards, landing on two feet, causing dents within the earth beneath it. Revealed standing there was a rather... odd looking Angel. Shamsiel was a cherub that somewhat resembled a baby, with large wings and a pompous hairstyle. He was still very large, but much smaller than the Gladiator and Cerberus. His skin was of cold stone, and had two small pig-like creatures perking from his hair. A hardy laugh emitted from Shamsiel, but his mouth was only frozen in a smile.

"Hey hey hey!" The angel sounded, standing boldly with hands on his hips. His voice was very deep and static-like.

"Shamsiel, my great cherub. I need you to take down that Hell Hound, as I'm sure you guessed. He's all yours to play with." Zane spoke.

"A play date? Its my lucky day!" Shamsiel responded, holding out his palms towards Cerberus, storing up an orb of golden light. The two piglets also gathered solar energy infront of their noses, before all three of them released a combined stream of light blasting towards Orion's celestial spirit.

Eliza froze for a second after she saw Viper fly away because of the force from her punch. Eliza snapped back into reality as Elaine appeared in front of her, Eliza instinctively went to go for a punch before feeling Elaine’s kick hit her back causing Eliza to tumble down the mountain a bit before she caught herself and stood back up “nice kick” Eliza commented as she regained her composure “but now that you’ve given me a taste of what you can do I’d like to return the favour” Eliza continued before rushing up to Elaine and slamming her foot into the ground causing the mountain to begin to crack and crumble apart making electricity coming out of the cracks in an attempt to put Elaine off her guard before going in to kick her in the side

"I see," Brendan began, "In that case, I'm glad a worthy, S-Class mage is running our bar." Brendan finished with a smile. It was still so strange to Brendan that talking and just being with someone could comfort and calm him so much, though he only felt this was when he was with Angela.

The blue-haired mage lightly blushed and looked straight ahead, "Of course.." He muttered before realizing that she had basically just said the same thing, "T-thanks." Brendan responded, these types of things the mage found embarrassing, thanks to his parents, who were basically the same in situations like this.

Cerberus hissed as the shining beam of light hit him on one of the heads. Unfortunately, for the enemy, the Guardian of the Underworld wouldn't fall that easily. Sure, the beam beam did sting, as show the huffing and puffing of the canine. But the attack had only caused the Hell Hound to get angrier and more berserk than it already was. Each of Cerberus' head emitted a loud roar as to intimidate the enemy at hand. Each head conjured a spherical energy of dark mass. Fully charged up, the heads released their own individual beam. The three rays of darkness collided into one giant laser beam, fired at an immense rate towards the smaller angel with piglets within it's hairdo.

As Zane, Orion, and practically everyone else was busy with the fight of the giants, the shadowy figure had came closer to Zane and was within range for a closed range combat. Watching as Zane seemed distracted with the fight among otherworldly creatures, the shadow figured that was his time to attack. Jumping out of his position behind within a stone crevice, the figured revealed itself to be Pluto, the Underworld King himself.

The spirit revealed himself with his dark-gray long bangs and short stubble beard. The spirit was wearing a dark purple toga that reached his mid thighs. Atop the toga were some armory to protect himself which consisted a black gauntlet, knee boots, and shoulder plates. He wore a dark grey cape that was attached to his shoulder plates with skull shaped pins. Clutched in his hands was his own scythe, that looked exactly like Orion's Nightmare Scythe, except that it has a dark ruby red blade unlike Orion's dull grey blade.

Pluto landed behind the Angel Mage and rushed forward, scythe in hand ready to slash the mage from behind. Pluto plunged forward and reverted to his shadow form to gain speed and immunity to physical attacks that Zane may throw at the spirit. The only part of Pluto that wasn't fully turned into a shadow was his right hand, where he clenched his scythe tightly to not lose grip and aimed towards Zane.

Orion found himself ripping his gaze away from the battle of the beasts and sees Pluto had finally made his move to attack Zane. Orion jumped into action, read to join Pluto in the physical battle as well. "Requip: Golden Wing Armor," Orion mumbled to himself, feeling the surge of energy the set of armor gave to him. Clutching onto the katana tightly, Orion rushed onto the scene with immense speed. The Golden Wing always gave him the speed boost and flight he needed thanks to Mercury, whose magic was based on speed.

Orion arrived within seconds to where Pluto was attacking from behind, leaving Orion to deal with the front. Midair, Orion requiped once again. "Requip: Crimson Blood Buster." Orion kept his Golden Wing Armor, thus maintaining his speed boost from the armor, but in his hand held a large buster sword, meant for hard hitting attacks. The buster sword felt heavier than it supposed to be as Orion wasn't wearing the armor meant to support it, but he'd have to deal with it. Orion charged in the air, in a forty-five degree angle to attack from the front with the buster while Pluto finally made it to his back, ready to slash at any moment.

"Bring it ooohhhhhhh woah!" Elaine started to say, though her moment of trash talk had been cut off when Eliza cracked the mountain which caused electricity to seep through the cracks as Elaine focused on the priority of not getting shocked; which naturally left her open to Eliza's kick which had sent her flying back as she crashed to a different section of the mountain.

"Poison Dragon Fog!"

Viper in turn aimed to take advantage of this as he unleashed a plume of poison gas from his mouth as he aimed to cover Eliza with it which would serve to try to poison her further and limit her vision if it connected. Not to mention buy Elaine time to recover from the blow that Eliza just gave her which could give them a chance to regroup.

"Water Slicer!" Ara exclaimed as she shot multiple discs of water at the fiery orbs that were headed their direction. All of the orbs then faded into steam.

Ara then looked over at Flynn, the strongest S-Class mage of Ender Eye. It was obvious that his title wasn't any kind of joke, but still, Ara had to win this fight. She had to prove her self-worth and independence.

I am not just the daughter of Juvia and Gray Fullbuster. I am Ara Fullbuster! I am an Ender Eye mage that was chosen as a nominee to become an S-Class wizard! And I will become an S-Class mage!

Ara then analyzed her situation as she rode upon her ice slide and kept an eye on Flynn. Cat's magic seemed to be ineffective as Flynn's magic doesn't just allow him to create and attack with his own flames but he is also able to control them to his will. Flynn's magic was exactly the same as Totomaru from the expelled S-Class team from Phantom Lord, the Element Four. Uncle Natsu was able to defeat him with his fire magic, but Ara didn't know if Cat had the same capabilities. Would Ara have to exclude Cat from the fight?

No! Cat and I have gone through these past few days together training for this exact moment! I know we can both do this together!

"Cat, I have a plan," Ara said, "But we have to be on high alert at all times. We can't underestimate Flynn whatsoever." Cat nodded, and Ara leaned over her to whisper the plan.

After a few moments, Ara and Cat then jumped off of the ice slide, and they grasped each other's hand. "Purple Flare Scatter Shot!" exclaimed Cat as she shot her spell towards Ara. "Water Slicer!" Ara exclaimed as she shot her spell at Cat's. The two spells then collided, leaving off steam everywhere. Ara and Cat could not be found by the naked eye.

"Purple Flare Eruption!" "Ice Make: Hammer!" exclaimed both mages as both of their attacks seemingly came out of nowhere and were headed towards Flynn. The both mages were still hidden beneath all of the steam.

"Oh relax, puppy puppy! We can both play with our zappy lazers!" Shamsiel called, his robotic sounding voice growing more enthusiastic.

The angel took notice to the large beam of darkness shooting towards him, and once again charged up a large gathering of light energy in within his stone palms. The tiny pigs did the same as well, shooting the streams forward alongside Shamsiel's. The three separate blasts collided with Cerberus's energy beam, causing both attacks to branch out and implode sideways.

Shamsiel, easily growing bored at a fast rate, slammed his fist into his palm.

"Lets play another game! This one is getting us, uh, no where!!" The pompadour angel called, crushing more earth beneath him as he stomped his foot.

Zane was enthralled by the interaction of the two summons. Perhaps, too distracted. Again. His strength was definitely not remembering he was in the middle of a battle in which he was supposed to be evaluating the competitors. His decision for Fallon was made up, but Orion was still going strong.

Amidst his train of thought, he noticed Orion coming in hot with a requipped set of armor and large sword. He was moving fast, very fast. Zane smiled, stepping backwards and preparing his arms for another small summon. However, just as he was in the middle of conjuring up coins, he was struck from behind. It took Zane by complete surprise, and he went flying a couple feet forwards.

"A-agh!" He called as he stumbled to gain an upright position on the side of the mountain.

Zane turned quickly as he was able to recollect his posture, noticing that it was another one of Orion's Celestial Spirits. The Scythe was strong, and he immediately felt a painful throbbing in his back. Orion had figured out the perfect way to take advantage of Zane's weak physique. The fact that Orion was suited up and prepared for a double-team kind of made him nervous. If he allowed the two to swoop in for close combat, he would surely lose the battle. Thankfully, though, Zane had planned for this type of situation due to the several circumstances that enemies would locate his weakness and exploit it.

"You bastard," He called, chuckling. "That was impressive! You took the perfect opportunity to strike when the option presented itself. However, I feel like every battle is like a giant, personalized game of cards..." He spoke, clasping his palms together before him. A faint golden light starting emitting from inside of them as 3 golden coins were formed.

Suddenly, in the middle of Shamsiel's rambling, he had began to fade away, being sent back to the heavenly realm by his summoner's will.

"Everyone has their own deck. And within those decks, everyone has their own specific types of cards. Trumps, Jokers, Aces..." Zane opened his palms, the coins levitating upwards, glowing brighter and brighter each second.

"And I'm about to show you my Wild."

As he finished speaking, the coins instantly flashed and a massive wind kicked up. The clouds above began to separate, and mist once again rapidly filled the mountain. Zane closed his eyes and began chanting rapidly as two magic circles formed. One golden seal above his head, and one lavender below his feet.

"Come - not into the night... but by my name reveal your light! Oh, Angels and Harolds' victory - Barakiel! I Summon Thee! Calling upon nature's own will within me, I active the Sacred Art of Astral Mages and receive divine empowerment, becoming one with the seraphic entailment!"

Blinding white light violently filled the mountain range for many moments, the wind only growing more severe. A slender and feminine, pure white, three-headed angel materialized through the golden magic circle. It adorned a long, flowing white robe and shining long hair of the same color. Its two lengthy wings spread out gracefully to its sides. It hovered before Zane, who was currently enveloped in a bright purple aura with black hues. He began rising up in mid air, eyes remaining closed, face to face with Barakiel. The angel's white aura radiated at the same exposure as Zane's, until he reached out with both hands and cupped them around one of the Seraph's heads. Instantly his purple aura overfilled the area, taking ribbon-like forms and flowing wildly in the wind. In a matter of seconds, Barakiel was vanished - the only visible thing left was Zane levitating within a shroud of mist. His hair contained streaks of white, and several white tattoos enveloping both of his forearms.

He opened his eyes, his cloak floating upwards due to the amount of magical energy being exuded. The astral embodiment spell had worked. He had successfully fused Barakiel's own abilities with his own. Due to the spell's drawbacks, there was no way Barakiel could remain physically present when fusing magical energies with Zane. And this definitely was not an easy feat to accomplish, using up and incredible amount of power. Zane didn't want to drag the battle out too much longer, so he wanted to see how Orion would fare against him in this form, or if he would allow himself to be overwhelmed.

The S-Class grinned widely and stretched his right arm outwards. Immediately, a substantial amount of light began swirling about within his palms, growing into a specific shape. Once the magic energy finished gathering, it was formed into a large, one-headed axe. Its own essence radiated a brilliant glow, its length just slightly longer than Zane's own body. The axe-head and its sharp edges dazzled lustrously.

Zane then turned his focus towards the Cerberus spirit, and swiftly took off in mid air. If he were to deal combat with Orion and Pluto, this large hound would have to be taken care of quickly and efficiently. He zoomed across the sky and headed straight for a parallel angle in which all three of the Spirit's necks lined up. Rearing his luminescent battle-axe backwards, a pulse of energy shot out behind Zane, boosting him faster in the air. As soon as he was close enough in range, the blonde grunted and launched the axe of pure luminescence forwards.

It streaked across the sky, leaving a blazing trail of solar energy behind as it travelled horizontally... aiming to glide across the center of all three of the Hell Hound's necks.

Eliza looked around the area as a thick purple fog began to engulf the battle field, Eliza quickly began to dart up higher to escape the fog “not this again” Eliza said annoyed as she began to gag from the last time she experienced the poisonous fog. When Eliza reached the tallest point she could get to she looked back to see the fog still rising and a battlefield covered in a cloud of purple gas, Eliza closed her eyes and took in her surroundings using her dragon slayer senses to see if she could find Viper and Elaine though only being able to smell the stench of the poison fog she managed to pick up what she thought was the front sound of footsteps “here goes nothing” Rliza said she she took a deep breath and began to dash down towards the sound preparing for battle if she found someone

"Poison Dragon Talon!"

Viper seemed ready for Eliza's charge, as the moment she entered the poison fog Viper moved forward and aimed to deliver a kick with his foot coated in poison magic as the goal was to kick the air out of her lungs and force her to breath in some of the poisonous fumes. Though the force of the kick would also knock Eliza out of the fog if it connected, though that also seemed to be part of the plan.

Elaine stood waiting just outside the fog, as she paced back and forth and listened to the sounds of footsteps inside while she also kept an eye on Eliza. The second she went in, Elaine moved to the spot outside the fog as she was behind Eliza's general line of direction. If Viper kicked Eliza and if it connected, Elaine aimed to use a high speed kick to knock Eliza back into the poison fog and the battle may end up as a game of volleyball; seemed that the pair had tried this combo plan to try and get one up on the S-Class Dragon Slayer. Though how it worked in practice remained to be seen.

Orion watched in shock as Zane pierced the giant Hell Hound's neck. The Hell Hound squealed in pain as it's body began to disappear. starting from the neck and expanded to the rest of it's body. Lava drool began to pool on the ground, as if Cerberus had gotten a sudden paralysis. Soon, the body had disappeared back into the Celestial Realm. Orion's jaw was practically on the ground. He knew spirits aren't capable of dying, but to experience that pain itself, Orion shivered at the though and had to apologize to Cerberus later on as soon as he defeats Zane and move on to the next trial portion.

That is, if he is able to defeat Zane though. If Orion was honest, he was absolutely terrified of Zane at the moment, but he wasn't willing to give up yet. Another confession by Orion, Zane was absolutely beautiful at this state, angelic in fact. Zane didn't necessarily get a transformation as much, but the spell Zane did had such a strong effect on Orion, it was as though as if he was being blessed. Talk about beautiful but deadly.

"Pluto, go back to the Spirit World," Orion commanded the Underworld King. The pale emo face of Pluto gave emotion for once, a look of surprise.

"But Ori-," Pluto was about to say before he was interrupted by Orion.

"Please." Orion said, not taking his eyes off Zane for a moment at all. Pluto stared at the Celestial Mage for a moment before only nodded in understanding of his owner before going off to the Celestial World as demanded by Orion. Orion only winced as he still recalled what happened Cerebus. He wasn't going to risk it. It looked painful, even if it wasn't actually. But that wasn't a risk Orion was about to take.

Once Orion was alone with the boosted Zane, Orion requiped once more. He changed into his White Knight Armor and Axe, given to him from Venus, the Mistress. The armor was specially made by Venus reflect magic back to his enemies, a magic based off her own. It wasn't necessarily Copy Magic, but it did give the enemy a taste of their own medicine. What Orion hoped here was to deflect whatever Zane would throw at the mage.

Orion was wearing a a tradition white paladin's outfit, but as it was Venus' armor, there are some Venus details here and there. Instead of a helmet, a rose flower crown was atop his head. Instead of a black or gold lining, there was a rose gold lining on his cape and axe. The handle of the axe was endorsed glowing pink rings. Orion's breastplate was missing, exposing his chest. There was lots of revealing areas for skin. Okay, maybe it wasn't a traditional White Paladin armor. Orion still needs to talk to Aphrodite about this. But last time he tested it out, it was working like a charm, despite the exposing armor.

Orion watched Zane in midair still, glistening like the actual angel he was at this point. Orion cocked an eyebrow and smirked. "Come at me S-Class mage."

Flynn took a step back when the steam erupted from Ara and Cat's attacks. "Restricting my vision, good move." He complemented before putting his hands on the floor and smirking. "But its going to take more than that to stop me!" He shouted as flames erupted from a magic circle at his feet. "Spiral eruption!" He shouted three pillars of fire emerged and spiralled around Flynn, countering the attacks that were launched at him.

Eliza didn’t have a moment to react before taking the full force of Vipers attack, as all of the air left Eliza’s body she felt herself leaving the ground and flying up into the air and up to the top of the cloud. When Eliza finally emerged from the cloud of poison she struggled to catch her breath as the wind was instantly knocked out of her by a super speed kick from Elaine sending her on course into the thick purple fog “clever” Eliza gasped before falling back into the cloud of poison fog where she assumed Viper would be waiting to deliver another strike “it’s a smart strategy I’ll give them that, being this coordinated after knowing each other a few weeks is impressive... but if I were to go down this easily it would put shame on the title of an S-class wizard” Eliza told herself in her head as electricity began to form around her arms, Eliza then began to inhale a large amount of the fog that she was falling into in order to give her some vision and partially clear the battle field below then quickly Eliza flipped her body in mid air so she was facing Elaine

“THUNDER DRAGONS STORM CLOUD!”

Eliza struggled to yell as she then propelled the fog she inhaled at Elaine before continuing to flip and shooting a shower of thunder and lightning towards the ground.

Suddenly, just as things had started to get a tad more intense after Cerberus's defeat, Orion seemed to have instructed Pluto to return to the Spirit world. A very odd decision, as Zane himself would have preferred to have another helping hand if the roles were reversed - but he figured Orion had a strategy in mind, and he was excited to see what it was.

The S-Class mage still suspended in mid-air among a radiating, misty aura, observed as his opponent as he underwent a stellar transformation once again. This time, when finished, Orion was decked out in a noticeably stunning set of armor, with beautiful designs and even alluring rose gold accents - personally one of Zane's favorite colors. Despite its pleasing aesthetic, Zane had a feeling that there was a prominent reason in which that specific requip was chosen. He wasn't sure what, but he knew he'd have to keep caution. Orion almost got the upper hand before, Zane couldn't slip up again or else he would have lost due to simply being too comfortable, deeming him not worthy of his own rank.

Zane returned Orion's confident comment with a silent grin of his own. His piercing blue gaze laid directly upon Orion as he studied him for a short minute, until he suddenly shot forwards. The blonde mages body cut through the air, blazing an aluminate streak of light behind him as he came up on Orion. The tattoos on his arms and hands began glowing brighter than the rest of his body as he gathered light in his palms that seemingly took on an electric-like form, zapping around his fingers and emitting crackling sounds as he drew closer. Zane sliced both arms horizontally, sending multiple waves of sharp light pulsing towards the Celestial Mage before him.

Orion clutched onto his White Knight Axe tightly, ready to deflect the move. Zane came in at an extremely fast rate, trailing a glowing hue behind himself. Orion clenched his teeth. This is now or never. As the barrage of light came towards Orion. That's when he made his move. Using the Axe in hand, Orion skillfully used the Axe to protect himself from any incoming projectiles by slashing back at the waves of light. One. A wave got deflected back at Zane. Two. Orion slashed back at the light, once again repelling the projectile towards the Angel Mage. Three. That one was a close call. Almost gotten him when he got distracted a bit. The rest of the wave either had busted him up or dodged him.

Orion was visibly tired at this point. Summoning two silver spirits, one bronze, and one diamond had taken a huge portion of his magic out of him. It wasn't the summoning that was tiring, but it was keeping them out for a long time that kept him tired. They all had stayed out for a long amount of time. Plus with the requip he had to use. The Infernos Embes Robe, Golden Wing Armor, Crimson Blood Broad Sword, and now currently, the White Knight Armor. Orion was really tired and bruised up from the fight. Zane was a formidable S-Class mage, maybe one he won't be able to beat now, but maybe one in the future.

(If you can defeat Orion now, that would be lovely lol)

Light shot back at Zane, actually causing an interruption with his flight. The lighting embodied energy, instead of knocking its target off his feet, hit Zane with full force as it was repelled off of Orion's armor.

"Ah!" Zane gasped, feeling the burn of his own magic as he blasted him in the chest.

He was pushed back in the air a decent yard or two, tumbling to the ground. He was in shock, as he didn't expect Orion's armor to be able to do such a thing as withstand that much pure magic at a time. Zane stood, however, and reignited the glistening aura around him and flew straight upwards. He gazed down at Orion, who was about to be down and out. He was tired, and with good reason. He had called upon a good number of powerful spirits and they were sustained for a long period - two at a time at one point. Zane himself was beginning to feel a throb in his head from the angels and the transformation taking huge gaps out of his energy. Perhaps he went too far resorting to such attacks.

It was time to finish. As wind breezed throughout the mountain range, Zane had made a silent agreement with himself. He would dish out one last attack towards Orion, and if he could withstand it, the S-Class mage would pass him. He rose both hands in front of him in the form of a gun - his two index and middle fingers touching as they aimed at Orion. His eyes and the purple-white tattoos on his arms once again glowed brightly, as divine light began gathering in an orb at the end of his fingers.

"Now!"

The orb immediately shot out a powerful stream of light, swirling in circular motion as it traveled diagonally to the celestial wizard. It quickly slammed square into the boy's torso, causing a bright hue to emit upon impact. Zane watched from above as debris settled, revealing a noticeable amount of cracks within Orion's armor, and the bruises marked on his body. It was pretty obvious that he couldn't continue at this rate. He actually felt pretty guilty.

Zane began to slowly descend on to the ground, the mist and light fading as he landed. The markings on him began to recede until nothing was visible on his arms anymore, his hair returning to its full natural pale yellow. He approached Orion.

"Ah, now that was quite the fight, my friend. It was actually a lot of fun, if I'm being honest. The thing is... missions that we as S-Class wizards are required to attend require much, much more power than what I have demonstrated, and a lot more endurance. It requires analyzing every single aspect of any situation and having several plans to execute just in case things take unpredictable turns. You battled great, but unfortunately I believe you have lost in this portion of the Trials."

"Oh shi..."

Eliane had little time to do much else as Eliza sprayed the poison fog right at her as she had no time to react beyond closing her mouth and plugging her nose as she was hit with the poison fog and forced back which left Viper alone.

Viper himself had been shocked that Eliza would willingly breath in more of the fog and even more so when she used it against Elaine. Eliza was rather bold, perhaps reckless, but she showed why she was an S-Class Mage with this endurance and quick thinking as Viper moved back as lightning began to strike the ground around him as the poison field began to clear a bit due to Eliza's actions as Viper managed to avoid the lightning only for one of the electric rings of Eliza's earlier echo to strike.

"GAH!"

Viper felt a painful jolt surge through his body as the electricity struck before he jumped away from the ring as he took a moment to try and shake off the damage; though a lingering stinging pain refused to die down so quickly.

None the less, Viper focused on Eliza as he coated both hands with Poison Dragon Claws and jumped in the air as he aimed to take advantage of her mid-air position as he aimed to deliver twin Dragon Claw slashes to the Thunder Dragon Slayer.

Orion laid down, flat on his back, armor full of cracks and so did his axe. He let out a load groan, all coming from exhaustion, pain, and disappointment. His hair was a disheveled mess, his skin was full of scars and bruises. What a way to go out. What mattered though was that Orion tried his best and didn't give up. I guess this is another loss for the S-Class trials. Orion thought to himself. There could be next time for him to become S-Class. Orion continued laying there, his chest heaving up and down from his heavy breath intakes.

Orion, with whatever remaining magic he had left, requiped back into his original attire while still laying down on the ground. "That was a great fight Zane," Orion said all of a sudden as he stared off into the sunny skies above him. He didn't want to seem as a petty person to complain from a loss. A loss is a loss after all. "It was unfortunate I lost though. Guess I still have long ways to go before getting to S-Class."

The celestial mage turned to where Fallon was safely laying away, a long distance off the mountain that they were planted on. Not surprisingly, Fallon was sleeping under the nice shade of a tree. That Monster Summoner can sleep through practically anything. But he did take a huge hit after all, he's most likely resting for magic replenishment. Orion was afraid he's going to have to disappoint the Monster Summoner with the loss of his.

Though it couldn't be seen by Flynn, Ara had a smirk on her face. Perfect. Just as I had planned.

"HEAVY RAIN!" exclaimed Ara, as a cloud appeared beneath Flynn and his pillars of flames. This had also caused all the steam in the room to go away. Rain then started pouring rain down on the pillars, which then caused steam to form around Flynn once more, but this time the steam formed around Flynn as some kind of wall. This should in turn cover his vision, leaving him vulnerable to any kind of attack.

I'm glad that I predicted his move! Since he wouldn't know which side to attack, he would then just attack from all sides leaving him surrounded by his own flames. This then brought me the opportunity to combine my magic with his, just like I have been doing with Cat, but since he has his ownself surrounded this combination should leave him trapped due to his own magic!

"Cat! It's now or never!" Ara exclaimed. "ICE MAKE: GIANT HAMMER!" Ara then made a gigantic hammer made of ice, and she then exclaimed, "WATER SLICER!" The sharp-edged water, then started forming around the ice hammer creating a devastating weapon. "PURPLE FLARE VOLCANIC ERUPTION!" exclaimed Cat as purple flare erupted from underneath Flynn.

The both attacks were then finally launched towards the S-Class flame user.

Eliza began to choke and cough from the poison fog which had begun to take affect. Eliza quickly regained her breath before noticing the sight of the poison dragon slayer coming towards her, his arms covered in a purple substance, struggling to react in the air Eliza managed to just put her arms up in an attempt to shield herself from the full force of the damage though still being knocked backwards into a mountain. Eliza picked herself up onto her feet coughing on due to the poison within her system, looking down at her jacket she noticed holes in the arms where Viper hit her, a grin shot onto her face as she removed the leather jacket and threw in onto the ground before stretching her arms out and bringing them back engulfing them in electricity “now the fights getting interesting” Eliza remarked as her eyes widened “come at me Viper! Prove you have what it takes to become S-Class!” Eliza yelled before streams of lightning emitted from her and connected to the echoes causing them to disappear before the streams stopped and the echoes disappeared completely.

As the echos faded, the poison fog began to fade as well as Elaine moved over to the side and began to cough as she got poisoned in spite of her efforts to not breath the fumes in. Elaine knew she needed some time to recover which left Viper alone against Eliza, though Viper's competitive smile seemed to show he was okay with that even if only for a little bit.

Before we fought as enemies, I even tried to kill you. Now we fight as members of the same guild. As friends, and I'll prove myself that you did not make a mistake. I'll prove I am worthy to become S-Class, a true mage here...and I will find you mother. No matter what!

"Indeed, I don't intend to do anything less." Viper said as he began to power up and channel Poison magic before he charged forward and coated one hand with poison magic as he dug his claws into the mountain as he dashed at Eliza creating a dirt trail that almost acted like a smokescreen behind him.

"Poison Dragon..." Viper called out, only to halt his charge as the dirt cloud he formed with his claw behind him caught up and covered his body which momentarily masked his body before he jumped over the top of the dirk cloud behind Eliza as a tail of poison magic formed.

"...tail!" Viper called out as he aimed to swing down the tail on Eliza to try and deliver an aerial strike to the Thunder Dragon Slayer.
