Marilynn stopped ogling at her essay and saved it. She then opened her Web browser and started listening to some quiet piano music to calm her nerves. The scientist's impending punishment was weighing heavily on her mind, as now she wasn't working on her paper in her own world.

Valmont has been typing to keep himself busy, it was then that realization came to him and he turned to Marilynn, "um Marilynn, don't you think Colress would be waiting for the info on Phobos?" he asked as worriedness plagued him
"You should give it to him. You're the one he sent, after all," Marilynn muttered, opening the report on Phobos and clicking 'Print', "It's on the printer now."
Valmont thought for a moment then decide it would be better for both of them if he went, he walked over to the printer and picked up the report and went to the elevator, as the cabin decended, he finally reached the bottom and headed to his boss's office, he hesitated for a moment but then knocked

The move hit the Gastly, and has done quite a lot of damage because of its super effectiveness. Gastly used astonish on Gardevoir, which hit, and was super effective as well. "Gardevoir, use psychic!" Amy shouted delightfully. Gardevoir used psychic on the Gastly, making it hover in the air. "Now hit a bunch of times with psyshock!" Amy's plan worked. Gardevoir landed lots of hits on the Gastly, eventually causing it to faint.

Valmont entered the room, he was a bit nervous, he made his way to the desk and sat, he handed the report to him and then tried to study his face
The Beedrill used astonish on Mawile, who tried to stay up as long as she could. She managed to use rock slide twice more, which knocked out the Beedrill. Next, Ella sent out Gulpin. Amy switched out Mawile. She thought for a bit, then sent out her Eevee, which she never battled with before. "Eevee, swift!"

"4 more unused flasks of it sir" Valmont replied, though he was happy that his work is being put to use he was worried of what it will be used for
Mawile bit the Roselia, her mouth filled with fire. It did quite a lot of damage. The Roselia used magical leaf, sending flying pointy leaves at Mawile. Mawile, struggling quite a lot from the battle against the Beedrill, tried her best to stay up. She used fire fang once more. The Roselia countered it with poison sting. Both of the pokemon just stood there for a few seconds, then the Roselia fell down.
Amy couldn't believe it. "Yes, the second badge! We did it!" she returned her Mawile after a rather choking hug.
"And what are the results? Which stats have shown to be higher?" Colress needed the serum to higher all the stats by more than double, even though he knew the serum might have a couple of flaws.

"A major boost in Attack and Special Attack, almost 7 times higher, speed and health were boosted quite a bit too but Defence and Special Defence just barely go over triple with just a few points, I tested it on a level 12 Zubat and it has beaten my level 43 umbreon and level 58 tyrantrum" Valmont replied as he was still shocked of the results of the test

Ella let out another booming laugh, "Good battle, missy! Here's the Arsenic Badge!" The Poison gym leader returned her fainted Roselia, then stepped over to Amy and handed her an Arsenic Badge. Ella snapped her fingers in rememberance, and handed Amy a disc for TM06, Toxic. "That's Toxic I just handed you," Ella explained with a grin on her face, "It inflicts the badly poisoned status condition, which does more damage every turn." The purple-haired woman stepped aside, revealing a pit of blue goo. "That'll take you right down to the entrance. Congratulations!" she said.

Amy put the Arsenic Badge in her badge case, her TM in her bag, and said, " thank you!" to Ella. She stepped on the mysterious blue goo, which took her back to the entrance. Amy skipped out of the gym and into the pokemon center to heal her pokemon.
Colress thought for a moment. "Is there anything you can add to the serum to make the defense and special defense stronger?" He asked, desperate for a perfect serum that would make level 20 pokemon as strong as level 80 pokemon.

Royal saw Amy enter the Pokemon Center, as she was heading there herself, and ran inside after her. She sped towards Amy and exclaimed, "Hi Amy!"
"I could try sir but it would take a long time, I'll be on it and inform you when I'm done" Valmont replied as his mind already started to figure out a new formula
Amy turned and saw Royal. "Oh, hi, Royal! Guess what I just got?" she said, smiling wide. She was so happy that she couldn't wait for Royal to answer. "I got the Arsenic Badge from your mother!" she showed Royal her badge in her badge case.
Colress didn't mind if something would take a long time. He was a scientist himself, after all. "Good. Go call Marilynn, I decided her punishment," Colress spoke as he reread the information about Phobos, noticing the style of wording was familiar to him somehow.

"yes sir" Valmont said as he left, he stood inside the ascending cabin thinking to himself about the new formula, as he exited the elevator he turned to Marilynn and said "Marilynn, Colress wants to talk to you about your punishment...." and then headed to his desk and started to work
Royal squeezed Amy in a hug, then let Walter and Princess out of their Pokeballs. "Look Amy, Walter and Princess evolved!" Royal chirped as she pet her Kirlia and Quagsire.

"Wow, you evolve your pokemon so quickly! You evolved three in one day!" Amy exclaimed, quite shocked that Royal already evolved three of her pokemon. She was very happy for Royal. "Did you challenge the gym yet?" Amy asked, her eyes shining.

Amy smiled even wider, which didn't even look possible. "Alright! I'll go heal my pokemon now, so see ya!" Amy ran to Nurse Joy, who healed her pokemon. She then went to the food place in the pokemon center to eat. She didn't eat since breakfast, and was very hungry.
Colress saw this as a reasonable answer, but still saw a big question that Marilynn didn't answer. "Why did you reveal yourself? You saw that you didn't get information on Phobos, yet you didn't stay with your diguise. You joined the admin and his foolish plan. It wouldn't have been so vacuous if one of the admin's pokemon held the trainer hostage, and you could have acted helpless, pretending to be surprised. You did not do any of this," Colress' anger was beyond possibilities, but he didn't show it. He needed to see if Marilynn was understanding why she was going to get her punishment.

"Well, you went along with the plan and did as the admin told you... Until you revealed your identity to that trainer and told the admin that you will carry on from there. That was your mistake. It wouldn't have been such a large mistake if your Duosion would not have let go. This is why you get this punishment: Go to one of the cities and act as if you aren't in Team Plasma for two weeks. This time make up a new name and wear a different style of clothing so that if the trainers from before see you, they might think you are familiar to them, but they will not recognize you. In these two weeks, your Duosion will stay here and battle the pokemon injected with the serum Valmont is testing. You are not allowed to call anyone in Team Plasma. Your punishment starts tomorrow, so give the pokeball that holds Duosion to Valmont and tell him about this."

Marilynn nodded quietly, but inside, Marilynn's heart dropped. "Two fricken weeks without Zoe?! Who knows what those buffed Pokemon could do her! If a level 12 Zubat could stand up to a level 58 Tyrantrum, what'll they do to a level 37 Duosion?!" Marilynn snapped with tears in her eyes once she got to her desk. She collapsed in her seat, her pent-up tears flowing down her face.
Royal finally got to her mother's room, where Ella was waiting. "Hey scamp! Just cause you're my kid, doesn't mean I'm going easy on you! Go, Gastly!" Ella boomed. Royal called Walter put and had him use Confusion. Walter focused on the Gastly and sent a weak Psychic attack to her. It hit for super effective damage, but the Gastly remained. The Ghost/Poison type used Astonish, hitting for super-effective damage.

The battle raged on between mother and daughter, with Walter and Bella fainting, until Royal eventually came out on top. Ella laughed, then handed Royal the Arsenic Badge and TM06 Toxic. The Poison gym leader gave her daughter a huge hug, and showed her the blue pit. Royal returned the hug and slipped down the blue pit of slime. She dashed outside, to the Pokemon Center, and looked for Amy.

Valmont was having a hard time with his work, he couldn't test a lot of different formulas so he had to figure out other ways, "Willow could you get me a cup of co-" he stopped as he remembered that they ran out of coffee, Valmont was about to lose it when he heard Marilynn crying, he knew something was wrong and asked "what's wrong Marilynn?"
"Yep!" Royal beamed, holding up the Arsenic Badge.

Amy already healed her pokemon, so she waited for Royal. She started thinking about June's betrayal, and noticed she didn't really know what happened, except for the betrayal part. Amy wondered if Lady was okay. They didn't see her the whole day, and she was starting to worry a bit for her friend.
Valmont wasn't affected by the glare and decided to go back to his work, he headed off to the old lab and started to make a new modified batch of the serum
Marilynn stood up trembling, and placed Zoe's Pokeball on Valmont's desk, along with a note, "PLEASE don't battle the serum-injected Pokemon with my Duosion. Even though you are supposed to, as those are boss' orders, I don't want her to get hurt." With that done, she went back over to her desk, let Cobalt out of his Pokeball, and shakily pet the Riolu.
After a few moments Valmont ran out and closed the door behind him, he went to his desk and Emailed the HQ fire department to head up quick, he sat furious and hit his fist on the table, there was a loud audible cracking sound but Valmont had hard time figuring out whether it was his fist or the desk, he noticed the note and started to read it
