"I thought I was alone!" Marilynn snapped back, "I didn't know that he was going to show up!" Zoe stopped crying and let out a terrified squeak. Marilynn hugged her closer. "I don't know why Zoe let Lady go. She has always been a big softie though," the scientist huffed.
The Admin slammed his hands on a nearby desk, "Valmont! Your cousin came in like some pesky worm and stopped us. Him and that stupid Snivy. When this gets to the boss...well let's just say one of us is going to have a not so fun time."
Tyler went back to where the crime had taken place, and pulled Potchy's collar off the nearby bush.
Ego spotted the blue haired kid, Royal, that his daughter had introduced to him before, "Hey!"

Valmont gave him a glare that said "repeat who stopped you, I dare you" the scientist stood up and placed his glasses on the table, "your telling me...... that..... PHOBOS WAS THERE?!" all his efforts on stacking the papers on his desk went to waste when he pushed it off in rage before sitting down and trying to calm himself, "your losing it Valmont..... focus.... stay calm...." he muttered before he went to get himself a cup of icy water
Royal picked her head up at the sound of Ego's voice. "Hi!" She chirped, "Can I help you?"
Marilynn glared at the Admin. She held Zoe closer, and whispered, "I still have to punish you, but I won't hurt you, okay?"

Royal thought about his question for a moment. "Last time I saw her, she was going to train with June," The young girl answered.
Marilynn hugged her Duosion as she thought of a punishment for Zoe. After what seemed to be hours of thinking, she quietly said, "You only get 3/4ths of your normal portion of food for a week, Zoe."

Royal gasped, "June and Lady got attacked?! We gotta help them!!!" She paced in circles, trying to formulate a plan. Walter let out several worried calls to his trainer, all of which were phased out.
Marilynn let Zoe out of the hug and asked, "Could you go get me some chocolate milk please?" The Duosion cooed. Marilynn only drank that when she was stressed. She got a cup of the requested beverage, then returned to the scientist's side.

"Hi Lady," Royal cheered. She jumped around, then realized someone was missing. She asked, "Where's June?"
Lady stiffend, "She is a traitor, I'm sorry Royal. S-She led me to a trap, she works with those people...team plasma."
Tyler decided to make his entrence then, not realizing Ego was there, "I found your poochyena'S collar-" Ego tackled him to the ground, and slammed his fist into the side of his head."

A few tears slipped down Royal's face. "J-june isn't n-nice?" She mumbled. Walter hugged Royal's leg in concern. "Ralts ral ralts?(What's wrong?)" The Ralts called quietly.
Royal sniffled, then said, "Okay." She picked up Walter and hugged him close.
Marilynn drank the chocolate milk, and set the cup aside. "Thanks," she muttered, opening a new document on her computer.

Seeing Amy, Royal cried, "June's evil, Amy!" Tears slid down her face once more. She ran up to the trainer and hugged her, mumbling, "Are you evil, Amy?"

"R-repaca C-city, s-sir," Royal stuttered. She let go of Amy and turned to Ego, trying to swallow her stuttering and tears. "M-my m-mom's the g-gym leader t-there," she sputtered, not wanting to upset this man even further.
Ego frowned and crouched down to Royal's level, "Did I scare you? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to...." He smiled, "Want to see something cool?"
He stood up and pulled out another pokeball, "Bolla, let's go!"
A light flashed from the ball and out came a giant orange mouse, "Rai!"
The Raichu tilted her head sideways, nose twitching as she sniffed Royal. One she deemed Royal safe, she smiled in her own goofy way, "Chu!"

A smile blossomed on Royal's face as she watched the large electric mouse Pokemon. She giggled a bit, and swayed her long braid a bit.
Lady smile fell once both the other girls attentions were on Bolla. Her lower lip trembled. Amy was right- what could have made her do something like this?
What in his right mind made him do that? What made him stop her, and what did he mean by 'she's a mockingbird'? His fists clenched at his sides, and brushes the sleeve of his grunt suit against his nose, and winced at the smear of blood. God, he was an idiot: an idiot with no where to go, no money, no pokemon, no nothing.

Royal reached a hand out to pet the Raichu, then stopped herself. She looked up at Ego, then asked, "Can I pet her please?"
Royal grinned from ear to ear, and started petting Bolla. She ruffled the Raichu's fur, being extra careful around the cheeks, and smoothed it back down.
"I don't know," Lady said softly, finally answering Amy's question.
Ego turned to her as Raichu melted like putty into Royal's affection, "Lady, I've told you before, there are some bad people in the world-"
"Was mom a bad person?" Lady said, her eyes took on that steel-razor look as she started down her father, while her voice stayed quiet, "Because she hurt people too, she-"
"Shut. Up." Ego snarled. He returned Raichu to her pokeball, as well as Grace. Lady looked guilty, "Dad-"
"I'm going to beat the eight gym," He said hollowly, "And then to the elite four. Zard, let's move."
Out of his pokeball came a massive Charizard, which Ego grabbed onto, and left the girls alone as he took flight.
Lady stood their quietly, and Potchy whined.
Ego turned to her as Raichu melted like putty into Royal's affection, "Lady, I've told you before, there are some bad people in the world-"

Royal whimpered as Bolla was put back in her ball. As she watched the Charizard fly off, she looked over at Lady and asked, "Why did he go?" She was to preoccupied with the Raichu to hear Lady and Ego's conversation.
"Oh," Royal said. She thought for a moment, and declared, "We should move on for now, okay guys? I don't want to stay here." The navy-haired trainer shuddered, recalling that 'June' had betrayed Lady not to far from where the posse stood.
Royal beamed, then rushed into the grass. The first Pokemon she found was a Houndour. She called Bella out, and had her use Sleep Powder. A flurry of soporific spores landed on the Dark/Fire type, sending it into slumber. A few turns and two Pokeballs later, and Houndour was caught. Royal saw the Houndour's gender, Female, and named her Firefly.
((ooc: Sorry the battle scene was so shoddily written, I didn't feel like going into a lot of detail. Second, it took forever coming up with Houndour's name))

Lady searched the grass herself, and searched everywhere for some pokemon, any pokemon. She honestly just wanted another friend. Potchy seemed restless too; but Lady can't tell if it is because of what happened a few hours ago or something else. She finally found something that jingled like Potchy's collar.
"Klefki?" Lady squeaked, "Go Potchy and use shadow ball!"
Klefki screeched as it took the force of the attack. Lady pulled out a pokeball, and threw it, watching as the Klefki went inside. One....two....three...ding! Lady let out a cheer, and quickly went to pick up the pokeball. She decides on the name Kai for the sweet thing.

Amy looked for a pokemon, too. Then, behind the tree, a Snivy popped out! Amy cried, "I have to catch it!" She sent out her Slurpuff, and told her to use Dazzling Gleam. Amy threw a pokeball, and caught the Snivy. She decided not to give her a nickname, because in her opinion 'Snivy' sounded just fine. The pokeball started to disappear, which Amy knew it meant Snivy was transported to Professor Sycamore back in the Kalos region.
Royal let Firefly out of her Pokeball. Immediately, the Dark Pokemon started sniffing around, eventually finding her way to Amy.
