"Here you go." Gatogirl said. She handed him the HMD. 'Definitely not like Chickadee in the slightest.' Gatogirl thought. Chickadee turned off her HMD and returned it to the compartment on her belt. She glanced down at Vee.
Oh yeah, those... Polaris thought as the boy - Blitz, was it? - received an HMD from Gatogirl. I need one... hey, Vee~
"No." She said aloud, deadpanning.
"Vee, c'mon, I already did the talking today, now it's your turn." Polaris responded, thus starting the fire of argument that was lit ever so frequently between the two.
"Are you serious?! I've been talking to them the most! Plus, this is your leader, you go talk to her!"
"You know good and well that talking to people isn't something I'm good at!"
"Ain't that the truth, Mister No-Social-Life!"
"Hey, you owe me for that little stunt you just pulled with Chickadee, now go!"
Vee was about to talk back, but she hesitated. Polaris knew that he had finally won. With her ears hung low from defeat, she walked over to Gatogirl. "Ahem. Hiya. I'm gonna need one of those map thingies, please." Vee said, not exactly thrilled that she lost an argument with Polaris.
Meanwhile, Polaris himself felt quite satisfied. His expression didn't match his feelings, but that was aside the point. He watched as Vee went to retrieve the HMD, snickering to himself occasionally, but turning his head every time he did.

Hello Gatogirl, I would like to receive a HMD. "Hey Blitz look at this," Sunny Pulled out her large bladed golden sword. It was honestly quite heavy and could only be wielded by her due to her being chosen by the sword itself. Then she made the blade be engulfed by yellow flames. "It's Title is Alpha, Golden Sword of The Sun." Rosie Barked Happily. She like the huge glowy thing.

Gatogirl handed Sunny a HMD, then she knelt down so she was closer to the fox then she held out a HMD to Vee. Chickadee watched all this. Chickadee was slightly disappointed by the fact that no archers had applied. She thought it might make things more interesting around here. Though things were quite interesting as they were at the time.
"I'm Impressed blitz, Never knew you could make a fire bow. I wonder what would when. A solar sword or a fire bow. I guess it depends on it wielder. A good wielder is just and maybe even more than a good weapon. If a Bad wielder fights with a good weapon he would surly lose." Sunny started to ramble then stopped herself."I am sorry. I ramble on sometimes"

In the shadows in the corner Torment lurked, hidden thanks to the darkness enveloping him, 'so these are my teammates? Interesting....' he thought, Fluffy next to him and started nugging him to go introduce himself, soon the Dracolich lost its patience and flew out into sight.
Torment walked out of the shadows, "I hope I'm not late" he said as his pet landed on his shoulder, "I'm Torment, and this is Fluffy".

Chickadee looked at yet another newcomer. He would probably be the last, at least for a while. "I'm Chickadee." she told Torment. Chickadee then looked at Fluffy. She had been her father's protégé long enough to have seen some unusual stuff. Including a girl with an undead saber tooth cat as a companion. So once again she was unphased by his companion.
Torment grunted before raising a living skeleton, said skeleton was staring hungrily at Blitz and started to walk towards him, the undead only managed 3 steps before being crushed by a fist of solid shadows, "shadow manipulation and necromancy" he said, Apathy clearly existing in his tone, he looked around to scan his new team mates, blood red eyes darting left to right and vice versa.
Sunny looked at the new comer with a bit of a fearful look. Not only being afraid of fire, but of death and skeletons too. But she tried to be nice and told him "Hi, Torment! I am Sunny and this is my dog, Rosie." But she was quite amused with shadow control. He was kinda the opposite of her though. While her powers involved light and the sun, his involved the moon and darkness. Rosie then ran over to Fluffy and started to bark in exicetment

Lachlan laughed to himself about the absurdity of this entire thing. A super hero team. He lived in the countryside, so he always considered anyone with superpowers something out of the normal, but this? Bennett floated opposite him. His brothers disembodied soul wisp seemed to pulse in colour. Probably fanboying. His brother seemed to like it when anything involving superpowers happened, but to Lachlan it just made him queasy. Of course it was hard to tell with his brother's current state. He decided to introduce himself, and despite not being much of a show off, his brother would love his idea. "This better not be a waste Bennett. I had to cross an ocean you know." Bennett hummed disapprovingly, as if he had heard that multiple times. Because he had. Lachlan grudgingly transformed, making his entire body incorporeal, replace by light green flames. The green orbs on his hoodie started to glow, and he passed, intangible, straight through the wall. He landed on the other side, and turned back to normal to a burst of green flames. Gave him a cold shiver every time he did that. There were many people standing there, so he felt he had to introduce himself, but he suddenly choked, his throat cold halfway through what he had to say as Bennett passed through the wall and straight through him.
'How many people applied for this group anyway?' Chickadee wondered. She watched another boy appear. Then what she could safely guess was a wisp passed through a wall and straight through the boy. Chickadee gave the boy a nod of acknowledgement. She returned her attention to the group.
Newcomers. Again. Great.

Polaris grunted with displeasure as another new face emerged from the shadows, almost quite literally. Vee had retrieved the HMD and given it to Polaris, seeming to have simmered down a bit. People started to showcase their powers, which was interesting. The newest of them was a necromancer of sorts, there was the boy who controlled fire, one who could manipulate salt, a solar energy manipulator girl, a girl with no powers, but a lot of fighting experience... oh, and another newcomer, one who quite literally phased through the wall. Vee looked up at Polaris with a smirk. "Time do demonstrate our power yet, Polaris?" Vee asked, swishing her tail quickly.
Polaris nodded, his hair going white slowly as he closed his eyes. Vee took this as a sign, accompanied by the fact that the air around him got colder. She wrapped herself around Polaris' neck like a scarf and snickered as he opened his eyes that were now colored white. His face was still void of any expression, but inside, he was laughing to himself. Moving his hands around in a circle, he created a snowball roughly the size of Vee. As he moved his hands closer to it, it started to shape into a sabre, much like the ones used for fencing. Once it was shaped, he grabbed the grip and swung it around quickly. He pointed it up to the sky, eyes still on the group. Vee looked at the group, laughing a bit. "How'd ya like that? Eh? Pretty neat, huh?"
"Vee, calm, it's nothing too special." Polaris muttered, patting Vee's head with his free hand.
Vee playfully nuzzled herself into his hand as he pet her, then scurried onto her shoulder pad that Polaris graciously put on his costume. His hair and eyes were completely snow white now, and the air around him was so cold, it became visible at his feet, slowly drifting away from him and fading away. Vee always called this "the freezer door effect" because that's what it reminded her of. "It is too something special, it's cool," she muttered, sitting down comfortably on Polaris' shoulder.

A silver wolf with green eyes ran up to the group. He paused for a moment to look at Polaris' snow sabre, then continued towards the rest of the group. Once he got there, he stood on his hind legs and changed back into a human. The hero, who was originally from Japan, faced the group of heroes. "Greetings. I am Okami Boy." he said.

Polaris waved his free hand over the sabre, causing it to vanish and release a cloud of cold air. His hair and eyes slowly started to gain color. The process of turning off his powers was always annoying. It never happened quickly. In fact, he would be shocked if his appearance returned to normal within the course of ten minutes. Vee hopped off of Polaris' shoulder to go greet the next newcomer, though this one looked like he knew what was up. "Hey, Okami Boy, was it? I'm Vee, and that's Polaris. What brings you here? You here to sign up as well?" She asked, tilting her head to the side as her tail swished happily behind her.
Polaris slowly approached the group once more, still not getting too close to them, though now it was because of the cold air that he was generating from his body. He crossed his arms as he looked at Okami Boy. He guessed based on many factors that he wasn't originally from the US, but didn't bring it up. Instead, he watched to see what he would do with Vee's greeting.

"Actually, I'm in charge of Justice Sanctuary, and keeping an eye on Teen Justice." Okami Boy said. Gatogirl walked up to Okami Boy and stood next to him. The two nodded to each other. Now that they were closer, the group could see the heroes' costumes better. Gatogirl wore a dark gray costume with a black cape and goggles with orange lenses. Okami Boy's costume was silver with a black wolf's howling profile surrounded by moonlight on his chest. "Welcome to Teen Justice." they said together. "And so it has begun." Chickadee muttered to herself.

Torment examined as another boy phased through a wall accompanied by a wisp, and then looked at Polaris as he made a frost saber, 'interesting, and quite useful too' he thought to himself
Fluffy was staring at the dog that barked at it happily, it wasn't sure weather the dog named Rosie should be scared of his looks or if he should be scared that Rosie isn't
Torment's attention was grabbed by Okami Boy and Gatogirl's announcement and thought to himself once more 'this better be worth it....'

"Each of you will receive, if you haven't already gotten one from me, a Holo Map Device, HMD for short. The HMDs project a map of the Justice Sanctuary. The HMDs also have special sensors that will choose a symbol to represent you. This will make your rooms easier to find on the map. The HMDs choice will be based off of your powers, your costumed appearance, or your superhero name." Gatogirl said. She and Okami Boy led the way into the Justice Sanctuary. Okami Boy walked up to a large computer and pressed a button. The Justice Sanctuary map appeared on the screen with the symbols of each. Polaris' was an icy blue sabre, Sunny's was a sun, Blitz's was a fireball, Chickadee's was a chickadee, Gatogirl's was a dark gray cat head, and Okami Boy's was a black wolf's howling profile surrounded by moonlight. The rest had not received theirs yet.

Wisp was sort of paying attention the announcement. Bennett was geeking out and flying around, pulsing and making a humming sound. At least he hadn't made his Asthma act up completely this time. It made accidentally hitting himself with a wisp a potentially dangerous concept. He decided to try and not grab anyone's attention, and slotted himself in behind everyone.
Chickadee muttered under her breath about her father's choice of the name for his first protégé, who was now Nightsparrow. She shifted her bag to her other hand. Chickadee glanced at the map on the screen, which showed where everybody with a HMD's room was. Her chickadee symbol was right across the hall from the icy blue sabre symbol that represented Polaris. 'This should be interesting.' she thought.
Torment looked at the map on screen, he decided that he should go get his HMD to know where his room was, though he was about to approach Gatogirl to get one Fluffy has already taken flight and beaten him to her
The undead dragon nudged at Gatogirl's leg and using his tail to point at the screen and then at Torment who appeared to have been planning on approaching her himself

Wisp decided he would have to get a... What was it? HMD? He decided to queue up behind some guy with blood red eyes. His undead dragon seemed friendly enough, but visibly spooked Bennett. It would be a good idea to just stay low and avoid eye contact with anyone.
"Hey hey, Polaris, look! It's your sword!" Vee said, jumping excitedly in place.
Polaris nodded, and clicked his tongue a few times. Vee knew what that meant, and so she jumped back up onto his shoulder perch of sorts. Polaris' hair was still a silvery color, as were his eyes, but they were getting better slowly. Polaris and Vee locked eyes as they had a telepathic conversation. So, Vee, do you want to go back to our room?
Nah, I'd rather get some more food.

"Oh, hello." Gatogirl said to the undead dragon, who had pointed with his tail first to to the screen, then to Torment. Gatogirl nodded understandingly, walked up to Torment, and handed him a HMD. "Sure. The trip from Sharp City to here was at least an hour." Chickadee said. She nodded at Polaris and Vee.
Wisp picked up his HMD. It showed his room, with his symbol being a Willow tree. He thought it was an apt emblem for him. He noticed he was opposite a room with no emblem. Probably still had to select theirs. He was on the far right end of the hallway, so he would be next to only one person. He decided to wait around to find out who it was.
Torment gladly took the HMD from Gatogirl as Fluffy sat on the floor to his left, he activated the map showing his room, his emblem being a red skull with demon like horns, his room was oposite to one with a willow tree for an emblem, he looked at the boy with the wisp, he knew it was his room since he was the only other one who didn't know where his room was and the willow emblem appeared just moments ago, 'this will be interesting' he thought to himself for the umpteenth time.
Gatogirl and Okami Boy's rooms were across from each other, closest to the entrance to the hall with the rooms. Chickadee was second closest and next to Gatogirl's room. Polaris' was second closest and next to Okami Boy's room. There were mostly empty rooms, which indicated that it could fit a lot more heroes than the ones that were going to stay there. 'Would any more rooms be filled?' Chickadee wondered.
Vee seemed pretty content with Chickadee nodding at her, but wasn't as happy with the fact that nobody else wanted to come with them. Polaris, on the other hand, was thrilled, though Vee wanted to change that. She stepped sneakily over to the others, first going to Wisp, then to Lux, then to Sunny and Blitz. "C'mon~! It'll be fun!~" She said, almost trying to sound seductive in a way.
Polaris looked at her like she had grown two extra heads. What in the world are you doing, Vee? He asked telepathically.

Chickadee followed Polaris as he headed for the cafe. Since Vee had said Polaris only talked to her, Chickadee doubted she'd get a response from him if she asked him a question. So she followed him in silence, which worked fine for her, since she wasn't usually social anyways. Chickadee was a little curious about what the rooms would be like. She wondered for a moment how everyone was faring in Sharp City.
Polaris immediately started to regret not having Vee with him as he approached the cafe. Someone wanted to take his order, and he refused to speak for a few moments. Just as he was finally going to speak, the man walked away. With an annoyed sigh, he sat down in a chair at a booth, waiting for the man's inevitable return. Stupid people... stupid not having Vee... stupid me... ugh! Polaris angrily thought, tapping his foot on the ground impatiently.
Looking over the extensive menu once more, Polaris found the area where the generic fast foods were. As he was about to set his mind on a burger and fries again, an image caught his eye: little rice balls, onigiri, with faces on them. The classic ".3." face, the winky face, the tongue out face, and more. Polaris looked at the picture in awe, an actual smile creeping onto his face as his eyes widened. "Aww, cute~..." he muttered to himself. "If only Vee noticed this and not the normal junk..."

She was unsure of whether or not the semi-seductive act was working, so she ditched it for the classic sad puppy routine. Sure, her tone was a bit too whiny to be a sad puppy, sounding more like a small child who wanted a toy from the store, but she was determined for this to work. If they were going to live in the same building and be on the same team, she was going to have to make Polaris speak to them comfortably. Expecting that right off the bat wasn't something that crossed her mind; it would take a miracle for him to speak like that immediately. No, she was thinking about gradually getting him used to the others, but first she had to get them all in the same place.

Okami Boy looked at the fox. He sighed at her begging act. But he was hungry. "I'll go with you." Okami Boy said. He turned into a wolf again and patiently waited to see if anyone else would respond to Vee's question.
Meanwhile, a girl with wings on her back stood near the edge of a roof of a tall building in Jackson City. Her armor was not of the current era and nor was she. In the era she was originally from, she had heard the story of Beowulf orally. The girl spread her wings as she surveyed the area. Britannia Soars had heard that Teen Justice was looking for new members, and since she was not originally from this era in time, she decided she would join. Meanwhile, a girl with wings on her back stood near the edge of a roof of a tall building in Jackson City. Her armor was not of the current era and nor was she. In the era she was originally from, she had heard the story of Beowulf orally. The girl spread her wings as she surveyed the area. Britannia Soars had heard that Teen Justice was looking for new members, and since she was not originally from this era in time, she decided she would join. It wasn't easy to adjust to this era, maybe joining Teen Justice could help. Britannia Soars flapped her wings and flew towards the Justice Sanctuary.

Lirio boosted her legs muscles as she leapt from build ing to building, making her way to the justice sanctuary. The tails on her robe out behind her as she flipped mid air before landing on the buildings roof with a practiced grace. The girl jumped off the roof before landing in front of the main doors and walking in. The Hispanic girl moving through the as she looked for others of the program. She pulled some of the hair out of her face and walked into what she guessed to be a cafe. The girl looked at what they had to offer and frowned at most of it, her arms folding over her chest as she glared at the menu, "a cafe? Do they expect us not make our own food? I hope they have a kitchen I can use, abuela would be very upset with me if she learned I was ignoring her cooking lessons".
Britannia Soars flew into the café. She heard the girl's statement. "I think they might have a kitchen too. I wouldn't know though, since I don't have one of those fancy map devices." Britannia Soars said. Her Old English accent was faint when she spoke. Meanwhile, Chickadee noticed the two newcomers. She gave them a nod of acknowledgement. Then Chickadee resumed looking around for something she would like to eat.
"Mi la bondad," Lirio jumped a little bit when Britannia Soars spoke to her but calmed down and nodded to Chickadee in return, "well I guess we'll have to go find the fancy map devices. You have beautiful wings by the way and I have never seen armour like yours. Where did you get it it"?
The black haired girl turned to her other era companion, her accent think and caught herself from almost speaking in Spanish once again, "maybe we should ask one of the people over there? They may know something"?

"From my original time period. Kind of had to talk the guy into making it for me, since I'm a girl and all the warriors were men." Britannia Soars said. Then she answered the girl's other question. "Yes, they may know something." she said. Britannia Soars folded her wings closer to her body.
"Well let's go ask. What time period are you from if you don't mind me asking? It is not everyday you meet a time traveler," Lirio hummed as she slowly untied her mask and placed it into the sash on her belt. The Hispanic girl looking around as she started to move closer to the other group, "maybe I'll know some recipes from that time and can make you something".
