Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
It would depend on how she handles the shadow Pokémon and herself as the trainer and their Pokémon gotta be mentally stable enough to not be a danger to others, discipline is kind of a big deal.
@Foxex
Oh. Okay then if that is the case, it will be slow (as she needs a timeframe to be willing to unleash such gifts to practice homing them in battle) , but it will likely be well controlled by the end of the first season. Right now, she has it to the point it can be used short bursts, sort of like a split second power-up to their attacks before reverting back to normal . She knows how to do this, but actively keeping the power active for longer periods makes her go... all Dark Ash from that one Pokémon Movie in Atlantis if she doesn't actively keep her mental guard up, which will limit how much concentration she can put into actually battling, like a battle for supremacy and pokemon battling all happening simultaneously.
If anyone reads the DBS Manga, it's sort of like how Goku switches from SSG to SSB, switching so fast for an attack it does more damage but with none of the drawbacks as the form doesn't last long enough to do lasting damage.
Sorry about this, but in my last post, I didn't clarify that Flash was using the Bug Buzz as a sonar to go UNDERNEATH the Vaporeon. Plus with the speed he has, he probably would have broke the ice, since the pebbles give his claws a better toughness. I'll let it go, since it was my bad. Though, i do have questions of some of the moves and such, (namely Aorora Beam) though i understand all of the water ones. I'll post, and progress things foward.
What question do you have about Aurora Beam? It's a freezing beam of colorful ice energy that may lower the opponent's special defense, but it's in water, so it freezes a bit of the water around it.
Sorry for the weird post though. XD it was late at night. I just saw that your Ninjask flew to break the ice behind the Vaporeon, not under.
Oh Vaporeon can learn Aurora Beam at Level 36 from Yellow in Gen I to Black and White in Gen V, and then 21 in Black 2 and White 2, then at level 20 in Gen VI and Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon, and then level 17 in Let's Go, and then finally at Level 30 in VIII.
@The Legendary Trainer, do you mind if I put in the description of the capability of your Pokemon? If you have any specifics or issue with that, please let me know.
The most I'm going to do is going into detail of what Sheila sees in terms of the thick hide or muscles that are either lithe (speedy) or buff (physical attack). She can't tell what their real life versions of Special Attack and Special Defense are, but she'll see that in the battle. The most she can see are the calmness from the Pokemon if it is really apparent, like the Alakazam.
EDIT: Basically I'm asking to see if the descriptions of your Pokemon make sense when I make the RP (or if I feel too self-conscious, I'll post the bit here for further edits).
The post I'm making is fairly long, so I'm sorry if this takes more time than usual. I'm trying to upgrade how I write my RP posts. XD
Hey @Foxex, could i posibly make a new character. I will probably make it another participant, but maybe (if you say its ok), it would be a Battlemaster. I'll start making it when you give the word.

Hey, is this Roleplay dying? I hope not, this Roleplay is very original and fun, and I don’t want it to die. So, is it dying, or is it just slow? Or are we in a weird spot or something?
I've also been super busy. One of the Discord servers I work as an administrator in has staff applications out and I've been stretched thin trying to read them all and get my opinions in.
Because of life shenanigans and the possibility of moving in a few months and having to plan ahead, I'll have to move my characters out. We'll just say that Sheila, Shade, and Eva both receive dire messages to come home and help their families (with Sheila's family being the strange lady who coaxed her on an adventure and her wild Pokemon family), and they'll abruptly leave. Those of you who wish to continue may auto my characters in any way you think would fit them and have them leave. I thoroughly enjoyed RPing here, and I'm sorry it has come to this.
Ah. Don’t mind me, I just like coming back here every once in a while just to remember how nice this rp was before it randomly died. I still make edits to my bio sometimes xD. Anyway, just coming back to pay respects.
I hope you reboot it, this rp was genuinely really fun. If you don’t end up rebooting it, it’d be cool if you used everyone’s characters from this rp in the written works, that’d be kinda fun to see.
Position (Required) (Participant, Battlemaster, Spire Master): Participant Name: Ikue Makusaba Title(s) (Optional): Johto League Champion, The Refined Breeder, (The) Musical Brawler. Age: 17 Gender: Female Height: 4’9 Hair Color: Sandy blonde Build: A fairly natural build for a girl her age, just slightly bulkier. Eye color: Hazel Birthplace: Cianwood City, Johto. First Pokémon (Optional): Nugget (Aron) Occupation (Optional): Pokemon Breeder Affiliations (Optional) (Required if going for Spire Master): Likes: The ocean, meat, light clothing, people who treat Pokemon well, other breeders, autumn (or fall as others call it). Dislikes: Forests, anything spicy, fire types, mistreated Pokemon, electric types. Fears: Anything involving her team getting hurt. Clothing/ Accessories/ Appearance: If you took a glance at Ikue, you could easily tell she isn’t the type to stand out. She has a slightly oversized pink hoodie (with a white tank top underneath), denim blue jeans that are slightly patched up, plus pale red socks and pink sneakers. Her hair is tied into two pigtails and they’re also dyed purple at the ends. She also rarely uses a pink, blue and black guitar unless she’s in a battle. Badges (Required): Johto League, half of Hoenn League. Achievements: (Required): Johto Champion, Earned Coolness, Toughness and Beauty Master Ribbons, Certified Breeder.
Personality (Required): Ikue is a refined female who clearly knows her place in battle, and that’s fairly high up. Well, she likes to think that. But besides from her basic looks, she’s cheerful, honest, and a bit forgetful. Besides from her typical mood, she can also get a bit rowdy in battle thanks to her guitar (See Battle Style). On very rare occasions, she can get fairly stubborn.
Battle Style (optional): Due to her title as the Musical Brawler, Ikue has a tendency to use a guitar passed down from her brother to shake up the mood of battle and kinda control her Pokemon. It all depends on the way she plays it.
Background (Required): Ikue was born on the edge of Cianwood City, a island off the edge of Johto. She grew up fine, without any siblings or problems, and her fathers Typhlosion from his journey in the past as a house pet of sorts. From time to time, she helped her parents with the part-time breeding business they had. And when she was 10, she was given a Mareep to begin her journey with. But Ikue felt a bit bold and decided to Wonder Trade to see if she could find a better partner. Mainly because it shocked her upon first contact. After a while, she was matched up and received a Pokemon from outside of Johto: an Aron which was nicknamed Nugget. And surprisingly, the two got on well. From ages 11 to 15, she beat the Johto League (two years), made her way to Hoenn and competed in Contests (one year), before attempting the Gyms there, of which she only managed to beat half (half a year). And she even went to Alola for half a year to try and expand her breeding talent, which was a great success before returning to Johto. Now she’s bold enough to spread her ideals wherever she travels, her team by her side.
Name: Nugget
Species: Aggron
Gender: Female
Personality: Nugget is overly protective and a bit klutzy, but overall a great Pokemon to be around.
Ability: Rock Head
Held Item: Sitrus Berry
History: Originally owned by a trainer called Daci, Nugget was originally theirs until she was traded for Ikue’s Mareep. They’ve been the strongest allies since.
Name: Grouch
Species: Togedemaru
Gender: Male
Personality: Despite his name and looks, Grouch is fairly outgoing to others. Though I wouldn’t suggest messing with him.
Ability: Iron Barbs
Held Item: N/A
History: Grouch was first obtained as a Egg Ikue obtained during her Alola travels. Despite her dislike of Electric types, he was taken in and raised well until he hatched.
Name: Celadon
Species: Breloom
Gender: Female
Personality: Celadon is normally silent and a bit mysterious, but will immediately be angered if someone mistakes her gender. Fortunately, Bolt stops her before she does too much damage most of the time.
Ability: Poison Heal
Held Item: Toxic Orb
History: Celadon was first found idling in Petalburg Woods, where Ikue decided to catch her. It took a long time before she evolved, at the third Gym in Hoenn.
Name: Vio
Species: Alolan Sandslash
Gender: Male
Personality: Vio is probably the most chill of the team, no ice pun intended. But when it comes to battling, he knows his stuff.
Ability: Snow Cloak
Held Item: Icy Rock
Histor: Originally found just outside of Tapu Village, Vio was actually very eager to join Ikue. So the two fought and Vio actually beat Grouch there and then. Ever since he was caught, he had eased down a lot.
Name: Dewy
Species: Bibarel
Gender: Male
Personality: Dewy is a loner at heart. He only stays in his Pokéball unless he has to train or fight.
Ability: Simple
Held Item: Focus Band
History: It’s a bit confusing how Ikue caught Dewy. All she did was find him wading around the edge of Cianwood, which was weird considering they lived in Sinnoh. Regardless of that, she caught him.
Name: Bolt
Species: Dragonite
Gender: Female
Personality: Ikue’s last resort in a battle. She’s well rounded in battle, but always focuses on offence most of the time. She’s still a force to not be messed with.
Ability: Inner Focus
Held Item: Dragon Fang
History: After obtaining the Rising Badge from Claire, Ikue was surprised to receive a Dratini as well for making getting the badge difficult. Despite being low level at first, Bolt was raised into a formidable fighter.
