His facial expression slightly wavered once more, and he looked on towards the distance. "You're a capable girl, you've survived up till now with someone by your side, I'd trust you to survive even with someone different." He said. "Just spare clothes and items right? Easy enough," he turns towards her, "let's go, we shouldn't waste much time." He said, opening his bag a little to peek in, "I'll ride my own pokemon, you can continue on your frosmoth." He told her. Once again, his speech came out kind of harsh, and he tries to fix it with little success. He didn't want to be mean, just cautious.
"N-not that I meant anything bad by it, just so we wouldn't push one pokemon too much with all the weight." He scratches his cheek awkwardly, "I'm not calling you fat of course, it's more of me than you and- well-" he twiddle his fingers nervously, "it wasn't meant to be offensive ah-" he buried his face in his hand, embarrassed once more by his difficult reasoning. "Why am I like this..." he muttered.
