After being told this, Jack became glad he befriended Cassie. Without her, he would have lost the battle against that gym leader before it started. "Oh, ok," he responded. "We should still probably stop there to rest though, since it's very close. Then afterword, we can go to the next town and challenge there gym."

A reminder: If you want to ask an RP thread creator if you can join their RP, do so in private - via conversation or profile messages - or via the thread's discussion thread, if one exists. Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.

"Yeah, sounds like a good plan!" responded Cassie. Cassie and Jack finally made it to Nimbula City, and Cassie said, "I'm going to go ahead and head straight to the Pokemon Center, you can explore the city for a bit if you want, or not; it doesn't really matter." As Cassie was heading to the Pokemon Center, she noticed Daniel outside of the gym. "Oh, hi there, Daniel! How're you doing?" Cassie said to Daniel.
"I was just preparing to challenge the gym," Daniel scoffed. Froakie sat on his shoulder and pulled Daniel's hair in excitement. Daniel put one hand in his coat and reached for the handle of the door.
Since Cassie started to talk to someone outside the gym, Jack assumed they were friends and walked to the pokemon center. He had never been in one before so this was a new experience for him. Once inside he gave his pokemon to the nurse so she could heal them, and while he was waiting, he bought some more pokeballs, since he had used them all catching Talon. Once he got his pokemon back, he rested on a chair and waited for Cassie to get there.
"Oh, you were, were you?" Cassie asked, "You do know that this is the final gym leader we're suppose to face, right? We can't battle them just yet. But, I would like to have our battle right now, what do you say?" Froakie had a determined look in his eye, and so did Cassie.
After waiting for Cassie for a while, Jack grew impatient. So he decided to go out and look for her. Once he was outside, he saw her talking to the other person he saw at the lab, who also had a froakie, but this time she had a look in her eye that he remembered from the battle the had. At that moment, Jack new Cassie was going to battle him, and he new he wanted to see it.

Daniel sighed and said,"Froakie and I still have training, I want to be able to smear you." Froakie jumped down and started running towards the Pokemon Center. The quick frog ran with incredible speed towards the Pokemon Center. Daniel chased after Froakie saying,"Wait, no, stop running!"

Jack saw that they clearly weren't going to battle as the other person's froakie ran past him. Then he realized something and ran over to Cassie. "Hey Cassie," he said. "We never got to finish our battle." He thought this would be good since she was probably disappointed in her friends answer.
Cassie was a bit disappointed that she couldn't battle him yet, and so she said, "Oh, fine, but I'm not as weak as you think I am!" Cassie was also heading to the Pokemon Center, when she noticed Jack. Jack asked for a rematch, and Cassie accepted, "Yeah, and I'm not going to lose!" Cassie exclaimed.
Daniel caught his Froakie and sat down to watch the battle. Froakie climbed back onto his shoulders. Daniel handed Froakie a Pokepuff and smiled. Froakie again glanced and his scared wrists. Daniel then murmured," My parents always wanted to be a professor, like my uncle in the Kalos region. Whenever I said otherwise, I would be cut and sworn at, eventually I had enough, I punched my dad as he brought out the knife. He grappled with me on the ground while my mother screamed for us to stop. I ran out of the house and never came back. I've seen missing person posters all over town, but My dad has never been able to catch me.

"Wow, that battle was awesome, but I still lost. Looks like I need to catch some more Pokemon!" Cassie said. Cassie then went to heal her Pokemon, and then she told Jack, "I'm going to catch a Pokemon in the forest, you can go ahead if you want."
Cassie then headed into the forest, trying to find a Pokemon, caught eyes with a Grubbin. "Wow! What's that Pokemon?" Cassie said, so she then took out her Pokedex. The Pokedex opened and said,

Cassie was interested in this Pokemon, so she sent out Froakie. "Froakie use Bubble!" Cassie ordered, and it was a direct hit. Cassie then chucked a Poke-ball and caught the Grubbin. "Yeah! I caught my first Pokemon!" Cassie exclaimed, and Froakie cheered with her.
Cassie then headed into the forest, trying to find a Pokemon, caught eyes with a Grubbin. "Wow! What's that Pokemon?" Cassie said, so she then took out her Pokedex. The Pokedex opened and said,

Now that he new his friend was catching a new pokemon, Jack decided that if he caught a new pokemon of his own, he could say on top. And the funniest part would be that he would keep it a secret from her so she would be surprised when he would use it in battle. So he went out to the forest on the far side of the city and started to look for a pokemon there, with the help of Pierre and Talon. Suddenly, he saw a streak of yellow. Upon further inspection, he saw that it was an elekid. Knowing this pokemon would be very useful, he sent Pierre into battle. "Okay Pierre, use mud-slap!" he exclaimed. His small pokemon jumped forward hitting the electric type with it's super effective ground type attack. Now that it was down, Jack was able to throw a pokeball at it, and ultimately catch it.
Cassie then caught up with Jack, and she then went up to him and said, "Hey, Jack, I just caught a new Pokemon!" Cassie then chucked her Poke-ball in the air, and out came her new Grubbin. "I think this Pokemon is going to be very useful," Cassie said. And then a huge, gigantic growling noise came out of nowhere. "Oh, gosh, am I hungry!" Cassie exclaimed. She then took out her backpack, which had her basic supplies. She took out some food, and started cooking, she also gave her Pokemon some food, according to their diet. Cassie then looked at Jack, and asked, "Hey, would you and your Pokemon like something to eat as well?"
Daniel picked up the pokeball as the ball clicked for third time. He smiled as he saw Cassie with a new Pokemon he rushed to her and said,"looks pretty common and weak, why can't you catch better Pokemon," Daniel released his new Pokemon Ralts and Froakie shouted with joy at the site of the new Pokemon.
Jack was very pleased when he found out she had food. Usually he had to rely on fruit from trees, and sometimes he would get so desperate, that he would try to find something in dumpsters. So when he's offered food, he already knows his answer. "Yes, thank you," he replied. Pierre and Talon also became excited when food was mentioned, and though at first they were doing other things, when they heard they were getting food, they immediately dropped what they were doing and ran/flew over to Jack and Cassie.
"All right!" Cassie exclaimed. She handed Jack a plate of her special Ramen noodles; homemade, and she handed Pierre and Talon a plate of food specially for their diet. Cassie noticed how Daniel caught a new Pokemon, "I think Grubbin will help me one day, I can just sense potential in him. Anyways, that Pokemon looks really cool!" Cassie then took out her Pokedex, again, and checked out the Ralts. The Pokedex responded with,

The second they got their food, Jack and his pokemon started eating as if they were anime characters. After finishing, Jack looked up and saw that Cassie was using her pokedex. "Oh yeah, I forgot I had that thing,"he said, but still didn't bother to take it out and use it. Then Talon attempted to steal some of Pierre's food resulting in a huge fight between the two. Jack, however, did nothing to stop them, and instead, watched, interested.
"Gallade, the psychic-fighting type,"Daniel shrugged as Froakie looked at the Ralts and smiled. Ralts looked back, then jumped up and started messing with Froakie's Froaubles.
While Cassie was eating her food, she remembered that they were heading towards Hermit Town, to face Ace, the Normal Type Trainer. Cassie slurped down all of her ramen, and then stood up. "Woo, all right, guys, let's get moving!" Cassie exclaimed. Cassie then remembered something, she wanted to have a battle with Daniel. "Hey, Daniel! Let's finally have a battle! After all, we're not truly rivals without ever battling each other!" Cassie exclaimed. Cassie wanted to see if she has improved.
Talon and Pierre had finished fighting after pierre won, and they were now sitting next to Jack wanting to watch the fight. Jack was excited to finally see what pokemon this guy had, and was secretly planning to battle him after Cassie did if he wasn't too strong.
