Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Wow, Nem, still lovin' the NemGen, it's looking awesome so far.
I especially like Volteel and Genuwoodo, and as a whole set, I really like the series of Kangaroo Pokemon.
Overall though, I think that all of the concepts are rockin', and I applaud you on how you are putting a little explaination to every Pokemon as it goes along. Must take a ton of time and effort to put these together.
Love the Kang' line. I was hoping to see a line based off of kangaroos, and you put forth a line that really makes one trait of kangaroos stand out, their kicking/fighting ability.
Terrabone also is an interesting and unique concept that I'm fond of. Extremely nice job Nem.
Nice
> Yo i did almost the same, grass fight satarter.
Gotta practice on spriting first before i can publish them here
Well done and those evolucions are NICE
Yep. Koalatem has an ability that randomly changes the weather when it enters battle, which obvioulsy works well with Weatherball.
The birds' ability gives it effective STAB on certain moves during relevant weather conditions. So fire moves get STAB in Sunny Day etc. That means they are quite versatile, and can be built in many different ways depending on the needs of a team.
Very nice, Nem. Finally, a Steel type that isn't all ‘Hey, I'm metal, I'm awesome at being defensive!' The weather thing is cool, too. I have a feeling this Pokemon would be way better than Castform in a game.
Koalatem is ‘awww.' I'd love it even more if it had massive stats to pwn the competition. Seeing this little guy defeat everyone would be very funny.
Very nice, Nemisis, you're a really good spriter. ;D I had the exact same idea for volteel (might've used the same name) only mine was a starter evo. Keep going, these are awesome.
I know this pokemon isn't from your most recent post but still...
Duglabor is amazing! It has stormed into my top 3 fan-made pokemon! I admire you for this generation. I often think of making my own but never get round to it... but maybe I will someday. I have been inspired! Yay!
Amazing sprites. I'm in love with Sheamy and Metcano the most out of all of them. I made up my own Pokemon called Angraven. ;D Seriously though Metcano looks like one of the coolest Nemesis generation Pokemon now.
Well....after three + years, I have hit my target of 100 Pokemon! Thanks to everyone who has helped in the past, particularly Stel, whose advice and ideas really helped with the creation in many of these!
Anyways, I may post some details later, but here are the final Pokemon in the Nemesis Generation, including a roaming Legendary Trio and the "Version Mascot" Pokemon, amongst others!
As always, any feedback is welcomed, but please remember that I'd prefer feedback on the ideas, rather than the sprite work
I think the idea of Gordusa was very clever. The reference to Greek Mythology was a very good idea, to go along with the reference to totems with Natu/Xatu.
Agreed, Toastie, Vampyre and Vamprey were ADORABLE! I also really like Stourke, the idea is pretty cool.
Embress and Eclipcia... beautiful. Embress almost looks like a female evo for Growlithe. It's that beautiful. Eclipcia could be... well I dunno. Nothing really is similar to it whatsoever Uniqueness = 10/10 Coolness = 10/10 Fail = -7/10
Wow, Nem. This batch just oozes awesome. Lots of Mythology-based goodness for the win. I especially love Deplesia and Airtalope. Everything about their designs is perfect. I'd really, really struggle to choose six Pokemon out of your Generation.
Meltava deserves a mention, just because the idea behind it is awesome. It's about time we had a Fire/Ice type Pokemon.
I, at one point, made a Pokemon with that name. But considering you have more experience as a fan of Pokemon, you have my permission to use that name for a Pokemon.
Grats on making it to 100. I like a lot of the pokemon up there, and posting all the ones I like seems like a waste of valuable space, in my opinion. The time traveling pokemon, however, seems to be an interesting concept, both in and out of battle.
And I like the design of the Dark/Dragon. 'S pretty.
Loving the fossil pokemon (I think) that AREN'T part rock. Whoop ^^
Thornatops, Taporch, and Deplesia. I like how you made those 3 based off real life fossils that are easily identified. (Thornatops - Triceratops, Taporch - Tapejara, and Delplesia - Plesiosaur.)
Meltava was really well done, as are all of them.
Also, Embress and Eclipcia are win. Eclipcia has to be my favorite from the whole generation =3
Yeah, 100 is quite a lot to come up with! Although I like them all, the one I've been thinking about the most is Stourke, the last one. That would be a great real Pokemon as it could explain how Pokemon eggs appear at the daycare, since no one seems to know where they come from in the games :. But anyways, great job on them all!
