False? Why would anyone dislike gen 1. It's like what kicked off the whole franchise and a lot of great Pokemon came from it. Sure, Pokemon has grown and evolved over time and many of the features from Gen I are very outdated as a result (along with some of the designs), but it's still the foundation of the franchise and is still great in its own way.
