BIC:

It was a rather calm morning in the Viridis Plains, as the gentle breeze swept down towards the caves and nuzzled around Ace, who was still asleep in his cave. He snored quietly like the outside quivering rocks that eroded along the wind, as Radion hovered over to him and giggled, knowing that he was still asleep. She quietly hovered over him while the sounds of the chirping Fletchling could be heard overhead. She gently tapped his light shell, while a hollowish sound could be heard, as she said in a calm tone, "Hey, come on sleepyhead, you gotta get up, the sun's shining, the birds are chirping, it's beautiful out there!"

He refused to wake up, as he rolled over while he continued to snore at her, as she picked him up and said, "Come on, if you can't wake up, then I'll just take you outside as usual then." She hovered out of the cave, as the area was filled with tranquility. The forenoon sun smiled at them, as the other Pokémon in the area seemed to be having their own lives, doing as they pleased. They walked over to a berry tree that was near the cave, as Radion smiled and said to Ace, who began to arise from his slumber, "Well, I suppose that we should get some berries here. There's plenty on this tree, and well the height isn't really a problem since I can just float around. Let's go grab some berries shall we?" He hesitantly nodded at her, while his arms wiggled like the oscillating leaves that surrounded the berries on the tree.

On the other side of that tree, featured a lone egg, seemingly abandoned. The top half of the egg seemed to be bague coloured and the bottom half seemed to be green, resting in the line told the green and bague, it had a green shape, looking like a bow tie.

It was rather restless as it occasionally twitches and wiggles from side to side. The tip of the egg cracked, making a crunching sound. It then tilted slightly before rolling a couple of feet and becasuse if it's oval shape it rolled around of the tree and gently cane to a stop against the root of the tree that petruded out of the ground slightly. The crack slightly increased in size creating another crunching sound, before twitching once more.

whilst down by the river a tall sturdy pokemon relaxed devouring a oren berry and pouring water down his throat. only to notice the egg by the tree hatching and the flying around it gathering up berry's. He rose to his feet and march towards the tree his crystal glistening in the rising sunlight. Dust littered his body, only the slightest feet step could be heared. "watch it you wiper snapper's," yelled don "there's an egg hatching by the side of that tree don't you go smashing it now or else there will be big trouble you hear me for my don the guardian of the eggs and all these who are young."

A little way away from the tree, Annie the drifloon floated gaily about on the spot, as the young trainer who had just attacked her, and a woman who was presumably his mother ran away from her. The trainer, who couldn't have been older than four or five, was really crying; wailing, hiccupping great big boo-hoos into the woman's chest, as she attempted to comfort him.

All Annie had done was wrap her feelers around the boy's arm.

Annie knew exactly why they had bothered to attack her; she was a shiny pokemon, and thus would make either a valuable trophy for the woman, or a cool 'starter' pokemon for the boy. But because she wasn't particularly strong in battle, Annie had but one asset that she could use to send humans packing whenever they dared to approach her; the fact that she was a drifloon. Everyone knew that drifloon were known to tug on the arms of children and kidnap them, and though Annie never planned on doing that, she still used the tale to her advantage.

While the woman was tending to her wounded lilligant, Annie had casually approached the boy, sporting her normal, cold, dead stare... And then she'd wrapped her feelers around him, and made like she was going to fly away with him, but then he'd screamed, and his mother had come running over, and the drifloon let go and floated away as the boy's mother took him in her arms.

As soon as Annie spotted the egg, she came floating over, as she felt the switch flip from within her.

"Oh my, what's this?" she trilled, "It seems that we have a darling baby pokemon on the way!"

Mike was sitting in his cave on one of the tallest mountains in Viridis Plains. He was wearing the usual Top Hat, and was bored. The mountain was mostly boring and had nothing there, so no one climbs it. That is what most Pokemon think, there is a pile of gold on top of the mountain, from the old Minior Tribe. "What is there to do?" Mike asked himself. He walked out of the cave and flew up the short walkway up to the top of the mountain. He spins a wheel made of rocks, and it lands on Rock Throw. The Blue Minior hit a rock off the mountain. "I wonder how far that one will go." Mike said. The clouds cleared up and revealed it was about to hit a Drifloon and an Egg.

The crack of the egg extended once more, now spreading almost half the egg now. It started to show a bit more liveliness and it commonly wiggled on the spot, as if something inside was trying to get out. However, some of its movements could've been mistaken for wiggles and twitches also, but it was actually vibrating slightly from the tremors created by the oncoming boulder rolling down the steep cliff and that was heading right towards them.

Annie spun sharply around as she heard the rumbles of a boulder approaching her and the egg. The boulder rolled slowly at first, but soon began to gather speed as it came down the steep incline of the mountain, hurtling towards her and the egg at a frightening speed.

In a split second, the drifloon wrapped her feelers around the egg and floated to the side, depositing it safely out of the boulder's way.

"There you go, little one," she crooned, "All safe and sound."

Greninja was hoping thourgh trees looking for other Pokémon to prey on. Ocaaionally, a branch wiuld break and Greninja would fall to the ground. Greninja stood up and looked around at the forest floor. He rhen proceeded his journey on foot. He saw a driftbloom and sprinted towards her.

The egg bulged on the top as if someone was pushing against it from the inside. The top of the egg eventually gave way and disconnected from the cracks as a head popped out of the egg. It was a beige coloured owl with a green bow tie on her neck. Rowlett struggled to open her eyes as she adjusted to the bright sunlight that greeted her to the world. As she could make out her surroundings, the rest of the egg crumbled away and the Rowlett took her first steps. There was big pauses between each step and she stretched out her wings and chirped as she stretched. Rowlett still had the top of the egg resting on top of her head. Rowlett noticed a shadow on the floor, so she looked up and saw the Drifloon floating above her. "Mu...Mummy?" Rowlett said to the Annie.

Rowlett registered at the fact that Annie was floating and she looked at her wings. She extended them out and started to flap them up and down in an attempt to fly, but didn't come to any result.

Annie went completely mushy at the sight of the hatchling rowlet, for about a split second. She was a such a darling thing; a tiny, round little chick, with fluffy baby feathers, and an oversized bow tie like marking on her chest... But her heart sank when the little creature declared her her mummy. Rowlet chicks, much like many bird pokemon, imprinted on the first moving thing that they ever saw, declaring it their parent and following it around until they grew up. So, it appeared that now, Annie would be forced to care for this hatchling, in spite of the fact that she was not of the same species, and could not teach it to fly.

"I suppose technically, I am now," she answered to the rowlet.

OOC: BTW Rowlett is going to get a nickname at some point throughout the RP. I haven't planned anything of what it will be, so yeah.

BIC: Rowlett stopped flapping her wings and looked at Annie with a heart warming smile. She held out her arms and started to jump up and down. "Mummy! Mummy!" Rowlett started to cheer at Annie. The egg shell started to bounce up and down on Rowlett's head as he jumped. It seemed Rowlett wanted to be hugged.

The drifloon hung above the little rowlet, removing the last piece of the egg shard from her head before she ruffled her feathers. Maybe Annie would enjoy being mummy to this rowlet. Annie did love baby pokemon, even though she never pictured herself raising one that wasn't of her species.

"Yes, little one," she agreed, "Mummy."

(OOC: Just a quick reminder, the spelling for the Pokémon is Rowlet.)

BIC:
Ace looked over at the other Pokémon that were within the distance, as he noticed a Rowlet that had hatched from the egg. He looked at the Drifloon that was with the Rowlet, as he dozed off in Radion's arms. She looked over him while she continued to pick the berries from the tree, as she giggled and said, "Oh come on baby, you're asleep already?" He quietly snored at her, while she hovered downward towards the Rowlet and Drifloon with a pile of berries that floated beside her.

Rowlet closed her eyes and smiled as she wrapped her wings around Annie and embraced her, with a firm hug. She turned her head 180 degrees as she looked at the oncoming floating Pokemon, holding some sort of gray and black Pokemon. She noticed berries floating beside them and she watched in awe of how the berries were flying by themselves. However, she was slightly confused at how food was able to fly and she couldn't. "Row?" Rowlet said as she curiously watched the Pokemon approach them.

don arrived just as the egg had hatched "give the little one some space!" boomed don "not every day does an egg hatch here in the plains we had best find the parents." holding his claws out for the little pokemon to rest upon and eat free.

Rowlet looked up at the Kabutops with a concerned look. She looked back at Annie, back to Don and back to Annie again. "Don't worry, my Mummy is right here," Rowlet said with a smile as she continued to nuzzle with Annie.

The small balloon kept her feelers around the little rowlet, scratching to top of her head with the heart shaped tips. "In case you haven't noticed, she doesn't seem to have parents," Annie said sharply to the kabutops, "No decidueye pair have ever been known to just leave a hatchling to fend for itself, unless they've been killed, or worse, caught. Since I was here when she hatched, and she's already imprinted on me, I think it's safe to say that I'm her parent."

Rowlet turned her head to Don, grinned then stuck out her tongue at him. Rowlet then noticed some daisies on the ground beside them. Rowlet waddled over to the daisies and started to chain them together. She made two daisy chains and placed one on top of her head and handed Annie one to have. "Here, I made you this. Do you like it?" Rowlet asked with a delighted face.

Incapable of smiling due to her cross-shaped mouth, Annie widened her eyes and floated gaily about the little pokemon, in the hopes that she would get the message. The drifloon placed the daisy chain atop her head, carefully nuzzling the rowlet with her upper body.

"Of course I do, little one," the drifloon said warmly.

The ghostly balloon turned off to the side, raising a contemplative feeler to her mouth. "I suppose you need a name, don't you? I can't keep calling you, 'little one', can I? Let's see... What should I call you?"

Rowlwt then started to wonder around, picking all the daisies that she could see. She had an entire bouquet of them in her hand and she started to hand out daisies to everyone else. She carefully placed one in Don's claw and smiled at him as she bowed. She then waddled over to Floating Raichu and stood underneath them. She held up a daisy for them to have but couldn't reach, so she started to do slight jumps in an attempt to reach them.

Annie snorted as she watched the display. "You really like those daisies, don't you?" She commented, "Bet you'd pick the entire field if I let you."

And then it dawned upon the drifloon.

"Hey, maybe that shoukd be your name. Daisy."

Rowlet stopped struggling to reach the floating Pokemon and turned to Annie as she suggested the name. Rowlet pondered in thought as she considered it and then unleashed a delighted cheer. "Daisy! I love it!" Daisy started to cheer as she threw daisies everywhere in celebration.

"fine annie the little bird's in your care now so keep an eye on her." spoke don as he caeved a little wooden sculptor for the bird of a magnificent decidueye " If you need help just ask I'm never to old to help out with the little one's around here and be carefully annie there are a lot of trainers in the area."

"You needn't worry, Don," Annie assured the kabutops, "I'm a drifloon, remember? Most trainers are too scared to battle me, after I do my thing!"

Annie floated over to the daisy-covered rowlet. "As long as I'm around, no nasty trainers are going to snatch you up, right, Daisy?"

Daisy had a singular daisy in her hand and she was simply admiring its prettiness, as she was under a blanket of daisies that she was throwing around a minute ago. As Annie floated over to her and mentioned about trainers, Daisy looked up at her with a confused and clueless face. "Trainer? What's a trainer?" Daisy asked not knowing what Annie and Don was on about.

Annie shook her head at the little bird's innocence. Of course Daisy wouldn't know the horrors of trainers. Of brutish humans who beat pokemon into submission, captured them in tiny metal balls, and then forced them to fight until they passed out.

"Trainers," Annie began, unsure of how to explain the concept to the tiny bird, "Are bad humans. They capture us and force us to fight."

"not all are bad annie remeber I am only alive because a trainer brought me back to life from a fossil." spoke don remembering the time he spent in the fossil lab until the trainer had abandoned him"but I do see where your coming from not all trainers are nice or even good people some are just pure good for nothings, who have pokemon just for collection's."

Daisy looked at Annie and Don as they tried to come up with an easy explanation for the baby. "Oh, o-okay," Daisy said with a slight worried tone as she nodded her head. Her eyes started to feel heavy as she suddenly struggled to keep them open and she unleashed a cute, quiet yawn as she stretched her wings out. She shook her head and dropped all of the daisies that were stuck in her feathers. She collected the daisies again and made it into one large pile and into a make-shift bed. She laid down in the daisy bed and closed her eyes as she started to quietly snore.

"Easy for you to say. You're a former fossil, and you're not shiny," Annie snapped, "I'm not even seen as a real pokemon to most trainers. I'm just some dumb trophy who"--

As soon as the drifloon noticed the little rowlet asleep in the daisies, she quietened down, and instead, watched over the tiny pokemon as she slept.

"How am I going to pritect her?"

"simple keep her hidden don't let her meet people and if your ever in danger leave her with me I'm strong enough to protect her," spoke don his eyes widen in realisation" anyway most people would want to know how I survive out here so I could easily be bait to those to protect her as well as you Annie."

Annie shook her head. "I don't just mean from trainers. Other pokemon, professors looking to catch a new batch of starters... And how am I going to take care of her?" The drifloon continued, "I didn't have to learn to fly. I was just born this way. I can't teach her how her wings work, or how to use her powers. Until she's at least old enough to fight for herself, I can't let her out of my sight."

Daisy started to rustle around and snuggle up in her daisy bed, but she was about roll out of the bed. However, a plant seemed to reach down and push her back into the bed before she could roll off and then the plant seemed to go back to normal and lose any animation it had a second ago. Her daisy crown seemed to lean off her head as well, but some grass seemed to have got some life just like the plant and reached up and carried the daisy crown back onto Daisy's head before going back into position and losing its animation also.

Radion quietly floated over to Daisy, as she gently placed some berries next to her, as she said, "Hey, you should try these. They're pretty good, and well I've heard that some actually can help with injuries and even poisoning." She ate an oran berry, while Ace continued to doze off. She smiled at her, as the pile of berries continued to float beside her. She thought to herself while she continued to eat the berry, "Wow, I never knew that my psychic power would be this much... I suppose that I can actually lift a nice pile of berries now!"

The drifloon was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the grass seemed to have come to life as the little bird slept. Perhaps, Daisy would learn how to use her powers without the need of the haunted balloon's intervention. How did rowlet hatchlings learn to use their powers, anyway? Were they just born with them, and learned control from their decidueye parents? Or, did they have to be taught everything?

Annie continued to watch over the little rowlet as she slept, with all of her questions swirling around in her mind.

Mike woke up from its nap. He broke out of his meteor form and into his Core Form. He put on his Top Hat to look at the boulder. It went a good distance. "I guess it missed the Pokemon." The Blue Minior flew up to the wheel again to see what thing will keep it interested. The wheel landed on 'Battle from Afar' "OK, I guess I will try and beat a Pokemon from far away." Mike said to himself. "That Rowlet looks easy." Mike used Rock Slide on the side of the mountain. They start to roll down fast, and hit other rocks into falling down. "That should take care of him." Mike said, looking down the mountain, preparing for the havoc. "I kind of am playing god now." Mike muttered. "I mean I'm so high up in the clouds, and have gold."

THe floor started to rumble, a lot more violently than it did when Daisy was still and egg. The rumbling interrupted Daisy's slumber and she woke up, stretched out her wings and rubbed her eyes. She struggled to get up on her two feet and she almost fell over but she kept her balance by extending out her wings. She then around for Her mum but the first thing she noticed was the large land slide that was aiming right for then. "Row!" Daisy screamed in terror as she watched the landslide charge closer and closer.

Daisy covered herself with her wings in an attempt to pretect herself, but was obviously going to be ultimately useless. "Row...let," Daisy cried before The landslide eventually reached Daisy and submerged where she stood in rock and rubble.

After the rubble stopped flooding the area, a quiet chirp could be heard from the tree where Daisy's egg was found under.

Annie hurried in front of Daisy, attempting to blow the rocks away with a gust attack... But the weakness of the gale ultimately did very little to push the rocks away from the hatchling, and thus, she was left with just one option, since the tiny pokemon couldn't fly yet.

She wrapped her feelers around Daisy, and softly commanded, "You stay still, and Mumm will get you to safety, little one."

Greninja watched the group from a distance. He laughed in happiness and the Rowlet. Although he enjoyed watching them, He still waite for the perfect time to strike

The rocks surrounded around Daisy and wedged her inbetween large rocks and the ricks started to build around Daisy and was eventually going to collapse and crush Daisy where she stood. "Mummy...help," Daisy cried as she got more and more squished between the rocks. The tree started to become lively and sway from side to side, even though there was no wind.

Greninja lept out at the tree with a blade of darkness, knocking it down. he then lept to Daisy and garbbed her. Greninja, carrying Daisy, leapt up to a safe place. He set Daisy down and said," There, now your safe,' HE said as he turned and started to walk away.
