Ask to Join Viridis Plains RP

Annie shook her head at the sight, smiling widely as the little bird settled into a peaceful slumber. What a day she'd had, considering that it was her first...

The balloon pokemon floated outside of the cave and plucked an iapapa berry from a branch nearby, relishing in the sour taste that it coated her tongue with. As soon as she was done with her meal, she floated back to the cave and stood vigil over Daisy, read to guard the cave from any intruders which might come by. Being crepsucular was turning out to be strangely beneficial for her and the little rowlet; while she slept, Annie could stay awake and guard the cave.

Daisy peacefully slept in the cave all night. When the sun arose and the moon went away, Daisy slowly opens her eyes, blinking as they opened wider and wider. Daisy noticed the sunlight creeping into the cave but Daisy still felt extremely fatigued. It was similar to a jet lag feeling. She waddled out of the cave and onto the tree shrubbery and continued her sleep in the sunlight to collect energy, so then she can be active during the night as her kind is meant to.

"Oh, right. You're a grass type, huh?" Annie remarked, as she watched Daisy leave the shade of the cave, only to go straight back to sleep as soon as she hit the sunlight. "I shoulda factored that in."

Rowlet, dartrix, and decidueye were, by nature, nocturnal species, which somewhat clashed with Daisy's crepuscular nature. While she, a drifloon, never had to factor in exposure to sunlight, and only ever had to sleep at midday, Daisy would need to sleep all day in sunny spots. Which meant that she would be alone during the periods in which Annie needed to sleep...

The drifloon's mind wandered to thoughts of the threats she now faced in Viridis Plains... That greninja wouldn't be back, would he?

"I wonder if Don's alright," she said aloud, as she picked a payapa berry.

Daisy subconsciously ruffled her feathers as she fidgetted in her regenerative slumber. Her tummy rumbled as she slept. The vines revolved around her for a brief moment before zooming off in a direction.

A Tropius was peacefully strolling through the forest as it had recently awoken from his sleep and was happily walking around his home, admiring nature's beauty. The Tropius was caught off guard as he felt something strongly pluck one of his fruits under his chin. "Oh...Wha-?" Tropius said as he turned to see the vine holding a couple of his bananas and then zoom off into the trees above. Tropius' intriguing feeling developed as he was curious of the strange animated plant that he interacted with, so he reached his head into the shrub above, following the vine.

The vine carefully placed the pile of bananas beside Daisy as she slept and then merged back with the rest of the greenery. Tropius's head then emerged from the shrubbery behind Daisy and he looked at Daisy with a rather confused look. "Was it this young one's doing?" He asked himself aloud, oblivious to Annie's presence. He put two and two together since his bananas ended up in Daisy's possession. Tropius moved his head closer to the back of Daisy and squinted his eyes. His body still submerged in the shrubbery since his feet were on the ground below.

Greninja stood in a tree watching. " I should go apologize..." he lept from the tree and walked towards Annie and Daisy's shelter he walked up to the entrance, which was crowded by a large Tropius. He started to say," Hey I'm sorry, I'll never bother you again..." Greninja was picked up by Kommo-o who had followed Tropius. Kommo-o threw Greninja away.Greninja landed in the stream and struggled to stand. Kommo-o roared towards the Tropius.

The racket of Greninja, awoke Daisy from her power nap and she slowly opened her eyes. She already felt re-energised after that nap since she bathed in the sunlight. Daisy stretched and scouted around her home to see Annie picking berries. Since the two Pokemon fighting, brought their fight out of their home before she awoke and could witness it. She heard a rustling from behind so she turned her head around as she kept her body still and was majorly startled by the large Tropius face, inches away from hers. She tried to step away from the Pokemon but stumbled over her legs since she wasn't used to walking with her head turned 180 degrees. She curled up on the floor as she shook in terror.

Tropius watched with a sad and shocked face as he felt responsible for the hatchling's big fright. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm not bad, don't worry. My name's Sheldon," Sheldon said trying to calm down Daisy and tell her that he was a friendly. Sheldon looked up at Annie who was picking berries. "Excuse me! I accidently scared the young one...sorry," Sheldon said to Annie, hoping to get her attention.

Kommo-o slowly walked towards the Tropius. He tried to be as stealthy as possible. Greninja tried to warn him but the rivers current dragged him down and he gurgled water when he tried to speak. Kommo-o was almost in striking distance of Tropius. Greninja was washed down the about 1,000 feet from where the shelter was.

(I haven't read the story yet so i'll just start with this)
Petallie was a Shiny Vulpix,She loves to play in the yellow flower field.Because if anyone bad comes by she would use her tails to hide as a flower.Today she was practicing painting her tails to match other flowers since she wanted to visit the other flower field and wanted to disguise as a Daisies, after painting her tails white she went to the flower field jumping with joy."THIS IS SOOO FUUUUUUUUUN!!"She said hopping around the flower field,She then got an idea to make daisy flower crowns,She picked up some daisies and began making them. After making two of them she wore one and look at the other crown, she smiled and call someone,"Yo,Chikori!I made thi-"She turned around noticing that she wasn't with her anymore, she forgot about that and began to cry a bit,but refused to cry and putted the crown on a rock around the daisies,After putting it she continued to play in the flowers to forget about her sorrow.

Annie whispered some sweet nothings, inaudible to everyone except her and Daisy as she offered her feeler to the little rowlet, tossing her berry to the side with the other.

"Annie," the drifloon replied disinterestedly, "And you have nothing to worry about. You've done the least damage to her so far. Aside from Don, and that raichu, it seems that all of Viridis Plains have been out to get her and me. There's someterribly violent pokemon about."

Rowlet stood up and hugged one of Annie's feelers

"Oh..." Sheldon had a mix of reactions. He was relieved that Drifloon wasn't angry at them from scaring the hatchling, but was concerned as when the Drifloon mentioned that there has been a considerable amount of hostile Pokemon in the area. "Nice to meet you, Annie. I'm Sheldon. I'm terribly sorry to hear about the troubles you've been having," Sheldon glanced down to the Rowlet and back up to Annie. "So where are her parents then?" Sheldon asked curiously.

Kommo-o readied it's claws to strike Sheldon. Greninja used agility to try to close the gap between Him and the Kommo-o. Kommo-o rasied it's claw and swung it at Sheldon. Greninja hoped in the way and was hit to the ground. Hard. Kommo-o again slashed at Sheldon, this time the attack landed.

"Technically, she doesn't have any," Annie answered, "I found her egg, she hatched, and she imprinted on me instantly. Since I'm not of her species, I'm not exactly equipped to look after her, but I can't just leave her to fend for herself..."

The drifloon looked over at the tiny bird, who had latched onto her feelers once again. "Not since she's already so attached to me."

"Oh, I see..." Sheldon said as. "Well, I wish you and the little one the best of luck, goodbye," Sheldon said as he started to lower his head through the shrub and back down to under the tree canopy. Sheldon then forgot something to mention and reached his head back through the trees. "Oh, also Annie, are you aware of the young one's ability it seems to have. It seems to have some sort of plant-telekinesis type of power. A vine plucked my fruits and brought it back to the young one. I'm fine with it, it's just peculiar that it is even able to do that," Sheldon said to Annie as he lifted his chin up to show the shaven neck, where the fruit previously was.

Daisy sensed the calmness of Annie with Sheldon present. Daisy felt reassured by Annie's somewhat of trust of Sheldon. Daisy stopped shaking and calmed down and sat back down where she power napped a moment ago. She turned her head 180 degrees and nervously smiled at Sheldon and Sheldon smiled back. "M-my name's Daisy," Daisy said nervously, as she glanced back at Annie.
