Well I have always had the believe that since they are a prevolution to the pokemon that came in a previous region. It would stand that they would be there as well.

Yea, I generally go by the rule of "if you see a baby bear, the momma bear is not far behind", meaning that if you see Pokemon that usually appear in groups or if there is an overabundance of them and they don't migrate through the region very often or don't have the means to, then it is likely to find the evolved forms nearby. Same can be said if this was reversed.
Also, it is often for creatures to hide their babies until they are able to live out on life. Meaning that if a Pikachu gives birth to a Pichu, they will keep the Pichu hidden until they evolve.

@BloodRedRobot, would be ok to give Alice an Aipom. I do not want them to evolve either. Though I am thinking of making them a shiny. It is not set in stone yet, but I did want to get your opinion on it. At the moment her team is up in the air, so it will not be a problem to change it.

Oh if I do give her one. I was thinking that it would be a shiny. Which is pink by the way. I love the shiny of Aipom. I would have the Aipom be a girl. She will be a bit hyper like that of Alice who will probably befriend her in a story type way instead of a battle. The personality will probably be that she can be a bit of prankster and love to perform and battle. Think of her being a very over the top show girl who loves attention.

I will have to cut down the amount of RPs I'm in. Life has gotten more difficult and I need to prioritize my time to me, my child, and my fiancé. Which means I'll have to cut Sean's journey short. Sorry EmoKitty :/ I don't like doing this, but I'll have to.

We are planning to. XD but that's not what's causing all the stress. Moving houses is. When you have lived in a house for 13 years and are expected to leave due to eviction.... its kind of rough

Gym battles, you basically go through the layout that they show in the games. You can include battles with the gym trainers if you want, but just show your battle with the gym leader. That's all.
