Private/Closed A Journey Through Kalos - Pokemon RP

Sylvie jumped in surprise as she looked up at the boy with a quizzical look before looking back at her game. There was a silhouette of a Pidgeotto and Sylvie instantly answered "Pidgeotto, Normal and Flying type", as she quickly tapped the answer on her game, a 'ping' noise to show that she was correct and it moved on to the next one, a silhouette of a Mega Gengar. "Mega Gengar, Ghost and Poison type." She said quickly, smirking up at the boy with pride like she was challenging him to beat her at this game.

Meanwhile, Muffin continued to wander around Santalune City, stopping by a beautiful fountain with a mermaid statue out the top, spewing out blue water out its mouth, the light reflecting the water and making it shiny as well as a bright blue. Muffin was extremely tempted - and she couldn't stop herself from leaping into the water and swimming around in it happily, kicking every coin she saw out of the fountain like she was in a video game and the objective was to clear the fountain of coins. She was really enjoying this, giggling at every person's cross reaction to her as she playfully splashed around in the fountain.

Questions after questions, correct answers after correct answers, it was a tie game for them, using their smartness. The next silhouette was a Eevee, "Eevee, normal type." Christian said quickly, he then looked and saw that her Eevee was probably missing, because the Evee was usually by her side. "Hey, um, I forgot to tell you my name. My name is Christian, I'm from New Bark Town, in the Johto Region, nice to meet you." Christian said holding his hand out, hoping for a handshake. He then asked, "Do you have Eevee with you? Because you usually have it walking beside you, and it's not there."

Sylvie paused the game and looked up at the boy, slightly nervous. "I-I'm Sylvie, from Lumiose City, and um...No, Muffin- Eevee isn't here. I-I'm sure she's fine, she-she's independent," Sylvie babbled, stuttering her words as she shakily held out a hand and shook his hand awkwardly.

"Do - do people - sha-shake hands anymore? Th-these days?" She blurted out bluntly before laughing sheepishly. "No, I'm sorry - I-I'm not good at...the whole, so-socializing thing," Sylvie murmured quietly, embarrassed and awkwardly waiting for Christian's reply, shaking slightly she was so nervous.

Meanwhile, Muffin had jumped out of the fountain and was now shaking the water off her fur, annoyed that her fur was now soggy. She grumpily trudged over to a cafe and charged inside, jumping onto a chair with a pillow and rubbing her wet fur against it to dry herself up. However, the cashier noticed her and ran up to her before shouting at her furiously, shooing her out the cafe.

After Muffin was kicked out she decided to wander around more, exploring everything Santalune City had to offer, not really sure what to do. She was enjoying her freedom a lot, though she was beginning to want to see Sylvie.

Jake was Confused on Why the Girl Ran Away, but he thought it was really rude. He Then Looked down and saw his Litwick was missing. He Panicked as He Ran around Santalune Forest. After Looking around for a Bit Jake Finally Found Him. He Grabed Him realizing he was poisoned. He Ran As Fast as eventually making it to a Center. He Gave The Nurse His Litwick as he decided to Walk Around Lumiose City to Calm Down.

Euclides got out of his house, inhaling a great amount of air, and then screaming "IM BACK!!!!!" His voice soared through the city, as he ran towards the PokéMarket, people looked at him while he was going there, they were smiling at him. He opened the door, looking at the PokéMarket guy "Hello! My old friend!" The PokéMarket guy said "Hey! How is it going, Mark?" Euclides said. " Everything is good, also, what brings you there? You're going to be back to training your Pokémon?" Mark said "Yes! For sure! Also, Mark, can you tell me where should I go next? I got two badges." Sukoku placed his hand inside his pocket, sticking his tongue out and looking around, moving his hand inside it for some seconds, after pulling out a rusty badge case, he opened it, showing the badges to Mark "Oh! That's incredible, Euclides! I was worried about your health after you got that illness." Oooh, why? I couldn't be better! As long as I'm with my Pokémon, I'm good!" He smirked, closing his eyes, blushing a bit, he then opened his eye, looking at Mark, saying "Ok, I want some potions, please." He handed over the money, Mark refusing, saying "No, no, no, I will give you those for free!" Mark handed over the potions, Euclides picking them up and saying - Thank you, sir! - His Totodile hoped over the table, saying "Toto, Totodile!"

Euclides said "Sooo, where should I go?" Mark then said "Goldenrod is your next destiny!" Euclides then said "Buut, it's been a while since I've got there, I think that the routes I took to get into there might have become...Nothing?" Mark then said "You just need to take the route 37, then you turn to the right when you reach the route 36, then just go down and you're there!" Euclides smirked, looking to the roof of the PokéMarket, then looking at Mark, saying" I knew something had changed, now, I shall restart my Pokémon adventure!

Euclides went all the way down to route 37, as a kid went out a tree bush, saying "I'M THE BEST! YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" Sukoku smiled, saying "Hey, kid! What do you mean?" The kid got angry, screaming "WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING AT ME?!" The kid placed his hand inside his pocket, slipping a Pokéball from it, throwing it forwards, screaming "GO, WEEDLE!" - Euclides laughed. Placing his hand inside his shoulder bag, slipping a Pokéball from it, saying "Then... I shall beat you" He threw the Pokéball forwards, screaming "GO! POTTER!" The Totodile was sent out, landing, facing the Weedle. The kid said "WEEDLE! USE POISON STING!" The Weedle jumped towards Totodile, trying to bite it, as Euclides screamed "POTTER, EVADE IT AND USE BITE RIGHT AWAY!" The Totodile sidestepped, opening its jaws, placing them right around the Weedle, closing them savagely, the Weedle getting bitten, fainting instantly. Euclides started to laugh, as he danced beside his Totodile, which started dancing seconds after. The kid screamed, running towards the bush and hiding. Euclides just went straight, going down to Route 36, saying "Things have changed... Now people are a bit more... Ehh... Reckless, I would say." He looked around, noticing that it was almost night {That 'going down' took him some few hours XD} he then said "Uhhh, I should camp there, or maybe... I don't know.. Go ahead?" He closed his eyes, thinking a bit, then opening them, smiling, saying "I need to go ahead!' He ran towards the end of the Route 36.

As he ran by the route 36's end he saw many people camping on the route, as he asked himself what was happening [M: What are all those people doing there? Wasn't this route a bit... Unknown? ] His smile closed, as he shook his head, resuming his run, after some hours, he reached the route 35, it was the last route he needed to travel, as he stopped by a near tree, sitting down and resting a bit with his Pokémon. After some minutes, he got up, walking forth a bit, noticing a big crowd, as he approached, he noticed that it was a giant park, with many trainers battling in it, he smirked, running in, thinking [ M: This is my chance to train my Pokémon! ] He approached someone that had a pink hair, saying ( Hey, mind if I battle you? ) The person said "Hmmm... No, but first, come with me" The person walked away, Euclides following her. Some hours later, they arrived at Goldenrod city, as the pink haired girl said "Well, sorry, I didn't introduce myself, my name is Whitney, and I'm the leader of the Goldenrod GYM" Euclides' expression went blank, as he opened his mouth wide, falling back comically, getting up slowly, looking up at her, saying "Buut... Ah... I don't know... I kinda need some rest..." Whitney smiled, saying "It's okay! You can come back later!" Euclides would nod yes, walking towards the first hotel he saw, taking a loooong bath and resting his Pokémon. ~ THE END ~

The girl sassed him, and then got up off of the log and took off once again. How? How did a human being have that much endurance? He groaned just thinking about it. Slowly, very slowly, Jason brought himself up to a sitting position. Cyndaquil did likewise next to him. Jason dug around in his pockets for a bag of dried berries, and produced a dried oran berry, before handing it to the Fire Type, who took it and ate it greedily. With a huff, Jason picked himself up off of the ground entirely, and motioned for Cyndaquil to jump up on his shoulder.

"Well, we tried. I just hope she doesn't get into anymore trouble with those Team Psychic guys. What do you say we go check out some of the Pokemon in this forest?"

Cyndaquil yipped at him in agreement. The two of them began to explore the grasses of Santalune Forest, with Jason's Pokedex in hand. There was an abundance of Pokemon, some Jason had seen before, like Pidgey, and some he had never so much as heard of, like the little monkey Pokemon that were of differentiating types. There were also some pretty nifty jackrabbit Pokemon, and Jason was debating the idea of catching one in his head. For what he assumed to be a first evolution, they seemed pretty big, which meant that they could only grow in size. He could use a Pokemon like that, theoretically.

Jason had just spotted a few Bunnelby in the grass before him, chowing down on berries, when a high pitched trill whistled from the trees. Jason and Cyndaquil tensed up, and had to hold in gasps when a big red bird, larger than the Fletchling they had seen thus far, swooped down from the sky and barreled over the rabbit Pokemon with a glowing white beak. The Bunnelby were sent tumbling into the dirt, and the bird, which Jason's Pokedex identified as a Fletchinder, soared up into the sky and began to swoop back around.

He clearly wanted the berries. Jason wanted him.

Cyndaquil was on the ground within moments, with his back flared up. The Fletchinder swooped back down for the berries, but instead was intercepted by Cyndaquil's Quick Attack. The bird flapped his wings and screeched in a mixture of surprise and pain, before it barreled at Cyndaquil with a surprisingly fast Peck. The shrew had no time to react, and ended up doing a backflip in the dirt. He landed on his feet, skidding to a halt.

"Well, that didn't work. Let's try an Ember!"

The hail of cinders left Cyndaquil's mouth, and it seemed as if they were gonna hit. That was, until Fletchinder opened its beak and sent off an Ember attack of its own! The two Fire Type moves collided in the air with a large explosion, and before Jason could issue an order, Fletchinder swooped in once again with another Peck attack. Cyndaquil took the blow head on, but this time managed to stay on its feet. Cyndaquil tagged the bird with another Quick Attack, before it took to the skies once again.

"When it comes down, blind it with a Smokescreen!"

As expected, the Fletchinder came around for another Peck, only to fly itself straight into the ground when the smoke blinded him. Cyndaquil pelted him with an Ember attack as it crashed into the ground, slammed into it with a Quick Attack, before finally finishing things off with one more Ember as the bird tried to pick himself up. As Fletchinder lay stunned on the ground, Jason chucked a Pokeball at him. The bird was pulled inside with a red glow, but Jason wasn't able to watch the Pokeball wobble as the bird tried to break out.

Instead, his eyes were focused on Cyndaquil, whose body was enveloped in a white glow. The light began to glow with more intensity, until it came to the point where Jason couldn't see Cyndaquil's fur at all. All he could make out of his Pokemon was his outline, which suddenly began to elongate. His small Cyndaquil rapidly grew in size, until he was almost half as long as Jason was tall. Once the light faded, Jason was left staring at a Pokemon that was narrower in the head than it was at the rear.

Cyndaquil- No, Quilava, turned to him and quipped happily, as fire erupted from the top of its head and on its flank.

"You- Dude, you evolved!" Jason laughed and dropped down to a knee as Quilava tackled him in a hug. He picked the newly evolved Fire Type up in his arms, and scratched the side of his now extinguished head. He placed Quilava back down onto the ground, and went to collect his Pokeball, which seemed to have successfully captured the Fletchinder.

"Well, what do you say we go get this guy check up, eh Quilava?"

And with his newly evolved Pokemon trailing at his side, Jason began to make his way back into Santalune City.

Halt had left the pokemon center, not bothering to chase the girl. 'She ran off for a reason.' He walked around the town, and dismissed his idea about waiting here for the kid who offered to go around with him. Halt walked over to the gate to route four, and returned Chimchar to his pokeball. "Your not gonna go chase down trainers again." He told him, as he walked ahead. He quickly skated through the near empty route, avoiding major pokemon battles. As he walked into Luminose City, two people grabbed his arms, and dragged him into a corridor. "MewTwo. What do you know?" The person in the middle asked.
"Very little. And why would I tell you, anyway?" Halt spat back at the small group of three. He doubted their strength, but then a pokemon in the shadows stepped out. It was two dark for Halt to see what it was, because almost immediately after it stepped out, Halt was hit by a very powerful Confusion, knocking him out.

"Well, it's fine if your nervous meeting new people and making new friends, the same thing with me. When I was little, I too used to have problems socializing with new people, tripping over my words too. But the thing is, are you sure Muffin will be okay alone, 'cause I think something bad might happen to her, I'm quessing that is her gender. Anyway, I think we should go look for Muffin." Christian said.

 

[Sukoku]

Euclides woke up, walking towards the bathroom of the hotel, taking a quick bath and wearing his sweatshirt, he then slowly wore his cargo pants, after he done all that, he wore his hat, picking his shoulder bag up and walking off the bathroom.

"This is going to be my third GYM battle... But I'm I will feel like I'm having my first GYM battle!"

He went towards the door, rubbing inside his pocket, slipping out the key, unlocking the door.

He walked through the Goldenrod city streets, looking around.

"This city has grown up since I visited it! Wow!"

He approached the GYM, looking at the logo.

"I can't believe my eyes...I guess it's time to take a real challenge!"

He ran in, facing the GYM leader. He smirked, placing his index and thumb on his cap, moving it back. He then smiled, looking at the GYM leader.

"I guess it's time. I'd like to challenge you."

GYM Leader : "Ok! Go, Clefairy!"

She threw the Pokéball forwards, as the Clefairy came out, it faced Euclides with an angry face, as he placed his right hand inside his bag, slipping a Pokéball from it.

"Ok, then, Potter!"

The Totodile roared, as the Clefairy ran towards it, tackling it's gut, the Totodile then growled, looking at the Clefairy.

"POTTER, USE ICE FANG!"

The Totodile run towards the Clefairy, opening it's mouth widely, as he did it, the Clefairy smirked, trying to sidestep, but it was too late, the Totodile had closed it's mouth on the little Clefairy, which was almost down. The Clefairy then jumped towards Totodile, slapping it's face.The Totodile got angry, roaring once again.

"POTTER, END IT WITH WATER GUN!"

The Totodile stored some water on it's cheeks, spilling it all on Clefairy before it could even run at it, the Clefairy fell down, fainted. The Totodile closed it's eyes, smiling, running towards Euclides and hugging his leg, it then opened it's eye, turning towards the GYM leader.

"Good job, Potter, now you can rest!"

Potter then went towards a little bank, sitting down on it, slipping a flag from.. No where? With 'Euclides, go!' written on it.

"Ok... Now.. Time to shock you, if you get me!"

Sukoku slipped a Pokéball from his pocket, throwing it forwards, as his Pikachu came out. The GYM leader also threw a Pokéball forwards, revealing a Miltank.

"Gh!? I never saw that one before! Better check what it is!"

He picked his PokéDex up, pointing it to Miltank, the PokéDex saying : Miltank the milk cow Pokémon, it has no evolutions at all.

It's Milk is said to be fresh and delicious.

"Hmmm.. That's good."

He would place his PokéDex back into his pocket. As the Miltank went towards his Pikachu, tackling it's body, flinging it away. The Pikachu would hit a wall, falling down, it would be almost fainted, as it slowly got up...

"PIKACHU! OK, USE THUNDERBOLT!!!"

Pikachu's cheeks would send out little sparks, as a giant charge of electricity came out of it's body, hitting Miltank, it would be sent back, getting many bruises around it's body. It looked at Pikachu, as it started to roll towards it, the Pikachu tried to run, but it got hit, fainting.

"PIKACHU! NO! HEY, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!"

Euclides ran towards it, looking down at it's completely harmed body, retacting it, poiting forwards.

"POTTER! END THIS!"

His Totodile hoped off the bank, throwing th flags away, staring the Miltank.

Sylvie nodded and quickly hurried over to the door of the Pokemon Center. "Yeah," She mumbled, pushing the door open and rushing outside, not wasting a second. "Muffin?" She called out loudly, cupping the sides of her mouth with her hands. "Muffin? Hey, where are you?" She yelled, running around Santalune City, looking around frantically. She knew Muffin could be a bit absent minded sometimes - clumsy too, just like her. Sometimes she wouldn't think properly.

Muffin charged down Route Four like a goat in Goat Simulator, sprinting as fast as her little legs could take her. She was trying to get some exercise while trying to get to Lumiose City at the same time - and eventually, she did get there. She happily leapt through the exit/entrance to Route Four, wandering around Lumiose City cheerfully, admiring the sights as a tourist - even stealing one of the Kalos maps from a little stand when nobody was looking.

A couple minutes of searching passed by, until Christian spotted a walking map. Turns out that the map is Muffin carrying the map. "Hey Sylvie, Muffin is a Eevee, right? If so, then I think I found her. We should check if it is Muffin." Christian said pointing at the Eevee wandering Santalune City with a map.

Sylvie whipped her head around to see a little brown speck running around Lumiose City carrying around a map in her mouth. "That is Muffin!" She exclaimed excitedly, hastily limping down Route Four as Muffin continued to wander around Lumiose City, feeling happy and carefree.

"Come on!" Sylvie shouted as she quickly turned her head and grinned to Christian, waving at him to hurry up as she continued limping down Route Four, Muffin completely unaware as she hopped onto a bench, sat down and began to viciously rip up the map, destructively tearing it up into tiny shreds as Sylvie giggled at her silly behaviour.

TEAM PSYCHIC
Meanwhile, at the Team Psychic base in Anistar City, their underground base directly under the massive crystal, the leader of Team Psychic, Maria, was sitting in her office typing on a computer, trying to hack into Professor Sycamore's files with all his research inside - but every time she failed. After the twenty-sixth attempt of the week, and failing again, Maria groaned in fury and smashed her head against the keyboard as she shoved her chair-with-wheels into the wall and stormed out of her office, fiercely glaring at Trevor and Bill, who were both joking around and eating crisps.

"YOU SLACKERS!" She roared in anger. "GET TO WORK!" She shouted, stomping her right leg in anger at them as she looked around the grey room where a lot of desks with computers on top were, as well as lots of other things in the room. Trevor and Bill quickly rushed off to their desks as they stuck their crisp packets into their pockets, straightening their faces and beginning to try to find information about Mewtwo.

Maria growled to herself crossly as she continued to glare at Trevor and Bill. "WHERE ARE THE FIGHTERS AND GRUNTS?" She shouted loudly, her voice so loud you could hear it from the surface.

"Ms. Maria, they went to go find information about Mewtwo and Mega Evolution from random Pokemon trainers," Trevor babbled quickly, his face a nervous wreck, stuttering as he talked, not daring to look at Maria.

"GOOD!" She yelled fiercely, stomping back into her office with a deafening shout. She then kicked the wall multiple times a second later. "DAMN YOU SYCAMORE!" She screeched at the top of her lungs, kicking the wall again and again as a couple planks from the ceiling dropped down onto her floor, dust floating around in the air like a huge swarm of flies.

Winter leaned against a tree, focused on the book she was reading. Flare was perched on her shoulder, pecking at the book every few moments.

Winter let out a long sigh and finally lifted her head up from the book. She shut the book and stretched, getting up. Flare flew off of her shoulder, a little startled by the sudden movement. Winter shoved the book back into her backpack.

Winter headed out of the forest, where she was met with the busy streets of Lumiose City. She quickly made her way through a crowd of people, Flare close behind her.

Totodile looked at Miltank with an intimidating face, as it opened it's jaws slowly, the Miltank charging towards Totodile, as it came, Euclides screamed:

"POTTER, USE BITE!"

The Miltank would be bitten on the head, getting stuck on the Totodile's jaws, as Euclides screamed:

"NOW, USE ICE FANG!"

The Totodile opened it's jaws, closing them once again, this time, they were engulfed by a freezing substance, wich made the Miltank get really damaged, it walked back slowly, as it started to roll towards Totodile, hitting it many times... Totodile fell down, it's eyes closed, Euclides screamed :

"NO! NOOOO!!! POTTER!!!!!!"

The Totodile opened it's eyes, as it ran towards Miltank, Euclides opening a giant smile, screaming:

"NOW, USE WATER GUN!"

The Totodile's cheek started to inflate, as it fired a stream of water at the Miltank in mid-run, the Miltank getting hit by it, falling down, slowly getting up. As the Totodile noticed it getting up, it got ready, as the Miltank went rolling towards it, this time it was waaayyy faster, as it bumped onto Totodile, making it fly away, hitting the wall. It was nearly fainted, as it began to glow.... Euclides looked at it with a confused face, as it's shape began to change, as the glow started to cease, Euclides screamed:

"YESSSSSS!!!!"

The Totodile had evolved into Croconaw! As it evolved, Euclides looked at it, screaming:

"NOW, END THIS WITH BITE!!!"

The Croconaw ran towards Miltank, biting it's head, as the Miltank fell down... It was fainted!!!! Euclides had finally won his third badge, after years! He ran towards his recently-evolved Croconaw, hugging it, getting a bit harmed due to the spikes on it's back, as Pikachu went out of it's Pokéball, hugging Euclides' leg.

GYM Leader : Well, you've beaten me... You deserve the plain badge!

She threw the badge at Euclides, as he caught it in mid-air, picking up his badge case, placing the plain badge on it's socket.

He got off the GYM, his Pokémon were following him, he would be really happy due to his two new achievements, a Croconaw and the Plain badge!

Jake Walked around for about 30 Minutes, Before heading back to the center. Nurse Joy handed him his Litwick as he had was Glad it wasn't too bad. He then Walked out of the Center When he saw an Eevee Riping up a Map. Jake Giggled at this But his Litwick Saw it was the Same Eevee from before. so it Jumped of of Jake's Sholder And Ran To it. Once it got to the Bench, Jake's Litwick Tried Getting On the Bench but couldn't due it Height. So it did the next best thing. It stood at a Spot where the Eevee Could see Him amd stared at the Eevee.

Christian chased the Eevee with Sylvie until Muffin went on a bench and started to rip up the map she was holding. "Well, we got Muffin back now, but what are we going to do now?" Christian asked Sylvie. But for some reason, Christian started to think of the two girls wearing purple running out of route 4, "I got a question, who were the two people wearing purple that ran out of route 4?"

Having made it back in Lumiose City, Jason and Quilava were taking a small break outside a cafe near the Prism Tower. Halt had yet to reappear; the other boy hadn't followed him like Jason assumed he would have, and wasn't anywhere to be seen. It was a shame, as Jason would have enjoyed traveling with someone else, but he knew Halt would pop back up sooner or later. After all, he was challenging the Gyms too. One day, Jason knew, they would meet for a battle. He couldn't wait.

Putting those thoughts aside for the moment, Jason stood from his table. They'd hung around Lumiose long enough, now it was time to get back on the road. If they were quick about it, Jason was sure that he and Quilava could make it to Camphrier Town before it started to get dark. They'd stay there in the Pokemon Center for the night, and then catch the Pokemon Showcase before heading to Cyllage City.

Jason threw his backpack over his shoulder, and began to navigate through the streets of Lumiose City with Quilava on his heels. They were getting close to the exit onto Route 5, when they turned a corner and Jason accidentally ran into a girl and her Fletchling, both parties sprawling to the ground.

Sitting up from the concrete sidewalk, Jason was quick to apologize to the girl he'd just assaulted, "Sorry! I, uh, wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

"Old friends." Sylvie blurted out quickly, a bright pinkish-red washing over her face. "They visited Kalos from Unova. We were best friends when I was young. They work at some place in Unova and they have to wear purple uniforms, they came straight from their work to here to visit me." Sylvie babbled hastily - she wasn't even sure why she was lying about them, she just didn't want to talk about what had happened. Her injured wrist hurt so bad, so she cupped it with her okay hand as she beamed at Muffin.

"Hey Muffin! Are you okay?" She asked cheerfully, as Muffin jumped onto her head and hung her face down at Sylvie's face, nodding happily as she clung to her head by sticking her feet claws into Sylvie's backpack. Sylvie giggled happily and gently let go of her injured wrist, raising her okay hand to stroke Muffin's head, as Muffin smiled happily. She then jumped back onto the floor and looked up at the boy with a puzzled face, hinting to Sylvie that she wanted to know who this boy is.

"This is Christian," She told Muffin happily, who stood beside her and nodded. "He's from New Bark Town, in the Johto region." Sylvie introduced Muffin cheerfully, Muffin sniffing Christian curiously, especially his hand, not completely trusting him just yet and slowly backing away, right next to Sylvie, slightly hiding behind her legs. Sylvie just hoped Christian would believe the lie about the two mysterious girls.

Christian looked confused when Muffin sniffed his hand and backing away, "Why was Muffin sniffing my hand like that, was something wrong? Oh well, since you introduced me to your Pokémon, then I should introduce mine to you." Christian replied happily. He then said sending out Goji and Dart, "This little boy here is my newly caught Croagunk, Dart," Christian said, Croagunk greeted Muffin and Sylvie the same way Christian greeted Sylvie.

"and this little Totodile right here is my starter, Goji." Christian then said. Goji went over to greet the two...until She started to glow brighter and brighter until they can't see Goji. "Um, Goji, what's happening to you?" He questioned Goji, he then figured out what's happening, "......Oh boy...OH BOY, IT'S FINALLY HERE!! YOUR EVOLVING!" Christian started to shout.

Goji started to change its size and form, and then the bright glow started to fade, revealing a new Pokémon. "Goji...YOU EVOLVED INTO...A CROCONAW! I am so proud of you, my little Goji!" Christian said giving her a hug. After the evolution, Christian then resumed the talking.

"By the way, I was looking through my Town Map of Kalos, and I saw that there is going to be a Pokémon showcase being held in Camphrier Town. Are you going to it? Because you look like you are going to be attending it." Christian then said to Sylvie.

Euclides took his things off the hotel, walking towards Ecruteak once again, he went past the park, which was empty this time. As he arrived Ecruteak, he went running to Mark, showing him his newest badge, Mark said

Mark : Wow! Already?! You're quite talented... Huh... I think Johto isn't the best region for you, it's quite easy compared to Kalos... I heard that there is a ferry which is going to Kalos in the next 4 days... You could try to get the ticket to enter it. Wouldn't it be great?!

"Yeah, for sure, Mark! But where do I get that ticket? Like... Could I buy it at the port?"

Mark : Huuh, yes, but it's only for tourists that are going there to visit the place, and I think you won't go there as a tourist, right?

"Well, no... But if I can't get the ticket at the port, where should I get it?!"

Mark : My brother went to that region so he could explore things... But he bought a ticket for me, but I got a job and I couldn't follow him, that's why I'm giving you this!

Mark handed the ticket to Euclides, as he touched it, his expression changed completely, as he looked at Mark with a happy face, saying

"THANK YOU!!!! I DON'T KNOW HOW TO REWARD YOU.. UHHH... WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET A POKÉMON???"

Mark : Naaah, I'm good, bro, just have fun!

Suddenly, Mark's expression changed, as he said

Mark : But there is something that I need to tell you... They only accept trainers that got more than 3 badges.... And you got only 3 badges! I think you should challenge Morty and see if you get the badge so you can travel to Kalos..

"WOW! BEAT MORTY?! IT'S GOING TO BE IMPOSSIBLE! I'M SURE OF IT!"

Mark : Don't say that! I'm sure you will beat him easily, I trust you!

"Haha, thank you, Mark! But I'm still afraid of Morty..."

Mark : Drink this tea I made early.

He gave a strange blue tea to Euclides, Euclides sipped a bit of it, falling down on the ground, sleeping.

Mark : Now it's just bring him to the GYM and he might challenge him...

~Some hours later~

"Uhhh.. Ghh... What happened? Why is it so dark in there?"

Euclides looked around, the darkness was so intense that he couldn't even see his own nose... But suddenly, a torch was activated, as some few other torches lightened up the area. There was a strange person in the middle of all the torches, as he turned to Euclides, he couldn't think of other person but Morty!

Morty : Soo.. Hey, you friend told me to battle you, he told me that you're tough and could easily beat me... I doubt it's true... But let's try?

"WHAT? NO! I CAN'T BATTLE YOU RIGHT NOW, I'M WEAK!"

Morty : There is no coming back after you get there, unless you get beaten or beat me!

Morty would lie to Euclides so he could take the challenge. Euclides got flooded by fear, as he got up, saying :

"O-o..k.. I think I will do this! GO, PIKACHU!"

Morty : Sure, so then, go! Gastly!

The Pikachu ran forwards, as Gastly's Pokéball hit the ground, it getting out, the Gastly sticked it's tongue out, mocking Pikachu, Pikachu got triggered, looking at Gastly with an angry face.

Morty : Gastly, use Shadow Ball!

The Gastly opened it's mouth, as a sphere formed infront of it, it looked creepy. The Gastly shooted the Shadow Ball at Pikachu, which was ordered to evade, he barely did it!

"PIKACHU, IT'S YOUR TIME! USE THUNDERBOLT!"

Pikachu's cheeks would send sparks out, as a surge of electricity would hit Gastly, making it skid back, as the Gastly stopped, Morty said

Morty : Now, Gastly! Use Shadow Ball once again!

The Gastly would do the same thing once again this time Pikachu got hit by it, falling to the ground, almost fainted. It slowly got up, facing the Gastly, as Euclides said

"PIKACHU, I TRUST YOU! END THIS WITH ELECTRO BALL!"

The Pikachu leaped up, as a sphere of electricity would be made on the tip of it's tail, as it spun in the air, sending it towards Gastly, which got hit, being sent down to the ground, a lot of dust would be splattered around the area, as it cleared, Gastly was laying down on the ground, fainted.

Morty : GH!? I can't believe this... That Pikachu somehow managed to beat my Gastly?! Ok... I think I will have to use Haunter!

Morty threw a Pokéball forwards, as the Haunter came out, Euclides got spooked just by seeing it, ordering Pikachu to go behind him, as he slipped a Pokéball from his bag, throwing it forwards, screaming:

"THEN, IF THAT'S YOUR NEXT POKÉMON! MINE SHOULD BE THIS ONE!!! GO, POTTER!"

The Croconaw landed, facing Haunter, as it smirked.

"POTTER, USE BITE! RIGHT NOW!"

It jumped towards Haunter, opening it's big jaws widely, then closing them, Haunter getting caught in it's jaws. But Morty was smart, and...

Morty : HAUNTER, USE DARK PULSE!

The Haunter sent a beam with it's mouth towards Croconaw's mouth, it was sent back, falling down to the ground after the impact, it slowly got up, panting a bit, then it slowly opened it's damaged mouth, ready to another order.

"Potter... Time for something we never tried! USE AQUA TAIL!"

The Croconaw ran towards Haunter, closing it's mouth, and spinning in the air, slamming it's tail against the Haunter's face, the Haunter would be sent back, as it started to laugh.

"GH?! IT'S NOT EVEN HARMED?! NO! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! CROCONAW, USE BITE AGAIN!"

The Croconaw opened it's damaged mouth, jumping towards Haunter, biting it with all it's strength, as it got caught in it's jaws, it started to shake it's head savagely, dealing a lot of damage to Haunter! The Haunter got back, as Morty said:

Morty : Haunter! Use Shadow Ball, and aim it right on the Croconaw's mouth!

The Shadow Ball was sent, as Euclides told Croconaw to evade it, but it got hit, falling to the ground, fainted. Euclides screamed, saying no. (It would be too long to place inside quotes XD) He pointed forwards, as his harmed Pikachu looked at the Haunter, it's eyes widening...

"PIKACHU, AVENGE YOUR FRIEND WITH THUNDERBOLT!"

The Pikachu sent a big electric surge at Haunter, as the Haunter got hit, it fell to the ground slowly, fainting.

"YES, WE DID IT PIKACHU! WE MADE IT FAINT!!!!"

Morty : HOW?! THAT'S.. JUST... IMPOSSIBLE! GHH!!! ANYWAYS, I WILL HAVE TO END THIS!

Everybody felt a sudden chill... Including Morty... As a strange Pokémon landed, it had a sinister grin and big red eyes...

Morty : Gengar... You should defeat this Pikachu, right now! Use Shadow Ball!

"NO, PIKACHU, USE THUNDERBOLT FIRST!"

Winter let out an 'oof' as she fell. Getting up, she replied quietly, "Um..it's..fine." Meanwhile, Flare was chirping furiously. "Hush.." she whispered quickly to her Fletchling. She turned to run off. "Erm..bye..!" she called over her shoulder to the boy, quickly darting off.

She stopped in the middle of a street, people pushing past her. Winter hoped that she blended in with the crowd of people as she found a bench and sat down, Flare perching on the backboard of the bench. Letting out a sigh of relief, she pulled out her pokedex and started playing 'Who's that Pokemon?'.

The girl had bolted off pretty quick. That made two people that just ran away from him. Why? Was it something he said? Was there something wrong with him? Jason sighed. It kind of... hurt his feelings? He shook his head. He didn't have time to feel slighted. Jason picked himself up off of the ground, and with a nod to Quilava, began to continue to travel the street the girl had disappeared down. Maybe he'd bump into her again on his way to Camphrier Town.

With a sigh, he pulled his map out of his bag. Trusting Quilava to prevent him from smashing into anyone, Jason studied the map. He was sure that he was on the right path, but it was hard to tell with all the buildings and people blocking his view. The streets were so congested that he couldn't see the exit tunnel to Route 5 down at the end of the road.

Jason dug into his jacket and produced a Pokeball, he threw it up into the air, "Fletchinder, make sure we're headed out of the city!"

The Fire/Flying Type materialized with a colored burst, and with a nod of his beak, took to the air. He circled around Jason and Quilava from above, before letting out a loud chirp that Jason took as an 'affirmative.' Jason raised his hand into the air to return Fletchinder to his ball, but before the red light reached the Pokemon, it spotted something and took off at an amazing speed. Jason and Quilava followed.

Fletchinder soared over to a bench with a Fletchling perched on the backboard, and settled down next to it. The bigger bird chirped happily at the small one, as if in greeting.

Jason and Quilava came plowing through the crowd, and stopped in front of the bench, "Fletchinder, what are you-"

The girl from just a few moments ago was sitting on the bench, with her Fletchling behind her. Jason understood.

"Oh, uh, hey. Sorry, he just kind of took off," Jason nodded at his bird, "and uh, sorry for knocking you over earlier. I didn't accidentally hurt you, did I?"

As the question hung in the air, Quilava jumped up onto the bench and looked up at the girl, hoping she would pet him.

"Uh..no, I'm, um, fine," Winter replied, reaching to pet the Quilava. Flare chirped back a greeting to the Fletchinder. Winter was quiet for a moment and then added, "Um..sorry for running off earlier."

She shoved her pokedex back into her backpack. Flare was staring at the boy curiously. Winter sighed and bit her lip, unsure of what to say.

The lightning surge went towards Gengar, as it launched the Shadow Ball, it would hit the Thunderbolt, as an explosion occurred, leaving the two Pokémon a bit more harmed...

Morty : I won't let you win! GENGAR, USE SHADOW BALL!

"PIKACHU, COUNTER IT WITH IRON TAIL!"

The Shadow Ball was launched at Pikachu, as it hit the Shadow Ball with it's tail, shooting it back at Gengar, which got hit, falling to the ground... But it got up, sending a giant bolt at Pikachu, making it fall down... Both Pokémon were really harmed, Pikachu slowly got up, still trembling... But Gengar came towards it with all it's fury, as Morty shouted:

"GENGAR! END THIS WITH SUCKER PUNCH!!!"

The Gengar sent a punch towards Pikachu, but Euclides shouted:

"PIKACHU, USE VOLT TACKLE!!!!!!"

Both Pokémon collided, causing a giant explosion... as the smoke cleared, Gengar fainted... But Pikachu had also fainted, the battle ended up as a draw... Euclides retracted Pikachu, looking down... He turned back, walking towards the darkness, but Morty said:

Morty : Don't.... You will get lost in the darkness, also, I will give you the badge... You managed to defeat me, even though I had the number advantage... You deserve the badge...

Morty threw the badge at Euclides, as he slowly turned, catching it, his expression was still sad, but he suddenly opened up a smile, saying :

"If I had another Pokémon, I would easily beat you! Keep that in your mind!"

Morty : I know... Now... We will go back to the entrance...

Morty sent out an Abra (?), saying :

Morty : Abra! Use teleport!

Euclides would be teleported to the entrance, as he placed the Fog Badge inside it's socket, closing the badge case.

Quilava made a contented noise in his throat as the girl scratched his head. Fletchinder chirped enthusiastically, before jumping and fluttering to land on Jason's shoulder. He bore the weight easily, and gave the bigger bird a light rub on the crown of his head, before turning back to the girl.

"What? Oh, nah, it's all good. I did kind of ram straight into you, so why don't we call it even?" Jason let out a light laugh, "the name's Jason. Jason Braun. I came here from Johto to take on the Kalos League. What about you?"

Quilava, satisfied with his scratching, turned his head to the Fletchling and sniffed at it.

"My name is, um, Winter..Hennings. Winter Hennings," She replied quietly. Flare chirped at the Quilava playfully. "I wasn't really trying to, uh, accomplish anything, I was just interested in pokemon."

Winter took a small basket of macaroons out of her backpack and she handed one to Flare and Quilava.

"No, Muffin is just shy. She's sniffing you to see if she can trust you - oh wow!" She gasped, her telling Christian about Muffin just being shy interrupted by his Totodile evolving.

Sylvie gasped in amazement as the little Totodile evolved into an awesome Croconaw, Sylvie grinning and turning to Christian, smiling at him nervously. "Well done!" She congratulated him and Croconaw awkwardly, blushing slightly. She turned her head away, feeling embarrassed when Christian asked if she was participating in the Pokemon Showcase. She raised her eyebrows slightly with a quizzical look when Christian said 'Because you look like you are going to be attending it.'. What was that supposed to mean?

"What's that supposed to mean, 'because you look like you are going to be attending it'?" She demanded slightly, staring at Christian suspiciously. She was puzzled about what he meant by this.

Meanwhile, Muffin hissed at Christian quietly, pulling a grumpy pouty face at him as she sat practically on top of Sylvie's shoe, glaring at Christian endlessly, not trusting him. She gave up in a few seconds though and began to lick her paws, cleaning herself like a cat as she rubbed her licked paws over her face, doing an impression of a grumpy cat. Sylvie didn't notice though, still staring down Christian.

Quilava took one of the macaroons with a twinkle in his eye. Munching down on it happily, he made his way to Winter's leg and tried to snuggle it.

"Hey, that's as good a reason as any other out there," Jason said taking a seat down on the bench, doing his best not to disturb Fletchinder while doing so, "but I'm sure you'll find something that interests you on the way. You could try out the Gyms, or if that doesn't suit you, there are those Pokemon Showcase things you guys do here."

Jason took out his canteen and took a small swig of water from it, before capping it, "man, this city is huge. The closest thing we have to a 'Lumiose' back home would be Goldenrod City, and it isn't nearly as pretty as this city."

Jason paused for a moment before adding, "actually, nothing in Johto is as pretty as anything in Kalos. We might as well be a backwater compared to you cultured folks."

He laughed at his own joke, hoping it would ease the girl next to him.

Euclides walked out the GYM with a grin on his face, he walked towards the PokéMart slowly, talking to Mark.

"Mark.. Guess what?"

Mark : You lost?

"NO! I WON!"

Mark : I TOLD OU YOU COULD DO IT!

"YEEEEYYY!!!! KALOS, HERE I COME!!!!"

Mark : I will miss you...

Mark looked down, tilting his mouth to the left

"Don't worry, I got a PokéGear, and I know you got one aswell, we will just talk to eachother using it!"

Mark : You're right... Ok, what is your number?

"4002-8922"

Mark : Ok, you're added!

"Great! Now, goodbye! See you later!!!"

Mark : Goodbye...

Euclides walked out the PokéMart, heading to the Pokémon center, handing his PokéBalls to Nurse Joy..

Nurse Joy : Done! They're all healed now! I hope you become the champion!

"Ok, Hahahaha!!!"

He walked out, heading to the port in Goldenrod... He had to wait several minutes to enter the ship, but when he finally entered, he took the last seat, slipping his PokéDex out of his pocket, playing 'Who is that Pokémon?'.

After some days, they landed on Kalos, right in Courmaline City! He hoped there was someone to talk to... But there was no one!
Then he went to the GYM, but it was closed, and there was a sign saying : The leader is out! The garden is completely messed up!

"Awwww, I guess I will have to head to Lumiose city... From what Mark had told me, it's just head to the right..."

And that's what he did! He went to Lumiose city and got there in 2 days! He looked around the BIG city, walking around, as he saw a bench with two people that looked like trainers! He went towards them, as his Croconaw hoped on his shoulder, causing him to fall instantly, making everything look a bit embarrassing.

"Heh. I've never been to Johto, but it sounds nice." Winter fell silent for a brief moment and then said, "I think I'm gonna try the Gyms."

Flare happily pecked at the macaroon, chirping out of satisfaction.

Winter sighed, watching the busy streets and the crowds of people scattered around. "I've never seen Lumiose this busy," she commented.

Euclides got up, slapping his sweatshirt so the dust could go away, sitting beside Jason.

"Hello! How is it going?"

He said to Jason.

Jason was suddenly cut off as another person sat down beside him. Out of sheer surprise, the Fire Type trainer jumped and slid closer to Winter, bumping his thigh into Quilava. The poor fire type had to leap onto Winter's lap to avoid being squashed. Fletchinder, in the meantime, had to jump back onto the backboard of the bench, next to its prior evolution.

"Woah, where did you come from man? Scared the crap out- Is that a Croconaw? Are you from Johto?"

Jason, the trainer who wore a red leather jacket in an attempt to look cool, could barely keep himself from jumping off of the bench in excitement.

"Yes, you're right! I'm from Johto! And, as I can see, you have a Quilava! Then, let me guess.. You're from Johto aswell?!"

His Croconaw laughed, Euclides doing the same. As he gave one of the doughnuts, it eating the doughnut really quickly. He then looked at Jason, saying

"Sooo... Your name is? Also, how many badges did you get in Johto?

Jason opened his mouth to speak, only for a doughnut to land square beneath his teeth. His surprised shout was muffled by the glazed treat, and he took a bite out of it before removing it from his mouth. Chewing it, Jason decided being ambushed by food wasn't so bad. The bakery good at least tasted pretty great.

He turned to Winter, "is, uh, is this normal?" Jason gestured to the man throwing out the doughnuts, before laying back against the backboard of the bench they were all sitting on.

"Uh, to answer your question man, yeah, I'm from Johto. Blackthorn CIty specifically, home to the rudest and toughest Gym Leader in all of Johto," Jason spoke with a mixture of humor and disdain, before he looked back at Euclides, "name's Jason, she's," Jason pointed at the girl next to him, "Winter. What's your name?"

Jerral blinked and remembered he left his Pokémon at the Center. He quickly rushed there and got his Pokéballs back. Jerral thanked Nurse. Joy and left the center back into the café and ate a snack. Then he began training and got more Pokémon. He ended up catching a Magikarp with an old rod and it learned tackle. Then he continued on his journey, this time to Courmarine City. (or however you spell that) On his way, he found Sylvie and Christian. "Oh, you're the girl from before. Umm I never got to introduce myself. I'm Jerral, and these are my Pokémon," he said. He pointed towards a Ralts and a Grovyle. "The Grovyle just finished evolving, his name is Shinrino. And the Ralts is Psyzo," he told her.

 

[Sukoku]

"My name is Euclides, from Ecruteak City! Home of the most creepy trainer that I have ever met... His name is Morty, I don't like him that much, and he is too strong, but I still managed to beat him!"

His Croconaw would pick up more doughnuts, eating them, as Euclides patted his head, grinning, then looking at Jason. His Croconaw didn't stop eating the Doughnuts.

"Also, I came to Kalos because a friend of mine told me that this region is an actual challenge, not just a mess like Johto... The friend I'm talking about works in a PokéMart, he could send you some medicines by the mail.."

"Yep. It is completely normal.." She replied to Jason. Winter nodded, watching Flare fly around above the bench, chirping happily.

Winter grabbed a small bottle of water beside her backpack and popped the cap off, taking a few sips out of it. She put the cap back on and set the water bottle back back beside her backpack. She turned back to the others.

"Johto is easy? You know people tend to jump over to Kanto to get their eighth badge for a reason right? It's because the Indigo Plateau will accept eight badges from either Kanto or Johto, and almost no one can beat Claire!" Jason found himself rather indignant, and was shocked to find himself defending Claire, one of the Dragon Tamers. Those guys hated him, so why was he defending their pride and joy? Just because he was from Blackthorn himself? Or was it because he mother had been part of the Dragon Tamer Clan? Questions for later.

"Anyways, I don't know about you guys, but I'm headed for Camphrier Town for the night. Why don't we all go together? There's supposed to be a Showcase tomorrow, and I've never seen one before."

Quilava hopped back into Jason's lap as he asked the other two trainers the question. With Halt having disappeared on him, Jason thought it'd be nice to have some company on his journey through Kalos, even if just for one small trip between towns. Euclides was a fellow Johto-er, which meant they could probably bond over some shared experiences. And Winter? Well, she seemed kind of shy, and Jason was worried about her traveling the roads on her own.

It definitely had nothing to do with her pretty face. Nope, not at all. Well, maybe it influenced his thoughts a little.
