Private/Closed A Pokemon RP: The Conversion Crisis

“My name is Rory Sanders. But you still haven’t answered my question, are you okay?”

He had sat down cross legged, and he was closer to Allie’s eye level. Rocky crawled onto his lap, and Rory pet him near the ears.

***************

Perigrine also began to come out. He had, surprisingly, been able to stay in one place the entire time. It seemed he was getting used to this, at least a bit more.

"It depends. Physically, I am.. alright. Mentally... not so much. But do you really expect any more from someone who was just attacked by three Pokemon at once?" She smiled weakly, trying to lighten the mood ever so slightly.
"I believe you should know my secret. I'm not truly a Kirlia. My real name is Allison Gracie-Minerva Silverstone, and I am - was - a teenage girl. I was unwillingly transformed into a Pokemon not long ago. I was then attacked by a group of people wearing black and red, but I somehow managed to use a move and scare them away."

What? You don’t look like a teenage girl... I find that kind of hard to believe. Unless you are a Ditto. Nope, that doesn’t work, you have normal eyes. Um... is there any way I can help?”

Rory looked concerned, and slightly puzzled. He brushed away Rocky’s tail, which was wagging in his face.

“Sit, boy. Stop that.”

The Rockruff obediently stilled. He turned confidingly to the Kirlia.

When he says stop that, it means behave or you go in the Pokéball...”

Allie sighed. "I don't expect anyone to believe me. That's the hard part of this predicament. Maybe this will give some form of proof..."
She motioned Eclipse over. The Absol walked over obediently.
"Use Night Slash on the ground," Allie said telepathically so that Rory could hear.
Obediently, Eclipse turned and fired a Night Slash at the ground a few feet away.
"I do not have my Pokeballs - they're lost in this clearing somewhere - but that is my Absol, Eclipse. The Eevee is mine as well, her name is Eve."
Both Eclipse and Eve nodded affirmatively. "Yes, that is true," Eclipse sighed.
She lowered her head. "I don't think there's anything you can do to help. I don't even know what's going on, or how I'm a freaking Kirlia, or how I'm even using telepathy right now..."

Hrm. I wish there was something I could do...”

Rory seemed to be thinking hard. He stroked Rocky, and the Wolf Pokémon yipped happily. After a moment, Rory began digging into his bag again and pulled out a water bottle. He drank from it, wiped his mouth on his sleeve, and put it back down.

“So, you were a teenage girl, alone in the forest except for your Eevee and Absol, and then you turned into a Pokémon? How did this happen, exactly?”

Allie shrugged to the best of her ability. "Your guess is as good as mine. One minute, everything was mostly normal. The next, I felt this weird tingling sensation that turned to pain, I heard this loud ringing noise in my ears, and I passed out. When I woke up, I was a Kirlia."
She paused, not sure if she should explain about the rest of the human-Pokemon. "There were likely more. I'm not completely sure," she lied.

Hm...”

Rory continued to stroke Rocky as he thought. At first he did not see the approaching Sylveon. He, surprisingly, had noticed any of the other Pokémon besides Allie, her two Pokémon and the Sylveon. Rock smelled some of them, but didn’t know they weren’t the smells of Pokémon naturally found there.

When Rory did notice the Sylveon, he smiled and waved.

“Hello, there. Where’s your trainer?”

Rory had never heard of a Sylveon without a trainer, since the Fairy type Eeveelution could only evolve with a very strong bond with a human.

“What? No trainer? But that’s impossible! Unless an Eevee bonded to a wild Pokémon and they became good friends... I suppose that is possible... can you please ask it- sorry, you said him- if it was bonded to wild Pokémon? I could ask myself, but you might be able to explain it better...”

He reached his hand towards the Sylveon, not actually touching, but more like the thing where you offer your hand for the creature to sniff. Rocky looked curiously at the Sylveon. His tongue snapped into his mouth for a moment, then he began panting again.

As the ribbon wrapped around his arm, the main and most noticeable feelings were curiously and interest. Perfectly natural. There were also undertones of wariness, but those could also be explained away easily.

“Hey, buddy? You okay?”

Rory reached out the non-entwined hand to pet the Sylveon on the head. Rocky stood up and walked over to the Sylveon, and sniffed.

Hi! I’m Rocky! What are you all talking about? You aren’t humans, I can see that.

Rocky yipped.

Okay!

He gave a puppy grin and plopped down on his butt. His tail wagged.

I love story time!

Luckily for Allie, Rory still had not realized that this might be one of the Converted.

Oh... I just realized... he said he doesn’t have a trainer... so maybe his trainer died...”

He began emmiting a feeling of compassion, which was able to be picked up by the feeler.

"He doesn't know that you're human." She said this very quietly, so that only Eli could hear. She turned back to Rocky.
"The Sylveon is right. Unfortunately, we do not have the time right now to explain what's going on. It's very complicated."
Telepathically, she spoke to Rory."I'd best be going. I need to get to the bottom of this situation. It was nice meeting you." She turned to leave, motioning for Eve and Eclipse to follow.

Allie paused. She hadn't thought about that. She opened up the mental link to Eclipse, who put in her two cents.
"I will protect her. My name is Eclipse, and I am Allie's Absol. I will place my life on the line, if need be. She is also very capable of defending herself. She's no damsel in distress."
Allie looked down. "That is true. It seems that I can use moves. And I think I scared them off. I don't know what move I used -"
"Psyshock," Eclipse filled in.
"Yeah. Psyshock. But it seemed to scare them away. If I move quickly they won't be able to find me anyhow."

Eclipse hesitated. "Anywhere. It would take some time, but the Pokemon Village would be a good option. Few trainers know about it. Until this is solved, we can hide there. Or we could simply go to Lumiose City. It's easy to blend in there. We just need to be far from here. I'm not worried about anyone catching her either, her species is not exactly easy to capture."
"That is true..."
Allie mulled.

Allie pondered this for a moment. She still wasn't completely trustful - it was hard to be trustful after you'd just almost been kidnapped - but she didn't have much to lose. She was sure she could take one trainer in a fight anyway, alongside Eve and Eclipse.
She gave a nod. "That would be good. Do you have any suggestions on where we should go?"

Both the places you mentioned before sounded excellent... I haven’t heard of the Pokémon Village before, but it sounds like a good place. Oh, and if you ever need help you can contact me at my house, or at my work in Lumiose. It’s the tall building in the northwest quadrant with the blue glass.”

Rory was smart enough to realize he couldn’t go with them. And a tracking device would be noticed. However, he smiled and looked the same as he had for the entire time they had talked.

I am glad to have met you, this was an interesting experience. I hope to see you sometime. Oh, and if you have any trouble before leaving the forest, just shout. Or mentally shout... and I’ll try to help, okay?”

Allie simply nodded. "I understand. It is likely best that you leave anyway, if those people come back for us you could be seriously hurt. We don't know who they are or what they're willing to do..."
She turned to the rest of the Pokemon. "We're leaving. Lumiose City. Everyone get ready. It'll be a good place for us to hide, because we don't stand out in a crowd."

I suppose I will take my leave then. I will still be strolling around the forest, so call if you think you need help.”

Rory gave a broad smile as he turned. Rocky leapt to his feet, excited to continue the walk.

Bye guys! Maybe I’ll see you around Lumiose sometime!

The puppy-like Pokémon walked behind Rory, his tail wagging as they entered the forest again.

(holy crap sorry I stopped getting notifs for this rp for some reason oof)
Duncan watched wordlessly as the trainer left. He and Bones had been hiding in a bush, completely unnoticed through the whole situation. In fact it was such a good hiding spot it was almost as if he hadn't even been there for a while, and he just now realized where he was. He leisurely strolled out from his hiding spot, his arms folded casually. "So... that happened..." He mentioned vaguely. At Allie's statement, he nodded lightly, shrugging. "Yeah, sure, whatever you guys wanna do." Bones was at his side, silently trying to wrap his mind around the craziness the day had thrown them all into.

(It's totally fine. My notifs have been acting up too.)
Allie nodded, a distant look on her face. She was still confused, this was strange to her.
"Maybe... we should find somewhere secluded to train. I guess we can use moves now... and we need to be able to defend ourselves in case those people come back for us..."
As she said this, she extended her palms. She wanted to see if she could replicate what she did before.
To her amazement, a pink wind blew from her hands, blowing Eve backwards. Eve began turning red as steam started coming out of her ears.
"Hey, what was that for?!" Eve protested.
Allie blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry... guess I need some training..." She chuckled nervously.

Allie was about to say something, but looked down.
"I - I don't know..." Her voice trailed off, as her confidence wavered slightly.
She turned to Perigrine, quickly changing the subject.
"Oh y-yeah, forgot you couldn't hear that. He just wanted to help out. I - I don't trust him completely... being attacked does that to you." She chuckled nervously again, shifting on her feet.
Eclipse stepped forward. "I said nothing at the time, but there was still danger in the air. I could not sense where it was coming from. It's less now.. but there's still a faint trace." Her horn glowed faintly as she spoke.

Chris was heading out on his own, looking to fight any particular trainer. His pokèmon were already fully evolved and he was satified with with their sparring capabilities. The perfect place to find Trainers was Santalune Forest, a place that was garunteed to be thriving with wild pokèmon and experienced Trainers.
In a way, the Forest always seemed to calm his fiery spirit and was also a memorial to his Father who died saving his Pyroar (a litleo at the time) from drowning but failing to save himself. They used to come to the Santalune Forest all the time to train each others' pokèmon.

He was the reason his fire types were so powerful. Chris wanted to be just like that; selfless in everything he did. Sometimes, he could be, but his fear leaves him helpless at other times and his anger issues tend to get the best of him as well.

Currently, he was walking on a route that he and his Father had used frequently to get there. Chris's Pyroar was walking on his left with a solemn look on her face, as if she could sense his dissapointment. The young trainer fixed his dutch-colored eyes upon her, then flicked his gaze over his other pokèmon. Chris's Blaziken was on his right, walking with his eyes closed and letting the gentle breeze ruffle his feathers, with his talons folded behind his head. His TalonFlame, on the other hand, was flying ahead; impatiently twitching his tail-feathers, obviously in a rush to fight.

After hesitating a moment, Chris began to nervously fumble with his leather bracelet, searching for a way to cease the silence. Soon, they made their way into the Forest after a couple minutes of walking. However, he began to feel as though something was off as soon as they entered but he soon shrugged the feeling away. 'I'm here for my pokèmon. I can't make them leave now that we're finally here..' , thought Chris reasonably.
Now, all that was left to do was to find a good place to train..

Harper leaned back in her chair, now in her rather imposing office. Her chair was slightly raised, so she could look down on the people who came to see her.
She pushed a button, enabling the intercom, and spoke into the microphone.
"This is Harper speaking. I want another conversion wave broadcast in the same location."
She sighed. She hadn't heard back from the group she'd sent out yet. Maybe there were more with the gene in Santalune Forest... and she wanted all she could get.

(Santalune Forest)
Allie suddenly sensed a presence nearby, and flinched. There was someone else near. She could hear a faint rustling in the distance, and it was coming closer.
"Guys! Someone else is coming... Eclipse, any changes in your danger sense?"
Eclipse concentrated momentarily, before shaking her head. "No. Whoever is nearby does not have malicious intent."
Eve had an idea. "Allie, you're a Psychic type. You could try sensing who they are..."
Allie blinked. "Uh... okay. Here goes nothing then..."
She closed her eyes, summoning the same power she had before to use telepathy. She extended it in the direction of the rustling, and her eyes flashed open as she sensed something.
"I sense.. a Trainer. I can't tell who. Three Pokemon with them... I think they're Fire types?"
Eve let out a small huff. "Really helpful. A trainer with fire types. That information totally helps us," she said sarcastically.
Eclipse turned to Eve. She remained silent, but gave the Evolution Pokemon a death glare that would make Giratina waver.
Eve backed off. "I'm sorry, okay?"

Once Rory had made it a good ways away he pulled out his walkie talkie/intercom thing and spoke into it.

“Rory speaking. Mission is going well. My forces, hold back for now, give them some space. We’ll attack once they’ve had time to relax their guard. Same routine. Rory Out.”

Rocky sat by his feet, panting and looking up into a tree where there was a Dedenne, safely out of reach of the puppy and taunting him. Rocky growled and prepared to attack, but Rory bent down and stopped him.

“Hey, buddy. Leave the mouse alone. I have no doubt you could beat it, but we still have more to do before we leave the forest and we don’t need you getting hurt, do we?”

Rocky wagged his tail violently at the attention, now ignoring the Dedenne for his trainer’s sake. He licked at Rory’s face and nuzzled at him, which kind of hurt because of the rocks on the puppy’s neck. The trainer pet his Pokémon, and prepared to wait. He actually considered catching the Dedenne, so he dug through his bag to see if he had any extra Pokéballs. He didn’t know if he had any, since they weren’t supposed to have any on this mission due to the command to not capture the Converted in Pokéballs.

***************

Perigrine was about to suggest that they could probably train in the clearing they were in, when Allie said there was someone coming. Not at all confident he would be able to win a fight, he attempted to hover to the tree he had hidden behind when Rory was there, but instead went a bit to the side, to a different tree. He couldn’t maneuver behind it, however, so he floated back towards Allie and her Pokémon. Safety in numbers, as they say.

You said there was a trainer coming? With FIRE types? Oh no... I’m a Steel type now... I don’t like this.”

There was a metallic ring to his voice now that he was a Magnemite. The magnets that made his... arms? started to spin slightly.

"F-fire types?!" Gracia squeaked, "Around here?! I-I think I-I'm going to faint. Why is all of this happening?!" The Sewaddle started to cry in her terror. She could not understand why all of this was happening, and why the others found the Fire-type trainer not that big of a deal, other than the Magamite of course. She shook as tears rolled down her yellow face. Her Pokemon went over to stand next to her and try to comfort her, to no avail. She and her Pokemon hated and feared Fire-types due to the weakness that they held to the blazing Pokemon. It didn't help that she was now twice as weak to them. The Magamite was only weak once, hers was far worse. Her sobbing grew louder as she thought this.

Harper closed her eyes, a small smile forming on her face. She knew that Rory had it in him.
"Harper speaking. Take your time, manipulation is better than force here. Prioritize those that show potential." She left the channel, placing her walkie-talkie back on her desk.

Allie held up her hands. "Everyone, remain calm. They don't seem hostile. I don't think they'd hurt us... if they're a Fire-type trainer, they'd have no reason to battle and catch us like wild Pokemon."
Eclipse noticed the sobbing Gracia (Allie noticed it, but was too scared of making the situation worse) and walked over. She sat down next to the small Pokemon.
"Listen. I know this seems bad right now. But mark my words. If anyone, and I mean anyone, tries to hurt you... or anyone else here... then I will protect you with my life. You will not be harmed."
Eve was about to make a snarky remark, but stopped. Even she knew her limits.
