Revan, the Prodigal Knight
The force lightning slowed down the initial blast, but Revan was aware of a kaiber crystal's augmenting power. Against most any other force user, Lucario would have scored a significant blow. This power was untamed, after all--but Revan was one of the most powerful. It was often said that he was a physical embodiment of the force. He'd scared Jedi masters as a mere child with his displays of raw power.
Raw power that could match this attack of untamed potential.
Revan felt his hand grow hot as he brought his saber back, the violet light disappearing as it retracted, and the world distorted with an influx of unstable gravity from the gray Jedi's palm. The blast collided, and Revan slid back along the ground, gritting his teeth behind his mask, but the blast was held off, just inches from his fingertips, his skin blistering over. He had taken that amazing blast from Daruk before, and this was really quite similar.
"You mistake the power of the crystal," Revan hissed out, pulling his arm back and preventing the last bit of the beam from reaching its mark, instead trapping it into a ball of shuddering energy. "You mistake the living force. It is greater than your aura. It is something I control, more than any other. It was your mistake trying to turn it against me."
He released the small orb he'd collected, using the force to follow Lucario's position (should the Pokemon break free of the concrete confines). He could feel a shudder in his arm, a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead. This was getting quickly personal, and Hareta had more of these creatures to aid him. Perhaps it was nearly time for Revan to start pulling out some of his stops...
Revan, the Butcher
Cyrus faded, and before the world could fully return to Hareta, the second Revan appeared once again before him, replacing Cyrus' place.
"I do not enjoy this," he stated coldly. "I would rather not have to fight you. The prospect of killing you..." his voice trailed off, before he took a step forward. "There is one far more powerful than even I, and he has taken my life and my world from me. This is why I fight. I will bring his reign to an end, and combat any evil like him... unfortunately, you stand in my way."
The Revan faded, revealing itself to have been the fake all along as the true Revan was forced to focus fully on defending against the blast from the Lucario, ending any mental tampering on Hareta for the time being.
Kassandra, the Eagle Bearing Misthios
Her blade passed through empty air- damnit! He'd escaped close-range again! Kassandra glanced about, before a shadow fell atop her, and she looked up to find Rebellio standing atop some kind of massive blade, which was accelerating her way. The mercenary dropped back quickly, tucking herself into a backward somersault as the blade crashed into the ground she'd been seconds before.
"Malakas, are you trying to kill me!?"
Oh. Right.
"Don't answer that," Kassandra added, tossing her ruined shield at Rebellio while she tucked away her sword, instead she conjured the Bow of Artemis, and tested her earlier assumption by launching an arrow at her opponent.
Leon S. Kennedy
Well, this wasn't New York City. Leon frowned as he glanced about, staring at surrounding forestry. Liberty Island appeared as though it had been stripped out of New York, and plopped into some random lake in the middle of nowhere. Was probably his opponent. If he had to guess, it was probably something familiar to it. Seemed like a wild animal, anyway.
Tugging out Matilda, Leon let out a brief sigh. He really wasn't built for tournaments...
