Revan, the Prodigal Knight

The force lightning slowed down the initial blast, but Revan was aware of a kaiber crystal's augmenting power. Against most any other force user, Lucario would have scored a significant blow. This power was untamed, after all--but Revan was one of the most powerful. It was often said that he was a physical embodiment of the force. He'd scared Jedi masters as a mere child with his displays of raw power.

Raw power that could match this attack of untamed potential.

Revan felt his hand grow hot as he brought his saber back, the violet light disappearing as it retracted, and the world distorted with an influx of unstable gravity from the gray Jedi's palm. The blast collided, and Revan slid back along the ground, gritting his teeth behind his mask, but the blast was held off, just inches from his fingertips, his skin blistering over. He had taken that amazing blast from Daruk before, and this was really quite similar.

"You mistake the power of the crystal," Revan hissed out, pulling his arm back and preventing the last bit of the beam from reaching its mark, instead trapping it into a ball of shuddering energy. "You mistake the living force. It is greater than your aura. It is something I control, more than any other. It was your mistake trying to turn it against me."

He released the small orb he'd collected, using the force to follow Lucario's position (should the Pokemon break free of the concrete confines). He could feel a shudder in his arm, a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead. This was getting quickly personal, and Hareta had more of these creatures to aid him. Perhaps it was nearly time for Revan to start pulling out some of his stops...

Revan, the Butcher

Cyrus faded, and before the world could fully return to Hareta, the second Revan appeared once again before him, replacing Cyrus' place.

"I do not enjoy this," he stated coldly. "I would rather not have to fight you. The prospect of killing you..." his voice trailed off, before he took a step forward. "There is one far more powerful than even I, and he has taken my life and my world from me. This is why I fight. I will bring his reign to an end, and combat any evil like him... unfortunately, you stand in my way."

The Revan faded, revealing itself to have been the fake all along as the true Revan was forced to focus fully on defending against the blast from the Lucario, ending any mental tampering on Hareta for the time being.

Kassandra, the Eagle Bearing Misthios

Her blade passed through empty air- damnit! He'd escaped close-range again! Kassandra glanced about, before a shadow fell atop her, and she looked up to find Rebellio standing atop some kind of massive blade, which was accelerating her way. The mercenary dropped back quickly, tucking herself into a backward somersault as the blade crashed into the ground she'd been seconds before.

"Malakas, are you trying to kill me!?"

Oh. Right.

"Don't answer that," Kassandra added, tossing her ruined shield at Rebellio while she tucked away her sword, instead she conjured the Bow of Artemis, and tested her earlier assumption by launching an arrow at her opponent.

Leon S. Kennedy

Well, this wasn't New York City. Leon frowned as he glanced about, staring at surrounding forestry. Liberty Island appeared as though it had been stripped out of New York, and plopped into some random lake in the middle of nowhere. Was probably his opponent. If he had to guess, it was probably something familiar to it. Seemed like a wild animal, anyway.

Tugging out Matilda, Leon let out a brief sigh. He really wasn't built for tournaments...

Weavile
Well, this wasn't Acuity Cave. Weavile's eyes slit, looking around the rather modern looking area. Still, it had enough was a resemblance. Weavile couldn't see any bibarel swimming, unfortunately. Guess this Leon fellow would have to do.
Speaking of which, Weavile caught sight of the man, looking quite disgruntled. Was he already forfeiting? Weavile smirked.
Deciding to have some fun first, Weavile immediately scooped up a snowball from the snow covered floor, flinging it towards Leon's head and adding a good dose of dark energy in the process.

Agent Leon S. Kennedy

He eyed the "Weavile" creature. Back in Raccoon City, he'd been able to track down some information to find Psyduck's weakness. Here? He... wasn't really certain how he could manage. He never played Pokemon, he'd always been too busy with sports, or training, or studying... or girls. It was a dark-colored Pokemon, and currently throwing a snowball at him. So... what, was there a snow type or something? Night type? He didn't know the names.

Fire would probably go a long way, then. Unfortunately, he didn't have immediate access to anything substantial.

Dodging the snowball like one would dodge a baseball thrown at them, Leon frowned at the Weavile as the snowball, emitting some kind of black aura, flew by his head. Leon responded by raising matilda and firing a few times in response. Okay, so maybe bringing a gun to a snowball fight was a little overkill.

Hareta

"This is why I fight. I will bring his reign to an end, and combat any evil like him..."

Following these words was shocking display of power, Lucario was covered with a focused energy blast, and due to being tied to the ground, stood unshielded from the full brunt of the attack. Lucario yelled as his body was tossed out of the energy storm, fried. It tumbled harshly to the ground, sliding near Hareta, fainted. Smoke emitted up from Lucario's body as Hareta stood in shock.

"...unfortunately, you stand in my way."

This guy meant business, and had the power to back that moxie up. Hareta clenched his fists, as without a pokeball, the host's rules applied to those that have been defeated, and Lucario vanished from the field in a veil of transparent light.

"Your wrong..." Hareta stood defiantly. "It doesn't have to be that way! We could get out of here after this is all over and be free to do whatever we want! If you don't enjoy this, then stop! We shouldn't battle because we need to kill the other, but in the spirit of competition! It's alright if you don't understand now, I get it, so that's why I'm going to show you..."

Grabbing a pokeball, he sent it out correctly this time, a blue and black Pokémon emerging to Hareta's side. It was his first and most trusted friend: Empoleon. The water type stomped on the ground in front of itself territorially.

"...What a true battle is!"

As he said this, Empoleon raised it's steel flipper's into the air, a two jetstreams of water appearing around Revan. The streams swirled and swirled together, then they would suddenly become a huge Whirlpool, trying to swamp Revan into their current while he was recovering from that last attack.

Weavile just barely leaned enough to avoid the first shot, eyes widening as something pierced a snow mound behind her.
Okay, no. Not dealing with this. Nope Nope noppity nope nope.
Immediately going on the evasive, Weavile crouched and dived, vanishing under the blanket of snow. She flinched with each shot, but managed to hide behind a tree. She carefully looked past it and saw Leon again. Hmph, humans had such strange tools.
Well, she'd find a way past it. The dark-ice type skillfully climbed the tree, using her newfound height advantage to send a rain of icicles above Leon

Revan, the Prodigal Knight

One down. Hareta seemed to grow upset, but continued to preach his altruism. How innocent. How... naive.

Revan had peered into the boy's mind when using the Jedi mind trick. It was how he knew of his allies, his foes, and his hardships. Despite the struggles Hareta had faced, he had never once known true pain. True loss. When his Pokemon failed, they would come back later. Even faced with being murdered, he was too naive to comprehend the realism of life.

"A true battle?" Revan asked, twitching his hand. He was using the force to try and make one of Hareta's pokeballs to suddenly snap away and fly into the force user's hand as the Empoleon's water began to spin around him. "You've never even experienced war."

The whirlpool forming around him could be combated as Revan recovered himself, a faint blue aura pushing through him to accelerate the process as he formed a small bubble around his form, planting himself to the ground.

Agent Leon S. Kennedy

With a few more shots emptying the first clip in matilda, Leon expertly shot a few of the shards headed his way, and caught another in his hand as the remainder of the attack landed around him. Tossing aside the icicle, Leon slid the empty clip out, and slapped in a new one. He glanced toward the base of Lady Liberty, noting the entrance into her nearby. He fired a couple stray shots toward Weavile's direction before he began to march toward the door into the general admissions area, desiring a little closer quarters if his opponent was so interested in putting some ground between them.

Death
Yet more fighting to do. Really, Death had no complaints to this, but tournaments weren't so much his style. Now, what would help if he was able to pick his own fights. Then again, that would had given an unfair advantage and the reaper's honour would be in shambles. Giving a tighter grip to his scythe, the massive, cloaked skeleton flew through the gateway and reached the fighting stage, thinking a few moments for his arena selection while his opponent was still in the lobby.

He had already fought in his clock tower.. had already been made a fool in his lord's own throne room.. and easily annihilated his previous opponent in the mines. Where else could he possibly fight.. Then, he had an idea. Quite a devilish one. Death held one finger up from his free hand, speaking out his request.

" The Abyss contained within the mine under my liege's great castle. "

Hareta

One of his pokeballs flew out from his bag, he wasn't quite sure which one. But the fact Revan had found the ball in his grip was reason for concern enough. He'd get it back! As the whirl pool of water launched more and more water high up into the air with open streams, he saw Revan with his bubble deep inside. He used that last move to block such a powerful one of Lucario's. But now with this bubble in place he couldn't restore much stamina back, as he had to keep using it. Means it was now or never.

"Dunno about war, but have you experience THAT?"

Hareta pointed up cheekily. Above Revan was a massive shadow of the sprayed water that remained from all the airborne droplets from whirlpool. With that attack still in place, Revan couldn't remove his shield unless he took damage!

"Now Empoleon! Super aerial BRINE!"

Empoleom stomped it's feet as it cast the brine below, much much stronger due to the power enhanced by whirlpool. It came crashing down toward Revan with the hopes of breaking his bubble and pelting the force user with a down power of heavily pressurized water!

psyduck
The adversary approached, and The Duck's expression remained undeterred with as much faux confidence as he could muster. Machamp was threatening, but Psyduck was starting to fool himself into thinking he could take him. This would be a powerful double-edged sword, but he couldn't let the meathead know that he knew that he was superior. The fowl flexed with a growl, momentarily letting his delusions get ahead of him, and then waddled towards the gate.

Once enveloped by the bright light, the computer knew what Psyduck was about to chose before he even had time to remember that stage-picking was a thing; the stage he would've picked anyways, and the stage he always picked, was Route 3 of Unova, his home.

turner

The world shifted around him and his canine rival. Buildings rose, roads formed, and banners rolled down walls, the familiarity of the Cat City. However, Amaterasu selected a stage as well, and the Cat City itself began to change. Along the sides of the road, thin, sparse-looking trees reached towards the heavens, and a small stream ran through the city itself. Now, in the center of the town, a huge sakura tree took shape, as well as some small boulders that littered the wider area. Outside the city walls, and invisible to the two combatants as of this moment, was a sprawling plain that very closely resembled the original Shinshu Field, just slightly more... plain.

Back inside the city, there was a scenario as old as time, the staredown of wolf and rabbit.

Turner drew both of his blades simultaneously, then settled into a fighting stance. He wanted to see what this wolf could do.

Revan, the Prodigal Knight

The Pokéball landed in Revan's grasp. He pierced into the mind of the individual trapped within... very weak-willed. Young. Very young, but... useful, in its own way.

Revan doubted Hareta was accustomed to his own Pokémon being turned against him. The Minun within didn't even require much effort in mind tricking. Young and impressionable.

"Dunno about war, but have you experienced THAT?"

The Empoleon's next move was announced by Hareta's shout. Brine. They appeared condensed, water turned into more effective projectiles, and hailing from above. Cracking his neck, a burst of violet appeared, and Revan raised his blade one-armed, the arm that usually carried his crimson saber still recovering from the Max Aura.

Opening his force field enough to allow brine its way in while continuing to keep the rest of the water at bay, like an invisible cylinder, Revan's blade flashed, tearing away at the brine projectiles, though a fair few slugged against him, mostly pinging off his shoulder's armor, but one found the soft flesh of his left bicep. A stinging sensation, but Revan ignored it for now as he transformed his force barrier, turning it on its side to form a short tunnel out of the back, which he stepped freely from, collapsing the field behind him as he moved, minimizing the effort inputted.

Revan tapped into the mind of the Minun, before he activated the ball, and released the small creature inside. As the Minun appeared, Revan crushed the ball in his grip, letting broken pieces of plastic and metal cascade to the ground as his psychic link he'd opened to the Pokemon allowed him to control it without words.

Lucario hadn't left him laughably exhausted, his exertion having been more physical than through the force, stamina in either far different, but an influx of attacks could work their wear. Now, like how Lucario had taken the tainted kaiber crystal, Revan now had one of Hareta's tools.

Having tapped into the Minun's mind, it proceeded to use Helping Hand unprompted, its face appearing lax, eyes blank as it did so. It was utilizing this move on Revan, who felt his power temporarily increase, allowing him to raise his arm, notably shaking less, and lift the whirlpool through the force, before he amped it up with a brief burst of force lightning, and launched it in a wide spray toward his opponents.

Hareta

"Huh? Minun? What are you doing bud??" Hareta called out, bewildered. "Get out of there!"

They didn't answer him. That's when me noticed the glossed over nature of Minun's eyes. That's right...I was under a spell earlier due to that guy's trick room. Maybe this is something similar to that! He needed to either break the spell or worse, knock out his friend.

When the electrified cyclone tore toward the trainer and his mon, Empoleon intercepted stomping on the ground adamantly. It wasn't afraid of the consequences. It preformed whirlpool again, another pair of water streams swirled the opposite direction as the opposing whirlpool active, making both cancel each other out, the electricity flying into the air and dispersing without a vessel.

Hareta looked at his pair of foes. So Minun was helping him boost moves? Well, what if there was a way to overwhelm them even more than last time? Hareta got an idea.

"I dunno what you did to Minun, but I think we both know your psychic moves aren't perfect!"

Hareta hopped on Empoleon's back, the pair nodding their heads in affirmation. That's when Empoleon called raised their flippers, the ground bubbling from beneath them. That's when a plume of water erupted from the ground under them, thrusting them into the air on a large wave of water, towering over his foes.

"Surfs up Revan!" He called at him, riding Empoleon like a surfboard.

Revan, the Prodigal Knight

For some reason, he felt the need to answer Hareta. Maybe it was the fact this child had impressed him. Sure, it had been impressive to defeat Metal Sonic in the first place, but now Revan could see why. The robot was not at all built for something like this. In a sense, Revan had his weaknesses in fights like these, but so did Hareta.

"It is not psychic," the gray Jedi stated, closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath, pushing back the sense of fury welling up in him. He could not allow himself to be consumed by the Dark Side. "It is the Force, something that lives in all. I control it, which means... I control life. Death. Purgatory... even the air you breathe..."

His force aura was restoring his stamina quickly, and thanks to Minun, that had boosted. A useful creature... kinda cute, too, he guessed. Despite Revan's thoughts, his fears, his desire... well, maybe the kid was rubbing off on him, his attitude enough to make Revan smirk slightly. Maybe this fight wouldn't be as tragic as he'd assumed it would be, just the end result.

Minun leaped onto Revan's back as he lifted into the air, a wind seeming to pick up around them, proving Revan's words true as he began to conjure a storm akin to which he'd defeated Turner in, the gray Jedi meeting the two at eye-level, though unbeknownst to the two (probably), this was an illusion as the true Revan veiled himself in the force, blending into the background alongside Minun, tricking his opponents whilst he made his way toward the Jedi Temple, keeping pace with the wave of water.

Hareta

"Huh? Force?" Hareta shook his head clear, focusing on the attack he was doing. "Well, whatever it is, can it stop this?!"

Hareta patted Empoleon on the back twice, the penguin king getting the message. That's when they boosted forward much faster than before, jets shooting out from behind them as the surf wave grew bigger, taller, and faster.

"Aqua Jet Boosted Surf!!"

The wave flew over the copy of Revan, aiming to swamp what he figured was the real one, consequently crashing down on the city below and flooding the streets as to limit the ways he could run. Pillars from the Jedi temple fell as the wave smashed into them, water gushing along the roads as well as pouring into the temple halls.

Water, penguin, and person burst over and through the image of Revan, a shimmering aura pulsing from him during the contact, and he turned to stare at Hareta. "You missed," he taunted, still intending to distract the two while his true form had reached the temple, and the falling of a massive pillar was used as an advantage, Revan leaping atop as it was carried out slightly by the pullback of the waves, and Revan nodded up toward his opponents.

Minun's face screwed up in underlying concentration, before she released a Thunder Wave, and Revan raised an arm, using the force to accelerate the move fivefold whilst aiding it in its already rather decent accuracy as he balanced on the shuddering pillar. Revan had been doubtful at first, admittedly, but no wonder Hareta carried this thing around with such powerhouses--she had her uses, and Helping Hand would most certainly be useful.

Another fake!

This guy did like his tricks. But before he could figure out where the real one was, a thunder wave hit Empoleon from his flank, paralyzing him on the spot. Empoleon froze up, stunned by his paralysis. Hareta still riding him began to panic at this, as they were still high up in the air!

"Empoleon? Empoleon! pull yourself back together pal!"

They began to plummet down with the final arc of the wave, Empoleon still not budging. Hareta looked at the water type's body, and it's position with the flippers to the sides. Maybe...it didn't need to move just yet.

"Trust me on this one!"

He grabbed the golden spikes on Empoleon's head firmly, and as the water got near the concrete that Empoleon was nose diving towards, Hareta pulled up, bringing Empoleon's belly level as he was flung into the hole of the temple, the Pokémon sliding on it's belly inside. Due to the wet floor reducing friction, the steel bellied Pokémon didn't receive nearly any damage.

"Phew...that was a close one." Hareta panted, getting off of his friend. "...Where did you think Revan go? ...And what IS this place??"

Rebellio

A damaged shield flew directly towards Rebellio, the Adept placing an arm in front of himself before thread burst from the limb, taking the shape of a small shield that blocked the incoming one and sent it flying upwards, Rebellio's construct shattering on impact. Defensive creations weren't his forte, but he could reinforce them with more thread to give them extra durability. Unfortunately, Kassandra's shield toss was too quick for him to do such a thing.

Raising that same arm skyward, the Falcon shot a single string towards the midair shield, the string wrapping around the misthios' discarded shield. With a tug, he brought the damaged shield down towards himself, the Adept positioning it in front of himself to block the incoming arrow.

"Think you dropped this." With that done, Rebellio tossed the shield towards Kassandra just like she had moments earlier.

Machamp
The four-armed brute smirked at Psyduck’s obviously fake confidence, before following him into the archway.

They were once again in a void. Machamp knew what to do, so he went ahead and gave the location to the voice, and they were transported to…

A massive city, many people and Pokémon bustling about, although a few were gathered around Psyduck and Machamp, as if they expected a fight. Nearby, there was a large Pokémon center, but Host Magic prevented both Psyduck and Machamp from using it. There were many shops nearby, displaying dresses, hats, and even pokeballs. On top of some buildings, there were large screens that showed Psyduck and Machamp. It was like fights were common, even appreciated here. Like sport. A kilometer or so away, there was a large park that was almost identical to Route 5. This was the one and only: Neos City!

Machamp flexed for the crowd, grinning as he did so, before looking down at Psyduck, giving him the first move.

Metal Sonic
The robot squinted as Specter provided his reasoning for conversing with the enemies.
Metal turned his head to the side slightly as the monkey overlord made a bold statement, firmly believing his goal was the greatest of them all. Metal crossed his arms in response to Specter’s possible surrender. That was exactly how he lost last time.

However, before the robotic hedgehog could comment on it, the albino ape made another interesting statement.

“That's why I found a way to spare your fate regardless of this tournament."

Metal squinted, unconvinced. How would Specter, who was just a tourney fighter like everyone else, manage to counteract that strange Host’s magic?

"Aha! Doubt me, do you? But the answer is already in our possession."

"A simple upload of this chip and I can download everything that makes you yourself. Memory banks, protocol, and everything in between. I'd simply keep this on my person. And when we inevitably are the last two alive, you will take the fall so that the both of us shall live to see the fruits of victory."

Revan, the Prodigal Knight

Hareta and his Empoleon had slid directly into the temple's Administration Center, which would then lead directly into massive expanse of the temple's courtyard, a combination of the landing area, gardens, and entrances/exits to other locations of the Jedi Temple.

"The Jedi Temple on Coruscant," Revan's voice echoed along every direction to answer Hareta, impossible to pinpoint--even harder if he was simply throwing his voice like he did for his illusions. "Every force-sensitive being, regardless of species, is brought here to train at a very young age. Much younger than you, even. This is a crude imitation of the place where I was raised. Where I was trained. Where those I trusted turned their backs on me, selfishly controlled by the very fears they claimed to not possess. I was the only one strong enough to end a war that threatened to destroy the entire galaxy."

A faint hum seemed to exist in the air, like a monk chant perpetuated throughout time and space, casting an ambient sound over the temple. "When I return, I will usher in a new age upon the Jedi, an age of change. They fear passion, and as I have found love, they fear me."

One of the large pillars on the side of the room suddenly detached, and fell toward Hareta and Empoleon. Undoubtedly they would move out of the way, and the pillar would subsequently begin to roll after them until stopped, only earning a shove from the force to get it moving. Cracks began to appear along the floors and ceiling as the storm continued to build outside of the room, gusts of wind rushing into the room periodically to ensure the storm was not forgotten.

Kassandra, the Eagle Bearing Misthios

"Nah, you can have it," Kassandra answered the reversal with an additional reversal, kicking herself up into the air to thrust out her leg, and the shield was launched back at Rebellio at twice its speed, spinning like a frisbee back at him whilst Kassandra notching another arrow, and aimed--before she launched it high, eating into her third charge.

As the arrow reached directly above Rebellio, it suddenly erupted, dozens of arrows beginning to rain down as if by magic while Kassandra notched three arrows into her bow, and shot at Rebellio from the side.

The boy's head darted back and forth toward the enigmatic echo that perused through the halls. Where was it coming from? The echoes made it impossible to tell. Was it even real? Something was more important to focus on however, as a pillar came down from the ceiling, cracking as it came down toward them.

"Wooooah!"

Hareta lunged to the right, sliding across the glossy wet floor as Empoleon kicked it's feet to slide to the left, since it was already on the floor. Hareta sighed as he rose to his feet that he managed to avoid it in time...that's when it creaked over and came barreling toward him!"

"Aw geez-!"

Hareta ran the opposite direction of the pillar, which continued to roll his way. The trainer looked behind him, noticing that the pillar wasn't slowly down any. Well that's not normal...! Hareta decided it was just going to delay the inevitable to run, so flipped around to face the pillar.

Buffing his chest up, he put his hands in front of him. The pillar collided with him, but the impact was lessened as his sneakers slid across the lubricaticed floor due to the water that was splattered everywhere. Hareta tried to shoot the pillar as much as possible as he was pushed more and more to the dryer side of the room. Right as it the floor began to loose it's slickness, Hareta dug in his heels into the ground, allowing him to vastly slow the pillar before-

*TANK!*

Empoleon's spiked flippers dug into the pillar, ceasing it's movement completely. And in a single motion, it ripped the pillar into three pieces, removing the center section from the thirds.

"Phew, good going Empoleon!" Hareta thanked, adjusting himself. "See Revan?? Isn't this cool?? It doesn't have to be a life or death battle to be fun!

Kassandra kicked the shield right back towards Rebellio, the Adept summoning a new scythe before promptly slicing the already damaged shield in half. The following rain of arrows was something he was unprepared for, Rebellio placing his scythe above him to protect his face, many of the projectiles pinging off both the crimson weapon and the Falcon's armor, leaving a multitude of small marks along it.

While Rebellio endured the rain of arrows, the misthios shot three more arrows at his side, these ones easily making direct contact with his armor due to him being preoccupied with the attack from above. While the armor prevented any form of serious damage, quick and constant blows like those would be sure to weaken it over time.

Morphing his scythe into the shape of a Gatling gun once more, Rebellio unleashed another barrage of string bullets in Kassandra's direction. Without a shield, this attack would surely be much harder to deal with now...

Amaterasu
Amaterasu looked over turner's stance. She herself appeared to be sitting casually. With all this staring down, she almost considered taking nap right then and there, but decided against it. Turner appeared irritated enough as it was.
Oh right, they were fighting.
With a swish of her tail, Amaterasu sent a trail of ink flying quickly across the area. With the finesse of Bob Ross, the ink splashed through the nearby stream, becoming a powerful gush of water that flowed towards Turner.

Weavile

Weavile dropped down slightly after her counter attack, hiding behind the trunk of the tree to avoid the bullets before climbing again and seeing the fleeing man. She'd have to take care. This guy appeared average, but that thing he held didn't look like something to mess with.
hmmm...
Weavile jumped off the tree, using her speed and agility to nimbly traverse the area before launching three small icicles directly before Leon as to cut him off. They landed in front of the entrance, freezing the floor and expanding into sizable spikes of ice that would freeze Leon solid if he so much as touched them.
Weavile seemed to split into multiple clones, all of which jumped up and dived above Leon, leg outstretched, and in perfect sync.

Psyduck
Aw, phooey, another city! And this one didn't have the overgrown aesthetic the last one did. The glimmer of pondwater was a ways away, and Machamp was between The Duck and his pond, which any Pokémon professor will tell you is a bad idea.
He wasn't even about to try and show off like Machamp, because he wasn't trying to impress the humans unlike Machamp.
"Psyduck psyduck, psyduck psyduck psy! [Outta my way, X-Attack-For-Brains!]"
The Duck's hands rose, and beneath him swelled a surge of water, forming into a huge wave that travelled towards Machamp, and the waterfowl Surf-ing it. As the wave crashed down towards his foe, Psyduck leapt off, now nothing between he and his home as he faceplanted into asphalt.
Whilst spitting out a small amount of gravel, he hoisted himself to his feet, quickly firing off a Hydro Pump in his adversary's direction and sending him backwards even closer to Route 3.

Turner

Some sort of inky black substance interacted with the stream, causing a torrent to rip towards the rabbit. Curious, maybe this was a more natural way of Revan's ability, where instead of control, it worked alongside the element itself for the attacks. Turner had no time to speculate though, so he simply made a mental note of "black stuff = bad", and skipped off the stone street. He ran against the wall to close the distance, and then kicked off and soared over his canine opponent. He landed behind Amaterasu and wasted no time with a sweep kick, followed by a whirlwind of blades!

"Well, doesn't look like many others are around..." Axe decided to pass time before he'd head to his next match, taking the phone he'd taken from Calmarmon. After fiddling with it a second, he accidently pressed a button.

....Oh. Oh!

"Um...this on? that's what Ms Minnie said when starting it, I think right? Alright, um, sorry guys, not Ranamon. I'm Axe. Uh. Update. Ranamon lost the loser's bracket, no idea where she's gone, I think she's dead, sorry." Axe paused. "Er...I have no idea how to turn this off. ...Well, while I try to figure this out, how about I tell you guys about a story from where I'm from?"

Cue insistent explanation of the possible origin of his hometown, and some random short stories about things he'd heard from the village.

"So then Pasmina was all like 'Axe, don't go in that Tavern after Matock' and I'm just thinking, oh, we're the same age what's the problem? If he can do it, I can too! And then she left and..." Axe paused. "Oh, huh? Is this the button I used to...?" He clicked another button.

click!

The weird looking symbols disappeared.
"Phew..." Axe sighed in relief that was a mistake. He really hoped no one here watched that. "Maybe I should just go to my next match before I mess up like that again..." He slipped the phone back into his satchel, and began to make his way over to the gateway for his next match.

Revan, the Prodigal Knight

"Fun?" the voice seethed throughout the chamber. "You think my plight should be taken lightly? You think I should not take the lives of my wife and son seriously? You think this is fun?"

Revan emerged, a veil seeming to lift away from him as he strode from the entrance of the Administration Center, a pulse of violet energy emerging from the metallic rod in his hand. "I am fighting for the preservation of all I know. You're fighting- for a game!" upon the last three syllables, Revan slashed one-handed with his blade through the air. Pulling at the plasma with the force, what looked like a volatile wave of energy bursted from the lightsaber, the air sizzling and popping in its presence as it fired toward Hareta, before Revan took a step forward, thrusting out his arm for a force push, intending on shoving the pillar backward through a violent shove, and possibly capture Hareta and/or his Empoleon within the blast(s) and their subsequent consequences.

"Do not take me for some conjurer of cheap tricks, child," Revan hissed, Minun sticking out her head from behind him, clinging to his back. "I am not here to win. I am here to conquer."
Kassandra, the Eagle Bearing Misthios

"Malakas!" the misthios spat, recognizing the weapon he'd formed. She really didn't have many viable counters for that, and she wasn't keen on pushing into her War Cry so soon...

Before the threads could begin firing again, her gaze swept across their arena. The courtyard they battled in wasn't exactly empty, a platform near the feet of the pedestal Athena stood on, a great goblet of fire atop it, a block of marble looking like suitable cover. Kassandra sprinted toward it, leaping through the air in time to dodge the initial blasts of the threads, and effectively fill her third charge back up. As bits of marble chipped away with each strike of the adepts weapon, Kassandra's gaze rose up toward the statue of Athena.

No, that would be insane...

Or not.

Notching an arrow, Kassandra pushed into her newest charge, calling upon her Devastating Shot. A divine power settled over the arrow she pulled back, and then she let it fly. With a whistle, the arrow punched through the air, and struck Athena's arm, directly where it connected with the shield. A boom resounded, and the arrow annihilated the connected piece.

Then, the gigantic shield began to slowly roll toward herself and Rebellio.
Agent Leon S. Kennedy

The hell was this... the icicles that struck the ground before him quite suddenly grew larger, sealing the entrance. His opponent probably realized it wouldn't be effective in close quarters. Speaking of, the Weavile was leaping for him, splitting apart to form multiple and-

Leon answered by closing his eyes as he threw down a flashbang. The moment the Weavile were about to descend on him, the flashbang went off, bursting with brilliant light and emitting a screech of a sound, momentarily disabling anything looking directly at it. The agent then proceeded to conjure matilda and unload his newest clip on one of two things. The assumed real Weavile (the only one that would probably be affected by the flash bang) or the icicles should the Weavile flee again.

Hareta

Hareta's competitive smile soon faded to a look of concern as his foe revealed himself. There was a venom in Revan's voice that dripped with malice. He thought he was getting through to him? Did he spark a memory?

There wasn't much time to think, as Revan shot to action. Cutting in the air and firing a psychically propelled slash towards him. The pillars rolled past him due to Empoleon removing the center section, leaving them all but exposed.

"Meet that blast!"

Empoleon was quick to act, firing a Hydro Pump and the energy wave. The water was weaker, but the was dampened and dampened as it encroached before dissipating entirely. It appeared the penguin knew Hareta's commands based on little cues rather than relying on the full name of the move. Suddenly, it appeared Empoleon was pushed back with some force, skirting against the ground. Hareta pushed up on his back to prevent him from being pushed too far astray, the trainer give a counter to Revan's words.

"Here to conquer? Have you tried...not doing that instead? Sounds kinda heavy..." Hareta scratched his head, not exactly getting why Revan was so malicious. "But we ain't gonna back down just cause you said so, c'mon Empoleon, Let's throw this stuff up!"

From that vague command, Empoleon nodded his head. Conjuring up a whirlpool, if not a little delayed reaction due to the paralysis. The whirlpool scooped up the three pillar fragments, flowing them into a large hydro cyclone. And just like that, the whirlpool came barreling toward Revan whilst Empoleon's mobility suddenly ceased.

Rebellio

"Oh."

Kassandra's arrow severed the shield from the statue, causing it to roll towards the fighters. The floor cracked under its weight as it moved, Rebellio disassembling his Gatling gun to morph it into the shape a much smaller pistol, the Falcon promptly firing shots in Kassandra's direction as he ran from the massive golden shield. His shots weren't exactly accurate due to his movements, but maybe one of them would hit her with a bit of luck.

The shield only seemed to gain speed as it rolled, prompting Rebellio to shoot a crimson string towards a nearby building, the fiber acting like a grappling hook, pulling him to the side and out of harm's way. He'd lost sight of Kassandra during all the chaos, but the match wasn't over yet, indicating she was still alive somewhere...

Just where was she?

Merak

Once Hareta headed to his fight, Merak decided to do absolutely nothing. He had no games to kill the time, and he didn't feel like talking to anyone, so the Adept just stood in the middle of the lobby. Unmoving.

Merak eventually grew bored of this as well, and realizing he'd get popped by the Host if he stood around for much longer, he figured it would be best if he got to his fight. A wormhole opened below the boy, transporting him all the way to his gateway, Merak stepping through it moments before Axe did.

The Adept summoned his Glaive once his opponent arrived, holding it above his head but not activating it yet. "Go ahead and choose the stage, will ya? I just wanna get this over with..."

Shroom

The end of the Knight's last fight was rather uneventful. The Great Slash directed towards Audrey worked wonders, sending her flying off the cliff and down into the lava below, the Hero unfortunately unable to land on the platform just above the lava.

The bug's blank stare was now locked onto the new tournament bracket, the Vessel's nickname matched up against two other fighters: Snake and Robobot Armor. The former seemed to be a creature similar to the Dragonborn it once traveled with, while the latter was the very same mech that had already defeated the bug. However, this fight seemed to be a three-way one, so perhaps the human would assist in taking the mech down.

At any rate, there was a fight to get to. Shroom walked over to the nearby gateway, being transported to the empty void. The first fight it had had taken place in the Colosseum of Fools, an arena perfectly suited for fighting. Might as well select that one again...

Needless to say, Axe was surprised to see his opponent appearing into the gateway before he could even realise. Geez, that's fast...

He gulped as he saw the glaive, before hearing his foe.

"Right! I'm not gonna lose, ya know!" He decided to say, before looking out to the void of the gateway.
Hm...somewhere good... He seems to be floating, so not the bridge, I'd just fall...Aha! The Graveyard! That's a big flat area I with stuff I can use! I pick the Graveyard from my hometown! The place where I fought that skeleton and that weird doll thing in Margo's nightmare!

With his choice set in stone, Axe began to wait. Slowly, the stage began to morph; The sky changed to a dark night, and the scenery changed to a small zone. Behind the fighters, a small slope, leading into fog - Though Axe quickly recognised as the way to the rest of the town, he decided that fog was not worth going into. - but in front of them was a large flat land with some trees, ending at a noticeable cliff-face with flimsy railings. The flat land itself had a set of paths leading in a few directions, and...a lot of gravestones, all with a small red insignia on them and very small writing. The air felt somewhat oppressive, and there was that feeling of...well, anything could go wrong here. It is a graveyard after all. There also seemed to be some chickens, cannons, and a single explosive barrel scattered, as well as some small boxes that looked more like grocery bags than boxes.

"Get ready to be embarrassed, chair guy!" Axe taunted, moving to get slightly further away from Merak with a jump and a skip into action, getting his shield - which seemed to have repaired itself since his last match from it's overtime damage - into a guard position.

Hopefully winning had Host restock all my stuff as well as repair my shield...but still, as long as I don't drop the black stone on, say, some bones, it'll be fine.

Revan, the Prodigal Knight

Lifting his arm to the ceiling, the force user saw the whipping waves and recognized it immediately from a prior attack. This child was running out of moves, and the fear permeating off of him was a clear indication that, despite his words, he was beginning to realize the true gravity of his battle.

As the whirlpool began to form, the cracks earlier formed by Revan burst tenfold in length, deepening in a split second with ferocity, before Revan moved his arm downward just as quickly, and the entire ceiling immediately began to collapse atop the pair, stretching in any direction for a good twenty feet before the whirlpool struck. The gray Jedi had left himself vulnerable intentionally, getting swept up while he manipulated Minun, who used helping hand just before they got struck.

And with that increase in power, Revan closed his fist, the pillars about to crush him between themselves coming to a drastic halt, positioned in such a way that they immediately fought back against the whirlpool, killing its momentum, and possibly completely cutting it off completely, to which the gray Jedi thrust his arm forward once more. Regardless if Hareta and his Empoleon were under the fresh rubble or not, the pillars would one by one fire like missiles, aiming to slam and crush the opposition before helping hand's effects dispersed for the moment.
Kassandra, the Eagle Bearing Misthios

Ha! It worked, and Rebellio was on the run. Kassandra nearly jumped as a portion of her defense was crushed by the rolling shield, though she remained out of harm's way as the shield rolled on by, a few stray threads bursting against the remainder of her cover. Why was her opponent running in a straight line?

Cracking her neck, the misthios replaced her bow with the Blade of Ares once more, feeling at her two remaining charges for a moment. Hm... with enough momentum, she could certainly use her Sparta Kick to an advantage with that shield...

Peering through the eyes of Ikaros, soaring high overhead, Kassandra pinpointed Rebellio, and almost perfectly, he was moving to the side, using a thread like some kind of rope to tug him to safety. Kassandra burst into action, sprinting toward the rolling shield, positioning herself opposite Rebellio, just at an angle enough to get aid from the shield's momentum--and she ate into her second to last charge.

Leaping forward, Kassandra raised her foot, supernatural power flowing through her as she thrust her foot forward. With a heavy clang that rang throughout the city of Athens, the shield suddenly jumped, and almost completely changed direction, now quickly falling toward Rebellio as though to crush him.

Hareta

*CRACK*

"Huh?" Both trainer and pokemon looked up, noticing the ceiling buckling and cracking. Hareta looked toward a room nearby, just a few dozen feet away. They could hide in there. Right as he was about to run, he realized something. Empoleon was paralyzed. It wasn't going to go to cover. Instead of leaving Empoleon, Hareta gripped it's stomach in an embrace, hoping that would somehow help.

Empoleon mustered the energy to move it's front flipper, falling to the ground as rocks and the ceiling proceeded to bury the pair alive. The pillars shot at the rubble as well, impacting the rocks and crumbling into fragments. All was still.

.
..
...

*rumble...*

The rocks shook around the burial site of the man and beast, and after a few seconds, a burst of water erupted from the pile, rocks and pillar fragments flying everywhere, including at Revan's position.

"Heh...That wasn't bad..." The young trainer spoke, his silhouette appearing from the rubble.

Hareta stood, crossing his arms in front of Empoleon, who had some bruises and scratches, but appeared otherwise well off. After all, this wasn't the first, nor second time the penguin had been buried. His scarf flew back behind him as he looked directly at Revan.

"...But this battle is just beginning!"

The water that had just sprayed everywhere diagonally stopped mid flight, separating into sharp, long spears of water.

"Omnidirectional Brine!"

The water spears flew across nearly every angle, the water from below and above rushing toward Revan to bombard him from all sides!

Revan, the Prodigal Knight

His opponents were piled--yet no fanfare. The gray Jedi's eyes narrowed. Intriguing.

As he revitalized his force connection, Revan closed his eyes, and felt through the living essence of all. Calling upon a glimpse into the future, to seek out a response. A flash of rubble, the brine from before, and...

The shaking of rock and debris. Revan's eyes shot open as Hareta and his Pokemon burst outward, and the rubble sent flying (alongside plenty more unaffected by the pair) hurtled toward the gray Jedi en mass.

After some more standard "hero" dialogue from the boy, he launched his next attack, and Revan's glimpse into the future came to fruition, the reason he'd summoned this orb or rock. The rocks snapped together like a puzzle whilst Revan lifted into the air, pushing against each other to form a shell as brine began to pelt it from all angles, stabbing into it, punching holes, but failing to reach Revan, before the rocks suddenly conformed to his body like some kind of armor, the rock on his back forming what looked like a pack, in which Minun was hidden safely inside, and he shot toward his opponents, saber gleaming, the volatile plasma sparking from his blade as Revan appeared behind Hareta and Empoleon, having moved fast enough to attempt a slash at Hareta, before the force user immediately began to launch a volley of strikes, a whirlwind of slashes, all aided by the force and Minun's helping hand.

As this went on, the wind outside continued to pick up more and more, gale-force winds blowing about, a storm now in full swing.

Hareta

Empoleon and Hareta watched on as Revan exerted himself, protecting him and the cheerleading Minun in rock armor. Empoleon became paralyzed as Revan repelled his attacks before closing in on Hareta.

Hareta dodged strikes, his body bending back after each sword swipe.

"Woah- hey! I dunno how you- woah- got this angry but-" Hareta said in between swipes. "You mentioned them, a wife and child- ack! Would they want you to do this?!"

Revan, the Lost Jedi

His anger reached a spike. This child, no--his opponent, dared bring up his family?

With a roar, the world seemed to bend and shift around the pair, and gravity appeared to warp into a black hole around Revan's fist. The energy surging through the air left other living entities nearby feeling as though not just the air had been sucked from their lungs, but their very souls.

Color disappeared from the world in a flash as Revan's arm shuddered under immense strain and power, flashes of black and white bursting at the seams of reality, before Revan did something even he hadn't intended.

He turned his arm away.

The powerful blast of energy, built by the sheer, raw power of the corruptive dark side, was dispersed opposite to Hareta and his Empoleon. The rubble crumbled away as Minun tumbled to the ground in a daze, and a blast of energy blinded the world.

...

... ...

Color returned, as did seeming normalcy. Whilst the entire Jedi temple stood on Revan's right, where Hareta and Empoleon were, the left side for as far as the eye could see had been obliterated. Nothing stood taller than an inch off the ground.

Shoulders heaving, body smoldering from the energy exerted, the gray Jedi closed his fist tightly, seeming to about to continue the fight... before his hand laxed, and his lightsaber retracted.

"Of course they wouldn't," he stated simply, his head turned away as his chest continued to rise and fall at a rapid pace. "I don't want to do this," the force user continued, turning his head slowly to look toward Hareta. "You think I enjoy this? I was born and bred as a tool of war. I do not maim and abuse for the sake of it. It does not please me. I am simply... skilled at it."

Slowly tucking his lightsaber away, the First Revanchist rose his shaking hand to his face, and pulled away his mask. "I have destroyed Gods and Demons, but it was never enough. There was always a bigger fish, and I was always their puppet. They craved my power, and they would turn that power against those I was pledged to. Those I cared for. I have slaughtered billions," his eyes were cold as he stared directly into the much younger individual's eyes.

The mask fell to the ground, discarded as though it were nothing. Revan did not even cast it a glance. "My family... are dead, Hareta."

Once more, he turned his gaze away. Despite his cold and hard exterior, there seemed to be a crack in his demeanor. A semblance of emotion that belonged to the man underneath his sorrow. Like before, as Specter had seen, Revan conjured the holo-device, and it projected Bastila Shan, and the son Revan had given her.

"They died over two hundred years ago. I was forcibly kept as a slave to the will of evil, an unwilling pawn to watch as my love grew old and perished. To know my son faced the same. My grandchildren... and so on. I have gazed into the mind's of everyone here, I have found truth to the Host's vague "prize". An assumed wish. A victory. A path to power to change the very fate of the universe, and beyond. With it, I could finally correct all the wrong that was done. A master of time, and with time as my ally, I could live that life with Bastila. I could raise my son. I could vanquish the evil that plagued my universe. As I said... I don't want to kill you. If I wish to have any hope of returning to my world, and saving those I love, I have to ruin the lives of others. It is selfish, but it is all I have."

He closed his fist around the device, which shut off, and he tucked it away. "I'm so tired of fighting... especially someone else's games. But the Host is beyond my power. I cannot take from him what I desire. I have to earn it. I have been fighting for hundreds of years... at some point, you just want peace, even if you tell yourself otherwise."

Merak

"Yeah yeah, whatever..." Merak muttered in response to Axe's taunting, taking in the scenery. A graveyard, huh? Well, if this kid wanted to pick a fancy burial ground such as this one, then Merak would have to do his part and do the actual burying. He wasn't gonna lose to someone like him.

The Glaive in the Adept's hand activated, its blue accents glowing brightly before the sword-like device unleashed a dark aura that swirled around Merak like a tornado. After a moment, the tornado dissipated, revealing the boy's Weaponized form. He now sported bright blue hair and eyes, dark blue armor with cyan highlights and two horn-like appendages attached to his head. Sticking his arms out to the side, Merak summoned his Armed Chair, the mech emerging from a wormhole behind him. Leaping onto the seat on top of his mech, Merak yawned, placing his hands behind his head and crossing his legs.

"Do me a favor and die quick..." He groaned, the Armed Chair firing a series of missiles from its hands straight ahead. They flew a slight distance before traveling through a wormhole in their path, three more wormholes appearing above and around Axe. They all released several missiles in Axe's direction, tripling the attack's firepower in mere seconds.

Rebellio

Crap...!

That clang certainly did not mean anything good. The massive golden shield was now speeding towards him, Rebellio instinctively converting himself into thread as he reached the building, his body quickly disassembling into one long crimson string that slipped through a crack in the nearby structure just before the shield struck- smashing through with ease, rubble and dust scattering everywhere as the building collapsed.

Nothing happened for a good thirty seconds. Eventually, the crimson thread emerged from the rubble, taking the form of Rebellio once more, his shoulders clearly heaving. Outside of Crimson-Death-Thread, he'd never stayed in that form for an extended period of time. He'd describe becoming thread as being similar to holding one's breath, becoming more and more difficult to perform the more time went on. Luckily for him, he'd be able to fully recover from this maneuver after a minute or two. He'd just have to play it a bit safer for now...

"That was a good move..." Rebellio spoke, holding a hand out in front of him. After a moment, he manifested the same pistol from earlier. Without a moment's notice, the Falcon opened fire in Kassandra's direction.

Hareta

Hareta listened intently to what the previous imposing man, now a broken one said. It seemed that this dark persona was merely a facade he put up to mask his own demons, ones that he couldn't slay. Listening to the end, Hareta thought for a moment, putting a hand to his chin. He paced back and forth before sitting down on a piece of the broken pillar, patting a space beside him for Revan tk sit down.

"Here, I got my own story to tell."

Empoleon blinked, not sure when the battle would resume as the two began to chat. Electing to simply poke Minun in the meantime. Hareta looked up at the opened ceiling.

"Ya know, you remind me of someone. A good friend of mine. Ya see, where he came from he was so lonely, thought he was the only guy out there. But when he found us humans, he was attacked a lot, and so thought all people were bad! So he tried blasting everyone he met with a real burning anger. But I knew deep down, he was just afraid."

Hareta turned to Revan, a look of sympathy yet confidence flushed on his face.

"You know what you two have in common? You guys were thinking all your problems would go away if you get rid of everyone in your way. But that's not life, ya know? If you sacrifice everything to get what you want, what will there be left when you finally get it? Would you be still happy to get it? ...Would they be happy for you to get it?"

Revan, the Lost Jedi

"That can't be determined," Revan responded, feeling his arm shudder, and grasping it with his other hand to lessen its movement. "Only assumed. You see, I have nothing left to sacrifice. I have nothing left at all, and everything to gain from it."

He didn't take the seat Hareta had suggested. Instead, he remained standing, his eyes closing for a moment, as though he were having a separate conversation with himself. "Tell me, Hareta. What would you do if somebody stole your control? The same way I stole your Minun's control of itself? What would you do if that person forced you to destroy entire planets, wipe out entire peoples, slaughter those you care for..."

The earlier psychological tactics Revan had used, utilizing people in Hareta's life in the context he'd turned against them, was given more light as not something random Revan had done, but a projection, something of a mockery, of what had been actually done to him. "This was not done to me once, but twice. Tell me, what would you do when you're faced with the person who stole your life, and destroyed your hope. Someone who lacks any sense of goodness. Somehow who destroys simply because they can, without rhyme, or reason. Tell me, Hareta. Could you walk a mile in MY shoes and be the same?"

Hareta

"Huh...that's a tricky question you got there. Lemme think for a sec."

Hareta wasn't much of a thinker, but think he did. Massaging his temples with a sweat, the trainer pondered something on the tip of his tongue. He then opened his eyes in an 'aha moment.'

"Oh! That's it! You remind me of my best friend! Her name's Mitsumi, I think...you already know that based on that image huh?" He shrugged his shoulders, definitely not appreciating that image. "Well, it may not look it, but she was once a pawn of Cyrus, and man she was powerful! She battled super well, that hardest fight I ever fought! But she said it wasn't her choice, that her Boss, Cyrus would execute her childhood pokemon if she didn't comply. Ya know what I said?"

Hareta went up to Revan, put a hand puppet up to his face.

"Blah Blah BLAH! You don't know what your talking about!" He grinned, putting the puppet down. "Is said: 'You ain't a war machine! Know how I can tell?'"

He pointed up at Revan's face with his index finger.

"Your crying!"

A long moment of silence followed, before Hareta retracted his finger, putting it to his chin.

"Well, at least that's what I remember anyway. But you know what I mean! She then saw to live how she wanted and do what she wanted, and she relied on her friends to help her out of her bind!"

Weavile
*FLASH*
SUNOFVA-
Weavile hissed as the bright light blinded it. She stumbled without much grace, before catching herself, eared perking up. Okay, guess this wasn't a normal human. Humans didn't typically know flash.
She heard a bang, however, it wasn't directed at her. the true her anyway. The clones perfectly imitated her actions, so instead of a single Weavile dazed in a crowd of them, it was multiple dazed Weavile in a group. Not ideal, but she could work with this
Her sight gone for now, Weavile fell back on two other senses. Smell and Hearing. The gunshot and burnt smell clearly showed Leon's position. The weavile grinned.
All the Weavile summoned up a cluster of icicles, kicking them towards Leon before hiding under the snow.

Amaterasu
The rabbid was agile. Surprise surprise.
Amaterasu spread her paws in anticipation was Turner soared over her. As soon as he landed, she did a leap of her own, gracefully backflipping over the rabbit and avoiding the kick. As she did so, the torrent of water redirected itself and gushed towards Turner, while Amaterasu swung her Reflector, Solar Flare, from behind the rabbit.

"Woah..." Axe was surprised by his foe starting by transforming...and that was a big difference. Before he could ponder the strategist's change from an angsty teen to having wacky blue hair and a floating chair, there was an attack incoming. "Woah!" He quickly rose his shield to block the strange projectiles...only for them to disappear into something weird in front of him.

What's that...? Huh?

Before Axe could figure it out, some more weird things appeared around him, and the odd projectiles came flying out. With not a moment to think, Axe was caught by a large amount of the missiles, getting yells of pain from the boy.

No...not so soon! I'M NOT DYING TO THIS!

By now, Axe was used to getting the green stone to work, and now had figured he could just...force it to work now. Of course, that didn't make it any less terrifying. ESPECIALLY WHEN GETTING PELTED BY EXPLOSIONS!

Anyway, the bright flash of light with a green hue came again, and went just as it arrived. Axe himself had disappeared from the attack area, and had appeared next to the graves and one of those small packages.
"Urgh..." He groaned, shaking his head to get rid of some comical stars. "What's this...?" He picked up the package...revealing what looked like some kind of kebab?
"A CURRYQUETTE! Oh, thank you Host for letting these be here, I needed this!" Somehow gaining energy back just from the sight of food, Axe immeadiantly began to gobble down on the...curryquette. Soon, it was finished, and Axe threw the stick left to the side. "Ah, I needed that pick me up after that..." He sighed in relief, before turning to face Merak again, smirking. "Alright, now you're going down!" He said, beginning to charge Merak.
Alright, maybe I could...! Aha!
Getting an idea, Axe quickly snatched a firecracker from his satchel, lighting it with his shoe while running and hiding it behind his shield, before jumping and throwing the firecracker before moving to slam the pickaxe out onto Merak, still unaware of the Conjuror's ability to create wormholes.

Copen

Following attempted analysis of the cracks in the sky, Copen decided to bring his focus back onto his opponent. Specter was clearly a more sophisticated being, very different from the scientist's earlier foes. Jevil was an insane clown, Weavile a sly kamaitachi... Tethi had actually been quite normal, all things considered. It was a shame she had to suffer such an unfortunate fate during this tournament.

Both the helmet the simian wore and the chair he sat on seemed fairly advanced. Perhaps he'd relied on his technology to make it this far, so Broad Circuit would likely be effective here. Still, he felt like something was missing. Advanced technology alone would not guarantee victory, especially not in a tournament with fighters from across the multiverse. He'd find out the full extent of his capabilities soon, anyway. Feeling adequately prepared with his current subroutines and intel, the Adept Slayer and his companion approached the simian.

"Specter," Copen spoke. "Are you prepared for our fight?"

Merak

Interesting. Axe had teleported a slight distance following a green flash of light, preventing a quick elimination. Hopefully it's not spammable...

After a quick break to eat a curryquette, Axe was back in the fight. The firecracker was rather unexpected, prompting Merak to direct one of his mech's hands in between himself and the explosive, the hand tanking both the firecracker and the boy's pickaxe attack. With that done, the Armed Chair's other hand would deliver a powerful straight punch towards Axe. If it missed, a wormhole would appear in its path and cause it to reappear from above him.
