Amaterasu
The tundra beads snapped against the rock, freezing a good portion of it. However, Amaterasu wasn't done, and with a flick of her snout, wrapped the rock in her makeshift whip, bringing it closer. The rock was fully encased in ice, which cracked as Amaterasu used it to block the "yeeted" knife and katana, peeking from behind it to see Turner reequip.
Not done with her new toy, Amaterasu headbutted into it, sending the rock barrelling towards Turner as he went for the attack. Perhaps crashing headfirst into ice would hurt and average wolf, but Amaterasu had obliterated rocks with her noggin. Aside from a chilly head, she was fine.

Specter

Height? What does he plan on doing from all the way up there-

Thats when the overlord was suddenly zapped with electricity that manifested nearly directly on him, the other clones fading off as he was shocked backwards. His chair caught some heat too, smoke starting to come from it. Specter shook his head, attempting to shrug off the damage.

"Gah! Not bad, not bad..." Specter muttered, adjusting a shoulder. "So the tags lock on, do they? Despite the clones? How interesting. If you like playing with electricity, don't mind if I join in on the fun!"

As the elevator kept rising up toward the sealed ceiling, two hands shot out from Specter's chair. They faced directly above him, creating a flat grid square of electricity. The electrical current was so intense that it could stop a full grown human mid sprint. Then, he kicked his thrusters into overdrive, flying straight up towards Copen, aiming to shock him before slapping him down toward the ground with a disrespectful backhand. The elevator had almost reached it's destination...

Copen

Given Copen's position, avoiding the electric grid proved impossible. Specter's attack struck the scientist head on, earning a pained yell from Copen as the electricity coursed through him, subsequently being slapped down to the ground by one of the hands. Electricity crackled around the Adept Slayer's armor as he hit the ground, the human slowly but surely managing to get back up. Had it not been for his White Tiger's added resistance to electricity following his encounters against Gunvolt, that attack could have been much deadlier.

With the tag having worn off by now, Copen decided to save his weapon energy for whatever was coming next. Firing a barrage of lasers from his gun, the scientist aimed to damage Specter's helmet while the simian and his chair were still recovering from Stellar Spark.

Merak

"Just lemme kill you...!" Merak growled as he kept firing missiles towards where Axe's voice came from. Were any of them even hitting? This was getting annoying...

Axe's attempt to get the shield back was met with slight resistance from the mech itself, but the red stone helped Axe pull through, retrieving his weapon before swinging the pickaxe portion at the Armed Chair. Merak managed to move one of the mech's hands in front of the main body before the pickaxe struck, piercing through the exterior of one of the mech's hands with surprising power, revealing the circuitry inside.

"Bah... Die already!" Merak exclaimed as his Armed Chair flew backwards a decent distance before firing more missiles from its hands, all of them flying into a single wormhole. Several small wormholes opened in the general area above Axe, releasing multiple missiles each in an attempt to carpet bomb the boy!

Specter

Specter couldn't help but to chuckle out loud as he saw Copen hit the ground from his slap, electricity still coursing through the teen. However, this humor faded soon after Copen planned a counter attack, firing off blasts with his pistol up at him. Having no psychic attack currently prepared to deal with this, Specter flipped his chair with where the back of it faced the ground. The overlord stood up, standing on the backrest before leaping off, right as Copen shot up the underside, destroying an engine.

The chair began to freefall down, glowing red hot from it's dead man's switch protocol. It would soon erupt into a fiery explosion, right as the ceiling opened up. They had arrived at the destination.

The elevator stopped when it reached level with the new surroundings. It was a pretty massive room, heavyduty glass all around around in a dim formation. They stood on a large pillar that overlooked it all, surrounded by floorless void.

"Welcome to the observatory, watch your step or you might take a tumble."

Specter bemused as he floated down from his previous jump, his cape touching the ground as he landed. He gestured to the earth, which was quite clearly presented in the centerfold of this observation tower.

"This tower was originally constructed to spell an end to humanity. I coined it the name: 'Commencement of the final sin', though by subordinates ended up calling it the 'chop rocket'...but I suppose titles do not matter now, eh?"

This monologue continued, Specter not making an effort to attack Copen, instead crossing his arms and giving a round of laughter.

"Hahaha...! This tool of genocide fits this duel. You always had a thing for sniffing out life, so what a better place to stage our final battle!"

The rocket separated from the patient station, speeding ahead toward earth as the planet grew bigger and bigger. Before long...it would crash into the earth! They were on a short timeframe now...

•PROJECTED TIME OF ARRIVAL: 5 Minutes

"And let everyone go on without me!? In your dreams!" Axe said back to Merak's growl.

What is that...? A weak point?

Seeing the circuitry, Axe was confused for a second, before shaking his head. He had to focus, but maybe target it if he could...
"I already said, in your dreams!" He said, beginning to charge again, confident, only to stop as he saw the wormhole take the missiles. "Uh oh." Given the last few attacks from Merak, he realised quick where this was going, darting his eyes around to spot where it'd come from, only to hear something above and looking up. By the time he'd looked up, his general area was covered without an easy escape, and the missiles began to rain down - Axe was terrified.

The missiles began to strike, causing screams of pain, almost cutting off Axe's thoughts at every turn.
No...no! I- I- don't wanna die!
Despite this, the thoughts just got out to the green stone, causing to glow and transport Axe just before the satchel was destroyed, leaaving Axe with only 4 things in addition to his shield: A single firecracker - As the others exploded as the satchel was destroyed while Axe narrowly grabbed this one -, a single Green Stone, a single Red Stone, and a Black Stone.

Tumbling out of the light a few metres out from the attacked area, Axe rolled to keep his footing and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Ngh...Not gonna die like that..." He whimpered out, raising his shield again in a stance before noticing the grave next to him.

Margo

Now, that was someone Axe knew. Or...knew the ghost of. Maybe...!
"Um...Margo? Are you there, I could really use a hand...!" He whispered to the gravestone, hoping, until he heard something in his head.
Axe, I can't really, um, help physically now, rules and all...But I have some advice; Use the wormholes to your advantage!
Oh! Okay!
...
...How do I do that? Hello? Margo?

Axe sighed in disappointment. Well, it was word a try. He decided to charge Merak again, extending his pickaxe. "Alright, I'm not letting that happen again!" He proclaimed, extending his pickaxe to force himself into the air before trying to slash again at the hands this time, thinking to target the circuitry this time.

Revan, the Butcher

"I know you won't," the hiss of Revan's voice seemed to boom like a siren inside of Hareta's mind, drowning out all other thought, so loud it could have burst his eardrums had to been aloud opposed to in his mind. "I'm counting on it."

As Hareta's teeth made dents in the force user's bracers, punching holes through the black robes concealing his arms, he moved swiftly. Even if Hareta would attempt to pull away, Revan forced the boy to remain locked like a pitbull on his arm. The boy might have been deceptively strong, but Revan was quite a bit taller, and as he lifted his arm, Hareta was lifted into the air as well.

With a simple swing, Revan slammed Hareta to the ground, directly in front of Empoleon's attack, positioned in such a way to ensure that even if the Pokemon altered direction, it could not hit Revan. Its only target was Hareta, or not. While this happened, the gray Jedi had already tossed his blade into his other hand, and plunged it for Hareta's gut. Obviously the child would squirm. Obviously he would attempt to avoid this. That was purely expected, and possibly still locked into place, not just unwilling to run, but unable to run, Hareta would be almost completely defenseless from the stab, and the subsequent slashing to reorient to Hareta's movements, all while the floor continued to crumble away rapidly around them.

Lightning burst from Revan's free fist, engulfing his entire body (and subsequently his opponent), a brilliant violet in color, though Hareta was not his target, as the force lightning was quick to begin leaping in bursts of bolts toward Empoleon, intending on frying the pokemon before it could recover itself, as Revan's speed for his entire counter had taken over the course of just a few seconds.
Alexios, Champion of the Kosmos, DEIMOS

"HAHAHA!" Alexios laughed with every swing he threw, and his opponent was quickly faltering, before leaping overhead to land opposite Deimos and slash with vigor.

A successful blow. The scythe lodged an inch into Alexios' neck. It possibly would have gone further, had he not raised his arm, his hand catching the rod of the scythe. Crimson leaked from the wound as Alexios ceased his laughter, instead tugging the scythe out of his neck with a shove, then proceeded to yank with inhuman strength, attempting to pull Rebellio off the ground and flying toward him while the Champion of the Kosmos would turn, dropping his sword to thrust his fist out like the strike of a snake, intending on bashing his knuckles against Rebellio's face as they met from the pull.
Agent Leon S. Kennedy

The underlying rumble made Leon skid to a stop, an unmistakable subterranean movement. While most wouldn't be able to detect it, mostly due to ignorance, Leon's perception was of a unique variety, and his stop put a little distance between himself and the Weavile that had just bounded up before him, clawing her way out of the earth and through the concrete. Sharp as hell claws, he'd need to be a little more wary of them.

His opponent tore out a chunk of concrete that had already been partially broken from her emergence, and hurled it toward Leon, following her attack by a sprint to drop down and slash at his ankles.

The agent's response for the concrete slab, keeping Weavile in his peripheral, was to raise his arms, and grasp the incoming slab, though not in a conventional way. Rather, he moved his body with it, grasping the slab as it moved by him, and he continued its momentum by spinning himself, pulling the concrete along with him as though it were orbiting his body, then proceeded to slam it down to the ground, intercepting Weavile's slash in the nick of time, her claws tearing at the concrete, but missing Leon's ankles, and he was immediate to respond by kicking at the pokemon's face while she was down.

Copen

Commencement of the Final Sin. A tool of genocide to wipe out not just humanity, but Earth itself. Copen could feel the entire tower rumble as it separated itself from the mix of Saru-03 and Firmament, speeding towards Earth. He knew Specter was a dangerous foe, but to be able to pull this off...

"You're nuts!" Lola yelled at the simian. "Doing this won't just put an end to humans and the planet, but it'll also wipe us out too! Who wins then, huh?!" She reprimanded Specter as a loud, computerized voice announced the time left until impact: five minutes. Copen frowned at his opponent's actions, reloading his Bullits with a stomp, small silver batteries being ejected from his boots.

"This is nothing but senseless slaughter. You question my goal of destroying all Adepts, yet you are no different. Perhaps even worse," Copen shot back, readying Hailstorm Blade as he got ready to attack once more.

"It's time to end this!" Performing a Bullit Dash in Specter's direction, Copen would attempt to place a tag on the simian before following up with several slashes of Hailstorm Blade should he be successful.

Merak

"You can't teleport forever..."

Axe had once again avoided death in another flash of green light, the rain of missiles ceasing and the wormholes vanishing. Merak's vision had partially returned by now- though it was rather blurry due to how watery his eyes were. Seriously, what was that perfume made of?!

Watching a tuft of red hair he could only assume was Axe leaping through the air in his direction, Merak opened a wormhole in front of his mech for Axe to fall into. Should it pull him in, a different wormhole would spit the boy out high in the sky, allowing the Armed Chair to throw a punch into the first wormhole to quickly strike Axe. If this tactic failed, he'd place the damaged hand in front of the mech to take the incoming blow.

Rebellio

Alexios' powerful yank was successful, Rebellio flying towards Deimos as the latter threw a quick punch. This was bad. He wasn't quite ready to morph into thread just yet, but he couldn't just take the hit head on. His hands were not in position to create a shield to take the hit, so what could he do?

Think, Rebellio... Think!

The Falcon's eyes widened as an idea came to mind. Thread suddenly emerged from his torso and hands, the crimson fiber that originated from his torso solidifying in front of Rebellio, taking the shape of a drill, spinning ferociously as it got close to Alexios. The portion of thread that emerged from his hands shot out towards the Champion of the Kosmos' arm, aiming to constrict it or slow it down in an attempt to weaken the incoming blow in some way.

Whatever the result, Rebellio was now speeding towards the demigod with a drill as a weapon, acting as a smaller version of his Crimson-Death-Thread!

Specter

Specter stood there as the pair of opponents ranted about their ideals, and about how his were so wrong. What would they know what right from wrong was? Copen was a known murderer. It was a bemusing thought, Specter chuckling in response.

"Heh...those platitudes you hold are useless here, human."

As Copen rushed to tag and swipe him with several strikes, a flash of purple light flew into view. Several strikes later, wind flew from when Copen's sword strikes Specter's own Violet dual blades. As the blades struggled on one another, Specter smirked, looking into Copen's eyes.

"Swords? I have those too. These 'adepts', humans. Do not worry, after you fall, they all will be dealt with soon enough!"

That's when Specter released a small psychic pulse from under his black boots, thrusting against Copen's blade with a burst of force. While Copen would be busy blocking this blade, he swooped his second blade in for the kill toward his neck!

Hareta

"Mmph...MMMMPHH!!!"

Hareta muffled as he was swung right towards Empoleon's attack. While the emperor penguin attempted to divert the attack of the right flipper, it only did so mildly. In doing so, Hareta evaded the spiked claws on the steel flipper, but was struck harshly with the blunt end, forcing the iron-jawed boy to spit off his hold.

Hareta rolled across the ground from the attack, grunting as he hit the cracked surface. Empoleon meanwhile had it's left flipper completely ignored, as it's claws slammed right into Revan's chest with full force! Though this wasn't the end of it, Empoleon was then electrocuted point blank range by Revan, who roared in electrical power!

The floor buckled and Empoleon cried out in pain, before being forced off Revan and onto the ground, fainted. Hareta managed to get up, recalling Empoleon as he stood, a little away from the damage radius of the attack.

"I don't get guys like you, why can't you just open your eyes! Well, if you won't see it, I'll have to force you too!"

He prepared his final pokeball, hurling it into the air...before it fell through a big hole in the floor. Hareta blinked for a few moments, looking to Revan.

"Oops.........Sike!"

Suddenly, the ground would burst open entirely, caving down into the room under it. What broke it? The sweeping arm of a giant golem. The white creature roared to life as Hareta landed square on it's head.

"RE....GI...GIG...AS!"

"Woah!" Axe quickly fell into the wormhole, his slash practically hitting nothing but air. Soon finding himself falling, he quickly panicked, as he heard the punch coming from behind, but couldn't turn to face it due to his lack of footing.

"GAH!" Axe howled as the punch slammed his back, and he could swear he almost heard a crack as began to fall faster. And faster. Soon, he landed with a huge cloud of dust and a loud crash sound. Soon, the dust began to settle, as Axe slowly got up, groaning and wheezing. "Ugh...that hurt...a lot..." He admitted, slowly raising his shield. "But I'm gonna win, still! You hear me!?" He said, readying a stance and planning.

Think, Axe! Margo said to use those...'wormholes' to my advantage, but how?!

...oh! I got it!

With a new plan in mind, having thought on the advice given, Axe shook his head. "Well? Come at me! Or you gonna throw more of those bad 'strategies' at me!?"

Copen

Specter's burst of strength and speed was not met directly by Copen, the scientist instead using his icy blade to deflect Specter's stab upwards. Using his second Permafrost-based blade, Copen blocked the violet sword that aimed to finish him off, sparks and cold air popping off of the area where the two weapons met.

With one of Specter's swords now positioned at a rather awkward angle due to the Adept Slayer's deflection, Copen used a Bullit Dash to thrust against Specter's violet sword just like the simian had moments before, aiming to get the simian to back off and throw him off balance using the Bullit Dash's immense speed.

"That burden is mine to carry, simian!"

May claws shatter chains of those who traipse in my wake... Begone, you impure!

"Shred Storm...!" Copen muttered as the P-Bits flew around the simian, appearing as crimson streaks due to the speed they carried. The six machines delivered a flurry of high-speed slashes from all directions, aiming to deal heavy damage to either Specter or his weapons!

Merak

"Bark all you want, you're gonna die anyway!"

Merak frowned at Axe's prolonged survival, retracting the fist he'd launched only to throw it straight ahead once more, flying into a wormhole in its path. The punch came from in front of Axe this time, but with one key difference: the wormhole it had emerged from was twice the size of the Adept's other wormholes, with the fist itself being equally as massive!

Specter

....????

As Copen dashed at Specter, he was thrust back through the air, back flipping before he landed back on his two feet. That's when Copen began his REAL attack. Specter wasn't aware of this move, Gunvolt never displayed it. Cautiously looking about, he had the sense to parry. Raising his blades on either side of him, he attempted to block each attempting strike.

He blocked the first two seamlessly, the third and fourth lost some grace, then the fourth struck, shattering his wrist guard for his right sword. The consequential slashes came through, slashing against his chest, before the final blow was struck, vibrant purple slashes reminiscent of Copen's own hue, Causing Specter to yell out in pain.

"GAHHHHH!!!"

The slashes has dug into parts of his left leg, his right shoulder blade, and most importantly: a massive gash on his forehead, to which a pooled blood down, staining his white hair that hung over his eye blood red.

"Tch...! Damn humans...! If that is how it is played then...!"

He brought both his swords to bear, one flickering due to the damage sustained. Instead of keeping them apart, he placed them together, white energy emitting from them as they fused together. They now formed a regal looking cutlass, an abysal black blade crowning it's immense sharp edge. Specter pointed it toward Specter, putting an arm behind his back in a fencing pose.

"I shall run you through with my sword!"

Specter's body shot forward with immense speed, his whole body emitting an energy field as he dashed forward, aiming to splice Copen down the middle with his much more powerful Cutlass.

Shred Storm was effective, causing heavy damage to one of Specter's blades as well as the simian himself, leaving cuts and gashes along his body. The blood-stained simian refused to give up, however, as he fused his violet blades into an obsidian cutlass before charging at Copen, his body enveloped in an energy field. If this one worked similarly to the one his chair featured, perhaps he had the perfect answer for it.

Right as Specter reached him, the Adept Slayer took a step to the side to avoid the cutlass, feeling the energy field searing his armor as the P-Bits manifested Twintail Bunker once more, the drills of hardened hair aiming to stab through the barrier, the cutlass, and Specter in one go.

Turning around, he faced Copen, who prepared his familiar Twintail Bunker attack. He had seen this one before. Lifting his cutlass to eye level, he aimed it directly toward Copen, blood dripping from his wet bang.

"Ciao, little man."

He then pressed a hidden trigger on the Cutlass's handle. The alloy plating around the blade expanded, energizing the blade before-

*SKREEEEEEE!*

The blade shout out like an obsidian laser beam, thin and deadly. It instantly tore through the TwinTail Bunker attack, causing cracks throughout it that would cause it to shatter like glass. The same attack aimed to do the same toward's Copen's head as it carried through it's trajectory. This one use weapon made Specter drop his now useless cutlass handle, the piece now red hot.

"What the-"

In a very unexpected move, Specter had fired his weapon's blade as a projectile, piercing through Twintail Bunker with ease. Its speed was too high for Copen to move completely out of the way, blue flames bursting from his boots as he Bullit Dashed backwards in an attempt to gain time, the scientist unable to outspeed it. He placed his right arm in the way, the superheated weapon lodging into his arm, striking with enough force to not just send Copen tumbling to the ground, but also make him drop his pistol as well.

"Guh...!"

His father's memento slid along the ground, coming dangerously close to the edge of the pillar. Copen glanced at the lost weapon, then back at Specter, mustering the strength to get back up. The two of them had lost access to their main weapon and had taken considerable damage, but they still refused to give up. Maybe Lola was right about them being similar...

Saving the last bit of his weapon energy and allowing it to begin recharging, Copen began making his way towards his Border II.

The human still drew breath. This was something he couldn't allow. As the Commencement of the Final Sin encroached toward earth, limited time on the clock, he hissed as Copen inched for his fallen blade. Grasping his own wounded shoulder, Specter was hesitant to run, as he might further rip his injuries open.

"The ambitions you have..."

He surrounded himself in blue psychic energy, teleporting closer to Copen. In doing so, he stomped on the treasured blade he held dear. Droplets of his own blood dribbled in front of Copen as the simian bit their teeth.

"...Are weaker than mine!"

A influx of psychic powers surrounded specter, something much more intense than he had been using thus far. It swelled and swelled before erupting in a explosion with Specter at the epicenter, violently gushing psychic energy bellowing from the core. It would rush across the limited spaced stage, threatening to exterminate Copen once and for all.

Copen

Copen could do nothing but brace himself for impact once Specter began charging his most powerful attack, all while stepping on his treasured pistol.

Father...

The wave of psychic energy hit like a truck, a flash of light engulfing the pillar they stood on as Specter unleashed the intense attack. Copen, Lola and the P-Bits were sent flying through the air from the blast, the scientist himself crashing against the heavy-duty glass that clearly showed the rapidly approaching Earth. His White Tiger suit was heavily damaged, his body charred, white hair stained with blood. Sparks popped off of some of the suit's exposed internals, the power armor engaging auto-hover following the impact.

"Boss! C'mon, we can't lose now!" Lola exclaimed, earning a pained grunt from Copen. "You've never given up, no matter the odds! We ain't about to lose to this guy, Copen!"

The scientist's eyes widened as he heard her words, glancing over at the Earth. Humanity would come to an end if he fell now. He had to keep going. He had to keep fighting. He had one last chance. If he was going down, it was going to be fighting an Adept, not a simian.

"You're right. It's all or nothing..." Copen muttered, clutching one of his injured arms. "You know what to do, Lola."

"Sure do!"

The P-Bits' usual orbit around Copen seemed to accelerate, Lola positioned above her creator as the P-Bits gained speed. Lola's A.S. Drive began to overload, generating more and more energy with each passing second. The P-Bits began flashed rainbow colors as they spun, Lola's power generator outputting more power than ever before. This was it. Humanity's last hope.

Fire, Heartblazer! Burn my foe to ash!

The P-Bits unleashed all of the accumulated energy in the form of a massive beam, Copen's ultimate attack aiming to completely decimate the area in a last ditch effort to annihilate Specter, a flash of light engulfing the interior of the tower.

His grand explosion left him with a psychic sphere around himself. While this was this case, he felt his psychic fatigue incoming. After using that seismic move, his psychic abilities become stifled for a time, making him unable to fire beams, blasts or dangerous attacks. So as Copen began to glow with more and more power, Specter grew nervous. Gunvolt had never been brought to the brink in the last tourney...so he had no idea what he was truly capable of.

In preparations, he took apart his psychic shield, turning it from a sphere into six octagonal plates. Since he had a window to prepare, he swerved all the octagonal plates toward his front facing, crouching as to lower his height and keep his form more compact. That's when it happened. Heartblazer.

The fiery blast roared as his blasted toward Specter, dousing the entire facing with raw power. The octagonal shields quickly shattered, one by one. He was on his final two when the ground he stood on began to melt from the heat, and by proxy, his black leather boots began to distort as well.

"Ngh....NGHAAAAA!!"

Specter fought with all his might to keep defending. But the flooring got so unstable that his entire side of the stage crumbled beneath him, a large swath of their Pilar crumbling, falling down the massive abyss below. Specter was no exception, his last psychic plate exploded in his face as he was sent in the opposite direction, being thrust down while briefly baking in the laser.

Specter's vision went black for a few moments.

"..."

"...eh...?"

His vision returned. And he was...floating? Box not floating. Rising. The laser was powerful. Too powerful. In fact, it was powerful enough to blast a clean hole right through the observatory, right into open space! He was about to get sucked into space!

•WARNING. HULL RUPTURE DETECTED. SOLAR SHIELDS DEPLOYING.

Specter flew up toward the opened section when suddenly, a massive steel blast door shut right behind him, snagging his charred cape. The interior pressurized once more, leaving the overlord dangling down by his cape.

"Tch...how pathetic...I almost lost." He cursed himself for being so sloppy. "Ngh...no matter."

He undid the collar of his cape, allowing him to fall from the disconnected piece of a fabric. He landed on the edge of the stage, his hand slipping from his own wet blood on the palm. Gripping the pillar's edge, he grunted, managing to hoist himself up. Where was Copen? Specter closed his eyes, allowing his body to process the damage he took whilst not stressing his psychic powers any more.

"You...human." Specter commented. "That was...quite a move...ngh! But...I had time to think during our engagement. Your philosophy hinges on the destruction of others. You exist to hate. I exist to liberate. We are not the same."

Specter managed to strength to stand up, pointing over to a ledge of the pillar.

"There. I want you to walk off this cliff. You know that the ambition you hold is inferior to mine. So do the correct thing and terminate yourself. You...ngh...! Are interfering far too much...and I will be frank, have burdened by body far more than I expected. Nevertheless, while my body is weak, my ambition is not. Ah I promise you, it WILL live on. Can you say the same?"

Copen

"Ngh...!"

Copen hung onto the damaged pillar's edge, the breach in the hull having briefly pulled him closer to the structure, preventing him from falling into the void below. Heartblazer was a powerful attack- one he only used in desperate situations, as redlining Lola's A.S. Drive temporarily burnt her out, in turn interrupting the wireless supply of power to Copen's suit. If it weren't for his Bullits acting as a supplementary power source, he'd be completely helpless. Lola and the P-Bits were reduced to their basic functions for the time being.

Managing to hoist himself back onto what was left of the pillar, the Adept Slayer listened to Specter's words regarding their ambitions.

"I don't... just exist to hate," Copen replied. "I fight to protect humanity from the monsters that endanger it, even if I am no better than the Adepts I destroy. Even if your ambition of liberation is greater than mine, it changes nothing." The scientist winced in pain, his right arm having suffered the most injuries compared to the rest of his body. "Besides, I must still honor my father's dying wish..."

Firmly rooted in his ideals, Copen took a step closer to Specter. "I will keep fighting..." He spoke, clenching his fists, taking another step.

"Until the day the last Adept falls."

"Heh...how sentimental." Specter shook his head with a smirk. "How about we make things interesting then? Before this weapon turns the earth's crust into a mangled apple, the first one to fall off the side of the pillar shall be the Victor. From the looks of it, theres much less pillar to work with anyway..."

Trying to ignore the pain, he closed his eyes, folding his shoulders back. Opening his eyes back again, this time determined, he rushed toward Copen with a semi limp, thrusting his left arm out toward him. Power ran low of lasers or projectiles, but he didn't need them. His hand made a sphere of purple energy. When it hit Copen, it would release concussive force to blow him back, and hopefully, off the pillar.

"So be it."

Copen entered a defensive stance as Specter approached, knowing neither of them had access to projectiles. He raised his heavily injured right arm to deflect the simian's psychic attack, feeling the concussive force spread throughout his body, sending him skidding backwards a slight distance, closer to the edge.

The Adept Slayer immediately retaliated with a Bullit Dash, blue flames emerging from his boots and the attachment on his back. He couldn't tag Specter without his gun, but that wouldn't be necessary. Lola commanded two of the P-Bits to fly to the other side of the pillar before attempting to ram into Specter from behind, Copen aiming to use the full force of his dash in the form of a shoulder bash. If the move was successful, Lola herself would fly over to Specter and ram into the simian to send him down into the void below.

"I've got both bark and bite!" Axe retorted to Merak, slowly beginning to step forward before he saw the wormhole take the punch. Swallowing any worries, he darted his eyes before he saw the bigger wormhole appear.

"Huh-?" He was confused for a moment before the larger fist appear, getting a yelp as he barely fixed his strong stance to even weaken the blow. Of course, one thing Merak hadn't, and probably couldn't have, accounted for was that the stronger attack? The stronger the red stone would be for him. Thanks to this, Axe, though his shield was damaged and he was pushed back, he managed to regain his footing against the mighty punch. "Ngh..." He groaned; even with that boost, sudden force like that hurt his arms. Still, he began to push, trying to push back, trying to give himself some breathing room before rolling to the side, running towards...A chicken.

Picking up this chicken, if possible, he began to line up his shot for a high throw, attempting to throw the chicken at Merak similar to how he'd done to Kohga in his last match and then running at Merak, lighting the firecracker on his boot but preparing it on hand for now.

Merak

"How the hell...?"

This kid was as strong as that Machamp guy! Axe took the giant punch head on, even managing to push back against it before rolling to the side. Then, he started running towards a chicken.

Huh?

Merak was very confused by the boy's decision, watching the chicken soar through the air in an arc towards him. He didn't know if this was a distraction, but he wasn't about to risk taking a hit from a chicken considering the kinds of things Axe could do. For all he knew, it could explode on contact! Retracting the mech's enlarged fist, Merak was quick to open a wormhole in the chicken's path, soon dropping it back in front of Axe. Hopefully it'd do something to him.

Axe smirked seeing the wormhole open to take the chicken and another to drop it in front.

Hah! Thanks, Chicken!

After mentally thanking the small animal for help, Axe threw the firecracker up into the wormhole - doing his best to hide that -, before making his next move; Attempting to grapple with the fist not used to attack before to try and drag it into that wormhole. Now, obviously, Axe knew that wouldn't happen, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Plus, it served as a distraction, As Axe sneakily laid his black stone on the fist as he made his attempts.

If this works, I can make him fight his own chair, and then I can win!
That had been Axe's direct thought process when making the plan, as Black Stones had the curious ability to turn beings into - admittedly very strong - monsters. Now, granted, he wasn't sure if it would work on the chair since...well, it was a chair, not something like a sheep. But it had worked on some bones in the past, so it was worth the try.

Turner
Interrupting his approach was a scattershot of rock and ice. That wasn't a problem, Turner simply hopped to the other side of the street. He continued the approach. He went for a zippy slash, not different from his previous strategy. A small hop came afterwards, which would follow Amaterasu any which way she may dodge, or not dodge. Once he was above her, he threw a kick down towards the canine's skull, then the middle of the back. From there, the freedom fighter twisted midair and threw out yet another slash towards her hindside before soaring out of melee range.

Specter

Specter lowered his frame, crouching he shot himself upwards at an diagonal angle to meet up with Copen's attack, butting head with him as they canceled out each other's momentum. The ape saw the P-bits fly off to assault him from behind. Watching their movements, he turned around, arching his body to the left, evading an attack whilst the second on hit him in the chest. Cringing, he slid back before he caught the bit in his hand. He put pressure on the P-bit, psychic energy radiating from it. While he couldn't make projectiles, he could fabricate one out of what he was given!

So as Lola emerged to hit him into the void, Specter smirked, looking toward her as his second eye peaked out of his blood damp curtains.

"One down."

That's when he threw the psychically powered P-Bit, aiming to slam into lola, and possibly keep going depending on her body's makeup.

Amaterasu
Obviously the ice and rock didn't deter Turner's advance. It did, however, give Amaterasu time. She remained still. Though she swapped her weapon to wield the Thunder Edge, it remained motionless.
Until her other swapped weapon, The Eighth Wonder, was fully charged. In the blink of an eye, it slashed upwards, arching over Amaterasu with immense power, speed, and range, in retaliation to Turner's advance.

Weavile
Well, his methods were unorthodox, but it worked out all the same. Weavile' bounced off her own slab, smoothly catching herself before seeing Leon. As Leon went for the retaliation, Weavile's eyes slit. As if possessed, she maneuvered around Leon's leg, sending out a darkness infused sucker punch to his face in a flash.

Copen

The psychically charged P-Bit smacked directly into Lola, the A.I. bouncing backwards from the impact, a noticeable dent on her body. A second attack soon followed, Copen getting in the way of the P-Bit before it could strike his companion, the machine striking his right shoulder, the human ignoring the pain.

"Bastard... You'll pay for that!" The scientist growled, spending another Bullit to deliver a lightning fast, rage fueled kick to the simian's body.

Merak

"Oh."

The chicken was a mere distraction, a firecracker being thrown through the wormhole he had used to redirect it. He was able to smack it to the side with one of the mech's hands, though not quick enough to avoid taking damage. The resulting blast damaged the hand even further, Merak feeling the heat radiating from the explosion. That was too close.

Meanwhile, Axe's attempts to send the other fist through the wormhole were unsuccessful, but he did manage to place the Black Stone on it. After a moment, a dark aura seemed to envelop the fist, the metal plating covering its exterior turning black in color. Without a moment's notice, it flew toward Merak himself, who barely had the time to leap off of the seat at the top, landing on the ground. The fist crashed into the seat, soon being grabbed by the other, non-corrupted hand.

"What in the world did you do?!" Merak questioned Axe, the Armed Chair struggling with itself. With some quick thinking, the Adept headed over to a nearby cannon before shoulder bashing it similarly to how Axe had activated one earlier, sending a cannonball flying towards the boy, no wormhole tricks this time.

Axe gave himself a slight fist pump seeing his plan with the black stone work, hopping back only to pause.

Wait...isn't it my whole job to stop things corrupted by those things?

Upon the realisation, Axe faltered, only to bring himself to reality hearing Merak's questioning.
"Good question! Uh... Make my job harder?" He answered with a slight rub to the back of his head before seeing Merak run to a cannon, sending the cannonball flying to him. Luckily for Axe, he knew it wouldn't work nearly as well without the Red Stone's power...or so he thought.
Turned out, maybe Host made that hazard a bit more equal, he realised as the cannonball came flying at him, forcing him to roll out the way. "Gr... Okay, let's see how you take this!" He charged the Slothful Conjuror, aiming for a quick slash with his pickaxe to the Adept's chest. "Bet you ain't so tough without that chair!"

Copen's kick impacted the simian's injured chest, sending them skirting back, his heels just barley over the edge. It was getting tighter and tighter. As he growled from the pain, the computer voice rang out once again.

WARNING: IMPACT TIME: 1 Minute

The outside soon cloaked in orange as it appeared the rocket propelled station was entering the atmosphere of the planet below. The kinetic impact to shatter the globe would soon follow. Time was short. Sixty seconds remained. That's all he would require.

"Flashy, but hollow words. I don't take words from mere humans that can't even tell right from wrong!"

Scooping up the handle of his now defunct cutlass, he flew to the side of Copen's, taking advantage of the shoulder injury they had from his blade, which would no doubt dull his reaction time. He then would bash his cutlass guard into said injury, psychically charging the guard of Saru made steel to shoot it right through his arm, aiming to sever it entirely!

Copen

"Guh!!"

Specter's supercharged weapon drew blood, Copen's right arm being severed from his body. Almost completely numb to the pain due to his injuries and the adrenaline coursing through him, the Adept Slayer immediately lunged at Specter, his remaining arm reaching for his neck while the simian was still within range and in the middle of his attack's follow-through.

"And we won't lose to a power-crazed simian like you!"

Despite the damage she'd taken, Lola threw herself right back into the action, aiming to encase the cutlass guard in her Capture Field once she got close to remove it from the simian's hands. Regardless of the result, Copen would attempt to brutally slam Specter into the pillar, the maneuver aided by his thrusters, his crimson eyes locked onto the simian's own, glaring daggers at him. If this worked? He'd use his third Bullit to deliver a rocket-powered kick and punt him off of the pillar!

Merak

The Adept wasn't quite fast enough to move out of the pickaxe's way, the weapon slashing against his dark blue armor, leaving a very noticeable mark across it. Thank goodness Sumeragi made those real durable. Merak leapt backwards following Axe's attack, glancing over at the Armed Chair, the mech still attempting to fight back against its corrupted hand, mainly struggling due to the non-corrupted hand being the more damaged one.

Noticing a possible opportunity, Merak opened a wormhole in the mech's way, the Armed Chair flying into it. It soon emerged from a wormhole to Axe's left, the mech flying at the boy at surprising speeds, aiming to ram into him while at the same time having the corrupted hand take the impact of the collision, hopefully damaging the hand or removing the Black Stone's effects somehow.

"!" Axe heard the wormhole on his left opening, quickly turning to see the Armed Chair flying at him, ramming into him while the corrupted side took the impact for it, causing Axe to grunt and fall forward, the black stone beginning to slide off the arm ever so slowly as the hand was damaged ever so slightly...
Meanwhile, Axe, not seeing this, turned back to Merak after getting up and assuming the chair would go back to fighting itself. "Cheap shot." He accused, throwing his shield right at Merak with all his force. after extending out the pickaxe end out as far as possible.

Hopefully that chair's...situation, won't cause me problems...!
Unbeknownst to Axe, the Black Stone had stopped sliding off, and almost seemed to sink into it, as if trying to fuse with the Armed Chair, like it would for a living creature or a pile of bones!

The ape soon found himself sparce for breath as Copen's hands found their way around his neck. He wasn't stopped by his arm's removal? The tenacity in this boy...

He wouldn't be able to throw him off simply by making a psychic pulse. Instead, he waited, waiting for his psychic energy to pile up enough. So as Lola attempted to pry the weapon from his hands, after a tug or two, he relented, slamming to the ground from Copen's lunge. He coughed up blood as the wind was knocked out of him. His smaller frame was significantly weaker than Copen's without blades or further psychic support.

Specter's power accumulated. So as Copen had his hand around Specter's neck, Specter had braced his hand against their chest. With a sudden influx of psychic power accumulated on this hand-

*SLASH!!*

Psychic claws projected from his fingertips. He would slash up, disemboweling Copen all the way up to his neck. This move, if it would land, would gut and snuff out the life of this adept killer once and for all.

Copen

Given his suit's lack of functional sensors due to the lack of power being received from the A.S. Drive, Copen could not tell what Specter was planning. He was about to deliver the finishing blow when-

"Copen!!"

The simian's attack emerged from his fingertips, his claws meeting metal, when Specter's finishing blow was knocked off course. Next to the fighters, a small, round object fell with a clank. It was split in two, revealing the circuitry inside, a miniature power generator, and a series of minuscule, pink shards that had been installed within.

Copen's eyes widened at this sight, his heart skipping a beat. Time slowed to a crawl as he took it in. Lola was the only one who was remotely aware of the simian's intentions, her sensors part of her basic functions. As such, she'd taken the blow for her creator, keeping him in the fight. But at what cost...?

Lola...!

The Adept Slayer shed a single tear upon losing his partner, feeling the rage within him grow to a degree the likes of which he'd never experienced before. With a boost to his strength akin to the one people received in a life or death situation, Copen aimed to follow through with his plan, spending his third Bullit in the form of a powerful kick filled with rage and grief in an attempt to finish Specter off.

Merak

"Hey, you're the one who got my mech all messed up!" Merak shot back. A shield was soon flung his way, the Adept summoning a wormhole to redirect it elsewhere, the shield landing a slight distance from both fighters. Ordinarily, he'd have transported it to his own position for his personal use or launched it right back at Axe, but focusing on both fighting Axe and controlling his mech at the same time was proving difficult for him. He needed to get rid of whatever caused it to go wild.

A series of missiles were fired at the shoulder-like portion of the mech closest to the corrupted hand, Merak commanding the non-corrupted part of his mech to blast the corrupted part into submission. With any luck, it would completely destroy whatever was the source of this corruption, freeing the mech from the Black Stone's influence.

Specter

He detected the hesitation in Copen's lower body, right as Lola interrupted his attack, knocking his energy claw to the side, not before her machine parts scattered across the floor. Copen's rage bubbled. Specter analyzed this anger. This primitive yet powerful emotion. Copen was aiming to kill. Now.

Specter could not underestimate him. Judging from how Copen was moving before, he had aimed to kick him. His lower body. He had to make a choice. How bad did he want to win?

*SLASH!*

....

"AAAAAAAGHHHHH!!!!"

Specter had carved a hole right through his right hip with his own claw! The hole bled like a waterfall before Copen impacted his kick. The kick shot directly through the hole, missing Specter due to him tearing his own body apart! This. This was the calculation of a cold blooded genius.

"...! We are different...human...!"

He slide down further due to Copen's kick, sliding across to his knee from his gaping wound.

"NGH! I do whatever it takes to WIN!!!"

With Copen's leg immobilized, his other leg keeping Copen standing, one arm missing, and the other pinning him, Copen had no more limbs, no more P-Bits, no more Lola. This was the end. Specter slashed with the last of his dwindling psychic power, swiping to decapitate Copen right then and there!

Copen

No...!

In an unprecedented turn of events, Specter had carved a hole through his right hip, absorbing Copen's blow and keeping Specter alive. They were about to strike Earth now. Copen glanced at what remained of his partner, his furious expression morphing into one of sadness. He'd lost it all. His father, his sister, his companion. Everyone he cared for was gone. Now was his time to meet all those he'd slain in hell.

Lola, Mytyl, Father... I'm sorry.

Those were the Adept Slayer's final thoughts before Specter's psychic blade cleaved through his neck, the human's head rolling along the ground, coming to a stop next to Lola's split body, a pool of blood forming along the ground.

  • The Winner: Specter!
  • The Loser: Copen!

"..."

There lie the body of Copen. Once full of vigorous anger, youth used for butchering. Now, he was still against the steel ground.

WARNING: IMPACT IN 3...

...2...

...1...

The earth was seen Crumpling under the direct forces of the megastructure weapon, the crust folding like paper as the glass shattered for the installation. Specter didn't look at the explosion as he continued to look down at Copen's body. Soon enough, the simulation glitched out, pixelating before vanishing altogether, leaving him in his blank wireframe hub, an archway exit appearing.

Copen's body remained on the floor, not cleaned up yet it seemed. He fought hard, despite how wrong and weak his ambitions were. He had power, refused to use it properly, yet...something is missing. Something I cannot determine.

He looked at the ground, seeing the parts of Lola scattered across it. Using his psychic powers as his wounds gradually healed, he winced as he put the parts in an ordered fashion in his palm. Looking at it up and down, he walked thoughtfully over to the archway

...But maybe she can.

Rebooting...

The Combat Pod's previously blank eyes lit up as Specter walked through the archway, being brought back to the lobby. Her visual sensors slowly came back online, the A.I. being momentarily blinded by the bright light emanating from the archway.

What happened...? I'm pretty sure I died back there. If I'm still kickin', then that must mean...

"Copen... did we win?" Lola spoke somewhat groggily as her systems fully initialized, the robot looking up at the one holding her. It was not Copen, the one she cared for... but Specter, the simian they were fighting moments ago.

"Gya! Specter?!" Lola exclaimed, breaking free of his grasp, floating a decent distance from him. "What's going on?! And where the heck is Boss!?"

Alexios, Champion of the Kosmos, DEIMOS

The drill drove into Deimos' fist. Mangled flesh, blood, and blood went flying as the collision cut one another off, momentum canceling out. With a shout, or rather a roar, Alexios reeled back his shattered hand to bring his other forward to strike a blow against the now-near Rebellio. "Little spikes won't best me!" he laughed, his eyes wild and manic despite his gore falling from his mangled fist.

Revan, the Prodigal Knight

Ah, there it is.

He'd been awaiting the Regigigas, and alas it arrived, a burst of light signifying its emergence, and its arm waving forward to try and shatter the stone beneath Revan's feet before it would submit to the empty depths beneath them. Revan was already in action, leaping into the air, rising high over, before thrusting out an arm, twisting his wrist, curling his fingers.

The entire floor was quick to suddenly give way, thrusting much upon the falling Regigigas, while also forcibly throwing Hareta into the dark abyss below. The secret archives of the Jedi. A torrent of spectral residue permeated from Revan in heavy waves, increasingly rapidly, before he shot down like a speeding missile, his blade thrust before him, and the speed at which he moved seemed to envelop him in his saber's violet light. He was nothing more than a deadly, purple comet, speeding toward the falling Regigigas, intending on impaling it as well as increasing its fall tenfold to crush it into the ground, the energy enveloping Revan making it next to impossible to successfully grasp him in return in this form.

Machamp
Machamp’s signature grin faltered at Psyduck’s insult.

“Machamp, champ ma?! (What’d you say to me, you little punk?!)”

The massive wave of water that Psyduck summoned was rather surprising considering the duck’s small size. Thinking fast, Machamp tore up a light pole from the ground and ran back a bit. He then ran forward, before pole-vaulting over the wave using the light pole. The crowd gasped and cheered when Machamp landed. The Pokémon grinned before looking over towards Psyduck, who spat a Hydro Pump towards him. Machamp tore up a chunk of concrete and held it in front of him. The concrete are they hydro pump, but was completely soaked and destroyed afterwards. “Machamp, champ…. (Right, rock’s weak to water…)”

Psyduck was waddling away fast, heading straight for the park in the distance. Machamp didn’t like that plan. The brute sprinted towards the inelegant duck, catching up quickly. Machamp quickly tried to bitch slap Psyduck with one of his pairs of arms, trying to knock him into a wall.

Metal Sonic
The droid rolled his shoulders and adjusted his ocular sensors after the upload was complete. His schematics had been successfully uploaded into the chip.

After Specter went off to fight, Metal flew over to the archway he saw his opponent go into moments ago.

Metal didn’t waste any time, quickly choosing his map.

The two were transported to a beautiful grassy area. Loop-de-loops were all around and Tess were plentiful. The calming sound of waterfalls could be heard in the distance, coming from a large cavern nearby.

Green Hill Zone.

Metal turned his head towards Dark Matter, and made a taunting “bring it on” motion with his hand.

Jevil
Jevil lost. How about that. In truth, the jester didn’t care too much, he had his fun. However, the fun evidently wasn’t over yet. The darkener found his name in a “loser’s bracket”. It seemed Jevil was going up against Death itself. The clown wasn’t afraid, he had outplayed death before! After all, this body could not be killed!

The jester followed the grim reaper into an archway. He selected his map, and the two were transported to their map.

The two found themselves in a large field covered in pink grass, a forest with trees of a similar color nearby. There was also an entrance to a large, seemingly supernatural cave nearby (Death’s map). Jevil looked at Death with a grin, giving him the first move.

"I'm afraid my dear that Copen is no longer with us."

Specter spoke to Lola, glancing back at the roster and archway briefly before turning his site back the the A.I. before him.

"Seems we were the first ones out. So we have time." He spoke, changing the tone. "While I do not regret snuffing the life of your master, my curiosity isn't satiated. There is something pinging around in my brain. Copen. What made him act in such manner? Truly it would take something substantial to influence his thought process in such a fashion. Have data on that?"

Having saved Lola from oblivion from the Host's hands, Specter figured she would realize that fact and be less stubborn with the release of the needed information.
