Robobot Armor
The mech managed to knock the spartan off, but it's AI noted another problem as it did so. Catching wind of the plasma grenade, the bot attempted to reach for it, but failed to grab it in time.
The bomb burst inside the cockpit, causing the robot to shudder, it's eyes blinking repeatedly before it caught itself.
Yeah, that left a mark.
However, the bot remained standing. Once again it's maw opened, scanning Chief and the weapon he held.
In an instant, Chief's shots were stopped cold by the armor's own. Now in Spark Mode, the lightning blue armor fired electric bullets out of it's coil like attachments, now locked in another bullet hell with the spartan.

Dark Matter
Fire and Lightning razed over Dark Matter. Or well, it almost did. Despite Yuga's efforts, the projections absorbed the flames and lightning handily as Dark Matter flew backwards, managing to keep out of range of the trident.
"My turn" it hissed.
Just like that, all the fire and lighting that Yuga released came back out of the projections, sending two condensed blasts of energy towards Yuga. Should he evade, the projections would apparate and redirect the energy back towards Yuga repeatedly.

Weavile
Though it was more of a coin toss, the Dark-Ice type's plan worked. Chun-Li suddenly seemed to flinch, feeling the poison Weavile managed to force into her system. The venom distracted her enough for the icicle to...well..crash onto her, causing the fighter to grasp it with a shriek of pain.
Now was her chance! Weavile seized her opportunity, a sinister glint in her eye sparked as she leapt at Chun-Li. and with a swipe of her deadly claws...well...let's say the Sandshrew she hunted got off easy.

Winner: Weavile!
Loser:Chun-Li

Master Chief Petty Officer, John S-117

A burst of energy enveloped the automaton briefly, white and blue light flashing violently through the air. A few extra bursts of plasma fire landed, before they started to match against others, charged energy humming from the projectiles. John responded by simply tossing the overheated plasma rifle to the side. The robot had shifted forms again, now colored a teal, with seemingly four arms. Two appeared like tesla coils, and the two on top seemed to be standard limbs.

"Looks like it fires plasma," Kalmiya noted to the Spartan.

"Good. We know what to expect," John replied, lifting his arm to grapple skyward by the arch extending over them, lifting off the ground with a rush to escape the hail of plasma as his other hand yanked out a small device, which he promptly tossed below him toward the android's position as the hook returned to ready-status as Chief soared overhead, retracting his grapple.

The device was a Dynamo Grenade, and as it left Chief's fingers, powerful bursts of draining electricity began to vibrantly arc from it, extending ten to fifteen feet in every direction around it, aiming to weaken and drain the Spartan's opponent, possibly disable a few functions while at it.

Master Chief slammed into the metal of the Forerunner structure, skidding to a sudden halt as he conjured his MA40 Assault Rifle and began to open fire on the assumed distracted and weakening Robobot.

Bugs

With a chipper sound and what sounded like a countdown, the bugs soon jumped again, the large mound of critters sending the rock upwards with The Knight, sending it upwards to the cold top of the mountain.

Audrey

Upon arrival, the cold became more and more apparent, as did the wind. There was also a not very far away scent of heat from past a cliff. Audrey Redheart, sword in hand, hopped back in shock seeing Shroom appear.

"Seriously?! Urgh, just die already!" She began to charge Shroom, with an overhead swing down.

Axe

"I'm a brat? Come on, that can't smell much worse than you- oh, oh, ew, yeah, fair enough." Axe snarkily said, mockingly covering his nose. Suddenly, the tentacles began to fly about, smashing everything in sight.

Before Axe could even plan, one tentacle slammed right into his side, sending the boy flying to the side.
"Yahhhhh!" He yelled out in pain, slowly getting up after being knocked a fair distance away. "Ow...ow..." he groaned, trying to focus.

Tentacles...what can I do to stop so many so quick?
Aha! That's it!

Axe began to dash forward away, using his smaller frame to barely dodge a tentacle that surely would've crushed him, slapping it with his shield to temporarily stun it, before moving his red stone to his non-shielded hand to power his own strength up a little, pushing the tentacle just enough before he saw another swiping. He smirked. Just before it came to him, he grabbed the tentacle and used all his might to lift it up just enough for the tentacle to slid under! It hit Axe, but this time, he was able to use his shield to lessen the impact. His final move? Use this chance to try and tangle the two he had just messed with into a knot! ...if he could figure out a knot again.

Yuga

"What-" Yuga was surprised, to say the least, over the easily stopped attacks. He tried to raise a forcefield, but energy blasts hit handily, knocking Yuga back and stunning him.

Calmaramon

Calmaramon scrubbed her face with her black ink, trying to remove the monster perfume while she continued thrashing about. Unbeknownst to her, Axe took advantage of this confusion, weaving between her tentacles after his initial slip up. And right before she was to smash right where she felt him before-

She tripped up on her own tentacles, that were roughly tied together loosely, but enough to stop them from reaching their desired target. She tumbled on herself, falling down stomach first to the ground, causing it to shake. Her nails dug into the floor as she pushed her head up, her makeup running down her face.

"RAAAA! I'VE JUST HAD ENOUGH IF YOU FANBOY!" She howled. "DEAR OL' CALMARAMON WILL TURN YA TO RED MIST!"

He recalled her humanoid shape within the squid casing, the squid form flopping over so that the tentacles were now on the underside, the yellow eyes darting back and forth from the lower segment. The tentacles, now free of their mind rushed right toward Axe, bringing the squid to crawl toward them. She would make one clubbed tentacle smack down on her while the second swooped to the left.

The Knight

Audrey's overhead swing was quick, but the Knight had an answer for it. The bug's body was enveloped in shadow just before the blade made contact, Shroom dashing through Audrey thanks to its Shade Cloak, popping out of the other side unharmed. With that done, the Vessel would unleash the Nail Art it had prepared beforehand, spinning around incredibly quickly with its nail out, the bug's powerful Cyclone Slash threatening to deal heavy damage to the Hero.

Robobot Armor
The mech fired energy ball after energy ball, until it saw Chief pull out some sort of device. As it fell, the armor's shots were being absorbed by it, prompting the mech to change tactics.
And so it did.
It's arm changed back to normal, with it's left one taking the appearance of a large wrench of sorts. Before the grenade could land, the armor smacked it in a different direction, sending it off before it could land.
However, something strange happened. The armor's electricity was sapped. However, instead of weakening the mech, it's specs were forcibly reset, resulting in it dropping its mode and leaving a bouncing ability star. The armor appeared undeterred, grabbing the star with it's normal hand before it turned it's focus back to Chief. It spun it's right arm around and enlarged the drill on it. It spun the drill in front of itself, and it's thrusters ignited as it dashed towards Chief, the spinning screwdriver/drill hybrid deflecting the bullets in all directions.

Dark Matter
Hmph, it appeared this one couldn't handle his own strength. Pathetic
Dark Matter seemingly began to lie in midair, leaning back until all Yuga could see would be his bottom section. That is, until said section suddenly enlarged and opened into two massive, gaping maws over a massive eyeball, which promptly flew directly at Yuga, crunching all the way.

Audrey

The blade sank into the ground, as The Knight avoided it.
"Woah!" Audrey was surprised as the Cyclone Slash caught her off-guard, sending her stumbling away and in pain on her spine. "Gr..." She grit her teeth, Summoning a stream of electricity into her blade before charging once again, aiming for a group of three slashes, the last aimed to send lightning right into The Knight's chest.

Axe

"Another transformation!? Seriously, even Torren wasn't this bad..." Axe mumbled as Calmaramon retracted her human part into a casing. He raised his shield as he saw the Squid approaching, only to barely raise his shield to stop the tentacle smacking down on him. Of course, this left him very wide open, as the boy hero was soon slapped to the side by another tentacle, sending Axe flying away.

Soon, Axe landed, right next a barrel and some sheep who ran away in shock.
"Urgh..." He groaned, taking stock of his situation. Calmaramon wasn't actually too far away, and could probably get to him quick to attack again, there was an barrel next to him. ...An explosive barrel.
Oh boy, that gave Axe an idea. He stretched out his pickaxe, and began to wait for Calmaramon.

Yuga

The rapid crunching and chomping from Dark Matter's new form soon snapped Yuga out of his stunned state.
"You...a Monster!" He laughed, insanity in his mind as he quickly rose a forcefield, attempting to hold his foe back. "And to think, I thought you beautiful enough for a frame! Nothing but a simple rat!" He denounced his foe, attempting to blast lightning/energy right into his foes massive eyeball.

The sea with laughed maniacally inside her octopus casing, the body being far more durable than her more feminine humanoid form.

"AHA! WHATS WRONG DEAREH?! GOT A BRUISE?! WHY DON'T YOU LET SWEET CALMARAMON TAKE CARE OF IT!"

The beast caught up the Axe in a hurry, aiming to mow him over with an onslaught of dove tentacles all on his spot.

Axe

"Shut it already, beastie!" Axe said back. "You fell into my trap...!" He muttered, sounding somewhat like a protagonist in an anime acting overly smart. "Real winners don't hide behind a shell! Or beauties!" He added, hoping to rill her up as he braced himself.
As soon as Calmaramon began her attack, Axe hooked the pickaxe around the explosive barrel, launching it up towards Calmaramon. Then, he swung with his might, causing a huge explosion from the barrel, which was already filled with all sorts of explosive materials combined with the flames of Axe's pickaxe, between the two, causing a yelp from Axe as he was forced to move back after taking some of the blast, coughing and comically covered in soot from the explosion.

"Hah! H-how'd you like that, jerk!" He stuttered and coughed as he looked back into the explosion, confident it did some good damage at the very least.

*BOOM!*

The explosion connected with Calmaramon's sturdy outer casing, orange flames flying everywhere. The beastly body was blown back a few feet as the body staggered off balanced. It toppled to the side as Calamaramon's humanoid form came back from the inside, coughing and hissing.

"EXPLOSIVES?!? OUT MY SHELL?!?" She yelled over to him, furious. "...I'LL BE OUT KF MY SHELL, BUT YOU THINK THAT WOODEN BOX WAS POWER SUGAH?! I'LL SHOW YA POWER!!"

Calamaramon, as damaged as she was with the big scorch mark on her outer form, she uprighted herself, taking on the plot Axe set. Her two front smashing tendrils smashed the ground sending her up into the air. That's when her body contorted and twisted, before spinning like a drill.

"TITANIC TEMPEST!!"

The strongest attack she had was now in play, so she came crashing down right toward her foe, aiming to not only skewer them, but destroy the very ground they stood on!

Axe

"Still standing...? How...? Nevermind, I need to focus- Uh oh." Axe stopped talking to himself soon after Calmaramon began her strongest attack.

Cmon, cmon, there's gotta be a way outta this! Oh, she's right in front of me, if this hits me I'll die!

Once again, Axe's panicked thoughts began to activate the Green Stone again, though he didn't realise, and in that time, he began the last resort; lightning a firecracker to try and counter. Unfortunately for Axe, the Green Stone didn't pick up on this and took it with him.

*CRASH!*
*VRRRRRR!*

The sounds of Titanic Tempest worked its wonder as the ground where Axe was stood was completely gone, and Axe gone from sight, seemingly killed from Calmaramon's perspective. In reality, Axe had been transported a small distance away, but the firecracker soon set of.
"Huh-??" Before Axe could think to throw it, the firecracker blew up, sending the boy flying away, crashing into a nearby cannon, stunned and dazed. At least he avoided Titanic Tempest, and hopefully Calmaramon thought he was dead (At least, Axe hoped she couldn't do that again if she did realise.).

The witch of the sea's mad laughter rang out as she drilled several feet down into the ground, pulverizing it as dust flew everywhere. Yes! Axe was finally dead! She was overjoyed as she obliterated her 'foe', leaving only one more. Looking up at the masked man above her, she changed directions of the titanic tempest, sending it whirling up to drill him to pieces as well!

"SAY GOODBYE CREEEEEP!!"

"What was that?"

The Spartan's grizzled words emanated from his lips behind the molten visor, concealed eyes glaring at the star.

"In a word? New," Kalmiya answered. "I'm not entirely certain, but I think it's what gives it its power? Don't quote me on that, but you did see how its form reverted after we shocked that thing out of it, right?"

He had noticed that, but the emotionless automaton gave little room for reaction as it began to drill an arm, clearly intent on driving it into the Spartan, who slid his rifle on his back in a quick, fluid movement. Much like when he'd been on its back, the android was utilizing the dull-ish drill bits that made up its shoulders, arms flipped to the other side of itself to try and ram the soldier. Almost like a computer, John processed the scene unfolding before him almost as though it were in slow motion, isolating different approaches he could take. Grapple over it? Maybe, though it had shown signs of learning, and that simple trick could only prove effective for so long. Use his thruster to evade and engage temporary active camouflage? It hadn't been able to detect him before, so that was perfectly viable. Of course, there was always option three...

Bursting forth, Master Chief launched himself forward with inhuman speed, noting the dimensions of his opponent, the way that it had a blind spot, left available. Using his own weight and force, Chief matched the mech head-on, ramming against its body with his own. A bit crude, but he was willing to play the short-range game or the long-range game regardless of how the automaton fought. Chief had slid between the drills to clash against the Robobot, yet his intention was not to bring it to a full stop. Instead, the Spartan used the momentum to attempt to grasp the mech, and use its own weight and inertia to attempt an awkward, somewhat clumsy side-long suplex, using his arms to swing it about to crash into the ground.

Psyduck, Guardian of Route 3
Leon's counterattack was successful, the first bullet hitting Psyduck square in the forehead. This pushed The Duck's headache over the edge.

The second bullet slowed and disintegrated into bright magenta particles before even touching him, and his eyes began to shine a bright light as an angry energy aura ignited around him. Gravity seemed heavy one moment, then light the next, the psychic energy emanating from the usually chatty football acting upon the entire vicinity.

Then... came the explosion.

A wave of magenta energy blasted out from the Pokémon's skull, expanding to envelop the entire roof, plus a couple floors below. The wave tore apart all stone and steel alike. Anything living caught in this blast wouldn't be having a good time, that's for certain.

Turner, Rampaging Freedom Fighter

A shadow washed over Turner, indicating that he should move, and fast. So he did so, diving out of the way. Before he could manage to regroup, another attack came in the form of lightning. The electricity arced across the rabbit, but didn't seem to do as much damage as Revan may have anticipated, especially considering the fragility of the freedom fighter. Upon the end of the blast, he looked back into the human's eyes. It was clear to both of them that the rabbit couldn't take much more punishment, but that didn't make him less of a threat. With singed fur, he charged the grey jedi yet again. He opened with a thrust, and then a sweeping kick aimed at the side of his foe's knee. After that, he'd continue attacking with his blade. He was however, conscious of the damage the lightsabers did to his own weapon, and so he was more prepared to dodge attacks than block them.

Punk, Certified Silly Goose
Rebellio's push was successful, throwing Punk off balance as a large spike sped towards him. Then, time began to slow- screeching almost to a halt.

SHOWDOWN!

The Punk's knee struck the underside of the spike with blurring speed, launching it into the ceiling instead. Outside, the weather changed to match the climatic nature of the Showdown. The fog was no more, making way for a beautifully starry night sky that melted into the glittering yellow city lights on the horizon. Truly a beautiful sight to anyone not fighting for their life.

Anyways, this effect also made Punk much faster, as shown by his reaction to the last attack. The delinquent then leapt through the air, twisting sideways and then spinning. This made him essentially a supersonic bludgeoning buzzsaw, headed right for the Falcon.

Master Kohga, Champion of Dadbods

"Gah!"

The sea witch turning on Kohga sure surprised him, he had just let his guard down. In a desperate attempt to save his skin, the blue energy shield came up again. However, this was to no avail, as Titanic Tempest shredded right through it! Calamaramon scored a huge hit on Kohga, launching him twirling into the air, and then down into the ground. As he lay there on his back, the nasty mark on his torso was made evident. "Ugh, I like the smaller version better."

The Top Banana slowly got up, wincing from the wound. "You're pretty good for a couple of ugly losers, I guess I need backup before I get peeled like a banana!"

"Yiga Clan, assemble!"

A dozen different Yiga Footsoldiers appeared behind their master, who barked an order, "Spartacus Maneuver, a-go!" Then, each Footsoldier poofed again, and when the smoke cleared, thirteen Master Kohgas stood tall! In his arrogance, the primary Kohga took out a single banana and ate it. "How d'ya like them bananas?"

On cue, all of them teleported to random areas of the map and began to run around. One, which appeared right above Axe, came down to attack the boy with a vicious-looking sickle!

"GUHAHAHA!"

She cackled fanatically as she landing a harsh blow on Kohga with her strongest move. Right as she smashed into him, her spin began to slow down. Dropping from the sky onto the ground nearby him, she gave him a threatening glare alongside her lipstick wearing snicker.

"THIS NEW BOD AINT BAD, IS IT SUG-AH?!" She flaunted, striking a pose with her humanoid half. "BE THANKFUL THAT HOU GET TO SEE IT!"

While she was busy boasting Kohga, already enacted his plan, splitting into several versions of himself as he hide amongst his copies.

"EHH?? CUT THAT OUT! ACID INK! BELUGH! BLERRUGH! BLUUUUUERREREGH!!"

She spat acid ink in spurts from her mouth, hitting clone after clone, their bodies dying in agony before puffing into smoke. 1...2...3...4... about five of them were killed with these attacks. As she swerved her body around, she puffed up her stomach large and grotesquely before she vomited a thick sheet of the acid, aiming to take out many in a big swoop!

Axe

"Ngh...huh!?" Axe, still somewhat dazed, stumbled around before quickly slapping himself awake. He then heard something that sounded like a crazy attacker or Kohga.
He looked up, spotting what looked like Kohga dropping to attack him. With a yell, he quickly dodged to the side, the sickle slashing into the ground.

He's still fighting too!?

Axe's surprise quickly made way as he stabbed his pickaxe into the ground with sudden velocity from sticking the pickaxe out. Not a second later, flames erupted from the ground, heading straight for the clone!

Rebellio

Woah, he’s fast!

Punk was moving faster than ever before, launching the Falcon’s spike into the ceiling before leaping and spinning towards him incredibly quickly.

Rebellio had no choice but to block the attack with his scythe, feeling the impact course throughout his body. More of his thread flowed from his arms into the weapon, granting it extra durability while Punk tried to whittle it down- and whittle it down he did, the crimson weapon eventually snapping in half, the delinquent’s outstretched leg striking Rebellio square in the face, causing a gash across it and launching the Adept out of the back of the train.

He was able to launch thread from his arm to latch onto the top of the train, the Adept dangling in the wind. Punk was pulling out all the stops, so he had to do so as well!

The strings of fate that bind us together lead to the same end, in a sea of red!

“Crimson-Death-Thread!”

Rebellio vanished, his crimson string scattering everywhere. After a moment, a thin flashing line appeared throughout the area Punk stood on, aimed right for his current location. After another moment, a crimson string struck like a bullet, aiming to ensnare Punk at the slightest contact. Two more would follow up soon afterwards. Then three more. It was one wave after another heading straight for Punk. Should he become fully trapped by the Adept’s crimson web, Rebellio himself would reappear before stabbing through the delinquent like a massive drill. Literally.

The Knight

Audrey did not let up, quickly retaliating with several quick slashes, the bug deflecting the first one with its nail, the second slash slicing through the tip of one of its mask’s horns, before the third one came in, charged with lightning. Not good.

With the Shadow Dash still on cooldown for the moment, Shroom had no way to avoid this one. Instead, it unleashed an Abyss Shriek upwards, a blast of SOUL and shadow that covered a large area above the Knight. Hopefully enough to deflect the blade before the lightning could strike the bug. If this didn’t work… things would not be looking too good for Shroom.

Punk Punk
The red line was a dead giveaway, and Punk sidestepped the following string with a bored expression. Another came, and Punk dodged that one. Then another. And another. Then, Punk smacked one with his bat, only for the weapon to be ensnared itself. He let go and jumped away, from another thread, but they were getting faster all the time, and one eventually caught him midair.
The delinquet was caught in Rebellio's web, and the Falcon swooped down to claim its prey. Punk wasn't ready to die yet- he spun yet again, unraveling his stringy prison...., but couldn't do anything before Rebellio drilled into his gut.
Rebellio's attack went through the length of the train, painting the entire inside red with Punk's blood. When it stopped at the first car, the Roof Rager crumpled to the ground.
But, through sheer will, the Punk shakily stood.
Most of his blood was either painted throughout the train or pooling below him, but that wasn't important to him right now. Right now, he needed to take down his foe before his body failed him.

He balled his fist and stepped towards the Falcon.

Punk hadn't exactly survived worse than this, but it's not like he couldn't try. He just needed the time and he could take down his foe...

This was the last thought running through his head as his vision went black, and the corpse of the roof rager crumpled to the ground.

Vicotory: Rebellio!

The Yiga Clan!
Axe's flames reached out for the one who appeared as Kohga, who was already hopping backwards. The scarlet energy was barely able to lick the Yiga before he disappeared.

On Calamaramon's side of things, most Yiga members were smart enough to poof before getting melted by a tidal wave of ick, but the few that were caught off guard suffered a gruesome fate.
All of those that escaped relocated to the cliff that oversaw the battlefield in a singular line. The ninjas used their arms to draw a circle around them, a red energy filling that outline complete with important-looking runes. Then, all of them disappeared simultaneously.
The Yiga reappeared in the airspace all around the top half of Calamaramon, soaring towards the witch from all directions with gleaming blades. If any of these should hit, the use of the spell would've been clear: it was a strength technique that multiplied the strength of each assailant for one attack!

Her amusement at melting these poor saps was short lived, as within seconds, she was subject to a surprise attack on all facings. Her tentacles went up defensively as she darted back and forth with her head.

"WHAT?!?"

*Shink!* *Tink!* *Shank!*

Blade after blade impacted as she attempted to stop them, gashes one after another penetrating the outer husk of her dense shell, large cuts forming. Others along tentacles, even cutting off two of the smaller ones. She bowled at them, her anger seething...along something else.

"EUAAAAAGH! BURN IN HEEEEEELL! BLEEEEURGH!"

A black mist erupted from her mouth, the thick ebony cloud quickly swamping up around her, the Yiga clan members already too close to her by the time it expanded. Screams were heard all throughout the stage before they were suddenly silenced. As the mist cloud began to disperse, puddles of flesh and fluid remained of what was once assilants.

Leon S. Kennedy
"What the hell is that," Leon muttered as a burst of fuchsia energy pulsated from Psyduck's skull, his own bullet literally disintegrating there. The shifting of gravity accompanying this, it wasn't hard for the agent to deduce this as psychic, or even temporal energy, and it was heralding something else, easily determinable by the duck's wide and rolling eyes.

He turned heel and broke into a sprint, glancing over his shoulder in time to see the culmination of the water fowl's power as it surged outward, leveling the top of the roof. He didn't have a lot of options here, it was jump and die or stand there and die, so as he reached the edge of the infrastructure, Leon leapt, pushing away from the building.

The wave of magenta reached him, momentarily engulfing him, before a kinetic weight shoved Leon through the air with great force. With a shout, Leon was launched through the air, body smoldering. He tucked himself tightly into a ball, and through some stroke of luck, he was blasted through the window of a separate building, glass shattering on impact, leaving Leon to roll across the floor, positioning himself to roll along his arms, allowing him to lessen the damage of his rough landing.

For a moment, Leon laid there, staring up at the ceiling. "Ugh," he groaned. "Getting my ass kicked by a bright yellow duck, not how I saw my career going."

Pushing himself up, the agent looked down at his outfit to find much of it had been burned, several holes especially prevalent through his leather jacket. Slipping it off, Leon returned to his feet and limped toward the broken window, glancing outside. Quite suddenly, a zombie lunged at him from the darkness surrounding him, but Leon covered its face with his ruined jacket and tossed the undead entity out of the window. Pretty far fall... fortunately, that under-construction building hadn't been the only tall thing around.

Revan
With one swipe of his double-ended lightsaber, the gray Jedi deflected the initial strike, while positioning the other end of his blade to receive Turner's kick (possibly a devastating blow to the Hare's mobility, since kicking a lightsaber isn't considered the safest thing). After a few initial strikes, Revan caught quickly onto Turner's cagey turn, focusing on evasion and defense, so after a few moments of Turner focusing on dodging over clashing their blades, Revan split both his sabers, shifting forms once more into Form IV- the form focused on speed and proficiency. For every dodge and evade Turner made, he was met immediately by Revan, who didn't allow the Hare even a millisecond of breathing room, matching him step for step. Every time he tried to escape--there was the gray Jedi, slashing his blades through the air, showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, he only seemed to be speeding up...

Jevil
The darkener held his hand out, sticking his tongue through his teeth. Many spades then emerged behind him in a moving wall, rushing towards the electricity coming towards him. The7 intercepted the electricity, cancelling it out while continuing to rush towards Copen.

Shortly afterwards, a red scythe, similar to the one from before but larger, appeared behind Copen and jabbed towards him, attempting to cut straight through him!

In the meantime, Jevil started swirling his hand in a circle motion while floating in the air casually, legs crossed. This caused many spades to spawn in a massive circle around Copen, which slowly started to spin in a spiral. Shortly, winds started to kick up and some of the spades jabbed towards Copen. It was a deadly, projectile cyclone! Not only was the tornado itself dangerous, but it kept hurling spades at Copen as well, effectively forming what a gamer would call “Bullet Hell”.

Copen

"Boss, we got more projectiles on our tail!"

"Tch...!"

Jevil's spades had blocked Stellar Spark, the projectiles continuing towards Copen uninterrupted. In addition, a larger red scythe had appeared behind him, prompting the scientist to use Twintail Bunker once more, propelling himself upwards to avoid the more dangerous projectile as well as the incoming spades, the Adept Slayer hovering high up in the air. His Weapon Gauge was about halfway empty, but his Weapon Recharger subroutine would take care of that soon. Besides, he had managed to recover a Bullit, a tremendously useful tool in the right conditions.

More and more spades appeared around him, but something else got his attention. The wind was starting to kick up. Jevil was planning something. He cancelled his hover for a moment, the scientist falling a small distance and avoiding some of the spades that lunged at him immediately, activating his hover again. Jevil's plan then came to fruition, a cyclone of spades now surrounding Copen from all sides.

No EX Weapon would be able to handle it effectively, and his Weapon Gauge was not full, preventing Flashfield usage. Not like he thought that would help. It was able to handle a few spades, but this many? It was simply out of the question. He'd have to bring out the big guns.

May claws shatter chains of those who traipse in my wake... Begone, you impure!

"Shred Storm...!" Copen spoke through clenched teeth, the P-Bits flying around him. The small machines appeared as a blur to anyone watching them, leaving a crimson trail as they flew throughout the area, unleashing a storm of high-speed slashes that destroyed any nearby spades, clearing the area and allowing Copen to escape with a Bullit Dash. The scientist soon made it back down to the ground with an Impact Reload, refilling all of his Bullits.

He'd been forced to use one of his strongest moves to escape... As he expected, this foe was far above anyone he'd fought so far during this tournament. It was rather impressive. Copen simply stood in place, waiting for Jevil's next move. He'd rather save his weapon energy instead of wasting it on an attack that likely wouldn't hit its mark.

Otacon: It can't have been that important.
Snake: ...
Otacon: But hey, there's still the Loser's Bracket! Climb to the top there, right?
Snake: Maybe.
Otacon: It feels like you're... hiding something from me.
Otacon: What's going on, Snake?
Snake: I'll tell you later. Any idea who we're facing next?
Otacon: Not sure, looks like the Host enjoys scrambling the list to avoid too much pre-planning before a match.
Snake: Thanks, Otacon.

Snake rose to his feet, glancing about the lobby. It felt bigger than before, probably due to the fact that so many people from before were now gone. After these last few matches concluded, it'd be even smaller...

One screen depicted Calmaramon, locked in battle. He was impressed that she was still hanging on after her initial loss to him. Of course, it had been a close match already. Amaterasu had returned to the lobby, and was seated nearby, her head held high. There were the various Pokémon hanging about he could recognize, but admittedly? Not many people from the Smash Bros. tournaments were a part of this--which was exactly as Snake had expected when he'd arrived.

It was probably why the Host was so wary of him. Host knew something Snake didn't want him to.

The soldier, David, elected to make his way over toward Amaterasu. He greeted her with a respectful nod, before he took a seat on the ground beside her, saying nothing as he glanced about.

Host had been busy, it seemed. On the left side of the lobby (Snake's left, Host's right) sat a series of statues that Snake recognized to be those still on the Winner's Bracket. Large and seemingly made of pure diamond, they were certainly impressive. On the other end of the lobby stood another row of statues, those on the Loser's Bracket. He could see a statue of himself in his default pose near the center of the row, his bandanna flapping behind him, frozen in the breeze. The butt looked a little too big though. Much like Snake was seated beside Amaterasu right now, the statue of the Sun Goddess sat beside the statue of himself.

Aside from the statues, a wall had been erected in the back of the lobby. Diamond heads stuck on golden spikes jutting from the ground. The heads of those who'd been eliminated. The only head missing was Frank Horrigan's whose helmet and interior was still wiggling atop the screen displaying a battle between the soldier who'd beaten Horrigan, and a round-ish automaton that reminded Snake of a mix between Kirby and Sonic's foe; Eggman.

Snake couldn't help but notice a few glances from Host cast his way. In any other situation, it would have been almost funny to see a being with such power acting so cautious of a simple man. Well, "simple" was a bit of an understatement, but the comparisons between them were vast.

The refreshments table still stood in the center of the lobby, and the woman dressed in Greek-like armor was still there, though this time she wasn't drinking lemonade from a red solo cup. It seemed that, either through request or simple tournament progression, the refreshments had been upgraded. Now it was a row of containers, one of which was a gigantic barrel that the woman poured wine from, taking multiple drinks of from a few silver goblets she'd collected. Her eyes were shifting and her speech was slurred--she was beyond drunk, and her laughs were one of the few sounds filling the lobby. After a few moments, the woman stumbled over toward the monkey that had beaten her.

Snake knew him. Specter. Odd guy. Kassandra wobbled before the throne-sitting simian, holding out a goblet of wine, her unsteady arm splashing some about. "COME ON!" she shouted, "HAVE A... THINGIE THAT YOU PUT IN YOUR MOWTH WITh me..." she blinked a few times, "CELEBRATE A WELL..." Kassandra stopped for a moment to burp. "WELL. EARNED. V-VICTORY!"

It was a terrible idea to place so much wine in the lobby. Hopefully stepping through a portal would sober her up, much like it healed those returning.

Specter

"And the scenery advances the fewer remain alive...how interesting."

Specter looked at the designs as statues erected around, the fountain becoming a more vibrant zone, colors and lights emitting from it. And of course, there was the bar, to which Kassandra located at inhuman speeds and somehow was already thoroughly intoxicated. He gave a pitying glance in the general direction of her. Drinking away the sorrows? Suppose for one of her standing to suffer a loss would make sense. But surely she-

It was soon clear that she wasn't sad of her loss, but joyous of his victory. She held out a goblet filled with the alcoholic nectar, the fluid splashing down on the ground in thick globs. Specter instinctively made his chair back up a few inches, just barley managing to avoid staining his white fur with the drink. Specter looked her up and down, his taken aback expression, returning to a more hesitantly confident one.

"Normally I wouldn't stoop so low to drink in the same standing as a human, but for you? Ha, I say you've earned that respect. Although I hope my own brand of wine would be satisfactory for you. On the bright side, there is more for you."

A small glass came up from the right arm of his chair, as he plucked it out of the slot. The small glass was raised up towards the noticeably bigger Goblet, a high pitched tink sounding off of it before taking a sip of the drink.

Audrey Redheart

"Wah!" Audrey's blade was deflected by the blast, forcing the lightning to go flying into the clouds disappearing from sight.
"Gr...I'll show you!" She growled out, opting for some actual strategy - Took her long enough - Now, using her scarf to try and cover The Knight's eyes, and try for that final hit of the combo again, this time with level 1 lightning rather than fully charged.

Axe

As the Yiga Clan member disappeared, Axe couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief before he looked back over.
"...Maybe it wouldn't be the worst idea to stay outta it for now.." He muttered to himself as he saw Calmaramon attack all of the clones. Yikes. That would not be the best idea to rush.

Spotting the cannon he'd landed against before, he began to turn it, beginning his preparations as he turned it to face Calmaramon, trying to be as sneaky as possible.

Psyyyduck
His eyes opened. He was surrounded by scorched rubble... what just happened? It was just like that one time at the end of his time in the Jungle. He was a bit woozy, but he pulled himself to his feet regardless, only to meet a mutated Pidove swooping down at him.
The flightful bird knocked the flightless bird over, down into the uncomfortable rubble, and then crash landed into an iron girder. They both scrambled to their feet at the exact same time. The Zidove stumbled towards The Duck with flesh-eating intent, to which our hero responded by picking up a decently large rock and smashing its bird brain in.

That was simple, why couldn't all opponents make him look this good?

Speaking of opponents, Leon was still alive, if the zombie soaring out of a building was any indication. However, Psyduck was too dizzy to blast himself over there, and simply took cover behind a pile of rubble. Perhaps even blast a spurt of water if the need to befell him.

Turner

The rabbit powered through the pain of his left foot as there was another, final dance of blades. The grey Jedi only sped up, yet Turner only slowed down with each lightsaber strike against his furry body. His peripheral blurred, and the pain tore at his focus on the fight. He soon hopped backwards, unable to take on Revan's onslaught any longer. His sword was red hot, even the hilt was scorching, but he knew it'd be a terrible idea to drop his only weapon, so he endured. He was hunched forward to appease his wounds, which stained both his fur and the grass below with blood.

"Well."

"I guess this is where we find out if I'm really as immortal as they say I am."

Yiga Assembly

A notable portion of the assailing Yiga were turned into soup by the Digimon's breath, and the rest finished their assault, disappearing from the battlefield in their stead, a dozen Yiga Archers armed with Duplex bows. They took aim from a long distance away as to try and outrange the acid, and then shot an onslaught of arrows(2 arrows per 1 person's shot) vaguely at Calamaramon's upper half.

They left Axe alone, seeing what the kid was doing, and even helping his case by hopefully drawing the attention of the squid monster.

In fact, their boss doubled down on this attention-drawing at his own risk.

"HEY, FISH BREATH!"

Behind Calamaramon, he was hovering at eye level with her, a ring of boulders rotating around him.

"Chew on this!"

With that quip, he tossed each boulder at her one by one whilst floating around in an evasive manuver for any attacks, much like a pesky fly.

Calmaramon

The witch of the sea spotted the row of distant shooters that stood before her, each one aiming their bows obediently as they let loose their arrows. She hissed as she raised her tentacles and braced behind them. Arrows began to stick to the outer layers of her squid body's blubber. it felt like cactus needles being shot into her body, the arrows sticking out as they forced her to step back from them.

"URGH! YOU INSOLENT LIL'-"

"HEY, FISH BREATH!"

Calmaramon flipped Around to face Kohga, a furious expression on her face. As he brought his boulders to bear on her, it became obvious she couldn't let her tentacles down to attack them. So instead she swelled up her stomach, shooting vile spits of black ink that melted the boulders into black sludge that slapped her body after they were reduced to that capacity. One by one, they were dealt with. She just needed to run him dry before she pelted HIM.

"GUNNA RUN OUT OF ROCKS, HUN-EH!!"

Kassandra the Eagle Bearer

She laughed stupidly at the clink of their glasses. So sophisticated, Specter would have enjoyed the company of Sophocles, and vice versa. As Specter took a sip, Kassandra downed her goblet in a couple seconds, before she dropped her cup, stumbling for a moment on the spot. "Life..." she told Specter. "Life SUCKS, man... uh... monkey..." her eyelids fluttered, before she shook her head, rubbing at her eyes.

"People always say it's too..." she hiccuped, "... short, you know? Maybe it is for most people I GUESS, buuuuuut..." Kassandra wobbled, "I have to live for 2,000 years just to hand off a stupid necklace to somebody who actually knows WHAT to do with it!" in annoyance, the warrior tugged lightly at the necklace she wore, the one that had transformed earlier into the Staff of Hermes. "THAT's my purpose, Specter, I am a g-GLORIFIED..." another hiccup, "necklace carrier... malakas what is in this wine..."

Kassandra tipped to the side, before she collapsed to the ground, catching herself on her rear with a drunken chuckle.

Leon S. Kennedy

Ah Jesus, that was too long of a jump. Leon folded his arms, watching as Psyduck noticed him and scrambled behind cover. What to do... how to get over there without invoking a literal herd of the undead... they had a fight to continue and finish, after all, and no way was he putting it out with a whimper. "Could really use that intuition of yours right about now, Chris," Leon muttered to himself as he turned away and began to scan the room, though visibility was terrible.

Conjuring his flashlight, Leon cut the beam through the emptiness, taking in everything he could. Something to get across that large gap, in some way. Hell, a clothesline would do... dust, more dust, a chair, a box of what looked like scrap metal, a pile of dusty old dvds, a few moldy teeth lying in a black stain, and...

A noose.

Leon sniffed as he stuck his flashlight in his mouth and grappled with the noose, untying it quickly before bringing it down. Unoccupied, and the hole had been loose, so the noose had never been used. Perhaps the zombie he'd thrown out earlier had been killed or died before it could use the noose in life. Either way, the length was acceptable, but he was only halfway toward having anything of note. For a moment, he almost considered calling on Psyduck for help, but the mental image of the duck cutting the line or something as he was halfway across halted that idea.

Stashing the rope in his inventory, Leon began to explore the rest of the apartment room quickly, searching for something--anything that could aid in this last bit. A hook, or maybe a really strong hanger... ugh, no way could he use a hanger, it'd snap with ease. Unless...

Leon marched into the room, yanking open a closet door to find a mummified corpse inside, the body of a woman huddled against the wall, her skin leathery. Long dead, the virus hadn't had time to claim her. Leon ignored the corpse as he yanked down a moldy shirt from a hanger. Okay, now for the last thing...

Heading toward the kitchen, which was the room he'd first crashed into, Leon began to scour through the cabinets and drawers. Dishes, more dishes, soap, canned food, even more dishes, oven mitts, yet even more dishes, aha! Leon pulled out a thick roll of duct tape and glanced outside of the window to see Psyduck's butt sticking out of cover. It had only been a couple minutes by now, so Leon set to work immediately, thickly wrapping the hanger in all of the duct tape possible. By the time he was finished, he felt a little more confident, but still... not the greatest. Upon searching for more duct tape, he didn't prevail. This would have to do.

Stepping back to the window, Leon rotated his shoulders, prepping himself. With a hurl, he launched the tied duct tape hanger toward a piece of scaffolding. The hanger fell too short. After a couple more tries, Leon yanked the rope back in frustration. Okay, so... he needed to close the distance a little.

...

... ...

... ... ...

"I'm gonna die," Leon stated matter-of-factly as he stood with his back to the wall. With that last sentence of encouragement, Leon took off at a sprint, launching himself through the window and into the open air. He had one chance, one shot, aaaaand...

He flung the hanger at the apex of his height, the duct tape greatly weighing it down, enough for it to finally reach its destination, and-

It didn't hook. Instead, it bounced off the scaffolding.

"FUCK!" Leon shouted as he began to fall, but by some stroke of luck (he was certainly earning his karma today) the hook managed to grasp onto the next piece of scaffolding, latching on, and Leon felt a tug.

Then a snap.

Oh well, it had been a long shot anyway.

"FUUUCK!" Leon shouted again as he plummeted downward. He'd clearly run out on his luck, and it had been wishful thinking to believe such a fragile hanger coated in duct tape would suffice, but at the very least he'd made the effort. Seems that psychic blast had doomed him in the end, anyway.

Revan

The Hare was on his last legs, and stumbling quickly. Too quickly. Revan narrowed his eyes, before he deactivated his crimson blade, tucking it aside while holding forward the violet saber, bending his legs slightly, taking a new stance. One he had just invented in the art of the force, one Turner himself had inspired.

"Nothing is immortal," Revan replied simply. "Only the living force."

With the stance in tow, the air began to shift around them as the wind began to pick up, A gale at first, but quickly growing into a violent twister, the two of them caught at its center as trees became uprooted, sucked up into the air, clearing the battlefield and keeping both combatants trapped in the center, else they wished to get swept up in the ever-rapid tornado.

Rebellio

The fight came to a brutal end, both fighters now at the frontmost car, a trail of blood covering every surface behind them. Rebellio watched as Punk crumpled to the ground, unable to keep fighting despite his incredible willpower. He could understand that. Having one's life on the line at all times, not willing to accept defeat and trying to overcome impossible odds...

It was commendable.

The train and the city soon faded away, the invisible crowd cheering as fanfare played from within the void. "You fought well. I hope you can rest peacefully now..." The Adept spoke, a gateway opening behind him. His injuries quickly healed through unknown means, Rebellio being momentarily covered in light before being returned to his normal form, Falcon Quill pinned to his jacket once more. Having to wear handcuffs again sucked, though. Maybe he could find a way to get rid of those.

Walking through the gateway and returning to the plaza, it seemed things had changed quite a bit since he entered his last fight. There were a bunch of diamond statues of those still standing and several containers filled with all kinds of refreshments. He'd make sure to get some lemonade soon. He hadn't gotten the chance to try it out when it was first available.

Rebellio looked up at one of the nearby screens, Frank's head attached to the top. While very off-putting, it wasn't what the Falcon was focused on. The screen displayed Master Chief's fight against some sort of machine, the two engaged in a fast-paced battle that switched from long-range to short-range in the blink of an eye.

You got this, Chief...

The Knight

The Abyss Shriek had thankfully worked, blasting Audrey's blade upwards, but not leaving her open enough for another attack. She was quick to try again, the Knight readying its nail as the Hero lunged at it - when the scarf flew right into its mask, almost completely covering it due to the size difference.

With no way to tell where the next attack would come from or if it would be electrified, Shroom went for another risky move, leaping a small distance into the air, body enveloped in shadow. It raised a nub before smashing into the ground, sending out an omnidirectional blast of shadow around the impact area, the earth shaking due to the force of the impact. With some luck, Descending Dark would intercept Audrey's attack much like the earlier Abyss Shriek did.

Specter

He slowly sipped the fluid from his glass as he witnessed Kassandra laugh boisterously, downing what should be pints of her alcoholic beverage. Well, if this was her culture, who was he to judge her for it? Especially here and now.

"Life..." she told Specter. "Life SUCKS, man... uh... monkey..."

Specter's curiosity was perked, his eyes shifting from his drink to Kassandra, who has rested hers on the table. She then began to explain, albeit slurred, her plight, all revolves around her being a necklace carrier, devoted to carry it for 2,000 years. Specter frowned at the prospect. Pausing as he silently watched her fall down on her tuckus, his friend turned to that of a smirk.

"And who says that's your only fate? Mmmm?" Specter flicked his wrist. "They said my fate was to preform for the humans to laugh at me. But I spat in the face of fate, and took the reigns onto my own. No person is bound to fate if they have the means to rip their bonds. Not sure if you are getting all of this in your...Mhm...state, but..."

Bringing a hand out to help Kassandra off the floor, he gave her a cool smirk, one that showed he wasn't afraid of being cursed to a path for the rest of his life.

"You can be anything you want, as long as you are willing to take it with your power."

Hareta

"Huh? You think the sky is weird?"

Hareta was talking to his Lucario who he was sharing some food with as the Pokémon sensed the Auras around him. The creature was interested in the crack in the sky of unknown origin, albeit Hareta didn't see that much of a deal with it. After all, this host could fix that any time he was sure.

"It's fine Lucario, when he get out of here we won't have to worry about it anymore! We should just spend the time here making friends and battling our hearts out! Let's go make a new friend now, liiiiiike...oh! Him!"

Hareta pointed toward Death, as they looked heavily over a few dozen meters away. Lucario appeared shocked, as if hit couldn't believe the boy suggested that. But before he could protest, Hareta already ran in Death's direction.

"Heeeeeey!" Hareta called. "What's up?? That's an awesome cape! Think I can try it on??"

PSYDUCK.
The Duck peeked from his cover as Leon leapt from a window. What an idiot, humans can't jump that far! He waddled over to the edge, watching the cop's descent into doom.

He made a childishly rude gesture and yelled.

Vicotory: Psyduck!

Walking out from the portal, he felt refreshed from all of his injuries, and looked at his picture move up on the leaderboard, his picture moving up one round. That made him happy, although he still didn't understand exactly what it meant. Yet he still grinned, and grinned he did. His picture was right next to Machamp's, another Pokémon! Those Machamps were all meatheads, Psyduck figured he'd run circles around him when the time came.

Turner Rabbit

Turner was injured. Bad. He couldn't give up though. If he could just get that wish, then all the pain he had endured and dealt over the last couple years would have been worth it. He could smile again. He could finally fix the past. This was the final stretch of the fight, undeniably in his foe's favor, the man summoning an entire tornado, quite the show.

But maybe he could use that show against him.

The lagomorph caught a decent-sized branch that was tossed towards the middle of the tornado with his free hand, and then with a burst of his last energy, he shot forwards at Revan.

He crossed his arms mid-sprint, and then swung with both blade and branch at the same time in a scissor-like attack. Then, without warning, he sprung up and threw a knee towards the grey Jedi's face, with enough force behind it to potentially knock him into the raging storm around them!

The Anti-Sheikah
In desperation, Kohga raised his hands, conjuring his blue energy wall to block the gust of melty gas. This made him drop focus on the last couple boulders in the ring around him. They fell, one right onto his head, which smacked him into the ground below. Golly, what was that kid waiting for? Why hasn't he fired that darn cannon already? Kohga could only distract the witch for so long. The archers in the distance disappeared, traded in for two Blademasters that appeared at their Master's side. The Blademasters helped him up.
"You're the ugliest squid I've ever seen! Uh... that's not even a face a mother could love!" He continued his taunts, his distractive charade running low on ideas since he started.

"C'mon, you brat! Now's a great time to do the thing!"

Copen vs Jevil (auto perms received)

Jevil continued his little dance while Copen broke through the cyclone of spades, landing not too far away from the jester. Jevil seemed very entertained by the fight, grin never fading. He clearly enjoyed this 'game'. The remaining spades soon disappeared following Copen's escape, neither fighter making a move for a few moments.

"Piip piip, let's ride the carousel game!" The darkner announced, summoning a series of duck and horse-like toys that surrounded Copen. They moved up and down as they circled around him, slowly closing in. Not wanting to get crushed, the Adept Slayer performed a Bullit Dash directly forwards, a duck attempting to block his way out before being quickly destroyed by the scientist's Twintail Bunker.

Now soaring directly towards Jevil, Copen readied his Border II as he performed a pistol whip once more, trying to place a tag on his opponent. Jevil was quick to swing his scythe and block the attack, the two weapons clashing as a few sparks flew out from the contact zone. Despite the attack being blocked, Copen continued his assault, making use of his boosters and momentum to bounce upwards, Jevil raising his scythe again to slice through the Adept Slayer. Spending another Bullit, Copen delivered a powerful kick to the flat side of the scythe, knocking it aside and leaving Jevil himself wide open.

Using his third and final Bullit, Copen propelled himself directly towards the vulnerable darkner, his pistol finally making contact with the jester's face, the head briefly bouncing off his body, only attached to it by a spring. A triangular reticle appeared around Jevil, signifying a successful tag, the Adept Slayer promptly firing a barrage of lasers that curved through the air and homed in on Jevil, who brought up a wall of spades in an attempt to block them. The lasers simply curved around the spades and hit their mark, a look of surprise plastered on the darkner's face as the lasers struck him.

Copen wasn't done, switching EX Weapons to Vantage Raid and unleashing many disc-like projectiles that homed in on Jevil just like the lasers did. While they didn't do much damage to the jester, they did bind around his body, preventing him from moving around freely. After a few more seconds of this barrage of projectiles, the scientist's tag faded, lasers no longer homing in on his opponent. Despite having taken quite the amount of damage, Jevil didn't seem to be disheartened at all. He laughed maniacally, kicking his feet in the air as well as he could, still constricted by Vantage Raid.

"Nu-ha!! You're really good at this game! I never had such fun, fun!!" Jevil commented, Copen unable to comprehend his excitement. Perhaps he was simply insane. Quite suddenly, a series of bombs with spades in their center dropped from above, covering the area around the scientist to prevent an easy escape. Ten spades shot out evenly from each bomb once they hit the ground, releasing an absurd amount of spades in just a few moments, many of them heading in Copen's direction.

"Watch out, Boss!" Lola warned, switching EX Weapons to Stellar Spark to shoot down any spades coming from behind her creator, leaving him to deal with the ones coming from in front. He placed his arms in front of himself before crouching to become a smaller target, several spades striking his armor, leaving many marks in his White Tiger suit. Even though it had been made for greater mobility but lower defense compared to his Megante Leon armor, it was still fairly durable. It would take more than that to take him down.

Once this wave of attacks ended, Copen got back up, looking up at his opponent. The effects of Vantage Raid were about to fade, so he had to act quick before Jevil could break free. Making use of the single Bullit he'd gained from his earlier tag on Jevil, the scientist performed another Bullit Dash right as the Puppetmaster-based EX Weapon faded, the Adept Slayer scoring another tag on the darkner before he could fly or teleport away. Another wave of lasers flew towards Jevil, who tried to block as many as he could - though most of them still struck him.

The grin on Jevil's face seemed to falter somewhat, his small yellow pupils disappearing, the jester now simply floating in the air and no longer dancing. A series of diamonds emerged from below and stabbed away at Copen's power armor, these ones more fragile yet deadlier than the darkner's other deck-themed projectile. Copen leapt backwards to move out of the danger zone, quite a few diamonds still striking his armor, one of them even leaving a a gash on the Adept Slayer's cheek.

Copen's armor now looked fairly damaged, many black marks and even a few tiny holes now present in it. The few diamonds that had made it past the armor hadn't quite made it all the way to his bodysuit, but it was still remarkable damage. "Enough!!" Jevil spoke, still floating above the Adept Slayer. "You've tired me up!"

"Are you... forfeiting?" Lola questioned. It seemed rather strange for him to be acting like this all of a sudden. Jevil quickly went back to his usual grin, laughing before morphing into his scythe once more and disappearing.

"Kidding! Here's my final chaos!!"

The already dim area dimmed even further, only a few lights illuminating the indoor scrapyard. Out of nowhere, several scythes dropped from above one after another, covering the general area Copen stood on. They briefly created pillars of light once they hit the ground, making the impact area dangerous even after the initial attack had passed. Gritting his teeth, Copen made use of his excellent mobility to move out of the way of each scythe, Bullit Dashing away when several of them threatened to drop directly on top of him. He was holding his own for now, but their pace only seemed to quicken. Something terrible was coming...!

Copen and his partner kept trying their best to dodge the scythes, P-Bits spinning around as they charged a new EX Weapon. Eventually, a massive Devilsknife appeared out of nowhere, making its way directly towards the duo. They wouldn't be able to avoid this one. They had to counter it! The P-Bits fired a large purple prism at the Devilsknife, nowhere near as large as the giant scythe, but still very powerful, requiring almost all of Copen's weapon energy to fire. The projectiles clashed, causing a huge flash of light...

The light soon faded, chunks of Copen's Prism Break and Jevil's Devilsnife scattered along the ground. It seemed their strategy had worked. Jevil reappeared right in front of Copen, grin still present. Performing one last Bullit Dash towards Jevil, the Adept Slayer placed a tag on the darkner, firing a flurry of lasers towards Jevil, who seemed tired after that last attack.

"Time to end this." Copen muttered, still close to Jevil following his tag, having recovered a small amount of weapon energy. With two quick slashes of Hailstorm Blade, he knocked the darkner downwards. Without a moment's notice, the scientist performed an Impact Reload on top of Jevil, falling at incredible speeds before crushing him. The jester disappeared in a flash of light, the world around him fading as he put away his pistol.
  • The Winner: Copen!
  • The Loser: Jevil!

Death turned to see who this stranger was to talk to him - only to find no one. Then, he looked down and his cold gaze stopped upon a foolish human infant. Compared to himself, at least. Really now. This mere child dares approach - nay, try communicating with the spirit controlling the dead without even quavering from fear a bit? Death analyzed his body language and came to a rather simple and quick solution - this toddler seemed completely oblivious to him. Unlike the bravery of a Belmont, what was present here was just a mere overwhelming amount of ignorance. Even more so proved when this child asked to wear his very robes, when it below half the reaper's own height. Death, although he had to keep a polite tone out of his own pride, would say it to the kid straight, no sugar-coating.

" This is no mere cape, ignorant human. This is a robe of utmost unholy essence. Worthy you will never be to carry these unholy garments, never mind to be wearing them. Now, begone. I, Death, have no reason to bother with you foolish humans when it comes to conversing. "

Death spoke his last words in a disgusted and annoyed manner, even waving his free hand toward Hareta to shoo him off like some insect buzzing around him as he turned away from the trainer, giving him the cold shoulder, quite literally. The evil spirit had then levitated into the sky, ascending from being low to the ground to avoid further contact with such fools beneath him. Now, he really had hoped his next battle would start soon.

Revan, the Butcher

The hare leaped, using the swirling winds to try and push an advantage. Revan watched, his eyes shining with interest. Turner found himself a branch and launched himself at the force user, who raised his blade between the scissoring attack, the branch easily dispatching against it, but Turner wasn't quite finished, landing and wasting no time in flinging out a quick.

Revan's newest form, inspired by Turner, proved effective. He slid his head to the side, dodging the attack before slashing upward with his blade.

Turner's eyes widened as he spun himself enough to avoid too much damage, the lightsaber simply singing his fur before he led with another kick, quickly matched by Revan's free arm shooting out and blocking the attack.

The hare was already following this up with a slash from his blade, sliding along the length of the lightsaber, and managing to strike gold. The sword was jammed through a soft spot just under Revan's armor, bypassing his shoulder pad and his chest piece to jam in, and draw blood.

As this attack was in progress, Revan was in the middle of a counter, thrusting his leg out, also managing a blow, using the force to blast Turner back, and preventing the sword from stabbing too far in.

But something suddenly shifted in the air, and it was not the wind. Turner spun in the air to kick off of a flying tree trunk and back at Revan, but the gray Jedi's face had twisted into something akin to pure, untamed fury. His eyes, moments before a warm brown, we're suddenly pulsing golden as a dark shroud collapsed over the realm, and Revan raised his arm as quickly as Turner moved.

The hare was halted in the air, frozen in place for a moment, before he was quite suddenly and violently slammed into the ground, the earth splitting and compacting on impact. The moment Turner was crushed into the ground, he was risen back up, then slammed back down again with equal force and speed. Two more times he was rapidly plunged into the earth, his body brutally breaking apart with each impact, before Revan pulled his arm back, and slashed.

Turner's headless body was flung into the storm, his head flying in an opposite direction. Seething, Revan stood there for a moment, gaze filled with sick satisfaction as he stared at the body--qnd just as quickly, his golden eyes faded, the dark side dissipating to be replaced by a momentarily shocked expression.

Winner: Revan!
Loser: Turner!

A fanfare of music played as the storm vanished, and foliage cascaded down around Revan, who blinked a few times, almost as though he was only just now registering what had happened.

"... How..." he muttered to himself, feeling his stomach twist and churn uncomfortably.

He couldn't bear to look at the corpse tumbling to the ground before him, even as the world around him faded away.

He was supposed to be in control. How had... Revan could not understand.

That rage.

That unbridled fury

It made him feel fear.

Hesitantly, Revan turned and walked through the gateway back to the lobby, his mind clouded and filled with uncertainty.

He had grown to begin respecting Turner. Yet that pain had triggered something...

Master Chief Petty Officer, John S-117

The Robobot didn't appear to calculate for a move like this, repositioning it's arms to attempt to hit, maybe grapple the Spartan, but its momentum was already being utilized, and John proceeded to dig his fingers into it's metal before magnetizing his boots to the ground, and swinging the automaton through the air to crash into the ground, its force built off of by Chief's strength.

It bounced off the ground, attempting to reposition its entire body now as it made to upright itself, but Chief was already on top of it, headed back for the severely damaged cockpit.

The Robobot had learned its lesson before, quickly shifting its arms to counter the Spartan, who ducked below the initial counter to slam his fist into- and through- the cockpit. Satisfied, John managed to drop yet another grenade, tossing a frag right into the hole he'd just opened up before the robot managed to punch him off again.

Cleared of the explosion now, Chief turned himself in the air to land on his feet sliding back as he watched his work come to fruition. The robot erupted in a fiery shower of twister metal, its body coming apart from the severe, internal explosion.

It took a step toward Chief, entire body shuddering violently, before it blasted apart in an even more impressive explosion, watched on by the Spartan.

"... Wow. Guess that's that!" Kalmiya commented.

John said nothing.

Kassandra, the Eagle Bearing Misthios

It was a bit of a silly sight. Maybe even embarrassing for those who knew Kassandra as the "Mighty Misthios". Bah. Semantics, old glory.

The smaller hand reaching out toward her made Kassandra sober up, at least enough to think about Specter and his earlier words with her during their match. His hatred of humans.

Here he was, extending his hand to one. Perhaps it was because Kassandra had treated him fairly, as an equal, with respect and dignity. After all, isn't that what anyone would truly want to be treated with? Could no humans of his world have actually mustered this up for him?

It was a bit disconcerting.

"Mf," she replied as a sort of polite scoff. "Maybe. I'm not really the type to take... But if humanity has truly fallen as far as you've insinuated, regardless if you're part of my future or of another world, perhaps they deserve your wrath. I have seen men enact horrendous deeds, y'know..." her words remained slurred, but her joy seemed to have died down, and with it, her eccentricity. "Unspeakable acts... I've sometimes wondered if that evil is the true nature of man. I am not fully human, so maybe that's why I've been given this task..."

Kassandra tugged absently at her necklace again. "I cannot succumb to the temptations of man, in a sense."

Hareta

"...huh??"

Hareta scratched his head in confusion as Death boomed his disapproval of his very presence before soaring away from him. Hareta blinked, attempting to understand what just happened there.

"So, is that a no?!" He yelled, cupping his hands.

But he was already gone, making Lucario sigh in relief as he caught up to his trainer. It wasn't the time to start talking with people anyway, they needed to start their next match soon. But knowing Hareta, they'd get distracted again.

????

Suddenly, the world around Chief appeared to flicker and glitch out. What would normally transport him out of the stage ended up warping where he stood. A new reality fought through, almost like it had a will of its own. After a few seconds, the entire stage disappeared, replaced with this new reality.

Master Chief found himself in a dark, ghastly looking mausoleum. It was a tall room that stretched up into absurd heights, cut off by the darkness. Along the walls were thousands of hands, each one made of stone, appearing frozen in the motion of clawing toward something...or someone.

In the center of the room, a group of figures were etched in stone. A small, timid boy with a staff of some kind, a Shinobi that stood in a fighting stance, and a kid with what appeared to be a flaming blade that was rather down on his luck.

The next ones appeared...far more bizarre. The statues in front of those had a more...alive feel to them. A ghost with eyes that seemed to ripple, despite the fact it was a statue. A droid holding a blaster that had the faint yet distinct sound of a humming engine...and last but not least...

A statue stood at exactly Chief's height, holding a hologram, that was etched in stone as well. It was...another Spartan, but not just any Spartan. It was the Master Chief himself, which made this Hologram he was carrying...Cortana.

Axe

It took long enough, but finally Axe was able to reach a perfect angle...
And then he waited. He knew Kohga was buying time for him, evn a three year old could probably tell from his perspective. So, his tactic was now to let that play out, let Calmaramon weaken him more.

It took a while, but finally Axe decided to fire once Kohga needed help from his allies to stand. The cannon was aimed for Calmaramon's lower half, aiming to topple the beast. After all, he attacked the head before, so the lower half seemed like the more useful choice.

Pow!

The boy slammed his shield and, indeed, his body, into the cannon, sparks flowing in the attack causing the cannonball to come blasting out!
"Hah!" He yelled.

Audrey

"W-woah!" Audrey's attack was not only cut off by the move, but sent her tumbling back! The Hero began to fall back, the ground shaking and the blade's weight finally starting to show a little - Seriously, how does she carry that thing all the time? - as its weight was sent back by the blast!

Weirdly enough, this sent her stumbling uphill...to a cliff!
"Ga!" Without much of a chance, Audrey slipped off the cliff, her hand barely catching herself before she could fall fully, but barely hanging on. There was no sign of slipping, and in fact, it seemed she could get up.

Looking down the cliff, there was a large platform set for a battle, with signs of the death of a heart in the area and spikes having clearly been forced up before.
But what was more notable was the lava. The molten, boiling lava. Just seeing it could turn most adventurers into a sweating mess.
This wasn't just a mountain. It was a Freezing Volcano.

Calmaramon

"Do it now!"

"EHHHH???"

Calmaramon didn't know what Kohga meant by that. Axe was dead, so there was not a soul to call on, right? However the sound of a cannon firing forced her to wake up, turning to the sight of a cannonball coming right for her-!

*BOOOOOM!*

The explosion from the cannonball rocked the ground as smoke plumed high into the air. As the dust settled, a speaker was heard crackling as 1's and 0's floated about where the Star once stood, alongside a small phone.

Loser: Ranamon!
Last man standing!

The Knight

Descending Dark did its job, sending Audrey stumbling backwards and all the way to a cliff. The spell also happened to blast the scarf away, giving the bug its vision back. It quickly chased after Audrey, who was hanging off the edge, albeit barely. The lava below them revealed that Ichor Mountain was also a volcano, a platform located just above the lava for Audrey to possibly land on.

The Knight's blank eyes were locked onto the Hero, Shroom readying its nail, energy gathering around the weapon. It would try to end things right here. After a brief moment of concentration, the bug unleashed a Great Slash directly towards Audrey's hand, aiming to knock her completely off the cliff and hopefully away from the platform below.

Master Chief Petty Officer, John S-117

A dark sense of unease and foreboding embodied this mausoleum, an empty chill running through the course of it, cold enough that John could feel it, despite the fact his suit had environmental controls.

The beings before him had an odd, vague sense of familiarity. Almost like he'd seen them once, a very long time ago. The armor of the Spartan before him confirmed this length of time to him.

A damaged chest plate, the Spartan somewhat shorter. It was a Mark VI Gen I. The suit he'd worn at the tail end of the Human-Covenant war.

And Cortana.

John felt his breath catch in his throat as he stared at the stone making up her face. He could swear her eyes were following him.

"Chief..." Kalmiya spoke, her voice small.

He still said nothing, reaching his arm out toward Cortana... before he halted himself. A buzzing that had entered his ears upon the shifting of the world had grown and grown, which became impossible to ignore the closer he got to Cortana.

"Do you hear that?" John asked.

"Hear what? I... can't pick up anything."

The Spartan pursed his lips behind his visor, and fully extended his arm out toward Cortana.
