Sturm had an expression of Joy underneath his outfit as he saw Geralt being blasted and damaged by his units. His laughing was cut short as Geralt took out the other Anti-Air and went straight for Sturm himself. Sturm jumped back, leaping off-stage, holding one hand above himself in the air. Sturm didn't manage to avoid the slash in time and got slashed across the chest from the sideswipe. The Sword cut through his chestplate, black alien blood seeping from the wound. Sturm was pulled up into the air by a transport helicopter appearing above him, which he instinctively grabbed on to as his hands had clenched from the sudden, unexpected cut.

Growling in anger from beneath his mask, Sturm pointed at Geralt again with his free hand. This time however, no ground units were summoned.. instead, behind Sturm, two units manifested mid-air. Two Bombers. The large planes flew over to Geralt, high in the sky, and begun dropping their bombs on him, as the other, yet unharmed ground units turned to fire at him aswell. @Shen: King of the Mist

He gave the scraping slash against the man(?), sparks emoting as he cut through his armor. Strum however, shifted to the defensive, calling in his aerial mount the ferry him to safety. The Witcher was bewildered by such a contraption, not seeing anything quite like it. He was quickly snapped back to reality however when two bombers starting to dive in. Having seen many of bizarre and dangerous creatures in his travels, he knew that something that flew fast toward him was usually not a good thing.

shifting to his strategy to fight dragons, he rushed toward the tank that he had splatter his blood on, sliding under it in a quick dive.

*BOOM!* *CRASH!*

the bombs landed on and around him, the tank over him getting heavily damaged but not destroyed. Suddenly however, his position was under siege by two smaller tanks. Looking quickly over to them, he attempted other elvish spell.

“Axii!”

he’d attempt to temporarily hijack the mind of one of the tanks to shoot on his comrade. If he were to destroy the tank, he’d shift to firing at Strum’s flying machine.

The pushback pushed The Courier further into the air, as they swapped to their trusty Ranger Sequoia. The Courier figured that if it would be difficult damaging this opponent, they could try to push them off the stage, the same thing as they did with Link.

Sly was momentarily relieved to see the sword put away ,but then mouth stood agape when he saw Courier pull a rocket launcher out of seemingly nowhere, "Where on earth did you get that?! Did you pull that outta your bum?!" Sly said nervously. As Courier Shot the thing sly leaped back but miscalculated his jump ,and saw he was heading off the edge of the map. He separated his cane into two pieces and rock climbed the side of the map and in a quick sneak attack from behind with a quick power attack. Sly saw the pistol and took out his smoke bomb just in case.

Specter rolled his eyes with a smirk on his face, closing his eyes. The naive innocence. Was truly a shame to have to beat someone with these traits down. But he had a goal, and that wasn’t going to stop him from achieving it.

“Time to fight it is. I am a benevolent ruler, so you may take the first attack...”

Specter invited Ori, floating on his chair around the stage.

Ori
Ori blinked at Specter. He knew that these guys weren't as simple as shadow creatures, so he needed to be careful. He decided to use a safe option, bringing out a sharp blade of light out of his palms. Ori swung it in a wide arc over at Specter. The blade reached quite far, so Ori was at a relatively safe distance as he swung.

Kirby
Kirby tilted his head at the terrarians emotes. The star warrior stood for a second, processing, until he realized what he meant.
"Poyo!" he barked out in defiance. The puffball puffed out his cheeks and sat, crossing his nubs and shaking his head. The food was definitely, extremely, ASTRONOMICALLY tempting, but he knew that if he forfeited, he would miss out on the most helpful wish of all time.
Besides, of he makes everyone happy, that'll include himself, and that's infinite food baby!

As Genji went behind him ,and attempted to kick him in the head, Johnny turned and hi blocked his leg ,and grabbed him to the ankle so he could now pull him in ensuring that this time his nutcracker would land this time, "Heeeres Johnny!" Johnny said as he threw his nutcracker. Green aura enveloped Johnny's hand as his punch launched towards his intended target.

Specter extended his hand, a field of psychic energy generating out from it, acting as a barrier. The sword impacted the barrier, the eyebrows on the floating overlord raised quizzically, he didn’t expect their to be quite the bite to that attack, perhaps looks were deceiving.

“Impressive, perhaps I misjudged your prowess. Ha! You shall make me quite entertained!”

Generating a red sphere in his hands, he fired the shot down to the ground. Flames radiated off of it. Even if it were evaded, it would explode into dozens of tiny fragments and splash across the blast zone

Genji gasped softly as his ankle was grabbed. This guy meant business. No more going easy.

There wasn’t a way out of this, so he brought out his wakizashi, and quickly brought it to stab Johnny in the neck, aiming to do some big damage, and it would also be nearly impossible to avoid, as even his opponent was bringing him closer, and if he didn’t want to get stabbed, he’d have to let go. If he was going to take damage, so was his opponent.

Ori backflipped off the shield when his Spirit edge was blocked. When he landed he looked over to see a fireball flying his way. He felt a weird sense of Deja Vu at the sight. Ori ran at the ball and leapt. He prepared to use his Bash skill. Once he was close, time seemed to slow for him, and the ball was a few inches away, completely still. All was quiet for a second, before Ori was sent backwards, and the fireball was reflected, sent back to it's creator. Still in midair, Ori reacted quickly, sending two large shurikens of light, which homed in on Specter from above and his sides

Shen: King of Digimon

“...! Clever...!”

charging a black, radiating sphere in his right hand, he shot it out toward the fire blast, both blasts destroying one another. The fire fragments flew everywhere and so did...two black energy spheres?! They seemed to have duplicated, flying and smashing into the two spheres. All attacks on both sides were canceled out.

“I must say, you have quite the arsenal for a little one. I tip my metaphorical hat to you.”

Giving a classy half salute, he prepared for his next move. He held out both of his hands over himself, generating an energy ring above himself, radiating with energy. The expansive ring was then hurled above his enemy. Suddenly, the suspended ring began to descend, the hole in the center getting smaller and smaller as it got closer to it’s target. The aim? To construct and splice Ori’s body in two.

Gamingfan

Previously Gamingfan2
Ori tilted his head at the ring closing in on him. It was weird, but Ori knew that things shot by enemies are generally bad, so he readied himself.
The guardian spirit used his Dash skill, dodging the ring once it was close to him, and very shrunk. In a flash, he closed the gap between him and Specter quickly. He appeared as if he was going to tackle him, but instead flew by his side, rolled on the floor, and shot his Spirit Arc, basically a light bow and arrow, at Specter's back.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
The shot landed, hitting specter’s floating chair. Smoke came off of the chair, Specter bracing for the blow. Putting his hands back on his armrests, he turned back to his foe.

“If that’s how it’s going to be, then let’s take thing up a notch...!”

pressing a button on his chair, six missiles flew up into the air, raining down toward his enemy’s position, a trail of flames following them

Gamingfan

Previously Gamingfan2
Ori's eyes widened. He moved on instinct, since the missiles were too fast to plan for. When they got closer, Ori jumped, using Bash on one of them. He sent the missile behind him at the others, hoping that he'd avoid the blast. Unfortunately, the range was too wide, and he was sent flying in the air, his charred fur leaving a smoke trail as he flew. Ori had another idea, though, once he regained his bearings. Looking down, he saw Specter below, and proceeded to use his Ultra Stomp. The Guardian spirit rolled up into a ball and fell at an extremely fast speed above Specter, appearing like a falling meteor. Even if he missed, a large amount of spikes would spread around a fair distance around him when he lands.

Specter watched as the animal fell from the sky, specter arched a brow, more bemused than he was threatened. He activated a button on his chair, a sudden thrust of speed propelling him away from the blast zone. Turning around, Specter confidently spoke.

“So this is the limits of your power? I’m afraid a predictable attack such as that-“

*Prick!*

a spike had whizzed past his fur covered hand, drawing a small bead of blood. What? Seemed as though there was more to this attack than he previously predicted. A field of spikes were hurled in every direction. Quickly, Specter prepared his telepathic barrier once more, protecting himself before the rest could hit him, albeit the size of it still exposed certain sections of the chair to susceptible damage. After the attack subsided, he lowered his shield, his hands glowing in blue energy.

“Well played, but I’m afraid this is the end of the line for you!”

putting his hands togetherness a bright blue beam of energy was shot out. It was thin and precise, but had immense cutting power, easily cutting through sections of the floor as it scanned to Ori. It was adjustable, so it Ori was going to move, Specter would track with the laser

Gamingfan

Previously Gamingfan2
Ori shook his head after landed, a bit dazed. A buzz caught his attention, and he looked up to see a thin laser heading toward him. Sinceitw as cutting into the floor, it was obviously deadly.
Specter wanted to finish this. Ori decided to comply. When the laser got close, Ori activated Bash once more. He gave a stern stare at Specter, and propelled the blast...behind him.
Bash sent the laser behind Ori, while Ori himself flew right at Specter, grabbing hold on the top of his chair when he was close. Once there he brought up his arm and summoned a large light Sledgehammer, his Spirit Smash skill. Immediately, he hopped a short distance above the chair, rearing his weapon back, and swung it down above Specter.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Specter was surprised as his foe had turned his deadly weapon into propulsion, rocketing his way. Noticing him jetting towards him, he knew it couldn’t be good. Shutting off his laser, he watched as Ori crashed down at him, only for him to jump out of the chair, Ori breaking it into dozens of pieces. Landing on the ground, specter looked on at Ori, who stood in the wreckage of his floating throne.

“You have earned my respect, little one. So with that, I shall reward you by holding nothing back!”

he proceeded to levitate a foot off the ground, radiating with psychic energy. He lifted up the shattered remains of his throne using this power and flung each piece at Ori like a dartboard. He could reflect single energy attacks, but could he reflect numerous Physical ones?

Gamingfan

Previously Gamingfan2
Ori looked proud as he saw the debri of the chair Specter owned. What was he going to do now?
Apparently Specter had an answer, using his powers to send countless shards of chair at him. Ori curled, summoning his power, and proceeded to use Flash, freeing a large blast of light around him. It deflected the shards, some of which fell off the stage, and others flying in return to Specter.
Turns out he's not completely helpless without that chair. Ori decided to add a little more defense to himself. He summoned a bit more light, and a ball of glowing energy popped out of his chest. A sentry.
Ori felt a small ping of sadness, remembering his old partner, Sein. His sentry wasn't alive, but it would shoot small blasts of light at any threat nearby until it disappears after some time. Ori stood, keeping watch over Specter, unsure if his next action.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Specter seemed disinterested in the shards of the chair that came somewhat toward him. With a flick of his wrist, the pieces whizzed past him instead of at him. The simian looked at the sentry, knowing exactly what to do to fool it. Specter suddenly vanished in purple light before vanishing back...with ten more duplicates of himself! The After images each were around Ori and his sentry, each one with a smirk on it’s face. As the sentry shot one after another, fake after fake, the real specter charged forward, a blade of psychic energy projected over him palm. Specter would aim to cleave through the sentry and Ori in one move

Gamingfan

Previously Gamingfan2
Ori nervously looked over at the surrounding Specters. The sentry obviously couldn't tell the difference, shooting wildly at them, being very wrong each time. His ear twitched as he heard one of the Specters charge forwards. The real one.
As the sentry shot the other fakes, starting to eliminated the last few, Ori summoned his Spirit edge, blocking the psychic blade with his light one. He shoved Specter's blade away, and followed up with a quick succession of slashes, as the sentry began finishing up with the fakes, and turned its focus onto the real one.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Specter looked at the light blade before him, getting an idea that made him smirk. Right as Ori began to attack...

*Slash!*

Specter had drawn out a silver cutlass, the hilt of gold and his name in Japanese encrusted on the blade. Parrying each individual sword swipe, Specter snickered.

“My Unfathomable power grants me insight into the mind of my opponent.” Specter explained. “I know your strikes before you even make them!”

He then went for a piercing jab, going on the offensive. When he would jab, his other hand prepared a pulse of psionic energy that would aim to throw his opponent off Stage once their were hopefully wounded

Gamingfan

Previously Gamingfan2
Ori glared as Specter parried all of his blows. When he jabbed, Ori leapt backwards, wincing slightly as the cutlass cut a smallish gash on his leg. He landed on his sentry, and his eyes flashed. Quickly, he used Bash to send his own sentry at Specter's glowing arm. Should it hit, the energy should be released in an explosion of light, hopefully wounding Specter insanely.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Specter had a glint in his eye as he drew blood from Ori. His satisfaction was short lived after all, as he obtained a frown a second before they cast the artifice his way. He knew what they were about to do. He held his hands in an energy barrier appearing around himself. As the explosion hit him, the shield barrier cracked.

the barriers shrunk and shrunk around him as the energy from the blast seemed to stay longer than a normal explosive. The barrier seeming to crack more and more as he reduced the size further and further, a charge appearing around him, fluctuating in power.

suddenly, a sparkle of power emitted from Specter as he suddenly exploded forth a quake of energy! He was defending from the previous attack whilst charging this one! The attack, Supernova Splicer, would expand massively and would cover a large portion of the battle zone. Due to Ori already being close by and an injury on his leg, escaping this would surely be difficult

Gamingfan

Previously Gamingfan2
Difficult, but not impossible.
Ori focused, using his Launch skill to...well, launch himself higher into the air. The explosion kept expanding, though, and was catching up to Ori. Without many options, the Guardian Spirit brandished his paw, which sparked a small fireball. His Light Burst skill. He lobbed the fireball at the explosion. The fireball exploded itself, burning Ori a bit but sending him higher and out of harm's reach. Once there, he brought out his distinctly huge purple feather and held onto it. It slowed his fall, letting him glide and have a breather. The guardian spirit relaxed a bit, but only a bit. He was pretty high up, and falling slowly, but he wasn't sure if it would be beneficial considering how his opponent liked to work long-ranged.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
As the blast eventually faded away, Specter was left in a large crater. Looking up, he saw Ori had made it out of the explosion, if rather charred, clinging both hands to a feather. Perfect.

“You fought well, but that is enough. It ends here.”

Specter fired off five thick energy blasts, each one Bending outwards in a different direction. Soon however, they all joined up to hit every position around Ori. Coming from the left, right, sides, up, and down, trying to cover for the reflect. With her hands busy with the feather and the attacks coming from every direction, Specter made a confident smirk, giving what he would be considered a final wave.

“Ciao, Ori.”

Previously Gamingfan2
Ori was surrounded, with energy blasts from every direction. Ori felt, fear, before he heard the smug comment Specter made.
Ori's face contorted with anger and determination. He let go of a side of the feather, now falling at a much faster speed. He reached the bottom energy blast, and used Bash to send himself to his left, over to another blast, and proceeded to Bash it as well over to the other energy blast. Rinse and repeat until all the blasts were diverted, except the top one, which he bashed over to Specter, following up with a Light Burst, which would detonate itself and the energy blast when they connect above Specter.
With as much energy as he could muster, Ori proceeded to use his Spirit Shock Smash skill. He took the hammer from the move and swung it down in the floor. Once he landed, Specter had spikes under and in front of him, and a large explosion from above.

Ori felt extremely exhausted, and this sequence of attacks would tire him further, but hopefully it'll work.
It has to work.

The psychic energy blast came back towards Specter. However, right as it was about to hit him, Specter looked at it, the blast freezing in it’s tracks.

“...Did you think that you could Hurt me with such a trick? My hyper-intelligent brain can freely control my powers...your reflectors cannot change this fact.”

The blasts that had detonated into each other ended up combining, and each flew over to the prime one that Specter had in front of him, combing into a huge sphere of energy much bigger than specter himself. He watched as Ori’s blast came in and along with Ori themselves.

Putting his arms behind him, he knew well that Ori wanted to cut through one blast, not five times that payload. But that wasn’t enough to assure his victory. Ori intended to detonate his single blast with their own and then blast through it with their melee attack...but what if they weren’t given the chance?

He gave a small movement of his index finger behind him, his large sphere fusion of attacks was lobbied toward Ori coming closer and closer to them. After to send over their own attack, he clenched his fist, detonating the sphere on it’s own, mere moments before the blast could hit. The explosion cupped up around Ori, cutting off the avenues of escape whilst she flew deeper into the incoming explosion.

due to the physics of the already detonating blast, the blast that Ori sent would add fuel to the fire, adding a light mixture to the already detonating Explosion. And suddenly...

*BOOM!!!*

Psionic and light energies collide Would, fusing their blast potential and encompassing around Ori, detonating and enveloping right on them, sending raining streams of dark-light fire down in the sky. The streams of this light draped over the area like a firework show, burning and destroying the majority of spikes that came in his immediate area.

Bowie didn't have time to react before Mark Guyver started to move again. He put Blob's mech arms in front of the main body in order to get between the drills and make sure they didn't start drilling into the mech. However, this meant they weren't doing anything about the fact that Mark Guyver was trying to also push them into the wall, and thanks to his immense size compared to Blob and Bowie, he easily accomplished this task. Blob was pushed into the wall at full force, definitely taking a lot out of him. It was clear that neither party could take much more of this fight. Bowie had to end it.

Bowie jumped out of the mech and told Blob to get out of his mech transformation. He didn't have long before Masaru adjusted so he had to act fast. He got out a white jelly bean and Blob jumped into his arms and ate it, becoming what looked to be a small, but strong, ball. Using all the strength he had, Bowie threw the blob ball straight at the glowing red ball in Mark Guyver's chest hoping to shatter the weak spot once and for all.

Shen: King of Digimon

The fight was heating up now, Mark Guyver slamming the blob mech into the wall with a night *CRASH!* the wall itself cracking and crumbling upon the impact. In what appeared to be a last ditch effort, Bowie had transformed Blob into a sphere he could carry. Seeing what he was about to do, Masaru panicked, trying to move his mech into position to counter.

The mech marched powerfully forward, preparing to drill into him when it’s core was hit by a deceivingly heavy ball. The mech stopped, slumping over the boy. The rattling began harsher and harsher, the clanks against the metal getting louder and louder. It’s blaring music began to distort and slow down. Right as the climax to the song was about to happen, it would fall onto the boy, exploding violently all over that side of the stage!

Masaru was taken aback, letting go of his controller. He couldn’t believe that goofy kid had taken Out Mark Guyver! Well...at least it was over now...

“Heh....he...I won...I won! O-Of course the hero would win! It just made the hero’s sacrifice, of course! That’s it! Hand!! Tell me I won!!!”

Master hand was looking through the roster. Ratings were going spectacularly this time around! Popular characters were such a good choice! Looking down at popularity, he noticed a massive dip in two characters, those of which could really hurt his ratings! Jack Joyce and executioner.

“Bah! We’ll lose viewership!” Master hand spoke out to the void. “I’ll just remove those two and replace them with two on our waiting list. Hmm...let’s see...a pair from popular franchises that would give a ton of ratings... oh! I know!”

Snapping his fingers, he had removed the two competitors and had replaced them with two more that dropped through the void. A Bandana toting waddle dee and Commander Shepard.

Bowie
"Yes, we did it!!" Bowie shouted as he saw the robot stop moving. Blob transformed back to his regular amorphous shape and they thought that that was the end of it. Then they saw the robot was behaving weirdly. It was almost as if it was about to... "BLOB HURRY" He fished around for another cola jellybean and gave it to Blob, who transformed right as the bot was about to land, knocking the boy around a bit in the explosion.

The dust cleared, and Blob released the bubble form. There was Bowie, hanging on barely from the force of the explosion. He looked around and saw Blob. Blob was once again in his base form, barely moving. He looked incredibly weak, that blast taking a lot out of him. "Blob? Blob come on. start bouncing around again. You're ok right, you have to be ok?" Bowie looked really concerned for his friend's safety. His focus was fixated entirely on whether or not Blob was ok. From what he could tell, Blob was with him, but didn't have much in him whatsoever.

Bandana Dee was fishing and singing his favorite song when he felt a bite on the end of his rod. He yanked it out of the water, but no fish. Instead, there was a letter on the other end of his rod. He unhooked it and read the contents. "A tournament? I mean Kirby and I won that battle royale, but I've never done a tournament by myself."

Bandana Dee then read the part where it stated that he could get whatever wish he wanted granted. "I CAN GET A LIFE TIME'S SUPPLY OF CAKE FOR ME AND KIRBY!!! Maybe this time Kirby won't eat it all. I'M COMING CAKE!" He then hurriedly dashed through the portal that appeared in front of him.

Bandana Dee exited the portal to see a giant floating hand as well as a Bracket for the tournament. It seemed to him like everything had already started. "Wait... don't tell me I'm late for the cake."

Masaru’s eyes widened as he he saw Bowie emerged from the wreckage, blob along with him. No...they couldn’t have! The hero bot always wins! That’s what a hero does... Dragging his nails across his skin to draw blood from himself and bring him back into the moment, he glared at his competition, a snicker arising on his face.

“Don’t worry kid...I’ll make that children’s paradise weather you like it or not!”

he dashed over to boy, not wanting to lose his chance of wishing his perfect little kingdom into existence. Taking what appeared to be a charred and beat up baseball bat from the wreckage of Mark Guyver, he leaped at Bowie, aiming to clobber him with one harsh swing of a bad. He was playing for keeps.

Bowie was too distracted to notice Masaru creeping up behind him, but Blob noticed as Masaru was about to hit Bowie. Using what little strength he had left he formed a pseudo shield to protect Bowie from the danger. That last hit was enough, and Blob went down, seemingly dead.

Bowie was in shock, but he wouldn't let Blob's sacrifice be in vain. Before Masaru could go for another swing, Bowie tackled him to bring him to the ground. "Don't you see what you did!?! You KILLED him! He was my best friend and you KILLED HIM!" Bowie was crying as he yelled. He knew Masaru had a goal he cared about, but right now he didn't care. His friend was dead. His world was turning to nothing but despair. His thoughts were nothing but rage. He didn't care how hurt he was, he would die fighting if that's what it took.

Masaru grinned wide and sinisterly as soon as Blob went down. That was boy’s entire weapon! With that down it was in the bag for him! Suddenly though, Boy began to cry, turning to him with a new sense of focus in his eyes, an intense focus. Masaru was going to whack him with the bat too just to make sure he covered His bases before the boy tackled him in a fit of feral anger!

falling to the ground, his headphones flipped right off and plopped against the ground, struggling against the now motivated kid, Masaru put the bat between him and the boy as a buffer. Shutting an eye from the pressure, he grit his teeth.

“D-didnt you hear the hand..?! Ngh! Nothing gets hurt or dies forever in these matches...! Your just being a big stupid sore loser!”

He tried to flip it around to pin boy down on the ground instead of him and push the baseball bat against his throat, how difficult as it would be to out strength the motivated kid. H-Hey... where is this power coming from?

Bowie couldn't hear anything Masaru was saying to him. All he could hear was his own blood pumping. The adrenaline was pumping and he wouldn't hear reason. Masaru was quite strong, on any other day he could definitely overpower Bowie, but not today. Bowie had the upper hand, he felt Masaru try to flip him over and he just doubled down, using Masaru's bat to his advantage. He pushed down hard on the bat, aiming to put Masaru out of commission with a few broken ribs. That... that was the only solution...

That was the only solution... right? The only way to avenge his friend. The one who had died because of this stupid tournament. The one who was by his side through all of those crazy adventures. They had dispatched of so many evil blobs together... but this was just a kid. A kid with a dream. While Bowie doesn't understand the dream, obviously Masaru really believed in it. Would... would Blob have wanted this? He then remembered what had been gnawing at the back of his mind. Brad had let him win. He realized the same thing Bowie was starting to realize, how wrong it all was. Bowie let loose on his grip, his strength fading. He couldn't keep fighting Masaru. He wouldn't become a murderer because of this tournament.

Masaru felt pain as The kid had begun to overpower him, pressure on his chest increasing. It got harder and harder until...it eased up. Blinking and looking up, he saw the boy’s grip ease, the boy’s expression getting softer and softer.

He let out a grin, taking the advantage, he flipped him over, pressing the bat again him in kind. His Grin began to fade however as he saw little to no resistance from the kid. Fighting a kid that didn’t want to defend himself...it felt wrong. His eyebrows began to twitched and his lips curled up in anger.

“What?! No more fight left in ya? Your just gonna give up after what I did to your friend?! Where’s that fighting spirit!?! A hero can’t beat up a kid that can’t fight...! C’mon! Put your fists up or something...!”

Masaru pounded On the boy’s chest, trying to get him to respond to the stimulation, attempting to force him to fight.

“What do you want, a weapon? Where’s that fury?! It was much easier to take you down when you acted like a demon... GIVE ME SOMETHING TO HATE!!!”

Behind Mark Guyver was so easy, he didn’t even need to personally see what happened to his victims. He didn’t mind seeing the corpses of men and women... but a kid? This felt unnatural, especially up close and personal without any resistance.

“This...a hero...”

Masaru’s own attacks began to soften, his blows becoming more light pounds against Bowie’s chest, tears beginning to form in his eyes. He just stopped, seeing a flash of himself in the boy. No. No. Nononononononono. His arms began to tremble, old feelings whelming up in him, feelings he long thought dead and killed along with his demon parents...

His punch would not only block the incoming sword ,but provide a perfect opportunity to kick him in the boys. Johnny quickly launched his foot upwards with green aura manifesting around his foot.

Bowie was ready for the pain. He knew how much Masaru wanted this and he was ready to deal with the pain... but it never came. Instead, Masaru started crying. He didn't want to fight anymore either. His crying made Bowie remember that his friend was gone, but not because of some monster, it was because of a kid who was just had a lot to lose. Tears started to flow down Bowie's face as well. Bowie hated this, but then he remembered something Masaru had said to him before they had ever started the fight. He now wished he had listened to him then instead of letting it get here.

"Hey, Mr. Hand! I'm DONE! I'm done playing your stupid game. The hero of this story can move on instead." He wanted Masaru to be able to continue on. His dream was important to him, but Bowie's didn't matter to him if he had to become a monster to achieve it. "So, do you hear me? I FORFEIT!"

Masaru didn’t expect those words to come out of his opponent’s mouth. Was it really over? Just like that? He was stunned and unable to move, still trying to process what had just happened.

meanwhile, Master Hand emerged from the sky, pointing at Boy, who lie on the ground. “Annnnd the midget with a bubble is down and out! The red headed kid makes it further on! Hooray for child abuse!”

Masaru rolled his eyes at Master hand’s comments, the words becoming white noise as he focused on the kid. Did he just give up his chances of winning...for me? Starting to feel guilt in his stomach, he punched himself in the gut. Then again, and again for a third time for good measure. It didn’t help him feel any less guilty. Cursing to himself, he would try and grab the boy by his ankle and pull the blob toward the gateway with him.

A hero was about standing tall and proud over the enemy, but Masaru’s victory tasted as bitter as defeat.

Bowie let Masaru drag him, after all he could barely move with all of the damage he had sustained. there was nothing left fueling his movements. He also saw his best friend get dragged along as well, but Bowie closed his eyes so he didn't have to look at the corpse of Blob. It was too painful. Everything was too painful, including the pain which had crept in after his adrenaline rush was over. The pain was starting to become unbearable when suddenly... it stopped. The physical pain was gone. The emotional pain, would not be so easily gotten rid of, not without Blob.

Bowie opened his eyes to see that they were back at the main hub, but not only that, Blob was staring straight down at him. "B-blob? Is it really you" Blob jumped on top of Bowie a few times to assure him it was no trick. After a few stunned moments, Bowie hugged Blob tighter than anything he had ever done before. It was really his friend, back and better than ever. Everything had healed once they came back to this main gate. He cried tears of joy, happy to have his best friend back. "Blob I promise not to let you go through anything like that ever again."

After he was done showering his best friend with affection, he got up and turned to Masaru. "Hey Masaru, listen. I'm sorry I didn't just accept your offer to forfeit in the first place. If I did, none of this would have happened. I wouldn't have almost..." His sentence trailed off, unable to face what he'd done. "Well anyway, I wish you luck with the rest of the tournament. I hope you achieve your paradise, it sounds like a lot of kids are counting on you to be their hero."

The tank was hijacked and had, to Sturm's displeasure, and had shot the other light tank. However, Sturm knew something that Geralt didn't. A light tank could only bring another light tank down to 45 health in a shot, and since both would have the same stats from Sturm's power boost..

The Light Tank fired at the other, doing only a little above half of their maximum health, with a 4 appearing above the damaged Light Tank's health. Sturm raised his other hand, pointing at the water surrounding the stage. In the water, a large naval unit appeared. A Battleship specifically; a large ship with a whole lot of turret-like weapons on it.

Sturm then pointed at the hijacked Tank and bellowed. " BOMBERS, SPLIT UP! ONE DESTROYS THAT ANTI-AIR HE'S HIDING UNDER, THE OTHER THAT TRAITOROUS TANK! WARSHIP! TAKE DOWN THAT SWORDSMAN AS SOON AS HIS COVER IS BLOWN! "

The Bombers got to work, flying in the air until both were hovering high above the hijacked tank and the anti-air Geralt was hiding under. The first bomber let loose another set of missiles, nuking the Light Tank, with the damaged light tank finishing the traitor off.

The other Bomber dropped bombs on the Anti-Air again. The Artilleries rotated themselves to aim towards the Anti-Air, disallowing them to fire. The warship prepared to fire at Geralt as soon as the Anti-Air he was hiding under was destroyed. @Shen: King of the Mist

[Intelligience 8, Perception 4] The Courier saw Sly head off the stage from the explosion, but he didn't see the Raccoon falling as the smoke cleared. The Courier figured the Raccoon was nimble enough to climb the bottom of the stage, and as the Courier landed, he looked to the other side of the stage. Predicting correctly, The Courier saw the Raccoon climb the stage from the other side, with a smoke bomb in hand. The Courier then had an idea. The Courier lowered his Ranger Sequoia and threw out a flashbang at Sly. Doing nearly the same trick he had done with Link, the Courier fired five shots; Four at each of Sly's arms and legs, one at the smoke bomb he was holding, and fired the last shot of his revolver at the Flashbang he threw, limiting Sly's options. The Courier gave Sly whole three things to avoid, a feat normally impossible for the common being. @ThAtGuY101 (I assume Sly climbed the bottom of the stage onto the other side, if not I can edit this)

The Terrarian made a frowning emote as they put all the food back in the Defender's forge and mined the Forge, absorbing it into their inventory. The Terrarian didn't really want to fight such a cute thing, but now it seems he had no choice. Well, it has to be done now. The Terrarian flew up on their Celestial Starboard and zoomed into the Gateway, heading into the arena. @Gamingfan
