FRISK DREEMURR

It was proven to be a person, a figure coming down with the lightning they controlled, bypassing T-1000 Frisk with a proclamation.

“You make a mistake in opposing Sumeragi.”

The teenager had pivoted, swinging her pavise to knock back a sudden sword strike, the powerful blow glancing off of red magic. A few flakes of determination were scratched off of the shield as Frisk braced her legs. The incoming kick buckled her, but she remained standing in defiance, deflecting another slash, pushing back against the force. The shield held, for now.

“Okay,” Frisk replied, and a sledgehammer materialized in her other hand, extending out a few feet to form a large and bulky head - more like a war hammer. “Tell me why.”

The girl suddenly blasted forward, a streak of red momentarily burning the ground where her shoes had slid, magic propelling her forward for a burst-hit with the pavise before Frisk followed up with a rapid swing, the sledgehammer heavily slinging to catch the mysterious man in the side.

“Woman,” Chara whispered.

“What?”

“He’s a she.”

Okay, whatever, Frisk didn’t care either way.

Was V2... actually a murderer? His words seemed to affirm the allegations, but it sounded to Terrence like he had been in a war, rather than just killing for fun…

Terrence couldn’t keep his attention in one place. He hung closely onto Akira’s words and claims, onto V2’s counter, onto her rebuttal… he paid careful attention to Tracy’s pleading, Thorn’s words, and the melodic offering of the Bard.
What Kyota and his friend were saying… and combined with what Tracy had said... there was someone up there, and there was also an unknown amount of Sumeragi to deal with within. Just up in the hole Amaterasu had been heading toward, just up the wall Blaze was beginning to scale...

But if he left now, it was becoming an increasing concern that this conflict between the officer and the machine was going to end with violence. He couldn’t just run off and allow someone to get hurt…

…But he also didn’t know WHO was in the clutches of the Sumeragi up there. He couldn't quite sense it from here...
If it was a kid like Kyota… then they could be dead any second. On the other hand, both Akira and V2 seemed very capable of handling themselves, if that battle had been anything to go off of.

Terrence clenched his fists- he’d made his decision, and he hoped it was the right one. Raising a hand, he pointed toward the Bard.

“She’s right,” he nodded, 'looking' around at the group. “V2, the truth is, I don’t know you. I don’t know where you’re from, or the extent of what you’ve done, or what exactly your character is. I do know we have a common enemy right now- I’d like to believe that you’re someone who acts in self defense- but I hope you’ll understand I can’t take it at face value. Not yet,” he said, the shell on his back shining and shifting around, more layers of dense, almost shieldlike panels of Bravery magic being applied to it. It was getting pretty bulky now, Terrence didn’t have much of a choice, there wasn’t exactly anywhere safe to set Tempura down, so she just had to stay on his back for now in the dome.
“And… listen- I think you’re a cool officer and all, really, I don’t think I know any cops in Voxis who can pull off the stuff you just did, and I can see you want to do the right thing- respect to you and all that- but… I think there are other things to prioritize right now,” he spoke to Akira, his grip on his katana hilt tightening. He just had to… hope that one of them had gotten through. Hope that a bloody combat wasn’t about to erupt behind him as he scaled that wall.

Running forward, he launched himself up, his calves glowing a brilliant orange as he followed after Amaterasu, using his physical prowess to scale his way toward the hole as quickly as he could. The shell didn’t seem to hinder him too much, despite its magical density, as his also-orange blade erupted outward from the katana hilt, the boy using it as a sort of climbing axe to great effect.

"GoGOGOGOGO!" Tempura cheered him ferociously.

District Wall – VS Blade
The masked Adept stepped back as Frisk pushed against the sword strike, before leaping into the air in response to the girl's burst of speed. The swordfighter's boots pressed against the pavise, leaping off to avoid the incoming sledgehammer, flipping backward through the air – when she swung the katana downward, and segments of the weapon suddenly broke apart, raining sharp blades upon both Frisk and her metallic counterpart, some embedding into the ground around them.

"The weak yield to the strong," she spoke, thrusting the segmented sword into one of the scabbards attached to her hip. "It's by embracing Adeptkind's superiority under the Great Sumeragi and eradicating the powerless that prosperity has graced us. To defy Sumeragi is to defy the inevitable – evolution. To attempt to hold back evolution is to foster evil. And wherever evil takes root..."

Her katana was drawn once more, completely restored. Lightning faintly coursed throughout it.

"...I, Blade, must purge it."

Raising an arm to the sky, another lightning bolt crashed down on Blade, who was seemingly unaffected in the slightest – and at the same time, identical bolts of lightning fell from the heavens upon each scattered segment of the sword, lingering in place. After a moment, they would all dissipate, before Blade herself thrust the katana forward, launching a powerful high-speed condensed wave of electricity at Frisk.

District Wall – Climb
Amaterasu's technique allowed her to get past the incoming missiles, a bright and loud explosion going off below her, obscuring sight of the ascending Blaze and Terrence below. Entering the hole in the wall, the goddess stepped onto a grey conveyor belt that was quick to tug her forward. Three Sentry Units –one wielding a chainsaw, the other two shields and gatling guns– awaited her, placed at an ascending ramp on the left, another along the center of the belt just before Ammy, and the last coming in from the lower atop a slope in the belt.

Some debris was also scattered about, and a look up would reveal the cause to be a series of holes in each of the floors overhead. The sound of footsteps and whirring machinery alike came from above, but there were more immediate things to worry about, as the chainsaw robot was already dashing to bring its weapon down on Amaterasu, while both of the gatling machines at the extremities of the belt opened fire, sending dual streams of yellow energy bullets at their target.

Meanwhile, the cloud of smoke that had kicked up above Blaze and Terrence's gave way as another barrage of missiles rained down on them, about twenty or so in total, spread evenly among each intruder. From the side of the smoke cloud descended a relatively small but damaged machine neither of them had seen before: the Bomber left behind in the assault Tracy's friend had carried out. It stopped relatively high up, before a hatch opened on the bottom of the machine, and it began to spit out small yet numerous bombs on both Blaze and Terrence.

City Slums
At Kiwi's sudden break into song, both Kyota and Jin stared wide-eyed in surprise. Before long, both began to move to the music, and even clapped a little once the impromptu performance was done.

"That song... was awesome, bro!" Kyota praised.

"It was very inspiring," Jin agreed. "Did you come up with that on the spot? Something so optimistic... it's almost like the Muse of Hope's own songs!"

Before they could get into things too much, Terrence gave his words to the group and promptly left to climb the wall. In the distance, they could see Blaze wandering off as well. That left a little over half the ragtag group still here.

"I'm not sure what the rest of you plan on doing from here, but..." Jin spoke up. "If you need somewhere to stay or hide –regardless of what happens up there– Kyota, me, and a couple friends have a hideout to the southwest that Sumeragi hasn't discovered yet. Look for a plaza with a broken fountain and tons of broken chain link fences."

"We'll try to be on the lookout for you dudes if you wanna come over later!" Kyota added with a nod.

FRISK DREEMURR

Frisk’s swing had turned her back around, and as the Falcon’s blade came down, splitting into segmented pats, the spiked pavise caught the brunt aimed toward Frisk, who held the shield up against it, the defense battered but still strong.

The woman spoke as she recalled her blade, then brought it back as normal. What followed was a display of lightning. Frisk was reminded of her adopted father. When he’d first tapped into the Orion Force, dozens of lightning bolts had hailed from the sky and converged on his body, the energy unallowed to dissipate as though anchored. The same idea here applied.

Frisk’s sledgehammer dissipated. Too big, too bulky. She could do better with something else.

Then came the attack, a condensed wave of the gathered lightning, as though captured in a bottle. The energy jettisoned forward in a powerful attack. Frisk stepped away from her pavise, leaving it hovering to take the blow. “You made a mistake, too,” she told her opponent, a sword identical to Blade’s materializing from her palm, the only difference being its coloration.

The wave battered the pavise, shattering the determination barrier. Its magic dissipated, but the attack had lost much of its integrity, and Frisk leapt over it deftly as crimson magic formed on her forearms and calves, buffing her speed and agility for the fight.

With a flip, Frisk swung down at Blade, expecting the woman to block with her own sword. Frisk’s weapon would segment similar to Blade’s, each segment clashing down before several circular flat platforms would appear all around them on the roof, glowing red. A moment later, massive knives would surge upward from below their feet, extending seven feet into the air.

“I’m not weak.”

Boboiboy - Blaze

Slow and steady wins the race. Slow and steady wins the race... Slow and steady is so damn boring...

Blaze mumbled obscenities under his breath as he continued his climb, melting more and more holes as he went upwards. He was making progress, but not nearly as much as he would have preferred. There were many holes burned into the wall under him, creating an artificial climbing wall on accident as he approached a cloud of smoke.

"Eh?"

A machine of some sort?

Suddenly, missiles and bombs galore game a flying! While Blaze was craving conflict, this one with him being precarious perched on a wall? Not a fan. Growling without the use of his hands in an accurate form, he puffed up his cheeks. Inhaling air, he then belched out a focused blast of heat, practically looking like a laser. The blast swerved from to the left and right with the flailing of his head, intercepting and melting the missiles so they would detonate, the beam steady enough to hit past them and strike the immediate bombs around him too!

Blaze panted for a couple seconds from all the exhaling he did. Gripping hold of his notch in the wall, he used it as a springboard to lunge upwards, conjuring his fire chakrams in either hand. He gashed into the wall with the spinning disks, slicing into the exterior.

"Raaah!"

Ignoring the drone entirely, he fired off another thruster burst of flame from his boot, flying off the wall. Spinning his flame chakrams at his side like propellers, he would maintain his speed as long as he could after his thruster burned out. He wouldn't let that Terrence dweeb beat him up there!

V2

The robot was calmed by the music. V2 lay deep in thought as others spoke, speaking of trust and morality. All the machine could think of was... they had chosen the right side.

They spoke suddenly. "I understand if you guys don't trust me. But for now, our problems go beyond the issue of my past- but rather, to the future of this world. If the mistrust persists after the defeat of the Sumeragi, I will leave. But until then... we can't afford to split up. None of us could defeat them alone. Which brings me to the wall."

The second V model turned to the wall. More lightning erupted from it, as light and chaos erupted at various points along it. They then turned to Thorn. "You mentioned that you had a way to get us up there, yes? I would very much appreciate it if you would do that now."

Just when Terrence was beginning to feel good about the progress he was making up the side of the wall- missiles and bombs overhead, about ten or so of the former pointed directly at him, about to home in and blast him right off of the side. If there was this much firepower focused on him right now… he hoped that didn’t say anything bad about the state of Amaterasu in there.

Pulling himself more tightly against the wall, he began his counter- from within the shell on his back, a series of orange fists began to materialize and shoot outward, a few dozen of them homing in on the cluster of explosives heading toward him- some of them were a bit flashier than others, spinning and swinging uppercut-style in an almost boastful manner, while others were more elegant and efficient, simple open palms that slammed their way into the noses of incoming missiles.

The longer he stayed on this wall, the more of that he was inviting. He needed to get up into that hole, and it had to be now.

From the underside of the shell, more magical hands shot outward- but these ones had arms attached, anchoring themselves into a wall for a brief moment, before beginning to push and pull Terrence upward like a well-oiled machine. A rapid cycle of planting themselves into the material and practically throwing his body upward, approaching the hole Amaterasu had disappeared into at a much more efficient pace than before… it was a lot faster than just using his own arms and legs… though it felt a bit lazier. Not that that mattered.

Boboiboy - Thorn

"Okay~"

Somehow knowing what Thorn intended, the Tumbosaur bowed up, opening its salivating jaws wide. It's three pink tongues shot at V2, encircling his metallic frame. It pulled him in, gripping onto him firmly with its sturdy mouth as the maws closed. This left V2's head and feet exposed.

"Giddyup!"

"Kreeeee!!"

The plantoid roared as it rushed toward Tracy, lowering its head as it charged her head on. With a flip of its head, it scooped her from down below, throwing her up and over it. A vine snaked up and snagged her foot, pulling her right to the back of the beast, right behind Thorn, who gave her a wink.

"Now sit tight and have your hands, arms, feet and legs inside the tumbosaur at all times!"

With that, Thorn pointed forward towards the wall, the beast they were fastened on raced towards the structure. It leapt on it, keeping the same pace running vertically as it did on the ground! The childish elemental held onto the neck of the creature, feet draped around it's shoulders as it made quick work of the distance.

"Woooooooo!" He cheered, the raptor breaking 40 mph. "I can't believe I never tried this before!"

Akira Howard
Akira could barely hear her own thoughts over the chorus of pleas for the robot's case. It had shot at her! ...But did she have the right to go against the rest of the group's judgement? These were mostly children that didn't even know the robot. ...But how was she any better? She kept doing the wrong thing... making the wrong choices. What if she was the reason everyone around her kept dying?

She was getting overwhelmed. The officer lowered the gun and held her head in her hands. It was so hard making decisions. Any other time, she would have asked Yoseph or Olive to decide for her. But Olive had turned traitor now, and she couldn't reach out to HQ now. Frustrated, and reminded of her compounded failures, Akira watched weakly, eyes watering as the killer robot was picked up by the tyrannosaurus flytrap.

She wished her father were here. She wished her brother were here. But she couldn't rely on them. Not anymore.

Akira watched the monster strode towards the wall, and her eyes shifted up to focus on the many strikes of lightning that were striking the wall. She put away the manacles, and the X-Baton shifted into its primary configuration. She took a step towards the wall- and then another. Her speedwalk picked up its pace into a run, and her run turned into a sprint. The Type-R Legion materialized and rushed ahead as it beelined towards the hole in the wall.

As it neared the end of its (quite lengthy) leash, the Legion wrapped the Astral Chain around its forearm and gave it a powerful tug. Officer Akira Howard was lifted off her feet, and soared after the chained chimera. As she passed it by, it maintained its hold on the chain, using it to swing Akira around and build up even more momentum. When it released, the policewoman was flung the rest of the way, barely cresting the ledge. She rolled to slow herself down, before catching herself in a crouched position. Her Legion soon joined her, as the officer analyzed the situation.

She needed to blow off some steam.

Metal Reflect Slime

Another opponent revealed itself, but unlike the robots and espiers that it had been fighting before, this one seemed quite a bit stronger. The Metal Reflect Slime reformed after the lightning blast. Its form was different now. Instead of a metallic copy of Frisk, the Metal Reflect Slime transformed in a metallic copy of Blade. It rushed towards the real Blade, and would begin to perfectly copy and mimic the moves the Falcon was using. Not to attack Blade, but to counter its attacks with its own attacks!

Tracy Rinehart

The policewoman appeared unswayed by Tracy's pleas. The girl glanced nervously over her shoulder at the flashes of lightning going at the top of the tower, but still did not budge from her place between the officer and V2. She was about to try once more, when someone else spoke up. The person dressed as a medieval archer stepped up. That's right, they had shown up with the policewoman to the fight. But instead of speaking, they... sang?

Tracy almost seemed to fall into a trance as she listened to Bard's song, swaying side to side to the tune and half humming along. The song ended with the Bard's plea for everyone to work together. Tracy blinked, shaking her head and coming out of the slight trance. She felt warmer, and the stress of this whole situation felt just that much easier to bear.

"Giddyup!"

"Kreeeee!!"

Tracy gasped and stepped back as Thorn's Tumbosaur rushed towards her. The Nobleman of Crossout appeared before Tracy, sword at the ready... but the plant monster simply passed through the spirit like it was nothing.
"Eep!" Tracy exclaimed as the plant monster flipped her onto its back, right behind Thorn. "Th-Thorn! Wait!"

"Now sit tight and have your hands, arms, feet and legs inside the tumbosaur at all times!"

The plant monster shot off, and Tracy reflexively wrapped her arms around Thorn. She hugged the teen as the plant monster shot straight up the side of the wall, and made the mistake of glancing over her shoulder. The ground was rapidly getting further and further away. No, don't focus on that. Battle ahead, get ready for that. While hugging Thorn, Tracy drew a card from her deck. She couldn't see it, but knowing what the other cards in her hand were and the pattern she arranged them, Tracy was able to blindly place a different card on her duel disk. A face-down duel monsters card appeared, trailing behind the Tumbosaur as it ran up the side of the wall.
"Ohmygod, ohmygod, ohmygaaaawddddd..." Tracy moaned, trying to focus on her own cards and keep a grip on Thorn.

District Wall – VS Blade
Blade showed no reaction to Frisk's mimicry of her own weapon. She leapt upward with great speed and power as her opponent came down, and the two katanas clashed in midair. A burst of electricity jumped out from Blade's weapon as they did, though it was intercepted by the arrival of the Metal Reflect Slime, now copying Blade, who once again showed little reaction save for a glance at the trap monster.

"I'm not weak."

"Yet you fight on the side of those who are."

The masked swordswoman then seemed to unnaturally stall in the air for a moment, and she made to suddenly grab at Frisk's arm with her right hand, unleashing another burst of lightning at her in the same motion, while the metallic copy grabbed Blade's sword-wielding left arm. In response, the Adept twisted in midair, pressing her armored boots against the solid surface of her duplicate, and kicked off to send herself higher into the air – and, in turn, the slime down to the ground towards the incoming attack, paired with another electric shock at the monster as a parting gift.

Should Blade's grab on Frisk connect, she'd proceed to throw the girl downward toward the massive crimson knives that emerged from below. If the grab missed, however, she would instead twist again to kick her foe in the side and toward the outer edge of the wall, remaining vigilant for any counterattacks.

District Wall – Climb
Blaze and Terrence's combined efforts took care of the volley of missiles, setting off another chain of explosions overhead. They both came to the same conclusion – climbing at their current pace wouldn't be effective, and they needed to kick things up a notch. The fire elemental burst upward with a stream of flame, almost like a rocket, while the Bravery SOUL-user began to sling himself to his destination through his magic. Familiar faces were speeding up to them as they climbed: Thorn, Tracy, and V2 all atop the green elemental's Tumbosaur.

Defenses along the wall still remained, however. The Bomber drone, having received no further damage, zipped over to the approaching plant dinosaur, hatch on the bottom opening up once more to drop a barrage of bombs onto the tightly grouped team. Terrence and Blaze had both slipped past its range at this point, though a pylon-like machine embedded in the wall awaited the two a little higher up, the generator on its head charging up to then release a wide wave of electricity toward both of them. The hole in the wall was just beyond the robot.

Meanwhile, Akira narrowly flung herself up to the opening Amaterasu had crawled into, landing atop a conveyor belt. She was met with the sight of three Sentry Units launching their attacks on the wolf – two firing with their gatling guns from afar from the back corners of the room, while the third brought its whirring chainsaw down on the goddess. At the officer's arrival, the air above her distorted, and a soldier appeared in a flash of violet light. He hovered in midair, donning purple armor and robes, when he brought both hands down at Akira, and a barrage of violet psychic orbs began to shoot down at her, each one bursting brightly with the same energy.

Akira Howard
The mystical canine was already up here- figured. Yet before Akira could come to her aid, another enemy made itself known. She shot a quiet, angry look towards the Psi-User, and then took off down the conveyor belt, avoiding the onslaught of psychic attacks.

Meanwhile, her Legion zipped around behind the psychokinetic, swift as a blur, and attempted to take out the Sumeragi sympathizer with a quick kick to the back of the head.

Akira was headed towards one of the gatling sentries that oppressed the white wolf. Her X-Baton shifted into a Gladius, the blocky legionic energies enhancing the heavy weapon to act more like a blade. The RAVEN captain leapt at the closest robot, over its shield, and attempted to drive the powerful weapon down into the machine's head.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

Amaterasu
As soon as her paws touched the floor, the wolf felt her body shift. The floor was moving?
She wouldn't be given much time to think about it as multiple robots place their focus on her. It seemed these animated hunks of metal saw anything as an enemy, even if it wasn't human.
Amaterasu snarled as one attempted to slice her with its weapon, spinning back from its first strike and blocking the second using her Thunder Edge. The unit pushed it's chainsaw against it, locking the two in a weapon struggle. At the same time, different units took potshots at Amaterasu as she charged energy, surprising her. As soon as the first bullet made contact, it and a green film sudden appeared around Ammy, and shattered apart just as fast. Her first level of godhood had been broken, but in turn the sun goddess very briefly became invincible with all the other bullets simply phasing through her body.
Ammy released her energy in her glaive as a powerful uppercut that would send the Chainsaw Unit up high. She would jump after it, changing weapons so that she now wielded her Tundra Beads Rosary. One end would wrap around the unit, freezing its surface. Amaterasu would grab the other end, kick off the unit, and swing it around! The chainsaw unit would be used as a makeshift flail, swung around the room to slam into the other robots while forcing it to tank the gatling unit's stray bullets!

Boboiboy - Thorn & Blaze

The Tumbosaur was making great progress, zipping upwards like it was hunting prey deep in the jungle. As the bombs appeared, to drop from the robot above them, the Tumbosaur didn't seem to recognize any danger and failed to change course or alter speed. This left the burden on Thorn's shoulders.

"Oh? Catch? I can do that!"

Instead of destroy the bombs, Thorn lifted both of his hands up, despite Tracy being wrapped around his body for support. Curling his fingers, vines sprouted up the the Tumbosaur's necks, flying upwards- slapping bombs out of the way! He was knocking them to the sides to fall elsewhere, making a path for them to proceed up. Brain catch up to his body, he realized his hands were off, he chuckled, looking back at Tracy.

"Hehe, no hands!"

He was very responsible.

.
..
...

Oh you have got to be kidding me

Blaze's momentum began to petter out, the elemental forced to clutch onto the wall once more, digging the fire chakrams into the surface. This was getting tiring. Wasn't getting places high cyclone's job?? While he was busy complaining to himself, a wave of electricity found itself fired off to him. Without a means to defend himself nor flight, he was a sitting duck.

"Oh! Blaze, that you?"

Thorn called over to him, their mount quickly approaching. Blaze looked back for half a second, the tumbosaur yet again not stopping for the dangerous electricity ahead. This all was too much for Blaze to handle. He was struck full on by the electricity, voltage coursing through his body. At the same time, the tumbosaur struck him with its head, pushing him forwards.

...it would seem Blaze took the full on brunt for the entire entourage, his chakrams helping to act as a sort of ground accidentally on the wall - said chakrams violently skidding across the wall as Blaze was pushed up, leaving a pair of long orange gashes.

"Blaaaaze! my bro! Buddy? You good?"

Blaze's muffled cries could not be heard over the sound of his scraping chakrams against the wall.

"...yeah he's probably okay." Thorn waved off, shrugging it off nervously.

This quickly bundle of moves had them going straight towards the hole in the wall. The tumbosaur leaped up through it, and by proxy, headbutted a rather fried looking Blaze upwards too.

"We made it!! ...I think?" Thorn cocked his head.

The tumbosaur opened it's mouth, unraveling it's tongues around V2, plopping him down on the ground near Blaze in a pool of saliva like sap. Despite being a bit crumpled, Blaze struggled to his feet, cracking his knuckles before glaring at Thorn.

"If you do that again treehugger, there's only gonna be one us left standing today!"

"Don't be silly! We have a whole team to stand by us!"

Blaze, bewildered by Thorn's lack of grasping the meaning of his words, was dumbstruck for a couple seconds. Groaning over dramatically, Blaze rolled his eyes, turning away from the group and facing the new place they found themselves in.

"I'm going up. Just don't get any ideas."

Blaze turned to March his way through the further conveyor, Thorn looking over at his two passengers in the meantime, unaware of any danger present.

"You guys doing good? Hopefully you guys aren't carsick- tumbosaur sick? ...Tumbosick?"

Terrence looked on in horror as Blaze was dragged upward by that creature, and also took the entirety of that electrical attack. Now, Terrence had not forgotten about Blaze’s little bout of almost-hitting-him-with-a-giant-fireball earlier… but he was beginning to think Thorn was actually the more frightening one between the two. He hoped Blaze was at least a little shock-proof, not that it looked that way.

He didn’t want to suffer the same fate.

With one final push, he had the several magical arms on his shell shove him directly off the side of the wall and upward, just outside of the hole, the extra limbs dissipating in the process. He hoped it would be enough distance to stay out of that pylon’s range.

Only one challenge remained… on the outside of the wall, at least. His senses were telling him that the dog was, in fact, alive in there, but in the midst of combat. Three more of those sentries were attacking, and Terrence had his eyes (not really) on one of the gatling-gun users.

Quickly, he tucked his body into something akin to a fetal position, trying to make himself very small, head almost retreating into the shell. A layer of protective magic spread over his body to compensate for the fact that he was not, in fact, a real turtle, as another hand materialized beside him- this one beind significantly larger than any previous one. It grasped onto the side of the shell, before flinging Terrence like a frisbee- making the boy hurtle rapidly toward the nearest gun-wielding sentry in the corner. If his attack succeeded, he’d be barrelling into the machine shell-first.

FRISK DREEMURR

“Yet you fight on the side of those who are.”

“They’re-” Frisk began, before her arm was suddenly grasped, carrying with it a surge of lightning. Frisk’s teeth rattled as she was blasted by the attack, her copied sword falling from her hand, and Blade threw her down toward her own attack.

The teenager, despite her ears ringing again with smoke drifting up from her clothes, twisted in the air, sliding between two of her giant knives. Just as she reached the ground, Frisk grabbed the handle of one of the blades and stopped it, reinforcing the giant knife as she landed deftly, rearing up her new weapon while de-summoning the other.

“They’re human,” she finally said, shaking off the tingling still in her arm. “You call them Minos like it somehow makes them lesser. Maybe that just makes it easier for you to kill them, right? A fellow human being is one thing, but an infestation of rats? Except the rats are people with a subhuman name.”

Frisk shook her head, crackles of determination magic echoing down her arms and up her elbows, pumping into the giant knife, which began to glow brightly, empowered with more magic. If she kept this up for much longer, she’d start exhausting her mana... might be better to act more conservative for a moment, let that stamina build back up.

“Just because you’re strong, that doesn’t make you right.”

The feeling of something clawed at the surface of her mind. A tiny voice was whispering to be let out. A dreadfully familiar sensation.

If you let me out, you can win this fight... If you let me out, you won't need to worry any more...

Frisk mentally pushed back a dark reflection as she kept her attention focused on Blade, still holding up her giant knife. “The Sumeragi are just the latest assholes claiming to know what’s good for everyone else. I’ve done nothing but fight personality cults like yours for a while now - and I can tell you that it won’t last, and that there’s another way. Why do any of this?”

She held off from attacking, trying to reason with the woman. Maybe behind the cold exterior she could find something different...

With another heel turn mid-air, the miraculous magician pulled a miracle-branded bucket of popcorn from between himself and his magician's cloak, greatly enjoying the banter going on between the barely-stable gang of outsiders he was now a part of. But just when it was getting good, some really pleasant music came along, in the form of one of this group's members breaking out into an impromptu song.. it didn't exactly fit the scene at hand, but it sure was nice to listen to regardless!

The singing of the individual with the green hat seemed to have a calming effect on everyone present, including even Terry himself - though that calmness wasn't exactly tamed for long as the giddyness of the magical hero returned upon everyone else taking off. He was just about to leave to the top of the wall himself when- ..hang on, that same singer from before was now all alone out here. Well, that was just kind of rude to leave the negotiator hanging! Nonchalantly moving the bucket behind his back to have it disappear once more to who knows where, Hagen had floated on back down to the ground before gauging the height of the obstacle before himself.

And with a snap of the right hand, a wonderful plan had formulated itself in his mind. Sure, he could just snatch the musician up and fly together with them up onto that wall.. but that was boring! And boring was for nerds! So, Miracle did as any sensible man would - throw a smoke bomb ahead and break into a sudden sprint. His left arm was extended forward, aiming to grab the Bard and yank them alongside, before leaping straight into the clearing smoke - where he intended on making a cannon appear. One used for stage performances, that simply need a tug of the string to shoot out its participants over great distances. And that string pull was rather easy to accomplish with the intent of aligning his fingers before both himself and his plus one would plummet into the barrel.

"Giddyup, buttercup! We're taking flight! Destination: The top of that wall!"

Metal Reflect Slime

Blade's counterattack sent the metal slime flying downwards. It splatted against the ground, but quickly reformed back into it's copy of Blade. Once more, the Slime rushed towards Blade with the intent of copy the warrior's moves to perfectly counter the fighter.

Despite the missiles and lightning, somehow they made it to large hole in the wall. Others had beaten them there. The police woman and blindfolded teen were there, and so was... a dog? All three were taking on robots, the same type that had been with the patrol outside. On their way, they had managed to snag another passenger. The red clothed twin of Thorn, one that appeared to be (understandably) upset at being shoved through a lightning barrier. Tracy took a deep breath, before giving Thorn an irritated shove.

"Thorn! What was that?! You need to be more careful, you could have fallen off!" Tracy said. She turned her attention towards Blaze, but the boy was already stomping off in the direction of the robots. Despite taking that electricity blast to the face, he had just... walked it off. How tough was he?
"I'm okay..." Tracy said, taking another look around the factory area. Their group weren't the first ones here. The hole was made from someone on the outside, breaking in. And there was a hole in the ceiling too, and by the amount of debris below it, it tunneled up multiple floors. Was this really all Sadie's doing? What sort of powers did she have?!

"Up..." Tracy said. She looked to Thorn, and pointed to the hole in the ceiling. "We need to go further up!"
Tracy took a moment to look back at her duel disk and cards she had drawn, drawing yet another. She quickly placed a card from her hand on her duel disk, and turned her attention back to the battle.

District Wall – VS Blade
As Frisk laid out her argument, seeking to reason with her opponent, Blade reached the apex of her midair boost, sword reared backward. She remained silent as the girl spoke, blue visor eyes looking down at Frisk, but once she was done and the Adept began to fall once more, Blade gave her reply.

"My directive, just like Sumeragi's order, is absolute. For centuries, Sumeragi has adapted, evolved, and led in accordance to the shifts in the world around it – and it is at the front of a new age now. Minos, for decades, have been known to be the inferior species that must be wiped out to bring about the next step in mankind's history. If you cannot see the prosperity that will come from our supremacy, even wielding such power yourself, then you are a fool!"

In part, it was a repeat of what Blade had said earlier – she was incredibly taciturn about her role and Sumeragi's goals, far more than most humans would, perhaps to an abnormal degree. No indication was yet given at just who or what was giving out these orders, either.

The Adept's weapon then pointed down, and in a flash, Blade shot back down to the roof, striking her katana into the structure. A wave of lightning shot outward from her position, and just as quickly as she'd landed, the swordswoman was already upon Frisk again, rushing forward to then dash right past the girl, before lashing out with her sword at her target's back, weapon crackling with electricity.

Unbeknownst to the fighter, support for Frisk was already directly en route to the top of the wall, both Kiwi and Miracle flying in to help out. As they came within range, however, the three Mini MLRS laid along the edge became active again, and each one began to spit out over a dozen missiles in quick succession, all homing in to intercept the airborne duo.

District Wall – Ground Unit Transport
Akira's gladius strike hit its mark, though not as cleanly as she had been aiming for. The movement of the belt, coupled with shifting from the Sentry Unit, caused the officer's swing to cut into the robot's left shoulder, causing the weapon attached to that arm to sputter. It wasn't fully severed, either, and the machine was quick to react by swinging the large shield in its other arm to slam the soldier into the wall to its right and pin her there.

The Psi-User her Legion moved to attack wasn't quite fast enough to react, especially in the middle of aiming at the officer, and was swiftly knocked out by the chimera. He landed in front of V2, skidding along the floor, before he began to be dragged away by the conveyor belt. Fortunately for the soldier, he wasn't the target of the nearby Amaterasu's attack, her weapons flashing upon the chainsaw-wielding Sentry Unit, leaving it struggling to break out of the goddess' Tundra Beads. It was flung around in its semi-frozen state, tanking shots here and there, before it broke apart against the rightmost Sentry Unit, whose guard broke as its shield was knocked aside.

This left it vulnerable to the inbound Terrence, who had flung himself toward the machine. His attack was made more effective with Amaterasu's help, the front of the robot caving in as it fell on its back right in front of the boy. Somehow, it still remained active, light on the 'head' blinking before its left arm moved to fire a burst of close-range energy bullets at Terrence.

While the battle went on, hidden panels on the ceiling flipped open to reveal two turrets. One of them swiveled toward Thorn and Tracy, letting loose a constant stream of pink energy shots in their direction, while the other turned in Blaze's direction, aiming to blindside the elemental as he meandered toward the conveyor that led up, which was occupied by Akira and her Sentry Unit foe for the moment.

Akira!
"Ah!!"

The machine swiveled around, slamming the officer into the wall and pinning her there! She reeled, but soon regained her bearings and shot a glare at the machine before tugging on the astral chain. The Type-R Sword Legion followed her beckon, zipping behind the sentry unit that had her trapped. Its blades burst into existence, and it raised one arm for a moment- for dramatic effect, of course. Then, it slashed at the machine's back, bisecting the bot cleanly.

She pushed the shield away, allowing herself to fall to the ground. Akira hadn't ignored the turrets that sprung up. She was able to get the Legion to the closer one- the one that threatened to shoot at Blaze. It was hardly able to get one round off before the Legion made to grab it and rip it out of the ceiling. The policewoman then turned to look at the elemental with a concerned expression on her face.

"Are you alright?"

FRISK DREEMURR

“They always play hard-to-get...” Frisk muttered to herself, before she slashed downward, striking the large knife into the ground before her, just as Blade’s electric wave rolled on over - and the knife somehow cut the attack, electricity sparking over the weapon as the attack around Frisk dissipated.

Blade flashed past her, and her strike came in towards Frisk’s back, but the T-1000 was already on it, its metal sword clashing against Blade’s, electricity pilfering into it, to no visual effect as Frisk was already whirling around, swinging the massive knife horizontally, still glowing with a charged power Frisk had yet to expel.

“It’s a road paved in blood,” the teenager said. “I know what that road leads to.”

She raised a hand, and a transparent, nearly invisible sphere of red formed around Blade - another special move Frisk had developed simply called ‘encase.’

It would trap Blade in a momentary time loop, leaving her to stutter in place for a few precious moments, in which Frisk would drive her large knife forward. Not to impale the indoctrinated Falcon, the knife’s edge dulled to be more of a blunt weapon. It would instead carry with it a heavy force to try and knock the wind out of the opponent and deal some needed damage.

Quickly following this, Frisk would borrow a page out of Katherine’s playbook, the knife transforming, growing, and sealing around Frisk. Its form became more defined, a chute emerging from the front- then a second, and a third. They began to rapidly rotate.

It was a giant chaingun. Admittedly, this wasn’t something Frisk was exactly used to operating. In fact, it was only the second time she’d pulled it out after witnessing Katherine use it during training. But damn did it look cool.

Frisk trained the barrels on Blade, and fist-sized balls of Determination fired out by the dozens toward her at breakneck speeds.

Boboiboy - Blaze & Thorn

"Eh?"

Blaze was taken by surprised by the whirring to life of turrets. He didn't have the reaction time to intervene, especially with the recent wounds from the electricity he endured earlier. Thankfully, Akira was able to sweep in, eliminating the emplacement before it could do him any harm. He was taken aback, taken a few steps away as the policewoman showed up.

"Are you alright?"

That. From the person that kept calling him a kid and no respect to him at all till now? On top of that, she was trying to show him up by so obviously showing off? It got at him. Gritting his teeth, he shook his fist her.

"I saw it, I would have taken it out! Geez!" He barked. "Dont think this means you got anything on me lady. Watch! I'll burn them all away!"

Swelling up his chest, streaks of smoke started to pour from the corners of his mouth. After a moment, a massive plume of fire gushed from his gullet! He was aiming all over the conveyors and interior of the walls, his goal didn't seem very obvious, but he was intending to set the whole place around him ablaze, planning to create a sprawling fire hazard!

Meanwhile, Thorn rubbed his arms from the shove, sheepishly grinning at Tracy. He at least was glad she held on just fine.

"Up..." Tracy said. She looked to Thorn, and pointed to the hole in the ceiling. "We need to go further up!"

"Mm?"

Thorn turned around after hearing a strange whirring sound. Seeing a turret swivel their way, he stiffened up real fast.

"Eeek! I think you're right! Up up uppers!"

The tumbosaur was quick to oblige, leaping upwards as the gun let loose its ammunition. The creature leaped from one floor, to another, then another, keeping a steady rhythm with acute agility. It got pretty jerky jerky as it leaped left and right, diagonally scaling the hole as if it were a wall jumping challenge. Leaping past a strange dangling machine, it finally reached the hole at the top, hurling out before screeching to a halt.

"Woah! We made it! At the top and all safe and sound-"

Not safe. A girl with a beanie seemed to be firing off big red pellets at some guy with a mask? Was...she with sumeragi? Or was the mask guy? This was confusing. Looking back and forth between the two, he cupped his hands.

"Hey! You two! Which one of you is the good guy?!"

Terrence Boom
Terrence grit his teeth as a few energy bullets struck against the underbelly of his Bravery armor, forcing him to step backward a few times, leaning forward and tilting himself down to allow the much more reinforced shell to take the attacks. He was using a lot of magic in really rapid succession here- but really, the biggest energy sink was the shell. Usually it wasn’t so bad, but he’d applied so many additional layers to it at this point for the sake of keeping Tempura safe.

Still, his time fighting against the Chinese Messiah, alongside his training with the Xiangzi, meant he had plenty left in the tank. Terrence shuddered a bit, realizing that if he’d been transported here just a few months sooner… well, he would probably be dead right about now, if not much sooner. It was only pretty recent that he actually became an accomplished user of his SOUL.

That crazily strong dog had helped him crumple this machine nicely, but the job wasn’t done yet. Holding his katana hilt out in front of him, he allowed the blade to spark to life once again, a flash of orange carving into the floor, before Terrence made one giant lunge and upward slash, aiming to force the sentry and its gun to part ways- going right for the arm.

Turrets dropped down from the ceiling, but Thorn and his Tumbosaur were quick to react. Tracy clung tightly to Thorn once more as the trio ascended higher into the wall. On their way up, Tracy noticed the floating machine. Even in the moment it took to pass it by, she could see it was partially damaged, and mid-fall, but floating in mid-air anyway. A curious sight...

They made it to the top, but the scene up there was just as chaotic as the battle below! Sadie was locked in battle with some sort of blue cloaked, masked samurai. A clash of red magic energy and blue lightning! The Metal Reflect Slime was also still in the mix, taking the form of the masked warrior and working hard to defend Frisk.
"Sadie! The girl with the red magic! She's the good guy!" Tracy said, answering Thorn's question and pointing to Frisk. She then gestured towards the masked warrior.
"Penguin Ninja, now!" Tracy commanded. One of the face-down monster cards flipped up, revealing a new monster. In a puff of smoke, a small purple penguin appeared. It wore a black bandana around its neck, and was armed with a scroll. Water materialized out of the air, forming together and freezing in the shape of a pair of shuriken. The Duel monster threw the shuriken at Blade, and they shot through the air with streaks of blue magic behind them. The shuriken would magically hone in on Blade's sword and sword arm, and if they hit, would attempt to blast the sword out of Blade's hand and send it flying!

"I also summon this, The Great Emperor Penguin!" Tracy said, tributing her other face-down monster. The card vanished in a puff of golden pixels, and a blast of lightning struck where it once was! From the blast of lightning, a massive Penguin stepped forth. It stood over 10 ft tall, with pointed spikes on its beak and strange tusks on its breast. It roared loudly, and stared at the battle. Should Blade get some distance from Frisk, the monster would attack by creating spikes of ice that shot up from the ground! At the same time, Penguin Ninja ducked back towards the ground, and turned back into a face-down duel monster card.

V2

The V model was released from the tongue of the dinosaur, covered in saliva. Or at least, it seemed like saliva. The machine glitched and sparked for several seconds before the water dripped away and the machine shook it off, turning to look at the battle. There were robots, turrets, and all the marks of a battle- such as corpses.

A psi-user was on the floor next to the robot, who chose to ignore them, determining that someone else could handle it. Folding out their wings, V2 looked up and saw a turret turning towards them. The robot pulled out it's electric railcannon once more and simply fired a shot at it, determining that the coin-trick from before would be a waste.

They then jumped up to the turret and fired a... magnet? at it from a strange-looking gun, before firing many silvery nails at it, which proceeded to orbit around the magnet, hitting the turret multiple times. The moment they hit the ground, V2 swapped to a different nailgun and fired an enormous blast of superheated nails at the turret, which also began to orbit around the magnet, hitting it many times and aiming to melt right through it.

District Wall – VS Blade
Blade moved backwards at the Metal Reflect Slime's interruption, preparing to strike again, when a dome of red magic suddenly encased her completely. Frisk swung her massive knife around, aiming to smash into the Adept, and so she made to dash out of the way of the attack.

And then she dashed again.

And then she dashed again.

By the time she had reappeared in her original location for the third time, the knife finally met its mark, and it hit the swordswoman's side. A brief grunt came from her as she was sent flying backward, rolling along the roof roughly, before she drove her katana into the structure again, and she skid to a stop a small distance from where the massive machine had once been. Frisk didn't leave much breathing room either, as her next construct took the shape of a chaingun, and a storm of bullets fired out at Blade.

She began to sprint in a wide arc around Frisk, moving with superhuman speed while forcing the girl to keep up with the heavy weapon, and two new faces arrived atop a plant dinosaur. The girl in the yellow school uniform called out a couple of attacks, an ice shuriken soaring overhead as it slammed into Blade's arm – and it actually knocked the katana out of her hand. It clattered to the ground beside her, though it didn't seem to bother the Adept.

Leaping through the air, Blade jabbed an arm upward, a lightning bolt falling onto the woman just as an ice spike shot up from the ground, being melted apart immediately. Tracy's Great Emperor Penguin, on the other hand, would feel its hairs stand on end for a brief moment – when another lightning bolt crashed down on the monster, attracted by a shard of Blade's sword that had embedded into where she'd landed a moment earlier.

Just as quickly, the Adept's other arm moved behind her, and her discarded sword returned to her grip. In one swift motion, just as she touched down on solid ground again and entered a slide, she swung the weapon from afar toward Frisk. This time, the katana broke apart into a whip-like shape, electricity crackling between each segment, and it lashed out in a flash toward the girl's legs, aiming to trip, cut, and shock Frisk all at once.

Regardless of the effectiveness of the whip attack against the SOUL-user, Blade would then swing the weapon again toward Tracy and Thorn, threatening to cut and shock the two (as well as the Tumbosaur) over a remarkably long distance.

District Wall – Ground Unit Transport
Akira's Sword Legion made short work of the Sentry Unit attacking its Legionis, before it turned its focus to one of the newly-spawned turrets. It grabbed onto the machine, before it made to rip it clean off the ceiling it was attached to. Despite its superhuman physicality, it took a shocking amount of effort to tear the turret apart, though once it did, it clattered to the ground with a hiss – just as Terrence cleaned up the remaining machine, slicing its arm off before it too ceased to move, lights flickering and shutting off.

The remaining turret was faced with a two-way assault from V2 and a seething Blaze. The initial railcannon shot caused the turret to stall out briefly, giving an opening to pepper it with high-speed nails – when the fire elemental's flame breath engulfed the exterior of the device. When the flames passed, its exterior was charred and somewhat battered, though the V model's follow-up Overheat Nailgun shot was enough to finally pierce the exterior, leaving the turret riddled with holes, now inactive.

Despite the lack of further threats, Blaze's outburst continued, flames spreading wildly across the room in all directions. Black spots were left on just about every surface, and the unconscious Psi-User nearby V2 began to catch fire, probably not helped by the fact that he was wearing robes on top of his armor. Sumeragi seemed to deal with smaller fires with some frequency, as it took a surprisingly long time for any sort of firefighting system to kick in at Blaze's actions.

Finally, a series of sprinkles emerged from the ceiling and walls in the room, spraying out copious amounts of water to deal with the flames. Nothing that would save the rest of the team from dealing with the friendly fire, but it would at least make it somewhat bearable to stay in this room – not that there would be much of a reason to, as some of the team had already headed up to help Tracy's friend.

The conveyor ramp closest to Akira led up into the next floor, while the ramp closer to Terrence led to the lower one. There was also an opening in the back wall, leading to a moderately lengthy hallway that led deeper into the structure.

FRISK DREEMURR

Blade began to sprint, and Frisk only kept her turret trained on the woman to keep her busy - when newcomers arrived. Well, one was new to the scene, and the other was new to both that and Frisk. What was more, they were riding a freaky alien dinosaur... thing. Probably not a monster.

...Probably.

Suddenly, penguins.

Frisk ceased firing, her chaingun transforming into her familiar spiked pavise, her brows furrowing slightly as she gave a brief recognition toward the device on Tracy’s arm, which was clearly the product of said penguins.

“It’s uh, Frisk, actually,” the teenager told her fellow-aged-person.

The sudden penguin intrusion seemed to throw off Blade as well, though she was good at not showing it. She was quick to try and deal with the flightless birds as Frisk gave Tracy and her new friend(s) a nod. “Let’s make one thing clear,” she told her new allies, turning to the threat as she was leading with her counter-attack. “We aren’t killing her.”

The katana segmented into a kind of whip, swinging for Frisk. Whips were kind of underrated, in the teen’s honest opinion. Only Psycho seemed to have used one, and that woman was... not good representation for anything.

Frisk somersalted over the crack of the whip, before she threw her pavise like a frisbee. It shouldn’t have worked like that, but it did anyway. The answer was probably magic.

The pavise spun rapidly toward Blade as she directed her attack at Tracy. Frisk considered for a moment summoning a whip of her own, but... she’d probably end up hitting herself with it, somehow. She has ZERO experience with those. Better to stick to the familiar for now, this battle wasn’t the type to experiment too much in.

The pavise would curve back through the air, eventually to return like a boomerang if uninterrupted. If it struck a blow, it would bounce back a lot faster.

That mechanical thing was the baddie? Hmmm seemed believable enough. Shrugging his shoulders he just elected to agree without putting anymore thought processing into it.

The whip was headed toward him and Tracy, Thorn giving a whimsical smile before firing out a thorny vine from his hand out at the hostile weapon. Ensnaring each other, he turned towards Frisk.

"No worries, we aren't killers! ...wait that's a woma-"

Suddenly Thorn started jittering, electricity zapping across their body! They failed to figure out the thing was electrically charged - and vines were great conductors. Connected to his hand, it zapped all through his body!

"Uuuuuaaaahhh!!!" He cried out in pain.

Amaterasu (9/10 Ink)
It was getting difficult to keep track of what was happening now, but soon most of the threats had been dealt with. Amaterasu seemed to be satisfied...until she caught a whiff of a burning smell.
Blaze was going nuts, breathing fire in all directions without any sense of friend or foe! Amaterasu barked, trying to get him to stop, but cut off upon seeing the fallen psi soldier catching fire. Galloping across the room, Amaterasu would grab the solider by the foot and drag them away from Blaze, making sure to put her body in the way of any passing flames. She was preparing to snuff out the flaming soldier...only for it to start raining? Indoors?
Well, that worked for her. The sun goddess made sure to place the psi user on her back, letting the sprinklers take care of the flames. With the solider secured, Amaterasu looked for where to move. She could feel water pool around her paws, and upon her eyes landing on the ceiling holes, she had an idea. The wolf would run forward, underneath the opening.
In the next moment, a sizable amount of water began to bubble underneath the drilled out hole. It was only a thin film, yet the water began churning and frothing before it suddenly erupted! A huge waterspout would rise up from an unknown source, with Ammy jumping directly into it! The last traces of fire on the psi user would be doused, and the Waterspout technique would carry Ammy-as well as anyone who followed-up through several of the floors and towards the roof!

The hothead had a meltdown, spewing flames every which way!

"H-hey! Stop!"

As the stream of flame would pass her by, she raised an arm to protect her unarmored head. Her Legion acted in tandem as it sped in front of her, using the deactivated turret as a shield. The flames then went on to aim in another direction, and Akira grimaced. She took advantage of the momentary safety to hurl her Legion forward. It would zip in a circle around the boy, attempting to ensnare and temporarily stun him!

The flames seemed to be doing the trick, spreading and burning throughout the interior. The sumeragi won't come back if there's nothing left to come back to after all. Before he could spread it further, the overhead sprinklers flicked on. Not only that, but the dog from earlier seemed to conjure up a geyser of water...didn't it only have fire powers? Blaze didn't dwell on it too much.

He was looking for a way to burn up all this water somehow and continue what he was doing before. But before he could even start thinking of a plan, a strange creature revolved around him, his body seizing up suddenly as he found himself unable to move. That creature...it had to belong to that cop.

"I...nah that ain't true."

The fire in his eyes shifted to a confusion, or was it denial? His eyes darted around. Charred surfaces and dampness. Terrence having given him a wide berth and the dog having abandoned ship. Wait, was it really the two of them now? Had they...run away?

Flashes of Baraju rang in Blaze's head. A planet in which he and Ice had decided to have an all out brawl, nearing altering the fate of an entire civilization from the carnage of their fight. It reminded him of how all his friends were hiding in cover, trying to weather their attacks. Didn't he promise to never have something like that happen again?

It seemed the flames in him had burned out on this internal revelation. A few seconds of uncharacteristic silence followed. It was broken by a snort, fire building up around his right arm. With a momentary struggle, he punched himself out of the hold, flames on his fist dispersing once he was free. With an exhale, he didn't look at Akira in the eye.

"Whatever! ...just whatever man."

He felt shame, anger, and frustration all in one. His usual avenues of torch his frustrations out wasn't something he wanted to feed at this moment. He was just a fragment after all. A part of someone else. He was lacking pieces to make him whole. He didn't have the mental faculties to process this. At least that's what he reasoned.

"look, I don't know you, you don't know me. Hell, you don't even know him yet." He grumbled. "Why don't we skip to the end and just say we'll stay out of each other's way. You get that through your skull, lady?"

Saving face, he crossed his arms and put on a nasty look. Seemed as though getting him to strip his macho mask off was tricky. Visually however, he appeared as though his rage had quelled. For now at least.

Terrence Boom
Just as Terrence was finishing off the robot, effectively slashing its arm right off- and by extension, its gun- he was feeling pretty good about the current situation! It seemed like the other threats in the room had been effectively dispatched. This gave the group a perfect opportunity to head up to the roof with the rest and help with whatever was going on up there- and hopefully help out that friend of Tracy’s in the process.

Unfortunately- fire. Fire everywhere. Almost everything around them was coming alight and starting to char, the source? It was that Blaze kid, the very same one who had nearly hit him with that fireball. Okay, so maybe Blaze wasn’t technically a kid (if his words were to be believed). Not the immediate concern.
Terrence held up his arms to try and block the heat, his layer of Bravery magic coming in handy- but it was still fire, and he’d be heating up quickly.

“IS IT GETTIN TOaSTY IN HERE or is it just mE- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA” Tempura exclaimed as she began bouncing around in Terrence’s shell, feeling the effects of the rising temperature.

“Son of a…” Terrence withheld his thoughts from there. Luckily, the sprinklers eventually came on, and that combined with a… waterspout!? The dog rode the current, it seemed it had been her doing. He was starting to think she was some kind of guardian angel.

With that, luckily, the fire had been mostly put out before it could do any serious damage- he’d been just a second away from bursting some pipes or trying to overwork those sprinklers. This was starting to get really, really dangerous- how was he supposed to focus on helping people and beating up machines when he was just this close to getting bathed in flames by someone who was supposed to be on the same side?

"aaa TeM IS OkeY NOW..."

“An ally burns the same way an enemy does,” Terrence told Blaze simply, walking over toward the water spout and staring up, hoping to soon follow. Everyone had turned out fine, but... not only was he getting put at risk, but Tempura's safety was on the line here, too. That put him in a less forgiving mood. He tested the water a little, poking his katana against it, before directing his ‘gaze’ toward Blaze.

“Friendly fire will not be tolerated.”

Terrence jumped into the water spout.

Eyeing the hand, Blaze arched a brow. He rolled his eyes before his nasty expression changed into a half smile himself, accepting the hand, giving it a shake. He nodded his head In understanding. Of course, Terrence interjected.

The extra words coming from Terrence would typically be grounds for friendly fire if this were Blaze earlier. Right now, Blaze just groaned as Terrence entered the geyser to fly upwards.

"Still 'high and mighty' as always that one. Let's just get a move on."

Blaze for one needed a break. He needed to find Thorn. Since his climbing skills weren't exactly great nor fast, this water elevator seemed to be the best bet. As much as he disliked anything having to do with water...he swallowed his pride and walked forward, getting pulled upwards in the vertical current.

Tracy Rinehart

The other teen girl finally introduced herself, and as Tracy expected, Sadie wasn't her real name. The thought of killing their opponent hadn't even crossed Tracy's mind. This was supposed to be a rescue mission, one to quickly run away and escape! But did Frisk really feel confident they could win the fight? Numbers were on their side, at least at the moment. Thorn had incredible powers, and apparently so did Frisk.

Tracy could feel her hair stand on end from the buildup of electricity, and could see The Great Emperor Penguin's feathers doing the same.
"Great Emperor Penguin's effect, activate!" Tracy commanded. The massive penguin let out a deep roar as light glowed around it. Blade's lighting blast struck the monster, but in the same moment other blasts of lightning burst from the monster. They landed around where the massive bird once stood, and in its place were two new monsters. The first was the form of a face-down monster card, like other cards Tracy had summoned. The second was another Penguin. This one was a simple black and white Penguin, one with a rather smug expression, and armed with a white sign with a red 'X' on it. The smug Penguin monster, Nopenguin.

Blade's next attack was a whip attack towards Thorn and herself, and as Thorn sent out a vine to block it, Tracy's eyes widened.
"Thorn, wait-!" But her warning was too late. The electricity coursed through Thorn's vine, through the boy, and into Tracy and the Tumbosaur! The Ra Yellow student let out a cry in pain and fell off the Tumbosaur. The pain was intense, but not an unfamiliar sensation. Tracy was reminded of unpleasant memories involving a stun gun...

The Metal Reflect Slime - Blade Copy ran at the Sumeragi Warrior, lashing out with a chrome tendril in the shape of a whip. Unaffected by the electricity, it attempted to entangle Blade's lightning whip and pull it away from Thorn's vines.

Behind the Tumbosaur, Tracy drew another card from her Duel Disk. She gestured towards Blade once more.
"Penguin Ninja!" Tracy called out. One of the face-down cards around Tracy flipped up, and the Penguin Ninja revealed itself once more. It flung ice shurikens at Blade, ones that would magically hone in on the weapon she held. Just as before, if the attack struck, it would attempt to knock the weapon out of Blade's hands.

But this time there's something different! Tracy thought to herself. In normal games of Duel Monsters, with Nopenguin on the field, any card returned to my opponent's hand is instead removed from the game. I don't know if that effect will happen here... But it's worth a shot!
As she watched the attack, Tracy could see the red 'X' on Nopenguin's sign begin to glow.

Whether or not the attack would hit, Penguin Ninja ducked down once more and transformed back into a face-down monster card.

District Wall – VS Blade
The pavise closed in on Blade as her attack found purchase, lightning shooting out through her bladed whip. Blade stepped to the side, quickly raising her other arm to deflect the projectile, sparks flying from the gauntlet while the weapon bounced off to the side.

At the Great Emperor Penguin's split into more monsters and cards, the Adept focused more of her power into the whip, and a wave of electric orbs shot out in all directions from the extended katana. It didn't get much time to output this move, as the swordswoman's metallic counterpart acted to remove the weapon from the vines that grounded it. The slime struggled for a moment as it tugged, before Blade swung her arm upward – and the whip broke apart, splitting into an array of metal segments that soon began to rain all over her opposition.

Tracy's Penguin Ninja aimed to counterattack with a series of ice shurikens, each one flying through the air in quick succession as Blade pulled her arm back, once again thrusting the hilt of her weapon into one of the scabbards under her cloak. Her other arm came in to block the attack as she dove sideways, and even as the projectiles crashed into the Adept, some curving around to directly hit the weapon, Blade's grip remained firm, aided no doubt by her katana's sheathed position and some form of electromagnetism.

Suddenly, the hole in the ceiling behind Frisk, Tracy, and Thorn burst with a stream of water, stretching from the structure below up to a couple feet above the rooftop. This actually seemed to give Blade pause, the lightning Adept unsure of its source as she kept her weapon sheathed for now, and she instead raised her other arm to the sky.

Just like before, a bolt of lightning crashed down onto her, and identical lightning strikes fell all around the rooftop at the same time, posing a threat to the humans and monsters alike – while one of the streaks of electricity would home onto the newly-formed geyser, clearly intending on severely shocking anyone within or around it.

FRISK DREEMURR

Penguins continued to be a thing, why not, Frisk had seen crazier in the past. Like... Well, given the situation, maybe ‘crazier’ wasn’t the right term. But she was pretty sure she’d seen the Temmie Village residents form a super fluffy mech using their bodies before, in some distant, forgotten timeline.

So that was pretty out there.

Despite Tracy’s efforts to occupy Blade, the Falcon was adapting quickly to the new element on the field, responding rapidly to the penguins and the grassy dinosaur. The spiked pavise, despite being knocked aside, still returned to the user, recalled magically to land on Frisk’s wrist, just as the rain of metal attack began.

Frisk had a counter, summoning an equal array of knives in the air toward the ground, which shot up and intercepted the blade fragments individually, knocking them back and likely cancelling out the attack.

Blade had remained mostly in place during this time, answering to range with range, and she was pretty good at the whole melee thing already. Had to keep her moving, overwhelm her, wear down her defenses and push her into involuntary submission...

A sudden spout of water erupted from the hole Frisk had created - and Blade seemed to find it unexpected.

Likely meaning more allies, and Frisk could already guess how the Falcon would respond: the same way she’d answered everything else so far.

With a lightning bolt.

Frisk raised an arm quickly, and at the top of the spout a red wall materialized. She quickly poured magic into it to reinforce and strengthen it - just in the nick of time, as a thunderbolt seared down and smashed into it, saving the waterspout from a powerful attack. While she couldn’t possibly know there really were allies coming up said spout, the teenager didn’t want to risk it. The barrier de-materialized after use.

Another sword materialized in Frisk’s hand - this time, a replica of a Chaos Saber, Asriel Dreemurr’s choice weapon. The weapon seemed to echo and phase into being, mimicking Asriel’s use of it, before the magic on Frisk’s calves and heels glowed brightly and she took off, closing the distance to Blade in an instant before diving into a side-roll, slashing at Blade’s knees - before quickly swerving her sword to slice vertically, directly up as Frisk bounded upward, having anticipated Blade would leap over the deceptive low swing.

A small magic platform appeared behind Frisk as she leapt, which she kicked off of in an attempt to violently tackle Blade down to the ground, using the pavise to heavily slam the Falcon before she was bashed into the ground, caught between the pavise and the ground.

Frisk would waste little time in pushing off from Blade into a backflip, completely sure that Blade would try to counter that attack with another bolt of lightning, but Frisk would suddenly glitch out, her form stuttering in place - only for the real Frisk to appear immediately behind Blade with her Aberrate ability, relative to wear she was, with a rapid slash into the woman’s shoulder, the Chaos Saber shimmering to phase into the woman’s armor and cut deep, dealing as much damage as possible without being totally lethal.

Boboiboy - Thorn

The electricity continued to course through him, the Tumbosaur also being effected, hissing and lowering it's head from the damage. Tracy had already separated from him, which was good, because she was spared from what was next. Blade increased the energy in his whip, and thus the pain and damage. Thorn yelled out in anguish before his vine snapped from his palm, sending his smoking frame off of his steed and rolling into the ground.

He was uncharacteristically quiet, his eyes closed shut in a pained cringe. The Tumbosaur however, was still standing and kicking.

"KREEEE!!!"

It stomped, roaring at the electric attacker. It would break out into a sprint, following her movements to attack with a swift chomp to her front. A headlong charge for a bite.
