Boboiboy - Quake

Battle started anew, Akira getting a strong first impression in, Miracle preforming his own maneuvers in tandem. Overall? Really strong opener, however, the patrol robot was going in for underhanded beam amongst the damage. Seeing this, Quake leaped into action, going in the way of the attack and raising an open palm to the robot. The beam struck his rugged gauntlets...but it seemed to have no visible effect other than orange heat impressions on the surface.

Quake walked forward, the beam still steadily burning at the earth gauntlets. Steadily, he brought the same gauntlet up close to the machine, eclipsing the round optic it was wiring from. Without a word, he closed his fist, breaking the machine into metallic chips.

Miracle was still being hard to regroup with, but before any of that could be sorted, two bronze armored missile users entered the scene. Due to the distance, he couldn't just slug a punch at them and end it, especially since they were falling back...But Akira just might be able to. Seeing the missiles headed her way, he knew what to do.

"Earth Gauntlet - Barricade!"

He thrust his right arm forward, the purple and orange rock that made up his gauntlet flying off of him, forming up into square shape as it shot through the air. When it reached near Akira, the first missile was blocked by the barrier, causing a series of cracks across it and some pieces falling off. The second missile was then sponged, the barrier crumbling as the rocks tumbled to the other side of the room. Quake, now with one gauntlet called over to his companion.

"There's your opening!"

Armament Factory - Exterior
Morning

They had made it, without being spotted! Tracy leaned against the wall, letting out a nervous breath. She looked around the corner, watching the soldiers unload the truck for a moment longer before continuing onward. There was no security, no cameras, no soldiers around on this side of the building. Tracy drew a card from her deck, looking at it. A spell card, the Ledger of Ledgermain. It depicted a cloaked figure, specifically the monster 'Crystal Seer', using magic on a spell book or tome of some sort. A card that would be most beneficial if she played right now.

Tracy activated the card on her duel disk. A cloaked, semi-translucent figure appeared in the air next to Tracy. Their robes were red and blue. The spellcaster seemed to take no notice of the Bard or Terrance, simply nodding to Tracy, taking three cards from the top of her deck, and vanishing.

With that out of the way, Tracy moved to the nearest door. There were three buildings, with a door in each of them. Each appeared to be locked, with a security panel for the locking measure. Tracy also noted the vents. Large enough for people to move through. The duelist was reminded of another movie, that old action movie Dahlia made her watch. Dying Tough? Tracy would rather not replicate that. The main character might have survived that movie, but only just barely, and Tracy was no tough New York cop. At least this wasn't a skyscraper...

Tracy pulled the ID card she had taken from the Psi-User from her pocket. Maybe this could open it? Even so, she hesitated. Jirou Okamoto. The guy didn't look like any of them, not even close. What if there was additional security measures to the panel, besides scanning the ID card? Or what if Okamoto had reported that he lost his ID card, and this one was rigged to trigger an alarm? Tracy thought about it for a moment. Everyone wore helmets that covered their faces and gloves that covered their hands, a security panel probably wouldn't have people taking off their helmets or gloves all the time just for them to get in the building. And even if Okamoto had reported his card missing, it probably wouldn't trigger an alarm. Just a card reader error.

Tracy gestured for the others to stay away from the doorway, and moved over to the security panel. She stayed to the side of the door so, if it did open, anyone inside wouldn't see her, and tried to scan the ID card on the security panel.

Data Center - Exterior

"V2 had to replace his arm because it was stolen by V1. Hm..."
On the roof of the Data Center, a trapdoor opened.

"The more I think about it, the more it reminds me of that story Formaggio told me. The Ship of Theseus."
A man, familiar to the readers, pulled himself through the trapdoor and onto the roof. The blue haired man seem to take no notice of the rain, nor the sounds of combat coming from the front of the Data Center.

"It's a pretty simple idea, even Pesci had been able to understand it. You have the ancient ship, used by that hero Theseus himself."
He brushed off the dust and dirt that had gotten onto his clothes, and began to walk along the roof towards the front of the Data Center.

"Over time, you slowly replace every part of the ship until there's no original parts left. Once it's all totally replaced, is it still that same Ship of Theseus you started with?"
As Ghiaccio, member of La Squadra Esecuzioni, assassin of Passione, walked towards the V2's battle, the rain continued to fall.

"Furthermore, if you kept all those original parts, and put them all back together into a ship, is that ship you built the same one you started with? And now, you have two ship."
The air around Ghiaccio grew colder and colder. This cold air would begin to flow down onto the battlefield in front of the Data Center, turning the rain to freezing rain. As the rain fell on Ghiaccio, it turned to ice upon the assassin. But Ghiaccio appeared unhindered by it, walking on, completely unaffected. He paused for a moment.

"That story always PISSED ME OFF!"

Ghiaccio snarled, kicking an old AC on the roof. The metal dented from the first kick.
"WHAT SORT OF IDIOT ASKS QUESTIONS LIKE THAT?! OF COURSE THOSE TWO SHIPS AREN'T THE SAME, ONE IS MADE OF NEW PARTS AND THE OTHER ISN'T! IF YOU HAD TO BUILD A SHIP OUT OF ALL THE OLD PARTS, THAT SECOND SHIP WOULD BE A PIECE OF SHIT THAT COULDN'T EVEN FLOAT!"
Ghiaccio kicked the AC unit again and again, the dents growing larger and larger.

"SHIT! WHO DOES THAT PIECE OF SHIT FORMAGGIO THINK HE IS, HUH?! ACTING LIKE HE'S SOME GREAT PHILOSOPHER, LIKE HE'S BETTER THAN ME! HE'S JUST AN ASSHOLE WITH A SHIT STAND! FUCK!"
With a loud crunch, the AC unit broke off from its base and fell over. Ghiaccio stood over the broken machine, breathing heavily. The sound of an explosion caught his attention, and he looked back towards the front of the Data Center again. Right. Dealing with V2. Demerzel had said there was a pay bonus for bringing in these targets alive. But was V2 really alive? He was a robot, what counted as alive? Functioning, perhaps? Clearly, the robot was able to function with one of its limbs gone... That was probably key.

Ghiaccio made it to the edge of the roof, and looked down onto the battlefield. The temperature in the front of the Data Center continued to rapidly decrease. By the time he made it there, a large shell of ice had formed around Ghiaccio. He made no move to join the fight, simply watching V2 and the soldiers fight from the roof.

Amaterasu
Amaterasu skirted to a halt as the hallway opened up...to three more halls. Amaterasu surveyed the area as she listened to the soldiers talk amongst themselves. With her paws on the wall, Amaterasu raised herself to look through the windows. One had nothing new, just the crates she had seen before. The other seemed strangely empty.
It seemed the red humanoid had functioned well as distraction so far. Amaterasu wondered how long it really would last...as well as how long until it breached the "no-killing" policy they had established. Anxiously, Amaterasu decided to move towards the door to small office. Though given the lack of even a handle, it might as well have been a wall for the wolf.
Amaterasu studied the frozen door for a second, her eyes locking in on the small indent in the middle, which looked capable of opening up the door. Unfortunately she lacked the limbs necessary to push it open, but perhaps...
The goddess's reflector vanished, and was quickly replaced by the Thunder Edge. As discreetly as she could, Amaterasu would shove the floating weapon handle-first against the indent. Amaterasu jiggled the glaive as lightning surged through it, intent on using its weight to open the door up so she could enter the office space.

Akira Howard
-Morning, NORA Wreckage-
The officer drew her Legion close to her, but Quake was there for the save. Akira immediately understood the idea. The Type-R beside her exuded gravitational waves as it anticipated its opportunity...

Akira counted the missiles. The first one impacted, and a second later, the second one did as well. As soon as it did, the Legion shot forward. Stone debris shattered into still smaller fragments as the tamed Chimera passed through them, and soon through the door. It passed one of the Homing Launchers, and thrust out its forearm towards the other one's head, aiming to knock them out. It then turned around to block the other soldier's way.

That left Akira squaring off against the other sentry, which would surely break free of its restraints soon. She switched her X-Baton into its Gladius configuration, and heaved the heavy weapon over her head in an attempt to carve into the large robot's head before it awoke!

Mr. Miracle
It was truly a shame how dark this place had gotten the higher up he had gone. At first, his eyes could still adjust relatively well to the light levels below. Yet, now that he was all on his own in god knows where, it was as he'd just entered a cavern. But last Terry checked, he was a magician first, hero second and entertainer third and while he was also many other titles, 'Spelunker' did not exactly fit any of his criteria of talents and abilities.

His magic only had let him see so far, but that was more because frankly, Hagen cared little to see beyond any further. For all he knew, he could just be in yet another storage room housing yet more shipping containers, just like the room before. Then again, that one was also a loading bay, though he did also travel up the very shaft that led into said bay, so.. what were the chances that this was nothing but a mere dead end for him?

In his relatively erratic wandering and blind exploration of the darkness, Miracle had turned around just in time to unfortunately witness a single yellow eye look right back at him. He could not see what it belonged to, but evidently, it glowed in the dark.. probably because it reflected the light his finger projected, like eyes tend to do. Still, it certainly got the performer to stand still as it had caught him off-guard, though Terry was quick to gather his nerves again and put on the classic Mr. Miracle front.

"Hey there, stranger! Fancy meeting you here!" The man had called out in the darkness in a friendly manner, taking in the occular protrusion from the void staring back at him. Something something, Abyss staring back.. he was never one for shakespearean quotes himself. The magical hero preferred snappy comebacks and catchy one-liners instead, because that's what grabbed attention usually. Not some bizarre ramblings using an archaic language. "Are you a good eye, or a bad eye? Because I assure you if its the former, I come in peace! If it's the latter.. well, I'd still be willing to talk before anything rash happens. You can call me Miracle, by what name shall I call you?"

V1

SELECTED TARGETS: 1x "Miracle" [HVT] QUERY RECEIVED: IDENTIFICATION. PROCESSING...

The eye was unblinking. Miracle's question was processed with a few beeps and boops, then responded to. "I am V1. You know of my successor and inferior. And to the former question..."
Cling! A yellow light launched away from the machine, separating from the eye and arcing towards Mr. Miracle. It flashes at the peak of it's arc before dropping down, becoming visible as... a coin? Presumably, tossed like V2 does.
"I'm a bad eye."

Zoom-ping-VOOP!
The machine fired a shot, the metal shard magnetically accelerated at incredible speeds, lighting the air behind it in blue. The shot hit the coin right before it would touch the ground, before ricocheting back and hitting Miracle directly in the shoulder! From there, the war machine dashed forward, and became visible in Miracle's own lights. It was just like V2, but blue, and much smaller. And- wait, it has three left arms!

One blue, one red, one green, on a gimball system designed to rotate a new arm into place as needed. The blue arm was mostly normal, the red one seemed to have a shotgun incorporated, and the green one looked like a grappling hook. There was one extra slot on the gimball, not yet filled. For now, the red arm was in front, and was winded back for a punch.

V2

SELECTED TARGETS: 4x Missile Soldier, 2x Grenadier, 1x Shield Drone PRIORITIZING... PRIORITIZING TARGET: SHIELD DRONE
That shield drone was being annoying. Blocking shots, preventing V2 from seeing bullets- which had impacted the machine at various points, causing damage that wasn't too extreme but still HURT. Sliding out of the way, the machine chose to fight against that drone with volume of fire, pulling out a nailgun.

V2 blasted shots at the fellow war machine, aiming to overwhelm and break apart it's shield. Once done, V2 would swap to the Overheat nailgun, and blast superheated shots aiming to melt and destroy the hostile. Turning to the other opponents, V2-
NEW TARGET SPOTTED HUMAN - ICE VARIANT
...Ice Variant? Was the rain fritzing out V2's circuits? Turning to where the supposed "Ice Human" was, V2 saw... a human, with a shell of ice around them. Huh. Okay, so that's an adept, likely with some kind of ice power. Given that the previous human with elemental powers had taken the entire team to take out, this one was likely incredibly dangerous.
SELECTED TARGETS: 4x Missile Soldier, 2x Grenadier, 1x Human - Ice Variant [HVT] PRIORITIZING... PRIORITIZING TARGET: HUMAN - ICE VARIANT [HVT]
Slam-storaging as previously, V2 gained altitude in order to get onto a rooftop, ideally close to the human. From there, the machine charged up a revolver shot and fired it at the hostile, aiming to break the ice shell, before rushing forward with the Excalibur arm poised to strike. V2 briefly remembered that they were supposed to not kill anyone, but c'mon, one of these guys took the entire squad to beat! It's a matter of life and death!

Crash Site – NORA Station Interior
Through their combined effort, Akira and Quake managed to repel the opposition's diminished counterattack. Quake crushed one of the Patrol Bots with his gauntlet, soon using the other to intercept the missiles headed for Akira, giving the officer and her Legion an opportunity to go after their targets – the Homing Launchers and the remaining Sentry Unit respectively.

Akira's Type-R Sword Legion caught up to the fleeing soldiers in no time, swinging an arm out to slug into the head of one soldier, sending him tumbling back down the stairs, unconscious. The other soldier had his path blocked just before he could make it to the top of the stairs and to the door beyond, attempting to weave around the chimera to little success.

"Argh, just get outta my way, dammit!"

Taking a step back, the Homing Launcher fired off another missile straight at the Sword Legion, probably looking to more so vent his frustration rather than deal an effective blow, given the target he was up against.

As Akira's X-Baton smashed into the remaining Sentry Unit, putting out of commission (and leaving just one stunned Patrol Bot nearby her), another flash of light came from the supernaturally-reactivated control panel by the door. A large orb of energy left the device, swerving toward Akira and Quake for a moment before heading toward the stairs, dragging some of the scattered debris and parts as it flew, moving past the Sword Legion and the Homing Launcher.

It headed through the now-open second set of doors – which led to a decently sized room with a steel bridge connecting either end, suspended over a gap with several energy capsules stationed at the bottom, all broken apart. Toward the middle of this bridge were the remains of one of the station's robots, and as the orb of light neared, its remains and the retrieved parts began to quickly merge into one unit, weaved together by Septimal energy.

Data Center
Cautiously, Amaterasu made to slide the door open with her Thunder Edge, as she lacked opposable thumbs. Her idea proved effective, the glaive inadvertently suppling some power to the electronic door, which finally opened with a quiet hiss. She didn't seem to draw the attention of the nearby soldiers, the Adepts instead finally rushing toward the data center's entrance, seeking to join the battle against V2 outside.

With the door open, the goddess walked into the office space. A series of inactive screens, a desk with an integrated keyboard, and a chair took up one end of the room, with a central unit located at the corner, also lacking power. There was a file cabinet toward the right wall, the drawer at the bottom (out of four total) slightly ajar, inside it a box with a handle at the top, labeled 'Power Supplies'. Toward the other side of the otherwise tidy room was a rectangular metal object with a blue lanyard attached to the top, seemingly discarded on the floor.

Meanwhile, V2's nailgun barrage managed to break apart the Interceptor's shield, following up with further fire to finally shred the drone to pieces. He leapt away as the Sentry Units continued to fire in his direction, the war machine focusing on attacking Ghiaccio. The two incoming purple soldiers and Grenadier witnessed this as they emerged into the exterior, looking up at the robot for a moment before turning their focus back down to ground level.

"Looks like that assassin's getting to the bot first." the more focused of the two purple soldiers called.

"Oh, not if I can help it!"

As the brasher purple soldier gave his response, the man swung both arms below himself, and a blast of kinetic energy burst from him, sending him flying upward from the recoil. He was propelled high enough to get level with Ghiaccio and V2, where he thrust out a fist at the robot, sending another wave of kinetic force to slug into his target.

"Reckless as ever..." the female purple soldier muttered, before she held out both hands in front of herself, and a series of orange energy wires surged out from her fingertips. They shot across the area to embed themselves into the remains of the Bomber drone, which began to rapidly stitch itself back together, steadily gaining an orange coloration as it did so.

Armament Factory – Back Entrance
Tracy scanned the ID card on the closest panel – and fortunately, the door unlocked, slowly opening inward.

The group hid from view for a moment, but no voices or other sounds came from the room past the door. Cautiously peering in, they found that this back entrance led to a moderately sized, gray-colored meeting room, with a U-shaped conference table taking much of the center space, with enough seats for a dozen people. A projector hung from the middle of the ceiling, pointed toward the left wall, near which stood a singular podium with a small computer installed on it.

No apparent cameras were in sight here, alluding to these back entrances being of a more exclusive or private nature than the rest of the facility, though a factory was an odd place for conference rooms nonetheless. The sound of machinery at work could still be heard beyond the back wall, albeit muffled, with a door leading deeper into the factory building. There was another door by the right wall, likely connecting to a similar room in the adjacent building.

FRISK DREEMURR

—Day 2 Morning, Data Center North—

Returning to the central room proved uneventful. Frisk glanced back behind her, finding she wasn’t being followed. They hadn’t even noticed her.

Amaterasu wasn’t back yet, probably in that other room. Frisk could either join her, or...

Her eyes landed on the center elevator. Would it work? There wasn’t power for almost anything else... and what if the way to turn it back on was upstairs? Wait, hang on, that would be really bad design, if the power ever went out you’d have to have a way to turn it back on from the first floor. Probably.

“Are you done?” Chara asked. Frisk glanced at her and squinted.

“What?” She whispered.

“You’ve been gawking at that elevator like an idiot for two minutes, just go find the dog, it’s what your thoughts were leading toward.”

Frisk shook her head and marched past the elevator, headed down the same hall Amaterasu had gone, finding the dog had managed to get a door open. “Good girl!” Frisk beamed at her before she turned her attention to the dusty room. A whole lot of... nothing. Ugh, was it really on the second floor? Maybe there was another way to turn on the power.

She was getting restless.

Her eyes landed on the discarded blue lanyard, which she promptly headed over to and scooped it up, expecting there to be an ID attached.

Tracy Rinehart

Armament Factory - Interior
Morning

With light beep, the door opened. No alarms, no error signs. Tracy looked to Kiwi and Terrence with an excited smile. It worked! They were in!

No, she couldn't let herself get excited. Their mission here was just beginning, it was only going to get more dangerous from here. The duelist looked into the room. A conference room of some sort, empty. It was a promising sign. People in administrative positions liked to have their meeting rooms close to their offices, right? Hopefully they wouldn't have to go through much of the factory to get to the office space where some intel could be found. There wasn't any cameras in the room, at least none that Tracy could spot.

Tracy cautiously entered the room. The sound of machinery was clear, even through the closed doors, and was likely enough to cover any noises they made in this room, but there was no need to be reckless. She moved over to the computer with the podium, booting it up if was off or asleep. A secure facility like this, maybe Sumeragi saw no need to secure their computers?

GHIACCIO

Data Center - Exterior
Morning

V2 quickly took notice of Ghiaccio. With expected speed, it flew up onto the building and landed not too far from the assassin. Ghiaccio turned to face the robot, tilting his head.
"Huh." He said thoughtfully, looking V2 up and down. V2 fired his revolver, and the bullet struck Ghiaccio's ice shell. However, the shell didn't shatter and break away like the robot thought it would. Instead, the bullet seemed to drill into the ice shell, creating a small entry hole before stopping. The bullet had also traveled strangely after V2 fired them, seeming to slow down ever so slightly in the air.

Before V2 could charge in with his Excalibur arm attack, Sumeragi reinforcements arrived. A purple suited soldier launched their self to the roof, aiming a concussive attack at V2. Ghiaccio didn't seem to react to it, still regarding V2.
"Just you? Where's the rest of your team?" Ghiaccio asked V2. "That cop with the demon stand? Those brats with the magic powers? Why are you on your own?"

"The way you all attacked The Wall and the weapon together. You all don't strike me as the type for solo missions. How did you even figure out we were going to be here?" Ghiaccio remarked. He looked around the battlefield again. No sign of anyone else. "Hey... The attack on the wall. That one girl that was let through the walls, she was sneaking around in the offices. That idiot's office computer was open, wasn't it? You could find a lot of details on that network. Locations where Sumeragi's going, but not why. And now you're here. A pretty bold attack on us, right out of nowhere like that. Heh..."

Realization struck Ghiaccio. The assassin grinned, and pointed to V2.
"You're covering for your teammates, aren't you?!" Ghiaccio asked. From the rain that had been falling on the rooftop and on V2, ice would suddenly attempt to form around V2's legs to keep him stuck to the roof!

Terrence Boom
Terrence watched as Tracy worked, largely taking the lead when it came to actually getting them into the compound- he was impressed. That equipment of hers, those magical cards- how many of those did she have, anyway? He wondered if he could get something similar for himself back home, but… probably not. Still, a small army of creatures, magicians, and ghouls, all at her fingertips? It was versatile, extremely useful, and downright cool.

She then took what Terrence considered to be a high-risk, high-reward approach. The Sumeragi were obviously a pretty high-tech organization, meaning… it wasn’t super far fetched to think that using that ID card could create some discrepancy that the Sumeragi workers would be able to detect. Theoretically, even one of them making the rounds to investigate could make this whole thing blow up in the Stealth Squad’s face…

But the door opened- always a good sign. The interior was… dull. It looked like they’d walked right out of the dystopian hellscape they’d landed in and right into floor three of some office building. With it being a pretty nice and comfortable, if a little dull of a space… it was a real improvement in scenery.

“Hm…” Terrence noticed the lack of cameras, and approached the central table, leaning against it- he had no way of checking out the computer Tracy was looking at, though. That was one thing that he couldn’t figure out even with his special sight-adjacent abilities… screens. Instead, this was an opportunity to try and detect any other people wandering around outside this room over the sounds of the machinery. “Wonder what kinds of meetings have been held in a room like this…” he frowned. “I probably don’t wanna know, actually.”

Mr. Miracle
The magician's eyes had widened slightly as the coin went up into the air, flipped by the azure robot's mechanical hands. Though he could already guess what would happen next, the only thing he'd known was that it would most certainly be bad news. Instinctually, Miracle had raised his gloves hands up to his face, arms held crossed over another in a protective stance. He could hear the words spoken by the machine's voice, the shot ring out, and the poor entertainer could only speak out in surprise at the sudden attack.

"Hey, wait-!"

Terry's eyes had snapped shut instantly, his body had braced for impact, for pain, for anything.. but nothing seemed to happen. Did the robot hesitate? Was there actually a chance at negotiation? No, for once his eyes had opened again, the man had noticed the very shot fired at him, as well as the coin that richocheted off it, caught floating mid-air and imbued with that trademark energy of his, saving him from imminent damage to his body. It seems his subconscious, in an effort to engage its survival instincts, had brute-forced its control over his magical talent to put a telekinetic hold on both dangers. So much so that Miracle didn't even notice the fact his glowing finger was curled in their direction up until now.

"Oh.. hehehe, I guess I jumped the gun a little bit on that one."

Hagen had spoke more to himself than his enemy combatant, his free hand placed on the back of his neck and rubbing it with slight embarassment. Oh, what fortune it was that the cameras were not on him at this point.. not those types of cameras anyway, not unlike the walking, talking GoPro over there. The magician had floated upward, making sure to stick closer to the ceiling than the surface to avoid being within reach of that wound-up arm, which.. actually, it did make him wonder. V1 hadn't been in close enough range to actually hit him, so that arm must be used for something else.. well, nothing a little experimentation couldn't help discover!

"You can have this back now, thanks for the gift!"

With a flick of his finger, Miracle flung the coin up and over V1, while the metal shard fired at him had his finger pressed against its surface, imbueing an explosive charge of magic into it before firing off in the robot's direction. However, as it closed in within that arm's reach, the magician's wrist flung upward. In the same motion, the magnet shard rose up and above V1, revealing itself as a feint that now fired right towards the same coin still twirling through the air as Miracle let go of his control over both projectiles, allowing the projectile to ricochet off the coin and towards the joint holding V1's arms in place!

Boboiboy - Quake

Akira was pretty efficient as dispatching the enemies, Quake in the meantime extending his hand out, the shattered earth that made up his glove previously floating back to him piece by piece. Like a jigsaw puzzle it reassembled itself on Quake's arm, after a few seconds it was back to tip top shape. With that recovered, he tried made a motion to follow the sword legion, only to stop himself as he saw some king of glowing orb emerge, whizzing past him and through a set of doors.

"Huh? Just what is...?"

Quake jogged after it, stopping at the large bridge between him and the orb. The orb started to modify a robot in the middle of the room, which didn't sound good. Taking that as his cue, he sprinted forward, cutting distance the best he was able to. When he got close enough, he slammed on the ground with both of his fists. This motion would send him diagonally through the air, winding up a punch to the center chassis of this forming robot.

V1
...
+ENRAGED
The moment the shard touched the coin and ricocheted downward, a horrid and loud sound rang out from V1's voice system, and the machine's yellow eye turned blood red. A red halo additionally formed around it's head, crackling with electricity as the machine dashed incredibly fast, the explosive shot hitting the ground where V1 had been seconds earlier.

The machine pulled out a sawed-on shotgun. Not sawed off, sawed on, as in there was a chainsaw attached to it's side. Revving up the red saw, the machine then released the damn thing, and it shot out towards Mr. Miracle on a string. However, as it did so, V1 punched with the Knuckleblaster, severing the string and launching the blade at very high speeds towards Mr. Miracle.

Not yet finished, the machine put away it's shotgun and pulled out a rocket launcher, which it fired at Mr. Miracle. If it makes contact it explodes as one would expect, but if it doesn't, then it simple released a powerful shockwave that disrupts the magician's flight and makes it harder for him to stay in the air.

SELECTED TARGETS: 4x Missile Soldier, 2x Grenadier, 2x Purple Soldier, 1x Human - Ice Variant [HVT] PRIORITIZING... PRIORITIZING TARGET: PURPLE SOLDIER(s)
The ice human appeared to be content to stay back and watch the battle- although they appeared to have discovered V2's purpose. The machine chose to lie, saying "I told them that I use blood for fuel. They didn't like that." Dashing away from the forming ice and changing directions to slide towards the purple soldiers, V2 was hit by the kinetic wave and briefly slowed down- briefly.

The machine jumped as it slid, swapping to a shotgun and firing a blast at it's target, hoping for the shell to deal significant damage. However, considering that these purple soldiers appear to be spec ops, V2 also quickly charged up a revoler shot and fired it at the purple soldier, aiming for the head. Again, while V2 technically shouldn't have been killing anyone, the situation was extreme enough to require it!

-Morning, NORA Wreckage-
The Type-R dodged to the side, the missile erupting against the wall behind it. In the same second, it stabbed forward with its blade, attempting to destroy the weapon. Then, it spun around to attempt a roundhouse kick to send the man tumbling back down the stairs.

Meanwhile, Akira had just finished the sentry. She looked over her shoulder, swapped to her blaster, and fired a couple of rounds before chasing after Quake. She started to hear some gunshots resounding through the wreckage, and knew that it involved Miracle in some way. They had to find him as soon as possible.

Soaring through the air, Quake slammed his gauntlet into the center of the machine as it formed, smashing a hole through it and sending it skidding backward, scattering internals over the bridge as well. The violet light enveloping the robot seemed to wane for a moment, but as it brightened up again, the damage Quake had just dealt was quickly restored, missing components being filled in and replaced with the parts around it.

"Not gonna be that easy," the Adept's voice echoed from the machine. "I'm a Hunter for a reason. Fusion!"

In unison with that last word, the machine was fully assembled. It bore a similar look to the robots seen when entering the station, being about six feet tall and featuring a faded blue and white coloration. It lacked arms or legs of any kind, floating slightly off the ground, and had a visor on its head that glowed with pinkish energy.

Right as Akira arrived on the scene after dealing with the remaining enemies, the robot's lower body opened up, revealing two gatling guns incorporated from the previous Sentry Units, proceeding to fire out twin streams of plasma bullets at its targets. At the same time, hatches opened on either side of the robot's head, and a series of missiles spewed out to carpet bomb the area Quake and Akira stood on.

Data Center
Still at the data center's rooftop, V2 retaliated on the purple-wearing Hunter by firing a shotgun blast at him. The man had been blown backwards by the force of his own attack earlier, leaving most of the pellets to scatter beyond their effective range, and those that did remain on course were blasted aside by a smaller wave of kinetic energy from his hand.

"C'mon, you gotta try harder than tha– urk!"

The following revolver shot grazed the side of his head, carrying enough power to pierce through his armor. He fell back down with a yell, rolling along the ground roughly before standing back up, holding the side of his head.

"Now you've done it, you heap of scrap...!"

"Shut up and focus."

His fellow Hunter cast a glance in his direction, the orange wires in her hands vanishing as the previously broken Bomber was reanimated, gaining a mainly orange coloration. It immediately soared back up toward the rooftop, taking some extra elevation again before dropping a series of bombs on V2's position. While the drone rejoined the fight, the Hunter that had rebuilt it was already in the process of restoring the Interceptor nearby her, more orange wires surging forth from her hands to get the machine operational again.
Frisk moved toward the discarded lanyard, and as she suspected, there was an ID attached. Out of all the things the group had seen in this building, this was probably the closest to being on the level of what Sumeragi's soldiers carried these days, only because there was really not much technological advancement to be made when it came to ID cards.

Inspecting the front of the card, the teen found its displayed owner to be a young woman in her early twenties, her eyes green in color, with her long, light brown hair tied into a ponytail. From what was visible of her clothing, she seemed to don a grey uniform with white and black running down the middle. Beneath the woman's picture was the name 'Moniqa Albrecht'.

Similarly to the ID that Tracy had found the day before, various numbers, codes, and icons were laid out near the picture, though some additional information was also specified. Her position was 'Operation Management Officer', and there was a classification segment next to her name, designating Moniqa as... non-Adept?

The top right corner of the card displayed a light-blue diamond with a highly stylized feather at its center. The same logo was displayed on the back, albeit much larger, and it had a series of slightly faded words laid out below it.

'Quorum for Unrestricted Information, Law, and Liberty'.

At that moment, the dim emergency lights that had been illuminating the inside of the data center thus far were suddenly replaced by proper (albeit not full brightness) interior lighting, and some of the technology around the building began to hum slightly. It was evident power had been restored to the data center, through only partially – the computer by Frisk and Ammy did not boot up, and upon looking back into the previous room, only some of the server racks had become active.

Lone footsteps echoed closer from the central elevator hallway, accompanied by the whirring of a small machine.

Armament Factory – Conference Room
Tracy made a beeline for the podium computer, which turned out to be in sleep mode. When it booted up, no lock screen greeted her, instead bringing the girl straight to a home screen. While no files or tabs were open from the last time it was used, there were two of folders laid out on the desktop, labeled 'Firearm Production' and'Machine Development', likely being the focus of this particular factory segment.

Opening the first folder showcased some information, statistics, and blueprints on the standard weaponry that Sumeragi units carried. Aside from the beam rifles, grenades, and missile launchers that the group had previously seen, it appeared infantry also carried energy daggers, machine guns, and even flamethrowers on occasion. Estimated production of these weapons added up to a little over five hundred units in total, with the more standard rifles and grenades making up a significant portion.

The other folder on machine development was structured similarly, going over the robots and other machines made by Sumeragi – particularly those that were deployed on combat and search missions. Sentry Units were the most common, additionally being easy to customize and adapt, though more expensive to build than most other robots. Other robots included a small variety of drones generally equipped with plasma cannons, lasers, or explosives, while there were more specialized units for scouting, such as a stealth drone or a patrol robot.

Meanwhile, Terrence sought to sense beyond the conference room's walls for some insight on what was beyond. Past the back wall's door was a more open area that seemed to stretch a good distance, the outlines of robot arms, a conveyor belt, and some other machinery fairly apparent to the SOUL-user. There seemed to be some people walking around the place, some carrying a few kinds of items across the area with them, others ascending to higher floors through a relatively distant set of stairs and an elevator.

The room to the right, on the other hand, was of a similar layout to this one – except it was actually in use. Five people were present in the adjacent room, with four seated around the conference table, while the fifth stood at the podium. These rooms seemed to have some sound insulation, as no noise came through from that room to this one, and it was clear its occupants hadn't taken note of the group coming in or talking.

Boboiboy - Quake

"It's...repairing itself?"

Quake was reminded of a few advanced automatons back where he was from that shared similar capabilities...yet this seemed different somehow, like a forced outside of this machine was somehow manipulating it. That orb that inhabited it...just what was it?

Not much time to deliberate, as plasma fire was already ringing out between them. He put his gauntlets up to protect himself, placing all the rock on them to face the ghost in the machine. This focus damaged the gauntlets immensely, but otherwise kept Quake's body in peak form.

Missiles followed, the earth elemental being woefully unprepared for. He quickly tossed what remained of his gauntlets down in front of him to make a makeshift barrier, a missile impacting it moments later, hurling him back from the blow. As the smoke plumed from their impact sites, Quake coughed, trying to formulate a new plan.

"Getting pinned down...I don't see any other choice...!"

Using the quickly fading smokescreen for cover, he pressed a button on his power watch before turning the face on two different settings.

"Elemental Double Split!"

Light began to shine brilliantly as some sort of arcane symbol appeared in front of Quake. An ancient language described on the glowing gold symbol along with familiar elemental sigils in what would be the clock faces. Quake jumped into this sigil, and when he did, two symbols became pronounced. A swirled blue symbol and a crackling orange one. Quake's body was then overridden, two bodies emerging from him as the sigils faded.

"- Blaze!"
"-Ice."

Landing to their feet, the Ice and Fire elementals now stood against the adept fueled mechanoid, one brandishing their ice bow and the other a pair of fire chakrams.

"Oi! Franken-bot!" Blaze called over. "I hope you know exactly who you pissed off!"

Blaze would leap into action, flinging his pair of fire chakrams down at the robot's plasma guns. The chakrams, if they were to slice into the metal, would detonate upon imbedding themselves. Meanwhile Ice quietly targeted the crevices of the robot, hoping to freeze over it's sealing around it's face and weapon tubes with well placed ice arrows to prevent further weapon intrusions.

Tracy Rinehart

Armament Factory- Conference Room
- Morning -

The computer was just in sleep mode. Another stroke of fortune for Tracy. As she well knew, luck could be just as important as skill. She scanned through the files she could easily access, trying to get through all the info she could. Production numbers... Only 500 weapons produced so far? That seemed pretty low. It was likely this factory hadn't been in production for long. If this really was a strange, alternate world, it makes sense that Sumeragi would want to boost their weapon production. With people like V2, Boboiboy, Frisk, appearing right next to the city, who knew what lurked outside Sumeragi's territory?

Tracy scanned through the info about the robots Sumeragi made. She could understand the basic things, the weapons the robots were equipped with, their sizes, how they could move. It was the heavier tech stuff she wish she could understand. If only Bob were here, he'd probably be able to explain this easily, point out some sort of tech weakness that could be exploited, some way to hack the system. Did she have any monsters that could help with that? The only one she could think of being even close would be Twin-Barrel Dragon, and what could they do? Blow up the computer?

Tracy took a step back, and looked through the podium for a Zip Drive, CD or floppy disk she could steal this data on to. Her flip phone had a camera, but it wasn't a great one. Nothing like Frisk's phone, she had to ask her or Terrance about that. A strange phone from another world. Something to ask about later.

Bingo, a zip drive was on a console under the podium. Tracy snatched it, plugging it into the computer and copying the files onto it. Jin seemed pretty techy, maybe he could use this to help. She took a few more moments to go through the computer, checking the Documents, Downloads, anything. But the computer was empty. Tracy frowned and removed the Zip Drive. She put the computer back to sleep mode, and walked over to Terrence and Bard.
"I got some files on the robots and weapons. You find anything?" Tracy whispered to the pair.

GHIACCIO

Data Center

At V2's response, the hitman laughed.
"Right! That's why none of our human guys are dead yet, huh? V1 said you were inferior, but I've seen your fights! You're holding back!" Ghiaccio said. Seeing that the two Septima Soldiers were doing well Ghiaccio turned away from the fight and put a hand to his earpiece.

"Oi! Listen up, you shits!" Ghiaccio yelled over the radio to his troops. "Anyone still in the Data Center! There are targets in the building, right now! Find them! Kill them, or take them alive, whatever! Just remember, you get a pay bonus for bringing them in alive!"

With that out of the way, Ghiaccio looked back to the fight. He gestured to V2 once more. Everywhere the robot stepped, ice would attempt to shoot up from the puddles on the roof to encase their feet. Ghiaccio was still trying to anchor V2 to the roof, or trip up the robot, as his troops continued to pressure the robot!

The air around the battling group grew colder and colder...

Meanwhile, inside the facility, as Frisk and Ammy restored power to their section of the facility, they would feel a slight chill in the air. Perhaps the air conditioning had also been powered back on as well?

FRISK DREEMURR

—Day 2 Morning, Data Center—

Moniqa Albrecht, Operation Management Officer.

Interesting. Frisk dangled the lanyard in front of her for a moment, looking it briefly over before she stowed it into her pocket. Could come in handy, that card had high clearance. Though she was a non-adept, meaning the ID probably came from before the genocide.

That... or Sumeragi still had use for normal humans. How deep did the cleansing run for the organization?

Suddenly, power seemed to be restored. Frisk glanced over at Ammy, but it didn’t seem to be the dog’s doing. Who had restored it? She was able to quickly deduce that it wasn’t a full restore (however that worked), as not everything was on. Additionally, company was returning to the data center interior, accompanied by a chill.

Frisk hummed thoughtfully for a moment, glancing around, and she walked quickly toward the filing cabinet to discover the box labeled ‘Power Supplies.’

“Bingo...”

She glanced up toward the doorway as the footsteps drew nearer. She opened the box and set the lid aside to look within, casting a glance at Amaterasu. “Hey, if they get much closer, I may need you to... do whatever you did last night when we were fighting Blade.”

Time felt like it was slipping away, so she’d need to pick up the pace. Restoring power to this computer in particular might be most prudent, considering the lanyard she’d just acquired. Maybe the two were connected...?

Mr. Miracle
The magician was quick to counter the incoming sawblade with a magic missile of his own, his upheld hand firing out a blast of rainbow energy that had knocked the sharp-edged projectile out of the air. But just when he had thought that was the worst to come, Miracle saw this man-sized machine suddenly pull a full-on massive rocket launcher out of nowhere. He barely had time to descent to the ground before it had exploded above him, knocking him into the floor with the resulting shockwave. Though he quickly had managed to kick himself upward again, strangely, it appeared something was weighing him down and keeping him grounded! Hm, what to do, what to do.. oh, hang on now..

Hagen didn't need to look around to remember where he was. A dark, empty room filled with nothing and noone that he wouldn't feel bad about damaging. It was just him, this robot thing, and a whole bunch of objects stood around them that formed their arena. And his eyes had confirmed his hypothesis; whatever that arm was, its punches weren't normal. They could knock back projectiles, similar to how his hands could grab them out of the air and fling them back.. albeit with a bit more effort than just feeding them a knuckle sandwich. That meant regular magic missiles wouldn't fly here, unfortunately so. But.. that did mean something else.

This one, it seemed to rely on ranged attacks only, utilizing an array of weaponry instead of its own body. If it was anything like that red guy, that meant its weaknesses being close quarters should be a reasonably assumption to make. Oh, that was perfect, absolutely perfect! It was a wonder to Terry why he didn't come to this conclusion sooner! Then again, it wasn't like he was going to find this out if he didn't test the waters first (and got himself a face-full of dirt and dust in the process..).The caped superhero raised a gloved finger, pointed straight at the blue-painted warmachine, his voice raising into the confident power of Mister Miracle himself.

"I've got you now, robot! Your petty little tricks won't work on me anymore!"

As these words had left him, Mr. Miracle's body appeared to suddenly start to glow with the same magic as he always exuded. Except now, it seems to be getting brighter, more concentrated, more packed together as it spread over his entire body like a second skin. Soon enough, the very image of a human was too concealed by shimmering, prismatic energy to even tell that it wasn't anything but a sentient body of light, taken on a humanoid shape. That is, if it wasn't for the fact that the very same magician underneath all this energy had spoken out with a mighty declaration.

"Your time is at an end, machine! For I, Mister Miracle, will bring you to Justice once and for all!"

What happened next became a blur - quite literally so, as the magical shape of Miracle had stemmed one leg in the ground and seemed to twirl on the spot. He may not be capable of flying anymore, but that didn't mean he couldn't still control his own body's movements. The man's arms had been fully extended, hands held flat forward, his overall shape shifting into that of a spinning top. And like a tornado full of explosive, colour-changing magic, Hagen had come barreling towards V1 with a fierce speed that went straight for its several arms to separate from its body first. Being explosive in nature, this would mean the spinning top that Miracle had become would have the man easily adjust himself if knocked away, each impact serving to cause nothing short of a burst of magical energy to implode on contact, as if he had become a volatile beyblade!

"Miraculous Typhoon!"

Akira Howard
-NORA Wreckage, Morning-
Just as the policewoman had arrived, the undead drone had fired off its salvo. Akira would have had little chance to avoid damage if it weren't for her teammate. As Quake was blown back, he was caught by the RAVEN. With a quick look, she made sure he was still conscious, and then dropped him back on his feet. Taking advantage of the opening Quake had created yet again, she hurled the Type-R forward, its blades primed for melee.

It targeted the weapons, slashing at what it could before another barrage came their way. Unlike creatures of this world, any damage done by the blades would leave streaks of red energy. It changed the metal around the damage site- to something that was not a form of matter as earthlings would understand it. It would render the machines inoperable, and there was nothing the adept could do to reverse it. If he tried, he would find it to be quite toxic to the human mind.

Following this, Akira swiftly pulled the Legion back, just in time for Blaze and Ice to (attempt to) deliver the coup de grâce!
