Stella, still hearing the ringing, nuzzled Swiftbrush. "It is ok. I am sure everything is fine," she said loud enough to where it sounded like a whisper to her, however, she was almost yelling.
Inferno was dead. There was no doubt about it. His eyes were wide and cloudy, giving an unblinking stare into nothingness, and his body was limp. Not to mention the blood trickling out of his mouth. He did not survive the fall onto the rock. Besides, even if he did, he would be crippled beyond what his tribe deemed livable.

With a bag containing his report, Kyaal flew to the palace, going as fast as he could. He reached the castle and landed. Knowing where the Queen would be at that moment, he went through a couple of corridors that gave way to the throne room with the least amount of time. "Your majesty, I think I have a way to make the shield last longer. If you just look at these," He pulled out a few papers out of his bag with his claws and tried to hand them over to Queen Nova before she picked them up with her telekinesis.
The queen skimmed over the documents before saying, "No, that is my final answer. No trying to convince me either. It is just too risky."
Kyaal glared at the queen, flattened his ears, and flicked his tail with anger before turning his head away. Queen Nova left, ordering that the shield be placed up soon. Upon hearing this, Kyaal raised his ears again and grinned. "Sorry, your majesty, but I do not take no for an answer," he murmured. The white tom quickly flew to his home and wrote a letter.
