Qinlan
Qinlan shrugged his shoulders, clearly, they'd overreacted to the situation. Although he wouldn't blame them, it was a wise move to call for back-up, unless it was a trap, in that case, they would've all been screwed over. But since it wasn't, and all had ended well, it was for the best. Without saying a word he motioned for Quilla to follow him, flashing an enigmatic smile while hooking two fingers towards her in a 'come here' gesture. As he trudged his way back through the forest, he realized more that one person was following him. Which, was quite odd. Besides Quilla, no one else had any reason to have followed him, especially at this time of night.
Throwing his head over his right shoulder he caught sight of Asriel, their impromptu leader seemed quite miffed, and from his mutterings, Qin was able to deduce the reasons. He stopped in place and waited for the other trainer to catch up then spoke slowly and with certainty,
"Although capturing them might've been nice it's extremely dangerous. 1) We have nowhere to hold them. 2) They do belong to an organization after all, and I've never really heard of an organization so impartial to its members. The Auralians could have another group on us as soon as daybreak, and if such a situation were to occur I'm not liking our chances."
He gave their leader a meaningful glance,
"Best case scenario, we capture them extort some information and then..?"
His eyes narrowed, his voice becoming far more solemn taking an almost chilling undertone.
"Do you intend to kill them? Or maybe you think that we'd just ditch them in the forest somewhere?"
Qin scoffed, that'd be far too naive.
"If we don't kill them, and they head back to their base they'll talk about everything they've seen while they were captured. We'd be gift wrapping information on our teams, state of supplies, and our purpose for being here and sending it right back to the Auralians base. Who knows what else they could decern from bits of our conversation."
Throwing his hands up in apparent disregard Qin's expression, finally finished with the mix of emotions he had just displayed, returned to being casual.
"Either way, the consequences for capturing one of them isn't something we can deal with. Unless... you've got a plan?"
He cocked an eyebrow, shooting Asriel a rather inquisitive look.
Quilla
After following her brother off into the forest, the situation quickly escalated into one Quilla wasn't prepared for. She froze up at the thought of murder, even if it did seem to be the only way to preserve their lives. Her mouth opened and closed repeatedly, wanting to interject, but being unable to find the right words to do so. Eventually, she chose to stare, at the ground, at Asriel, at the trees, at anything. Her distress manifested in agitation, and she began nervously fidgeting on the spot. She'd only just escaped death herself, how could she think about taking the life of another?
She took comfort in the fact that it wasn't her decision to make. Her gaze flickered between Asriel and Qin, but she remained silent.
