Zana walked outside and spotted the double battle. She picked a spot to watch it from and then sat down in the grass. Venom, who had been following her closely like a second shadow, jumped into her lap. Zana gently stroked the cat Pokemon as she observed the tactics and strategies of the two trainers. It would pay off if she ended up battling against one of them, after all.

"Hi, I'm Fletcher and this is Ralts and Amiraq, it's a pleasure to meet you," Fletcher said to Angel. Ralts hid behind Fletcher and Amiraq looked at Blair. Fletcher diverted his attention to the Cobrunt. It was very interesting to look at. Fletcher then crouched down to Ralts.
"It's okay, she won't hurt you..." Fletcher said quietly to Ralts. Ralts then ran off and came back with a red rose and gave it to Angel.

Monroe grimaced as his attack plan failed, he had left poor his poor Rowlett open for attack! He could do nothing but watch as the attacks came from both angles and struck his newest Pokémon with enough force to knock it from the sky where it lay on the ice, fainted. Well that was embarrassing, a rookie mistake to say the least. He had to try and get back into this battle and he knew Dusty had what it takes to get the job done. With out even being told to the Scamulet was already rocketing back across the battle field straight towards the Eevee he had just missed, hoping to strike him from behind.
"Good job little buddy, you'll win the next one I promise." The boy said to the pokeball in his hand softly while he waited for Scamulet's attack to strike. The ice was already beginning to melt in the bright sun but that didn't stop the rollout attack from sending out splinters of the stuff everywhere as Dusty destroyed everything he rolled over.

Greyson was so concentrated on taking out the Rowlet that he didn't even notice the Scamulet coming back with its Rollout to attack Vivi. The Evolution Pokemon gave a slight cry as it's been hit by the unsuspecting attack from Scamulet. "Vivi! Can you get up?" Greyson asked worriedly. Vivid struggled to stand up because it's been just hit by a huge rock, but eventually it managed to do so.
"Inferno! Help Vivi out by using Tackle on the Rollout." Inferno responded by crashing into the rock itself. Most definitely Inferno took major damage from that, but he managed to get the Scamulet to misdirect and go another way, away from the two.
"Let's try another combination," Greyson claimed. "Vivi! Assist!" Vivi used it's Assist and out came Inferno's Ember. "Great! Inferno, use Poison Sting!" The snake Pokémon shot out bits of poison spikes and aimed them directly at the spewed Ember. With another infusion, the Ember became an eerie purple with the melted poison sting. The attack almost looked like it was a Will-O-Wisp.

Dusty had no choice but to uncurl from his rollout attack and face the oncoming venomous flame head on, the tackle from the Coburnt had just been too much for him to remain in that form. Monroe knew the battle was over before the attack even struck his partner, there was no chance the beetle Pokémon was going to be able to avoid the move and the icy layer on the floor meant that using entomb again wouldn't work. He had screwed himself other in his arrogance, not used to controlling two Pokémon at once in conjunction with one another.

When it cleared he could be seen down on one knee, scuffed up and panting heavily, no way he was fighting on. The Scamulet looked back at Monroe who nodded and called out "Alright that's enough, we accept the loss." as he rushed over to help his Pokémon with an assortment of potions he had stocked up on before the trip. After he was sure Dusty was going to be fine he decided that it was only right to give Greyson some congratulations, it had been a pretty awesome fight. "You did well man, I haven't seen moves like that in a long time" He said with a friendly grin, one that didn't bare any ill will despite the loss.

"You guys did great!" Greyson said to Monroe and his Pokemon. "You guys really showed that you had a tight bond." Greyson took out is messenger bag and pulled out a container full of berries. Taking 4 Oran Berries, he gave an Oran Berry for Inferno and Vivi. "Here, give them these. They'll feel better straight away." Greyson said as he handed the blue berries to Monroe. Greyson gave a pat to each of his Pokemon, complementing them at the same time. "You guys did amazing, lets try to remember those combinations for Contests, and those battle techniques for Gyms." Both Inferno and Vivi gave a slight nod while continuing to consume their berries. The battle took a toll of them too.

Monroe accepted the berries gratefully, summoning Taishi so that he could feed the poor injured ice type both of them. Just like Grayson it took him a few moments to realise that their little battle had accumulated quite the crowd. It seemed like almost everybody who had gone into the lab was now standing outside with them. Time for introductions.
"I'm Monroe, nice to meet some more fellow rookie trainers. I'm also hoping to become a trainer but I also want to be an explorer, that's why I'm here honestly, Carios looked as good a place as any to start my journey." He said with his best attempt at a friendly smile despite the fact he was a little unnerved by the amount of people watching.

"I'm Zana. I might try to be both a Coordinator and Trainer myself. However, I don't think Venom has a moveset that's good for Contests right now." Zana said. She stroked Venom, who sat contentedly in her lap. "I've attempted to do both in a few of the regions I've traveled to. It worked out okay I guess, since Gyms don't exactly close unless either the Gym Leader isn't there or it's night. Makes sense, cause honestly, who'd want to battle at night."

Inferno and Vivi just finished their meals and wanted some companions. Inferno went towards Fletcher's Pokémon while Vivi went towards Monroe's Pokémon. Vivi gave a mini complement towards Scamulet and Rowlet for such a great battle. Inferno, on the other hands, was trying to hang out with the Paychic types. But unfortunately, one was quite shy and was avoiding the Coburnt.

"Travel together? I hadn't really considered doing anything like that but hey I'm happy to stick with you guys for now at least, if it doesn't work out I'll just leave." Monroe replied after mulling Greyson's suggestion over for a moment or two. A couple more companions couldn't hurt, at the very least he wouldn't be alone in this strange new region.
Dusty and Taishi were grateful for Vivi's compliment and both replied with one of their own, the Eevee had fought hard in that battle and that was undeniable. The Scamulet stood stoically with arms crossed over the two shorter Pokémon but Taishi was quick to get closer to the Eevee and chirp happily.

Great! At least one person wants to come along with Greyson. Greyson honestly didn't want to travel alone. Well, he has his Pokémon, but they actually don't really talk back to Greyson, makes it seem like he's talking to himself. "Great! Anyone else want to join?" Greyson asked the others. "Because we should be heading off soon to cover more ground." Both Vivi and Inferno came back to Greyson and gave a slight call, hoping that the others would join Greyson's journey.

"That's wonderful!" Greyson said. Sun was still high, but clock was ticking. Greyson really wanted to get a move on to Fuede City. "Monroe! Angel! Let's go!" Greyson exclaimed. "If anyone else wants to join, feel free to do so! The more the merrier they say!" Greyson said gleefully. Returning both Vivi and Inferno to his Pokeballs, he started making his way to the exit gates of Tibalt Town.
"Sounds good." Zana said. Venom leaped off Zana's lap as she started to get up. "We need to hit the road anyways. Right Venom?" The cat Pokemon nodded in agreement. "Oh, almost forgot." Zana said. Then she pulled out the Venurr's Pokeball and returned him to it.

Greyson, Angel, Monroe and the newly joined Zana now heads towards Fuede City to challenge the Gym and the Contest there. Walking through the arid desert, Greyson was sweating the whole time. The climate of the Carios Region was just too hot for him. "Hey Monroe?" Greyson asked. "Can you ask your Rowlet to make it snow here? I'm in dire need of coolness right about now." It never occurred to Greyson about the weather, he was just excited to go on his journey. While making their trip to the city, Greyson decided to talk for a bit to the others to not keep things awkward. "So, why did you guys decide to come to Carios to start your journey?" Greyson began. "I'm going here because a wanted to see all the rare Pokemon I haven't seen before since I already know almost all the Pokemon of the Sinnoh Region."
"Well I live here so I guess that probably helps a bit" Angel said, "But I wanted to start my journey and get a Pokemon. My older brother River has one, and it's amazing!"
Angel laughed a little bit then slapped her hand to her mouth, she'd never met anyone in Carios that wasn't used to the heat. All of the people in her hometown were used to it. "How are you holding up Blair?" Angel asked, looking down at the small Pokemon by her feet. The Coburnt hissed in delight, the hot weather giving her strength. Angel grinned, but that quickly turned into a confused expression. "I- I've never been cold before..." She said, "It's only ever warm or hot in Tibalt"

After walking in the sweltering heat for what seems like a millennial, they crew finally made it to Fuede City. "We're finally here!" Greyson exclaimed. "Let's go to the Pokémon Center first." And he rotated his team around, so we don't know his Pokémon yet."

"Alright you go do that Angel." The brunette male said. "You can either find a hotel or you can rent a room or two at the Pokemon Center." Still sweating from the desert travels, Greyson took off his hoodie, leaving him in his white top. "Why am I wearing a hoodie in a desert anyways?" Greyson muttered to himself. He glanced down at his Pokemon, Vivi and Inferno, seeing them enjoying each other's company.
"Hey Zana." Greyson called out. "I recommend you should catch another Pokemon." Greyson recommended. "i don't think Venom could do it on his own. "Alright! You can count on me" Angel exclaimed, scooping up Blair. She then ran off through the sandy city in search of a nice, cheap hotel. She came across the pokemon center and had a look at the pictures of the rooms in the window, they were all taken except one, and that one was very small. So she kept going.
"Good suggestion. Thing is, I don't know where to go around here to catch one." Zana said. Venom sat at her feet. He started licking his left front paw. Zana glanced down at the catlike Pokémon. She decided to leave him alone for now. "I don't suppose any of you know where I could catch a new Pokémon?" Zana said to the group.

"I'm just heading around to see if there is any Pokemon just out of town," Fletcher said to Zana. Fletcher then exited the Pokemon center with Ralts and Amiraq quickly following. After 10 minutes of walking, Fletcher found a mossy rock with a cat like pokemon sleeping on it.
"Use Confusion," Fletcher Cried. Neither of them knew who Fletcher was asking so they both used confusion on the Cat. The cat got mad and scratched Ralts and used Razor Leaf on Amiraq.

"Let's just roam around the outskirts and see what we can find." Greyson told Zana. Taking out his PokePod, Greyson looked at his map to find where to go. "Let's just head east for a bit, we might find some Pokémon." Returning both Inferno and Vivi, Greyson started walking in that general direction.
Finally making it to the outskirts, Greyson looked around to find any Pokémon he can catch. "Vivi, come on out!" Throwing her Pokémon, with a red flash, then Eevee appeared. "Look around to find any Pokémon here." Greyson claimed to Vivi. Almost immediately, Vivi gave a slight call by shouting its name. Looking at what Vivi found, there was some sort of small bird Pokémon near the rock quarry of the desert.
Greyson immediately took out his Pokedex to scan the Pokémon. "Herechik, the Hatchling Pokémon. When Herechik is born, it is very clumsy. Though it may struggle to keep balance, it loves to dance in small puddles." The robotic voice claimed. 'I'm going to catch it.' Greyson thought. Watching the chick, it was stumbling through the desert, looking tired a bit, which was perfect for Greyson to catch it.
"Now Vivi! Swift!" Vivi sent a barrage of stars from her tail. From Herechik's clumsiness, it fell and somehow dodged the move? Greyson walked up to it. No reaction came out of it. Greyson simply threw a Pokeball at it and immediately the Herechik was sucked it. Few moments later, a click could be heard. "Yay? I caught Herechik?" Greyson said questioningly still unsure what happened.

Finally, Ange found a nice little guest house with a couple of rooms. She payed the owner some money and then ran off towards the outskirts of the forest. She was eager to find a new pokemon. Blair hissed in delight and slithered after her, wondering what they'd find.
Angel dug her pokepod out of her bag and quickly sent a text to the others, giving the address of the place shed booked for the night.

After she had followed everybody Zana spotted another Pokémon some distance away. It appeared to be a pale green cat Pokemon with green ears, paws, muzzle, and tail. It had a necklace of buds that are the same shade of green as the leaf on its tail, which were slightly darker than the majority of its body. It also had pink flower buds above its front paws. Zana grinned. "Go Venom." she said. The Venurr nodded and leaped towards the catlike Pokémon. The Pokémon aimed a Razor Leaf at Venom. Venom managed to dodge the attack. "Venom, Poison Sting." Zana called out. The Venurr opened his mouth and released the attack. It hit and the Pokémon fell to the ground. "Sia...leaf." it moaned before passing out. Zana threw a PokeBall at the Pokémon. It shook a few times, then stood still. Satisfied, Zana headed to the Pokémon Center to heal her new Pokémon.

Greyson went back to the Pokémon Center, leaving everyone else to do their own thing. "Hi Nurse Joy! I would like to heal my Pokémon!" Greyson asked the Nurse Joy. "Of course, just put you Pokeballs in this tray!" Greyson placed Vivi's Pokeball and Herechik's for them to heal, leaving Inferno's Pokeball with him. "Thank you!" Greyson called out before turning around and finding a seat to rest on. Throwing Inferno's Pokeball into the air, he summoned the Coburnt out to accompany him. With a. red flash, Inferno appeared and Greyson picked him up.
"Want to do some trading while the others heal up?" Greyson asked the Baby Cobra Pokemon. With a hiss and a cheer, Inferno completely agreed to do so. Greyson petted his Pokémon's head before moving out. Greyson picked Inferno up and let him coil around his neck and began to walk to the battlefield behind the Pokémon Center.
"There's a Pokémon Contest tomorrow and I'm going to enter you into the contest tomorrow alright?" Greyson asked the Coburnt in which it agreed. Taking out the PokePod once again, Greyson checked Inferno's move set. "Pound, Ember, Poison Sting, and breeding move: Iron Tail." Carefully, he thought up of a plan to win the contest. "First, practice using your Iron Tail on that tree over there!" With a hiss, Inferno slithered his way to the tree. With a glowing white tail, Inferno began training his strength and damage amplification. "Now practitice using Ember or Poison Sting on that rock over there." From a distance, Inferno shot either flame balls or needles of poison to work on his accuracy.
Now it was time for some contest combinations to work on for tomorrow's Fuede Contest. "Poison Sting into the air, jump and then Iron Tail!" With an immediate response, Inferno shot purple needles with finesse into the air vertically. Inferno's tail glowed a shining white. Using his Iron Tail, he smashed it down onto the ground for some air propulsion. Now above the Posion Stings, Inferno smashed them down onto the ground making them do a spin as they crashed into the ground. Perfect combination for the Battle Stage. They continued working on combination like those until the Pokémon Center gave a ding, signaling that Greyson's Pokémon were healed up.
"Want to do some trading while the others heal up?" Greyson asked the Baby Cobra Pokemon. With a hiss and a cheer, Inferno completely agreed to do so. Greyson petted his Pokémon's head before moving out. Greyson picked Inferno up and let him coil around his neck and began to walk to the battlefield behind the Pokémon Center.
"There's a Pokémon Contest tomorrow and I'm going to enter you into the contest tomorrow alright?" Greyson asked the Coburnt in which it agreed. Taking out the PokePod once again, Greyson checked Inferno's move set. "Pound, Ember, Poison Sting, and breeding move: Iron Tail." Carefully, he thought up of a plan to win the contest. "First, practice using your Iron Tail on that tree over there!" With a hiss, Inferno slithered his way to the tree. With a glowing white tail, Inferno began training his strength and damage amplification. "Now practitice using Ember or Poison Sting on that rock over there." From a distance, Inferno shot either flame balls or needles of poison to work on his accuracy.
Now it was time for some contest combinations to work on for tomorrow's Fuede Contest. "Poison Sting into the air, jump and then Iron Tail!" With an immediate response, Inferno shot purple needles with finesse into the air vertically. Inferno's tail glowed a shining white. Using his Iron Tail, he smashed it down onto the ground for some air propulsion. Angel sat in a big tree stump in the outskirts of the forest. She pulled off her backpack and tipped its contents out. It contained the normal stuff, like her PokePod and Pokeballs. But it also contained jars of berries, sweets and Pokemon food. As well as a few other luxuries.
"Alright Blair, can you pick out your three favourite berries?" Angel asked, taking a bowl and a mashing stick out of her bag. Blair flickered her tongue over each of the berries, tasting them. Blair picked out 3 and Angel put them into the bowl. She added one sour sweet and started to mash.
A small kitten played in the bushes, A Veneow it was. Abandoned by her trainer, the helpless little creature had no idea what to do. She was hungry and lost. The sweet smell of berries wafted over to her. She licked her lips and gave a little purr. She bounced over to where the smell was coming from, she was so excited. She could see the berries just up ahead. She leapt... And landed in Angel's arms, giving Angel a fright.
"Ohmygod!" Angel squealed as the Veneow jumped onto her. The Veneow looked up at her with big, scared eyes. "Oh! No, don't be afraid!" Angel said, gently stroking the kitty. Veneow looked over to the
berries, Angel handed her one. She ate it happily, and fell asleep in Angel's lap.

Eduardo stayed with his Korechu near the Laboratory scouting the area for any nearby Pokémon while he seemed oblivious to the fact that the others had ventured out already. He looked over in an attempt to find the shark-like Pokémon he encountered a while ago, as he was long gone. He gave off a slight sigh, as he said to the Korechu, "W- well... let's go traveling here, I think that Fuede City seems like the perfect idea according to the PokéPod." The Korechu gave off a gentle nod, as she stayed in his arms while he began his walk to the next city that was on his mind.
In the interim, the Neourk had gotten over to Fuede City after enduring the intolerable, scorching heat in the arid dessert that he had to cross. He panted with slight dehydration, as he walked into the new city with a sigh of bitter relief. He noticed that there were some people in the city, as his concern shifted over to a trainer that was with the same, little cobra-like Pokémon that he bumped into earlier. He saw the Pokémon using moves in accord with the trainer's command, as he decided to silently walk over to the store when he had enough of looking over at them training.
He made his way over to a building that seemed to be diagonal to the Pokémon Center, as there were no buildings that were awfully close to it thankfully enough for him. He saw a small group of people, as his attention was especially focused at one particular woman who seemed to be patrolling the entryway. She had on a black uniform that gave off a merciless nature towards the malefactor's ambition, as he noticed the hoodie and skirt she had on.
After putting two and two together in a matter of some brief seconds, he concluded in his thoughts, "Oh my... seems like I have some guards to deal with. The way she walks around the entrance tells me that she's got some experience at her job, which might make mine a bit harder."
He decided to walk over to the back area while carefully utilizing his guile to avoid detection from peeping eyes. However, a gate towered over him and blocked the way across like a grand wall. He attempted to climb over the gate, but he almost fell on himself as the gate seemed to be designed in a baby-proof way. After taking in some deep breaths and getting back on his feet, he noticed a rather modest sized box that was next to the gate, as the label said, "Fuse box."
He saw that the box was locked with a lock that felt rather soft to the touch, as he grinned and thought, "Well, what do we have here... it seems as if someone forgot to replace this lock that doesn't even need a key to unlock anymore!" He carefully held the lock with his left forearm, as he took in a quiet breath and smashed the lock with his right forearm! The lock shattered off of the box and was sent flying to the ground in tiny pieces like glass, as he sighed in relief. He opened the box and saw several wires and a circuit pad that seemed to connect amongst each other in synchronization. Knowing that he only needed the red and black wire for the positive and negative terminals, he carefully took one of their ends out and stripped them to reveal a copper layering they hid. He carefully touched the copper ends together, as a small spark came out that quickly powered the circuit pad. He saw the gate sluggishly giving way to the back area, as he silently closed the box and made his way over.
He gave off a slight, bitter sigh when he saw yet another police officer that vigilantly patrolled the back area, as he snuck over to some bushes and did some thinking while the officer decided to walk into the building after opening the back door. However, the officer seemed to have left the door open, as the Neourk grinned and thought, "Heh, would you look at that... that guard left an easy backdoor for me to get into. These sloppy morons deserved to be robbed!"

Once the Pokémon she had caught was healed, she carefully took the PokeBall and let him out. The catlike Pokémon was asleep. Zana scanned him. "Sialeaf, the Leaf Cat Pokémon. Originally native to the Sian Region, these catlike Pokémon were originally gifts from the Sian people and were only owned by high ranked officials. They now populate both regions and are known to be excellent healers." the PokePod said. The sound of the PokePod woke the sleeping Sialeaf. He curiously sniffed at the PokePod. "A Sialeaf, huh. What do you think of the name Si?" Zana said to the Sialeaf. The catlike Pokémon let out a happy cry. "Si it is then!" Zana said with a grin.
Tommy rushed into the Pokemon center, fresh off the boat. He was carrining a Fire Bird Pokemon in his arms. The Pokemon looked weak. "Nurse Joy, you got to help! My Burnd got severely injured on my ship ride here! Please help it!" Nurse Joy inspected it, and then walked with it to the back room doors. "This requires emergency procedures to be done. You should come with me." They walk into the emergency room. "While I do the work, you are free to roam around." Said Nurse Joy while tending to Burnd. Tommy then saw a open, dark storage room which he peeked in. He looked for the lights, but he couldn't find any. "How peculiar.." Tommy questioned. ((OCC:This is open to anyone at the Pokemon center.))
The small kitten purred in her sleep, giving the occasional yawn or twitch. Angel smiled, she then looked around for any sign of a parent Pokemon. This area seemed deserted and this kitten looked pretty worn out and dirty. If it had a parent, it wasn't a very good one. She pulled out a pokeball and gently tapped Veneow's ear, catching her. It wobbled once... Twice, click! She'd caught it. Angel gasped and eagerly let out the Pokemon. The Veneow was now awake and looked happy.
"Hmmm..." Angel mumbled, stroking the kitty gently. "Blair and... Opal!" She exclaimed. Opal nodded and curled up in Angel's lap. Angel fed her a berry and started to sorry a bit of potion on her, healing a few grazes and cuts she had. Then, she gently lifted her up in her arms and started to walk back towards the city, Blair curled around her neck, very happy about her new companion.

Nurse Joy came out with Ralts, Amiraq and Fletcher's newest Pokemon, Catmoss. All of which looked relaxed. Catmoss began chasing her tail while Fletcher Laughed. Amiraq tugged Fletchers pants. Fletcher saw an empty space outside and realised what she was thinking. Fletcher stopped Catmoss and Happily walked outside to practice their performances.

Greyson came into the PokeCenter with Inferno once again wrapped around his neck. That's Inferno's new favorite spot now. Greyson came up to a tray that had his Pokeballs and everything. "Thank you Nurse Joy!" Greyson planned on going out back again to continue training for the Pokémon Contest, but then as he was going out, panic came through the doors. Greyson sees a concerned trainer about its Pokémon being injured. Greyson walked up to the male trainer, only to see him roaming around near a closet. Walking up behind the guy, Greyson asked, "Should you be doing that?" The trainer seemed suspicious to be snooping around like that.
Tommy turned around, looking at the new arrival. "It's fine, Nurse Joy told me I could roam around." He peeks back into the closet and sees a purplish shine. "Hey, there's something in the closet!" He said, going into the closet and fumbling for the lights. Then, he found a light switch. And what should appear? A Tombat! "Wow, a... What is that?" He questioned, pulling out his Pokedex. It was filled with Carios Pokemon information back at the Solom Town labratory, back in the Sudoncro Region. "This is Tombat, (this next part is all just trying to make something up) the Tomb Pokemon. In anctiant legends, Tombat were common in the Cariosian temples. Their starry wings are said to reflect the constellations." The Dex informed. "Okay, I don't have Burnd, but I can use the Poke'Ball my dad gave me." He pulls out a Black and Yellow Poke'Ball. "He said it should catch weak Pokemon without fail, so, Ultra Ball, GO!" He threw the Ultra Ball at it, and surprisingly captured it. "All right! I caught a Tombat!" Announced Tommy. He then turned to the watcher. "Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Tommy! I come from Stonne Town in the Sudoncro Region. What's your name?" He asked Greyson, holding his newly caught Pokemon in one hand and outstretching his other for a handshake. He was clearly pleased. ((Btw, I've decided against getting Mimikyu. I want more room on my team.)

Amazed that there was randomly a Pokémon called Tombat in a closet of a PokeCenter, Greyson just stood and watched the stranger catch the ba-like Pokemon. "Oh, my name is Greyson Hughes." Greyson said when he noticed the trainer was talking to him. "This Pokemon on my neck is Inferno the Coburnt." Greyson decided that he and Jnferno should really get back to training for the Pokémon Contest tomorrow. "Sorry for bothering you," Greyson stated, "but if you would excuse me, I need to get back to my training." Greyson with Inferno left the Center to get back to the back battlefield to continue for their contest performance.
