...Also, I say it’s time for a new area. An addition to the mainlands, something people can drop their characters in, something where things will happen. Camelot and Goldenwalk are growing and growing, and I don’t really see what most of those characters will contribute to the coming events

If Dekiru edits, I might actually have Silver move to try and finish off the downed foe... but end up helping the cyclops instead, showing the more compassionate side I've been pushing away.

Mok, pretty much all the people in Camelot and Goldenwalk have plans in Fenrir and for the coming plot. We will need somewhere for the groups in Yharnam and The Wilds after their plots are finished, though, unless we want to send them to the Haloverse while the other half of the United Army is busy working on the Typhoon and dealing with the Think Tank.

Silver can also help with the head trauma thanks to his training with Gold.
For those wondering about the specifics with Silver... he has a hard time of it. He always has to hold back, but he isn't going to let his friends or innocent people get hurt. He knows the values of mercy from Gold, von Schlemmer, Rena and the others, but knows that ferocity is a useful weapon from Blaze and Cyril, and knows you can't always reason with someone thanks to Nega Robotnik and Mephiles.
The Cyclops... well, he's no threat. So why not help with the pain?

It’s just because while Thanos could be cool, he’d be too big of a threat for only a small portion of the army to handle like Specter or Kyuiseishu (no shade thrown to them, still fantastic villains, I adore Kyuiseishu but he’s mainly a Hiro villain RN) and wouldn’t work with any of the villains of his own will.

Yeah, I didn't get the memo, you've probably said that before and I forgot. But, wasn't the plan something along the lines of "Thanos is an anti-hero"? He never wanted 100 percent of the universe gone, so the "Hey, lets kill everybody" villain thing goes against his morals, but I don't really care.

i have a fairly large cast- but!
i'm making my FINAL claim for the current rp.
but that doesn't mean it's my final claim for the series, just this part of it.
and that final claim is...

Half-Life 2's very own Gordon Freeman, the MIT Graduate from Black Mesa.

Thanos is a big villain, and MCU Thanos is better than comic Thanos (though not quite as powerful).
however, there is the issue of throwing in such a huge character like him into the mix. smaller characters is understandable, but Thanos could never play a small role if he's involved.
and considering many plans are being changed for the sequel?
...Thanos could get his own arc in said sequel, if we plan things correctly. i've already actually considered this possibility- though i've never actually desired to claim him myself.
this is my two cents on this, so take it as you like, but i think Thanos would be better saved for the sequel.

is this because of that Half-Life reference i made about Project X, or is it because the seemingly mute Freeman and Nathan would just have that good of chemistry?

Yeah Thanos is more a guy for late game sequel. Because your gonna need all the help you can get.

...By the by, I'm working on a post, but it may be missing a Sam and Sarah/Flamebringer response. Still waiting on Bog for the latter. And Sam isn't interrupting just yet...

Hey Shen? You mentioned Specter's Shields. Do they catch anything that falls from his ship? Or do they burn stuff up? Or just keep stuff in or out? They caught Clockwerk's parts, but I'm assuming the former.

The latter, and that Project X/Z does kind of have some similarities to what I know of the Half-Life games... just without the inter dimensional demons.
