Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Just wondering, Undertale's world is based a lot around magic; if I'm correct. All of their technology is powered by it, and so are all of their attacks. With that being said, does Gaster's attacks and techniques count at magical?
Waiting on Burble and Comic, in that order. But I can’t post tonight anyways, so things are fine.
And I mean... Rottytops is still a zombie, and has a voracious hunger for a certain half-genie’s brain
On another topic, I just finished watching Aquaman. Honestly? Really good movie. Comparing it to Throne of Atlantis and the other versions of the Aquaman origin, 100% the definitive version.
Also, I discovered I have a thing for redheads.
And apparently purpleheads.
Shantae:
Haha, sorry for the hold up! I just have one thing I need to tend to before I can fully focus on Fiction RP. I can promise a post...soon. Before Friday at any rate.
some of Gaster's abilities and attacks stem from magical, but he himself is no longer a magical entity, so cannot be affected by anti-magical attacks. however, his completed form returns to its mortal, monster state, meaning he is affected by magic once again.
other abilities Gaster has stems more from, as Shen put it, dimensional power. not all of his attacks can be stopped by anti-magical counters.
uh i mean
ANTI MAGIC? WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT ANTI MAGIC?

Tony Stark/Iron Man - STATUS: Alive
First Appearance: Airship Convergence
Last Appearance: Route to Camelot
Involved In: Airship Convergence, The Labyzinth, Z Encounter, Camelot Convergence, Route to Camelot
Feats: Escaping Z, keeping the team together
Relationships: Spider-Man (essentially son), Thor Odinson (teammate), Yang Xiao Long (friend), Erza Scarlet (acquaintance), Lance (acquaintance), Nathan McAllen (acquaintance), X (acquaintance), Y (acquaintance), Shantae (friend), Solid Snake (friend), Sans (friend), Toph (acquaintance), Maes Hughes (acquaintance), Z (enemy), Omega (enemy), Ruby Rose (friend), Raiden (ally)
Tony was in the middle of a date with Pepper Potts when he was called by Maria Hill and informed of Spider-Man's disappearance. Upon investigating, he was pulled to the Airship Convergence, where he found Peter with Yang Xiao Long and Erza Scarlet. Tony teased Peter a bit, gaining the interest of Yang (not romantically of course!) before the quartet encountered Darth Vader, Bowser and Lucario. Tony aided greatly in the fight before a strange storm of crystals pulled himself, Yang and Peter to Marseilles in the alternate future of the Project X series. The trio encountered Lance, and decided to head below ground. Upon entering the depths, they encountered Team Nathan. X's hotheadedness led to the teams battling until they reasoned things out with the help of Solid Snake. With the threat of Z revealed, Team Stark joined Team Nathan. Conveniently, it was right after this alliance that Sans blasted a hole to the surface from within the Labyzinth, giving the team a convenient route down. After encountering Sans, Toph and Hughes, the group was attacked by Z's Mion Generator, forcing the magic-users to head to the surface. Tony attempted to hack into the mainframe of the Labyzinth, but this gave Omega, Z's malevolent AI, access to the Mark XLVII. Iron Man fought the others for a short time before being taken away to Z's laboratory. Upon recovering, Tony found himself, Lance and the magic-users all captured. Yang broke free in rage upon Z revealing the captured Ruby Rose, and Snake freed the rest of them, allowing Tony to take them all and escape using Z's crystal. Due to his direct contact with the large crystal, he saw something the others didn't... A while later, Tony had set the group up within a cave while waiting for Yang and Ruby to regain consciousness, and he and Shantae departed to collect firewood. Upon returning, the crew traded notes, and Shantae used her genie powers to determine they were in Camelot. Snake received contact from Raiden, and the swordsman joined the group when Shantae and Sans determined where they needed to go to reach the castle. The group has departed, but Tony still has problems on his mind...
Keda - STATUS: Alive
First Appearance: Airship Convergence
Last Appearance: Battle of Marseilles
Involved In: Airship Convergence, Marseilles Convergence, Battle of Marseilles
Feats: Managing to ride a motorbike with no prior training, defeating waves of Soviet troops on his own, enduring Rex's shit for this long
Relationships: Alpha (partner), Erza (friend), Rex (rival), Variant Fox (acquaintance), Michael (acquaintance)
Portaled away in the midst of a bison hunt, Keda was shocked and lost when he encountered a group of people on the airship. It was only thanks to Variant Fox he was able to communicate with them, but he was soon portaled away to the outskirts of Marseilles. He and Variant Fox soon encountered Erza and a few others, who traded notes and attempted to figure things out. Keda took a liking to Erza, but when Rex joined them a nerve was struck almost instantly. Soon enough, however, Erza's group was rallied to action, where the group charged the city in an attempt to aid the NAC in taking it back. Keda discovered a home with a variety of weapons, taking a bow, a full quiver and five steel spears to replace his stone one. He allied with Erza to charge to the core of the Soviet forces, but took a step back when Bershov appeared. He found Rex and is attempting to formulate a plan, despite Rex's hotheadedness...
I have already decided how Keda will die. He's the only non-villain member of my cast that will be 100% perishing.

Continuing from the events of Reflections II, Nathan continued his search for Z alongside X and Y. Searching the tunnels below Marseilles, Nathan encountered his old friend Shantae, discovering of the crystals through her. Upon reaching an access terminal, X forced Nathan into action, battling against Lance. During the fight he discovered Snake, and with his help Nathan was able to defuse the fight. The nine heroes traded information and decided to team up to track down and defeat Z just in time for Sans to fire a shot through the ground, giving the group a route down to Toph, Sans and Hughes. Z activated the Mion Generator, taking out the magic users and leaving Nathan with only a few others. Snake vanished, but Logan joined the group, causing some in-fighting. Soon enough, a crystal warped Nathan's group to Goldenwalk, where Logan murdered some criminals before being stopped by Spider-Man and Toph. Gwen Stacy arrived, and Nathan's group decided to help her with the criminals. When the criminals fled, Nathan chased them alongside the others - well, the others not including Toph or Logan. Nathan managed to reach the boss' truck, taking out the remaining goons alongside Gwen before the boss came out. The boss' assassin, Silver Scythe, has just arrived and is proving dangerous. Nathan is choosing his next course of action.

Upon things cooling down, Shantae traveled to the Labyzinth with them, only to be hit by the Mion Generator. She was brought to the surface and knocked out by Omega before waking up in Z's laboratory and being freed by Snake. Shantae then helped rescue Ruby Rose before Stark warped them away to Camelot. Shantae aided in gathering firewood before Ruby used Shantae's genie powers to ascertain their location. When Snake left, Shantae followed him, offering a potion to cure his wound before they had a talk. Shantae scouted the sky to look for Camelot Castle on Stark's request, rejoining the party when Raiden arrived. She's currently explaining just what she is to Raiden.

Relationships: Omega (ally), Gaster (???), Malos (friend), Count Vlad Dracula Tepes (friend), Papyrus (pawn), Nathan McAllen (enemy), X (enemy, "brother"), Y (enemy, "sister")
Z has a long history. After the events of Reflections I, he vanished. Nathan McAllen managed to track him down to the Labyzinth as the Marseilles Convergence occurred, but his first discovery of the Convergence came in the form of Ruby Rose, who Z quickly dispatched to drain the multiversal residue left by the crystal. When Team Stark, Team Nathan and Team Toph all entered the Labyzinth, Z activated the Mion Generator before sending Omega to kidnap the magic users. He had no plans to capture Stark, but he fell right into his hands. Z decided to bait the captured heroes, revealing a small portion of his plan as well as Ruby Rose, and was somewhat shocked when Yang broke free. From there, Z lashed out at the escaped heroes, but was unable to stop their escape. Just fine, however - nothing of value was lost. Z used the multiversal energy drained from Ruby to transport across worlds, gathering an army of allies he discovered thanks to the crystals. He predicted exactly when Gaster would arrive to take some of his crystals, asking for information for mutual benefit. Gaster denied Z's request, taking the crystals and leaving, but thanks to the Alchemist, Z got what he wanted anyways - and a little bit more. Z recently recruited Papyrus to his cause, and now prepares for Olympus II to depart on another mission...

That makes a total of 40 main characters, 49 characters counting Z's villains but not the minor characters, and a whopping 65 characters counting Z's villains AND the minor characters. Yeah, I 100% have the biggest cast.
On top of this list, there are two final characters I'd like to take. I've been on the fence about this for a while, but I think they could be very interesting in relation to who we currently have. I'd like to take Kris and Ralsei as my final characters. Not only do we have the connection with Susie and Lancer, but Kris was also part of Maple's second team that freed Nathan and Shantae, giving him a link to them as well. I think these will be my true final characters, though!
GOD THAT TOOK FOUR HOURS AND I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANY OF THE HISTORY RECAPS AFTER Z
Hey
Y'all remember this?
I've been updating it for a while.
Yeah uh
Lemme change that 99% to 100% because now I'm logistically satisfied
40 feels like a good number to cap full characters at
Updated my cast list again, FYI. It now contains the TF2 characters that will be appearing as minor characters in the Zeliyis arc as Conagher’s reinforcements, and I’ve added a list of the various members of the United Army’s big brains, the Illuminati.
Hey so I just wanted to let you all know that I spilled water all over my keyboard earlier.
So if for some reason you ever feel inferior to me, that’s something to remember. I, MOK, ELBOWED A GLASS OF WATER ONTO MY KEYBOARD AND ALMOST RUINED IT.
Oh, also, once Comic and Eevee post, mine will be up shortly. It’s all on you, Burble.
...No pressure though, take your time.
yes, you should. if there's a homestuck character, then that means ships are unavoidable.
luckily for you, the only ship Vriska would pursue would be a Moiraillegience with the Contessa.
this is the Pale Quadrant of the Troll shipping grid, and it's basically a best friend, to put it simply.
the symbol for a Moirail is a Diamond.
the symbol for a Matesprit is a Heart.
the symbol for a Kismesis is a Spade.
the symbol for an Auspistice is a Clover.
a Matespritship is a loving relationship, though it can either be sexual or non-sexual.
a Kismesisstude is a hate relationship, and like a Matespritship, it can be sexual or non-sexual.
Auspisticism is somebody who keeps you under control and stops you from killing a particular somebody.
examples in the rp of all of these ships are as follows;
Matesprits: Z and Risky Boots (non-sexual)
Moirails: Logan and Toph
Kismesis: Jack and Bro (non-sexual)
Auspistice: Artemis, King Sonic, and Jojo

Vriska: Great. So when do we start manipulating society into a self-crippling war that will end the human race? Because that's the shit I'm into. If that's too tame, we can go multiversal scale, I don't mind. Just as long as I get to see some bloodshed.

The Contessa: Oh? Aren’t you a clever, devious little being. *pats claw against her head* Time will tell little one, but we do not discuss such delicate details openly~
Jamie: I am angery because angery spirit is inside of me, I beat corpse now.
AD: Hey, look at me, I'm beating up a robot!
Ridley: JESUS CHRIST PLEASE HELP ME I'M STUCK HERE WITH A BAT.
Goblin Slayer: Goblins must die.
Ruby Squad: We're going to yeet this car at the big ship in the sky!
Somebody: Something
Everybody Else: Something else
They could be helpful, Not only do they have quite destructive abilities, them roughhousing caused a massive explosion, they can also fly, and in their dragon forms are large enough to carry quite a few people, I thought about them for a while, and decided they'd be good characters, as they could have a good dynamic with maybe Rex, or Keda, or somebody, maybe somebody like Dipper? As they're fantasy monsters, @Godjacob maybe the journal has something about the dragon species idk.

Bog... explosions is not a good reason to implement them. However, I will say that a good dynamic would be, but I never saw that anime, so... I wouldn’t know which characters they’d have a good relationship with.
On another note, I should state that I finished my ‘Calamity eats Lancer’ scene, so yeah. That’s pretty cool I guess.

Yeah, I know explosions aren't good reasoning, but what I meant is they can hold their own in a fight and could be good transportation if the characters need to get somewhere

It still seems like you wanted them not because they have a use as a narrative tool, but is just kinda thrown in there because you like them. Which is a good reason, but it also helps if the character has a meaningful presence in the RP. So their interactions don't end up stale and repeating.
RIP Lancer. 2018-2019. "My only regrets are my father and having an inability to detect Calamity Ganon behind me."
Out of curiousity Comic, would Artemis judge Kiran for giving her respect out of fear? I mean, he would've probably given her basic respect if she wasn't a god, but he's really gonna suck up to her because he doesn't want to be turned into a deer around hunting dogs nor a girl.

You do have a point, but there's gonna be at least one character that they'd become friends with, or enemies with, I have listed a few, but do you have any ideas of any in your group?
