Appearance: Short middle-aged man with brown hair and gray eyes and a white lab coat, with a green shirt and tie underneath.
Personality: Facinated by fossils and pieces of scientific research, highly energetic, loyal and 'butler-like' to Lenora
History: From a young age, he took a deep interest in archaeology. He has gone on a few expeditions into ruins such as ruin castle in Desert Resort. He set up a museum with the help of the normal type specialist Lenora and soon married her as she rose up to become a gym leader. (It was their museum that contained the black/white stone though this would be referencing legendaries so i'm not sure if i'm allowed to put that here). Two years after the Plasma incidents at the gym, Lenora stepped down to work on the Nacrene Museum with Hawes. In the following three years, after the second Team Plasma takeover, Hawes started training the pokemon he had, revived some fossils, evolved pokemon he had in the PC and, under guidance from the more skilled battler Lenora, he became a strong pokemon trainer. He prefers rock types and so specialises in these. He hopes to advance the museum by obtaining a copy of every known fossil around the world. At the same time, he hopes to step forward in a new way before. Lenora has agreed to take up more of the museum duties so Hawes can learn to become a gym leader.

Okay, thanks. Yeah, the stone thing is bad because they can literally just summon a legendary, but we can just take that out. Say that someone took the stone, or that it doesn't exist in this timeline.

Andromeda is a rather average looking young woman with a thin, lanky build and little curves. She has average light brown hair that falls to her mid-back that is often seen thrown into a bun and clear, hazel eyes framed with rather long lashes. She wears minimal makeup; sticking with mascara, lip gloss, and a light dusting of blush. Andromeda's skin is slightly tanned and dotted with freckles on her cheeks, nose, collarbones, and shoulders. She has astigmatism, correcting the problem with black glasses. Andromeda's right hand is often splattered with ink, paint, and charcoal. She enjoys doodling on herself, and as such, Andromeda's arms are covered in flowers, reminders, and various symbols.

She wears a black, high-waisted skirt with Buneary tights underneath, brown combat boots, and a simple, indigo sleeveless top. During colder seasons Andromeda switches to an indigo hoodie and jeans. She enjoys wearing darker, more neutral tones. Andromeda also has a lot of things on her wrists (a Buneary watch, pearl bracelet, three hair ties, and a rubber bracelet that simply says "Be Stupid!" on it), along with chipped blue nail polish.
Personality
(Not the best at putting someone's personality into words, but, here goes.)
Andromeda is outspoken and isn't afraid to state her opinion, but often tries to do so in a polite way. She isn't good at confrontations and prefers to think through her answers before speaking. She is very good at keeping secrets. Andromeda has a few quirks, such as having a strange vocabulary (including but not limited to: stellar, mate, dude, oh boy, aight, etc.) and giving people nicknames, but is all-around a sweet person who is loyal to her friends.
History
Andromeda has been an aspiring artist since she was nine and has dreamed of attending the same art school for years. However, when she applied, her portfolio was denied. Andromeda applied for her second and third choices, getting the same response. Andromeda decided to take a gap year instead and travel Unova, accompanied by a couple oceanic Pokémon she'd caught. She hoped to view more of the world and expose herself to different cultures and such. Andromeda is especially interested in the street art, architecture, and attractions Unova has to offer, especially as someone who has lived in a small town her entire life. She's just here to experience and try new things, meet new people, and catch new Pokemon.

Moveset: Brine, Water Gun, Rest, Bounce
Ability: Water Veil
Nature: Jolly
Personality: Celesta is a bubbly, outgoing Pokemon who enjoy meeting new people and is always smiling.
Appearance: Smaller than an ordinary Wailmer.
History: During a fishing trip with her cousin, Andromeda pulled up Celesta.

History: Given to Andromeda as a gift for her journey to the Unova region.

Also, I did NOT mean for both of her Pokemon to have "veil" abilities, that was pure coincidence.

Now that I'm back, I'm going to inform everyone that I am pretty sick with a cold. As for replying, you all are just gonna have to wait for a little longer, as I am not feeling too well to make a response at this very moment. Although, I will make a response before midnight tonight.

As for controlling Juniper, she will not be happy with how much negative attention she's brought. You will all see her angry, and I hope your characters calm down after practically jumping on her and not do it to other NPCs. You are lucky she isn't cruel, or else she would've kept everyone from having a starter.

It's not possible for me to create a new trainer character who wants one of the starters, is it? There's only 3/4 starters available? Things seem a little out of place just rping as Hawes. It'd be more interesting for me if I had another character.

Appearance: Somewhere between average height and short. Wears trainers with raised insoles to make her appear taller. Average weight, long black hair, often tied into a ponytail or bow. Loves to wear black, red and purple clothes. Is often seen wearing a black hoodie. In hot weather, she will wear black shorts (or skirt) and a black vest. Muscular arms, large menacing blue eyes. Her appearance gives off the punk sort of vibe and a quite tomboyish look for a girl.
Personality: To most people, she seems self-centred, negative and stubborn. She is also extremely competitive and will do anything to win. She gets mad quite easily and is known for her agressive temper. She's determined to win and aims to become the champion if not, a talented trainer. She tends to be positive about herself though.
History: She was born into a family of two sisters where she was the youngest, so it was always very competitive. Her sister died from an unexplainable disease at a young age, so this might be why Valerie is so negative about others. Her parents were highly controlling and did not let Valerie start a pokemon journey, even though she wanted to so badly. She seized a singular opportunity when the door's latch was open to pack her things and leave. Because she stayed so long indoors, she started to want to go to other places first. She befriend a group of punks and went to stay the night in Virbank City. She later fell out with the punks and the punks joined Team Plasma. She then decided to go back and targeted Nuvema Town, making sure to creep through Accumula Town as she went.

What starters are available because I saw someone want an oshawatt and my character wanted an oshawatt. Are there more different starters?

if people are really against dupes, maybe have two or three other starters a la pikachu and eevee in kanto? maybe minccino and munna, or even zorua or something like that. axew could be a good candidate as well, i'm mostly thinking in terms of those with the sort of mascot traits in gen 5.

with axew, the whole thing abt dragon types being hard to train could explain luke getting it with his whole superiority complex. zorua might be a bit of a stretch as a starter bc of its gimmick, but i think the other 3 could work well. whatre ur thoughts nin?

Yeah that makes sense I did make a Haxorus a final team member, but I was planning on a Oshawatt as a starter for him, but I could make it work.

I only did dupes because I don’t exactly want Dragonriders of Pern drama in my RP Thread. IE people fighting over one starter.

If someone really wants something different we can discuss it but it’s probably easier to just have multiples.

I think I’m going to have Luke get an Axew as his starter, but I will have it learn dragon rage until later on because of how over powered it is in the beginning.

We may only do multiples of the original three starters. I'll have to talk with the other two and see if that is alright, but for now expect choosing one of the three starters: Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott.

As stated above my character did want an Oshawatt, but I didn’t know if choosing duplicate starters was allowed, so Gamora suggested an Axew, but I would prefer Luke to have an Axew, but I’m fine with Oshawatt whatever you feel is most appropriate.

Snivy suits Valerie the best so i'm going to keep to that plan. But Hawes is a fossil researcher and i've already established that he wants to give out fossils to the young trainers. I think that someone could easily recieve one of the two fossils (Plume or Cover fossils) and Hawes could try to revive them on the spot with some device he has. I was expecting for him to revive them if they ever got to Nacrene City, but this would be an interesting twist if someone's starter was a fossil.

Alright! After being sick and having to cover someone else's shift by turning my half shifts into full ones for two days, taking the day off yesterday with my boyfriend, and getting better, I shall now post. XD So sorry for the wait. Life really wanted to kick my butt for the past several days.
