Private/Closed Kyogre Lake Academy (Discussion/Character Creation)

=Nightshade=

Previously Night's Shadow
Reese would cannonball in from on top of Rocket, splashing water everywhere, then run around trying to hug everyone who wasn’t close enough to the water to get wet in the initial splash. Fully clothed.

Beach episode…?????

Also I had a random thought omw to school this morning: imagine everyone’s talking about their favorite cereals, just makin small talk, and in comes Reese who just scream-sings “REESE’S PUFFS REESE’S PUFFS! EAT EM UP EAT EM UP EAT EM UP”

Never made the connection to the cereal, now I can forever not hear it when I think of Reese's name

We might be going to Hoenn, full of beaches, being a tropical island.

A beach episode would slap, and so would the cereal talk

So when do we plan to get the ceremony under way?
I think we could start it now. The only person missing is June right? We could start it and next time @Ban posts they can say something like June was late or June made it to the courtyard just in time. As rhe ceramony is under way. Not to be unfair to banan and June, ita just it would be better to get the ceramony going to progress the story since most everyone is at the courtyard already.

Also, I had a few ideas

1. I was thinking of just...discarding the suspicious activity I hinted at earlier entirely. I know it would just turn the RP into mindless fluff, but we already have so many players and it would be tough to involve all of them in an overarching plot, plus I love these characters and their scenarios.

2. Maybe we could do online classes for school? That way we don't have to have the characters cooped up in a building for their classes but still have them be able to do classes while making it easier for characters to engage in the slice of life plotlines.

That 1st point, honestly fair. I was thinking based off what how you worded it was gonna be some dangonronpa type stuff happening in the school. But I wouldn't be against maybe having some sort of villain or rivalry, like maybe another school or something. Then we could have fights with npcs and that could give more battle spotlights to everyone.

The Scenarios are playing out well, and there seems to bonds of various levels and types forming. I'm pretty sure someone called Hokori's name cute, and Ivan almost broke. I plan on analyzing Emma's current team, and figuring that I may grab a Pupitar if any live on the Island.

Charlie is gonna go hard on the character development. And also she's gonna get hurt often, I just have a feeling

We could probably get the ceramony going tommorow. leafy can introduce the headmaster and all that stuff in some big exposition filled post maybe.

I kinda had an idea for an overarching plot that could DEFINITELY involve everyone, here I’ll explain.

So I talked earlier about us having a tournament against a “Groudon Canyon Academy” or something like that. What if the headmasters got their hands on the blue and red orbs and used them to power these colossal machines that are designed to do what Kyogre/Groudon did in the Hoenn Game plots, but this time without involving an organic life form, making it easier to control? “Where would it be kept” you may ask, but I already thought of this. When Dom mentions “the fountain was really deep I didn’t touch the bottom” the reason it’s so deep is because it’s not really a fountain but a holding container for the giant Kyogre Robot, while the one at the Groudon Canyon Academy would be stored in a cavern under the Canyon or something. That way once the “doomsday” situation happens it would be large scale enough for everyone to have something to do and also be interesting, whilst technically not breaking any rules since they aren’t actually pokemon, just machines created for environmental chaos (Kyogre robot makes floods Groudon Robot makes drought) and we could beat it with like a “hyaaa power of friendship giant robot destroyer” type move. Plus we could also have a part where some of us split up, some of us go to Groudon Canyon to try and stop the Groudon robot while the rest of the characters stay behind and fight the Kyogre Robot that way there won’t be as much dependency for other people to post

And even then that adds more exposition for other things we mentions doing like Reeses archeological club maybe could dig so deep they stumble into the underground lake that is being used as a holding unit.

Also when I say giant robot I mean Evangelion sized robots that could flood the world, though if we did go through with this plot we should probably ask first just to be safe.

And I mean yeah, saying all this if we DO go through with it it would be spoiled for all of us, but I feel like knowing what the climax is supposed to be would help with the overarching storyline while still giving us the freedom to do what we want inbetween where we are now and where we need to be when we would hypothetically get there

I like this idea, but yeah we'd need permission for a ton of stuff if we did this

Personally, I think I like the first option.
