Private/Closed Legends Arceus: Diamond and Pearl

Kawa Ko, Night 7, Jubilife Village. 18/20 HP

Everything was going just like he wanted it to, chaos. The more their forces were divided the better the odds of accomplishing his mission. As he ran over the rooftops though, somehow, one of the Pokemon that had chased after Asahi was now on his trail, speedy thing. It got worse when the Pokemon attacked him. The Thundeshock was evaded, since Kawa was a moving target, but the Spark? Not so much, he was fast, but Pokemon were naturally faster. As Kawa jumped to avoid the first attack, he barely had time to react as the Spark connected with him, making him stand his ground with all his strength to avoid being knocked off his feet. Then, the Aqua Jet.

Seriously?!

Kawa could barley take on the impact of a Luxio, but the added projected Dewott? The electricity in his body intensified as he was knocked down, rolled down the roof and landed face down on the dirt below. Pain. That's all he could feel at the moment. No point in using Smoke Bombs, if the Alpha Luxray could see through stones, Luxio probably could do something similar. No point in fighting, they would win. He had to keep running. The Galaxy Hall was just up ahead.

Kawa struggled to his feet again, feeling a bit dazed before breaking into a sprint again. This time there were now guards on him, they weren't going to catch up any time soon, but he had attracted even more attention to himself.

Kague, Night 7, House Makeover in Jubilife Village.

Kague hissed and barked at the humans throwing things at her, running under furniture, evading them and trying to keep herself from being caught or hurt. It didn't help that some stupid monkey and its human burst into the scene. Wait! That was the way out! Kague yapped to alarm the innocent humans before, shooting a barrage of glowing stars at the monkey and his pet. Once again, her eyes glowed, activating her Detect ability and bolting out of the door. She was free from them, she was on her way to-

Uff!

Kague felt the wait of something land on top of her. It couldn't be, she had been caught! She was so focused on using her Detect to avoid the monkey and his minion that she forgot to scout for anyone outside. She struggled and moved to break free, only to realize she recognize the scent. It was the wild Eevee, he had betrayed her!

Kague yapped and squirmed, while her eyes got filled with tears at the thought of getting caught so soon. She had failed once again! She deserved to be abandoned, to be replaced! Dishonor on her, dishonor on her family, dishonor on her species, dishonor on her Miltank!

Kei Fudo - Day 7, Night - Jubilife Village - 20/20 HP

A search-and-recover mission, not quite a mission Kei was a fan of. It wasn't that she disliked doing missions, but this mission included stealth and that was just not her forte. As she arrived at the fence surrounding Jubilife village, she heard sounds of a battle raging on inside. Some part of her wanted to join in and protect Jubilife, but she had her orders and had to stick to them. As she released her trusty partner, Mochi, she ordered the Hippopotas to use Dig and create a tunnel for her to enter the village.

It was chaos inside, and it might be a good distraction for her. Recalling Mochi, deeming her too slow and obvious, she snuck through the village. Her goal, the Galaxy Hall and the egg stored inside. Something about it was special, and her clan wanted it. She didn't know why, but Kei was never one to ask questions regarding orders. She just hoped she did not get caught.

As he stood watch, Tatsu couldn't help but feel that there was something else on the way. The guy that just got in couldn't have been the only one. With this in mind, Tatsu slowed his breathing before stabbing his staff into the ground between his feet. While it did stop shaking after gripping it, he felt a constant vibration through the wood, like something was moving underground. Having felt this, Tatsu promptly got onto his stomach, placing an ear to the ground. What he felt and heard he could not say, but he did not want take any chances. Lifting his head the blind man whistled to Avani and punched the ground where he thought he heard something going on. Knowing exactly what he meant, the Teddiursa slammed her paw into the ground, using Bulldoze where the ground seemed weaker than before. The resulting shockwave caused the weaker areas to begin collapsing, revealing a previously hidden tunnel. Hopefully whoever was down there was still relatively close to their starting point. @DarkHydraT
Meanwhile, Storm was having a heck of a time chasing after Kawa. While her Thundershock did miss him, she was still able to get him with a Spark that was quickly enhanced by Zashi's Aqua Jet. Needless to say, Storm was quite impressed with this human's perseverance, being able to get back up after getting electrocuted like he was is not easy. Still, she did not have time to admire his adaptability and quickly got the Dewott onto her back before continuing their pursuit. @Hecotoro

~Bo Lake...~
~Boa(Ninjask)(Male), Toar(shedinja)(genderless). Squirmy(wurmple)(Male)...~
~Location, Jubilife Village(outside the HQ)...~
~Day 7 Night...~

Yua managed to get the intruder away from the roof, and Tatsu managed to find some underground tunnel digging. Whatever could that be? Bo looked back to the intruder who began sprinting towards HQ. It was a good thing he had Squirmy stand ready for this.

"Boa! Cut his path off with an aerial ace! Squirmy! Use stringshot to stop the intruder! I'll block any exit attempts." Bo said rushing in to close the gap. With Toar on his shoulder, he had protection if the intruder came for him. Flying fast, wings cutting through wind. Boa was a blue as he soared past Kawa, ready to cut if he didn't move back. Bo and Toar coming from the rear to block escape and Squirmy up high to try capture Kawa.

Day 7
Itachi "Weasel" Nakamura
Jubilife Village
HP: 20/20
Pokemon: TBD the Aipom

When the second Eevee had "captured" the first one, Itachi quickly looked around, as Aipom quickly stood just next to both Eevees, to make sure the first one (Kague) didn't escape again.

Soon, after he had "borrowed" a circular wicker basket from the family who lived in the house, as well as a wooden cutting board, Itachi quickly located the three pokemon, and quickly approached the two Eevees, and made a whistle for the one who had Kague pinned to get out of the way for him to bring it down.

"Alright, enough playing around, this isn't a JOOOKE-"

He spoke as he quickly brought the wicker basket down upon Kague in an attempt to contain her inside it, as he also attempted to slide the cutting board under the wicker basket with Kague inside it, like how one might trap a spider in a cup and put a piece of paper under the cup to keep them inside securely.

Jubilife Village
Day 7, Night

“String shot.” Shiroi twined the sticky threads with bits of grass and carefully padded them across the ground. Then, he covered the thread with leaves and stepped away to admire his work. While the battle had been raging, Shiroi had laid down a fuse trail of flammable sticky threads covered by leafy kinder. Shoot the girls with string shot? Don’t be ridiculous, what if he missed? No, Shiroi had gone for a slower, but more certain approach.

Once the fuse was lit, the flames would quickly trace the kinder and create a circle of fire. The circle would tie down the girls who, if they were anything like him, wouldn’t be too eager to jump through a wall of flames. The flames probably wouldn’t stop their pokémon, especially that Rhyhorn—it looked like flames wouldn’t bother it; but, pinning down the trainers was just as good, if not better. Of course, this all depended on his plan going smoothly.

There was just one problem, he needed to get Rick & Iris to ignite the fuse without alerting their foes and preferably without exposing himself...maybe he could get Fujiki to do it? Yea, that seemed like a good idea. She’d be able to alert Rick and then her bird would be able to stir and control the flames. Where was Fujiki anyway...?

Yua Yamamoto
Day 7, Night
Location: Jubilife Village Streets
Trainer HP: 18/20
Pokémon
: Zashi the Dewott; Julian the Eevee
Condition(s): Bandaged (Wounds are covered and are healing properly)

Interactions: Kawa Ko and Kague the Eevee (Hecotoro), Storm the Luxio (Draco Nightshade), Boa the Ninjask, Toar the Shedinja, Squirmy the Wurmple (ThAtGuY101), Itachi and Aipom (BloodRedRobot)
Mentions: Bo Lake (ThAtGuY101)

Zashi had made her mark and she landed on the rooftop to peek below to see Kawa on the ground. Hmph, he managed to power through and get up to continue running. Growling, she jumped out of the way of the Luxio trying to put her on her back and used Aqua Jet again, soaring through the air to then land in front of Kawa, brandishing her scalchops and shaking her head with disappointment in her eyes. She watched as Bo's Pokemon went to cut off his path, watching Kawa to make sure he didn't get past them.

Meanwhile, Kague had been wrestled down by Julian, keeping her still while Itachi and his Aipom came out with wicker basket. Seeing Kague be so upset had Julian also getting upset. He whined, burying his face in her collar to ignore the urge to let her go, letting Itachi throw down the wicker basket on top of them. Feeling something coming under them to keep them trapped, Julian struggled to keep her paws from getting caught, and also struggled to keep her limbs from moving so she didn't use any moves to break the wicker basket. He whined, apologizing, and that he was only doing his job and couldn't bear to see her hurt.

After yelling at Zisu what's going on, Yua looked back at Itachi after seeing him walk outside. "ITACHI!!" She yelled, running over to him. "Get in position at the gate, hurry. I'll take care of Ka-er... The Eevee. Make sure nobody else gets in." She held her hands over the wicker basket, waiting for Itachi to leave and return back to the gate.

Day 7
Itachi "Weasel" Nakamura
Jubilife Village
HP: 20/20
Pokemon: TBD the Aipom

After he had successfully entrapped both Eevees (one intentionally and one not) in the basket and board, spider style, Itachi panted as he slowly sat up, and leaned against the basket, as he looked at the Aipom, the two staring at each other for a few seconds, as both attempted to catch their breath, before they both "grinned", and Itachi laughed a little, as he wiped his forehead, and sat up.

"Not a joke..." he repeated to himself as he did, and looked at the Aipom in thought.

"Joke...joke..."

He repeated, before the nonexistent lightbulb went off in his head.

"...Jojo?"

Aipom tilted its head to the side with a blink, before it seemed to grin and suddenly lunged forward at Itachi, causing the human to make a noise of surprise, as the monkey nimbly swung itself around the human's shoulders, now sat on Itachi's back and shoulders, held on.

Itachi, after he had adjusted to the sudden weight, looked at the pokemon in surprise, before he smiled and nodded.

"Heh, alright...Jojo it is. C'mon, lets get these two somewhere that isn't someone's house..."

He spoke, as Jojo quickly hopped off Itachi and back to the ground, while Itachi carefully picked up the basket and board, one hand on each to keep the trapped Eevees inside, as he and Jojo hurriedly made their way out of the house, not wanting to deal with the probably more then annoyed family.

When Yua hurried over, Itachi blinked and looked at her, listening carefully, before he nodded and carefully handed over the basket.

"Careful, there's two of em in there, another one showed up and held the first one down!" he spoke as he hurriedly back-stepped a few times towards the gate, as did Jojo, before both hurriedly ran off in the direction of the Gate again.

Kague, Pearl's Clan greatest ninja, Night 7.

That traitor had pinned her down and to make things even worse, she was handed over to Yua! Oh was Kawa gonna be heart broken, but that was an issue for another day. Kague growled at Julian, letting him know she felt completely betrayed and they were now mortal enemies. With the rage boiling in the Eevee, Kague's fur began to glow white and then...

Boom!

The makeshift cage exploded from Kague's Swift attack, liberating both Eevee and giving Kague a chance to land on her feet in front of Yua and Julian, growling at them and getting ready to fight for her honor!

Kawa Ko, Night 7, Jubilife Village. 16/20 HP

More?! They were definitely trying to kill him, it was time to start defending himself. Kawa rushed ahead, turning his back towards the weird zooming bug, taking the Aerial Ace to his lower back side. He bit his tongue to fight through the pain and kept going, only to get showered by String Shot. Annoying, mostly because none of them were that good when the Luxray was mopping the floor with them! It didn't matter anymore, using his kunai, Kawa cut himself lose from the sticky fluids, despite his clothes being still full of them slowing him a bit down. He had to keep going!

Fujiki Oshuoka - Night 7
HP 18/20

"Um, NO THANK YOU!" Fujiki heard the bandit's threat from her vantage point at the top of the hill, but surely the woman wouldn't be able to reach her, right?

WRONG!

The pointy-haired woman adeptly leapt from point to point, making a complete beeline for the Johtoan girl, who went pale in the face of her impending doom. Fujiki couldn't fight! She could barely do the push-ups that Captain Zisu assigned that day in training with Kotai!

Wait! That was it! In a matter of seconds the bandit would be on her, but she could get down the hill and over to her pokémon just as quick. That blue frog-thing would be an issue, but at least she'd be closer to Senta and Kotai to back her up.

But how were they doing? Her purple eyes caught a clash of moves; Poison against Ground. Senta harassed their opponent from above, while Kotai countered— did the bandit call it 'Venoshock' —with <<Mud Slap>>. They were holding their own well enough, then, but what about Rick and Shi—

"EEK!" Fujiki jumped as a hand crested the top of the hill and the bandit pulled herself the rest of the way up. Would she have to fight, after all? Her heartbeat rang in her ears as adrenaline dumped into her system, and she barely heard the woman's next words.

"Your luck's run out, girl!" The bandit woman swiped a hand at Fujiki, whose feet tried to carry her backwards only to find a distinct lack of purchase.

She was right! Without so much as a peep, Fujiki slipped backwards and started rolling down the steep side of the hill. Her unceremonious escape surprised Fujiki as much as she imagined it did the bandit.

"OOF!"
"UH!"
"OwOwOwOw!"

By the time she hit the bottom, Fujiki's arms and legs sprouted a new collection of bruises. Rolling down the hill hurt, but she was alive, and the woman was still at the top! Now, to get to Senta and Kotai!

The Johtoan girl picked herself up, ignoring the aches of her bruised legs, and took off toward her pokémon. "Kotai, <<Iron Defense>>! Senta, <<Aerial Ace>>!" Both of her teammates were able to buff themselves up, and by taking turns engaging the blue frog they might be able to whittle it down.

End of Night 7.

Just as mysteriously as they had arrived, they disappeared. The Miss Fortune sisters scattered away as soon as back up arrived to the gate, swearing to take their revenge one day. The damage had been done though, despite being able to drive the attackers away, the gate had taken much damage from the Rhydon and Abomasnow. A declaration the village was not as prepared as they thought they were.

Kawa meanwhile had to use his flash bomb to escape, that or be slice into pieces by the buzzing bug Pokemon and Dewott. Despite the paralysis inflected on him by the Luxio, he managed to escape. Kague did the same, even his Glameow. They had failed and had to report back to his clan. Which was the worst possible outcome.

Day 7 - 10

Kawa's father was not happy, forcing the former Platinum Team leader into training non stop. If Kawa hadn't passed out from the lack of food and water, who knows how many more days he would've been forced into it. In his mind though, he deserved it, for failing to accomplish his mission. Kague stuck to him until the end, sleeping curled up next to her unconscious partner until he was finally waken up by the medical in their group. Nobody had actually informed Kague or Kawa of the transformation the Eevee had gone through overnight, feeling it was something they should face together. Even Asahi, the Glameow, was impressed by it, finally joining the two.

Jubilife Village, Day 10.

"We've gathered you all here, for the most important mission you will ever have." Zisu stood next to commander Kamado, her arms crossed and her face had a stern expression to it. "Team Platinum, you are to save the world today."

The team had been gathered in the office of the commander, a rare occasion, but it was the least they could after dropping such a situation on the young member's shoulders. Kamado cleared his throat, his eyes probably more intimidating than the Alpha Luxray's. "You know now, that we have been getting attacked. This, being the reason."

The leader of the Galaxy Corps moved to his desk, removing a blanket and uncovering their secret. The item seemed to be formed out of various crystals, with a faint glow inside of it. Professor Laventon carefully picked it up and walked over to the group so they could get a closer look. Despite being made of some type of diamonds, there was a warmth and sense of life coming from it.

"Beautiful huh?" The Professor seemed to be talking to himself more than to the group, before he looked up at them. "This here is by far the most precious thing we have ever encountered. It contains a powerful Pokemon. According to legends, it wakes up every thousand years and has the power to grant one wish." His amazement turned into a frown. "You can understand why the clans were fighting over it now right? We aren't against their believes or anything like that. But, if in the wrong hands, a wish with the right intentions could turn the world into chaos." The professor almost seemed sad as he spoke, looking back down at the egg. "Therefore, we must make sure nobody makes a wish, no matter what."

The commander walked up to them. "Your mission, keep this away from everyone. I hate to admit it, but even we're tempted to use his wish for our own gains. We are thinking clearly now, but who knows what will happen when it wakes up. Therefore, Team Platinum, it is up to you to make sure nobody gets ahold of it. The egg is to wake up in approximately 5 days according to the professor. We will keep the clans distracted as much as possible to give you time to escape. I know choosing the newest members for such an important task must be insane, but you are the ones the clans least expect."

"You heard the man, buckle up, get ready and go, now!" Zisu took the egg from the professor and handed it to Yua. "Leave before the clans find out, do not talk to anyone, specially clan members!" Her eyes fixed on Estuko and Yua. "Try to throw your enemies off your track, separate into groups, take turns caring for the egg and whatever you do, do not let anybody get close to it when it hatches. We're trusting the fate of the region, maybe even the world, on you." Zisu wrapped the egg into the same blanket while in Yua's hands and gave them a confused look. "Go go go!"

"Take care of Jirachi!" The professor called out as the the group was kicked out of the office, his face filled with worry and concern.

The next three days after the night raid were considerably hectic for Tatsu and the others. Sure, they were able to repel the attackers, but that did not make it any less of a mess. When they had regrouped with Zisu after the fact, she had more or less chewed him out for scaring some of the residents with his roar, while simultaneously complimenting his skill? Needless to say, at the time, Tatsu was confused.
After arriving at HQ and being given an assignment to guard an egg of all things, of course Tatsu and the others were suddenly kicked out of HQ and needed to get out of town. He then turned to the others, still wondering what just happened. "So, any ideas on where to hide out and what to do about division of personel?"

Yuki, the Ralts Girl
Day 7- night, Jubilife Village/Floaro Garden, Obsidian Feildlands
20/20 HP

During the fight, Yuki could sense the overwhelming aggression that hung like a cloud through the town. It was suffocating, as if it were a weed that tangled itself around the roots that she made here, killing her desire to stay. That's why she always left the Diamond Clan. She thought this place would be different! She should've noticed the signs when the Diamond and Pearl Clans brought a sickening aura of hostility and distrust that was unbearable, or at the very least when the Galaxy Corps. started assigning her guard duty two days ago! A part of her wanted to ask Tulip to bring her back home to their mom! To avoid human contact once more! She knew Tulip would do it, she hated this more than she did! However, another side of her knew she couldn't, not when she promised that she would actually try this time. Besides, it felt... different, like it wasn't necessarily wanted. Though, she still wanted out. She grabbed Tulip and started making her way to where she felt where most of the conflict was at, trying to help resolve it as she tried to suppress her worries and doubts.

Tulip squirmed in Yuki's arms, crying out. The anger and hostility was too much for her. Why was Yuki bringing them closer to the place they should be avoiding? What happened to her sister?! First trying to fight the giant Pokemon, and now trying to play hero here as well? Especially since their teammates were fighting a former teammate. She was unsure of it before, but she could tell it was the leader ninja guy attacking them, or at the very least one of the people fighting them. It made no sense to the Feeling Pokemon, but it was what she felt. Tulip needed them to get out of there. This was worse than the Luxray! Where was a good place to send them? Their old home was a bit too far off for her to teleport to, and the camp might also be under attack. Maybe the clearing near the flowers? That's where that Pokemon Yuki had taken an interest in lived, right? They were constantly going there these days, trying to feed the bird daily. Perhaps she could bring them there. Under the mop of green hair, Tulip's eyes glowed a light cyan before both she and Yuki disappeared.

Yuki felt a wave of anger pulse through her as soon as she found herself, once again, teleported away from danger without her consent, though also a small sense of relief that she quickly hid from Tulip. Why was Tulip continuously doing this? Why in Sinnoh's name would she repeatably do this? Even in the darkness of night, she knew where she was teleported to. This was where they met with the Fletchling every single day, if they could make it here. She could sense the distress of her sister. Was her anger with this making her scared? A part of her thought it was deserved, but her small rational thought left told her to at the very least tone down how much her sister felt. She was awful for teleporting her out of helping out the people at Jubilife once again, but empaths like her family were extremely sensitive to these things. She still made sure Tulip knew she was mad at her for this, but not to the extent she was blasting her sister with. She communicated loosely to Tulip that they needed to return. By the time Tulip teleported them back (after taking care of her extreme stress), the conflict was once again over.

Day 10- Jubilife Villiage, Galaxy Corps Headquarters
The days following the huge attack were, honestly, not too interesting. Fortunately, everything was so chaotic that no one really noticed she quite literally disappeared. She continued her classes, slowly becoming better at the language. She could even write a little now! She also still went out to feed the Fetchling, though now utilized Tulip's ability to teleport there to get there and back instantly. The Tiny Robin was getting more friendly as well, slowly getting closer and closer to her. She still struggled to get food on her own, but with Yuki's help, she was surviving.

On the tenth day of officially being part of the Galaxy Corps. and being on the Platinum Team, she and the rest of her remaining teammates were called to the commander's office. To be totally honest, it was terrifying. The last time she saw the Commander was when she was joining the village, and he was intimidating then as well. Though it seemed he was personally handing them a mission along with the professor and Zisu? The "egg," if it could be called that, was absolutely gorgeous. She never saw something so beautiful before. It was far more beautiful than those dull crystals her mind couldn't help but compare the egg to, simply out of similar material. She quickly refocused, trying to keep her mind off of the egg. After processing it, the mission soon became simple, in her mind. Though she knew in practice, it wouldn't be so easy to keep the egg out of the wrong hands. Soon afterwards, she was kicked out of the office along with the others.

The pressure placed on Yuki was, quite frankly, immense. How in Sinnoh's name could she do this with Tulip always teleporting her out of important situations?! Sure, a part of her wanted out of the fight in Jubilife, but she never agreed to be removed! And now she was to be trusted with this very important egg that could literally grant any wish once it hatches? Who knew what sort of things the Clans would wish for if they got their hateful hands on it. She did her best to hide her worries from Tulip, instead replicating the anger she felt during the teleportation from a few days ago, trying to keep her from pulling a stunt like that again. Though, that soon gave Yuki a new worry: what about her new Fletchling friend? Would she be able to survive for about five days without her? Had she been doing more harm than good feeding the bird?

Her thoughts were soon interrupted by a voice. She glanced at Tatsu, processing what he said for a moment. That was a good question, where were they going to bring the egg and how were they going to divide the group? After all, it would be stupid for them to all go as one huge group, and they needed to take it far from here. Far from the three main human civilizations. While her heart said that her family was a decent place to hide it, it was too close to the Diamond Clan. No. It had to be very far away. "Very far. I don't know how far, but very far." She looked to Yua. She had the egg, surely she had some idea where to bring it. Yuki honestly has only been to the Crimson Mirelands and the Obsidian Fieldlands, neither of which were suited for the task at hand.

Yua Yamamoto
Day 7, Night
Location: Jubilife Village Streets
Trainer HP: 18/20
Pokémon
: Zashi the Dewott; Julian the Eevee
Condition(s): Bandaged (Wounds are covered and are healing properly)

Interactions: Kawa Ko and Kague the Eevee (Hecotoro), Itachi (BloodRedRobot)

As Yua rushed in to take the basket from Itachi and he explained vaguely there were two Pokemon in there, she nodded and held the basket down from its top. But that didn't prevent it from shattering into wick bits from Kague's Swift, Julian being knocked back and into Yua's stomach, making her fall back on her bottom.

Julian yipped back at Kague, saying they didn't have to be mortal enemies, that this was just a scuffle between two opposing parties like he'd seen out in the wild, and she was just taking orders like he was. Maybe they were able to talk this one out.

Meanwhile, Zashi honed her sights on Kawa, who was approaching. She didn't give a damn about whatever Yua thought about this boy, he was trouble. However, unlike before with any other attack, her eyes glinted.

Detect.

She was going to detect his movements and keep him blocked. However, the flash bomb had disrupted her Detect. Covering her eyes, she rubbed them before looking around for Kawa, only to see him run back the way he came.

That was when Kague left, and the Glameow rejoined them. Yua could only let out a sigh, groaning a little. "Damn..."

Her heart hurt.

But they did their duty, and she reported back to Zisu, letting her know that Kawa had fled. While not capturing him, this was the next best thing.

She just hoped his father didn't grill him too hard.

Day 10
Location: Kamado's Office, Galaxy Hall, Jubilife Village
Trainer HP: 20/20
Pokémon
: Zashi the Dewott; Julian the Eevee
Condition(s): N/A

Interactions: Tatsu (Draco Nightshade), Etsuko Joy (IDKWhatUserNameToDo), Shiroi Chisanakiyo (kyuukestu), Bo Lake (ThAtGuY101), Itachi (BloodRedRobot), Rick (Ridge), Yuki (ThePlayfulFox), Zisu, Professor Laventon, Commander Kamado

As Yua rested for a bit after all that had happened, she went right back into work - either taking shifts as a guard or fixing up the damages alongside her brother in the construction department at the south gate. It was almost peaceful, but there was a foreboding feel in the air just like the days leading up to the attack on the town.

So when the tenth day since she was enrolled on Team Platinum arrived, she was honestly confused as to why the commander wanted to see them. Going into Kamado's room and seeing the others there for their debriefing, Yua did a headcount. Seven; eight if she included herself.

Good for two or four groups, honestly, but four was too many.

Already, she was thinking about the next possible actions. If they were all gathered here, it was likely they were here to do something together. She listened intently, her face a perpetual scowl as she took it all in.

Needing to save the world was a bit of a stretch, wasn't it? But Zisu wasn't much known for overreaching platitudes, she was known for impressing the matters made upon them. That delivery had her nervous, because she knew everyone was going to be looking at her next for their next step.

Like the Alpha Luxray she fought bravely against, she stared into Kamado's eyes unflinchingly, despite how intimidating he was. As Kamado revealed the reason, her scowl softened, eyes sparkling at the crystalline "egg". As Laventon came close to the group, Yua silently asked with her eyes as she held out a hand. Given the go ahead, she touched it briefly before it was shown to another part of their eight-man group.

It was oddly warm, not cold like she expected to feel. Like it was alive - or something was alive within. As Laventon explained the significance, she continued to stare in awe. A wish? Every thousand years?

Yua realized that it may only grant one wish or it had a time limit before it fell asleep again for another thousand years. That meant that the clans were destined to not have it, or so Yua claimed in her head. But that meant Jubilife Town shouldn't either.

So why give it to a bunch of random kids, who had wishes and dreams of their own?

Still, the saying 'careful what you wish for' held even more true. To wish for whatever the Pearl or Diamond clan believed - anything to do with the existence of their god - really could be left up to interpretation.

Hearing the commander being so transparent with them was honestly a relief. To hear that they may want to use it was what Yua was thinking on. That meant she couldn't trust any of the Jubilife Townspeople either.

Apparently, the thing inside was going to wake up in five days, so keep it away until then. They had quite some time to play with, but some of that initial time was ensured with their distractions just as long as they used the time wisely.

Taking the egg once it was given to her by Zisu, she nodded at her further instructions. Her plans were already made, and Zisu only confirmed the best one. With Zisu's last important impression of what this mission was, she felt all the weight on her shoulders, but she wasn't blind to the others' issues either. Yuki looked nervous, like she was just as concerned about all this pressure put upon them.

Keeping the bundle close to her chest, she looked on at the adults as they were ushered out of Kamado's office.

Jirachi...

Their faces said it all before the doors shut behind them. "They don't think we can do it. So we'll show them we can." She said defiantly, the fire in her alight as she turned to look at the eight around her.

"First off, we can't trust any of our families or townspeople. Don't tell them anything. Go home, get what you need for a survival run for a week. Make sure the food you get doesn't need to be heated or not heated too much. When making fire, two tips: One, don't use anything green for a fire if you were to make one unless you want to create a tower of smoke as a distraction, and two, make it into smoldering embers so nobody can see the light from afar. Cover your tracks and make tracks that lead to nowhere if you can. If you use Pokemon to scout, don't keep them scouting for too long, they may be set upon or their location may be used to find you. Do it seemingly randomly to keep them guessing. Etsuko, get as many medical supplies as we can feasibly take from the medical wing, we'll need to divvy up the supplies for each group, materials to make Potions and Potions. If any of you guys find something that may be useful, take it." She paused, letting it seep through.

"Once we head out there, make sure you have Pokeballs handy. If Kawa and Kei will be used to find us and if they told them about what Pokemon we may have, it's a good idea to get one or two more for our teams to keep them guessing. That also means we need to make sure those new additions trust us. Spend time with them, feed them, groom them, treat and pet them, show their importance to you, and they'll eventually warm up to you and work with you. Takes a while, but you'll need them more than they know." She paused, looking out the window for a moment and letting it soak in before continuing.

"We will be split into two groups of four. As for places to hide out, we can't stay in Obsidian Fieldlands, too close to home. Can't go to any of the places too near their villages either, that's practically a death sentence. The only place we have left is Cobalt Coastlands and from what I remember, that's on the east side of Hisui. Each group will be far enough away where we won't alert them to the others, but close enough that a short run will get us to each other if something bad happens or when we need to pass off the egg. The goal is to keep them guessing where we are and who has the egg. It would be too obvious for me to have it. It's likely the Pearl Clan will use that against us if Kawa told them, considering I'm considered a leader to them. So... once we get out there and once we have to split up, at first I'm giving the egg to-..." She then looked at Rick.

"Rick, and whoever is grouped with him. The reason why I choose you is because of your leadership and your Ponyta. We won't ever be fighting, so having fast legs will suit you here. They will be hard pressed to find you if you play your cards right. Rick, you'll have Itachi, Etsuko and Bo. Bo's got bugs for scouting, Etsuko with her medical knowledge, and Itachi for his knowledge on sneaking around. Bo and Itachi both know how to survive out there, too. Because you have a mount in your Ponyta, Tatsu will be with me, Shiroi, and Yuki, mainly for his Stantler if he doesn't mind being a mount and to keep Shiroi at ease with his exceptional hearing. Shiroi will help us with defense, I know a bit of medical knowledge, and Tatsu and Yuki know how to survive out there. Now, the leaving part."

Pausing again, she made sure everyone was listening intently before moving on. "If we leave today, we will leave Obsidian Fieldlands and be at Cobalt Coastlands within a couple days. We will be leaving during the day, and we will use two wagons. One will be pulled by Tatsu's Stantler, and it will have all of us and our supplies. If anyone has Pokémon who can help pull the wagon, please say so. The second wagon will be pulled by Rick's Ponyta with some random things and leading another way, and will leave first to get their attention, so we may leave in relative safety. Once I have a map, I will show you, Rick, what path we'll be taking so you know where to lead Ponyta once you ditch the wagon. We will be keeping as much of a distance between Alabaster Icelands and Crimson Mirelands the best we can because they have the Pearl and Diamond Clan settlements. So we can get to Cobalt Coastlands without alerting their surveillance. If they find the wagon as we move along, we'll need to find ways to deter them from following us or we split up into the groups I said and we dip. Shiroi can be in charge of our wagon defenses. Once we make it to the coastlands, get everything out of the wagon and send the wagon into the waters to get rid of our scent and our tracks. Then, we will split up in our groups." With a pause, she looked out over everyone.

"Any suggestions? I'm aware I have become a sort of leader, but I want you guys to let me know if there is any issues from anything I have said or overlooked. If there is a problem you find out later, let us know and we may devise a plan to make sure it's covered." With that, she waited to see if anyone has any other ideas before they set out.

Yua looked over at Tatsu with a grin. "Pretty sure Itachi can be good with making those noises. Teach him. As for other kinds of signals, send your Pokemon's attacks into the sky. It'll alert your pursuers that you called for backup, which will alert to them that there is another group to find. They may or may not leave you alone. However, that's all we have to go on for right now. It's not the ideal, nor is it the best, but we're currently working with what we have right now. Unless someone has a wind instrument they can blow into, that's all the ideas I have on that."

On to Tatsu's next question, her lips tightened into a straight line. "We won't be stationed anywhere. If we stay in one place for too long, they'll find you. You have to keep moving. I need a map, and my hands are full. Someone either get it for me or hold the egg." She said, looking around to see if anyone has a map on hand or was willing to hold it instead of her.

Tatsu shrugged before clicking in Yua's direction. Once he found her, he reached out and gently took the egg from her hands, noticing the warmth it gave off right away. "I'll hold onto Jirachii for a bit if you want to mark the route we'll be taking." While he maintained a firm but gentle grip, Avani climbed down a bit to touch the egg as well.

Jubilife Village
Day 10, Morning

“I object to everything!”

Shiroi hastily signed the cross. He didn’t want to do this but the demoness was crazy! In charge of defense? Him? No way! The elder demoness had already turned him into bait on their last mission and Shiroi could see the younger following in her footsteps. Not today! He'd foil their dastardly plans!

”Wagons are a bad idea; if you need them then you’re carrying too much. Decoys are a good idea, but Pontya and Stantler aren't exactly inconspicuous. It would be too easy for the clans to track them back to us. Besides, you have your priorities backward—” Shiroi glanced at Yua, watching for any signs of impending violence.

The boy nervously gestured towards Rick and Tatsu. “They’re great for when we want to escape but their pokémon are big and hard to hide, and that’s a problem. You only want to run once you’re found and we don’t want to be found in the first place. See, you’ve been planning like the clans know we have the egg and will certainly come after us. But that's getting ahead of yourself. The clans don’t even know we have the egg and that’s why it was entrusted to us in the first place, because it wouldn’t be expected. We need to keep it that way.

“Instead of a complex plan that, frankly, will only draw attention, we should hide in plain sight, pretend as if it's business as usual. We should depart with a minimal number of supplies and blend in with the other groups out on the regular expeditions to collect berries, once we’re in the field we can slip away. We can hide the egg amongst the regular medical supplies used to set up camp with Etsuko or someone else keeping an eye on it.

“If we do it this way we can hide the fact that the egg has even left the village. And even once the Clans have figured it out, they won't know when we left or who we even are. They might notice that some members of the Galaxy Corp are missing, but by the time they've done all that we’ll be long gone.”

Shiroi spoke up, objecting to everything. Yua paused and quirked her head to the side. He sounded like an insane madman rambling, but there was a lot of truth to that. Her grin creeped a bit more around her face and she chuckled, ignoring the symbol he made with his fingers.

"Good, you know how to do this far better. We'll follow your plan, Shiroi. That sounds a lot simpler. Thank you. Guess we won't need wagons after all." The fact that she baited Shiroi into saying a better plan was hilarious to her, but it was something she hoped he'd go against to make a far better plan. "If that's the case, then we should check when the next people set out for supplies. We do have Pokeballs, so we can hide our Pokemon if they're too big. But how are we going to get to Cobalt Coastlands? We're on the west coast, and the Coastlands are on the east coast. Unless our goal is to just travel in that direction, I don't want to be anywhere near the Mirelands and that's where we'll be near if we go that direction."

"Just a silly idea, but what if we all carry our own 'egg'? Or at least craft something that looks like ours?" Tatsu had covered the egg by now and added. "I mean, we're going to be in two groups anyway so, we could have one guard a decoy while the other takes care of the original."

Yuki, the Ralts Girl
Day 10- Jubilife Villiage, Galaxy Corps Headquarters
20/20 HP

Yuki honestly agreed with Shiroi, especially as she thought more about it. Wagons were not subtle at all. Not to mention, running was the last resort that anyone took when dealing with Pokemon. Except for teleporting but not everyone could teleport. She should probably tell them that Tulip could teleport. She was thankful that Yua went along with Shiroi's suggestions. No need to act like they angered a giant Gyarados when they haven't even seen a Magikarp yet. Though, Yuki still had one problem: she didn't know where anything was at location-wise. Except that the Crimson Mirelands was surrounded by the Obsidian Fieldlands, Mt. Coronet, the ocean, and apparently Cobalt Coastlands, clearly in the one direction she didn't go. Or see, in the case of the ocean and Mt. Coronet. She did know that the mountain was filled with very strong and dangerous Pokemon, though. Not all were aggressive, per say, but thinking back on the Drampa that came from Mt. Coronet, she would not want to see an aggressive Pokemon from there. She had just opened her mouth to tell Yua this when Tatsu gave his decoy idea. After processing what he said, she thought about the plan. If the egg was plainer, she would've supported it wholeheartedly, but it wasn't. There was no way they could make a decoy of this. She sighed, shaking her head as Tulip copied her. "The egg is too... fancy? Too one of a kind. It would be very hard to recreate it if it can be done." She looked back to Yua. "Mt. Coronet is close to Crimson Mirelands but it has a lot of strong Pokemon. Not a good idea. I know the Crimson Mirelands, though! I lived there when I was small. I also know where the Diamond Camp is. Unless they moved it. Oh! And if things get bad, Tulip can teleport. She got three home places: my home, Floaro Gardens, and my family home."

INVENTORY
- Pokeball x10
-Potions x5
-Full Heals x3
-Crafting Tools
-Empty Pokeball (key item)

Hearing Yuki speak up, Tatsu had to agree to some extent. "Uh, while I do agree that the egg is one of a kind, wouldn't it look just like any other if it's covered up in plain sight? Maybe carry it in a sling with a covering of sorts?" While he explained, Avani got to work. She knew exactly what he meant and pulled a long piece of cloth from his bag. Despite appearances, Avani managed to tie the shorter ends together and hung it on Tatsu's right shoulder, his head and left arm were through the opening. When Tatsu felt Avani's handiwork, he tested the knot by pulling on the cloth. When it didn't come undone, he unfolded the middle of it and placed the egg inside, freeing up his left hand. "See?"

Day 10
Itachi "Weasel" Nakamura
Jubilife Village
HP: 20/20
Pokemon: Jojo the Aipom

Itachi, with the recently named Jojo stood and holding onto his shoulder, glanced back at the place they were all just kicked out of, with a slight eyebrow roll on Itachi's part, used to it, before his curiosity (and or former lifestyle habits) got the best of him, as he stared at the egg curiously, half listening to the conversation the others were having around him, as Jojo tilted his head to the side as he studied the "egg" as well, his tail-hand swishing absentmindedly as the monkey pokemon did.

Itachi, after he had kept his thoughts to himself, his go-to, blinked and "snapped" out of it, looking around at the rest as they spoke, debating on if he should speak, before seemingly deciding he might as well, after the idea of a decoy and a sling for the egg came up.

"Well, I was gonna say that we should use melons or something to have 'fake eggs', but that works too." the former-criminal said without a second's thought, shrugging idly.

"I mean, that would be what I would do if I had something probably worth countless amounts of money that could give anyone anything they wanted and only happened every thousand years that I needed to get from one place to another with other multiple interested parties after it." he said in a casual, matter-of-fact tone, before he paused.

"....Not that I...ya know." he coughed.

"...old trick my parents taught me."

Day 7-10

The next few days had been quite something to ponder, with the memories of the village attack still somewhat fresh on Bo's mind. These few days went by rather smoothly. Bo trained his pokémon, and even did plenty of exercise drills to increase his physical strength, speed and durability. Albeit theres only so much you can gain within three days, but he gave it his best those three days, and spent a lot of time on the second day resting.

Day 10

That morning Bo woke up to pitch black darkness. He lifted Squirmy off his face, instantly getting hit with the bright morning light. His eyes slowly adjusted to the brightness. He got dressed in his regular uniform. Put Squirmy on his head, and covered him up with his hat. His two flying bugs latched onto his shoulders, and he made his way outside. He enjoyed a nice casual walk around the village in the morning. Very few people were out when Bo was walking about. Getting some fresh air before heading to the HQ. He still had time before he needed to be there. Arriving early anyways.

Once it was time to be there, he saw some of the others were there and talking to one another. The egg was pretty important, of that there wasn't a doubt, but he wondered what he'd wish for? Bo didn't think of a wish, but he wondered just how powerful a wish could be. Was there a limit to it's ability or was it infinite? An answer he knew he wouldn't likely ever get and had no problem accepting. The egg sure did look like something else. Not a bug, but if only he had time to sketch it. He tried memorizing what it looked like. any specific markings and/or design. Maybe later on he'd draw a rough sketch. It wouldn't be pretty, but it would be a nice lil drawing. Bo listened to the other people talk and discuss. Questions and ideas. The one that stood out was having decoy eggs. It seemed like a decent idea. Bo cleared his throat.

"Right... But if we decide to use decoys. What are we going to do with the real egg? Will we swap the egg around or will one person bare the egg the entire time? Either way, I imagine if something happens, the egg carrier will need to be protected" Bo said. He could only wonder what sort of problems they would face. Though if they succeeded in this mission, maybe it would be an opportunity to get more acknowledgment. It had certainly worked out well for Rick. Though idle thoughts like that would need to wait, and he was eager to focus on the mission. Seeing the oceanside was a nice added touch.

Rick [HP: 13/20]
Day 7 - Southern Gate, Jubilife Village

As a wall of flames formed between the Abomasnow and the gate, Clover turned around, griting her and clenching a fist. "Can't you stop messing with our work? Icicle Crash!" She yelled. The Abomasnow released a freezing wind from its mouth into the air, where a few icicles started shaping. Meanwhile, as Rick and Iris made their approach to the Rhydon...

"Rock Slide!"

The Drill Pokémon slammed its arms into the ground, then pulled them up, hurling a few rocks at the incoming duo. Rick hugged Iris with his legs and shouted. "Jump!" The ponyta sprung over the rocks, one of them barely scratching her hind leg. She landed on her front hooves right behind the Rhydon, with her hind legs pulled in. "Hit 'em!" Rick shouted. Iris kicked the Rhydon with both legs, pushing the Rock-type forward and right into the Icicle Crash. "Wha--? Sorry sis!" Clover shouted, biting her fingernails. Despite that, Charms kept with the same calm demeanor with arms crossed.

Rick smirked with a side glance towards the other girl, before turning to Charm. "Your turn now, granny!" He said, as he leaped off Iris and attempted to tackle the oldest sister. To much of his surprise, however, the woman casualy ducked out of the way. Rick rolled through the ground into a crouch position. "Alright, she actualy moves pretty well for a granny..." He muttered. "Pff... insulent child..." She said to him, with a side glance, until her attention shifted towards the Security Corps that arrived at the gate. Charm frowned. "Tsk... reinforcements. Sisters! Retreat!" She called. The three stoped what they were doing and banded together.

Rick grited his teeth while he stood up. "You're not getting anywhere!" He shouted, pointing at them. Iris started running around the sisters to build up the Fire Spin. "Use Stealth Rock!" Charm ordered. Small sharp rocks materialized around the Rhydon and scattered, before vanishing. "Stealth Rock? I'm amazed a move that does nothing even has a name!" Rick said. Soon after, Iris's circle came to an abrupt halt, as she slammed head first against an invisible rock placed in her path. The incomplete vortex phased out moments later.

"You still have a lot to learn, Galaxy fools! We'll settle our scores another day." Saying that, the sisters disappeared with a cloud of smoke.

Rick ran towards Iris, as the filly clumsily stood up, shaking her head. "Is everyone alright here?" One of the guards asked, and he approached. "Sorry for taking so long. We were having trouble at the Eastern Gate and Village streets, so... we had to set our priorities." He said. Rick raised an eyebrow. "Oh, there was more of them? 'Cause I'm pretty sure I heard Zisu saying there were three bandits. And guess how many we had to deal with." He answered back. The guard rubbed his forehead. "Yeah, well... there's more to it." He said.

Rick sighed. "Whatever! I'm well enough. Fujiki and Shiroi should be somewhere ahead. I couldn't check on them properly without leaving the gate undefended, so you can take care of that while I report this to Zisu?" The guards nodded. "Your guard shift is also over for today, we'll take it from here and let your teammates know." The guard said, before heading off.

Rick [HP: 13/20]
Day 8 - Training Grounds, Jubilife Village

The Platinum Team was given a break to compensate for the latest incident. Rick had already let Zisu know he wanted the training sessions to continue, regardless of whether there would be more night shifts or not. His group managed to drive away those women, but that didn't feel good enough for him. He wanted them captured next time. That afternoon, he headed to the Training Grounds, where Zisu arrived soon after, covering her face with a paper sheet.

"So... I was reading your papers. Says here you're pretty good at grappling? Show me!" She talked. Rick raised an eyebrow. "You want me to fight you?" He questioned. There was a moment of silence, before Zisu bursted out laughing. "HAHAHA... you must really enjoy the medical wing, don't you? Martial arts are also part of the Security Corps training. You wouldn't last a minute against me!" She said with grin. Rick tilted his head with narrowed eyes and crossed his arms. "No... You're actualy gonna fight each other!" She exclaimed, while pointing two fingers at both Rick and Iris on opposite corners of the field, at which they both gasped.

"What?!" Rick shouted. "I'm pretty sure I have higher chances of being sent to the medical wing by fighting her. She breathes fire and even has fire conveniently located on her blind spots." Rick said, pointing at the filly. Zisu crossed her arms before talking. "Ehem... Obviously, I'm banning all lethal techniques and trusting that she'll keep her flames cool enough. This is about physical prowess. No better way to improve than a sparring partner." She told them. "Besides, gotta learn how to fight in close quarters for when hit-and-run tactics fail." She added. "Ready? START!"

Rick rolled his eyes and sighed. "Alright, alright, let me just put away my stu--" Iris lunged forward, forcing Rick to duck in order to avoid her. "False start!" He protested, as he turned around to grab the filly's tail with both hands and throw her over the shoulder. Or at least that was the plan, until he realized that Ponytas actualy don't have a tail, and you can't grab fire in real life. "Huh... neat..." He muttered, before getting kicked in a... particularly sensible spot, thus learning the meaning of Critical Hit. "Iris... that's illegal..." Rick whimped, falling to his knees.

Zisu's eyes widened as she covered her mouth with both hands. "Oh lord... I think that qualifies as a Low Kick... we're making progresses already!" She said with a grin and clapping. Rick raised his head to look at the captain. "Don't incentivize her! She'll start doing it for fun!" He said. Soon after, Iris lunged at Rick with her full body, pinning him down when he was trying to get up. "Iris! That's also illegal!" Rick complained, as loud as his breath allowed. Zisu rubbed his chin. "No it's not! That's what we call a Body Slam." She told him, though it was questionable whether Rick was paying attention or not. "Now... moving on to Round 2!" Zisu said. "As soon as you're ready... and she steps out of you."

Rick [HP: 14/20]
Day 9 - Practice Field, Jubilife Village

Having learned the meaning of Critical Hit (even experiencing it), the next day, Rick was to meet Zisu at the Practice Field. She told him that today's training would be "softer", but he took that with a grain of salt. How hard a training session was was very subjective. Besides, it was also hard to figure what was the captain's definition of "soft training". Rick was leaning on a tree, when the captain showed up with... a rock under her arm?

Rick raised an eyebrow as he stared at it. The training wasn't even started, and he already started feeling that it would be everything but soft. "I won't have to do pushups with that on my back, will I?" He asked. Zisu rolled her eyes up as she thought about it. "Hmm... that's actualy a good idea. I'll take it into consideration." She said, nodding. "For now though..." She then tossed the rock at Rick, who stretched to grab it with both arms. He looked at it a bit confused. "What do I do with this crap?" He asked.

"Imagine it's an egg. You can't let anyone touch it for the next twelve hours, no matter the cost. The time starts now!" She told him. Rick raised an eyebrow as he inspected the rock once more. "Could I have something a bit more realistic? I personaly have never seen eggs this big." As he said this, a Honchcrow flew past him, snatching the rock out of his hands. "Hey!" Rick shouted, as he watched the bird droping the rock next to Zisu. "Not even a minute, and you already killed your offspring." Zisu chastised, passing the rock back at Rick. "As a penalty, give me ten pushups with that rock on your back, as you so kindly suggested." She demanded.

Rick sighed in exasperation, as he droped on all fours. "You'll need to keep your guard up at all times. Training is never over. Understand that this can happen anywhere at anytime." Zisu told him, while he did the exercise. "By the way. My Honchrow won't be the only pokémon you'll have to watch out for." She then sent her other three pokémon out of their balls. "All the skills you've learned so far. I want them all put to good use. Is that clear?" She asked, with arms crossed and straight posture. Rick stood up, stretching for a bit, until Iris walked next to him and he mounted on her, with the rock under his arm, and glancing at the pokémon surrounding him. "Transparent." He said. "Well then... let's play..."

Rick [HP: 15/20]
Day 10 - Galaxy Corps HQ, Jubilife Village

The next day, Team Platinum was summoned to Commander Kamado's office. Which was a first. And certainly, this was something of the utmost importance, as all the Galaxy Team's higher-ups were present for the meetig. Rick just wasn't sure if it was a good or a bad thing. He stood behind everyone else in the group, leaning on a wall as Kamado went to explain the reason behind the invasion a few days before, and what was causing so much tension between the clans and Jubilife. And then they showed it: a purple crystal, which they referred to as an "egg" of a pokémon with the power to grant wishes.

Rick's eyes narrowed. "An egg, huh... how convenient..." He muttered. Then they went to the details on their next mission. They were to guard the egg until it hatched in five days, out and away from Jubilife, to prevent anyone from making a wish. "So that's what the training was for." Rick muttered, briefly crossing his eyes with Zisu's.

After getting rushed out of the Hall, the team started divising a plan. Originaly, they would split into two groups with wagons, with Rick first serving as a decoy in an early phase, and travel to Cobalt Coastlands away from the clans' settlements. That was until Shiroi turned the plan upside down and decided they should just blend with everyone else. After hearing a few more members, he decided to intervene.

"We were told to keep the egg away from everyone. Including Jubilife. Do we really wanna go talk with the Supply Corps and tell them everything? We can't even trust certain people here." Rick said, while giving a baleful stare at Itachi. "Besides, a caravan with a dozen people following isn't much more incospicuous than two wagons leaving at different times. Depending on how desperate they are on getting the egg, they may start attacking any Corps indiscriminately." He added, before he left his corner and walked closer to the group.

"I would be more confortable with the whole 'they don't expect kids to guard the egg' theory, if they didn't have Kei and Kawa as informants. The moment we were set to guard Jubilife and foiled their attempt at stealing the egg, we got too much involved, and most likely became a target by now." He continued. "At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how we leave the village, they'll send someone after us, eventualy. For all we know, they could have someone outside the gates watching right now." He pointed at the eastern gate through the window. "Whether we go with another Corps, or keep this for ourselves. Each option has their pros and cons. I'd personaly go with the one that has the least people involved, but I'll go with whatever the majority votes. We just have to think which method will buy us the most time."

He then turned to adress Bo about who would carry the real egg. "If worst comes to worst, I'm offering to carry the egg. It's true that Iris can't hide, but we should also be the hardest to pin down and capture. Besides, stealth becomes irrelevant once you're figured out." He said.

~Bo Lake...~
~Boa(Ninjask)(Male), Toar(shedinja)(genderless). Squirmy(wurmple)(Male)...~
~Location, Jubilife Village(outside the HQ)...~
~Day 10...~

Bo turned to look at Rick who answered his question. His ponyta did give him a speed advantage, but with Yua seemingly taking charge, it seemed likely she'd want to carry it. Bo doubted he'd get to hold the egg, but it wouldn't matter much considering they still had work to do.

"Well, regardless who holds the egg. We should get going pretty soon. The sooner we get to where we need to be, the better" Bo said. Both his flying bugs looked around. Examining their surrounding areas.

"If push comes to shove, as soon as our group begins heading out, I can have these two scout ahead and ensure theres no diamond or pearl clan in the direction we're headed" Bo added. Bo kept Squirmy hidden tucked away under his hat as a surprise string shot attack if anyone did manage to find and try attack them.

Etsuko Joy - Team Platinum - Day 7 - Night
HP: 20/20
Pokemon: Chamomile the Happiny

The night was a mess, but Jubalife managed to scrape by and defend itself. Etsuko spent the night helping out the Medical Corps with everyone that got injured during the attack. Hopefully nothing like this would happen while their village was recovering. The next few days, Etsuko continued to help around Medical Corps wherever she could and running little errands as well, but nothing could quite prepare for what her and all of Team Platinum was tasked to do next.

Etsuko Joy - Team Platinum - Day 10 - Galaxy Corps HQ, Jubilife Village
HP: 20/20
Pokemon: Chamomile the Happiny

The whole team had been called to Kamado's office of all places. She felt a thick and tense atmosphere in the air and it was nerve-wracking to be honest. Then the reason for all this conflict was revealed. An egg of some powerful pokemon.. That could grant any wish. It was all too clear now why the Clans attacked them and not just bandits. Etsuko's eyes widened as she heard the plan Kamado and Zisu had. For them to keep the egg safe for five or so days. To keep this a secret from everyone, even her family.

The young Joy chewed at the inside of her cheek, processing all of this information and all the plans that were thrown around. Yua had some good nuggets of suggestions while Shiroi objected with very good points.

"I think the idea of heading out as if it was a regular mission sounds good, but that means we need to keep moving as much as possible. Even when we reach the Coastlands, we shouldn't stay still too long," Etsuko Chimed in with her own thoughts, "But.. those are just my thoughts.." she added and awkwardly with a mumble and rubbed her own arm. All she could think about was how she was going to leave her family for at least five days or so, if not more and she had to lie about why? Perhaps she could explain the whole ordeal to them once they're back. Or that's what Etsuko hoped at least.

"I can get medical supplies though. Both for humans and pokemon from the medical corps in their wing," she decided to add and at least fulfill her role and be useful to their team.

Tatsu shrugged his shoulders. "In any event, we should probably get a move on. The longer we wait to move, the sooner our little friend hatches. Having said that." Tatsu carefully removed the sling from his shoulder and held it out for Rick. "Uh, Rick? I'm not entirely sure where you are right now so can you take the egg?" He didn't actually want to give the egg to anyone, but seeing as everyone else more or less agreed that Rick should carry it, Tatsu relented.

Kawa Ko, Night 12, Jubilife Village. 18/20 HP.

"I hope our intel isn't wrong." Kawa watched over the swampy grounds. "They're trying to hide the egg away from the village? It's not a bad idea, but that just leaves whoever has it open for attacks." He was sitting on a boulder, enjoying a rice ball while his two Pokemon were hidden within the tall brown grass. "This is pretty close to the Diamond Clan settlement though, I doubt they will be stupid enough to pass through these lands."

The ninja, after returning back to his group with a failed mission, was assigned to the place least likely to have any action. A punishment from his father for not being able to retrieve the egg in the first place. It was truly frustrating, despite his healing wounds, he was ready for more. But, all he could do was obey. His time had been spent training with the small slime like Pokemon of the area and the blue eyeless flying creatures during the night. That was all he could do, stay in shape until his next mission was assigned. He looked at the mask wrapped around his hand, the one Yua had returned to him. For a few seconds his mind wondered back to his former group, wondering if they were aware of the situation the region was in.

Day 10
Location: Galaxy Hall, Jubilife Village
Trainer HP: 20/20
Pokémon
: Zashi the Dewott; Julian the Eevee
Condition(s): N/A

Interactions: Tatsu (Draco Nightshade), Etsuko Joy (IDKWhatUserNameToDo), Shiroi Chisanakiyo (kyuukestu), Bo Lake (ThAtGuY101), Itachi (BloodRedRobot), Rick (Ridge), Yuki (ThePlayfulFox)

Everyone had so many good ideas. It was starting to get a little overwhelming, but she soon took in a deep breath and focused on what they should be doing. She couldn't just outright get rid of some ideas, while others had to be done in compromise of another worry.

Being a leader was hard.

Finally, she thought of something.

"Yes, Tatsu and Itachi are right. We can get watermelons and wrap them in blankets or wraps to disguise them, so we can have multiples of these "eggs" and no one would be the wiser until it's already too late for them. To keep our hands free, we can put them on slings, too, but be careful not to have them taken from our backs when we're not careful. Wrapping them up in blankets protects the egg from being identified with having sharp edges, and it'll look just like a watermelon. I understand where Yuki is coming from, but that can be fixed if we just cover them in all blankets. We'll know which one is which when we touch them of course, as it'll be harder and warmer than the rest. But, if you know the Crimson Mirelands well, you can lead us through to get us to Coastlands faster and without stepping on Diamond clan territory. I don't know how many people and Pokemon Tulip can Teleport at once nor how far her Teleport can carry, but we'll just have to figure that out when we get there."

She then turned to the others, chuckling at Itachi's rambling which was kind of funny, but she couldn't lose her composure now.

"Bo brings up an excellent point. We need to keep track of where the real egg is, which shouldn't be too difficult. We can swap the egg's position as well as melons with other melons so our followers are kept in the dark and have to keep guessing. If the person carrying the egg is protected or has a fast mount if they're tipped off by us however, it could cause them to be targeted. These people aren't stupid. We can have one person with a fake egg be protected while the other one largely ignored, which would tip them off to the idea that the one being protected has the real egg when they don't."

She then moved on to what Rick said. "Rick's right. I don't want to involve anyone in Jubilife. In fact, I'm thinking we won't need a second wagon, as Shiori's right that it would create too much attention. In fact, wagons in general create too much attention, but at the same time, if they have Kawa and Kei as informants, they know we're likely the ones taking the egg, they just won't know where we're going. However, no one needs to know what we have, even if we ask for help. If they get desperate, that's going to be a problem. If we do bring a wagon though, we can use it as a decoy to then escape on foot or on Pokemon if we do get ambushed. However, if we don't bring a wagon, we can go through the southern gate easier, climb through those hills, and cut through the Mirelands that way while avoiding most of the trade routes they may be hiding around. We'll be cutting through the wilderness which is something they might not expect, but it's far better than taking a more predictable route other merchants would take. They may know about us, but they may not as Shiroi pointed out, so let's take a more stealthy approach in leaving because I don't want to completely cut out stealth. Of course, when we get found out, stealth becomes irrelevant unless you can find a way to hide and misdirect them. Causing a huge fire and then returning your Ponyta to then hide somewhere or go off in another direction can help throw them off. Hm..." Yua thought to herself, then smiled wide. "I don't think we'll need a wagon, now that I think about it. It would be attacked by wild Pokemon if we do that, so let's not bother with it."

She nodded at Etsuko's, Tatsu's, and Bo's points about moving around as much as possible, scouting, and needing to leave soon. After stashing the map away and clapping her hands, she smiled. "Alright, Tatsu, I'll actually take that egg and wrap it up. I have an idea. Etsuko, Tatsu to the medical wing to grab supplies and wraps to wrap the melons and give us slings. Bo and Rick, there's a stash of melons in the shed near the agricultural area. Get a small two-wheeled wagon and bring them to the southern gate. Shiroi, see if you can find anything to aid in stealth and misdirecting, like those Scatter Bangs and Smoke Bombs. Oh, the crafts room here likely has something for you. I recall they made something called Sticky Globs to stun and cakes to lure our opponent's Pokemon away from us if we plant them somewhere. Making sticky web traps from your cocoon there would be useful. We can set up these traps around any areas we take some rest in, then we can disarm them and take them with us or leave them there to slow them down. Basically, you'll be our trapmaster. Itachi can help with making fake footprints leading away from our area. Itachi, Yuki, with me. We'll be gathering as many rations and traveling equipment we need to make our journey there, and we'll meet up with everyone in the southern gate, get everything fixed up, and go. I would ask for any objections, but we don't have time. Let's go. Anyone has a problem with it, you can gripe about it at the southern gate when you've done what you could."

With that, she made sure everyone left and the egg covered (her Eevee poking his head out of the wrap to make it look less like they were hauling off an egg from the Galaxy Hall), then made her way outside. She pointed Itachi and Yuki to their restaurant area and told them to get eight hot and ready meals for eating while on the go as this was going to serve as their breakfast, and then she head back home, stuffing her satchel full of stuff she needed, then getting a change of clothes, random travel essentials, and the like onto a blanket which she then tied the corners off to secure her load. It was a small bag, and she had enough room to fit an egg inside, to which she did, returning her Eevee with a little pat to his head.

She then rushed outside, the makeshift blanket bag swaying in her hold as she ran to the southern gate and waited for everyone to do what they needed and come back.

~Location, Jubilife Village(outside the HQ)...~
~Day 10...~

Yua was quickly taking charge and giving commands. Each person had a task to perform. His was to get a cart from the agricultural area alongside Rick. A cart and the melons, so they'd each grab something. Hearing her congratulate him on his good idea was certainly a nice change of pace. Getting melons for the cart wasn't an interesting task, but he was fairly motivated now at least.

Squirmy sat silently under Bo's hat. Boa and Toar would need to scoot around to make room for the sling and soon to be melon. Bo scratched his stomach before stretching his arms in the air.

"Let's gettem!" Bo said before heading over to the shed. He heard Yua mention to Shiroi, making sticky bombs. She had a silcoon to produce silk, but Bo decided to chime in anyways.

"If you need any extra silk, I can have Squirmy give some" Bo said. The silkworm peeked out, giving Shiroi and her bug a look see. Squirmy looked at the silcoon, and wished he'd evolve too. Choosing to remain hidden is what Squirmy did for now.

Bo headed to the shed. It didn't take long to find the melons. Bo began putting the melons in the cart, then gestured for Rick to use his ponyta to pull it. He began heading back.

Rick [HP: 15/20]
Day 10 - Jubilife Village

As everything was settled for the most part, Rick walked off the Headquarters to start doing the preparations. He actualy went to the farm first to check the cart that Bo had filled up. Rick raised an eyebrow before grabbing one of the melons. "Hm... I could probably carve these things to look more spiky. If we weren't in a hurry." He muttered, inspecting the fruit from all sides. "Alternatively..." He droped the melon on the cart and headed back home.

As he walked in and straight to the kitchen, he took the two pineapples from the bowl, putting them on his father's workbench. He then took a flask a purple dye and a paint-brush, and started dying the fruits. "Who would've thought pineapples would be so versatile?" He talked to himself, grinning. He then took them outside to let them dry, while he went to prepare the rest of his stuff. A beltpocket and a vial frog wouldn't be enough for the task at hand, so he headed to the stables to grab a saddlebag for Iris. Rick also stoped at Choy's to get a few "toys", as he liked to call them. Whoever would be at the receiving end probably wouldn't have much fun with him, but that was a different story.

Back at home, he parked Iris next to the pineapples, letting her heat speed up the drying proccess, while he went inside to grab the last items. He grabbed a rope, a camping knife, and a Pokeball. He didn't know if he would ever use the latter, but if not for capturing a pokémon, it could always serve as a nice projectile to throw at someone's head. In fact, he would take two of them as he thought more about it. He also took the two Full Heals he had stored since he joined the Survey Corps, and a flask of ink in case he needed to mark something. Going back outside, he put one pineapple in one bag, then realized there wasn't enough room for the second one, since the other bag was already full with miscellaneous stuff. "Huh... a minor inconvenience..." He muttered.

He headed back to the farm, with the pineapple under his arm, to pick up the cart with the melons. He put the pineapple in it to free his arm, and tied the cart to Iris for her to pull, and the two headed to the meeting point at the southern gate. Aside from Yua, it seemed like they were the first to arrive. Better for him. He dismounted, and took the pineapple from the cart. "Hey!" He called to Yua, taking a few steps towards her. "Tried to make it as look-alike as possible." He said, before passing her the pineapple. "If something happens on the way there, pass that on to me. And give me some light coverage to make it all the more credible. We wanna make it convincing that I got the real egg. With some luck, they'll come after me and leave you alone." He told her, crossing his arms.
