Name: Anders

Gender: Male

Hometown: Ecruteak City

Age: 20

Height: 6'1"

Weight: ~185lbs

Hair: Dirty Blonde

Eyes: Blue

Clothing: Tan Hat(occasionally), Gray T-Shirt, Coyote Brown Cargo Pants w/Matching Field Jacket, Brown Hiking Boots, and a Olive Green and Gray Rucksack.

Identifying Marks: Faint criss-crossed scars across forearms from tree branch scratches while traveling through the forest.

Musculature: Lean, tawny build. Very wiry, and strong, but not overly muscled.
Personality: Anders is a quiet, reserved, and polite individual. He has many opinions but tends to keep them to himself, unless blatantly asked, or they fly in the face of his ideals. Though young, he is very precocious and idealistic. He is slow to warm up to people, but once he does is fiercely loyal and a friend for life. Though he would seldom admit it, he is a hopeless romantic. Anders is very intelligent, and idealistic, which leads him to believe he is always right, even when he is wrong. That being the case he often has to learn the hard way that he was indeed wrong. However, he will always seek to make amends, or set things right once he's come to terms with the fact.

Skills: Growing up around the forests of Ecruteak City, Anders learned at an early age how to live off the land. Tought the skills of firecraft, shelter building, wilderness survival, and first aid from his father (a former ranger) as well as a lot of trial and error.

Past: His father, a former Pokemon Ranger, tought Anders everything he knew. Survival skills, first aid, even pokemon catching. In fact, these skills served him well when he was 16 and managed to capture a Growlithe (Archer) who has been Anders' steadfast companion since.

His mother was an Ecruteak native who weaned her son on the myths and stories of their town, which helped shaped the young boy into the man he grew up to be.

Unfortunately for Anders, both his parents perished in the blaze that consumed the tower and some of the town while the two were trying to lend aid. A memory that still haunts him to this day. For this reason the young man set out from his hometown to find his place in the world.

Family: Mother and Father, both deceased

Love Relationships?: Gemma, a beautiful girl two years younger than himself, has been the target of Anders' affection. He has loved her for nearly 5 years now, but his idealization of her, and the fact he has no way of providing for a family, has rendered him powerless in approaching her. Still though, he believes they're to be married... one day.

Pokémon: Species, Nickname, Gender, Ability, Hidden Power, Special Features, History/Personality, etc.

Archer (Growlithe, Male, 4 years old, ability: Intimidate)
He has a normal coat for his species. Anders came upon the pokemon while he was undergoing a "trial" of sorts by his father to test his skills of self sufficiency. The young Growlithe was investigating a peculiar pile of berries when it fell victim to a snare that was set out. It was found by Anders sometime later who captured it a pokeball (crafted by himself out of an apricot) so he could nurse the poor beast back to health.

Archer originally resented Anders for "enslaving" him, but over the course of time it took to heal his leg he found Anders to be caring and compassionate and grew rather fond of him. Eventually Archer decided to stay with the then 16 year old as his partner when he had been released. Though he much prefers life outside of his pokeball.

Archer is a very clever, intelligent, and Inquisitive pokemon, lending himself to getting onto quite a series of predicaments. He much prefers his autonomy, but like all of his kind is fiercely loyal to those he's deemed worthy.

Previously Adelynn Yew
Name: Adelynn Yew
Gender: Female
Hometown: Battle Area resorts in Sinnoh, but spent most of her childhood traveling.
Age: 19
Height: 150 cm
Weight: 11 stone
Hair: brown
Eyes: Hazel
Adelynn wears clothes from all over the world in a mess of unmatching apparel. She wears a light pink cap from Kanto, with her ponytail poking out of a hole in the back. She wears a small grey Sinnoh-style six-button wool coat, with a long matching scarf that has been lined with pins from various places including Alola, Sinnoh, Unova, and Hoenn. She wears thick, warm jeans. Her entire outfit is swapped for a random cute t-shirt, and a beige knee-length skirt when she goes to hotter places.

Identifying Marks: A large burn scar from the back of her neck all the way down to her thighs, caused by an accident as a child.

Musculature: Lean, and not very strong. She can barely manage to pitch a tent without getting tired.

Snappy, quick to anger, prideful, and headstrong. Dislikes being wrong, and will actively strive to right her own mistakes just to prove her own personal worth. Overall a very unlikable person. She does, however, treat pokemon in a whole new light. To pokemon, and pokemon breeders, she's sweet, kind, patient, and accepting. This is mainly due to the reason that she's only known snobby high-class individuals her whole life, only interacting positively to pokemon.

A natural talent (but far from perfect) at Pokemon raising, and breeding due to her childhood.
With enough time, Adelynn can determine a pokemon's natural potential...but only about 20% as accurate, and effective as a trained expert.
Born in a family of renown pokemon breeders, Adelynn spent her childhood traveling with her aunt, uncle, mother, and father all over the globe to gather rare pokemon, or meet with certain individuals to match pokemon together. Her parents specialized in show-pokemon, breeding and training pokemon to be absolute show stoppers on stage and winning multiple high-end pokemon fashion shows. Her mother, Alexa Yew, had an eevee with an extremely rare snow white coat that made it nearly one of a kind. "Shiny", they would call it. On the other end, her uncle an aunt specialized in breeding pokemon for battle, being sure to put their pokemon's priorities into having them become top-notch battling machines. Their prized pokemon comes from several long lines of powerful pokemon. A riolu that commonly wears a tiny silver necklace that once belonged to it's great-great-great grandfather's trainer, and has been a symbol of it's line since. On it's face is a small scar over its left eye from a staraptor attack.

Years passed, and in time Adelynn had grown tired of playing with all the newborn pokemon at home, and learning proper grooming technique. She yearned to travel the world on foot, and meet pokemon of all kinds! After bringing this desire to her family, they agreed to let her go. As a parting gift, she was given both her mother's Eevee, and her uncle's Riolu.

She starts her journey on a boat, not knowing where she wants to stop. There IS a whole region to explore, after all...
Her mother, Alexa, is a renown pokemon breeder, and groomer. Her pokemon commonly make the top of the fashion world, and take the stage by storm.

Her father, Albert Yew, studies pokemon with special forms, and is partnered with Alexa. He usually takes care of raising the pokemon, with help.

Her Uncle, Hurbert Yew, managed to satisfy his simple goal of defeating 8 gyms, and settled down with his wife. With his brother Albert picking up pokemon breeding and raising with Alexa, Hurbert did the same. The difference here was that while Alexa aimed for peak beauty, and glamour in her pokemon Hurbert aimed to raise pokemon to be the strongest they can be. He has a close bond with his Riolu, and trusts it to keep Adelynn Safe.

Her Aunt, Emerela Yew, is childhood friends with Alexa (And hooked her up with Albert way back in the day). She isn't as intent on her work as the rest of the family, so she spent more time caring for Adelynn, and becoming much closer to her than the rest of her family.

Overall Adelynn doesn't hold much (if any) angst towards her busy family, as they made sure to at least spend one day out of the week with her...usually. She wishes to become a powerful trainer like her uncle, before deciding on if she wishes to continue the family name.

Love Relationships?: None, and not much interest in them outside of a handful of "celebrity crushes".
"Periwinkle" the Eevee
Gender: Male
Form: Shiny
rough level estimate- lvl 14 (I'm aware that levels aren't enforced here. This is just here for a general idea.)
Ability: Anticipation
moves: Tackle, Baby doll eyes, Sand attack(refuses to use), bite, Yawn
Appearance: Imagine a spool of flawless silk, a silver statue, and an eevee fused together in a vat of sugar, and that's what Periwinkle is. His beautiful pelt is colored silver, unlike the usual Eevee, and it's unbelievably soft and bouncy to the touch. He keeps his head high in pride, and keeps his fur meticulously clean.

personality: Extremely posh, spoiled, and meticulous. Everything about itself needs to be perfect, and it will even go as far as to run away from fights to clean itself when dirty, or dry itself when wet. (Adelynn doesn't let it fight ground-types, or water types for this very reason.)

But at it's core, it's a loving pokemon who values Adelynn's well being above all else. It's just....not used to battling just yet.

He loves being a lap pokemon, though.

"Ori, the Riolu"
Gender: male
form: Normal
Rough level estimate: lvl9
Ability: Inner Focus
Moves: High Jump Kick, Laser focus, Agility, Ice Punch (All moves are egg moves, or tutored directly after Ori's birth)

Appearance: A typical Riolu, aside from two defining traits. His tiny silver chain necklace with a hallow pendant once owned by it's ancestor pokemon, and a noticeably large claw scar over his left eye, caused when a Staraptor invaded the family poke-nursery.

personality: Brave, obedient, and responsive. Ori was trained since he hatched to become a powerful pokemon, but seems to be lacking in personal drive. He doesn't enjoy fighting when he gets tired, and can throw his obedient nature out the window if he lacks trust in his trainer. Spoiler alert, he doesn't trust Adelynn.

A brief note: Due to his eye injury, Ori has a habit of keeping it closed when stressed. This makes landing High Jump Kick nearly impossible, but that doesn't stop him from trying- and hurting himself.

note: if I missed any rules, please PM me. I'm open to edit anything, or go through proper processes that I may have missed when reading the rules.
It's been a while, but I'll throw this in for fun. I don't know if I'll ever use this character.

Name: Ian Garcia

Gender: Male

Hometown: Kaloude City, Kalos

Age: 15

Birth: 4/15/2003 ( His arc takes place from 2014 to about 2017, and his current character is set in 2018 )

Height: 5'9"

Weight: 148 lbs

Hair: Straight, short brown hair that's faded to a buzz on the sides.

Eyes: Cerulean Eyes

Clothing: Usually is seen in a navy hoodie that dons the Kalos Pokémon League logo. Under that, he wears a simple black T-shirt. He also wears either camo cargo pants or jeans that have been tightened around his waist with a belt. On his feet he wears black tennis shoes with long white socks that have a red stripe near the top, but they're covered by his pants. On hotter days, he simply takes off his hoodie and wears a black-and-white striped T-shirt.

Identifying Marks: He always has earbuds in and listens to music in battle, helping him mix up his timing when calling out attacks for his Pokémon.

Musculature: He is rather lean but has well-rounded strength in not only his upper body, but his lower body. However, his thick clothing hides his build.

Personality: Ian is a confident, sarcastic and rowdy teen who has a whimsical view on the world. He tries not to take things too seriously, but he has a passion for his Pokémon Training skills and for his friends. He is very loyal to people he trusts and does his best to never lose bonds that he creates. However, he has a tendency to loaf around and lose motivation when life gets him down.

Skills: Ian has a natural talent for Pokémon Training. He also is a good skateboarder and roller-blader, and keeps a skateboard and his favorite pair of roller blades on him at all times.

Past: Ian came from an upper-middle class family and had a close group of friends growing up. However, his parents split due to an "incident" and while Ian's dad wanted custody, Ian and his twin sister, Maria, ended up living with their mom and only ended up seeing their dad and his new wife around the holidays. Ian's mom started working 2 full time jobs, meaning that she could barely make time for her children. The two grew up learning to do a lot of things themselves, and by the time they both were about 11, they were more self-sufficient than most people are by 20. Ian decided to head on a Pokémon journey with some of his friends to hopefully chase his dreams ad make a living out of being a Trainer. He successfully became the Champion of the Kalos League and eventually helped his mom retire at the age of 42. He then traveled for a living and eventually became an Ace Trainer at age 14. He currently is traveling around as part of the Alolan Navy, helping fight threats around the waters of the region.

Name: Clarice "Charlie" Connolly (oh god, don't call her Clarice!)
Gender: A big nonbinary whatever (she/he/they)
Hometown: Postwick
Age: 18
Height: 5'0" (actually 4'12")
Weight: 130 lbs
Hair: Dark brown, but keeps it dyed a deep mulberry color. She chopped it all off shortly after leaving home and maintains it as a pixie cut with straight-across bangs.
Eyes: Green
Clothing: Motorcycle jacket over a ratty old black graphic shirt. Overpriced frayed denim shorts and scuffed striped thigh socks. Extremely well-loved black hiking boots. Green plaid gloves. Though her appearance has changed drastically from the time she left home, she never removes her mother's bag and is rarely seen without her green beret.
Identifying Marks: Scars on her legs from her first encounter with her Weavile (a Sneasel back then).
Musculature: Scrawny! Has a bit of a belly, and is shy about it.
Personality: Deeply sensitive, but covers it up with swaggering bravado and borderline villainous theatrics that belie her rather small stature. Very curious - about people, situations, food, etc. - but terrified of failure. She's not great at showing or understanding her emotions, so she can be a bit of a crybaby when she gets especially worked up. Despite her lack of finesse and knowledge, she wants to be strong...but hates hurting other people. She's just a complicated, rugged little punk with a secret heart of gold.
Skills: Getting involved in stupid situations.
Past: Formerly a rather shy teenager, Charlie had a passive interest in Pokemon until her childhood friend pressured her to join the Galar Gym Challenge, thrusting her begrudgingly into an unfamiliar world she never thought she'd enter. Deeply insecure about her ignorance and "simple" background, she became obsessed with strength...until she beat her old friend in battle. Seeing how crushed he was, Charlie had a crisis of conscience and dropped out of the Gym Challenge right before facing Raihan. It was her biggest regret. She wanted to be strong, but felt like a villain - so she played the part. Too ashamed to go home, she now lives on the road, taking odd jobs with the help of her brawny team of Pokemon. She enjoys the freedom from responsibility...
Family: Raised by a single dad, a bike mechanic. Her mother left when she was about 4, and moved to Unova - they write letters occasionally.
Love Relationships?: None yet! She's had flings in her travels, but tends to distance herself emotionally.
Species: Weavile
Nickname: Snow Boy
Gender: Male
Ability: Pressure
History/Personality: Gentle - Strong willed! Snow Boy was Charlie's very first Pokemon. She lured him with food and gained his trust over the course of a week, and received plenty of scratches for her trouble. It seems Snow Boy felt bad for its treatment of Charlie, and, impressed by her determination, joined her... The two are inseparable.

Species: Inteleon
Nickname: Pearl
Gender: Male
Ability: Torrent
History/Personality: Timid - Likes to run! Pearl was given to Charlie by her childhood friend. He's quite protective of her, and despite his timid personality can be competitive. He likes to show off for his trainer, and is good friends with Snow Boy.

Species: Toxtricity
Nickname: Baby Spice
Gender: Female
Ability: Punk Rock
History/Personality: Sassy - Mischievous! Charlie raised Baby from...a baby. Having to carefully watch over Baby Spice's growth gave Charlie a unique experience and a deeper love of Pokemon - even if Baby acts like a rebellious teen most of the time. The two have a strong bond.

Species: Noivern
Nickname: Noi
Gender: Male
Ability: Infiltrator
History/Personality: Impish - Loves to eat! Rowdy Noi helps Charlie get out of sticky situations. Like Baby Spice, Charlie found Noi a bit precarious to raise from a Noibat, and is very proud of his growth. While camping, she likes to nuzzle into his fur - he enjoys his status as the only decently fuzzy member of the otherwise intimidating team.

Species: Salazzle
Nickname: Sasha
Gender: Female
Ability: Corrosion
History/Personality: Calm - Likes to run! Fast friends with Pearl, and incredibly fond of Charlie, Sasha is the level-headed powerhouse of the team. Despite her INCREDIBLY toxic poison (her ability lets her poison Steel, Poison types, AND her own trainer), Sasha is almost disconcertingly friendly, and helps keep Charlie warm through the cold Galar winters.

Species: Rhydon
Nickname: Betty
Gender: Female
Ability: Rock Head
History/Personality: Modest - Likes to thrash about! Ever-reliable Betty is the tanky team mom. Charlie caught her in a Dynamax raid, but Betty doesn't have a mean bone in her body. However, when she gets excited, it's wise to clear the area.
Name: Joseph Bravion
Nicknames: Joe or Joey. Joey is only accepted if there's a great enough bond with someone.
Gender: Male
Hometown: Nuvema Town
Age: 15
Height: 5'5''
Hair: Short brown hair.
Eyes: Blue
Clothing: Green sweatshirt, blue jeans, and grey shoes.
Identifying Marks: A notebook that has a big yellow mark and a picture of Joe's family on it's inside.
Musculature: A tiny bit weaker than the average human.
Personality: Kind and is willing to help, but often tries to stray away from taking an active role in a group. When he's focused or has a bad memory over something, it is hard for him to let go of the thought.
Skills: Persistence, writing, and understanding complicated things.
Weaknesses: Battling, leadership, doesn't take losing very well, and self doubt.
Past: Joseph was meant to be born in Kanto, but the Kanto War had his mom move to Unova to give birth to him while his father died during the war. Joseph has mostly went to regular school and has only gotten experience in Pokémon battles through the occasional broadcast from Galar. A few months before going to Kanto, Joseph found a picture of his father that led to him eventually learning of his father's fate. Joseph managed to convince his mom to let him go to Kanto and start his first journey as a Pokémon trainer.
Family: Mother is Diana Bravion. Father is Kent Kyano.

Hair: Strawberry-blonde, tied up in a high ponytail. Bangs fall over her left eye.

Clothing: Amar generally wears a light gray t-shirt and black jeans tucked into combat boots. A leather jacket with the sleeves ripped off covers most of the t-shirt.
Identifying Marks: Winged scapula on both shoulders (look it up, you might learn something). Scar cutting through left eye, covered by bangs. A strange, curling tattoo covering one shoulder blade with parts of it revealed on the left arm’s backside.
Musculature: Extremely thin, not much muscle, but packs a hard punch. Super athletic despite her slim stature.
Personality: Amar likes nothing more than a good win. Extremely competitive, Amar will do anything shy of cheating to win. Otherwise, very quiet and withdrawn, but will open up to you once you prove yourself worthy of her trust. Changes into a completely different person in the heat of battle.
Skills: Super fast, incredible reflexes, great mind for tactics and strategy
Past: Abandoned by her parents at birth, Amar lived in an orphanage until she ran away to live with her Rowlet, alone in the forest. Now travels all over to get badges and win leagues. She lives for the rush of adrenaline when in a sticky situation.

Name: Luna Artem
Gender: Female
Hometown: Wedgehurst
Age: 23
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 130 pounds
Hair: Naturally pale blonde, she's dyed her hair white from her mid-teens as a form of rebellion.
Eyes: Pale blue, but some would say they're almost a purplish colour.

Clothing: Luna is a stickler for colour coordination and will always wear something matching. Usually, she's in a white plain top with long sleeves, her coat is a quilted, fluffy-hooded, knee-length winter coat that is usually completely open and held to her by an internal belt that sits neatly atop her shirt. Her trousers are simple navy blue jeans, usually marked in some way with mud or scratches from the scuffles she usually gets into. Often seen wearing a falconry glove-like accessory, with her Corvisquire held aloft.

Identifying Marks: Luna has a crescent moon shaped scar from a Pokemon attack on her shoulder, she wears it like a badge of pride though, and loves Pokemon even more.

Musculature: Luna doesn't do much in the way of regimented exercise, and instead just remains active in her daily life running about with her Pokemon to keep them in shape rather than herself. She doesn't have much toned body mass but she is still quite thin, due to her metabolism.

Personality: Luna isn't exactly a massively social individual from an outside perspective, she seems quite confused and standoffish at first to most. She will make snide and sharp comments without even thinking about it, and her attempts to apologise for her behaviour make her seem like a brat, but once you get to know her a bit more, she is an honest, kind-hearted and quiet individual who just loves Pokemon far too much. She will crack jokes and smile once she is around someone more and begins to open up her frozen heart. She struggles to trust other people beyond a simplistic and polite "How do you do." every so often.

Skills: Luna may not be the brightest bulb, but she is cunning and strategic. She favours her ability to think on her feet and to out-maneuver her opponents by reading them on the spot. She finds herself able to read Pokemon, rather than people, very well, their movements and body language all come very easily to her. Luna's dream is to become a world-class trainer and breeder of snake-like Pokemon.

Past: Luna had a relatively standard childhood, her father left her mother before she was born, raised in a small cottage on the outskirts of the fields and forest. She would run and play with the Pokemon all the time, eventually her mother remarried an unpleasant man in Luna's mid-teens. She left home because of him, deciding to take on the tremendous and daunting task to travel the world and meet all the Pokemon she could. She took with her the most prized possession she could own, a necklace made of a seashell from her grandfather and the Pokemon she raised.

Family: Luna's Mother is alive and well, to her knowledge, and still lives in Wedgehurst with her husband.
Luna's Father is unknown and honestly, she doesn't hugely care to know. Why bother?
Luna does have siblings but she is only aware of one - her elder brother - who left a long time ago to pursue some ill-fated quest.

Love Relationships?: Luna doesn't much care for relationships, being a very quiet and generally perceived as anti-social means that she never really had any experience in that department so she never really cared. As time goes on, however, she finds herself pondering more about her fate and how she would lead her life once she's explored all she can, will she settle down? Will she get married, have children? She is unsure, but positive it'll all turn out well.

Cevy feels indebted to Luna for nursing her back to health and has taken it upon herself to make sure that Luna never comes to harm. She stands like a bulwark in battle, ever raising her defence and drawing the enemy's attention back to herself.

Species; Seviper
Name: Cthona (Pronounced See-farna)
Nickname: Ctho (See-fa)
Ability: Shed Skin
Special Features: Ctho is slightly larger than the average Seviper due to great care and affection during her youth.
History/Personality: Given to Luna by an elderly woman with a name attached on a small tag, Luna didn't trust this woman but a Pokemon needing her help was all she needed to know. Ctho was born on Luna's 13th birthday and has been beside her ever since.
Ctho is unlike most Sevipers one would encounter, quiet and reserved in day-to-day life as if raised like royalty, her loyalty is unwavering but her tenacity and ferocity in battle are as if she were wild.

Species; Corvisquire
Name: Morde (Pronounced More-day)
Nickname: Momo
Ability: Keen Eye
Special Features: Morde is a shiny Corvisquire, a mixture of dull tan and a silvery sheen are the most striking features she possesses.
History/Personality: Luna was 18 when she found a small Rookidee under attack from an Unfezant, the young bird must've accidentally wandered too far into the Unfezant's territory or something, chasing off the much larger bird Pokemon with her Jangmo and Seviper, Luna saved the young Pokemon from certain doom. Morde decided to follow Luna around after this and often acted like a sentry of sorts, letting her know when danger was possibly near. Luna eventually let the plucky little pale gold bird join her rag tag team.
Morde is sharp-witted and ever stubborn. Retaining her wild instincts to hunt prey, she often flies off and disappears into the canopy to catch a meal. Luna doesn't worry, Morde always returns. Morde usually sits atop a falconry glove or her master's shoulder when she goes about her business, even in towns.

Name: Adolph Richter.

Gender: Male.

Hometown: (Do fanmade regions count? If so, Adolph comes from a town called Eisenblatt(meaning Iron Leaf in German), from a futurist/advanced(and clean) industrial Germany-based region known as Stahlblatt.)

Age: 22.

Height: 6 feet, 2 inches(Using American measurements since more people here use Imperial over Metric.)

Weight: 176 pounds.

Hair: Very dark brown, almost maroon-ish in bright sunlight.

Eyes: Usually purple in colour, with a swirl of another colour to show emotion, such as red from anger.

Clothing: Adolph usually wears a light, dark grey armoured laboratory jacket and black trousers, and a black belt with silver and bronze coloured stripes going lengthwise, in a bronze band surrounded by a silver band on each side. He also usually wears a white shirt under his coat, and when the weather gets cold, he usually wears a heavy black coat similar to something worn in the mid 1900s. He also usually has a black laptop bag with a silver crest(the crest being very similar to the icon for Ultra Moon) on each long side. Finally, he always has a strange wrist mounted device on his left arm that is basically a screen on a futuristic metal gauntlet(without the hand being covered and extending down 10 inches) which he uses both as an advanced poke-gear and basically any communication/data processing needed. Oh, and he wears a strange tech visor, which consists of eyewear fully covering the eyes but barely extending past that, and looking like a red screen with many vertical silver lines going across.

Identifying Marks: He doesn't have many identifying marks, but what he does have is very distinct. He has a scar(in the shape of a slash) over his left eye, and on his chest, he has the logo of NanoCorp tattooed onto the center, with a strange ink that seems to glow like a hologram, being blue-green in colour. (Oh, the logo is basically a C underneath the shadow of a larger N, with an I nestled inside the C.)

Musculature: He appears very lean and slightly underweight, but he seems to have a decent muscular build, and due to both cybernetic enhancement and much mental discipline, he has great control over his body.

Personality: Outwardly, Adolph seems cold and emotionless, quietly observing behind his visor while he analyzes the world around him. However, to those who have earned his trust and/or friendship, the emotionless visage he puts up to protect himself melts away, and he seems to be rather kind hearted, and absolutely despises combat, however will fight if he must. He absolutely hates pain, in part due to his darker past, and would rather the world be peaceful and lacking of evil.

Skills: Too many to count, ha ha! He's a mastermind, and an absolute genius with technology, however, physically, he falls short, and if someone he cares for is threatened, he does anything to try and negotiate in their safety. Basically, he's a man of many talents, and quite a few weaknesses.

Past: Will be revealed through Roleplay.

Family: Unknown.

Love Relationships?: None as of yet, he's always been single.(But that can easily change~)

Past: As a young kid Sasha grew up with his father constantly being called to battle as he was the champion of that time. His mother would sit and watch him as he played with the family Herdier named Kole and Pignite named Flarig. When his father was home, Sasha would go hunting for apricorns and berries while camouflaging to avoid the gang of Karrablast that attacked those that disturbed their food supply. He had one older brother that did take his life when in high school from peer pressure, which drives Sasha away from having friends. His fiery passion came one day from a feisty Riolu he found while hunting that wouldn't give up to protect Sasha from being attacked by the Karrablasts. Personality: Often quiet and brooding, Grey doesn't express more than surface thoughts to few outside his inner circle. Well-mannered, Grey's academic study lends many to believe him a stuffy and judgemental character. Slow to anger and quick to overthought, Grey is almost robotic in action.
Skills: Pokemon habitats and tracking. Pokemon paleontology. Foraging and cooking. Pokemon battling.
Past: Grey's father (Arnold) studied under Chuck in his fighting type gym, while Grey's mother worked as a nurse in the Pokemon Center. His older sister, Mariana, would become a staple of the Indigo League - never winning but consistently surpassing the initial rounds.

Grey hatched a Tyrogue born from his dad's prized Hitmontop, and spent much of his youth studying the eating habits of whatever Pokemon he could find - friends, family, wild, etc.

Grey's Tyrogue evolved into a Hitmonlee, and Grey - just 12 at the time - left Johto unbeknownst to his family and moved to Sinnoh. He spent some time as a miner working in Oreburgh, where he rescued an injured Zubat from a small group of Geodude.

For three years, Grey traveled between Sinnoh and Unova, where he focused on studying the different regions and their Pokemon inhabitants, and how the regions progressed as people and their Pokemon grew closer together.

Although never lacking for money, Grey survived in the wild, among the Pokemon, taking note of their eating, breeding and living habits. Not quick to battle, Grey earned seven badges between the two regions in those three years, understanding the need to grow stronger to fend for one's self.

Grey eventually moved to Kanto, where he studied under Professor Samuel Oak as an aide in his research. It was there Grey came up with the idea for an advanced training school: University for Pokemon, where one could study to Battle or Research; stay on campus to learn or leave and take on the Gym Challenge. First, he wanted the approval of the world's foremost professors. Second, he needed the strength and the funds to pull off such an endeavor.

This is a 'Harmonic Multiverse Journeys' character.

Name: Nanette Daisy
Gender: Female
Hometown: Aspertia City, Unova
Age: 10
Hair: Blue
Eyes: Orange
Harmony Mark: Her mark is a 4-pointed purple and white star with aquamarine wings. There is a 6-pointed pink star on each edge of the wings.
Personality: Nanette, during her time at Camp Faith, started off as an insecure little girl because she never knew that she and her future friends were chosen to stop evil. Later on, after becoming a Pokémon Trainer, she started to take pride of this responsibility, believe in herself and help others get over their problems, which is why her Element of Harmony is Faith. She always does what is right and is very advocate. However, while she won't look for trouble, she'll fight back if it comes to her. Sometimes, she can be quite annoyed when something goes very wrong. In addition, she sometimes can't control how loud her voice gets.
Skills: In her universe, every Pokemon can talk. She can still hear those voices even if in another universe.
Magical Abilities: Not much is currently known except that she is considered one of the strongest and most powerful fairies in existence as her main power is derived from the legendary Vahirom itself. Like Chloe, Nanette can also sense different magic trails but on a much stronger level as she is able to bypass cloaking spells along with being of very few beings in the entire magic universe capable of sensing across other magic dimensions. This sensory power includes the very life force of magical creatures. She is also able to freely share her powers with other living beings, which is how she managed to help Bloom give their friends the Bloomix power. Nanette also knows some basic, first-level spells that all fairies can use, such as telekinesis, transmuting objects, and fixing minor messes. Her magic aura is light purple in color, or bright yellow in her Vahirom form.

This is a Coordinator character I thought up
Name: Dean
Gender: Male
Hometown: Snowpoint City
Age: 16
Height: 6'2
Weight: 180
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Formal Casual
Identifying Marks: None
Musculature: Swimmers body
Personality: Serious but can be fun and nice as well
Skills: Has an easy time bonding with Pokémon
Past: He grew up the son of a famous actor and a mom who was a Top Coordinator. He wasn't raised as sheltered as someone from his sort of family would be. He had his freedom of course this meant he would sometimes end up in trouble but would always find a way out of it. One day he was watching TV and a Pokémon Contest was being streamed and it turned out to be the Grand Festival. He was amazed by how the trainers showed off their Pokémon in both the appeal round and the battles that he started thinking about doing this himself. So as his 10th birthday approached he thought of the perfect speech to give his parents to convince them to let him go out on a journey. Thankfully they allowed it as long as he checked in with them at least once a month. So he set off on a journey to enter the Grand Festival. He had a tough time at first but eventually made it to his goal. He made his way through the rounds of the Grand Festival and made it to the final round. It was here that he had the hardest struggle he had ever had his entire journey. His opponent was a smart strategist who kept getting ahead of him but after one of his moves Dean noticed an opening that his opponent must not have and he used it to his advantage. He used several combination attacks and managed to get there points even at practically slivers. But he must have out done him because when time ran out it was announced that he had won. He was so happy that he cried tears of joy during the award ceremony having carried on his mom's legacy. When he returned home he was greeted with a parade in his honor and a dedication of that day as Dean's Day by the Mayor himself. After that he went on to compete in Contests across other regions and went to the Grand Festival in each one but didn't win them. Eventually he decided to go to the Kalos region while traveling in it he discovered Lucario's mega evolution and learned how to do it properly. After that he traveled around the region a bit taking in the many things the region had to offer. Then he eventually decided to go back to his home region of Sinnoh where he hopes to pass his experience on to a beginning coordinator.
Family: His parents Steve and Lucy
Love Relationships?: None yet
Pokémon: The story of him and Lucario is below details about the other Pokémon will be revealed in rp
Lucario- Male Shiny Can Mega Evolve
He met Lucario as a Riolu it had been badly hurt by poachers who where hunting it because of its shiny color. He quickly gained the Riolu's trust and got it to a Pokémon center to be treated. Luckily for him Officer Jenny was there as well and he explained where and how he found Riolu to her. She was fretful for the information and launched an investigation into the poacher who may have been involved in hunting Riolu. When nurse Joy was finished treating Riolu she told him that he could go back there and visit it. So he did and he even slept next to it's bed overnight. The next morning when he woke up he noticed Riolu was gone and the window next to the bed was open he quickly reported this to nurse Joy who agreed to notify officer Jenny as he set off to look for it. After searching around for it for a while he finally found it weakened and trapped in an electrified cage in what must have been the poachers camp site which lucky for him was empty at the moment. Then just as he was about to try and set it free the poacher came back. He argued with the poacher before they both got super angry and started a battle having only been on his journey for a few months he wasn't exactly prepared to battle such a powerful opponent but he did it anyway. During this battle Riolu had been watching him and his Pokémon fight valiantly to free it. Just as the fight seemed hopeless officer Jenny and her squad surrounded them causing the poacher to surrender. After that she tried looking for anyone who may have been missing a shiny Riolu but came up with nothing. Then before she could send it off to a secure nature preserve it ran up to him and jumped into his arms. Then it was clear to everyone that Riolu wanted to be with him and with the ok from Jenny he took out a Pokeball and captured it. From then on he and Riolu traveled and battled together even competing in contests together. They had a few run ins with people who tried to capture it but nothing too major. Then during one of the battle rounds in the Grand Festival in the Johto region it evolved however they still lost. But that didn't matter he was happy his friend had evolved. It was shortly after this when he went to the Kalos region where he had decided to travel for a while. It was during one day that he had been exploring in an isolated mountain deep within the region that he came across an unusual stone that had a rainbow shine to it. He went to Lumiose City and did some research on it discovering it was called a keystone and it was used to preform Mega Evolution. He even discovered that Lucario could mega evolve and that Lucarionite could be found in a cave outside of Geosinge town. So he ventured there and after weeks of searching with the help of Lucario he found Lucarionite. Then he he took it to a stone mason who then transformed it into the bangle that Lucario wears which holds the Lucarionite. Then he told him to go to Shalour City and see Gurkin the Mega Guru as he could help him train Lucario to be able to use mega evolution properly. So he did so and they trained eventually bonding even further then they faced off against Gurkin and his Mega Lucario during the battle him and Lucario truly became one and they preformed a successful Mega Evolution.

Toby Hato

Physical Appearance
Toby is five feet tall, weighing one-hundred thirty pounds. He is moderately slim, with brown skin and notable amounts of muscle, suiting him as he is trained in martial arts and is physically strong. He has green eyes and short brown hair with wavy bangs in front and usually wears a basic, white tank top, black sweatpants, and sandals, which are easy to kick off in case the time comes for sparring with his Pokemon.

Toby is usually very shy around other people, ESPECIALLY Pokemon trainers. Due to the treatment from his father, he has lived under the impression that Pokemon trainers are cold-hearted and over-competitive bullies that won't hesitate to put down people weaker than them. Thus, he grows very uncomfortable with the idea of Pokemon battles. However, he is more cheerful around people he trusts and wild Pokemon, specifically the ones that live around his grandfather's dojo. He'll happily practice martial arts with them, engage in play-fighting and sparring, and spend his days camping out and living in harmony.

Toby spent a lot of time around his grandfather, who happened to be a Karate master. As such, he is trained in martial arts, which he normally uses for self-defense and sparring with his Pokemon. He's also decent in foraging, knowing where all kinds of edible food are in the Wild Area. However, his most special skill is that he can actually understand Pokemon speech. His grandfather exposed him to wild Pokemon in the Wild Area ever since he was a little kid and he spent so much time around them that he developed a close bond with Pokemon. As a result, Toby can understand Pokemon, perfectly, as if he could speak their language themself.

Toby grew up in Stow-on-Side with his mother and father, Hoshi and Hokuto Hato, who were passionate about Pokemon and battling. He idolized his parent's determination for being as strong as the champion and dreamed of being a great trainer one day. While he was too young to have a Pokemon, himself, his grandfather, Kenji, would often visit him and his parents gave him permission to travel to a small, humble dojo in the Giant's Seat portion of the Wild Area. There, he got to bond with his grandfather through fun Karate lessons and, after practice, camp out with many of the wild Pokemon he befriended. It was there that he met Lavender, a Dratini that popped up to greet him in South Lake Miloch and soon fell in love with him. Every time Toby came back to visit his grandfather, Toby would rush off to meet up with Lavy and play together under his grandfather's watchful eye. By the time Toby turned fourteen, they two had already spent so much time together that Lavy evolved into Dragonair. With his grandfather's blessing, Lavender was able to come home with Toby, back to Stow-On-Side.

Toby's happy life soon grew sour when Hoshi soon came home from Wyndon. He had recently got to challenge the champion, Leon, but lost after a close fight. If that wasn't bad enough for him, the battle was broadcast on television for his wife and child to see. They were both proud of him but that wasn't enough. Toby's father was depressed and wouldn't even speak to his father until the next day. When his Hoshi did arise, he had grown bitter and thought of nothing but training hard to the point of over-exhaustion, desperate on becoming stronger than anyone else. Kenji came to visit again, only to find Hoshi in such a bad state and, to make matters worse, Toby was dragged into his father's training session now that he had Lavender and was no longer able to visit the Wild Area. Kenji and Hokuto watched in great concern as Toby and Lavy were pushed to his absolute limits, being treated harshly by his father. A week had gone by and Hoshi had only grown more cold and strict towards his son, despite Hokuto's many protests.

Then, on one fateful night, Toby was awoken early by Hokuto. She quietly sneaked him outside with a backpack and a letter. The letter was from Toby's grandfather, reading:

' To My Very Special Grandson,

My journey as a warrior has called me east of Galar, in search of a newly discovered land of new opportunity. However, I do not wish for you to suffer your father's cold-hearted ways any longer. It is important for one to train diligently if they seek strength but all must come in moderation. Unfortunately, your father has forgotten that and you'd need not suffer his pain. That is why I am leaving you with a very special gift.

I have already spoken with your mother and I have agreed to leave the dojo in your hands. My beloved Pokemon will take care of you there and you may have the freedom to make your own path and start your own life. Whether you desire the path of a trainer or simply desire to live in harmony with Pokemon, it is for you to decide now. Not your father.

Till the day we meet again,
Grandpa. '

With all the love of her mother and grandfather, Toby took Lavender and ventured off to the Wild Area at the crack of dawn and started a happy life in his grandfather's dojo. For the next two years, it was just him and the Pokemon he grew to love as a child. He had left the dream of a trainer behind him and, instead, chose to live in peace with the Pokemon of the dojo. Toby had never been happier.

  • Hoshi Hato (Father)
  • Hokuto Hato (Mother)
  • Kenji Hato (Grandfather)

Love Relationships?: None

  • Lavender 'Lavy' the Dragonite
Lavender was Toby's first Pokemon that he befriended in the Wild Area, as a Dratini, when he was but a small child. It is female with the ability Inner Focus, which makes her impervious to the flinching effects of moves like Headbutt. She is a kind and sweet Pokemon but is often overprotective of Toby and is quick to anger when she catches anyone bullying him or threatening to hurt him.

She was the Pokemon Toby spent the most time with and has been when with him, all the way up to the point where she evolved into Dragonair. She got her name from the lavender-colored scarf Toby gave her, after evolving. She and Toby had endured harsh, unjust treatment from his father but they soon moved back to Kenji's dojo, while he was out traveling east of Galar. After living in peace for a while, Lavy soon evolved into Dragonite.

  • Topster the Hitmontop
Topster is Kenji's faithful Pokemon that was entrusted to watch over Toby and Lavy, while they made refuge in his dojo. It is male with ability Technician, which makes its weaker attacks feel like strong, heavy blows. He's a friendly soul who's a dedicated martial artist and exercises a great deal of responsibility in making sure Toby is safe.

Topster has been at Kenji's side, ever since the first day that Toby was allowed to visit the dojo in Giant's Seat. While Toby was out playing with Lavender, Topster would be close by, making sure they were both safe while Kenji tended to the other wild Pokemon around the dojo. Topster stayed behind while Kenji went out to travel, as he was more than willing to serve as Toby's chaperone when he was due to escape the harsh treatment of his father. Thus, when Toby and Lavender first arrived at the dojo, Topster was there to greet them with open arms.

  • Spark the Raichu
Sparks was a wild Pokemon that Kenji befriended as a Pikachu, after settling in his grandfather's dojo. It is female with the ability Lightningrod, which allows it to draw in and absorb Electric-type attacks then use the energy to power itself up. She is very cheerful and rather scrappy, seeing great fun in sparring with other Pokemon.

One day, when Toby, Lavender, and Topster were having their morning Karate practice, Sparks wandered in from outside and noticed the three of them training. It grew fascinated by the martial artists and joined in, mirroring their moves. It didn't take long for the group to notice her and, ever since then, Toby took the Pikachu in and let it live with them. Sparks kept training with her new friends and, when the time was right, Toby gave her a Thunderstone he found while foraging for food, allowing it to evolve into Raichu.

  • Spook the Gengar
Spook is the fourth Pokemon Kenji befriend, after settling in his grandfather's dojo. It is male with the ability Cursed Body, which debilitates enemy Pokemon upon being physically struck, to the point where the last move they used becomes temporarily disababled. It's usually calm and quiet but tends to grow much more playful during martial arts practice.

Spook appeared in Toby's dojo at night, just after he and his other Pokemon settled into bed. Toby couldn't sleep that night and wandered into the kitchen for a bedtime snack when he caught Spook rummaging through the cupboards for food. They both gave each other a light scare upon seeing each other, causing Lavy, Topster, and Sparks to come rushing out of bed and into the kitchen. When confronted, Spook bashfully looked down at the floor, revealing its unusual shy nature. At that point, Toby realized he was a gentle Gengar and offered it some leftover sandwiches he had in the fridge. Spook had relaxed and grew comfortable around Toby so he decided to live in the dojo with them, even participating in their morning training sessions.

Hey, I have a question regarding this kind of thing. So, I've noticed that people have different kinds of teams, but how does that apply to RP continuity? As in, do some people have Pokémon who are not fully evolved and evolve at some point during an RP? Do new Pokémon get caught in some RPs? Do you stick to the same team in every RP, or do you have to change it to suit any conditions? What's the general consensus on consistency in this topic? Because I have a character idea, and even made some art, but I want to make sure I'm handling this correctly before I go and use any of this anywhere.
Name: Koa

Gender: Male

Hometown: Seafolk Village

Age: 16

Height: 1,72m

Personality: Koa is the stoic type... or at least tries to look like it. Koa has a burning passion for Pokémon, nature, legends and traditions, a passion that he usually doesn't let come out in the presence of others. Due to the high pressure he puts on himself to succeed, Koa attempts to keep a tough guy facade that usually doesn't stick, as he's quite sensitive on the inside. Koa has a knack for people, but isn't the best showing it, due to his fore-mentioned facade, and also not being very socially conscious. He might make someone upset on accident without realizing it, not admitting his fault immediately due to his pride. However, despite this, he's willing to swallow that pride and collaborate when the situation calls for it, and when he makes a friend, he'll cherish that friend forever. Koa can be competitive, but comradery is one of the values he holds dearest to his heart. He also has a strong sense of justice, and will often end up being reckless when he thinks he's being brave. Koa carries himself with an air of discipline and grandeur in conversation that usually evaporates if he finds himself in a more vulnerable spot.

Skills: Koa has some light martial arts experience, and specializes in imitating the fighting style of a Kommo-o, much like dragon-style kung-fu fighters. However, he's no heavyweight champion or anything. He just knows how to fight a little. Koa also has a good deal of knowledge on traditions and legends from the Alola region, and likes to share it with others.

Past: Koa was born into a clan of dragon trainers, possibly descending from Unova in a distant past, but who had lived in Alola for generations. In his childhood years, he learned of the wonderful myths and legends of Alola, and wished to be a friend to dragons. As he grew up, however, he realized that the customs of Alola, the island trials, did not accomodate for the position of a Dragon-type trial captain. When Koa asked why this was to his parents, he only received an abrasive dismissal. The young wannabe dragon whisperer conducted his own research, and discovered the truth: a discrepancy occurred between his clan and the Kahunas generations ago, and as a result, they were excluded from a position of authority in regards to controlling the Dragon-type trial. Koa wished to correct this slight, and prove to his family -and the world at large- that tradition and modernity can converge, by becoming the first ever Dragon-type trial captain, or possibly Kahuna in the future. To achieve this goal, young Koa set out on an adventure with his Pokémon companions, and has been traveling ever since.

Family: A father, mother, and a younger sister.

Love /Relationships: None.

Mo-o the Kommo-o (Male, Soundproof):

Koa's first ever partner, caught in the Vast Poni Canyon and gifted to him by his parents for his 5th birthday. As a small Jangmo-o, this feisty young specimen became quick friends with young Koa, and they were inseparable ever since. Through the years, they have taught each other, and they hold great sync in battle. Mo-o trusts Koa with his life, and so does Koa with his partner. It would seem that, in fact, Mo-o has been something of an inspiration for Koa in his own martial arts training, and they often imitate each other. They have gone through many a battle together, and will go through many more.

Stretchy the Alolan Exeggutor (Male, Frisk):

Stretchy was Koa's second ever partner, caught during Koa's first trip to Exeggutor Island with his parents. There, young Koa found that Mo-o wanted to challenge one of the Exeggutors, that being Stretchy. The gentle giant allowed this challenge, but the battle did not go very well for Koa and his partner. During the following trips, Mo-o would go back to challenging Stretchy, and after several battles, the arboreal creature seemed to be knocked down, much to Koa and his partner's delight. Impressed with their strength, and amused by the many battles, Stretchy allowed himself to be captured in order to follow Koa and Mo-o's adventures in the future. As well as being a powerful asset to his team, Koa appreciates Stretchy's ability to see from very high up, a good advantage when adventuring.

Rebel the Gabite (Male, Sand Veil):

Rebel was first found by Koa, Mo-o and Stretchy in the Haina Desert, during training. There, Koa caught a glimpse of a battle between a Gabite and a Garchomp. Clearly, the former was at a disadvantage, but despite this fact, the underdog kept marching on, swift amongst the rapid sands, trying to prove his worth. Even after defeat, the Gabite's futile attempt to get back resonated with Koa, who wished to battle the Gabite. Despite the injuries, Rebel got up, and engaged in combat with Mo-o, who had only recently evolved into Hakamo-o back then. It was a tough battle, eventually ending in a draw! Impressed by the team's strength, Rebel decided to follow Koa and the others in their trek through Haina Desert, eventually joining their party full-time. Before doing this, Koa promised Rebel that he would allow him to win a rematch against that Garchomp in the near future.

Image by me. Yes, he dresses like a Kommo-o, it's intentional.

Name: Nicholas "Nick" FitzSimons (fitz-SIGH-muns)
Gender: Male
Hometown: Ecruteak City
Age: 14
Height: 64.6 inches
Weight: 115 lbs
Hair: Dirty blond, not combed very well
Eyes: Sterling grey
Clothing: He dons a red sweatshirt with a zipper that runs through the middle, underneath wearing a black t-shirt with not much to show. Ecruteak is cool or cold at least all year long after all. Nick also wears black trousers that, after closer inspection, is made of cotton. He wears a worn out pair of running shoes that got damaged during his adventure throughout Johto. Of course, he at all times carries a hiking backpack filled to the brim with supplies his mother bestowed to him.
Identifying Marks: A scar on his thumb when he was injured as a child, along with one running along his shin. The first was caused by a bad day with silverware and then ladder was caused by running too fast on pavement.
Musculature: Nick is a healthy teenager, though is perhaps a bit too slim. It really depends what you define as "fit". His head is round, being more short than tall. His ears are... a bit rather small.
Personality: Nick is very modest. He may do things that are remarkable, but he will always say something to lessen the effect of the compliment. He is cooperative and courteous to others, feeling true empathy for even something as miniscule as the death of a Caterpie. Nick struggles to adapt to anything new, journeying with Pokemon being one of them. He considered dropping out before finally electing to go through Mt. Mortar. He has a stable exterior, but he can always get irritable and rash when someone should've listened to him or pronounces his surname as "fits-SIMM-uns"
Skills: Cooperation, empathy
Past: Nick grew up a normal child in the historic city of Ecruteak. It isn't that large, the city centre is dominated by towers and buildings of a different time. Neil and Debbie FitzSimons, Nick's parents, work in Goldenrod in office jobs. Nick's older brother, Christian, is very protective of him, at first refusing him to go on a journey, protesting it was too dangerous. Nick took it as an insult to Ledian's power and agreed with his parents that he could go. It would mean that they could have less kids to take care of after all. Nick's brother and sister went on adventures of their own, what could go wrong?
Family: Neville "Neil" FitzSimons (M, Father, 49) Deborah "Debbie" FitzSimons (F, Mother, 46) Christian FitzSimons (M, Older Brother, 19) Stacy FitzSimons (F, Older Sister, 16) Clara FitzSimons (F, Younger Sister, 11)
Love Relationships?: None at the moment and really isn't pursuing anything
#031 - Ledian (Male)

Ability: Early Bird
Hidden Power: Water
Biography: This Ledian was captured by Nick when he was 10 as a Ledyba in the National Park. It was caught as part of a Bug Catching Contest, Nick placed last due to only catching this Ledbya. Nonetheless, it has grown by his side and the two are in tune with each other in and outside of battle. Ledian is the leader of the team for sure, always ready to train for an adventure and face a tough foe. It can be more outspoken and brave than Nick, sometimes pushing itself to its limit.

#129 - Stantler (Male)

Ability: Intimidate
Hidden Power: Ghost
Biography: Stantler was the first Pokemon Nick caught on his journey. It was a challenging foe, using moves like Hypnosis, Confuse Ray, and Me First to confound Nick and Ledian. Eventually, through brute force, Stantler was captured with a Pokeball. It has a reserved personality and keeps its problems to itself. Stantler is ridden by Nick on long journeys. When push comes to shove, Stantler will always prove a worthy opponent in nearly every situation.

#165 - Kingler (Male)

Ability: Hyper Cutter
Hidden Power: Fighting
Biography: It was caught with a makeshift fishing pole to the east of Ecruteak. The hooked Krabby wasn't caught at first, but after the purchase of a Lure Ball it was no problem at all. Krabby would prove itself to be a promising member of the team, blasting powerful water type moves and using it's pincers to deal physical damage. It's an attention seeker that always wants high maintenance and appraisal. The only reason it trains is to learn more powerful moves to show off. Krabby evolved into Kingler during a battle against Chuck's Poliwrath, helping to win over the badge.

#066 - Victreebel (Male)

Ability: Chlorophyll
Hidden Power: Dark
Biography: Victreebel was awarded to Nicholas as a Bellsprout by the sages of Sprout Tower. This was because Nick had previously warded off burglars who wanted to steal precious items that the sages kept instead of paying for them at a Pokemart. It soon evolved into Weepinbell after further training. It is great at inflicting status conditions and lashing out Grass type attacks. It wouldn't be until Nick explored the entirety Dark Cave that he would obtain a Leaf Stone and evolve into Victreebel. Victreebel is surprisingly affectionate and timid. It likes to "eat" those it holds dearly though, but that is just a side-effect of being a Victreebel I guess. It won't attack if it knows it's wrong. It won't go near anyone it hasn't met or percieves as intimidating or threatening.

#151 - Skarmory (Male)

Ability: Keen Eye
Hidden Power: Rock
Biography: Skarmory is a recent edition to Nick's team, as it was caught just south of Blackthorn City. It was a hard and rare capture, requiring an Ultra Ball to pull off. Skarmory's Steel type is considered valuable in the Johto region due to it's stellar defences, Nick captured it to capitalize on it's defence. Skarmory is all around a strong Pokemon that still has a grudge on its trainer. It seemingly tries to get into fights and trains alone to hone its skills.

#??? - Egg

Biography: An egg Nick found deep in Dark Cave. It is a fair shade of green and doesn't appear like it will hatch soon. Not even Professor Elm could determine what it was - and he's an egg scientist.

Well I don't know what other people do, but I personally look for RPs where trainers are expected to have 6 Pokemon (tournaments, contests, or other kinds of adventures etc.) so my character makes sense in the context of the RP. If a RP starts half-way through, I might just revert my character down a peg to what their team looked like around that time. Finally, if it starts at the beginning of a journey, my best bet is to just have a second-hand character to use in those situations if you want to protect your character's lore. In my experience, typically those types of RPs fizzle out quite early anyways.
Name: Shinfae "Fae" Ramona
Gender: Male
Hometown: Yaksha, Ransei
Age: 19
Height: 5'7
Weight: 176.4 lbs
Hair: Previously cut short, now growing without any restrictions, slightly wavy, dark purple
Eyes: Violet, pink in daylight
Skin: Swarthy and quite oily
Clothing: Usually seen wearing a dark blue hoodie with a white pokeball print and cat ears, not so often he wears a black shirt (that's when you know he means serious business). His jeans are of a lighter blue hue, sometimes they too get replaced by gray chequered pyjama pants. Shoes are an optional thing.
Identifying Marks: A bandage on across his nose covering a scar
Personality: While kind and caring towards everybody around him, Fae can easily, on the other hand, turn into an annoying troublemaker. Along with these qualities, flows a river of unpredictable mood swings, making him constantly ride on an emotional roller coaster. Childish Fae as that, however, has one secret ace up his sleeve: his best friend Sylvia, with whom he has formed a bond that, he thinks at least, can never be broken or bested by any other. While Sylvia's presence makes him stronger every second spent together, without her he's extremely vulnerable, since she's the last thing that reminds little Fae of home even this far, and the promise of safety by her side.
Skills: With Sylvia - Individual able of making friends
- Actually capable of thinking and improvisation (I can't believe it either)
- Inspirational to everyone nearby
Without Sylvia - Secret power: Useless
- The unique ability to annoy anyone who gets too close
Family: Hikage Ramona (Father), Caitlyn Parker (Mother)

Species: Sylveon
Ability: Cute Charm
Hidden Power: Pixilate
Personality: Her origins sure made Sylvia tougher and ambitious, but deep down she's just as sweet as any other sylveon. But don't get easily fooled by those words of sugar coating, when she locks her eyes on the prize, friends are pushed aside, or used to help her reach better results. That of course, safe for Fae, with whom she would go to the gates of hell. However, even he is sometimes a burden to her. His overbearing nature makes him difficult to rely on since he mostly relies on poor Sylvia. She after all isn't a human being, one that Fae desperately needs, and she aims to do anything in her power to fix that. After all, that's what friends are for, right?

Name: George "Geo" Karst
Gender: Male
Hometown: Camphrier Town, Kalos. He generally lives in the desert surrounding the Kalos Power Plant, though.
Age: 17
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 130 lbs
Hair: Red
Eyes: Blue
Clothing: Tan bomber-style jacket over a dark brown no-sleeve shirt, and a pair of blue jeans. His shoes are heavy-duty boots. Around his torso, but under his jacket, he wears a bandolier with food and water. He wears orange-tinted safety sunglasses.
Musculature: Very solidly built, but not terribly bulky. He's pretty strong, but he's certainly more of a finesse guy for the most part.
Personality: Generally cheerful, but short-tempered. He prefers to cut to the chase of things, and is prone to outbursts when that doesn't-or can't-happen.
Skills: He is a survivalist, who can find food/water in places where it is scarce. He is also very talented in harnessing and using electricity to his advantage.
Family/Past: His mother is the head worker at the Geothermal Power Plant in Kalos. His father divorced her a long time ago. At first, Geo went with his mother to her work, but she grew sickly, and he wondered if trying to work while raising him was causing his mother to grow ill. He then, at 14, ran away, and lived in the desert-like area around the power plant, using his knowledge of electricity and the surrounding area to survive.
Love Relationships?: None.
Pokémon: (Species, Nickname, Gender, Ability, Hidden Power, Special Features, History/Personality, etc)
-Honedge-M (named "Ars," Geo's first Pokemon. Ars also has a short temper, but loves Geo deeply. When attacked by wild pokemon, Geo will often wield Ars as a sword, though Ars maintains a level of control)
Stunfisk-M (named "Adam," Geo's second Pokemon. Stunfisk sleeps like a Snorlax, to the point where Geo often uses Adam as a glider while he sleeps)
Emolga-F (named "Skipper," Geo's third and, at present, final Pokemon. Skipper is very chipper most of the time, but panics and hides under Geo's shirt in the rain, since it is afraid of electrocuting itself. This fear is entirely unrealistic, but Geo allows Skipper to hide regardless. Skipper is also fiercely loyal, both to Geo and Ars/Adam)
Gonna use this to store all my little folks :]

<--- shitty doodle of he (design might change!)

Name: Barron "Bear" Hale

Gender: Male

Hometown: Canalave City

Age: 28

Height: 5'8''

Weight: 134 lbs

Hair: Dark red, curvy, keeps it relatively short but has bangs

Eyes: Blue, very vibrant

Clothing: His favorite cap is a black newsboy's hat, sporting a blue brim and a yellow front. It's decorated with buttons of different colors and sizes, he seems to always be collecting more from where ever he travels. If he doesn't know what set of buttons to put on it, he'll often use ones based off the members of his team. The one's visible on his picture are, from left to right: Magnemite, Mudsdale, and Eelektross!

He'll often wear an off-white button-up shirt, the collar often messy and upturned. Overtop it he wears his own thick work jacket, primarily black with yellow stripes and a blue hood. It's long enough to reach just above his knees and is made of mostly polyester. He almost never puts its hood up, unless it's storming. When working, he'll put on black gloves as well, the palms of which are blue.

The jeans he prefers are dark blue, nearly black, and he'll usually tuck them into his work/travel boots. Said rubber boots are yet again primarily black, having blue bands around the top and bottom. Two seams running across the span of the blacker parts are colored yellow.

Identifying Marks: Burn scarring from the left side of his neck to his left shoulder, not shown in pic!

Musculature: Appears very thin and weak, actually quite toned! Doesn't help he wears a bulky jacket most of the time

Personality: Barron is a very relaxed individual, not wanting to be held down by anything or anyone. He values his own individual freedom first and foremost. If he sets a goal for himself, he'll often not be deterred until it's finished. He prefers not to take anything serious, usually joking around due to his own inability to open up.

Skills: Experienced with electrical engineering (primary job), seasoned trainer, great at repairing things and manual labor

Past: Bear grew up in Sinnoh with his dad, not seeing his mother much. The two were divorced two years after he was born, and his mother never seemed to care much for her relation with her only son. His father taught him how to battle and sparked his interest in it, soon dead set on taking on Sinnoh's league with his father's full support. Barron trained every day he could until he felt ready enough to go out and travel, challenging the gyms in which ever order he pleased at 17 years old.

He only ever obtained four badges: the Mine Badge, the Beacon Badge, the Icicle Badge, and the Coal Badge.

At 18, Barron's father had fallen gravely ill due to old age. He paused his own journey in an attempt to help better his dad's health. Unfortunately, Bear's efforts were in vain and his father passed away one year later. With his father died his dreams as a trainer, now the young boy wasn't sure of what to do with himself. He began studying electrical engineering, deciding to travel to other regions as he did so. There was nothing tying him to Sinnoh anymore, and he'd rather be anywhere but there. To support himself he'd often take up electrical or manual labor work, doing the odd job here and there for some money.

He typically refuses a battle nowadays, but perhaps if one was close enough he'd give it a shot.

Family: Nathan Hale (Father, deceased), Mollie Bolton (Mother, 74)

Love Relationships?: None! yet?

Fission (Mudsdale) ♂

Ability: Stamina
Hidden Power: Fighting
Bio: Gifted to Barron as his first Pokémon, Fission never leaves his party. Being the primary reason he got as far as he did in his league journey, Fission is trusted with many tasks both in and out of battle. He serves as a fine workhorse and companion, never wanting to leave his trainer's side. He'll often serve as Bear's transport.

Fritz (Empoleon) ♂

Ability: Defiant
Hidden Power: Ghost
Bio: Fritz belonged to Bear's father, coming under his care when his father fell too ill to use the Empoleon. He felt it best for his prized Pokémon to belong with a trainer that would use it for its full battle potential. Fritz, alongside Fission, is Barron's most trusted Pokémon and the last reminder of his father.

Blackout (Rotom)

Ability: Levitate
Hidden Power: Flying
Bio: Barron encountered Blackout at the Old Chateau, having gone there out of pure curiosity. After a series of pranks, Blackout was eventually flushed out of hiding and caught by Bear, becoming a permanent member of the team. Due to its forms and careless nature, repairing the items Blackout used to transform granted Barron his ability to fix nearly anything as long as he can get his hands on it.

Fuse (Garchomp) ♀

Ability: Rough Skin
Hidden Power: Poison
Bio: Fuse was caught during Barron's journey, having found her in Wayward Cave as a Gible. She's very battle-hungry, not shying away from a fight even if it's against Bear's wishes. This has gotten her into trouble with her trainer more times than anyone can count. Despite this, she has her moments where she proves to be a valuable asset to his team.

Volt (Eelektross) ♂

Ability: Levitate
Hidden Power: Grass
Bio: Volt was caught during Bear's first visit to Unova in Chargestone Cave, his first Pokémon since he quit battling. Being quite the skittish 'mon, even if Barron were to battle Volt would most likely sit out. The Eelektross is more needed in areas of electrical work where Blackout or Surge can't help, being the most trained out of the three to aid Bear.

Surge (Magneton) ✧

Ability: Sturdy
Hidden Power: Rock
Bio: Surge is the last addition to Barron's team, caught primarily due to their unique coloration. Initially Barron was content with his team of five, until he stumbled upon Surge wandering about Johto's Route 38. Soon Surge became more than just a shiny Pokémon worth some big price. With their joyful nature, they make a deadly duo with Barron's own personality. Alongside being great emotional support, they help with Bear's work from time to time.

Name: Rex Callaghan
Gender: Male
Hometown: Lacunosa, Unova
Age: 15
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 130 lb
Hair: Golden blonde
Eyes: Steel grey
Clothing: Rex wears whatever clothes are best for the occasion, mostly lighter and sportier clothes due to his athletic nature. His entire wardrobe is reminiscent of his hometown of Lacunosa, featuring some of the many shades of cyan that adorn the small town's clay houses. His travelling equipment is always well-stocked and kept neatly in order.
Identifying Marks: A look of determination seems to always be on his face, if that surmounts to anything.
Musculature: Rex has an oblong face with a small and short nose coupled with flat eyebrows. He has a light and athletic build due to his fascination with the outdoors.
Personality: Even though Rex is calculating, bold, and a bit of a glory hound, he radiates charisma and confidence at the same time. These surface-level traits instantly give Rex the archetype of a natural-born leader, but he also shines in other aspects. For instance, Rex is incredibly clever, excelling in multiple fields of study, largely regarding Pokébiology and battle strategies. This is what led him to start travelling the world at the such a young age in the first place, as he grew bored of his monolithic hometown and moved on to broader and more exciting horizons. Despite his desire for greener pastures Rex is bitterly stubborn, refusing to change most of his habits and beliefs with an iron fist, which coincides with his unshakably strong-willed determination. He's also quite prone to barging in during conversations, relentlessly trying to get a word in on nearly anything he can. Searching for challenges far and wide, Rex can effortlessly make allies and foes as soon as he enters a new area due to his polarizing personality.
Skills: Leadership, resilience, strong will, perseverance, intelligence.
Past: Growing up in Lacunosa, Rex always strived to make a name for himself, and being the youngest in his family further exasperated his desire to stand out. It wasn't until the age of 14 when he finally decided that he had had enough, and he set out on a journey that would take him to places all across the world with Pokémon by his side. Although he's still learning the ropes, his research has payed off on his quest to see what the world all really has to offer.
Family: Theodore "Ted" Callaghan (54, father), Colleen Callaghan (54, mother), Rebecca "Becca" Callaghan (21, sister), Ramsey Callaghan (19, brother), Ross Callaghan (17, brother)

Species: Duosion
Gender: Male
Ability: Magic Guard
Special Features: Its eyes look narrower than normal, almost as if squinting to judge others.
History/Personality: Being Rex's first, and so far only Pokémon, this Duosion has taken on many traits that Rex has, mostly his endurance and resolve. After being gifted to Rex as a Solosis for his 10th birthday, the two have grown inseparable throughout the years. In its spare time, it will often goof off with other Pokémon and sometimes even people. In battle however, it will become cold and hostile towards its opponents, and it won't be afraid to use underhanded tactics to overwhelm its opponents.
