So what's the deal with the age thing? If this is true, I have no problem switching age, but wanted to ask first. I may make both my characters 16...

Having them be 16 is fine, although I think they’d have to be born sometime in april. The term supposedly starts on the second week of april, so having their birthday be any time during the second week would make the age be appropriate. Might sound a bit confusing idk. That’s kinda how it works over here so i’m going off that, although we start school in september so it may not be a perfect comparison idk.

Yeah good example. So right now he sits at the oldest in his class, say if he were born in march of that same year though, I’m pretty sure he’d go down a year. Or again, that’s how it works in the UK, not sure for Japan or the rest of the world. Though with no one in class 1a being born before Bakugo I’m pretty sure it might work the same way.

Name: Apollo "Polly" Zakeri

Gender: Male
Personality: Apollo Zakeri is a very positive young man, being very talkative and nice. He's also very trustful and loyal to his friends, being very observant and thinks before he does anything.
Appearance: Apollo Zakeri is a very pale man due to his quirk. His eyes and hair have turned blue due to his quirk as well, being unable to control his quirk's full potential.
Clothing: Apollo Zakeri is always very cold, even in hot summer days, so he wears blue hoodies, and cold-resistant pants which were hand-made by his father. He wears a red scarf on his neck, and some winter boots.
Quirk: Sheer Cold. He is able to freeze or make something specific cold. he's also ALWAYS cold and gives off cold air even when doing nothing. Sheer Cold is on par with his father's Ice Skate quirk, where his father can turn anything his feet touches into ice. Due to being very powerful, Sheer Cold is very different to control, which means Apollo also had to learn hand-to-hand combat.

I will list what he can do with all three Phases.

- Ice Create - Apollo creates anything from ice or snow with his hands, The weapons are very hard to break but takes long to recharge. he can only create one at a time.
- Phase 2
- Ice Ball - Apollo creates a ball with a radius of Five Centimeters. It floats in the sky before Apollo drops his hand, with the ice ball also falling down.
- Freeze - Apollo stomps on the ground, Freezing the floor in a fifteen meter radius. To keep it going he will need to continuously use it making him lose a lot of power
- Rain - He claps his hands together creating two dozens of icicles, Which Apollo can move freely, like Hawks' wings. He cannot shape these Icicles though, but CAN reach heights. These will also melt.
- Phase 3
- Subzero Slammer - Apollo freezes the floor, then creates an ice spike, then creates Icicles that he can move freely. Which if they hit, will freeze anything a radius of 8 meters. This needs a lot of focus and power to use, It also makes it so that Apollo's body temperature will become very cold.

Personality: Kiba is a happy-go-lucky soul, and enjoys having fun. Almost oblivious to her own blindness due to compensation with echolocation, she exudes a positive energy without being unreasonably optimistic. She subscribes to the philosophy of living in the present, and laughs when she can. However, years of abuse from her brother has left her drawn back, and she doesn’t really approach people if she doesn’t have to. But those she befriends she feels a strong sense of loyalty to, and she will protect them at the cost of her own life. She has a strong appreciation of life, as she often has to hunt down large creatures and drain them completely of their blood, killing them in the process; she never kills without reason and tries to be mindful of nature around her. She fights to protect, and that alone.
Appearance: A pale girl of slight stature, Kiba stands at about 5’1” and has long black hair with large, batlike ears sticking up from behind her messy bangs. Her eyes are a pale red that likely would have been brighter had she not been blind. Her back is covered with a layer of fine, soft fur, from which extend her batlike wings that span nearly 15 feet when not folded, and four long, sharp fangs are nestled between her teeth where her canines should be. Scars crisscross her body all over, but are mostly covered by her clothes, and aren’t terribly conspicuous when uncovered, most appearing like cat scratches or accidental knife cuts at the worst. Her features are soft and childlike, thick lashes casting small shadows on fine cheekbones and full lips, and her body isn’t all that developed, though it is lean and muscled.
Clothing: Usually in oversized hoodies/T-shirts and bike shorts, though she wears loose jeans in the winter. Her clothes have large slits in the back to accommodate her large wings.
Quirk: Vampire Bat - the user has all the abilities of a vampire bat with this mutant-class quirk, including enhanced hearing, both volume and pitch; flight, though it requires some effort, unlike with birds; and a mild blood control ability, which can act as a band-aid of sorts to crust over wounds or to shoot small amounts of it at opponents to blind them (though this could be more impressive if developed through training). However, the user must recharge their abilities by consuming blood, human or otherwise, or else they will go berserk, attacking without heed for their own life until they either consume a sufficient amount of blood or die. Regardless of whether the user uses their quirk, they must recharge at least every month to avoid this berserk state. Less human blood is required to recharge than animal blood, and if the animal is living when drained, the blood has more nutritional value.

Costume: A cropped, short-sleeve, hooded jacket over a tight-fitting cropped shirt, and loose pants that cinch halfway down her shins, as well as gloves with small blades at the tip for self-injury to most effectively utilize her blood control. All clothing is black or dark gray with gold and red embossments. A metal cage-style muzzle fits tightly over her nose and mouth to avoid biting her allies if she goes too long without a recharge. It has a loose piece that can be slid between her teeth if she begins to lose cognitive function with a high-potency tranquilizer that will knock her out if she completely loses control.
Backstory: Deep in the mountains, surrounded by the craggy peaks, lies a crystal clear lake. On the banks of this lake, nestled in a clearing in the woods nearby, is a camp. The camp of the Shinjurui clan. This is a clan of people with batlike quirks, including a medley of winged, bat-eared, snub-nosed humans with secondary abilities of all shapes and sizes.
The customs of the Shinjurui are far different than those of regular society. Inbreeding is not an uncommon occurrence to keep batlike genes while still creating more powerful secondary abilities. Names are chosen by each individual once they reach the age of ten, and often hint at the abilities of the individual. Sustenance consists of lake water, fish, hunted meat from wild boars, squirrels, and rabbits, nuts, and berries. The stronger rise to power while the weak are left to do menial tasks, and shelter is often crude or natural landmarks.
Kiba, as middle child of the clan head, never had particularly high expectations. Her brother, Ryuhei (meaning “dragon warrior”) was one of the clan’s most prominent fighters with his sound wave control abilities. Not to mention he was incredibly charismatic and striking, with white wings, porcelain skin, and blonde hair. These characteristics made his more sadistic qualities more tolerable to the majority of the clan. Her sister Mizuki (meaning “water moon”) was also highly praised in the clan, as despite the paraplegia she inherited from their mother, her water control and healing abilities were strong.
Kiba, on the other hand, was neither terribly useful or charismatic. If anything, she was a hindrance to the clan, as she drained the blood from their game and scared prey animals away with her unorthodox hunting techniques. If she refrained from hunting for too long, she would go berserk and cause chaos within the camp, as she did at a point when her need for blood first manifested and killed one of the clan. It seemed all she was good for was protecting her younger sister from their brother’s abuse.
As such, Kiba felt like an outcast in her clan, and often went on long walks and flights, sometimes staying out for days at a time. One day, she came across civilization unlike any she had ever known. Thoroughly intrigued, she began to come back more and more often, until she found out about the hero academy U.A. Her father jumped on the idea of her enrollment, if it meant that she would no longer cause trouble within the clan. Kiba believed that if she could enroll and become stronger, she could finally be accepted by the clan and protect the clan from the darkness within her brother.
(I may make Kiba’s brother a villain in the future if this goes well)

Made this character ages and ages ago, so thought I'd adapt him to this.
Name: Netsu Park
Age: 16
Birthday: April 22
Gender: Male
Personality: He is kind of an idiot to be honest but he has his moments and he makes up for his lack of smarts with his infectious laughter and joy and his eagerness to help others. He is kind and gentle and loves hanging out with people as much as possible. He has a fear of chickens and was always taught that being alone with a girl or holding a girls hand were two inappropriate things that he shouldn't do so he's not very good at socialising with girls.
Appearance: Standing at 6'3" he is quite tall with a athletically fit body type. He has broad shoulder and long arms and legs making him appear slightly lanky despite being relatively muscular. He has golden yellow eyes and his hair is actually orange flames, when made wet or cold his hair appears to look like normal ginger hair but the second its dry it returns to its flaming state. He has a small scar on his cheek from walking into a wall as a kid and he has slightly pointy teeth.
Clothing: He wears tight fighting jeans and muscle shirts a lot with white trainers and black finger less gloves. He also sometimes wears a baggy hoodie or a beanie. (All his clothes are specially made to be fire and heat proof.)
Quirk: Magma - The user can manipulate and create heat and lava. The heat worin a sub conscious way in that he constantly gives off different levels of heat depending on his mood. As for Lava he can do almost anything with it from creating projectiles to streams or even coating parts of his body in the substance for fiery kicks or punches. Lava also actually flows through the his body instead of blood making cuts and the like very dangerous for those around him. He can super heat his body and cover his whole body in flames (flame on style) granting him the ability of flight this form however is very tiring as it requires a lot of energy. He is immune to fire if any kind. Overuse of his quirk causes symptoms similar to blood loss.

His boots are similar to the pro hero Pinky's with holes that allow magma to flow out allowing him to skate along also with a click of button on his belt the soles open and he can shoot heat his feet up to the point of launching himself up for a large jump. He doesn't wear gloves for easier use of his quirk.
Likes: Food, Friends and Fire. Oh and also games and doing stupid stuff.
Dislikes: Water, bullies, chickens, homework and overly smart people.

Accepted! Although I must say his quirk is quite similar to my character’s quirk, but different enough I guess. Also maybe just add a little more of a drawback to his quirk, and maybe take off a stat point or two, or go for fire or lava (preferably the latter) for one of his powers? Sorry if it seems like i’m nitpicking lol.

Looks all good to me, only small thing that would need changing is the age from 16 to 15 if he’s a first year, as they start at 15 unless they are born in april. Either way it’s still looking good.
Edit: Just realised a few people have there characters at age 16 lol. Really minor detail but if everyone could just make their character 15, unless they’re born early april cause then it’d make sense for them to be 16 by the time they start school.

Name: Kuroo Kori
Age: 15
Birthday: July 6th
Gender: Male
Personality: Kori’s an introvert so he usually just sits by himself, sometimes talking to Himawari Handa, his childhood friend. He’s very understanding. He may not be the most approachable person, but you can come to him with your problems, if you know him well enough, and he’ll just sit there and listen, or give comforting words, if that’s what you’re looking for. He’s actually a really good student, he just doesn’t usually care so he doesn’t try, which gives him worse grades. Although he is an introvert, he is very good in teams. He is very corporative. He doesn’t really want to be alone, but he also kinda does. He’s having trouble deciding and so am I.
Appearance: Kori isn’t too tall, being about 5’5”. He’s got an average build and is pale. His eyes are black, along with his hair, which is a little messy and kinda gets in his face sometimes. Pretty thick. (His hairstyle is sorta like Daisuke Kambe’s, but hair down.)
Clothing: Usually just jeans, a t-shirt, and a hoodie. He loves hoodies and will wear them whenever he can. But they make him sweaty in warm weather so his mother will tell him not to wear them. He also usually wears gloves. They’re invisible most of the time, but it’s so he doesn’t accidentally turn things invisible.
Quirk: Invisible Touch: Whatever he touches with his hands, turns invisible. He can turn it visible again if he touches them again. He can not turn humans invisible, but he can turn their clothes and such invisible. He can touch things and not turn them invisible, but he has to concentrate on it.
Stats:

Backstory: Kori wanted to be a hero when he saw Izuku “Deku” Midoriya on TV. He thought he was amazing, saving lives like that. Kori always hated seeing people get bullied or hurt and there’s no other person there expect him. He could never do anything because he was too scared he’d get beat up or something. But after seeing Deku’s bravery, he told his parents he wanted to be a hero, to help people. So both his parents helped him train and encouraged him with all their power. They told him that someday…he’d be a hero, just like Deku.
Before he decided to become a hero, he met Himawari Handa in kindergarten. He was just on the swing, watching the other kids, when she came over and started a conversation, asking what his favorite flower was. After he replied, he went quiet again as she talked about other flowers. He kinda just liked listening to her ramble. She was fun to be with. They talked at school everyday after that, becoming good friends.
Likes: Most house pets, ice cream, music, ASMR, hot fudge.
Dislikes: Schoolwork, loud noises.
Other: Kuroo means black, because of his black hair.
Kori means ice, which is referring to his father’s ice related quirk.
His favorite flower is a lily. Specifically orange ones.

Personality: Kori’s an introvert so he usually just sits by himself, sometimes talking to Himawari Handa, his childhood friend. He’s very understanding. He may not be the most approachable person, but you can come to him with your problems, if you know him well enough, and he’ll just sit there and listen, or give comforting words, if that’s what you’re looking for. He’s actually a really good student, he just doesn’t usually care so he doesn’t try, which gives him worse grades. Although he is an introvert, he is very good in teams. He is very corporative. He doesn’t really want to be alone, but he also kinda does. He’s having trouble deciding and so am I.
Appearance: Kori isn’t too tall, being about 5’5”. He’s got an average build and is pale. His eyes are black, along with his hair, which is a little messy and kinda gets in his face sometimes. Pretty thick. (His hairstyle is sorta like Daisuke Kambe’s, but hair down.)
Clothing: Usually just jeans, a t-shirt, and a hoodie. He loves hoodies and will wear them whenever he can. But they make him sweaty in warm weather so his mother will tell him not to wear them. He also usually wears gloves. They’re invisible most of the time, but it’s so he doesn’t accidentally turn things invisible.
Quirk: Invisible Touch: Whatever he touches with his hands, turns invisible. He can turn it visible again if he touches them again. He can not turn humans invisible, but he can turn their clothes and such invisible. He can touch things and not turn them invisible, but he has to concentrate on it.

Personality: Handa’s a very friendly person, definitely an extrovert. She’d have tried to befriend Bakugo if they went to UA at the same time. She’s stubborn so good luck finishing an argument with this one. She’s also very protective of her friends. She’d go and kick the shins of All Might with no hesitation. Very motherly, too. She often helps Kuroo Kori, her childhood friend, with his homework because he doesn’t want to do it. Very loyal as well. She’s a great friend to have and will never leave you unless you’re a bad person. If there’s a party going on, she’s down. She’ll go as long as one of her friends is. She doesn’t like being alone.
Appearance: Handa is pretty short for her age, being 4’8”. She’s somewhat skinny and her skin is fair. Her eyes are a dark blue, like the UA gym uniforms. Her hair is shoulder length, lavender purple in color. (Her hairstyle is like Tsukasa Hiiragi’s.)
Clothing: In colder seasons, she’ll wear a sweater, a long sleeve shirt, leggings, and a skirt. During warmer seasons, she’ll wear and t-shirt and a skirt. She also wears an orange headband.
Quirk: Flora Ball: Her quirk lets her make balls made from flowers from her hands when she cups them together. When she throws the flower ball at something, making it break, it lets out an explosion.

Five months after her sister’s passing, Handa decided she wanted to become a hero, to get revenge on the villain. So she trained very hard, in hopes of passing the entrance exam. Kori even helped her a bit.
When Handa was in kindergarten, she met Kuroo Kori, who was sitting on the swing during recess. He looked lonely and sad, she thought. So we sat on the swing next to him and started a conversation. He was shy so it was a little hard to get him to talk, but she’s quite the charmer. They’ve been friends ever since.

Yes, I think that’s the best place to start. Though since this is set quite a while after the original story I feel like they would maybe change up the entrance exam a bit by now. Maybe swapping out robots for like solid holograms (I imagine they have that kinda tech) or like have some guy with a cloning quirk make loads of enemies. Thoughts?

Quirk: Crystallokinesis: She can tear up pieces of objects and temporarily turn them into rough, round, blue-ish crystals, about 3cm(slightly smaller than a paperclip) in diameter by touching them. The more she makes the quicker they revert to normal, disappearing from wherever they are and appearing back on the object it came from, she can't adjust the size or shape, though it might become possible later on.

A giant lizard could be cool, it poses enough of a threat without being too outlandish. Though lizards are generallly not super threatening unless it is a monitor lizard. Komodo dragons are strong, but their scariest thing is their venom. Maybe a large crocodile to give the 0 pointer a bit more fear factor?

Well since the rest of the enemies are going to be kinda like solid holograms, I’ll probably do the same for the 0 pointer. So we can really do anything with it, we could have it be like fire breathing croc or anything really lol.

It gives 0 points, yes. But it’s kinda more like a test of character. I don’t think the participants know of it’s existence, so it’s like a surprise. For a good example in the show Midoriya kinda puts himself in harms way in order to save Uraraka from the 0 pointer. He takes out and gets 0 points of course, but he still got in cause of his willingness to risk his own safety someone else. I probably just explained that badly lol.
